Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello to your beautiful heart. Hula Hoop.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
It's at Crystal deal saze Bag with another episode of
Crystal's Nightcap. Tonight, we don't meet Tricia Padus. Let's let
Zaddy choose what we do for a day? Who found
the Golden Easter Egg?
Speaker 1 (00:11):
And guests? Who joins the show?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Hey, Hey, sit bag, Relax, It's Crystal's Nightcap.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
So much happened last week. I want to get into
the biggest news stories. Number One, Minecraft, the Minecraft Movie
became the highest grossing film of twenty twenty five. It
had eighty million in its second week. I mean, it
was so crazy and the funniest part about Minecraft is
that people were acting up in the theaters. Now, for me,
I've never played Minecraft. I don't really know about Minecraft
(00:48):
my soul. But you know Alex, he does not play Minecraft.
He plays Fortnite, my bonus son the Wrizzler. He also
is into Fortnite, not into Minecraft. Actually he kind of
isn't to mind or is there roadblocks one of those two?
But yeah, I don't know much about it. All I
know is that I am a fan of Jack Black.
He is a very entertaining actor. He reminds me of
(01:11):
my brother Junior a lot. I'm gonna be honest with you,
like your weird uncle Jack Black my brother. That is
definitely a good description of my brother Junior. So seeing
that Jack Black is I wouldn't really say he's making
a comeback because he's never left but got picked to
do this movie is so adorable because not only are
(01:32):
people our age millennials in love with him and happy
to see him on the big screen again, but the
younger crowd that does play Minecraft know a boy Minecraft,
They're able to see him too. The fact that people
are bringing live chickens into the theaters is so funny
to me. The videos that are going crazy on TikTok
popcorn being thrown everywhere, which I don't agree with. I
(01:52):
don't think it's nice to make messes like that in
movie theaters. I have been guilty of throwing popcorn in
the theater before a whole bunch, maybe a little less
than a handful. It's not right, it's not fair. It's
not just to the people that work and have to
clean up after you. My dad always would tell me.
Bobby's always like, just because people clean up after you,
doesn't mean you have to make a mess. You don't
have to make their jobs harder if everybody was making
(02:15):
a mess, and how awful.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Would it be to have that job?
Speaker 2 (02:17):
So I do agree with that, but I think it
is a moment, it's a cultural moment Minecraft that we're
gonna look back and think, dang, when has there been
a movie that made this much noise? I mean, I
feel like for the Wicked movie, people were coming in
costumes and singing along and then having the sing along version.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
That was fun.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
But Minecraft brings it to a whole new level and
I'm obsessed. I think it's hilarious. Everybody's been watching it.
I haven't watched it yet. I was asking producer Lissa
because she went to go watch it, and she said,
I wouldn't say the movie was good. I would say
the movie was fun. It was fun and it was
a fun experience to watch everyone in the theater get
geeked and the little kids. But I asked her if
(02:57):
I needed to watch it, and she said no, So
am I gonna watch it? It? Probably not, I think,
since my our bonus kid already watched it, and then
the duck hasn't asked to watch it, and I sort of,
you know, I think we're cool off that.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Did you watch the Minecraft movie?
Speaker 2 (03:13):
What do you think?
Speaker 1 (03:15):
I know that the number one.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Top grossing video game movie is Super Mario Bros. So
Minecraft has a little bit to catch up to that
to be the biggest video game movie of all time.
But it still is doing great thing and breaking records,
so that's good for Minecraft. Now there are lights spoilers.
If you haven't seen Black Mirror, maybe skip five minutes.
I love Black Mirror. I do know there are some
(03:38):
problematic episodes that maybe get a little so spicy and sexual,
but this season I think it did.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
A really good job.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
I was obsessed with episode one Rashida Jones. I have
a huge crush on her, so seeing her was everything.
The whole theme of a healthcare subscription based situation had
us gagged. I watched it with me, Zaddy, my brother Junior,
(04:06):
my Pamle Hector, and we were flabbergasted.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Episode two was really good. Two with the.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Ex middle school friend that was blackmailing the girl and
had that weird thing to change reality. That was awesome.
That Esa Ray episode I thought was very original. I've
never seen something like that before. I thought it was
interesting that we had the love of fair situation in
there and when you get too swept up into an
(04:35):
alternate reality.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
That was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
I don't like watching the one about the star Trek
kind of one. That one is a little confusing for me,
so I can't really get on with that one. But
the one with the weird tech nerd that was obsessed
with his video game with the little guys, Wow, just wow,
especially the ending very wild. And then I feel like
(05:04):
I like the one with where you hop into the photographs.
I liked the interesting twists and turns in it. I
thought that the ending was going to be a little better.
I heard the ending was super good. I wasn't very
impressed with the ending. But all in all, I feel
as though Blackimir really did the thing this season. They
went off. It wasn't hyper sexual. They were really making
(05:25):
us think. The first episode came out with a huge
bang and it's a huge conversation piece. I really like
how Blackmir is just a hyper.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Modern reality.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
It's just a comment. It's just a hyper commentary what
is actually happening now? A lot of these things it could,
in some capacity maybe be real, which I think is
the eeriest part of this entire series, So blackmir is
a win. Where do you think did you watch? Are
you still waiting? Did you like it? Did you not
wear some of your face for episodes? You come in
(06:01):
on Snapchat at La Crystal Rosas. Something else everybody was
talking about is Coachella this month. Coachella is always a
thing I was wondering about because obviously I lived here
in New York City for a few years, and I
was asking producer Lissa and my girl Jules, do y'all
hear in the East Coast and from and bred in
the East Coast care about Coachella or do I just
(06:22):
care a little extra more because it was a big
thing for us in California. And they say no, that
they still want to know what's going on with Coachella,
and that it still is the thing even though it's
so far away from the tri State, that is still
a hot topic because all the celebrities are out there
and all the influencers are out there. And so I
was hitting that on my show a little bit, what
was going down in Coachella. It was interesting. A lot
(06:45):
of people are complaining. I mean, I don't see anything
that has changed from when I was there.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
It is crazy.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
They took away the petticabs, remember the pettycab drivers that. Okay,
maybe you don't remember because you haven't been. But I
was blessed to go to Coachella. I went in twenty fourteen.
I think I was maybe twenty nineteen years old. Nineteen
years old, and then I went again in twenty sixteen.
(07:12):
When I went in twenty sixteen, I was already part
of the JV Show officially, which was really fun. But
I was in college.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
I was broke. We went car camping.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
It was.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
It was bad, but when you're that young and broke,
you don't care. I mean, you're camping with your friends.
You're in the desert and dust all of your face
and it's grimy, but you're broken, you don't care, and
you're drunk the whole time.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
So it was it was fun. It was a good time.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
I remember when I first went in twenty fourteen, I
thought to myself, I'm never coming back here again unless
it's with the exact same group of girls. I'm so thankful.
My best day at the time, Zoe. She invited me
with all of her college friends. It was and they
were such a good group of girls and fun group
of girls, and they had older sisters that had done
it before and already were going, so we.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Somewhat had a little help.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
But then I got invited again in twenty sixteen with
the exact same group, and I'm just like Dan, we
running it back then, we running it back. Yeah, I
would not go back again unless I had VIP this
that and pop in Airbnb. I don't even honestly, I
don't really know if I would go again, because anyone
(08:25):
that I would really want to see at a concert
or a show I have seen already, or I could
see at an arena and I don't have to be
in the desert somewhere and try to figure out ride
shares ubers, how am I gonna eat? Yeah, it's just
kind of a hot mess. I feel like it's a
good thing for when you're twenty, but then after you're
a little older. I mean, I'm no shade of people.
(08:47):
Let still go. It's just I don't really need to
do that. I don't do drugs, I don't drink like
that anymore. So it just doesn't really seem like I
feel as though you should do Coachella once in your life.
If and and maybe even twice if you have a
good time. But I know there's people that go every
single year like that's their thing. But I personally want
to go again. But it is a good time when
(09:09):
you're younger or you know, you know what, there's no
age when you're older too.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
You know, each to their own.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
But just for me, it was good that I wanted
when I was younger. I'm very happy and thankful that
I experienced it. I had a really good time with
the girls that I want with. I feel like you
really got to know the people that you're with, because
if you are going to Coachella and there's just drama,
there's just cheap people and this and that, it's gonna
be a hot mess, right, just like any kind of trip.
So Kochell obviously has been around for a very long time.
