Hello to your booty bumper. It'sa Crystaltal Sas back with another episode of
a Crystal's Nightcap. Tonight, Isaw Tim McGraw again, and this time
he thrust it at me. Wego to a fancy gala in Central Park
to celebrate my boss exposing g easy, getting drunk with my neighbors. Get

(00:20):
my name is Crystal Rosas. I'ma twenty something Latina who just moved from
California to the Big Apple's Happy Sorry, that was my cat frappuccino. They're
still getting used to the city life. Anyways, Where was I? Oh
yeah, I take over afternoon radioevery day on the world famous Z one
hundred. But when nightfalls, I'mlooking for all the cloud I can get

(00:41):
and casually searching these streets from myPrince Charming. Come on this sexy single
journey where we'll go on a datewith a new guy from the apps every
week, host red carpets and interviews, and weasel our way into the secret
society of New York's top social lights. Oh yeah, and someone's always watching.
That's my overprotective mom. Say thisis a Crystal's Nightcap. Happy to

(01:04):
whoa whoa whoa's day. Yeah, yeah, I hope that you had a
great weekend. Hope you had agreat week last a week. Let's take
a little inventory of how we're feeling. Okay, where are you at on
a scale of one to ten?How are you feeling in your brain?
How are you feeling in your body? How are you feeling in your soul?

(01:30):
Okay, you know we can alwayswe can always do better, even
better than our best. So whateverthose thoughts are, just bring them in
and just kick them out, andwe are just gonna keep it upward and
onward from right now to on.So let's take inventory of myself. How
am I feeling physically? I'm fine, I'm feeling energized. I just had

(01:52):
a coffee. I'm feeling good.I had a great day to day.
I'll tell you about it in asecond. But also, are these allergies
or am I getting cold again?Mentally, I'm good, like I'm good.
My spirit and my soul is thick, thick, ums very thick.

(02:13):
So yeah, I'm doing good.I'm like texting my mom right now.
I'm a little I'm a little distracted, but I'm gonna put sand that I
love you, love you, Sondra, love you somebody with that. But
I need my full attention to mylittle, my little cave men and women
right now. But yes, I'mgood, Okay, I'm mentally good,
spiritually good, physically good. Idon't know if it's allergies. I don't

(02:36):
know, because last week I gotback from Vegas from our twenty twenty three,
I write a music festival. Thenext day, I'm like, oh
Lord, my throat. But mybeautiful boyfriend, last time I was sick,
he had overnighted me some like organicthroat coat situations. He gave me
some like immune support spray. Soas soon as I started feeling like that,

(02:59):
I was like, no, germs, you will not prosper. Virus
says, you will not prosper inme. So I just started spring my
mouth whole with that little immune supportsbrain, taking those cough drops and chugging
vitamin C the little packets, andhonestly, like, after two three days,
even though I sneezing a lot, after two three days, I was

(03:19):
fine. But now I'm filling thatvibe again, and it's because I wasn't
taking the immune support. So wegotta get back on that because I'm not
gonna get sick, you know me. I hate, I hate with the
passion being sick. Ain't nobody gottime for that. A nobody got the
wallet to be sick and missing workand missing things like that. So I

(03:40):
cannot be sick, especially this weekbecause we got a lot of things going
on this weekend. But now we'regoing to get into it. We are
getting into Crystal's Nightcap because there isso much to share with you, all
fun, crazy, fun stuff.Let's get it. Sit back, relax,

(04:05):
It's Crystal's Nightcap. You know.I had that crazy weekend last weekend
where I just became best friends withFlavor Flav. I went viral with the
rapper Little Dirk on line. Isang with Tim McGraw, I broke into
show Crow's green room. I metthe cast of boy Meat's World. Like

(04:28):
you need to go listen to lastweek's episode. It was iconic. So
I got back through. Uh yeah, Monday, Tuesday recorded with you.
Wednesday, I chilled, and thenThursday, Thursday, I got invited to
my boss's boss's boss's boss this galabecause he was getting honored Huntie. His

(04:53):
name is Tom Pullman. He isvery widely known in the media world,
and he was honored at this year'sNew York City Parks Foundation Summer Stage with
the Icon Award, and they werethrowing a gala for him at Central Park
in New York City. So Igot invited to this like a few weeks

(05:15):
ago, and I've known about itfor a second, and I knew it
was gonna be right when I getback for my Heart Festival, so we're
gonna be tired af but I wasalso really excited about this. I don't
know who was going, I don'tknow what the situation was. All I
knew was that Tim McGraw himself wasgoing to be performing again. Me seeing
Tim McGraw twice in less than aweek, I mean, my panties couldn't

(05:35):
take it. It was crazy. So after work, I get all dressed
up. I wear my Jeffrey Campbellboots that I bought on Norse frommac for
half off. Oh Iconic. It'sgiving Wicked Witch of the West, and
I love those boots. It's likethe only, like one of the only
black boots that I own. Idon't really wear a black a lot,
but I knew that it's like anight gala and people are gonna be dressed

(05:58):
up and like, it's not aboutme. I'm not gonna getting no awards,
so I'm gonna calm it down.I'm gonna be very humble, and
I'm gonna wear black, a blackshimmery dress I have. Of course,
I have to have a little glimmerin their little gold, silvery glimmer.
But I'm not going to be stillin the show because it's not my show
to steal. I'm gonna have myhair all curled with the heatless curler of
curlers I've been sleeping in that I'vebeen working so well for me and I'm

