Happy Awkward Moments Day. You guys, Happy Awkward Moments Day.
We want to get into awkward moments have happened to
you every day or every once in a while? Call
us at eight seven, seven, nine, three seven, one o
four seven. A recent poll look at various awkward situations
on a scale of one to ten, and all these
people gave these top moments that I have here the

(00:21):
top awkward moments that could possibly happen to us. But
before I get to this list, eight seven, seven, nine,
three seven and one O four seven, Jessica, what do
you have for an awkward moment?

Speaker 2 (00:31):
My awkward moment is when you're like at a party,
like it's probably or to be showering your opening gifts
in front of everyone or just staring at you.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Yeah, I have to be like overly excited about every
single gift otherwise like that person's going to feel bad.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
My mom growing up never let us open presence at
our birthday party. She was like, nobody wants to see that.
First of all, they don't care. Also, like what if
you like, you know, you know, when you're a kid
and you don't like something and you kind of just
like throw it.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
I never let my kids open gifts in front of people.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Yep, exactly, because you never know. Yeah, I've already had this,
exactly exactly.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
I don't think that's what you say.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
I think you say thank you. That's exactly. You and
my mom are the same guy.

Speaker 6 (01:07):
The awkwardness of waiting for people to sing that that
happy birthday song to you, it's very awkward to what
do you do? Start you sing along with it? Then
you're not part of it.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
You're not the smile.

Speaker 7 (01:20):
Jessica. By the way, that's not on the list either.
One of those. Those are great. Those are great, exactly.

Speaker 8 (01:24):
Question really quick, go ahead, sound hi you guys?

Speaker 7 (01:27):
Sure? What's his name?

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Colin?

Speaker 8 (01:31):
He no, I have some quarters?

Speaker 7 (01:37):
Sure what.

Speaker 6 (01:39):
Takes quarters anymore?

Speaker 7 (01:43):
Fair enough?

Speaker 4 (01:44):
You see Rich on the side of the road asking
for all his money.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Thanks for listening, Thomas, Good morning. What's an awkward moment?
What do you have?

Speaker 9 (01:52):
Good morning? There's one time I went on a ok
and when I got there, I didn't recognize this person.
And then we did our team and afterwards, when we
were all done, they were like, Hey, aren't you so
and so and you used to live here? And at
this one case, I was like, oh, shoot, yeah about that?

(02:17):
Who are you?

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Can you explain the hookup part? Like, what do you
mean you had a hookup? Was this through through a grinder?

Speaker 7 (02:23):
App?

Speaker 9 (02:24):
Through an app?

Speaker 7 (02:25):
Yeah? Which app Yes, it was a grinder all right?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
So you go, you meet a dude, you go and
you tear it up and then the dude's like, I
recognize you.

Speaker 9 (02:34):
Yeah, apparently we had hooked up in the past.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Okay, yeah, we just you know what.

Speaker 7 (02:42):
That's not on this list, but I can see. Thanks, Thomas,
I have one.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
What I feel like, I feel like I'm not alone
in this. But you guys ever been in like Dutch
Bros recently? And you know how they're like, oh, so
excited to talk to you when you're having like the
worst day ever and you're like crying and you're like
so upset and all you want is a rebel and
you roll and you roll up to Dutch Bros. They're like, hey, girl,
how are you? And you got tears in your eye?
We're about to crash out. So awkward because I just

(03:12):
have to like act I'm okay and I'm not.

Speaker 7 (03:14):
I haven't been to Dutch Brothers in a long long time.
That's what they say to you when you pull.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Up there, they like want to know everything about you.
They like, yeah, oh my god, yeah you would a.

Speaker 10 (03:22):
Want to go.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
It's like the whole thing about Dutch bros. How friendly
they are.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
The worst day and the thing is is.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Like no one should talk to anyone like that before
coffee and you're in line probably to get caught right.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I go to I get smoothies at one Stop Nutrition
and I've caught on now that my son used to
work there where they they ask you we got going
on today?