(09:36):
It is as we call the influencer Olympics. So it's
funny seeing those influencer moments. It's funny saying which celebrities
are going. We saw Kylie there with Tim. We saw
my bestie Harry Daniels doing everything, singing to everyone.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
We saw the Bieber's.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
There, right, and some people were judging Justin Bieber by
the way he was dancing and smoking. I do have
questions about that video where he was surely and a
little hunchback. I don't know why, and no, I know
he has lime disease. The guy has lime disease, so
that could be why he was probably not feeling good.
What trying to do is best. And I thought it
(10:13):
was cute seeing Kylie and Timothy make out for a second.
She looked like she was living her best life. Lady
Gaga in the stage was probably so euphork for so
many people. I would have immediately ran and stood out
for hours to see Lady Gaga and be barricade for that.
Benson Boone tore it down with his backflips and bringing
out that man that plays a guitar for in Queen
(10:36):
the band Queen. Not a lot of people knew his
name at the time or who he was, And honestly,
if I was there seeing Benson Boone, I wouldn't really
know who it was either. But if he introduced him
saying but well from Queen, that would have been niconic.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
So what were some of your favorite moments watching the
Coachella lore.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
There were so many influencers that were dragging Coachella complaining
about the petty caps, that they just had to walk everywhere,
that the walks were so long that VIP wasn't really VIP.
That the artist bands are oversaturated now and everyone can
get an artist band and it's not even that exclusive anymore.
(11:16):
I mean, these are all, you know, rich people problems.
It's just but at the same also, the food there,
even when I was, even when I went, the food
was wild expensive. I'm so thankful because when we went,
we packed peanut butter and jelly jars and bags of
bread to eat every single day. And my dad, you know,
(11:36):
it's make gunnles. We got to eat right, right. So
I remember my dad because that's all girl. I was
working at pasta Pelican. I was making minimum wage as
a server at a restaurant. I remember my dad was like, yeah, like,
what are you guys gonna eat over there? I was like,
we're all packing peanut butter and jelly sand which is
He said, no, no, no, here's some money. Here's some money.
My dad like handed me a wat of cash. I'm
so freaking thankful my dad handed me a lot of cash.
(11:57):
He's the best. If you know my dad, I don't
know though he he does a thing. He handed me
a wat of cash and was like, you, you know,
you go go eat whatever you need to eat. Eat good, Okay,
I don't want you to eat peanut butter and jelly
all day, all right, not my princess.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
You're not gonna eat. You eat whatever you want.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
So I remember I would wake up hell early and
sneak away and go get like a breakfast burrito, like
a eighteen dollar breakfast burrito. And I would just come
back and they're like, are you want toy breakfast with us?
I was like, no, I'm good, I'm gone chilling.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
So that was that.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yeah, the food is not expensive. It's like a monopoly.
It's a festival in the desert. Of course they're gonna
charge Hello crazy for food. And people are putting their
wristbands on lay away.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Young kids for the most part, that don't have their
mommy and daddy's credit card. They cannot afford those tickets.
I think those tickets are more expensive than ever. I
remember when it was around my time the Coachell, back
in my day. Back in my day, Coachella tickets were
maybe four hundred ish dollars for those three day passes.
A little over that if you include carpet camping and
(13:00):
all the things, and that's a lot of money if
you're making eight dollars an hour Aposta Pelican, Right, So
people are dragging that people buy Coachella passes on layway
or they make payment plans. But let's get out the
average age of people that go to Coachella. It's usually
younger kids, right. And again, if you don't have your
(13:21):
mommy and daddy's credit card, you're gonna have to make
payments on that stuff. So shout out to you if
you went to Coachella living it up. The fomo was
real for some people, not too real for me. I'm
totally fine watching the clips on TikTok. But there, you know,
it is a cultural pop culture moment, so we'll see
what happens. We kind of have mini Coachella's. We have
(13:43):
gove Ball over here. You don't camp out or anything.
It's just it ends early too. I think go Ball
ends out like ten thirty eleven here in Flushing, Queens.
So I've been to that, which is pretty fun. It's
a little more like on the urban side. For example,
we had Travis Scott and Sexy Read and they still
have some of that at Coachella, but we had Carlie
(14:05):
Ray Jempson last year, which was fun that I got
to see at Goveball. So here over here it's gove Ball.
It's the same promoters and everything. So that was the
Coachella lure of it all. Did you see that Amanda
Bynes is officially on OnlyFans. She's getting rid of her
face tattoo with a little heart man Amanda Bynes. I
(14:28):
was so in love and obsessed with her. Amanda Please
dot Com was one of the first websites that ever
went on shout to my opinion one hector. It was
Amathia LA's house in San Jose and he had a
computer and I went on there Amanda Please dot com.
I wanted to be Amanda Bynes. I loved her so much,
from all that to the Amanda Show, to her movies,
(14:52):
and it was just really sad to see everything that
happened after then, especially recently. I have so many questions.
I would love to have a conversation with her. I
want to know what went on, and I'm happy to
see that she, I suppose is trying to connect with
(15:14):
her fans. That's what she's saying about OnlyFans, sickos, creepies.
Don't think that it's anything crazy you're going to see
on there, nothing scandalous, She's saying. I'm doing only fans
to chat with my fans through DMS. I will not
be posting any sleazy content. I'm excited to join. So
(15:35):
for me, it feels like her bands are down, which
would make sense because how much because children From what
I heard child stars and actors, and Josh Peck has
spoken out about this. From Drake and Josh that child
actors do not get royalties on TV shows, so they
(15:55):
do not get money for recurrent episodes or anything like that.
But also, the Amanda Show doesn't really recur I haven't.
I personally haven't seen it on nick. I think Nick
has does does. Nickolo didn't have a throwbackstation, a throwback
TV television station that they play that stuff. I don't
think so. I even wonder if you can watch the
(16:19):
Amanda Show and all that on streaming platforms. I'm sure
that you could. However, Amanda Bines wouldn't be getting any
royalties off that. I feel like the only types of
royalties Amanda Bvines would be getting is from her movie rules,
which were semi big movie roles. One of my favorite
movies ever, Big Fat Liar with her and Frankie Muniez
(16:40):
who I Frankie Munaz who I had a huge crush
on growing up, Big Fat Liar you had She's she's
all that right, or she's not the man, she's the
man some other ones. She had another show and she
got older or that show. I don't know if she
got royalties from that, but clearly, if you're a little
(17:03):
older than me and you're on only fans, you need
that cash. So at the end of the day, again,
like I said, I'm happy that she's doing this to
connect with her fans. I just want to sit down interview.
I want to know what's going on, what happened? Where
was the disconnect? From what I learned, she had a
(17:23):
really toxic and tumultuous relationship with her parents, which is
really heartbreaking. Other than that, we don't know anything else
about Amanda. So Amanda, please can you let us in.
I would totally be subscribing to her only Fans if
it wasn't fifty dollars a month. Your girl is out
here saving her coins for a wedding. So I'm in
(17:45):
the planning stages. I cannot be spending fifty ZADDI will
end me if he finds out that I'm spending fifty
dollars on Amanda Bynes' OnlyFans. So unfortunately I cannot. But
let's all pray for Amanda. I know she's trying to
connect with her fans, which is good. I know she's
(18:05):
getting rid of that. I just did not like that
face tattoo on her because she's such a pretty girl.
She's such a pretty girl and she doesn't do that stuff.
So all good vibes, all good energy to Amanda Bines. Please,
we needed Amanda Bynes come back. We needed your only fans.
Wasn't what I was picturing for her. But if this
is what makes her happy, then we are supporting that.
(18:26):
We are supporting her. Now, let's talk about China real quick.
Why did that trigger you? Was that energy with China?
Are you out of China or something? China is unproblematic
to me. I know that they have politics that we
don't really believe in. But if you don't believe in
the Chinese politics, and why are buying it from China,
(18:46):
let's talk about that. No, I want to talk about
the Chinese robots because for the first time ever in
Beijing they hosted the world's first half marathon featuring humanoid
robots that were competing along side human runners, which.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Is really crazy.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
One of the stand up performers was the robot tig
gong Ultra, developed by this Beijing Innovation Center in human robotics,
which is crazy. Now, don't worry, you are not going
to be again got by a humanoid robot running after
you anytime too soon. The fastest human finished the race
(19:25):
in an hour and two minutes, but that robot I
was talking about, tang gong Ultra. It finished in two
hours and forty minutes, so almost three times as slow
as the human, So that is still a major accomplishment.