(06:20):
gonna beat my face to the godsand I'm be ready because I know it's
gonna be. We're gonna have likedrinks there open bar, We're gonna have
a dinner there, and then we'regonna honor him and speeches and then Tim
mcgrana. I've never really been toa gallup before. I don't think I've
ever been invited like officially to agala. I honestly don't. And so

(06:43):
as I'm leaving work and I'm youknow, all dressed up, have my
big old bag with my extra runningshoes that I put in there. It's
also storming like raining like these are. This is the week of the floods
in New York City. But ain'tno rain instead of rain or shine on
the invitation. So, ain't norain gonna rain on my parade, on
my gala night, honoring my boss. So I pull up and I see

(07:03):
my other boss, and she isamazing and I love her so much.
Oh my god, she's literally thetruth. I see her, and she's
taking me under her wing, introducedme to these people. Her and Iron
chat and catching up. We're takingselfies, we're taking photos. She loves
the memories, and I love that. I love that for her, and
I love that for us. Sowe're all doing that. I'm not gonna
drink. I'm gonna have maybe aglass of wine just to not be awkward,

(07:26):
but I'm just gonna hold it andbarely sip it because these are all
big, big wigs that I cannotbe out here drinking around and getting sloppy
and slurry. That's just not whatwe're gonna. Zoo, honey. So
we're enjoying our little cocktail hour, and then we're gonna and then now gets
a little later and we're gonna allgo. We're getting pushed inside to get

(07:48):
ready for the dinner part portion. So as I'm getting pushed inside, I
see somebody walking up the stairs andI'm like, is that g Easy?
Like b g easy, surprise, surprise. Up, it's just me myself
and not you know him. TheBay Area's own g easy, Berkeley's own

(08:09):
G Easy. I that's jeezy,that's Gerald. So I literally say,
yo, Gerald. I literally saythat to him. I say, Yo,
Gerald, Hey, what's up.I'm from the Bay And he said,
oh cool cool, and he goes, oh, I live here now.
I'm like, really, how longhave you lived here? And he's

(08:30):
like, oh for a year.I'm like, cool, you need to
come by ze one hundred. I'veworked with you before on Wildney for nine.
He's like, oh, lit lit, Yeah, I'm gonna come through.
I'mna come through. And then thatwas it. He was with some
like batty and he was sweet andhe was sweet. So that was it.
So I don't know if I shouldlike expose him or not. I
kind of want to expose him.I kind of want to expose him.

(08:54):
Oh my god, No, I'mnot gonna expose should I I'm I'm gonna
try to be I'm gonna try tobe like as civil about this as I
can. Okay, I don't evenknow what the year was. Well,
I was a scrawny little intern inSan Francisco at Wild Bendy for nine and
Geezy Geezy g easy was big likefor us, especially as for the bait,

(09:18):
he was big and he pulled upfor an interview and I wasn't doing
the door. I was an intern, I was a nobody. I was
a trash, I was a garbageAnd I did ask for a picture with
him with my bff at the time, Sena, and he was cool.
Maybe he was having a bad day. I don't know. I was just

(09:39):
really excited to see him, andI think that maybe he was just really
tired and having a bad day andhe was just a little lackluster and at
the end of the day, likewhen you're on tour, when you're grinding,
when you're going around different places, and when you're getting a lot of
stardom, it can weigh on you. So I think that's probably what the
vibe was, is that he mighthave just been tired or just it kind

(10:01):
of gave a little ish don't stinka little bit, a little bit,
okay, And that's okay, that'sokay. Years later, during the pandemic,
he's putting out years years years later, during the pandemic, he's putting
out in a music drummer. Hehad that whole like Meg the Stallion thing
where he was like making out withMeg the Stallion online and it was like
weird vibes. I interviewed him onZoom and honestly, he was really nice

(10:26):
and he was really humble, Andin my head, I'm like, are
you being a little nicer because I'minterviewing you, And like I wasn't an
intern to nobody back then, andI don't know, I don't know,
but he was really really nice whenI interviewed him, and then I met
him at a jingle ball and hewas chill. And then when I met
him, I'm gonna say, whenI met him here in New York at
the gala, he was nice tome. So I wouldn't really say,

(10:48):
like one hundred percent exposing him.I'm just gonna say, like he might
have been in a different place atthat time, and he was he was
cool. I mean, he wastrying to get to his dinner seat.
So it's not like we engage oranything. It was just a really quick
like hey, me giving him, love him, saying he's in New York
now, and me telling him tocome through ZE one hundred to chat.
I don't know or think he will, but who knows. But my boss

(11:09):
Tom Pullman really helped put him on. My boss Tom Pullman helped put a
lot of artists on throughout his careerso far. So that was a cute
moment. And we love okay,we all love all good energy, all
good vibes to g easy like noshade, no negativity, is all fine
for me. And I don't knowwhat your experience has been or was or

(11:30):
whatever that is, but that's justmy experience. And now it's twenty twenty
three. Years have passed pretty muchten years have passed, and you know,
I don't always have my best footforward. I tried to sometime.
I tried to most of the time, especially if people come up and say
hi to me in public, mostlyin the Bay, like I always try
to. But you know, weall have our days. So I'm just
gonna say that. But he's nice. No beef, no beef, no

