Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Good morning, John Jaye Rich.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Uh you looking for stories about being.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Stuck with individuals? Yeah? What he got.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I met a young lady at a convention in another
state and just kept in contact, and you know, you
just kind of casually say to somebody, Oh, you should
come visit.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
She showed up.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
On New Year's Eve, showed up me, uninvited, uninvited, just
showed up. I told her where I lived and should come.
She just called and surprised me and told me that
she was in the city. And I was finally kind
of felt alligated like I should meet her. And she
wound up wanting to stay with me for a couple

(00:38):
of days. And I happened to be going out of
the city to go to Miami to go on a
boat for her to celebrate New Year's and she wound
up tagging along, and I got stuck with her for
like three days, and I pawned her off on somebody
on the.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Boat, So somebody on the boat ended up hooking up
with her.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
The boat went out to spend the evening on the water,
but I went ahead and docked when it was dropping
other guests off. But I want to stay, so I
let her go. Out on the oh, and I went
back to the hotel.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
But did she end up going back to your hotel
with you?

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Furiously? The next day she showed up and felt completely abandoned.
She was so mad that she flew out of Miami,
left her stuff in Orlando and expected me to mail
it to her.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Whoaude. All right, that's a great story, dude.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
It was an awkward situation. Do you never think anybody's
gonna show up? And he just casually said, yeah, come
visit and just show up on New Year.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
She must decide you guys were a lot tighter than
you thought you were.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, it was just an evening of fun when I
met her in Boston, and.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
That's all it was meant to be, right on, dog, Well,
thanks for sharing that story with his brother.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
All right, it's John J. Rich.

Speaker 6 (01:41):
I know I have good judgement, so.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
I know sometimes we have problems with our website. I mean,
it's been a while, but we got a text right now.
You text us at JJR and whatever you want to
say to nine six eight ninety three. But we've got
a text from Caitlyn and this is crazy, crazy story
about how our website that malfunctioned at one point saved
her life. Okay, get this, Caitlyn, your text is crazy.

(02:14):
Could you explain to everyone good morning.

Speaker 7 (02:16):
Hike, good morning. Yeah. So last year, about this time,
I think I was like end of October, early November,
I was trying to submit as I could date update
to your Guys' show because I had had a date
set with some guy. We'd already been on another date,
had a great time. I had cooked dinner at my house.
He told me he was on his way, like going

(02:38):
to be there like in an hour, and he has
never showed up, and so I was trying to figure
out what had happened. I had like tried several times
to submit it to your show, and this site book
kept malfunctioning, I mean all of the set. So I
like was like, well, I guess it's not meant to be.
And last week I ended up seeing a news article
pop up that he killed his girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Of mouse, Are you kidding house?

Speaker 7 (03:03):
He wasn't on the way to my house. This was
a year ago that he was supposed to come over
for dinner. And I sat there crying because I, you know,
when to date his dinner and he just never showed up.
And now I ended up finding out that he murdered
his girlfriend about a mile from my house last week.

Speaker 8 (03:17):
Oh my gosh, that could have been you.

Speaker 9 (03:22):
Yeah, because we would have been we would have pushed
the romantic side, and we would have pushed for a
second date.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
We have paid for the date, and you could have been.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
And then how bad would we have felt?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Oh my gosh, that would have been terrible?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
So crazy.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
Well, I did run into him about like three months ago,
and he started texting me again. But I kept telling
him like, ye, I'm seeing somebody. I'm really happy. And
so the fact that you know, I had enough time
to move on to somebody else, I didn't still have
those lingering.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Feelings, so hold up.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
So what if we were to call him, like, let's
do the second date update. We called the guy whatever
his name is, let to say it's Carl, Hey, Carl,
Chigi and Richard Day. You know, he went out this girl,
Kaylin and she wants away that Carr back. Well, guys, honestly,
I'm in prison because I come my girlfriend.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
Drum he moved on?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Or what if he's like, man, I'm bull it off,
I don't want to Maybe he's like unattracted to you
maybe like maybe maybe you have maybe.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
You've got like a big nose, and he wanted to
she had a big nose. I don't know how to
tell her. So I just killed somebody so I could
get out of her back.

Speaker 7 (04:24):
I'm not even good enough for a murder.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Wait, what's his name? Is there like an article out
on and I'm I totally want to look it up.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
We'll bleep it. What's his name?

Speaker 9 (04:35):
And so obviously he's a waiting trial or something. If
he saw you, if you saw him a few months ago,
or is he already.

Speaker 7 (04:42):
He was just arrested last Thursday.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
No, this is fresh.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
Yes, he actually went back to the bar. I guess
that I had met him at after it happened.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Oh, hell, here it is.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Literally, oh my gosh.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Whoa kind of.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Looks like Jason Kelsey.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
He uh damn good looking though, Holy smoke, that is insane.