Shout out to you, tang gong Ultra. You did that
the first and the fastest humanoid robot to date. But girl,
(19:50):
if you are in the running community, you better skip
a skadatle fast because it's going to be a matter
of time before these robots start taking your gold medals
and you're going to be very, very jealous. That is
going to be the conversation about sports. It's not going
to be about Genitalias and sports. It's going to be
about robots and if robots are allowed to compete with
us or not. So China doing that with the robots,
I think that's pretty cool. I love the advancement of
(20:13):
technology and all that. I want the robot to run
and pick up my door dash order. That's what I
want these Chinese robots to be doing. To go run
and do them onn Tha Loo, for me to run
and get my groceries, to go run after my niece
that just stole my phone to take selfies again. So
that is what's going on. Something else going on in
(20:34):
China is they're going crazy with the drones in a
good way. Well I want to say good, but just
a different way. For the first time in China, they
debuted drones in the formation of a QR code, which
isn't that crazy. Now when you scan that QR code,
people were able to download a video game. And now
we're saying this is an innovative method that could shape
(20:56):
the future of advertising.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
The future is here. The future is here.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Imagine looking up and there's just a whole bunch of
drones everywhere and you can't even see the sky. And
now you have to pay extra taxes to live somewhere
in drone ad free areas. That's what's gonna happen. We're
gonna start having to pay extra. I know I can
already see this. We're gonna start having to pay extra
(21:21):
just to see the bear sky and to just live
in drone free areas, or there's gonna be drone surcharges.
And certain it's just it's gonna get crazy, It's gonna
get wild.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
It's kind of cool, kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
But also I didn't get consent to have the sky
blocked for me. And is the sky now gonna be
a privilege? Is it gonna be privileged just to look
at the bear sky? Who knows?
Speaker 1 (21:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
More with technology, CHATCHYPT do use chat Gypt a lot?
Speaker 1 (21:54):
I why did chat Gypt? Yeah? I was I thought
that I like said it wrong.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
For a second, I actually use it more than Google.
Now I don't really Google, I don't Safari. I go
straight to chat GPT for stuff. And this is really funny.
Open Eye that owns Chat GBT is saying that please
and thank yous to chat GBT is reportedly costing them
millions of dollars. Are you polite and respectful when you
(22:19):
ask questions.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Because I am.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
I don't know why, but I am, and I don't
need to be. I could cuss out my chat GBT
if I wanted to. It's not real to AI. It
has feelings, But.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
I feel like I try to be polite and I
want to be nice, and I feel like, one day,
if AI turns into this serious force, they're gonna they're
gonna look around, they're gonna judge us, They're gonna be
like this person was always polite to me, and this
person was always rude in demanding and said bad words
to me everyone one once in a while, And I
want to be on the good side of AI, like
I want, like, why do I feel the need to
(22:54):
be a pick me to AI? I don't know, but
that I feel like that's kind of why because I'm
scared because I know that it's smart than me, and
I'm afraid of things that are smarter than me.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
So that's where I stand with that.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
I don't know what kind of lang would you be
using to your chat GBT, but open eye is saying please,
stop saying please and thank you because CHATCHBT doesn't need it.
It's just AI, you don't need to be polite to it.
But are you gonna be nice to your robot? I
remember seeing a video where there was a little robot person,
a small robot person, and people were picking on it
and pushing it to the floor and it was able
(23:28):
to stand back up, but everyone was looking around laughing
at the person that's pushing down the robot. Just they're
sin thinking, Okay, I know it's an inanimant object. I
know it's not technically real and doesn't have a human conscious,
but I just feel.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Like that's just mean. Why we gotta do that? Why
we gotta do that? Why we got to abuse robots?
Speaker 4 (23:48):
Like?
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Who hurt you that you have to punch down on
a little romot droid robot droid? I don't know, but yeah,
that's what's going on in the tech world. And some
other noteworthy headlons. Tiger King's Joe Exotic marries his fellow
prison in Meate while serving twenty one year sentence for
the murder plot. He's saying, me, my husband, George Flores Maldonado.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
They how was that? AI? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
I don't think someone this wedding cannot be real, because
there are photos that Joe Exotic posted that I think
are ai because they have a beautiful pink and white
flower wreath around them, They're wearing tuxedos, they have a
little bittoneer, they have matching hats. Where in what prison
(24:36):
would let people get married to each other there like that?
Did you see this photo? It's crazy? What is a
good looking guy? Joe Exotic always picked good looking guys.
I mean, I know some people think he's weird, but
he's always had some fine men that fall in love
with him. Somehow, I do not get it. You cannot
(24:57):
end Joe Exotic. He is a true entertainer, even from
per in Was it fair what he did to Carole Baskin? No,
you know that I love Carole Baskin. I stand with
her by her from the beginning. I told everybody that
Carole Baskin has all the haters and they think that
she killed her husband because they were hating on her
because people hate seeing a strong independent woman.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
And when I had my.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Conversation with Carole Baskin, she was so great to me,
and the only thing that wo One cared about was
saving the cats. Every question we asked Carole Baskin, she
wrapped it around to go back to saving the cats.
That's her mission in life. And I know that she's
my twin. I know people think and say that I
look like her, and that is a compliment.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
If there anyone in the world I would look like,
it's Carole Baskin. Yep, she did not kill her husband.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Those are haters.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
I don't know how I got on that tangent, but yeah, yeah,
I don't agree with what Joe Exotic did to her.
I don't agree with the videos he posted. I don't
agree how he tried to fame her, but she also
felt that he was exploiting the cat. And if someone's
out here exploiting the cats, Carole Baskin, she will find
you and she will metaphorically end you. But it looks
like Joe Exotic is living his best life. He still
(26:10):
has his wrap around beard, go tea situation. He's smiling
with his new little hobby. So he's going to do
Joe Exotic things. Good for you, Joe Exotics, stay happy,
stay blessed. Thank you for entertaining us. Thank you for
entertaining us all the way in prison. Free him twenty
one years twenty one years after he was on top
(26:33):
of the world with that Netflix documentary that is crazy.
All love to everybody involved, every party involved, I'll love
to you.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Have we done enough?
Speaker 2 (26:43):
Should we get into my cave, Crystal's cave where we
talk about me and my life, my crevices? I think, so, Hello,
who's in here?
Speaker 1 (26:51):
It's so dark? Ew, what's dripping? I can step on something.
You're now inside Crystal's cave.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Guess who's here in the other conference room working their
little petuity off?
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Zady is here. Zaddy's in town. Sorry, I'm a day late.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
We literally just flew in yesterday morning, so we were
so exhausted when I get off. But maybe he'll make
a little surprise appearance. I think I teased that in
last week's episode that Zaddi was going to be here
and we'll see if we can wrangle him. In last
week talked, he said that he apologizes to you and
to me for crashing out last time when he was
supposed to be on the engagement episode that was so
(27:34):
extra and uncalled for, but that he was open to
be an invited on again. And I said, sure, let's
do it next week, and he said yes, but now
that we're here, I don't know. I haven't brought it
up to him. He's working for the next half hours,
so so we will see if we do get a
little special appearance from him or not. But let's get
into what happened last a week with Mike Queen Tricia Padus.
(27:57):
She is on her era's tour, which is beautiful. She's
going through the eras of Tricia Patus. If you are
a Trisha fan, you know there are many of them.
If you are not, you need to get into it.
She is one of the longest standing YouTubers. She definitely
has a problematic, cancelable past. She said and done questionable
things that she acknowledges and she apologizes for and she regrets.
(28:24):
So she's just kind of someone that's storyline I really
admire because even though I haven't really gone through a
cancelation like that or said so many crazy things that
I regret, like on the level as she has, she
has stood up from that, she has survived through the ashes,
and now she is living her best life. She was
on Broadway last year. She had a beautiful Christmas show
(28:46):
that I was so blessed to go with last year.
Thanks to my homie Harry Daniels when he came in.
Harry Daniels is a massive TikToker. You've probably seen him.
He goes up to celebrities and artists and he sings
to them. Some people question his talents, which I think
is very foul, because Harry is very talented, a parson
and a very hilarious person. He is so bold and brave.
(29:09):
I've had him in a few times for interviews and
we just became best friends of me. Him and his
beautiful sister, love young girl, and we all have mutual
love for Tricia Patus. So when she pulled up for
her trishmus show, they invited me as their plus ones.
And then I knew that she was coming back for
her tour, so I asked him if we were going
(29:29):
to go, and we applotted to go together. So I
meet up with them at Radio City Music Hall. We
get amazing tickets, we get some risk bands, and I'm
geeked out because at trishmus Here's what happened. This was, yes,
this was November or December, and I'm going with Harry
and we all get certain risk bands and it's raining
(29:53):
crazy that day. It is just raining and pouring at nighttime,
and I have to get up really early the next
day for an early interview. So the show goes on.
