Speaker 1 (00:00):
Modeselly Morning Show. We're on Facebook live on the Cool

(00:02):
one oh five to five Facebook page, and we think
it's cold here, it's Florida cold.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
It is Florida col We realized that.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
But Todd joining us on Facebook live from Oklahoma says
they had five inches of snow overnight.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Wow, and it screwed up his golf for the weekend.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Yeah, you got golfing in five inches of snow. And
Linda in North Carolina says that they're under a winter
weather warning with lots of snow and ice on the way.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Oh yeah. The National Weather Service says the states like Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas,
Louisiana all around the South are going to be hit
pretty hard.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Can Did I see something the other day?

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Travel?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
You know, if you have travel plans to go to
the South or any of those areas I mentioned, Uh huh,
you might want to check man sure.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, before you head out to the airport because your
flight might be postponed or whatever.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
I feel.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
I saw something about Dallas having a lot of snow yesterday.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
My buddy posted a picture. He lives in that area
in Texas and he's said, yep, it is snowing, and
he posted a picture of his front yard but covered
in snow.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Snow in Dallas, doesn't.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
No, not really.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
I think they have like one sand truck in the
entire city of Dallas. Case they did when I was
a kid. Shut the city down if it got just
like a blanket, a little dusting of sleet or snow.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, all right. So are you trying to live clutter
free in twenty twenty five?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Really, yes, yes, absolutely we are.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
And by the way, two thirds of us thinks starting
the year out clutter free is a quote key, it's
a key thing, and a third of us are making
it a top priority right now. And that's us right
now now. People were asked how long they think they'll
stick with it, and the average answer was thirty eight days.
So that means by February eighth, most of us will

(01:48):
be back to, you know, socks on the floor, dishes
in the sink. That that is not me by.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
The way, No, that's not all.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
No, and fifty nine percent said they probably won't even
last that long.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
What's the point?

Speaker 1 (02:01):
The point is, well, okay, forty two of us said
a messy home makes them feel overwhelmed.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yep, where's the bell? I need the bell a second.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, that's me, And then thirty seven percent said irritable,
Oh yep, that's me, and thirty four percent said unfocused
that's me as well.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Yeah, but waking up makes you feel all those things.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
The alarm going on, Churtris, I'm you know, I I've
never been to your place, but I take it it's
not clutter free, not.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
My room like my uh like the common spaces are.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Are clutter free.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, and for us right now, see I d Christmas yesterday.
And by the way, Sally, I like the way you
told Curtis earlier. We de christmased yesterday. There's no we
at all.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Well, I have to finish it up today.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, you have one little thing I left for you
to do. But yeah, and so decluttering is on my
list of things to do. And I'll tell you why,
because there are, like I'm gonna say, six bins and
boxes of Christmas stuff and a Christmas tree yep, and
I'm not putting that stuff back in the attic. So
I am decluttering our closets this weekend. And I'm gonna

(03:17):
find a way.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
We don't have enough closet space.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Oh you're gonna try to put that stuff in.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
There in closets in the house and in the garage cabinets. Oh,
I'm going to find a way to not have to
put Christmas stuff back up in the attic.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I hate going up there. Our attic sucks.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
It does.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
There's only like one little place to where you can
stand straight up in the attic, and the rest is
just bending down and all that stuff is heavy and everything.
So I'm trying to declutter this weekend.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Well we yeah, but I don't think we have enough
closet space because then you've decided we needed a new tree.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah, and that tree is going in a closet somehow.
And it's a big it's a it's fifty eight pounds.
The box says fifty eight pounds. Okay, I'm not about
to lug that up into the attic, and I don't
think it'll fit in the attic. I have to make
it fit like the garage or something. See, I have
to put both cars in the garage. There's not enough
room for a Christmas tree in the garage with all
you know, the other stuff in there.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, so I gotta make this work somehow. Yeah, good
luck with that, ye pray for me. You should pray
for you.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
And by the way, this morning see you talking about decluttering.
This morning we got in the jeep, and this is
the second morning in a row that Sally opens the
console to close the garage door, get the clicker and
close the garage door, and she says, we need to
clean this console out.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
There's too much junk in here. And I'm like, okay, well,
for some.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Reason you felt necessary to put a broken opener back
in there, and we know it's broken, but you put
it back in there.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Anyway, once again, we need to clean out. That means you,
that means me, that means me. It's on me.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
And I said I this morning, I just broke and snapped.
And I'm like, I get it.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Then you thinks you Jett
