Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning kiss on.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hey, good morning. I realize that something new will be
on your television as of Thursday, unless you're watching Red
Spring training games. But we are just two sleeps in
a wake up from opening down. So up until this point,
we've just been watching whatever it is that can come
our way.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
What are you watching right now?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Apple TV's got Severance in the last episode of Severance
of season two came out Friday, and that's when I
started the season so that I could watch them all
at once. I finally just watched episode five. So if
you've seen Severance, highly recommended Apple TV is just does
it miss? The other one that's getting a lot of

(00:46):
buzz this morning outside of The Bachelor is White Lotus.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Wondering if we can talk about the last episode of
White Lotus. I am still completely horrified by what I
saw and I wanted to hear you guys opinion.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Please.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I thank you for the talk back with if you
two can chat with me and leave me voice notes.
When you search kiss on the iHeartRadio app, the microphone
is in the top right hand corner. You just hold
that down. Ah. That is the second or third thing
that I've heard about White Lotus this morning. What happened
last night? HBO Max. It's the third season. I've seen

(01:25):
one in two. But the way I consume TV is
usually once it's all out or mostly out, is when
I started. And I've been waiting to watch White Lotus
because my neighbor and I are going to start it together.
And I heard there was some drama in the show
last night. You'll have to shoot me a message and
let me know what your thoughts are on the third season.

Speaker 6 (01:45):
Binge.

Speaker 7 (01:45):
There you go, have a great day, everyone.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
You too, You too? I cut her off.

Speaker 8 (01:49):
There, Binge watched the new show Adolescence on Netflix. If
you have not watched that yet, it's an easy binge,
but it's super heavy. The acting is incredible, and the
message is super powerful.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
Anyway, if you're looking for a new binge, there you go.

Speaker 7 (02:04):
Have a great day.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Everyone, You too, Gal, I appreciate your insight on that
when I just watched the trailer for Adolescents on Netflix yesterday.
I covered this show last week, also getting a lot
of buzz. We uh you know, don't go gatekeep. If
you're watching something that you like, this is the place
to share it. Okay, speaking of the iHeartRadio app if
you lock in. Coming up at six fifty, I have

(02:25):
the three things you need to know to get your
day started in Sincy a new album from Miley Cyrus
on the way.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Lynn. You need to know She's got you. It's three
things with tip on Good.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Morning, new music from a major artist coming up here
in a hot second. Good morning, We're just before seven o'clock.
Temperatures in their normals a repeat yesterday. Yesterday was windy,
but temperatures in the forties right now, will see Hi's
in the fifties, partly cloudy skies. This is not the
morning show that you will go to if you want
weather for opening Day. I am superstitious about it, so

(03:01):
I'm not looking, but I'm sending good vibes, you know,
towards Mother Nature and hoping that she returns the favor.
Before we get to new music, we've got to start
off with some tragic news as we head into spring
break season. A reminder to do everything that you can
do to make the best choices in the safest choices.

(03:21):
And I know it's not always about that, but that
is what we can control. As we learn that two
people a teen and a mother have passed away tragically
on their way to Florida for spring break.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Two local residents have died in a car crash in
Peach County, Georgia, while a third is in critical condition.
The crash happened on southbound I seventy five Peach County Corner.
Carrie Rook said Matthew Newman lost control of his vehicle,
drove off the side of the highway and struck a
guard rail. Seventeen year old Maddy Newman was pronounced dead
of the scene, and forty eight year old Melissa Darby

(03:53):
died at a nearby hospital a short time later.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Just unfortunate. That's Lee Mawen from seven hundred WLW by
THEE our sister station, and we were just talking about
it in the hallway.

Speaker 9 (04:02):
Is sad.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I'll be thinking of them this morning. That GoFundMe is
set up. Second in three things you need to know
this morning, Let's talk about new music. As we get
into spring and summer, you can always tell that we're
getting towards warmer weather outside of the fact that baseball
is returning. It's when a lot of artists start to
release new music and Miley Cyrus Miles Cyrus has announced

(04:27):
her new album titled Something Beautiful.