(11:52):
beef, don't come for meat,no beef, So I was a cute
little moment. And then also Chillyfrom TLC was there to congratulate Tom Pullman.
I didn't get to see her talkto her because she was sitting on
a complete opposite table of me,but it was really awesome. So I
was sitting with some radio people. It was really nice because a lot of
these tables you have to buy sothat you can give back to the foundation,
and the Foundation helps with parks andrecreational stuff and just a whole bunch

(12:16):
of things around New York City.So that's why they were honoring Tom Pullman,
because he gives back and helps somuch to New York City. So
one of those tables, one tableis like thousands of dollars, I know
the exact number, and it's wilding, but it's all for charity. It's
all to give back to the city, which is amazing. And I have

(12:37):
to give a round of applause toElvis Duran. He is the morning host
here at ZE one hundred and hebought the table that I was sitting at,
and I was a guest, soI was very lucky that I got
to sit at his table and thathe cashed out for us for that table.
Thank you so much with it.King'll giving queen queen. He wouldn't
care if I called him a queeneither. Just so giving and know just

(13:00):
it's really nice seeing people of thatcaliber like Elvis durand give back to charities
and things like that. It makesme really hopeful for one day hopefully I
can get a bag like that andgive back like that as well when I
get that bag. So it washuge, I mean it was a huge
canopy was at the summer stage. There's a whole bunch of tables. There's
I want to say, like probablyyeah, there's hundreds of people there and

(13:24):
they're really all there to honor thetwo recipients of the award. And all
the women are dressed nice with theirheels and their dresses, and some men
are coming in Jordan's and jeans, and it's like, this is what we
mean, this is what we meanby women always have to do. And
don't get me wrong, there aresome men that were spiffy, but some
thought it was okay to just rollin, look like you're about to hit

(13:48):
the club, look like you're aboutto go to somewhere. And a story
this weekend. It's just if awoman did that, absolutely not. I
mean they would look at her crazyand say that she doesn't care. And
guys and as they're cool and thelaid back one. That's just some differences
I noticed because all the women weredressed to the nines and in their uncomfortable
heels and hair and makeup done, and some of these guys were just like,

(14:11):
bro, this is a gala.It says cocktail a tire dress accordingly.
But other than that, it wassuch a good event. Tom Pullman's
family was there, and honestly,he was just so happy that his siblings
were there, Like I could justsee in his face, and he introduced
me to them, and they are'sjust so supportive of each other. And
Tom worked so hard for so manydifferent things, and it just was really

(14:33):
awesome seeing how happy he was seeingthat his family was there, because that's
the most important part to me.Like awards is cute and flexing and all
that is nice or whatever, butit does it's not important unless your family
can participate and like have pride inyou. And I saw that because his
own brother gave a speech and itwas the sweetest speech ever and you can
just tell that he loves him somuch. And Tom's the little brother,

(14:58):
so having his big brothers there itwas so cool and just hearing their stories.
And then Tom gave his amazing speechand he is so that man.
He even he called out he keepthinks to even on hair talent and like
program directors in his speech and it'slike, you don't have to say,
our names are krusty names, andthis is about you, sir, like

(15:22):
this it's all about you. Andhe said my name, he said our
boss's names, other co workers' namesthat are here, and then market at
New York City, and I justthought it was really sweet that he said
thank you to us, because it'sjust like you don't have to but so
humble of you. He is seriouslythe sweetest and like most humble person like
I, Oh, he's so niceand so sweet and approachable and easy and

(15:46):
just give so much love. Ihope if I'm successful one day I people
talk about me the way that Iadmire him, because he is just really
it. He really is. SoI was really thankful and humbled that I
was able to be a part partof that. Also that was congratulated and
recognize her name as Devin Eisenberg, and she helps with underprivileged kids in the

(16:10):
school education system, and she doesa lot for New York City Parks Foundation.
So congrats to them for getting theirawards. And then after Tom's speech,
he welcomed Tim McGraw to the stage. Let's talk about that. She's
you know me, I've talked aboutit. I am a huge Tim McGraw
fan. I'm a Tim Growley andsee him two times in a row in
less than a week. I wasshook it and he was just on that

(16:33):
stage. He was just singing it, and he forgot the words a little
bit to one of his songs. That's okay, it's Tim flipping McGraw.
It's Tim McGraw. Okay, he'sbeen performing for thirty years, Like,
let him forget some of the words. We will carry for you. We
will carry for you, sir.At one point, I was screwing my
head off to one of his songsand he was on stage. You know,

(16:53):
he started thrusting to me, eventhough he was kind of far.
He was maybe like two yards awayfrom me, directly thrusting at me,
slowly, slowly, Faith Faith Hill, you better watch yourself, oh,

(17:15):
hell. No, I'm completely kidding. I am completely kind of kidding.
No, no, no, I'mmore respectful. I'm not a house homeworker.
I do not respect that. Thatis bad juju, bad carbon bad
vibes. Tim McGraw's kids were there, like one of his daughters was there,
and I'm like iconic he were thedaughter of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill
like what it was everything and itwas so fun. And then towards the
end of his performance, it startedpouring down rain, pouring, pouring,

(17:37):
pouring, poorn like buckets of rain. But we were under the canopy.
There was a little in between areaand people started shoving to one side because
they were getting swamped. These galaoutfits were getting just demolished and soaked like
water gun soaked. It was hilarious. I was all good though, And
yeah, the dinner was great. We had like corn bread for a chicken,
greens potato was unlimited alcohol, butagain I wasn't really drinking, and

