Speaker 2 (00:25):
Sucks, John Jay and Rich Tuesday, January twenty one, twenty
twenty five. It's a whole new world. Now got a
new president. We got a whole new TikTok app Call
us eight seven seven nine three seven one oh four
seven text us, text jj R and whatever you want

(00:45):
to say to nine six eight nine three. My son
Dutch yesterday says to me he had a bunch of
friends over watching a football game, the college football game,
and he goes, He goes, Dad, did you delete the
TikTok app? And I was like, no, I mean I
never got around to it. I would have, you know,
after tikto went away, I would have and uh, he goes,
we deleted it.

Speaker 6 (01:03):
Now we can't get it back.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
That's what happened to me.

Speaker 6 (01:06):
Oh really, YouTube Peyton No, I of course.

Speaker 7 (01:07):
I didn't delete it. I had faith that tiktokick.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (01:11):
I called that.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
I was like, there's no way that it's going to
be down, Like too many people want access to TikTok
I didn't think it was gonna happen Saturday night. I mean,
I was pretty shocked when it did get shut down,
but I was like, Okay, this will be back up
and running. I don't know when, but it'll be back.
But I had a handful of friends that deleted the
app but couldn't get access back to it.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah. I just checked a few minutes ago. You still
can't download it from the app store, at least if
you have an iPhone. I don't know what it's like
for Android. But well, my daughter came screaming down the stairs.
She's like, it's good, it's good.

Speaker 9 (01:39):
TikTok is good.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I'm like, all right, well, let's just ditch it from
the phone, and now I can't get it back.

Speaker 10 (01:43):
Why would you ditch it from the phone.

Speaker 11 (01:45):
Like everything I heard was like, if you delete it,
you're not gonna get it back.

Speaker 10 (01:48):
If you keep it, you can still use it other apps.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
I would delete from my phone before I get TikTok.
So she says, it's so topical. I kind of wait
a little bit.

Speaker 11 (01:56):
Yeah, I know, and I wanted to see, like I
kept checking back and I kept having like the message
pop up, you know, like unfortunately you can't use it
at this time or whatever it said, And then I
checked back in. I hadn't seen online that it was back,
and I was like, it's back.

Speaker 10 (02:11):
So quick. It was like the shortest ban ever.

Speaker 8 (02:13):
It really was super quick.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
But I've got to say, when I realized that cap
cut was also shut.

Speaker 8 (02:19):
Down with TikTok, I was like, Okay, this is where
I draw the line.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
I like, that is how my edit all of my
videos is capcut, So how dare you take cap cut
for me?

Speaker 8 (02:28):
I didn't care about TikTok that much. Cap cut come.

Speaker 11 (02:31):
On, I know, And as of yesterday it was still down,
but as of this morning, you can use cap cut again. Yes,
it's I guess. I didn't know it was owned by TikTok.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I didn't either.

Speaker 10 (02:40):
I mean, I know you could go straight to TikTok
with your edits, but I had no idea. And I
was like, no, that's so sad.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
You know that Lemonade stopped working too, But I think
that's back too. Yes, I just thought they were done.
You know how I am.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
TikTok was gone.

Speaker 8 (03:00):
Cousin Calli cried.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
I was on FaceTime with my auntie Gina, and she
shared her screen with me, and it's literally a video
of my eleven year old cousin Calli with real tears
down her face.

Speaker 8 (03:11):
How could they take it from us?

Speaker 7 (03:13):
It was so funny because I'm like the drama like
chill out girl. But honestly, I thought it was pretty
interesting to see the day leading up to TikTok all
of the influencers, like you had Alex Earl literally crying
on TikTok because she felt like all of her work
over the last five six years was going away forever.

Speaker 8 (03:30):
So I found that pretty interesting.

Speaker 10 (03:32):
I found it really interesting.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Oh, your voice went away, difficulties it happened to carry
into it, so we actually fiddle back.

Speaker 10 (03:45):
I know that's so true.

Speaker 11 (03:46):
Yeah, No, it was just funny to see on reels
everyone was like, I guess we live here now doesn't
stick totally on?

Speaker 7 (03:52):
Yeah, I was telling you guys, like early last week
that there was this TN going on, But I was
curious if you guys saw it, because it like really
blew up on the last on the eighteenth TikTok or whatever.
And it was these influencers who are basically coming out
and sharing their secrets that their accounts.

Speaker 10 (04:07):
Are based on live.

Speaker 8 (04:08):
So it's like you have these people.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
Who do muck bangs and they're like, actually I don't
eat all of the food I chew and then I
spin it out.

Speaker 11 (04:15):
Like the fitness people are like, I actually never did
all the workouts that I do.