Speaker 10 (04:29):
Now.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
You can tell that someone else is most likely running
her social media account because she has posted this in
the third person. But according to Instagram, the album will
feature thirteen original tracks and is executive produced by Miley
Cyrus and Sean Everren. She is wearing Archival nineteen ninety
seven Terry Muglare and it's a visual storytelling album.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
This comes out on May thirtieth.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Really looking forward to it because, to be honest, she
is outside of the weekend in Selena Gomez and Benni Blanco,
one of the only pop stars to release new music
and potentially go out on a tour. Actually, I did
forget that the Jonas Brothers announced a summer tour. I'll
have tickets for you coming up around eight thirty on that,

(05:16):
by the way. And then lastly, in three Things You
Need to Know this morning, we have a statement from
Xavier's athletic director on the departure of Sean Miller, a
former head coach. I should say at this point of
Xavier men's basketball, I'll read it for you. Sean played
a key role in getting Musketeer basketball back on track.
Leading us to the Sweet sixteen and another NCAA Tournament

(05:39):
victory this year. He guided our program through rapidly evolving
college basketball landscape and was a great partner in that process.
Throughout his tenure, he has had a full support of
President of the President and our board that will continue
with our next head coach. The search for our next
head coach has already begun and we were moving quickly

(05:59):
to find the right Lilae leader for our program. We
all understand the importance of competing in the Big East
and the significance of having a top tier coach to
lead us forward. Thank you for your continued support. We
look forward to the next chapter of Xavier basketball. Very political,
no emotion on that one. Rumor has it that it's
going to be former head coach Chris Mack. When there's

(06:20):
more on that, you know, I'll have it for you.
And by the way, congrasts to Kentucky moving on in
the basketball bracket, I did hear that there are no
perfect basketball brackets left.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
You'll have to let me know how yours is going.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
And if your eyes are bleeding from college basketball over
the last couple of days, that is three things you
need to know for March twenty fifth, coming up around
seven to oh five, we're commercial free and in that
same hour we'll kick off speaking of basketball, our Kiss
one oh seven one Bang or Bracket Challenge at seven forty.
You'll be in the running to win a pair of
tickets to ten different concerts coming to Riverbend this summer.

(06:53):
The best way to participate and not miss out on
that is by searching Kiss one oh seven one on.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
The iHeartRadio app. As you go about your morning.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
You're waking up with Fifth in the morning.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Ki, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
How do you feel about buying your own engagement ring?
And guys, how would you feel if she just showed
up with her.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Own engagement ring?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
That's where this conversation is going before we get there.
I read these commercials for Genesis Diamonds all the time.
They're a big sponsor of my show, and I've had
great experiences with them. When I cleaned up my dad's house,
I brought them these like dusty old Rolex watches and
I was like, Hey, are these real? And David Cooper
was like, no, Tiffany, They're not real. But I really
thought I had struck a big you know, And when

(07:39):
I read the commercials, I always try to make them
a gender and relationship inclusive because hello, that's modern day,
twenty twenty five. So although I'm reading this as like
a hetero relationship thing, just know I hope you feel
included as well. So I got this message, I'll read it.
We'll go from there, per usual. Looking for some advice
on engagement rings. My boyfriend and I have talked extensively

(08:00):
about getting married. Here's the concern. His financial situation little
tight right now. He's got some student loans to pay off,
house payments, credit card stuff, nothing too out of the ordinary,
just normal adult stuff. But I can tell that the
idea of having to drop a chunk of change on
an engagement ring might be stressful to him, and I
sort of feel weird about having him do that and

(08:22):
buying a ring right now. But I'd like to get married.
We've established that he'd like me to pick out my
own ring. Choosing jewelry isn't his favorite thing to do,
so I've been scoping things out for a little while.
Last week I stumbled upon a beautiful vintage fourteen K
gold ring on Goodwills online auction, and I is the

(08:44):
ring I've always dreamed of having on my finger and
the price was good, so after reading various articles about
women who purchased their own engagement rings, I bought it.
I'm excited and I think he will be too, But
due to gender roles and etc. And just making him
feel comfortable, I almost feel weird about it, like somehow

(09:04):
is he less than or am I desperate for purchasing
my own engagement ring even though it makes very logical
sense for me to do so, and even though it
will still represent our union and I've had so many
conversations about getting married next year with him, I'm just
worried what he might think, what society might think. Does