(18:04):
no, it was cool. Iwas just like rubbing elbows. I was
furiously trying to rub elbows with allthese these execs that were flown in from
my heart. And Tom's like closestcolleagues and just people in the industry,
record label people, a lot ofthose, and it was just it was
a bee's knees. I felt veryunnered. I was very honored because there

(18:26):
were some people that were invited andI'm just like, I can't believe I'm
invited. Because Carolina Bermudez from KTU, greg t there are a huge station
here in New York City. Theywere there, other radio icons, Bartel
on our table, people from justjust a lot of big memes were there,
and dang, I can't believe I'min the building. Like I'm I'm

(18:48):
in the building. I'm in thebuilding, y'all. I'm in the building.
So I just was very thankful thatI got invited. And it wasn't
really cool. It was you knowwhat I was giving. Honestly, I'm
not gonna lie to you. Itwas giving Gossip Girl. It was giving
gass every like the all of it. It was just fine, fancy,
but Odurve's being passed around like sitdown meal. Like I used to cater

(19:11):
at these events. I used tobe the person with the tray handing you
out tuna tar tar, And nowI'm able to eat some of this Tuna
Tartar as a guest, and Ijust it still shook it to me.
I still can't believe it, andI'm very very thankful I could. I'm
like, I'm in Central Park wearinga beautiful outfit, like at this amazing

(19:32):
gala for my boss that personally invitedme, and other big wigs are here
and Tim McGraw's performing. I justI couldn't believe it. I really was
like living my best Sabrina life.So that was the gala. Friday,
very chill day. Went to work, went home, just relaxed, nothing
crazy. Saturday morning, woke upfor my morning shift at ZE one hundred.

(19:53):
After that, I went to thestore we have out here. I
haven't seen these in the Bay inCalifornia, but here in New York they're
pretty popular. They're called five andBelow, so it's like a dollar store,
but five dollars in below. AndI wanted to get into the spooky
season vibe because hello Sunday, Octoberfirst. So I was just like,
I need to be decorated and ready. I gotta do some I gotta get

(20:15):
this place ready and up and popin first spooky season. So I bought
some really cheap garlands for my windowseal and like for some places around the
kitchen, and for my wreath thatstays up all year long. I have
a gold wreath outside of my apartment, and I decorate it for the season.
So if it's February, I'm goingto put hearts around it for Valentine's

(20:36):
Day. When it March comes,I'll put clovers around it. Summertime,
I just leave at gold. Andthen now it's spooky season, so I
put some little goblins and ghouls upthere. I just want to get my
place excited and spirit vibed for spookyseason. And then I got a whole
bunch of stuff to make boo baskets. This is a new trend. I
saw this from the YouTuber Tricia Petis. Her husband made a boo basket for

(20:57):
her, and I thought it wasso cute. So pretty much a boo
basket is at Easter basket but forHalloween, and you just put like Halloween
spooky vibe things in there. SoI made a boo bat. I'm making
a boo basket for my nephew, the little duck Alex. I was gonna
make one for my boyfriend Zadi, but then he has a child, so

(21:17):
I was like, you know,I'll just make it for the kid,
and then if my boyfriend wants,he can take stuff from there too.
So I made a boo basket forthem, and I got a whole bunch
of stuff from five and below. And I'm so excited because I get to
go home this weekend and I'm goingto present my boo basket to the little
duck, my nephew, and toZaddi and his kids. So that's gonna

(21:41):
be really, really fun. Igot a whole bunch of candies and some
like temporary tattoos to like pretend tobe a scary vampire or a little scary
ghoul. And I bought some candiesfor them, and they're gonna love the
boo baskets. Like I really wentoff. I got a little fake rat
for my little duck, Alex. It's like a toy card, but it's

(22:02):
a rat, and he's gonna tryto scare him. I already know him.
He's gonna try to scare people withit. So it's iconic boo Basket
season. Boo Basket season. Soafter that, I knew that I was
going to be gone the next twoweekends out of town, so I wanted
to hang out with some friends herein town. So I linked up with
my bff, Rech. She's myneighbor in my building. She's the one

(22:25):
that I went to stay with inDubai. So her and I decided to
have a little movie night at myhouse. So she pulled up and came
over. And then I haven't seenmy neighbor Jason a very long time,
so I hit up Jason. I'mlike, hey, do you guys want
to go to a wine bar orsomething? And they're like, yeah,
good idea. We'll link up alittle later. So kind of approached like
eight pm, and Jason's like,Hey, we're just at my apartment with

(22:45):
my girlfriend. We're making sangria. Why didn't you guys pull up? So
we pull up with some wine andI'm haking out. I'm hanging out with
Jas and his girlfriend, his roommates, and my friend Rich and we're just
having like a sangreat night in andthe sangria was up and popping, and
he really, men belong in thekitchen. They belong as bartenders. They

(23:06):
are here to serve us. SoI love that. No, no,
no, no, I know arude way, but I thought it was
really sweet. I love when menlike cater to the women around them.
That's definitely a thing that I appreciate. And I just love that he was
making he was playing a little bartenderand it was good. So after we're
just like talking and kind of gettingto know each other a little bit more,
asking about our jobs and things likethat, and then Reach ordered sushi

(23:29):
for all of us. So wejust were grubbing and grubbing and grubbing and
grubbing. Clock strikes eleven and usboomers. We're boomers now, like we
are just tired, like we justwant to go to sleep. So we
were only there for a few hours. But back in the day, we'd
be up two three am talking drinking. I'd be up with Jason his roommates
and friends. And now it's eleven, and we're like, yeah, I