It's amazing, it's beautiful. After the show, everyone's kind of
waiting around and asking Harry for pictures. He has a
lot of fans when we go out, and I was
(30:13):
honestly exhausted, and I also knew how to get up early,
so I told them, thank you so much for bringing
me in when it's good dadd I'll see you guys soon.
Why did I leave early? And they all ended up
going to a meeting greet and hung out with Tricia
Pads backstage, and I was so so sad, and his
sister was like, if.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
You want, I can get you a FaceTime with her.
I'm like, can you?
Speaker 2 (30:32):
So I was able to FaceTime Tricia Paydus and I
just thought to myself, you know what, the time will come,
well I will meet her face to face and it's
totally okay. Thank you guys for the FaceTime. That was amazing.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
So then when I pull up.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
With Harry at a radio city last week, I was thinking,
maybe this is the time I'm going to meet her.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Who knows?
Speaker 2 (30:50):
We get ristbands. So I'm thinking, dang, this is we're
definitely going to meet her after the show.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
So the show, it's great.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
She's doing all of her eras, she has a karaoke
session where she gets requests from fans, and she's just
so funny and a good vibe to watch, and her
messages are just so great of following your dreams and
all the things. And my dream was to meet her.
So here comes the end of the show. Everyone's taking
photos of the Harry YadA, YadA, YadA, same things. We're
asking the ushers, Hey, we have our wristbands, where do
(31:18):
you go for the meet and greet? And they're telling
us there is no meet and greet. There is no
meet and greet, And we're kind of confused. So Harry
texts Tricia, she gets no response, He gets no response.
Texting his other people, we're getting no responses. We're like,
what the heck we're supposed to meet her, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (31:38):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
After some time, we're just thinking, all right, this is enough.
We've been here for forty five minutes. Now, I guess
there may be really is no meet and greet. We
leave and we find out that the meet and greet
was before the show and not after the show, and
we just were not told that. And so for the
second time in a row, I did not get to
meet Tricia Padus. I almost cried. But the good news
(32:02):
is that I was able to get merch for her.
I got myself two of her shirts because I couldn't
decide pretty ser Lyssa is a huge Trisha fan as well,
so I got her merch shirt because she couldn't make
the show. And you know, at least I have a
requorddal from that night. But not being able when am
I gonna finally meet Hurt? When is it gonna happen?
I've been able to meet and work with all types
(32:23):
of artists that I've wanted to Tricia. We've emailed every
single person around her and her team, and she does
not want to do interviews with us at all. She
RELI wants to do interviews with Boeen Yang and she
only wants to be on SNL And it's like, dang, girl,
Like I've I've been there crying all the kitchen floor
with you pull up, please pull up? Why is it
easier for me to get interview with Lead and Gomez?
And it is Tricia padus. Can you explain do you
(32:46):
have answers?
Speaker 1 (32:46):
Because I don't.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
I love her, I love Malibu, I love Little Elvis,
I love Moses. I love Tricia's tavern, Trisha the Fish Tavern.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
I need to get up in there. I need to
get been there.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Someone else that I love is Tricia. Adjacent is a
Tana Mojo. I think they're coming in soon. They're on
tour too, Tanna and Brook for their podcast Canceled. I've
met Tanna before. I think I've shared this before that
I've met her at the Highlight Room in La. I
was with Zaddi, which is so funny. This was just
a few months of us dating, I believe. Yeah, this
(33:22):
was March, the march that we started dating. We were
at the what hotel? Were we at? The Roosevelt Hotel.
I was in La for the Iheartway Do Music Awards.
Him and I went to have brunch at the Highlight
Room and she was just sitting there at a cabana
with all of her friends. Brooke was there, Amari was there.
(33:45):
Ari was there, and I went up to Tanna. I
was like, Tanna, I'm a big fan of yours, Like,
pull up to the iHeart awards and ah blah blah blah.
I got her manager's number, all the things. Trevy was there.
It was cool to meet them. Nothing really happen after that,
but I think we're trying to get them in for
when they come here for the podcast. So we'll see
(34:06):
across our fingers if we can. Those are definitely some
bucket list interviews. I loved Tanna, I love Trish, and
I cannot wait. I'm gonna keep manifesting that I meet Trish.
It's it's gonna happen somehow, some way. Now, this Easter
weekend was so much fun. I pulled up on my man's,
I pulled up on my family. I hit a flight
right after work Friday. I pulled in mad late Friday nights.
(34:28):
Saddy picked me from the airport. We wake up Saturday.
I'm thinking of going wedding dress shopping with my mom,
Amaoulita Prima, but I ended up finding a wedding dress online.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
That I loved, loved, loved, So I just ordered that thing.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
And we're gonna wait to wedding dress shop because we're
gonna have We're gonna have.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
A few weddings.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
We're having.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
We're having two weddings, not a few.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
We're having two weddings, so this is just for the
first wedding, so we're gonna have more time to go
more dress shopping.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
It's gonna be fine.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
So then, since that was canceled on Saturday morning, me
and Zaddy did not have any plans, and I think
of something very wild, very brave to do, especially because
whenever I go home, the schedule is just so jam
packed and there's always so many of my family and
friends to see. We never really have just a chill
day to do nothing, just with me and Zaddy. So
(35:21):
I tell him, I say, Babe, today it's your day.
It's your special day, and we could do whatever you want.
You choose where we go, what we do, what we eat,
who we see.
Speaker 1 (35:35):
You choose it all.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
And he did not know what to do. He's never
been told that by me before. He was just so
confused and grateful. He woke me up and to go
on a bike ride. I'm like, sir, really, are you
kidding me? But luckily, our son, the Little Rizzler, does
have an electric bike. Yes, he scored big time, so
(35:57):
we have that in the garage. I'm able to use
that electric bike Thatatty and I start biking to this
place in Walnut Creek. It's a new brunch spot, kind
of new brunch spot. I just want to get the
name right. He was. He told me, He's like, there's
this bougie brunch spot that I've been looking at for
a while. I've been wanting to go, and I've been
(36:17):
waiting until we can go together.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
So let's go. And I'm just slide. Okay.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
It's called Sweet Maple mm hm. And they have this
bacon flight.
Speaker 1 (36:27):
You guys.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
They have this iconic it's called Millionaire's Bacon. It's expensive.
This place is expensive. But the Millionaire's Bacon Fly has citron, bacon,
orange and sea salt, original one and only cinnamon hint
of chipotle with sweet cinnamon, bacon, rosemary savor, rosemary and
(36:48):
pepper with mild sweetness. And on that bacon samp and thick.
We're talking a thick cut bacon girl. So amazing. I
got the crab eggs benedictya. I'm an ex Benedict girl.
I got the crab eggs Benedict.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
It was cool. It was cool.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
He got this crazy thick French toast. I want him
to get the blueberry one, but he wasn't going for it.
He got this French toast which was iconic, and we
also got the popcorn Korean chicken.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
It was good, it was good. I would I would
go once.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
I don't need I don't know if I need to
go again in a long time, maybe once a year.
But the food was cool, it was good. It didn't
blow me away, but I think for the bacon, it
was worth it. You know me, I'm a bacon girl.
I'm a bacon girly girl. So I think that that
was cool and I'm very, very very thankful that he
(37:40):
took me. We went there. There was a little Earth
Day festival slash celebration going on in downtown Wanna Creek,
so we pulled up to that. We accidentally pulled up
to that, honestly, and we're just kind of watching. There's
some little clowns doing clown things. There's a little band,
a live band. There's one food truck. It's a work
(38:02):
in progress. I think I think it's a work in progress.
But the problem was I sat on the grass and
I had these like nice light pink shorts, and I
the grass, unbeknownst to me, was a little more wet
than the touch. So I had these brown poopo stains
on my butt cheeks, which would have been way more
annoying if I didn't have a sweatshirt to put around me.
(38:23):
But yes, that was a big problem. But then after that,
I mean by then, girl, it was already like two o'clock.
So then he wanted to go home, and he wanted
to nap, so we took a little nap. He wanted
to play math. He's a nerd. He loved that. He
liked science and math, so we we did a little
math on his little whiteboard. Yes, I know, girl, we
(38:43):
did the quadratic formula.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
That's his day. It's his day. Whatever my man wants
to do.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
And then we sat and we watched sports for a
little bit. And then he wanted the family to come
over so we can celebrate the little duck's birthday, the
little Duck's birthday month. And he want to open all
his presents too, So my family came over. His Grandma
came over, shout out to Joe Ane. Mima pulled up,
and then my primo, Hector pulls up. He always pulls
up to feed us. He made some ribs, he made
(39:12):
smoked cinnamon buns. After the ribs, he threw in homemade
cinnamon buns and with the rib smoke, Aura smoked the
cinnamon buns. They were incredible. And we played Katan, which
I've talked to you before, this board game that we're
obsessed with now Prittimo Hector he started. We all started
playing Gaiton together around the holidays, and then Prittimo Hector
(39:35):
since has been playing Gaiton on his phone, so he's
been getting able to practice in so we were all
wondering who was gonna win. We all had our different strategies.