(09:27):
anyone have any thoughts on this, Tiff? Do you have
any thoughts on this? Can you get some help from me?
Am I overthinking things? Or am I thinking about this
in the right way? Ooh ooh, ooh ooh. I'm a
logical galley, and it takes me a long time to
commit to something like a like A. I would want

(09:51):
it to feel right. Everything I do in my life
is based off of feeling right in what feels right
in that moment, okay, And it may take me longer
to arrive at that the place I'm going. But I
know I've flexed my instincts and I've trusted my gut.
And if purchasing a ring that you're gonna wear for
the rest of your life feels right to you to

(10:11):
buy it in that moment, then I would say go
for But I'm also overthinking this myself. Does it feel
like is it the same? I've never had someone on
bended knee for me, so I don't. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
I'm kind of coming up short here a little bit.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Logically, I understand, and I would see why, Hey, yeah,
it makes sense to buy your own ring. But I
know that someone might be listening right now that has
a different opinion on that, and I would really like
to help her out. So five one, three seven, four
nine one oh seven one or talk back with TIF
on the iHeartRadio app. The microphone is in the top
right hand corner when you hold that down. Have you

(10:52):
ever purchased your own engagement ring? Guys, how would you
feel about this? Give us an honest opinion. Day Higen morning.
We're in the hunts for Cincy's biggest banger, So coming
up in a couple of minutes, you have a chance
to play for a pair of tickets to ten different
concerts coming to River Bend this summer. Don't go far
while I have you. What are your thoughts on buying

(11:16):
your own engagement ring? That's what we're going with this. Hi,
good morning, you're on the air.

Speaker 6 (11:21):
So my name is Laurn.

Speaker 10 (11:23):
Me and my fiance just got engaged last year and
we're getting married this year.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
So he bought my ring.

Speaker 10 (11:31):
He hacked my Pinterest That's how he figured out what
I wanted.

Speaker 7 (11:37):
He just took my Pinterest board to the.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
Jeweler and was like, this is what she wants.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
I love that.

Speaker 11 (11:44):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
You gotta get it on you.

Speaker 10 (11:47):
But my best friend she's getting engaged this year and knows,
and they've already picked out the ring.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
Like they went to the jeweler together and picked it up.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Okay, did she buy it?

Speaker 6 (11:57):
And yes, they bought it. Well, I believe so they.
I just told her about it last week. I believe
he has it, Like, like is paying it installments?

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Right?

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Okay, Clara Clara wedding ring? I get it.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
So, Lauren, not.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
To cut you off, but just because we've got to
land the plane on the show here, she what are
your thoughts on her? If she needed to buy that
ring on her own, what would like? What is your
advice for her?

Speaker 10 (12:21):
I mean, in my mind, just comparing the two of us,
that's why I called is this. I knew what I wanted.
My fiance knew what I wanted, so he took it in.
But my friend, her boyfriend, her boyfriend should be fiance,
great guy, but he definitely would not have been able
to do what.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
My fiance did. She just is more would have noticed.
And I think she's one of those people that if
you butt a.

Speaker 10 (12:46):
Ring and she didn't like it, she would have been like, yes,
I'll marry you, but we need a new ring.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
So this was just an easier way of getting exactly
what she wanted.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Okay, Lauren, which neighborhood are you in?

Speaker 6 (12:58):
I'm from Anderson.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Thank you for the Sometimes it takes us a minute
to get to where we're going, but if you're just
walking into the conversation. I had read on the air
a message that I got about this girl. That's like, listen,
my fiance and my boyfriend and I have been talking
about getting engaged, but he doesn't have the money to
buy a ring. I found a ring that I like,
and I bought it, and I don't know what to

(13:20):
do from here? Help? What do I do with my hands?
I haven't art from a guy yet, and you guys
know how to get in touch with me. Five one, three, seven,
four nine one seven to one don't go far Good morning.
I love that song all right before we get to
kiss one oh seven one's bang or bracket challenge your
chance to play at a pair of tickets to over
ten different concerts coming to Riverbend this summer and just

(13:40):
three minutes, let's check one of our talkbacks on the
engagement ring thing.