Speaker 7 (04:18):
So like for it would be like for us, like,
actually the chip story isn't our favorite.

Speaker 8 (04:24):
It's who Larry like that.

Speaker 7 (04:25):
It's like it was like that kind of stuff. But
I'm like the instant regret that some of these influencers
because they basically.

Speaker 8 (04:32):
Just threw themselves under the bus.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Now, why would I probably follow you.

Speaker 8 (04:35):
If you're not authentic?

Speaker 1 (04:36):
They probably thought it's over anyway, I might as well
tell you the deal.

Speaker 8 (04:39):
The exact thought process.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Well, I didn't expect the muck band people to eat
the whole crab, some of them, did you know. I
figured they'd eat some of it and then they cut
like you know what I mean, Like, I didn't it
show business?

Speaker 6 (04:49):
Yeah, but I didn't see any of that stuff. That
doesn't surprise me.

Speaker 8 (04:51):
Oh my gosh. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
The fitness ones, so I think are ones that threw
people through.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
Yeah, So it's like.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I said, I guess Carrie on Wood had technical difficulties, right,
she was what happened?

Speaker 6 (04:59):
She was supposed to live sync to America Beautiful.

Speaker 10 (05:01):
What's the thing, America the Beautiful?

Speaker 11 (05:02):
But they they like whoever was doing the audio couldn't
cueue up the music, like they played the wrong song,
and then it was just like silence, like dead silence,
the most awkward silence, because poor Carrie Underwood had this
whole room of all these like government people just sitting
staring at her, and then she just decided, you know what,
forget it. I was on American Idol. I'm used to
seeing acapella.

Speaker 10 (05:22):
I'll just go for it.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
You see your lipsia, she says, she goes, she goes,
I can just do it live, is what she says,
and then boom oh.

Speaker 11 (05:31):
Full for faceious guys for and booa.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
I think this is so incredible.

Speaker 11 (05:44):
I almost think like that version was probably better than
whatever other version with music they had prepared.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
But when you're watching it, I watched her and I
was like, man, she really is the Americans the problem.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Like she really is. Then, did you see billarys irrus?

Speaker 9 (05:58):
No?

Speaker 6 (05:58):
Oh, you guys didn't.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
I didn't see him.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Well, let me play for you. He had an epic
disaster of a performance at the Liberty Ball following the inauguration.
He's trying to play old Town Road.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
I'm gonna take my halls to the old Town Road.
I'm gone.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I can't.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
No, mo, y'all could put your hands together, and now
I like that if you encourage about keep going. They
told me to kill as much time as possible. So
because anybody know the words, he can breaking the heart. Well, man,
child a little bit. Let's see what Hey is my
guitar still on?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
I think they cut me off.

Speaker 11 (06:35):
Oh it sounds really old, that poor guy, because he's saying,
they told me to try to kill as.

Speaker 10 (06:43):
Much time as possible.

Speaker 11 (06:44):
So whatever whatever he had planned was probably already done.
And they're like, stretch Billy rays the worst time.

Speaker 10 (06:51):
He's like, I don't know, I didn't prepare.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Now he sounds like that. You've seen the Miley video
that's going around where she's like, oh, that's rough anyway.
So shoot us a text text JJR whatever you want
to say to nine six eight nine three.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
Kyle, what's coming up with three things we need to know?

Speaker 11 (07:09):
I'm going to tell you how Instagram actually answered to
the TikTok ban with a brand new app.

Speaker 10 (07:17):
Next with John jaym Rich, John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 12 (07:20):
This is Donald Trump and you are fired Gowan. John
Jay and Rich are live on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Kyl and fugg. Kyle you that's a severance reference, Kyle you?
What do you got for three things we need to know?

Speaker 11 (07:35):
So, as of yesterday it was inauguration Dave. Donald Trump
is once again the president forty fifth and forty seventh
officially yesterday Swarna and at the Capitalist ceremony was attended
by all four living former US presidents, Joe Biden, Barack Obama,
George W.

Speaker 10 (07:49):
Bush and Bill Clinton.

Speaker 11 (07:51):
At seventy eight years old, Trump is now the oldest
president ever inaugurated, surpassing Biden's age four years ago by
five months. Vice President Advance is forty.

Speaker 10 (08:01):
It's like, so they.

Speaker 11 (08:02):
Got all the all the ranges of the age there
you have like his little kids at the inauguration. It
was so cute those kids told to I was like,
I don't know what his little daughter's name is, but
she's like America's Princess Charlotte.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
She had she had band aids on her figures. She
sucking her thumb as mom was holding her. I was
so cute.

Speaker 11 (08:20):
Arguably, though, it was Melania's hat that stole the show
at the inauguration.