(23:49):
think that's that was good. Wedid what we had to do. I
have Misa in the morning. I'mgonna take a nap. So I'm really
happy I got to catch up withmy New York friends. I'm happy that
we called it early and got ourfew glasses of wine. I was a
little tiny turn glasses of wine outthe way. And then the next day,
honey, I got my ten hoursasleep, Yes, I absolutely did,

(24:10):
got ready to go to Mesa andhit church right walked where where I
live? After church? You knowme? I did hospitality and it was
talent show day because everybody wanted toshow off their talents at hospitality, so
we have a lot of singers.Yeah, that was Stark. He is

(24:42):
incredible. And then we had anew member joined us for hospitality today.
His name was Miguel and he bro, he's so cute. Oh my god.
He is like eighties four and heis just so adorable. And he's
actually from Mechicel, like my family. He moved to Ohio and then he
moved to New York City and he'sbeen in New York since the fifties and

(25:03):
he learned to sing in French.Bro, how cute. If you didn't
watch this, if you missed iton my Instagram story, I actually added
it to my highlights on ig atLack Cristal Rosas. I added it to

(25:27):
the WTF NYC two stories. It'sthe most recent one. So go to
my Instagram, go to my stories. You have to watch himself. It's
so cute. It was a carfor me, car of it so adorable,

(25:47):
love, I love obsessed stand Ohwe stand again. So that was
hospitality, and then my girl Adolinked up with me, my bff Audio
from high school. Her and Iwere just running Farrell together twinsies in high
school. This is like my highschool best best best best best best friend
from freshman year on and we reallybonded over the Jonas Brothers and hand him

(26:10):
Montana RP class our freshman year. And she is now staying with me for
this week. So happy that Iget to see her and hang out with
her. And she pulled up Sundaymornings. So after hospitality, we linked
up and we had a really cutelittle tide date on Ninth Avenue and like
forty second, forty third, NinthAvenue, forty three, it's called nine.

(26:33):
It's reasonably priced. The food isbomb. I got like shrimp green
curry and shrimp rolls. I love. I love me some gumad on us,
you know me. I just lovegumat on us. And it was
great. After that, we gota little coffee and then she was going
to go grocery shopping with me atYes Trader Joe's I've been obsessed with the

(26:56):
prices at Trader Joe's. I hadan entire episode about me discovering Trader Joe's
for the first time a few weeksago or maybe months ago. But yeah,
she's down to come with me.So we walked all the way there
and we did our little thing, and we city biked back. And it
was beautiful because even though it wasstorming and flooding last week, this weekend,

(27:18):
no, no, yeah, likeSunday and the rest of this week
has been amazing. Summer all overagain. And when it's good temperature and
good weather, I want to ridea bike. Lance Armstrong is quicken in
his boots. But back to groceryshopping. I mean, it really is
a whole thing out here in NewYork City trying to just grocery shop.

(27:40):
Because I've mentioned this before. Thereare about three grocery stores really close to
where I live, within a fiveblock radius fifteen minutes for the first one.
Then you get closer and then closerto my house, and it's just
not it like they I'll have tostop at three grocery stores to get all
the needs that I want, Andi'd Trader Joe's they just have everything labeled

(28:03):
so easily with organics, and theyhave most of the stuff except for this
time that me and ad went,it was looking like Hunger Games in there,
Like there is like one crusty onionleft. There is like no organic
tomatoes. It's just I mean,I granted I want on a Sunday.
I don't know when their ship daysare, but it was like crazy crazy,
So we got most of it.We need to not everything. Why

(28:26):
don't I just get my groceries delivered? First of all, we're not in
that tax bracket yet. Second ofall, I've tried it before, getting
my groceries delivered. They will givelike, let's say I want avocados,
They'll give you like the crusty old, already brown. They don't give a
who. It's like on purpose. They give you the bad groceries when they

(28:47):
pick them out for you. SoI'm wasting, wasting so much food.
These bananas, why are they shriveledand black? Why are my yellow bananas
fully black? So I tried deliveryone time and I got so mad that
I vowed to never do grocery deliversever again. And I know, oh,

(29:10):
well, you just you don't grocerydeliver that stuff. Just buy the
fruits and stuff on your own.I do. That's really all I eat
is vegetables and fruits. Everything elseI pretty much have frozen. So that's
why I have to go out ofmy way and dairy stuff like my yogurts
and things like that for my smoothies. But every day I have a I
have a organic fruit smoothie that Imake at home off a neutribullet that I

(29:33):
stold from my brother when I movedhere to New York City. So I
need to have that every morning atleast get my fruits and vetties in there.
Here's my smoothie recipe. All right, very controversial opinion on this one,
but I do freeze my spinage.I freeze a spinage because I travel
a lot, so I don't knowif it's going to be good when I

(29:56):
get back. Most likely it's goingto be gross and brown and liquid in
the fridge. So I just atthis point, I'm like, fit,
let's just freeze the spinag to seewhat happens. Nothing, nothing happens.
It's fine. Freezing your fruits andvegetables and meats, like never goes bad.
Never goes bad. So I throwsome frozen spinage in there. Okay.