Speaker 7 (03:42):
And every time I'm.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
Like, oh god, I just don't give this smoothie.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Well that's on Dutch Bros. Time's twenty Yeah, oh my god.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah, well that's not on this list either. Eight seven
seven ninety three seven one four seven. Share with us
your awkward moment, and then I'll go over the list
and see if what you have matches this eight seven
seven nine three seven one o four seven.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
The awkward moment you've been through? That is next with
John Jay and rich.

Speaker 10 (04:09):
Yem.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
You want to know about your awkward moment.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
We're taking phone calls every full night is lit up
and Nick was busy answered phone, so I decided to
grab a phone and this woman answered, I pick up
and she's got this great at the beginning of his story,
and I just stop her. I said stop. She was, no,
I don't want to go on the radio. You tell
the story. I said, no, I'll give you a fake name.
So everyone say hello to Larry. Hello, Hi, Larry, Hey, Larry.

Speaker 7 (04:44):
Right, what's your awkward moment?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
So years ago, back in the day of cam Quarters,
my in law came home from a cruise and gathered
the entire family around the TV to show them video
of their cruise, and accidentally instead started playing their sex
video in the cruise cabin.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Oh my gosh, they were probably dy.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
How did they not work that out beforehand?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
It I saw an area of my mother in law
that only her gynecologists have seen.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
They probably couldn't even get off the TV.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
There it was. She was right up in there she was,
and it was it was insanity. Everyone was silent, And
of course I was the only one who was super
inappropriate and busted off, like, you know, silly.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Comments and whatnot.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
If I were I would go right back out to
see and never come back.

Speaker 11 (05:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
And they had like their ten year old son in
a two and so when it was just like the
older It was like the older siblings that were like
early twenties, but as well, they had their youngest son
in the room too, so he was probably scarred for life.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Oh my god, And how do you even recover from that?
Like they're you're in laws, so you're going to see
him over and over and over again.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
Is it?

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Has it gotten to the point where you can joke
about it now?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Oh yeah, every time I have the opportunity to bring
it up, I do.

Speaker 7 (06:12):
Did you ever say anything like hey, you gotta start waxing?

Speaker 2 (06:19):
It's definitely a good one.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Okay, thank you so much Larry for calling, and I'm
glad you were you jumped.

hidden by mister creeper man that you really don't want
to be hit on by and you tell me you
have a husband, and you're then three year old sticks
his head out the window and said who is your mom?
And I was like, I'm looking at him like you
know who your father is?

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Thank you, Sarah. Carrie, what's your awkward moment?

Speaker 7 (06:58):
Carrie? Carrie, Hi, Hi.

Speaker 11 (07:00):
My awkward moment is I'm a bus driver and we
have a breakroom at work and sometimes you know you
feel a little gassy. Well, this one time I knew
I was feeling gassy and I couldn't make it to
the other side of the room to get to the door,
and I passed gas in front of my whole bus
driving crew, so embarrassing.

Speaker 7 (07:21):
Not a silent but deadly.

Speaker 11 (07:23):
No, not a silent but deadly. You just like kind
of squeeze and I hope you're gonna make it to
the door, and man, it sucks.

Speaker 7 (07:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
The walk the walk, The walk to can be allowed
one right?

Speaker 11 (07:34):
The walk the walk, And they sure did turn some heads.
And I was, you know, you trying to make a
noise with it, like rumble your keys.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Okay, thank you very much, Carrie Roxanne.

Speaker 7 (07:49):
What's your awkward moment?

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Right?

Speaker 8 (07:53):
I I I went to school one day. Then I
then I accidentally packed the wrong person.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
You thought they were your friends?

Speaker 8 (08:02):
Yeah? Then I then I then I thought that they
were my friends, but but they weren't.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
That is an awkward moment.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
You're like, never mind, I don't tell you.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
Wait to go across the street.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
It's a good way to make new friends. Though, did
you guys become friends after that?

Speaker 8 (08:17):
No?

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Maybe next time, embarrassing Richie.

Speaker 7 (08:23):
All right, well, thank you for calling in.

Speaker 8 (08:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (08:30):
John Jya Richard.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
There's a text back in the early two thousands, our
friend wanted to film a survivor application video, so my
wife brought out the camcorder into work to film the
video on it in the offices. She started the video
to find out where she could start recording. The video
was of his wife performing something they're very similar to
the first Colley Dig, but in front of all the