Speaker 10 (08:25):
Online everyone was.

Speaker 11 (08:26):
Saying everything from what a gorgeous icon comparing her to
comparing her to Michael Jackson Smith Criminal music video and
McDonald Tambert Hamburglar also good.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Also Jim Carrey the Mask.

Speaker 10 (08:39):
And then there's that Spy Versus Spy cartoon.

Speaker 11 (08:42):
Oh yeah, either way, I love what the Internet picks
out Sometimes. Hours after being sworn in, President Trump signed
an executive order to delay a total TikTok ban. As
you know, the TikTok ban only lasted about fourteen hours,
but because he signed this on, TikTok won't be banned
for another seventy five days. So this will give America

(09:03):
a grace period.

Speaker 10 (09:04):
He said.

Speaker 11 (09:04):
This gives a new administration a chance to protect national
security while avoiding an abrupt shutdown of a communications platform
used by millions of Americans.

Speaker 10 (09:12):
The order says.

Speaker 11 (09:13):
TikTok cannot make any transactions over the next forty five days.
I know, if you follow mister Beast, mister Beast was
just on a private plane yesterday saying he was submitting
his official offer to buy TikTok. Will loped away and
see what happens over the next seventy five days. So
I know TikTokers were all like, it's bag, and it
was like just for sometenty five days, you have to

(09:34):
wait to see what happens.

Speaker 10 (09:35):
So again, well, the.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Dude from TikTok, the president was there at the inauguration.
Do you see that?

Speaker 10 (09:40):
I didn't see that.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
He was there? Who all the all the billionairess.

Speaker 10 (09:45):
I did see Zuckerberg.

Speaker 11 (09:46):
I saw Zuckerberg looking at Bezos his wife's Oh yeah,
I saw that chestel regions.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
Well, I heard what she wore was inappropriate to wear
it to inauguration. I heard it was like lingerie or yeah,
let's blame.

Speaker 10 (09:55):
Her for him, like looking at her boobs.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Oh no, no, no, I'm saying that what she from what
I've read it is like what she wore was like wow,
you don't wear that to inauguration?

Speaker 10 (10:03):
No, I mean it was a little booby. It was
a little movie. But I just the picture is really funny.

Speaker 11 (10:08):
If Mark Zuckerberg, he's like really looking next to him
that they're sitting down, it was when they were sitting
they were sitting down next to each other.

Speaker 10 (10:16):
Either way. Because TikTok was shut down. Also, we talked
about it this morning.

Speaker 11 (10:21):
Cap cut was shut down, and in answer to that,
Instagram was like, don't worry about it. We've got a
new app for you if cap cut goes away. Instagram
has their new app called Instagram Edits, which will be
an editing app just like cap Cut. It's available for
pre order in the Apple App Store, but will soon

(10:42):
be available on androids.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
They should have had that ready to go.

Speaker 11 (10:45):
I know, I know, I don't know if they just
thought maybe the band wouldn't actually happen, or maybe they
just couldn't be the perfecting things in the app. But
it's not totally ready, but it is ready for pre order.
And that's three things you need to know.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
Toroscope time, Peyton, what's the vibe today?

Speaker 8 (10:58):
A quarious season is here.

Speaker 7 (10:59):
So I'm going to tell you what you can expect

John Jaye Rich the prediction vibe Peyton.

Speaker 7 (11:22):
It's Aquarius season, so I'm going to tell you what
you can expect over the next few weeks based on
your zodiac sign.

Speaker 6 (11:29):

Speaker 13 (11:32):
Scorpio?

Speaker 7 (11:33):
Okay, So for my Scorpios, this Aquarius season, your energy
is stirring up your inner rebel, so you're out here
making power moves in silence and plotting your next big thing. Scorpios,
So this Aquarius season keeps slaying, but maybe don't ghost
your entire friend group just to quote unquote focus.

Speaker 9 (11:52):
Sounds r definitely make it changes.

Speaker 10 (11:55):
So that's on that for sure.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Thanks Heather, have a great day.

Speaker 12 (12:00):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Hey, Ruby, what's your sign?

Speaker 13 (12:04):
I am a Taurus?

Speaker 9 (12:05):
John Day, Taurus.

Speaker 8 (12:07):
Okay, I got you, Ruby, Yes, Taurus.

Speaker 7 (12:09):
You guys are actually giving confused vibes this Aquarius season.
You're out here trying to vibe in peace. But Aquarius
season is like, let's shake things up, so expect random
FaceTime calls and spontaneous plans, but make sure that you
stay calm, because you might low key thrive if you
just loosen up a little bit.

Speaker 10 (12:26):
Oh my god, I'm gonna do that.