Speaker 6 (05:05):
Well, I'm so glad.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
Yeah, we ended up finding out a bunch of things
that happened over the last year. He had a girlfriend
at the time, and like all that he's been telling,
like all these lies, there's a bunch of girls that
are all caught up in his life, like he's psychopathic.

Speaker 8 (05:18):
I mean you literally did dodge a bullet, like quite literally.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
Yeah right, that's terrible.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
There is any information on but it sounds like domestic violence,
so I think that there is.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
But listen, I'm sorry that our website glitch, but it
did save your life.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
Your guys is nolfunctioning website saved my life. Let you
guys do that.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
But we want everyone to know that is up and working,
So go ahead if you use to set up a
second update for you and connect find out why they're
blowing you off, and hopefully it's you know, not because
they're a murderer.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
Yeah, but the site doesn't work. Take that as a sign.

Speaker 9 (05:56):
Yeah, still trying to get a misconnections later on because
you're you're better off.

Speaker 8 (06:00):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
Well, thank you, thank.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
You for listening, Thanks for calling in. Hi, Aaron, how
are you?

Speaker 4 (06:07):
I'm fantastic.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
How are you today?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Good?

Speaker 5 (06:09):
We're gonna play a game for some concert tickets, and
the game we're playing Peyton.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
It's called mic Drop, so it's really fun and you
guys have an opportunity to get three points per round
in this game.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
So we're gonna start with.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
You, John Jay, so you can get a point. I'm
gonna give you guys a word, and with that word,
you guys need to sing a song with said word.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
You can get a point for singing the song with
the word. You can get a point for having energy,
or you can get a point for picking the song
that I picked when I thought of this word. Okay,
round one justin Timberlake songs. So get your head in that.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
You give me a word, and I have to have
just a really song around that word.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Oh yeah, all right, John Jay, your word is rock
rock with you.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I'm gonna rock with you. No, that a game?

Speaker 4 (06:51):
Okay, he rocked it.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
No, that's Michael Jackson. No, No, said.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
That's not that's not rock with you anyway, Michael might have.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Got the words wrong.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
So he cousins will give.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
You a half point for that.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
You get two and a half point.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
That hurts a half points because that's why I said.
He gets a point for the energy. You get a
point for seeing the song. I heard rock with you,
So I'm giving you half point.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
It was kind of like three songs.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
It was.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
It really was.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
It was.

Speaker 4 (07:36):

Speaker 3 (07:52):

Speaker 4 (07:58):

First of all, there we go for Kyle, all right,
erin we move over to you. Your word is sexy.

Speaker 10 (08:26):

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Good job, all right, Rich Kyle and Aaron with three points,
John Jay with half a point, well, two and a
half points. Okay, okay, but you have a chance to
redeem yourself for a round two.

Speaker 9 (08:49):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
We're giving away now horrn tickets. So it's only like
in my due diligence to do a one direction round,
like duh, you know what I mean, So get your
mind into one.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
It might not be.

Speaker 4 (09:01):
One direction songs. It could be someone from one directions.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Okay, lots of options.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
We got five here, all right, John Jay, starting with you,
Your word is beautiful.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
She don't know she's beautiful, and that's what makes you.
That's a damn good song, a good step in the rotation.

All right, don Jay, you got three points right there,
finishing with five and a half points.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Rich, we move over to you.

fumbles the game.

Speaker 3 (09:54):

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Really Okay, okay, Kyle, moving on to you. Your word
is sugar.

Speaker 6 (10:05):

Speaker 8 (10:06):
Sugar sugar.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
That's a good song.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
Kyle is winning the game right now with six points.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
All right, Aaron, no pressure.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
You can photo a friend if you need to on
this one.

Speaker 7 (10:26):
But your word is slow, slow down, you move too fat.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
I was singing the song off the air great friend
that died each Other, My friend that died had a
song like that off the airs.

Speaker 7 (10:50):
I feel like that was your friend channeling.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
And then you just literally said the exact same words.
I just said, that's nuts. That was really true, and
peace Rob the card.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
That wasn't the song I was thinking of.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
But slow some nile horns slow, hen But honestly, Aaron,
the fact that like you channel Jauja in that way,

waking up with John Jay and.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Rich calls at six oh two eight eight eight, nineteen
thirty three.

Speaker 7 (11:39):
Hey, it's Nicky and San Antonio. And I was listening
to the podcast and I'm just wondering when John Day is.

Speaker 10 (11:45):
Going to finally not be new to coffee?

Speaker 7 (11:47):
Like, how long is this going to go on?