Speaker 11 (13:44):
So my husband bought my engagement ring, but he did
not buy my wedding band. I bought that myself. Okay,
I'm the breadwinner between the two of us, so it
just made work sense for me to buy my wedding
band versus him.

Speaker 6 (14:01):
And I was also.

Speaker 11 (14:02):
Really a decisive I bought like three different wedding bands,
chosen when I wanted, and then returned it.

Speaker 7 (14:06):
Well, it was easier for us.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I appreciate that you know, at the end of this conversation,
I feel like you have to do with with what's
best for you, right, But we still haven't heard from
a guy on what it would be like for a
girl to buy her own engagement run. We'll pause on
that three minutes from now, Banger brackets, when you need.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
To know she's got you. It's three things with Tiff.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
We are running wicked late, so this will be a
quick three things you need to know just before eight o'clock.
Eight thirty year chance to win Jonas Brothers tickets before
they even go on sale was announced yesterday. I believe
that former legend here at seven hundred WLW our sister station,
Jim Scott, will have a dedication his way coming his

(14:54):
way at Finley Market.

Speaker 12 (14:55):
Jim Scott Way will be on Veil near Finley Market
Tuesday after in at three o'clock as the Honorary Street
will be located at the corner of Brace and Liberty
Streets where the annual Friendly Market Opening Day parade steps off.
For more than fifty years, the longtime seven hundred WLW
host march in the parade and last year rode in
a vehicle as an honorary Grand Marshal.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Unfortunately, I mean Jim Scott had a long tenure here
before I arrived at seven hundred and passed away, Yes yesterday.
I'm sorry last year, last summer of als, so be
on the lookout if you happen to be going down
there for the parade. And speaking of Opening Day festivities,
John John and friends will be live from more Line

(15:34):
Longer House, and you can hear a lot of our
Opening Day stuff on our sister station at seven hundred
WLW by searching them on the iHeartRadio app. Second, in
three Things you need to know, speaking of baseball, red
Spring training continues with one final exhibition game tonight up
in Dayton. If you're going, you'll have you'll have to

(15:55):
let me know, reach out to me via Instagram or
something like that. You can hear that game on Fox
Sports through the iHeartRadio app as well. And if you're
a visual person at the tiff two f's potter like
the Wizard, I just posted up some seasonal offerings at
Great American that you can munch on this year. I'm
more of a hot dog gal like I just want

(16:16):
a hot dog and a draft beer. But if you
want gourmet selections, go ahead and take a peek at
our social media. And then, lastly, in three Things, you
need to know this morning. Miley Cyrus announced yesterday that
her next studio album, It's actually a visual album, is
set to come out on May thirtieth. Very exciting. We
haven't gotten new music from Miley in about a year

(16:37):
or so, so it'll be good to hear from her.
And of course that you know, I'll have that for you.
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty fifth of March. If you can lock in, I
have your chance to win Jonas Brothers tickets before you
can even buy them. Coming up at eight thirty.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
You're waking up fifth in the morning time.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
I feel like we didn't get an answer in our
last hour, and I don't want to put this thing
to bed yet until we get one that feels kind
of somewhat conclusive. Engagement ring is the keyword you're going
to need for the Jonas Brothers tickets. In about ten minutes,
we're in the midst of talking about engagement rings because and.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
You might be walking into this a little late. Totally understandable.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
I'd got a message which I read on the air
of like listen, Tiff. Here's the sum up version of it.
The debrief I am with my boyfriend have been for
a while, we want to get married. His financial situation
a little bit in the trash right now, because well,
like most millennials, he's got college loan, student debt, all that, right,
and I don't feel like waiting for him to get

(17:37):
through that. I also feel uncomfortable asking him to drop
a bag on an engagement ring.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
So I bought my own.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
And it's sitting in my sock drawer and I don't
know what to do with it. Will this be emasculating
for him? Will this ruin our relationship?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Do we want to go beyond society?

Speaker 9 (17:54):
Like?

Speaker 2 (17:54):
I get that, Yes, but it is sometimes it just
is what it is. What do we do? I'm a
logical gal, so I totally saw where she was coming from.
I typically try to just meet people where they are,
regardless of the situation. That's my emma in life. So
I said, yeah, I totally get what you're saying. But
I'm also not a guy, and no one has ever

(18:15):
been on bent knee for me before, so I don't
necessarily know if I'm the most qualified to give the advice,
which is where you come in. Good morning, You're on
the air, Okay.