Speaker 8 (12:30):
Yeah, it's okay, good, good good.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Thanks Ruby, have a great day than you too, Vi, Nicole,
what's your sign morning?

Speaker 13 (12:40):
I'm a Gemini Geminis.

Speaker 7 (12:41):
You guys are giving electric vibes. Aquarius energy is basically
your twin flame Geminis. Your dms are gonna be popping,
and your ideas are flowing, and your meme game is
gonna be unmatched. Just don't get so caught up being
the life of the party that you forget to reply
to that one super important text.

Speaker 13 (12:58):
Oh wow, Yeah, and you're right, there is an Aquarius
who's my twin flame.

Speaker 8 (13:02):
Oh my gosh, it was.

Speaker 13 (13:04):
His name is now his name is John Grivis because
he's from Mamic and we we actually we made a
universal breakthrough. I'm actually waiting for Trump to let me go.
I'm a victim of SBI legal activity nine years now.
Oh so, I hope you guys can put out some
positive vibes out there for me.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Sure, all right, you've got it, Nicole, positive vibes for you.
Hope that they set you free.

Speaker 13 (13:28):
Thank you for calling in, Thank you, Bobby.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
How about four pisces?

Speaker 8 (13:32):
Yeah, Pisces rich.

Speaker 7 (13:34):
This Aquarius season is giving day dream vibe for you.
So your Aquarius season has your head in the clouds
and your creativity is going to be off the charts.

Speaker 8 (13:43):
But if we're going to be real, you have.

Speaker 7 (13:44):
Ghosted every group chat for some me time, so make
sure that you respond before they send those question marks
where are you rich messages?

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Yeah, the group text get a little too answer me.

Speaker 8 (13:54):
Well, you need to text your friends back again.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
It's okay if you peece out of a group text,
that lets people know it's time to shut it down.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
How about for libras for Kyle?

Speaker 7 (14:02):
Yeah, Kyle, you're getting flirty vibes this Aquarius season. Your
aesthetic playground is going to be off the chart, so
expect your Instagram story game to be on point. Your
dms are going to be suspiciously full, and remember not
every situation ship is meant to be a love story,
so make sure that you're swiping responsibly.

Speaker 8 (14:19):
If you're a Libra and you're out there on those.

Speaker 11 (14:21):
Apps, right, No, situationships for me, No, you're married very much.

Speaker 10 (14:27):
Yeah, relationship.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
How about Virgo?

Speaker 7 (14:29):
Yeah, virgo, John Jay, you're giving organized chaos vibes. So
Aquarius season is giving you this love hate responsor or
this love hate relationship with being spontaneous. On one hand,
you want to stick to your perfectly crafted twenty twenty
five vision board, but on the other hand, chaos is
calling go towards the chaos.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Okay, how about you for Leos?

Speaker 7 (14:48):
Yeah, so for Leo's this Aquarius season, we are giving
main character vibes. Aquarius season is going to hit us
with the realization that we are not the only star
in the galaxy, and we honestly hate that. But plot
twist collaboration is going to be a Leo's new flex,
so we can shine together, and we just got to
make sure we don't make it all about us.

Speaker 8 (15:06):
And if you're a Leo, make sure you go find.

Speaker 7 (15:08):
Yourself an Aquarius because they're the exact opposite of us
on the zodiac sign and we are the perfect matches.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
All right.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
If we get to your sign there, I'll post it up.
John Day and Riches dot com. What's this? We have
this audio of your boyfriend Kadeen, Yes, what's the setup?

Speaker 8 (15:21):
My Aquarius at home?

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Love?

Speaker 7 (15:23):
So we were at home and it was about eight
thirty pm on Saturday night, I think is when TikTok
shut down.

Speaker 8 (15:30):
And this is an audio of.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
My boyfriend Kadem finding out that the TikTok band actually happened.

Speaker 8 (15:38):
You didn't think that it was for real?

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Wow, that's stupid.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Too, dude?

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Who did that?

Speaker 8 (15:53):
Who did that? Actually did that? I was like, I'm
pretty sure it was.

Speaker 7 (15:58):
The US Senate or something like that. But the reaction
of like what am I gonna do? Was the exact reaction.
I feel like everyone in my circle hat like what
else are we gonna use? What else are we gonna
find her information on? Like we need help here.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
I love don SNL. When they were talking about it
and the guys like, what am I supposed to do?
When I'm watching a movie?

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Now?

Speaker 1 (16:16):
They're like, you're supposed to watch the movie. It's like no, no,
during a couple of seconds that there's not something happening.
What am I supposed to do now?

Speaker 2 (16:22):
It's so sad, it's so true.