Of course, means Zaddi, we are always if we're playing Katon,
means that you're gonna get into a fight. I mean
we have gotte into a fight before we're almost left
on the couch. Katon almost ended us. I'll tell you
that much. Katan almost ended us. And I don't know
(39:56):
how much I've told you about this, but.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
We had to we have a serious.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
Talk the way we play board games and the way
we play games, because Zaddi is probably the most competitive
person that I know, and I like to win too.
But when it comes to my man, I would hope
that we are an alliance against the entire world, and
he was not thinking that way. He's always thinking that
he is in his own alliance and anyone that is
(40:21):
not him that is winning he wants to take down.
So that's what we've kind of had a battle. But
we have had serious talks about it, and we agreed
that we would not sabotage each other, that when we
were playing games, we don't have to have a full
on alliance. But I believe that if I win, he wins.
If he wins, I win. And for a long time
(40:42):
he thought that if I won, he lost, and if
he won, he won. But I told him, no, baby,
if I win, you also win. And I know it's
kind of complicated, but we've had to grow and evolve.
So we've played Katan a few times with those ideas
and rules that we are not going to sabotage each other.
We are gonna play our best game. And so yeah,
(41:04):
I mean, Katana just became a problem because I drew
the monopoly card and wanted everybody's ore. But then Zaddy
I rolled to seven, had to get rid of some
of his cards, and he started getting rid of all
the ore, and I was getting upset because he was
supposed to give me that or if you know, you know,
if you don't, you're confused. But at the end of
the day, Zaddi ended up winning because I let him win.
(41:25):
I was the reason he won. I'll tell you that
that round, I'm the reason he won that round because
he needed to trade grain with somebody and I did
have grain, and Premo Hector's like, don't give him the grain.
He's gonna build that set ofma He's gonna win. And
Premo Hector's like, don't give him the grain, Crystal, Do
you want to keep playing?
Speaker 1 (41:42):
Do you want to keep playing? Don't give him the grain.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
But then I'm looking at Zaddi and thinking, like dang,
I did tell him that I wanted us to win together,
that if he wins, I win. So it was very
weird because on one side of things, I've known my
Pritima Hector for our whole lives, and I do love him,
and I do have lloydy towards him, and I do
want to continue playing the game. But on the other hand,
here is my man, here is my future husband, the
(42:06):
future father of my children, that I may let win,
who also gave up all his ore and didn't give
me anyone I wanted to a few rounds ago when
I played the monopoly card. So he didn't help me
out at that point. But I was thinking, you know what,
if I don't give him this grain right now, I'm
gonna sleep on the couch again. So I'm just gonna
give him the grain. So I gave him the grain.
(42:27):
He ended up winning, but even though he won, he'd
still looked at me and he said, you are so stubborn,
and you are so loud and always make it about
you when you're trying to win. That he was still
upset about the monopoly or of the situation, even though
he had already won.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
So we were a little on edge about that.
Speaker 2 (42:46):
We were a little on edge about that, And then
we started watching Black Mirror together as I mentioned that
episode right, that Black Mirror episode about the healthcare stuff.
And then me and my brother Jad and my my
hector were asking, you know, we were asking each other
about if we would want, you know, if we ended
(43:07):
up being hypothetically if we're brain dead, and there was
a service, a subscription service that would bring us back
to life, but we had to pay the subscription. And
then this company had control sometimes of our brain. Would
we want it to live or would we want to die?
And I told him you better pay up, you better
pay and help me live. And he's like, are you kidding?
(43:28):
Are you serious? They're gonna have they have potential control
of your brain. I'm like, I don't care. I'd rather
be alive than dead.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
You want me dead? And he's like, I don't want
you alive.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
And as someone else being able to control your brain,
I'm like, babe, it's the same brain. It's the same brain.
And he's like, I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
I don't want that. I that's part of.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
Like when he cause he's he was in tech and
he has some he has a lot of heavy comments
about subscription based things and he does not agree with it.
And he said, I wouldn't want you to pay for
me and keep me alive and me and my life.
I'm like, babe, I'm not ending your life. I'm paying
that subscription. I'm keeping you alive. Like I rather you
be alive at some compatciyony than dead forever. And so
(44:06):
we had to have that talk and it got heated,
it got heavy amongst all of us. So we ended
up hearing each other out and understanding each other by
the end of it. But yeah, it was it was close.
It was a close couch call. You know, what happens
in situations, that happens in relationships. You're gonna have those,
you know, the more you're around each other. You know,
(44:27):
it's different because him and I have a long distance
and where we're we work long distance, and there's those
conversations might come up a little more frequently from us
because when we're together for long periods of times, especially
around our family and things like that and playing games
and stuff like those things can only happen when we're
together in long distance situations. And I'm happy that we
(44:51):
have those. I'm happy that we can get through them.
I'm happy that we can just take a step back.
And I tell him this when we're having those heated conversations,
I tell him, Babe, I'm not your enemy. I'm not
your enemy. Hear me out. You know, sometimes you could
be saying something and to your partner it'll come across
a certain way, or they'll kind of assume something about
your comments, but they don't know like the root of
your comments or the root of why you're feeling that way,
(45:14):
and that's okay. That is what growth is. And I'm
happy that we've been able to work through those things.
You know, I have somebody most and if you're listening,
you know who you are.
Speaker 1 (45:25):
I have somebody most.
Speaker 2 (45:25):
That they can't play board games together because they just
ge't too intense and he just talks too much message
she gets mad. And for me, I'm happy that we've
tried to come to somewhat of a compromise with games
because it's really it's so fun to play, and like,
I wouldn't want to live a life where I can't
play with, you know, a game with him because we
just get too mean or rude, or I get to
(45:45):
malv or I get too he gets too competitive and
he tries to sabotage me. I'm like, excuse me, you're
my man, Why are you doing an alliance with my brother?
Why are you aligancing with Juna right now? What's wrong
with you?
Speaker 4 (45:57):
Are you?
Speaker 1 (45:57):
Are you gonna sleep with him tonight? It's a switch.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
So that's was that week. That was Saturday. That was
all Saturday. That was his day.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
That was his day. He did everything I wanted.
Speaker 2 (46:08):
He got smoke, cinnamon rolls, we rode bikes, we got
family time. We got to celebrate by the little Duck's birthday,
open on all his little gifts. And then Sunday it
was Yankee Doodle time. We wake up hell early, we
pick up our son, We go straight to Mysa. We
have a beautiful Misa service at church. We go home
and we start working.
Speaker 3 (46:29):
Girl.
Speaker 2 (46:29):
I'm you know, it's crazy thinking about how life is
just hitting us so fast, because now you know, I
I'm the aunties. I'm one of the theists now that is.
Have agreed to cook something for Easter, and I do
like deviled eggs. I know they are a very polarizing
snack for some, but I am a deviled eggs girly.
(46:52):
I've never made them, but I saw on TikTok there
were some like Ti die colored deviled eggs. I was like, ooh,
it's gonna be fun. Easter is at our house. I'm
make the deviled eggs and zaddi. He was so so helpful.
I got all the groceries the day before. Huh yeah,
that was also part of his day because I want
to get groceries so we're not stressed the day of.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
But he said, it's my day.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
I'm going to watch sports and you're going to go
get the groceries. He said, fine, So I already had
all the groceries. I wanted to make a charcuterie board.
That's my one of my favorite things to do. And
I also wanted to make the deviled eggs, so I
got a hell of packs of eggs. I actually got
the last unfortunately it was only like four pm, and
I got the last thing of eggs. I got some
weibethos and Zaddi was so sweet. He was helping me.
(47:37):
You know, he might have had a little attitude because
you know, in the kitchen isn't everyone's favorite place to be,
but he was helping me. He was like, babe, what
can I help you with. I'm like, o hey, can
you get some of these pots and can you boil water?
Can you put the eggs in there?
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Can you do that? And I'm like trying to do
the charcuterie board. Can you open this? Okay?
Speaker 2 (47:53):
Now? Can you get the bulls out and put food
coloring in the bowls?
Speaker 1 (47:56):
And yeah, he sure.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
He was giving me, you know, minor attitude here and there,
but he was helping and it was so nice because
there was just a lot for me to do, especially
since we went to church, and then after church, like
everybody was coming within that next hour or two, so
it really was yankee doodle time. So then it comes
to the point where we put the boiled eggs into
(48:18):
the ice to try to make it so that the
shell is coming off easy. And Girl, as soon as
I try to peel that first egg, it was a problem.
