Hi, is this Julia, Yes, speaking Julia? How are you?
My name is Pete Eakins, and I work in the
season ticket office for the Kansas City Chiefs. How you
doing today? And you are one of our values season
ticket holders?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Proudly?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yeah? Yeah, and you've had these tickets for a long time.
It looks like I've had these tickets for wow, forty
years or so, right.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah, they've been in my family for the last forty years.
My husband, I've proudly had them for the last ten years.
We never missed a game. We're huge fan.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah. Oh great, So I am just calling with some news, okay,
And well I guess I'll just kind of rip the
band aid off there. So those seats of yours for
the next game. Yeah, well, those tickets are being revoked

(01:06):
by the league office.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I'm sorry, excuse me.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yes, the season tickets that you've had in your family
and in your possession for forty years, those are being revoked.
And there's really nothing I can do about it because
it comes from even higher up than our organization. It's
a league thing. So the league office.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
This is unbelievable. These have been in my family for decades.
This is this is completely inexcusable. Why is this happening? Why? Why? Us?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Okay, so, I'm not sure if you know this or not,
but one of our players there are tight end, Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
He's oh, no, come on, you've got Is this some
Taylor Swift? No? Unacceptable? I'm sorry I did not accept this.
Is this about Taylor Swift? Is that the reason I
can't have my seat? Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yes, it is so so.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
No, I'm sorry, No, this cannot I this can stand.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
This is I guess Taylor has an expressed an interest
in the section that you're sitting in.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
So the sure she has is a wonderful section. It's
been in my family for forty years. Taylor Swift can
suck if she wants those seats. I will accept nothing less.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Uh okay, Well, I can't really go back to the
league office with anything, but I definitely can't go back
to them and say that Taylor Swift can do that
for you if she wants to see this. Unfortunately, there's
nothing I could do, though she's a that whole section
is gonna be purchased by Taylor Swist. So she can
bring her friends and family to the games while she
watches her man play football.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
No, you are not clearing away people like me who
have had these tickets in their family for forty years
so that Taylor Swift can bring all her celebrity friends
and they can sit there and they can look pretty
for the cameras or whatever they do. This is Kansas City, Okay,
we mean business. Taylor Swift has only been around for
how long. She's already so bad for us. We're gonna lose.

(02:55):
We're gonna lose because of her. She's just a distraction.
It's gonna be so bad for the team. And honestly,
if that's what Kelsey's into, trade is trade. Kelsey's the
forty nine ers. That's where they have wine and cheese,
soarees and all that stuff. There is no way you
are taking away my season ticket. No way.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I really have no choice. This comes from the league office. Apparently,
you know Taylor, don't give whose.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Choice it is. They are not being taken away from me.
Everything was great for generations until Taylor Swift showed up.
You know, I turn on ESPN and I don't even
hear them talking about football. It's like there are a
bunch of twelve year old girls talking about Taylor Swift
and like Swift these I don't know who your boss is.
Obviously you have one. Obviously you're getting a paycheck from somewhere.

(03:38):
You tell them right now that if Taylor Swift wants
my feet, she can suck. That is all I have
to say. Thank you for your time.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Please don't hang up. I just need to let you
know there's a brank phone call. And this is actually
Jubil from the Jebel Show doing a phone brank on
you and your sister set you up. But it's a joke,
she says. Oh, oh my god, and been her season
ticket holders, and you've been annoyed about the Taylor Swift stuff,
and do you want me to take away your season
tickets because of it?

Oh my god, Holy I almost had a stroke just now.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Okay, God, oh my god, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
I've never been so excited to be pranked in my
entire life. Oh. I'm so sorry for all the mean
things I said. I'm so sorry and now I'm sorry,
but I need to hang up the phone and go
say some mean things to my sister.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