Speaker 7 (16:24):
Like I got on Twitter and I'm pretty active on
Twitter too. I have to look on there for new
stuff for work or whatever. I had sent a video
to my friend Kelsey like four months ago, when she
just got back to me on Twitter because she like
never uses it anymore.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
This is funny. You said your scroll on Twitter for work?
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (16:44):
I mean, I have to find coach.

Speaker 11 (16:49):
They step this way, step the way, they step this way,
step the way.

Speaker 9 (16:54):
Hello Alicia, Hello, and and Rich uh uh. Just wanted
to get a prayer today because I'm going for an
interview within my job to move up and I need
a prayer.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Let's go. We'll throw you a prayer right now. We'll
work you in what kind what kind of work?

Speaker 9 (17:16):
Medical insurance? Oh not not United?

Speaker 10 (17:23):
I know probably. Now everyone looks at you a little like.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
That was yeah, well.

Speaker 9 (17:32):
Yeah, yeah I don't. Uh, I don't tell everyone what
I do.

Speaker 6 (17:37):
So that is it because of that where you like
that before? Just because of that the killing.

Speaker 9 (17:44):
A little like that before, but more so now.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Wow, okay, everyone, we should get you ready for your interview.
Let's we should ask her a hard question that they
might throw.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
The question was your life?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Well, what you should do is if they ask if
you have any questions, you should say, is there anything
about my application or resume. That is a concern to you,
so you can you can quatch that right away and
then you can promote it.

Speaker 12 (18:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
So what would you say is your weakest strength?

Speaker 9 (18:19):
I kind of go overboard. I pay attention to detail
so much that I take too much time trying to
stick stat and not you know, move quick enough. So
that would be my greatest weakness.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
That's pretty good because she actually needed to it. She
didn't say I cared so much about detail that I
focus on the detail, because that's giving yourself a compliment.
She actually leaned into the problem. What was the question
they asked on severance when the answer was delaware?

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Was it?

Speaker 6 (18:48):
Can you name any of the fifty states?

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Okay, I'm going to try that, Alicia. Can you name
any of the fifty states Arizona?

Speaker 6 (18:58):
Oh my god?

Speaker 2 (18:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (19:00):
Congratulations?

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Is that what they said? She passed perfect?

Speaker 2 (19:04):
It was a perfect score. Yeah, all right, thanks to
have a great day.

Speaker 9 (19:08):
Luck YouTube, Thank you appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Rich What you got for life?

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Hacks today, The banana hack that can change your bad
day to a good day.

Speaker 6 (19:18):
Stacks and hacks coming up next with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Hey got a wake up?

Speaker 8 (19:26):
John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Wake you up, John Jay and Rich, text us text
jj R and whatever's on your mind to nine six
eight ninety three. Here's a text six h five number
John Jay and Rich. What is the name of Kyle's
planner again?

Speaker 10 (19:39):
It is the Clever Fox. It's really cute.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Not to be confused with Kyle's other brand she wears
called the White Fox. Oh yeah, here's how to trick
your kid into eating healthy. Researchers in Germany read fairy
tales to little kids where the hero was saved by
eating magical fruits and veggies. It made them more likely
to want fresh produce, and eighty percent were still eating

(20:06):
more fruits and vegetables after the study was done.

Speaker 11 (20:08):
There's a little book called Sneaky Spinach and it as
actually about like the kid getting superpowers by eating spinach
and the mom sneaks it into the morning smoothie, and
my kids wanted spinach and their smoothies after that.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
You see spinish all time because of Popeye.

Speaker 10 (20:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
A study on contagious urination found that it happens to chimps.
One chimp sees another chimpee and makes them need to go.
Researchers think it could be evolutionary thing to promote social bonding.

Speaker 8 (20:37):
It's like when people yawn, it's a contagious.

Speaker 6 (20:40):
Yeah, it's compared to how people, especially women, sometimes go
to the bathroom together.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
I get a peek. Let's go.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Oh, that's an interesting point.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
A new study looked at into what your job says
about your psychological health. They found that schizophrenia was most
prevalent in social workers, and anorexia shows up mostly in teachers.
USA Today did a post about the sixth thing you
should never live in your car when it's below freezing outside.

Speaker 6 (21:04):
I understand there's like a hardcore winter storm.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Yeah, if you're then, in fact, in the South, they're
expecting a sixty six oh year snow in a generational
freezing or something to be bad.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
And here's what you don't leave in your car if
it's below freezing outside. Aerosol cans, canned food, eggs, electronics, medication,
and loved ones.

Speaker 6 (21:26):
You guys ever heard of the term ile lice? Ile lice?