Speaker 4 (11:49):
For?

Speaker 5 (11:49):
Like a couple more years.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
For something that he's new Because by John day logic,
I am a new mom even though I have.

Speaker 7 (11:55):
An eight seven and two year old, also a new driver.
You know, I thought my license is seen it on
now thirty four? So how long is this going.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
To go on for.

Speaker 10 (12:05):
He's going to be nude to coffee?

Speaker 9 (12:07):
It's a good question.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Well, she misheard me because I say I'm nude to coffee.
I usually drink coffee in the nude. No, you know,
I don't know how to explain that because I don't
feel like I'm researching, Like I'm very happy with the
basic level of coffee.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
I just don't think you've accepted the fact that you're
a coffee.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Drinker, right, But I'm not.

Speaker 9 (12:24):
I think that's coffee taste gross every day.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Because my doctor told me to have it better.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Why drink because listen, just on Sunday morning, I was
at the Global Ambassador at this new restaurant.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
That open up.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
They're called I don't even have to say the name
let Man, like man let Man, and I had I
think I told you guys on air off air that
I had an espresso but the first time ever. Don't
you think a veteran coffee drinker would know what that is?

Speaker 6 (12:50):
No?

Speaker 4 (12:50):
I mean, yeah, I've never had coffee with sugar in it.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
I've never had cream, and I've never had one of those.
I've never had one of those.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
So I said, So when I go up there, I
ask sometimes I go up and by the way, when
you go to like Starbucks and you ask for I'll say,
can I get Can I get a coffee with an
espresso shot?

Speaker 6 (13:09):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (13:09):
You want a red eye? Oh? I don't know. I
thought it was an espresso shot two spress shots. Oh
that's an Americano.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
You're like, I'm new to the coffee world.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
I'm new to the coffee world. I want to call
I'm going to call it. It's a black coffee. I
think I knew to the coffee world.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
Really not so, I think I am.

Speaker 8 (13:25):
I think it's been what two years since you've been
drinking coffee every day.

Speaker 5 (13:29):
I think it's been a little under that, because I've
had my doctor for two years and I just started.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
I started the coffee thing about a year and a
half ago. I think.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
So San Antonio's question enough for a while now.

Speaker 8 (13:38):
But if you go by like wedding rules, aren't you
a newlywed just for the first year? How long are
you a newlywed?

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I think wedding rules new but it's two years.

Speaker 8 (13:46):
I think, okay, so maybe you maybe at the end
of the second year you can retire being new.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
To the cone, because then if somebody asked me a
cofee question, I don't have the answer because I'm new
to the coffee.

Speaker 9 (13:55):
Yes, Noah, drinking the Americano during the bed head days,
is that correct?

Speaker 5 (14:01):
I don't know what it was called, because I was
even newer to the coffee world back then.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Was like I was a freshman in high school, Dad.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Era, Okay, but I was getting green tea way I
was getting green tea, green.

Speaker 11 (14:15):
Tea in the medicine ball and then it transitioned into coffee.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
And I was listening to the podcast every day and
I was I was a freshman.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
A hold on a minute, that was cold brow, I was, no,
but no coffee to me is a hot coffee.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Anyway, I don't know what he's saying this way, I'm
not learning any more about coffee. That you're always new, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
Exactly, exactly, Like I still say I'm new to the
basketball world because I've been My son's been playing basketball
se was two.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
That's ridiculous, And I don't.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Feel comfortable having a conversation with people about basketball.

Speaker 9 (14:50):
Well, I think you don't feel con comfortable having a
conversation with people period.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Thank you, Kayla, Hi, you're on the air.

Speaker 10 (14:57):
High Hi, Okay, John Jam totally on your side with
this one. So think of it like you have kids,
your parent, You have a ten year old boy, and
then suddenly you have a daughter. Even for you, like
if you had a daughter tomorrow, you suddenly had a daughter.
You're a new parent to a girl. Yes, you've been
a parent for ten years, but now you have a
daughter instead of a boy. So that makes you still

(15:19):
new to it.

Speaker 8 (15:20):
You are awesome because it's the same thing for the
last two years.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Yeah, and I've been raising his daughter for two years.
I'm raising his daughter for two years. I don't know
how to do it right.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
I don't know how to pick tails.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
I just don't think you can compare coffee raising children.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
I see that comparison.

Speaker 8 (15:36):
If like he went from drinking like like a frappuccino
to last too, like a regular cup of coffee.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Maybe what is I don't know what that is. It
doesn't matter because because I to coffee world.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
That's just not what you order. You know.

Speaker 11 (15:53):
I'm with you, John, thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
I'm with you. Cayla, thank you, thank you. Have a
great day. Thank you for listening.