The shell was not coming off. The shell was coming
off with the little meat of the egg. Girl, And
how the heck am I gonna make deviled eggs when
I can't even take the shell off of the boiled eggs?
Speaker 1 (48:41):
Such a big problem.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
At the same time, I'm trying to finish charcuterie board.
But at the exact time, the angel herself, THEA, comes in.
Zaddi's THEA who is the queen of crafts. She is
the queen of parties. She is the queen like she
has made like a fruity before. She's she makes these
(49:02):
crazy things for halboween, like a mummy hand.
Speaker 1 (49:05):
She's one of.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Those check check check check check check checks. Now does
it work?
Speaker 4 (49:10):
Does it work?
Speaker 1 (49:10):
Doesn't work?
Speaker 2 (49:10):
Yeah, it's working, all right.
Speaker 1 (49:12):
We're talking about the things that your aut Lisa makes.
Speaker 4 (49:15):
She makes everything.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
I know.
Speaker 4 (49:16):
I got a whole album for.
Speaker 1 (49:17):
Yeah that she made. She made like the turkey thing.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
She made the turkey thing. She brought the fruit kebab
to the house.
Speaker 2 (49:24):
Okay, so I'm talking about the exact moment when she
walked in when we're having issues with the eggs.
Speaker 4 (49:28):
She walked in with the fruit kebab. She looked at
the mess of colors that we had everywhere, and she
basically pushed me aside and started cracking it.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
Yes, she was asking, do we need help?
Speaker 4 (49:40):
And then she just saved the day.
Speaker 2 (49:42):
Yes, she's she seriously saved the day. Because we've even
tried to put in the freezer. You're gonna reboil them.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
Well, the thought was put them in the freezer because
they'll get cold again. And we put them in the freezer,
and then I chat repeted if that's the right thing
to do, and they said that's the exact wrong thing
to do. That We got to reb oil them. You
have to pull them out of the boil immediately into
the cold. But I don't know if it was not
cold enough or if we didn't do it long enough.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
And it was east was about of your ruin because
I was the only thing that I really had to do.
Speaker 4 (50:10):
I blame TikTok.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Yeah, and then we yoh, okay, So finally, right, Alisa
her angel, she's such an angel.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
She what she deshelled all the eggs.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
Okay, we tried to Did you tell about how we
tried to dshell the eggs first? Yeah, and we ruined
three eggs. We tried to use the mason jar method.
We tried to shake it up and down on TikTok,
it just gracefully fell apart. When we tried to shake it,
the eggs exploded. They were hard boiled that they were
(50:42):
completely broken. We tried to peel a couple with our hands.
It did not work. We didn't throw them away.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
She took time, she took care, she took love, and
she did that thing. So then by then I was
able to cut them in half and then the white part. Right,
you yeat them into the color the food coloring.
Speaker 4 (50:59):
Yes, we had the bowl of food coloring, which was
you know what it was. I think it probably had
too much water. I think the water content was too
much because on the TikTok it had little cups, little
cups with like halfway full of water versus we had
big old bowls with water. I think we had enough
food coloring, but maybe the vinegar to water ratio is
not good so it didn't stick.
Speaker 2 (51:18):
So then we have the eggs in there and the
food coloring for maybe half an hour.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
Well, I'm trying to wait longer.
Speaker 4 (51:25):
It'sat five minutes online and we had them in there
for at least half an.
Speaker 2 (51:28):
Hour because I'm making the devil dug paste right, the
little paste in there. We gotta put the mayonnaise, and
then I'm a she's cutting up the bacon. Ama pulls
up and I'm bright. When everyone's pulling up, everyone's like, okay,
are we going to finish these deviled eggs. We finally
pull out the white part of the eggs and all
the food coloring.
Speaker 4 (51:47):
Really white complete.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
Actually, someone holds like I peed on them, Like some
of them are like a little like the orange and
yellow ones looked like I had peede on them.
Speaker 4 (51:55):
Yeah. It was like a very faint, like slightly urinated color.
It didn't it was nothing like the TikTok or TikTok
was very vibrant. It was wrong.
Speaker 2 (52:04):
Oh, the TikTok was like bright greens and blues. I
was just like, oh, I want to be the Easter
Queen and absolutely not effort. Yeah, and then you know what,
they were a hit.
Speaker 4 (52:16):
Honestly not a deviled egg fan myself. They did get eaten,
all of them. Everybody ate them. I didn't try him.
Actually with the bacon on the pickle taste was strong.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
Yeah, I might have added a little too much, but
I got a little carried away. I added pickle juice
and relish, just because you know, it's a little crunch.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
But they were a hit.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
Everybody ate ten, people.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
Were multiple of them.
Speaker 4 (52:35):
They looked beautiful, they looked great, They looked really, really
really good. Just the color of the shell itself was
not or I guess.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
The yeah, well the peperka covered it. The pepperka. You
couldn't even tell you.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
So that I'm over here also inspecting the chark cruditi board,
I'm just checking, okay, what he will like, What people
didn't like?
Speaker 1 (52:50):
Did I put too much of this too much?
Speaker 2 (52:52):
The sharp cheddar Mmmm, that was a little lackluster that
my grape sizes.
Speaker 4 (52:57):
You had me trimming some some A little bunch.
Speaker 1 (52:59):
Of you were truming the great bunches. Those are perfectly little,
a little handful. Nice you did that. You really helped.
Speaker 2 (53:06):
I said that your attitude is you know, borderline, but I.
Speaker 4 (53:09):
Definitely didn't want to be helping. But I powered through
the attitude and I got the job done. Usually I
crash out and just walk away or get distracted. This time,
I just kept a sour look on my face. But
all the work that you asked me to do and
got done.
Speaker 2 (53:21):
So I would say that we didn't have a quick
turn We had a very quick turnaround time after mass
we did we only had like an hour.
Speaker 4 (53:28):
Well, we told everybody to come at one o'clock. We
got home at twelve thirty. Nobody got there till two. Yeah,
so we had more time than we thought we did.
But there was a lot that we had to do.
Speaker 1 (53:36):
So then that was great.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
And then we really won with the pre filled eggs
on Amazon.
Speaker 4 (53:43):
That was just so what was the other one? Someone
was like putting quarters or whatever in.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
Yes, my dad opened every single like probably one hundred eggs,
put two quarters in each. You know, it's you know
rough times these days, you know it too, But that's
a lot and they're for Yeah, the little kids and
then ours just had like stupid little toys in them,
little glow rings and things like that. And then your
sister brought the candied eggs.
Speaker 4 (54:07):
Oh my gosh, the one person that we thought we
couldn't have the candy foreshit, I hadn't brought the candied eggs.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
So many candies eggs. We probably had like three hundred eggs.
Speaker 4 (54:17):
Yeah, we did, uh, probably, I don't know. They were
out there for a while. It was like a forty
five minute egg hunt and they all came out. There
was like what seven of them.
Speaker 2 (54:24):
We shoved all the kids in the living room to
watch ice age while we were all putting the eggs around.
We had some golden eggs we had each kid had
their own golden egg, and then we had one big
golden egg.
Speaker 4 (54:37):
Well, we tried to assign colors, which I thought was
a great idea. There was six kids. We tried to
assign each kid their own color so that the big
kids didn't steal the little kid's eggs. We figured, if
everybody's got one color, they'll all just go for the
eggs of their color. But the problem was we had
multiple batches of eggs, so there was like subcolors and
tied eggs, some with patterns, and then it was just
(54:59):
like after five and it was like all right, free for.
Speaker 1 (55:01):
Aud Yeah, yeah, yeah, crazy.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
And then one of our nieces she found the golden
egg that was shoved on top of the tent.
Speaker 4 (55:10):
Well you've got to give the backstory as to how
she found it.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
Well, well, yeah, we were all cheering her on that
she found it. We're like, oh my gosh, she found
the golden egg. Egg. Yes, and we're all celebrating. She
looks all happy, and then maybe like what ten twenty minutes.
Speaker 4 (55:22):
Later, No, it was like five because my sister was
sitting next to me and she was like, I don't
know how she found it that fast, because she really did.
She came back out of the house for a second
and she just looked up and pointed at it. And
so we started getting a little suspicious, like how did
she know that? Because when we sent them inside do
ice Age, when we hit all the eggs, the last
thing we did was we found everybody had their individual
(55:42):
golden eggs, but then we had one grand prize golden
egg and we were wondering how she came out and
found it so fast. And so we asked her, did you.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
Cheat or I wasn't there for that?