Speaker 2 (21:30):
We all know it. It's those people who try to
push ahead to get off the flight before it's their
turn aile lice. Champagne sales have continued to slide worldwide.
I wonder why, especially as it was just New Year's
you guys heard of the Blue Monday challenge. Blue Monday

(21:52):
was yesterday, and it's supposed to be like the most
depressing day of the year for some for whatever reason.
So now in response to Blue Monday, there's a positivity
campaign was launched the Netherlands for people to not complain
for thirty days. They say it'll shift your perspective from
all the whining, moaning and negativity.

Speaker 11 (22:08):
I like that, Like I tell my kids, change your
attitude to gratitude.

Speaker 10 (22:15):
They don't like when I say that.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
There used to be a poster when I was like
in elementary school that I remember because I would just
stare at it all the time, and it said, your
attitude determines your altitude.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
True latitude fix what not latitude? Because that rhymes attitude.
Your attitude determined your latitude rhymes better.

Speaker 6 (22:33):
Netflix?

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Did they really pay Cameron Diaz how much it paid
her for that movie they dropped on Netflix. I'm with
Jamie Fox forty five million dollars.

Speaker 11 (22:40):
WHOA, she's been like, I've been retired, So if you
want me in a movie, you're gonna take it.

Speaker 10 (22:45):
Forty five million, and they're like okay, She's like okay.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I guess I thought she was cute. I liked it.

Speaker 8 (22:50):
I couldn't get into it, really.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
I mean, it is it is silly, but so what the.

Speaker 8 (22:54):
Beginning of it, I was like, pass, I'm out.

Speaker 7 (22:57):
I fell asleep, and then I tried to go back
to it and I was like pass.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
I'm yeah. It was just a good time for me.
I liked it terrible. I didn't say it was good.
I said I liked it.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
You said she was cute.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
It was good.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
She's cute.

Speaker 7 (23:09):
Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz are good. So it's fine
to watch from that, but like the storyline awful.

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Oh yeah, I mean it's stupid. The actor it was stupid.
It was stupid. The whole thing was stupid. I watched
the whole thing. I was getting an IV drip and
it took too long the ivy drips. I end up
pressing play and watching, sitting through it, and I go,
I can't believe this, and I'm like, I'm insulted again.
It's one of those movies you get insulted. It's so stupid. Anyway,
what do you have for life?

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Hacks Rich let's talk about the power of the banana.
Does anybody not love bananas in this room?

Speaker 3 (23:37):
I do not.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
You do not love bananas.

Speaker 8 (23:39):
I love the smell of bananas, but I can't eat one.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Let me change your mind about the banana, because it
could change your day, especially if you're a rotten moon babe. Okay,
if you're in a rotten mood. Never underestimate the power
of the banana. They contain trip to fan. It's an
amino acid that the body converts into serotonin, short version
of that. It makes you feel better. It can change
your mood in seconds. So you know how they say

(24:02):
apples wake you up faster than caffeine. Bananas put you
in a better mood, more than any drug that you
can take. So eat a banana.

Speaker 7 (24:10):
Yes, you know what also puts me in a good mood.
An espresso martini.

Speaker 8 (24:13):
I'm not eating a banana.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
But we don't have those free in the kitchen here
at the iHeartRadio suites, we do have free bananas. I
haven't worked out any espresso martini trade anyway. So have
a banana this morning or an espresso martini, whichever works
for you, and all those the hacks can be fund
at John Jaynrich dot com.

Speaker 14 (24:31):
Have an idea for the show.

Speaker 7 (24:33):
Listen on the iHeartRadio app and hit that microphone button
to talk back to us.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
It's John Jay and Rich shoot us at tax text
JJR whatever you want to say to nine six eight
nine three. Will Donald Trump be a badass president? We'll
see until then. Here are the thirteenth most badass movie presidents.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
Oh, I can pick my favorite right now. Harrison Ford
Air Force one Boom. That's number one, of course.

Speaker 8 (24:58):
Not Jamie Foxx and House Down.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yes. Number three. Number two is Bill Pullman an Independence Day,
But Harrison Ford badass President. What was your New Year's resolution, Kyle?
What's the new new new new resolution?

Speaker 11 (25:11):
Yeah, so I don't do my New Year's resolutions January.
First throughout January, I just keep adding resolutions.

Speaker 10 (25:17):
As I think of them.

Speaker 11 (25:18):
And so over the weekend, I'm like, you know what,
I have so many pictures on my phone, like probably
fifty thousand pictures on my phone right now, and I
don't do anything with them. Like I've really slowed down
posting on my fee because I felt like it was
like too much. But now I feel like I should
probably just post on my feet, because who cares if
it's too much, I should just do it. But I

(25:39):
want to print them out because I used to be
really good about doing albums, like I have an album
from my wedding, from my honeymoon, from my first year
trip with my husband. I have a wedding or a
whole album from the year of twenty fourteen, and then
I just stopped because I had my daughter. Life got
really busy, and now I've got two kids and life
is very busy still. But I just feel like this

(26:02):
is the year where I catch up on my photo album.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah, because I think a lot of the problem is
it's everything's digitized now, so you don't have the time
Like my dad had photo albus and foot and I love.