(30:17):
I also freeze my organic baby carrots, organic spinage or organic baby carrots.
I drop about three of them inthere. Okay, my little neutral
bullet cup. And then I getone big chunk of frozen organic mango.
There you go. I get apeach. I get a slice of peach,
frozen peach throwed in there. There'sno organic peaches that's frozen especially,

(30:40):
that's just is what it is.I throw some organic raspberries frozen in there,
maybe three or four of them. One organic strawberry, I want to
say, like eight eight blueberries organic, two black berries organic blackberries. A
wait, okay, I got allthe fruits in there, yes I did.

(31:02):
If I if I'm being a littlewild, I might have found some
organic papaya, but very hard tocome by, very hard to come by
a frozen papaya, so that's rare. I don't. I don't have it
this time. But I get aregular organic banana because and I don't.
I don't freeze those because you needto have something non frozen to make the

(31:25):
smoothie knot turn into like a icyall right, And for me, it's
just easy with the bananas, becauseI'm gonna use one banana every day and
those don't go bad quick. SoI do a whole organic banana, a
whole thing. I put some organicvanilla almond milk in there. I put

(31:47):
some cashew organic yogurt, like maybelike a tablespoon or two. I squeeze
a whole bunch of raw honey, not a whole bunch, maybe like half
a tablespoon. And then I putsome chai seeds, some chechia, some
cheese seeds in there, all right, maybe like a tea spoon or two.

(32:09):
And I put some ground flax seedsin there. Okay, get that
fiber upsis another controversial opinion. Awhole raw egg. And I got this
from Ama. My al would eatthat. She's the one that told me
to just put a raw egg inthere. It's it's getting your broke protein
up and you can't even taste theegg. So I crack in a extra

(32:30):
large organic egg and that's my breakfast. Smooth you that up, baby,
And then I make coffee. Ihave a coffee machine that I finessed.
I finessed that coffee machine one day. I might tell you how, but
it's too soon to tell you rightnow. I don't want to get got

(32:51):
so I'm not telling you how.But I definitely finessed a very expensive coffee
machine that I carried across New YorkCity. That's a story. That's actually
a huge story because that actually ledto my Appa having a seizure, and
not a seizure, a stroke,a mini stroke. That's the whole story.

(33:14):
I think. Give me, giveme some more time, and I'll
tell you the story of that incident. But yeah, I blend my coffee.
The beans all gets grinded in there. I put some cinnamon, I
put some nutmeg, and I putsome honey in my black coffee and don't
put any milk in there. Andthat's my coffee order. And then I
bet get a big old glass water, and that is my morning routine.

(33:36):
I am sipping on a smoothie coffeeand water as I'm doing my face.
Welcome to my coffee, to mymorning routine. So yeah, that's the
situation with that. A good oldsix minutes of talking about my smoothie.
Hope he enjoyed it. But yeah, we did our grocery shopping, went
to my house. That was Sunday, and we just Oh. I relaxed

(33:58):
for the rest of my Sunday.I think we got home around eight.
I relaxed. I started on mypuzzle, and Adi she she went to
a concert with some of her friendsthat she has out here, and she
was out in the town. Girlis her first night in New York City
and she's gonna live it up.And I have to work Monday morning,
so I'm gonna comfortably stay in andpuzzle alone. And I got a lot

(34:21):
done on my puzzle now. ProducerDavid, my one of my BFFs here
at work. He for Christmas thisyear, last year, actually last year,
got me a puzzle of Crystal's Nightcap, a Crystal's Nightcap puzzle. And
this you see my cover photo whereveryou listen to Crystals Nightcap, look at
my cover photo. It's also thephoto on my Instagram at Crystals Nightcap.

(34:45):
It is the same colors. Itis the same colors. This is the
hardest puzzle. This is like expertmode puzzle, a thousand pieces. I've
been putting it off and putting itoff and putting it off. But it's
now officially spooky season. It's cominginto fall. Like Cuddle vibes cuddle season,
and my man does not live here. My boyfriend doesn't live here,
so I'm going to be spending alot of time inside because you're a little

(35:07):
afraid of the cold. And Idecided to know what spooky season. Let's
get a jumphead start. I startedon my puzzle and it's very hard.
I mean, the border is solidwhite. The border of my puzzle is
white. So I started it andI continued last night and I already got
the whole border done, solid white. So hard, so hard, but

(35:31):
okay, So that was part ofmy Sunday night, and then yesterday was
Monday. I don't schedule anything onMondays. I don't schedule interviews, I
don't schedule meetings. Monday's is myonly day to not do anything and just
reset and get to work at ontime and even a little early if I
have to record commercials and stuff. But I make sure that I don't have

(35:51):
anything on Mondays because that's really theonly day I get to sleep in.
Monday's is the only day I getto sleep in. But it's also a
blessing. I mean, I wakeup for the Lord on Sundays, and
that really does do a lot forme, I need to. I'm actually
was put on the schedule for afew Sundays, and my schedule manager asked

(36:13):
if that was okay, and Iwas like, I will if I have
to, but can you put meon Sunday morning instead, because Saturday morning
instead, because I have church atthat same time. And she's like,
oh, yeah, totally. Shewas totally cool about She's like, yeah,
no, no, no problem, like I wouldn't want you to miss
that. Yes, I'll put youSaturday mornings instead. I'm like, oh,
thank you. And I have todo Saturday mornings anyway. So I

(36:34):
was supposed to be off this weekend, but that just that's never gonna happen.
I'm never gonna be off in NewYork City. I'm never gonna be
off. And you know me,like, if I'm off, I'm probably
seeing my family or traveling somewhere forwork or something. So and that's okay,
that's a good problem to have.I'm blessed. I'm too blessed to
stress. But yeah, I wouldhave been. I really wanted to be

(36:57):
off this Saturday because we had thesoup kitchen at church, so I was
going to get up early and dothe soup kitchen, but they we were
really down with people at my jobright now, so they did need me
anyways to work. So what happenedwas I couldn't do the soup kitchen.
I was just on a Saturday shift. And that's fine. My Saturday shifts
are chill. I like them.I liked I like being on air by
myself here at ZE one hundred. So it's not it's not a problem.