Speaker 13 (18:26):
So I'm just thinking, like, whatever happened to not talking
about your finances? Like that's really nobody's business how they
got the ring right?

Speaker 1 (18:39):
True?

Speaker 2 (18:39):
Yeah, that makes sense. I wasn't sure where you were
going with that now, but now I understand. I think
she's more like, Hey, do you think my boyfriend is like,
his ego is gonna be a little hurt if I
buy my own engagement ring knowing that he's not in
the same financial position that I'm in, But I would
like to get married to him. I think that's what
she's really worried about at bottom line.

Speaker 13 (19:00):
Yeah, I mean, but they're in love and they want
to get married, so who fought what?

Speaker 6 (19:07):
Who cares?

Speaker 2 (19:09):
I feel the same way. I feel the same way.
But I'm just thinking of a guy listening right now
being like, hell, no, Tiffany, you buy that ring. It's
never ever, ever gonna work out long term. I don't
know my guts just telling me that.

Speaker 6 (19:22):
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 13 (19:24):
I've been married twice, divorced twice. Also, I didn't have
an engagement ring the first time, and the second.

Speaker 6 (19:31):
Time, you know, I didn't.

Speaker 7 (19:34):
I didn't really care for it much, but I bought.

Speaker 6 (19:37):
My own wedding band. So yeah, I don't care.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
You're the second person about the wedding band thing. I
appreciate your insight. You want to remind me of your
name of what neighborhood you're in.

Speaker 14 (19:46):
This morning, Melissa from uh.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Well, thank you for the call.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Melissa.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Let's get a guy on the air. Give it to
me straight, shoot it to me straight. She pulls out
the ring and she's like, I will you marry me?
What are you thinking? Five?

Speaker 3 (20:03):
One three seven four nine one oh seven one.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Engagement ring, by the way, is the keyword for the
Jonas tickets. Good morning, a little lady Gaga. You are
about four minutes out from your chance at a pair
of Jonas Brothers tickets with the keyword engagement ring before
those tickets even go on sale. Okay, we have we
have guys lined up to answer this question. She buys

(20:26):
her own engagement ring. What are your thoughts? Good morning?

Speaker 9 (20:30):
Okay, So I was just listen. Since that girl bought
her engagement ring or whatever, and now we're talking about
getting engaged. I think she's just proposed to him. Yeah,
kind of weird with the women's ring, But as you
don't know what to go from there s you just
propose to him.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Then Okay, So I'm glad to get a guy's perspective
because I was kind of thinking the same thing. But
in your honest opinion, if you were to represent the
male race right now, the male gender rather, would you
feel a mask or would you be like, Okay, this
is great.

Speaker 9 (21:02):
Well I'm going with tradition. That would be weird, but
I mean it would be a little masculating. But I mean,
if she's in a tough position and she thinks like
she don't know what to do, then she could probably
just propose to him and then explain later.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Okay, well, hey, doett and ask for forgiveness.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
What's your name, by the way, with neighbor are you in?

Speaker 9 (21:22):
I'm Brian and I'm from Level Heal.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
All right, thanks for the call, Brian. If you're just
walking into the conversation. I had read this whole thing
in our seven o'clock hour, a message that I had
gone from a girl that was like, listen, listen, listen.
My boyfriend and I are talking about getting engaged.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
We love each other.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
His financial situation a little bit in the garbage right now,
like most millennials are with student debt, et cetera. I
found the ring that I really like, and I bought
it and it's now just sitting in my sock drawer
and I don't quite know what to do here? Am
I just overthinking it because of you know, societ norms,
et cetera?

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Is this gonna feel weird? Is this masculating?

Speaker 10 (21:56):
Like?

Speaker 2 (21:57):
What do I do in this situation? Also, this is
between a hetero cover. I did mention in my seven
o'clock hour two that you know this is inclusive as
far as yes, this is a man and a woman,
but obviously everyone feels the same way, right, doesn't matter
you know who?

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Who's getting married to?

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Who?

Speaker 7 (22:12):
Here?

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Good morning?

Speaker 6 (22:13):
You're on the are you know?