Speaker 11 (26:12):
It and it's really fun to look back at them,
like I was, like even the kids, like I still
have Easton is seven and I still haven't printed his
baby book because well, it's partly because I lost some
of the Like I'm looking for nine months worth of
photos that I can't find anywhere, and here we were
actually looking through a bunch of the photo albums together
and he's like, Mummy, where's.

Speaker 10 (26:33):
My baby book?

Speaker 11 (26:34):
And I just have like the instant guilt like it's coming,
I promise it's coming. But it is really fun to
look back on photos that are actually printed, like that
nostalgia where it's like, sure you can scroll through your
phone and look through the old picture, Sure you can
scroll through your your Instagram feed from forever ago. But
there's just something different about having an album and being like,
oh my gosh.

Speaker 10 (26:54):
Yeah I remember when we did that.

Speaker 11 (26:55):
So twenty twenty five is the year where I catch
up on all my photo albums.

Speaker 8 (27:00):
It you should totally do it.

Speaker 7 (27:01):
Do you feel like with Facebook coming out and like
how you can basically make your own albums, that that
was a reason that you just stopped doing it or
was it.

Speaker 8 (27:10):
Just really because life got crazy.

Speaker 11 (27:12):
I think it's just life got crazy because like Facebook's
been around for a while and I was still doing
photo albums where they had their album Yeah, okay, So
I feel like I feel like I just need to
get back into it, but I already started, so I
started uploading the I'm like, you know what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 10 (27:27):
I'm not going to try to go way far back.

Speaker 11 (27:29):
I'm just going to start with last year and then
go as far back as I can from there.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
But I started.

Speaker 11 (27:35):
Uploading the photos, and you can only do one hundred
at a time, and I've already uploaded for just just
last year's book. I've already uploaded six hundred photos and I'm.

Speaker 10 (27:43):
Only it's September.

Speaker 11 (27:44):
Oh my gosh, December, October, November, December.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
Get expensive too.

Speaker 11 (27:50):
I know I've done well just doing a sale right now,
or they have like fifty percent off, so I'm going
to go take advantage of that.

Speaker 10 (27:55):
Well, I can't love them.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Are you going to do the conry they make the
book for you, or are you gonna do the cow
you print to pick and put them in the photo
album underneath the plastic and all that stuff.

Speaker 8 (28:03):
I'm doing.

Speaker 11 (28:03):
It's a digital photo album and then you're printed ups digitalootom okay,
got it, I gotta it.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
So I'm gonna tell you where I a whole new
kind of food. Let me start from the beginning. Saturday,
I went on a long three hour hike. I'm counting
my steps. I already had like eleven to twelve thousand
steps when I was done. And I got up early
on Saturday morning, and then I flew to La to
go meet up with my wife because my son Kemp
is in town because his team is here. They're playing

(28:29):
all and down the California coast. So I'm trying to
use as healthy as I can part of my New
Year's resolution, part of my life resolution. And there's this
restaurant chain that I discovered that I pray comes here.
It's called Urban Plate. It was fhenomenal. It was the
healthiest food and it was so delicious and I couldn't
I ate there. And I said to my wife we

(28:50):
were going. The game was right by the restaurant. We
were by cal State Fullerton, and I go, when the
game's over, we should have dinner here too. After the game,
choos that could be nice, But I think we're going
to have dinner with the team, is what she said.
And I'm like, okay. So we go to the game.
It's a nail byer goes into overtime. Kemp's team is
down by one and they put Kemp in with three

(29:12):
seconds left to hit a three to win the game, right,
But they can't get the ball to him in time
and they lose. Oh I know. So my wife's like,
let's go have dinner with the team. I said, they lost.
I don't think they want to have dinner with us.
Why don't we go to an urban plate?