(37:19):
It's not a problem, like itwould be better if I got weekends off.
I really hope one day I willbe able to at least have two
days off a week, hopefully, hopefully. But it's okay, you know,
it's not the worst. I havea cool job, so I can't
even complain, you know what I'msaying. I just mentally like, I
know I would really benefit a lothaving two days off, but it is
what it is. So then andI always complain. I always talk about

(37:40):
that and say how that's a struggle, but it is what it is.
And then yes, that's why Monday'sit's like Mondays, I get in at
twelve thirty and let me do that. So Monday I got up calmly,
I rode my bike to work,I got in, I recorded my commercials,
I recorded some videos that I hadto do and send in and it
was all good. So then afterwork Monday, I didn't have anything crazy,

(38:01):
just recording a few more things, and then I stopped by the store
to grab something and then I wasgonna cook dinner for me and Audio.
On Audio, I was actually gonnabring some stuff for dinner too, but
she's still getting used to the trainsand the system here in New York,
so she was kind of late. But there was no problem because I was
able to make some honey chicken spicedto chicken oven roasted, and then I

(38:28):
made a little caprici salad with tomatoes, avocado, masaa ella, cheese and
basil, and I drizzled some balsomicvinegar up and they are glaze balsamic glaze
in there, and girl out,I was up and popping. Dinner was
good. I mean, the chickenwas I could work on my chickens skills.

(38:52):
But I felt like a little wifebecause Audio I got home. I'm
like, I went to work,I made dinner, and let's have some
dinner. So we got to relaxand spend dinner together. And then I
continued on my puzzle, and thenher and I started brainstorming for cring Gernaz
because I'm recording my cringe Naz tomorrowmorning with our digital team and I wanted

(39:13):
to knock out all my cringe Nazfor the rest of the years. So
we have hilarious cringe ornaw topics. We have all October spooky season topics,
November thanks Eaving topics, December,Christmas and New Year's topics. They are
so good. And then towards theend of our cringer na my boyfriend Robbie
called me. He faced time tome, and so Robbie was helping with

(39:34):
some of them and he came upwith some funny ones too. Honestly,
we have such good cringeernas, I'mgoing to try to knock out two a
week, so we have two Cringernazza week because honestly, they are so
funny and there's so many good holidaytopics that we could get too. So
I'm just gonna talk to our digitalteam and be like, you know what,
love that we do this consistently oncea week, but there's just so
many things. When they crank out, we're gonna popet for two. So

(39:54):
hopefully they'll be okay with that. We'll see what happens, all right.
So that was as night, okay, And then I need to tell you
about the spicy ramen noodle go onmy Instagram at Lack Crystal Litle Sass.
I'm out here minding my own business. This was a Saturday after MISA,
but before I went to go drickwith my friends. I was eating some
spicy ramen soup with some chopsticks, and a whole ass drop of spicy ramen

(40:22):
soup got into my eyeball. Soof course my instinct is just to grab
my phone and start recording, whichI did, and it was so painful.
So like I had kept my eyeclosed with the spicy noodle ramen soup
in the drop in my eyeball andI just kept it there. And then

(40:45):
when I opened my eye and thetear came down, most of it went
out, so that was good. Most of it came out that one.
It was really painful. It reallyreally stung alet. I thought that I
was going to die and I haveto call an ambulance. But after like
five minutes it act wasn't that bad. And I was getting comments from my
friends later on that my eye lookedreally red and irritated, but it really

(41:07):
did not feel that that bad.So we definitely survived that catrostrophe. And
then, yeah, it's pretty muchall of the drama that's been going on
in my life. Really. Ihad the amazingest time at the gala.
I'm so happy that I got togo to church and see some of my
friends I haven't seen in a longtime. I'm happy that I got my

(41:28):
groceries out the way with my bffa do Right now, she is panicking
because she cannot put my sleeper sofaback together, and it's it's a tough
one. I'm not gonna lie. It's not a regular futon, it's not
a regular sleeper. You have tobe really specific with it. And I
think she's like breaking it right now, which some I can't fix. So
hopefully if she doesn't get it togetherwhen I get home, I could fix

(41:50):
it. But she's really stress, poor thing trying to put it together.
I feel really really bad for her. I wish I was there to help
her, but my mom has gotto bring in the bacon and I'll see
her in a few hours. Sothat's pretty much of that on that.
Other than that, the rest ofthe week is pretty busy filming Cringe n
Not Tomorrow. I have a breakfastwith one of my coaches on Thursday morning
that I'm heading straight out after myshow Thursday to go to home. It's

(42:13):
flying into the Bay because I havea wedding Friday for one of my buddymos
and Zaddie and I are driving fourhours, which I cannot wait. This
is our first long road trip togetherand I can't wait to be with him.
My whole family's going too, butwe're all taking different cars, so
it's going to be a little chaoticfor different reasons because people have to come
back at different times. But yeah, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I