Speaker 14 (22:15):
Let's let's just say I'm a garbage man. I work hard,
I'm true, true to the lady, right, and she ain't
happy with the ring that I can afford, so she
wants to.

Speaker 6 (22:27):
Buy her own ring.

Speaker 14 (22:29):
Clearly I was never good enough for her.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
From the get go.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Okay, I appreciate it.

Speaker 6 (22:35):
That's crazy, That's that's why. How are you.

Speaker 14 (22:39):
Gonna buy your own ring and be like, yeah, I'm
married to him, but you know he can't afford the
thing that I want, so I gotta get my own
wedding ring or engagement ring.

Speaker 6 (22:47):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
Okay, So it's a note for you.

Speaker 14 (22:50):
That's note for every man in the world.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
I knew that this was coming. Okay, what's your name?
By the way, what neighborhood you waking up with me?

Speaker 6 (22:56):
And my name's Carl.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I'm flor Thank you.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
For the Carl car call. Well, thank you of the call, Carl.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Shoot. I think we're still to be honest inconclusive about this.
I hate leaving it like that, but I think we are.
I mean, they're going to be varying opinions on this,
and I also think this is a big difference between
men and women.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
Women are like maybe a little bit more lot.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Not that were more logical, but I could see where
she's coming from is where I want to go. At
that one. We got to move on, though. Engagement is
the keyword you're going to need for the Jonas Brothers
tickets coming up next. You're still more than welcome to contribute,
but I just want to make sure we get the
tickets out the door. At the time, I said we
were gonna mmmick up in the morning. I love that

(23:41):
song really good bed Kem Sabrina Carpenter on that one.
All right, I'm hoping that you have a keyword for me.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
I do with the engagement ring.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
Congratulations, Gal, your collar ten, you get the keyword, You're
going to Jonas Brothers.

Speaker 7 (23:55):
My inner teenage girl is screaming right now.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
I know.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Is there a song that comes to mind for you?
For Jonas?

Speaker 15 (24:02):
All of them, literally, every single one of them.

Speaker 7 (24:06):
There's not one that I just like any more than
the other.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
The last time that I went to a Jonas Brothers concert,
I was wearing a face mask at Riverbend.

Speaker 15 (24:14):
What a time, And yes, absolutely I wanted to go
so bad as a kid, I never got the opportunity.

Speaker 7 (24:20):
So I think that this would be really awesome.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Your millennial dreams coming true live on tip in the mark.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Oh my goodness, Wick and happy for you. What's your name?
By the way, what neighborhood you waking up with me?

Speaker 7 (24:32):
And I am Jade and I'm in the Franklin Middletown area.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Thanks for calling it well, Thank you for listening to
Tiff in the morning.

Speaker 7 (24:37):
Jake every day, every day.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
I appreciate that quick yes or no because I know
the girlies, I mean, we kind of get it. We
see eye to eye on a lot of things. And
we were just talking about the engagement ring. She bought one,
and she doesn't know what to do because you know,
her husband's in this horrible financial situation, but she like
saw the ring.

Speaker 16 (24:55):
I don't know what to tell her, So I kind
of I listened to all of the feedback that you
were getting and definitely, you know, women think more logically
than most and that's all right, But I mean, I
think it all just depends.

Speaker 6 (25:07):
On the man that you're with, you know, and their.

Speaker 7 (25:09):
Views on the situation.

Speaker 15 (25:11):
But I do feel a little bit like the first
guy you talked to, like it had been a little
bit different had she.

Speaker 6 (25:16):
Had proposed to him and then maybe also had.

Speaker 15 (25:18):
Her own ring, if that makes sense, just so that
there wasn't some sort of like confusion or wasn't trying
to put anybody else down. But I mean thinking it
all just depends on your spouse and like what you know,
that relationship and that kind of conversation would look like
for you guys.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
So well, Jade, you made a good point there, and
I also want to echo I think that women maybe
not that we necessarily always think more logically because we
are steeped in emotion. We just have a higher emotional
intelligence level sometimes which is a lot which allows us
to logically see lots of different angles to situations where

(25:55):
men I think, see one way direct path boom boom
A to B and can we cover the whole alphabet?
And I think that is a difference between men and
women on borderline. I am borderline ready to be like,
you know what, I'm done stroking the mail ego, but
I'm not because I get it. It's it can be