Speaker 4 (55:54):
Okay, So she was sitting My sister and I were
sitting right there, and we asked her, like, how did
you find it so fast? Did you cheat? And she's
like no, oh, And I was like, I hit her
with the why are we celebrating Easter? What are we
celebrating Easter for? And she's like, well for Jesus and
the Resurrection. I was like, okay, So like what's the
right thing to do? And she's like, I saw you
guys through the window put the egg. Yeah, she yes, wow,
(56:17):
which which was like, She's what, She's only eight, and
so that was really cool that she was honest. So
we gave her a little ten.
Speaker 2 (56:23):
And she was honest and I said that I told
her that. I said, hey, listen, that was great that
you were honest about that. Sis.
Speaker 1 (56:28):
So then she got she got a price for.
Speaker 2 (56:30):
That, and then we re we shoved everyone and again
so we can rehide the big golden egg, which was
honestly so fun.
Speaker 4 (56:37):
You got a shout out Junior for the impeccable hiding
in plane sight.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
So we were all sitting around, all the adults were
sitting around like two big tables, and we shoved all
the kids inside, and then Junior, my brother, he was like,
why don't we get a red solo cup because there's
cups everywhere, right, red cups, and we'll have one upside down,
we'll put the egg and they're right in the middle
of the table that we all are. And I didn't
know that that was what happened. But then we told
(57:04):
all the kids, okay, come out, come find the golden egg.
And they're looking up the hill, they're looking in the
front yard, they're looking everywhere, and then we tell them, okay,
it's not on the grass. So then they start getting
closer and closer and closer to us, and they're hovering
around us and even my mom, Uncle Bart, you didn't
hear this. But he goes check under the cup. He
(57:26):
didn't know it was under the cubs. He didn't even
know it was under the cup.
Speaker 1 (57:29):
Well the other and he's like, oh.
Speaker 2 (57:31):
I was like.
Speaker 4 (57:32):
The other plot that was forming is while we're moving
the space in so we're making it smaller and smaller.
So though eventually find it, your dad is just like shaking.
He cannot sit still with the fact that he knows
the egg is right next to him and he just
wants somebody to find it. So he's like, I'm trying
to make contact eye contact with my grandson and he's
not looking at me. I'm trying to give him an
eye movement this way, this day.
Speaker 2 (57:52):
My dad really wants a little duck to win, obviously,
right of course. But yeah, then they're all hovering around us.
My mom is like, nope, it's not here, it's not here.
There's cups around. I'm filming the last minute because I
know in any second they're going to find the golden egg.
Speaker 4 (58:08):
And yeah, there was a there was a minute or
two where the duck and Nash were standing right by
the table. Yeah, like they were both just looking at it.
They kind of looked under the table, but didn't look
all the way under the table, and then they kind
of just gave up. And then he was like lurking,
like what are they doing? Yeah, he ended up finding
that was hilarious.
Speaker 2 (58:28):
Yeah, he like he just just cus he thought he
just lifted up the cup. And then I see the duck, Alex,
He's looking at the He said, whoa, And the duck
tries to put his hand there to grab the egg.
But the little rizzler too fast. He got his little
skinny little hand he grabbed that thing. The look on
his face, I mean, he was so and he's so
joy easter joy. He got that egg and whether I
(58:50):
think it's five bucks in there, and he was like
I heard.
Speaker 1 (58:52):
There were twenty five dollars in here. He was so mad,
there's only five bucks.
Speaker 4 (58:59):
It was the thrill of.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
It was the thrill of winning for him. And yeah,
and then here comes uncle barr Aunt Lisa with these
big old bags of water guns.
Speaker 4 (59:08):
Kids got spoiled. They got wind three different rounds of eggs,
and they got the presents that were hidden. They got,
they got taken care of.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
The living it up. They were having a water fight.
It was so pretty in the bay this weekend.
Speaker 2 (59:20):
They're having a water fight and we're all we're all
eating it up.
Speaker 1 (59:24):
We are just ribs, eggs.
Speaker 4 (59:27):
Ar HOOTERI smoked cinnamon rolls I did.
Speaker 2 (59:30):
I shout it out, smoked Simon rolls, all the things,
and yeah, then three to two, one hop it on
our flight.
Speaker 4 (59:40):
I don't know how we pulled that off, honestly, Like
I was getting a little worried. It was like six o'clock.
Speaker 2 (59:44):
No, the best part was that four o'clock Zaddy pulled
that pulled it from the from the living room with
the Katon with the Katon game. He's like, baby, think
it's time for us to all play Caton. I'm like, honey,
we're all vibing like nobody like you got Okay.
Speaker 4 (59:59):
So, my aunt and my cousin are super board game competitive.
I haven't played a board game with them in a decade,
such a long time, so I thought it would be
fun to play with them. And also I was, you know,
still kind of pump from my w the night before.
Speaker 2 (01:00:11):
I told them that I let you win. Yeah, I
helped you win.
Speaker 4 (01:00:13):
Do we need to revisit let's let's let's talk about that. Okay, sidebar,
So did you let me win or did you not?
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
I allowed him to win that round, That's what I said.
Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
I allowed me to win that round. Can we agree
that if we went around one or two more times
it was inevitable that I was.
Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
Gonna get Yeah, obviously you have like nine points.
Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
Okay, okay, but yeah, so we didn't end up playing Guiton.
I'm sorry, but he's been wanting to play here to
this this week. So we'll see if we can finess
out somehow.
Speaker 4 (01:00:41):
We'll have to find some stragglers on the street to come.
Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
Up with us some randoms. We'll get Mike. We'll get
Mike win these off.
Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
That would be good. But no, I don't know how
we We were getting a little squarely on time. Yeah,
and it kind of just happened naturally, Like my sister
was leaving, my aunt and uncle were like, all right,
we're going to take off, and your family was there,
and then before you know it, it was like perfect.
Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
And then we get we're waiting for the fight, right,
And because Zadie fly so much, he usually does get upgraded.
So he was on the upgrade list and the front
lady attendant she pulls us aside and she goes, oh,
you guys might get upgraded, and then she goes, only
one of you.
Speaker 4 (01:01:16):
Though she really got us all excited because the person
was there was one one couple in front of us.
I think that they were going to upgrade. They didn't answer,
they said no. So then she pulls us up and
she's like, okay, first class upgrade, but only one of you.
Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
And I told him like, maybe go up there. Go
to first class. I'm going to sleep the entire time.
Speaker 4 (01:01:38):
Me trying to be the good man. I'm like, I
don't want to leave you.
Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
I don't want to him out left.
Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
I was like, I don't want a stranger to sit
next to you. We already have decent seats. Like, I'll
just sit next to you. Little did I know you
actually would get on the plane, put your hood on,
face down, and for six hours like you just slept.
You didn't move. You your back was bent over like
a and you just did not move. So I cannot
sleep on a plane. I've got I didn't haven't. We
(01:02:05):
forgot the imass at home. But I'm just trying to sleep.
I got my headphones in. I'm exhausted. My eyes are burning,
and you know what it is, It's like there's like
an ambient blue light in a plane, like they quote
unquote turned the lights down, but there's still a bunch
of light.
Speaker 2 (01:02:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
I could not sleep, so I started watching Breaking Bad.
I watched like three episodes of Breaking Bad. I tried
to sleep a little more. I even had the blanket
over my head, covering my eyes. It was rough. By
the time we got home, it was like five thirty
local time.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
It was yeah, in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
So it pulled up five in the morning, took a nap,
got got here and ran and eat it right here.
Back back to the good life, back to living the
dream with you. So that was our Easter weekend. It
was iconic. It was amazing. I was telling them about
how you had a day to do whatever you wanted,
and it was great. We got to ride bike, so
we had lunch and you napped.
Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
You talking about Saturday, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it was.
It was my day for a period of time, and
then we got into some other chorish.
Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
Period of time. Chorish.
Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
Yeah. I felt like we had some stuff that we
had to do.
Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
I went to the grocery store.
Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
You watch sports that Yeah, you know, I think you're right.
Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
Actually, I think, well, at the beginning the day we
had clean. Oh yeah, we did clean.
Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
We did clean.
Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
Yeah. It was uh did my grandma come up with
that day too?
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Yeah, that night it was Hilbert Alex's birthday.
Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
She did come over where I was joking with her.
I was like, Crystal told me today it was gonna
be my day. And before I knew, we were doing
chores in the morning. But no, you did let me
watch basketball. You went to the store by yourself. It
was That was a good day. But it was so nice,
you know, with the bikes and everything. The weather was
really nice. Yeah, we had a good time. It's a
quick trip, but so we.
Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
Are just striving. Now we're gonna go and get some
donut sandwiches.
Speaker 4 (01:03:46):
Is that what it is? Donut sandwiches? I thought there
were exotic donuts.
Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
They have a donut BLT. There's this spot here.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
It was very famous in Japan, and now they brought
it to New York City. As people do all the
good things, and now they have their own spot here.
Speaker 4 (01:04:04):
I think it's a US location.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
I don'tnut. Yeah, I'm donut. That's what it's called.
Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
I'm donut. They have a BLT donut. They have a
breakfast donut. They pretty much use a donut like a bagel.
And then they have all different.
Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
Chicken ginger terioki.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Ah, So we're about to go do that. Where is
this on forty seventh right here? Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:04:26):
Nice close? Or maybe it's in Hell's kitchen. Who nose?
Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
And then tomorrow we're going ring shopping.
Speaker 4 (01:04:32):
We are doing that thing and I'm not going to
crash out this time. Last time we tried to go
ring shopping in New York. We went to the Diamond District.
I got way overwhelmed with all the options, all the stores,
maybe the aggressive sales tactics. And tomorrow, I think we
got it. We got it, we got it. You've you've
you've worked with these people before, You've been with them,
so I think they're good people.
Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
Yeah, we got a suggestion, Zach and Isabella.
Speaker 4 (01:04:51):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
Zack and Isabella listened to the pod.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
They said we should take it to Tiffany's.
Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
Oh, I don't know about Tiffany's because you went to
Tiffany's to try to get your ring sized and then
I went off that secret ring size and it was
way wrong. Yep, it was way wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
Like you Tiffany's. Let's let's talk about that. Tiffany wrongly
ring sized me.
Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
So that was an undercover op.
Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
I remember me and Gabby.
Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
Oh no, I don't think I told you about that.
Me and Gabby's. My Gabby went last summer before.
Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
This was after we went to Greece. This was like,
you know, secret special ops, trying to get you ring
size what you like, and she took you when she
was here in town for a.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Couple of weeks and with her chest, that lady said,
with her chest, I was the five and.
Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
A quarter quarter, and so it was like, that's what
we sized it on, and it's just like you're more
like fourign a quarter you have.
Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
But that's okay, that is totally fine. But we're going
tomorrow one of my favorite spots. So we're gonna go
get him or look at rings.
Speaker 4 (01:05:47):
Yeah, I think it'll be good. M h. It's a
matter of time. It's getting close, I know.
Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
And then we got tickets to see Wicked, the Broadway show.
Speaker 4 (01:05:57):
Yeah you're talking about. I was like, I already saw Wicked.
I don't know to see it again, but the Broadway
show I haven't seen. I'm excited for that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Zaddy's open to this.
Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
He's open to seeing the Broadway play, which I'm so
excited because I have seen it before I saw. I
took him mom once in San Francisco. Okay, I didn't
really care. Okay, I came again when I first moved here,
and I only wanted to see the Whoa, which is
the first act, and then I left right after that.
Speaker 4 (01:06:20):
So am I going to be able to follow the
Broadway show and kind of try it to the same day.
Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
The same thing, and then I want to see with
you because it's one of my favorite movies and soundtracks
of all times. And now I would know every school
word to every single songs. I will be singing along.
Feel very bad for people sitting around me. We're gonna
see Wicked and we're gonna enjoy the rest of our
week together.
Speaker 4 (01:06:40):
It's hot up in here in New York City. It's
seventy eight degrees and humid outside.
Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Finally, I've told you about how the weather has been
so crummy, but today it was the first day in
such a long time that it's been moody, short weather.
Tomorrow's going to be beautiful as well, Thursday too, Friday
as well, Saturday eighty percent of rain, and.
Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
I'll be gone back to Cali.
Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
Yeah, and you'll be gone. So I'm and have to
send that myself. Very sad about it.
Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
But yeah, how are I do this thing?
Speaker 4 (01:07:04):
Do it?
Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
We are going to do our last things? Which is
a daily motivator today. It's called what if and why not?
M What if I started? What if I stopped? What
if I changed? What if I listened to, more carefully,
understood more deeply. What if I followed through on my intentions.
What if I quit analyzing and doubting and started doing?
What if I wasn't held back by so many outdated assumptions.
Speaker 4 (01:07:28):
What if I.
Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
Skipped over the excuses and went straight into action. This
makes you think of your friend that we were talking
to earlier. Ask yourself, what if? Demand a thoughtful answer
and envision the reality of what you completed, of what
you contemplate? Then ask yourself why not? And be honest
as to whether your objections actually hold any weight. Your
(01:07:49):
best what if scenarios are probably not that far fetched
and very much within reach. Pick one and go with it.
Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
Nice.
Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
Reflect on that first time while I get the you
didn't say anything.
Speaker 4 (01:08:02):
Oh no, I didn't say anything, but I could. This
is like analysis paralysis.
Speaker 1 (01:08:06):
What does that mean? An analysis paralysis?
Speaker 4 (01:08:08):
Analysis paralysis is when you are just analyzing the situation
so much, there's so many options, and you get to
the point where you just get paralyzed, Like you you
go into zero action, You freeze because you're thinking about
it too much, and you just end up doing nothing.
And this is good, it says Pick one, and go
with it. Most of the time, if you just do something,
(01:08:29):
whether it's the right or wrong thing, you're either you know,
you do the right thing, it's the right thing. But
if you do the wrong thing, you at least learn
from the situation and you get an opportunity to change
and go forward. But if you do nothing, you're always
going to wonder what if I did what if I didn't?
So I think that's good.
Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
It made me think about this TikTok that I saw
obviously about this man that said that that he's forcing
himself every day to just ask something that he thinks
someone will say no too. That you'd be surprised how
many ses you get, right, I mean, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:09:01):
So, we were just talking to a customer earlier today
and last week and earlier this week. We were getting
back and forth like, oh, what if this comes up?
What if this comes up? Like we're gonna have to
fight this objection. He had no objections. He was like,
this is perfect pricing, looks good. Send it over and
it sounds like everything's gonna be good. Sometimes what we
yes concoct in our head is way worse than the
actual situation.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Yes, we just do it. It's so true. So I
hope that helped you. What if and why not? What
does that make you think of? And does it help
you or not? Hopefully does? Thank you for that. Now
we're going to get into our prayer of the day.
And now I always say I don't want to push
my faith onto you, So if you are cool off
(01:09:44):
that and don't want to hear prayer, totally fine. Thank
you so much for hanging out for another episode of
a Crystal's night Cap. I will see you back next week.
And ZADDI, would you have to say to the person
hanging out with us.
Speaker 4 (01:09:56):
First t I've ever been on a podcast, I thank
you for being part of it. Yeah, yeah, we get
up into the prayer.
Speaker 2 (01:10:02):
Okay, we can get up in the prayer. All right,
this is April twenty second. Listen to me continually. I
have much to communicate to you, so many people in
situations in need of prayer. I'm training you to set
your mind on me more and more, tuning out distractions
through the help of my spirit, walk with me and
Holy trust, responding to my initiatives rather than trying to
(01:10:26):
make things fit your plans. I died to set you
free and that includes freedom from compulsive planning. When your
mind spins with a multitude of thoughts, you cannot hear
my voice. A mind preoccupied with planning pays homage to
the idol of control. Turn from this idolatry back to me.
Listen to me and live abundantly, John eight thirty six,
(01:10:48):
Proverbs nineteen twenty one, John ten twenty seven. Listen to
me continually.
Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
I mean, I think it's actually funny enough in line
with the motivation that you talked about before, because I
think a lot of what that prayer talks about is
distraction and thinking about things that are not you know, God.
So if we tune out our own distractions and we
can focus on Him and listen and tune in, we'll
(01:11:14):
probably be much more aligned with what He wants for
us versus trying to spend it in our own mind
and figure it out. I think distraction is a big
part of that. The world does a good job at distraction.
Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
TikTok, TikTok.
Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
It is true, it is and the constantly trying to
grow my phone like even when.
Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
Like all of us, I know no, that is true.
Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
And just like because this book Jesus calling enjoying peace
and his presence by Sarah Jung. I tell you all
the time, I think that's the hardest thing for us
to do, is just to stay present.
Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
So we were talking about it the other day, even
in Netflix, like if this commercial or something comes on,
like we're we don't even want to sit through the commercial.
We instantly grab our phone. It's just like constant dope,
mean dope mean, don't mean it's hard.
Speaker 1 (01:11:54):
Uh huh. So I hope that helped you.
Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
Thank you again for hanging out the episode of Kryshel's cap.
We will be back next week. Until then, love love,
love you, and I'll see you on the next one.
Speaker 4 (01:12:04):
Audios.