(42:37):
also took Monday off Columbus Day,and then I'll be back Monday night,
probably the Red Eye, come backTuesday to New York City. So next
foreme I see you. I'm gonnatell you how the wedding way, because
it's gonna be crazy knowing my wholefamily is going to be there. We're
celebrating my bff Alissa's birthday too.My chame Fathers are coming through for a
little bit so we can hang outand celebrate with them. It's gonna be

(42:59):
so so much fun with my family. I'm so thankful that we get to
go and spend time together. Ican't wait to come back and tell and
report with you everything that's going on. But that's pretty much that on that.
I hope that you enjoyed tonight's episodeof Crystal's Nightcap, thank you for
listening to another one, and Ican't wait to be with you next week.
Let's do our daily motivator for today. This one's called Encourage yourself.

(43:24):
Encourage yourself. Discouragement is a choice, not a foregone conclusion. Inspiration and
encouragement are better, more empowering choices, and they're just as readily available to
you. The realities of life arenot affected by your attitude, but you
are, and the way you seethings affects how well you deal with them.

(43:45):
When circumstances are not in your favor, it's more important than ever for
your own outlook to be in yourfavor. Give yourself an advantage by being
a persistently positive influence in your life. Give yourself an advantage by being a
persistently positive influence in your life.If you've had the good fortune to be

(44:05):
encouraged by someone else. You knowhow helpful it could be. And even
when there's no one around to offeryou encouragement, you are fully capable of
encouraging yourself. Think of the bestthat can happen. Then tap into the
energy of those thoughts, hardness thatenergy, and take action in the direction
of your desired results. Encouraging yourselfis not a magic bullet to solve all
your problems, yet it's a lotbetter than doubting, than doubling down on

(44:29):
discouragement. The fact is your attitudecan make a difference, so by all
means, use it to your advantage. Oh I love this. Let's think
of a current in the moment, real life example of what's going on here.
I just told you that my bffAudiom, who's at my house,
is having the biggest struggle ever withputting my couch back together. That is
a hard couch. If you don'tknow the instructions on how to put the

(44:49):
sleeper back or take it out,it's probably ten at ten you're not going
to know how to do it.And we were on FaceTime right now before
I read the Daily Motivator for likefifteen minutes and it was a struggle and
she was getting very frustrated. Shesaid, I'm gonna put the phone down,
I'm gonna drink some water, andi'm gonna call you right back.
And I was like, you knowwhat, it's a couch. If something
gets broken, I could. Iknow how to fix things, and there's

(45:10):
no problem and we're going to befine. So just right now, before
I said any of this, shecalled me and she was able to extend
it back all the way out, which was easy because once she extended it
all the way out, then Icould teach her how to put it back
in, and she did it.So instead of me stressing about that and

(45:31):
worrying about it, I was like, you know, a worst case scenario,
it gets a little broken and Ican fix it. Like this is
so true. And I for somany years and for so long was always
worrying and stressing about things and alwayslooking at the negative sides. But it
is true. The realities of ourlife are not affected by your attitude.

(45:54):
You are because anything that happens, you have the control one hundred percent to
look out it in a positive ordifferent aspect to make it more positive for
you. Anything, anything like ifthere's anything even negative that happens, I'm

(46:14):
just like, well, you knowme, because I've been religious and I've
been getting very spiritual lately. SoI just say, that's just not what
God wants for me right now,or God had another plan for me,
or God didn't want that right nowfor me. Like that's I put it
all on God's time. You couldput it on your own time. It's
just not what the world wants forme right now. Is just not what
the plan is and the journey isfor me right now. If something negative

(46:37):
is happening, you can really likeeven with grief, I've been dealing with
tough things in my family. Likeluckily in my Audita is doing a lot
better. I was really struggling lastweek and she's doing so much better.
She decided to get back on hermeds, so we're all feeling so much
better about that. But even liketelling my brother, like listen, AMA's

(46:57):
journey has been this and how weare to have her still and to have
all the memories we have, that'sreally the only way we can look at
it, because we can we canput pit ourselves in this dark, twisted
hole of negativity and emptiness and sorrowabout anything. But the more that we

(47:19):
can just look at our reality andgive it a positive cover on it,
that's better for us. So itcan it can manifest in so many different
things in your life. It's easiersaid than done, but once you put
yourself on that positive words, positivethoughts, it becomes more habit. So

(47:42):
now things that I'm like used tofreak out and stress over or oh I
have this, and that I'm morelike, I get to do this,
and that I really hope that thishelped. I hope that mere talking to
you about this and through this helpswith anything that you've just been a little
down and a negative about, becauseit can. I've been in those ruts
and it is really hard, andwe can't go through these things alone.

(48:02):
We need our loved ones to help, or even just me or someone to
tell you that your actual reality isreally heavily impacted by your thoughts and you
have full control over that. Youhave full control over that. Of course,
there are other factors like at clinicaldepression and diseases, mental illnesses,

(48:23):
and those are other things too.I've been depressed, I've been in depression.
I've gone through those things. I'vebeen really really down in the dumps,
and it was really my mom thathelped me, and it was faith
that helped me. It was eatinggood that helped me, and it was
my own thoughts of my own realities. And I really hope that this helps
you. We're all going through things. We're not going through them alone.

(48:45):
We're all here for you. Ifyou ever need help with anything, you
know where to find me. OnEverything I'm at Lack, Crystaltal says,