(26:16):
very delicate, it can be so I like what she said.
I think it's circumstantial. You can get caught up on
the podcast. By the way, if you're walking into this
conversation a little late, no worries. I post that thing
up on the iHeartRadio app as soon as the show
wraps in about an hour. Just search TIF in the morning.
In the meantime, we're commercial free. Two songs out from
three Things you need to know when you need to know,

(26:37):
She's got you.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
It's three things with TIF.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
Good morning, I congratulations to the weekend. I'll explain why
in a hot seck. We're just before at nine o'clock
on this Tuesday. We're two sleeps and a wake up
away from opening day. I haven't checked the weather. Don't
come to this radio station if you want the weather
for opening day. I'm superstitious. I won't look today, though
in the fifties, partly cloudy sky is very similar to yesterday.
All right, let's before we get to the weekend, let's

(27:03):
start off with Sean Miller. You know I had talked
about his departure from Xavier. Yesterday, the athletic director for
Xavier did post on social media. I'll read a quick
bit for you. Sean played a key role in getting
Musketeer basketball back on track, leading us to a Sweet
sixteen run and another double n NCAA Tournament victory this year.
He guided our program through a rapidly evolving college basketball

(27:24):
landscape and was a great partner in that process throughout
his tenure. He has also had the full support of
our staff, and so will the next head coach.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
The search for our next head coach.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Has already begun, and we are moving quickly to find
the right leader for our program. We all understand the
importance of competing in the Big East and the significance
of having a top tier coach to lead us forward.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to
the next chapter of Xavier basketball. Very political, zero emotion.
Can't get a real temperature check on the room. On

(27:56):
that one, Chris Mack is said to be in the
running former head coach for Xavier. When they're more on
that one, I'll have it for you, all righty. Congratulations
to the Weekend. He has now earned a new top
ten hit on the Hot one hundred every year since
two thousand and fourteen. This is the longest active streak
for any artist, with twelve consecutive calendar years. So which

(28:20):
one got him in the top ten this year is
the song by Hit off his new album with Playboy Cardi.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
It's called Timeless. We play it here on Kiss at Abody.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
What they Say I'm times.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
I do like that song.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
If you're also wondering what other songs got him to
number one, obviously this is a classic and basically started
the pandemic.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
No one liked a super Bowl performance. I didn't mind it.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
I thought it was fune that was fine. Also another
classic banger. If you're an old Weekend stand.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
I love it, Love it.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
So a congrats to the weekend, all right, and then
lastly in three Things you Need to Know this Morning,
I guess also another congratulations is in order for Lisso
she's getting into the movie business and she's set to
play a rock and roll icon sister Rosetta Tharp for
her new biopic. I don't have a date as to
when this is coming out, but I think that Lizzo

(29:40):
would fare well in the acting world, especially if it's
supposed to be something in music as well, because she
can sing, so I could see her being a good
fit for this role. And I also think Lizzo needs
good press after the year or so that she's had,
so I'm wishing her the best of luck. That is
three things you need to know for the twenty fifth

(30:00):
of March. Coming up next, what are you doing for
Opening Day? Abby?

Speaker 3 (30:05):
From everything?

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Since he's gonna join the show, she'll give us the
top three things that you can do on Thursday outside
of the classics, the parade, et cetera.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Don't go far, just one.

Speaker 12 (30:15):
It's time for Tuesday tips on tip in the morning.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
I love when I don't have to do research.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
You know that friend in the group that's like Hey,
do you want to do this thing with me? And
you're like, yeah, absolutely, I had to put zero effort
into it.

Speaker 12 (30:25):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Abby is a good friend of our show.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
She also runs everything sincey which is exactly what it is,
does all the research so you don't have to Opening
day is two sleeps and a wake up and we well,
you got to get into it, Abby, What do you think?
What's going on? What do we need to know?

Speaker 17 (30:41):
We've got a fun event happening at Moreline Laggerhouse. But
one thing I love is free, and we're doing a
free signing with a fan favorite, Billy Hamilton. You used
to play with four of the Reds, and so you
can come down between two and four meet Billy and
get us autographed.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
On opening day.

Speaker 17 (31:04):
Yeah, on opening day, So come down to more Line.
We've got eight DJ's. Obviously John Don's going to be
down there, but Billy is going to be there from
two to four doing free autographed and hanging with the fans.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Oh my god, it's going to be nuts. So then,
because I'm sure John John's broadcast is like right next
to where Billy is going to be signing, yep, and Ted.

Speaker 17 (31:24):
Chrris is also going to be there with Cincy Hat.
We're it's going to be It's going to be the
spot to be. So I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
It's going to be a fun day, okay, And of
course you and I will both be there as well,
so we'll have ourselves a day. Get ready to write
your I'm not coming into the office email like now,
you know, so that you're prepared for that.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
On Friday morning, I.

Speaker 17 (31:45):
Woke up with a little bit of an earache and
I'm not gonna be able to make it in today,
you know, speaking of that, the city is going to
be packed with people. So one thing that Metro is
doing to help is they're doing free rides all Thursday
for down to like downtown Cincinnati, and I think that

(32:07):
is so kind of them, and I think it will
help so much with traffic. Parking is expensive in the
city and so yeah, park and one are the parking
or get on a route.

Speaker 7 (32:17):
And hop on the Metro for free. We love free totally.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
And because because I live so close to the stadium,
I often forget that people need to somehow get there.
Then it's not always the best option to uber. Don't
forget about Metro. Hop be a city gal, get on
the bus.

Speaker 17 (32:35):
Yeah, and a lot of they have a lot of
routes now they are twenty four hours, so you can
take metro home as well. And yeah, it's gonna's gonna help.
And I love that they're doing that for the city
and celebrating the city Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Holiday, Abby from everything, since he does all the research
for us, what else have you got? One more thing?

Speaker 17 (32:56):
Lastly, if you don't want to cross the bridge Newport
on the Levee and Shinn, they're going to be rocking
over there too, so that's going to be something fun.
And they're doing kids Opening Day on Saturday, so if
you want to take your kids down to celebrate the
Red season starting, it's going to be fortune on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Well, Abby, thank you very much. She joins us every
Tuesday around this time. You can find her at everything,
since he on social media, that everything, since he dot com.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
Will see you at moreline.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Gal, you're waking up with fifth in the morning. Kiss.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
There's only one thing actually that we talked about that
was the biggest and we still haven't kind of come
we're inconclusive on it, I think, and I hate that feeling,
but we're trying to get some advice. By the way,
this is the daily debrief. Every day. At this time,
I choose the biggest thing that I think that we
talked about, and we revisit it, giving you a chance

(33:46):
to get caught up and be a part of the conversation,
et cetera, if you're just starting off your day. I
had read a message in our seven o'clock hour that
I got from a gal that's been with their partner
for a while. He's not in the greatest financial situation
right now like most meils a student debt, et cetera.
But they want to get married and he just kind
of doesn't have the bag for a ring right now.
And she does and she found once she really liked

(34:10):
and she bought it. She's like, shoot, this thing is
just like sitting in my sock drawer. What do I
do with it? And do I propose to him? Do
I just be like, hey, I got the ring I wanted.
And we could not come to group conclusion on this.
There were so many opinions. One of them here is

(34:32):
a call that I didn't get to in the moment,
but I recorded for you, And this is from a
guy's perspective.

Speaker 18 (34:37):
If the woman wants to buy a ring because for
Fontre her man is in financial hardship. I think it
can be incredibly romantic, since if you're falling tradition, if
the man's going to ask the woman, he'd.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Ask him for her love.

Speaker 18 (34:56):
So I think it could become incredibly romantic if the
woman takes the ring, take another ask for his or
hand it to him and have him ask for her.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
And I don't think and thank you for that call.
I don't know if we're going to get I don't
think we're going to get the same. I don't It's
hard for me to not have a yes or no
with my neurodivergent brain, right, I like black and white
yes or no and varying opinions. Get caught up on
the podcast. If you're looking for someone to listen to
to them, search tif Tiff in the morning on the
iHeartRadio app. Everything we do is there for you, and oh,

(35:31):
everything we do is there for you and for you
to get caught up when of you have some free time,
and maybe you too have an opinion that you can
share