Speaker 6 (29:31):
I want to have dinner with my son and I want.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
To And I'm like, and I'm trying not to be
rude because we're in a hotel. There's potential sexy time.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
Later, yeah, and you can't get that if you're rude.
No sexy time when you're rude, Because.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
I want to be like, can you sometimes I know
what I'm talking about, kind of like I do here.
Sometimes I know what I'm talking about. So we drive,
and I also want to eat by a certain time.
I want to eat by seven, right, And it's now
after that. And now we go back to the hotel
and she's waiting to hear from Camp. But what's going on.
It's not like eight thirty and we're waiting, and then

(30:06):
Camp's like, nobody can it's just the team, right, They're
going to wherever they're going. It's gonna get Mexican food.
And I'm like, I kind of be like, I told you.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
You didn't say that.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
No, I told you that's amazing. I told you I
thought there'd be.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Sexy personal growth.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
So then across the street from the hotel, there's this
massive strip mall and it's empty except for one restaurant
and it's his barbecue on the restaurant and it is
packed and there's a line outside this restaurant. It's cold outside,
like barbecue. Maybe I'd get some chicken or something healthy,
you know, And I'm like oh, quietly, but to myself,
going hey, we could have gone that urban plate and

(30:42):
had healthy food. We walked across the street. I walk
and it's this really nice font this is barbecue. And
I get to the rest Every single person in this
restaurant was from the Middle East. And I looked at it.
I said barbecue, and I was like, I wonder what what?
And this is barbecue straight from Carucci And I'm like

(31:03):
what Dad? So I walk you through, I wait in line,
and when it's time to order food, the person's not
speaking English to me and it's packed, which means it
must be good food, right, And it's I'm the only
non person from that area of the world in this restaurant.

Speaker 6 (31:18):
And I go to order. I go, hey, can I
get is there a kabab?

Speaker 2 (31:20):
And the guy's like, no kabab? Like no, what? No kabab?
Because they look like Kebob's, but they're not called kebabs,
and he goes, I just start pointing because I.

Speaker 6 (31:29):
Want two of those, two of those and one of those.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
So I ordered it and I sit down with Blake
and it's packed, and I look up Carucci and I
think I'm saying it wrong.

Speaker 6 (31:38):
But it's Pakistan. So it was Pakistani.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
Food, Pakistani barbecue.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yeah, and the only croushi I can think it was
that Chris Browns X.

Speaker 10 (31:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (31:49):
Yeah, Now, unless I'm saying it wrong, Karachi or whatever.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
But I was like what so uh. We got the
food and it was the spiciest food I've ever had
in my entire life. My face was burning. It was
more than like when you get Tai food and you
can put it on the level five.

Speaker 10 (32:04):
You ever had that spicy stuff anything, even a little bit.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
So it was unbelievably spicy, and it was delicious. It
was fantastic, and I was I couldn't finish it all.
It was so spicy. I could finish it. I was
burning my face off, but it was like, I don't
even know the spices are on it. But then I
was told my wife. I was like, well, it looks
like I think we should. Finally, I couldn't help help it.
I was like, we should have gone to a urban plate.
I don't regret for one second. So I go to

(32:34):
the hotel, right, I get like, I was very unsatisfied
with my Pakistani food, and I get buy a kind
bar from the little shop there, and I got I go,
I guess I'll have this kind bar. This looks healthy.

Speaker 10 (32:47):
You're so annoying.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
I couldn't handle it.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Was so I was so irritated.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
But anyway, no sexy time.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
If play comes to town, if you ever you should.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
I thought about that, but I don't do too well.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
With restaurants, good old restaurants.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I lost my butt on.

Speaker 7 (33:03):
The like super healthy, healthy food. Though you'd be more interested,
I mean.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
You could keep your own place in business.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
But I had a question about the inauguration. I didn't
like my wife was she was you know, she's in
l a still because games all the game last night,
game tomorrow. I was like in the sauna yesterday and
I put on the inauguration. I happen to catch where
he's like, Trump's doing all the things right. And did
you see the one where where he was signing it?

Speaker 1 (33:32):
Whatever it was, it's unusual to do that, like at
a party like that where you're doing all the presidential things.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
He's signing whatever it is he's signing. Then he would
hold it up and show everybody. Did you notice that?

Speaker 10 (33:42):
I didn't see what you're talking about?

Speaker 1 (33:43):
So he would sign, but well he bills he's got
a presidential uh, I forget what they called him. But
like once you sign it into it's a president order,
the executive order.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Get he'd have like a marker and he would sign,
and then he would hold up the signature and show everybody, right,
and then he would sign the next one. So I
was watching his hand as he was signing, right because
I know it's Donald J. Trump. So when he would
turn it around and show his signature over and over again,
it's like it's longer.

Speaker 6 (34:12):
It doesn't make sense.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
He wrote more than he writes Donald Trump.

Speaker 6 (34:16):
And then a bunch of.

Speaker 11 (34:17):
Other things, like write out his whole middle name, like
even if he does, it's after the Trump, that's theirs.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Stuff like I think you should end on a P.
Like I'm looking at how like a cursive P or something.
I don't think I noticed that it's the longest signature.
It's it says like Donald D.

Speaker 6 (34:31):
Trump, and then it's like.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Something, maybe he's right.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
Maybe his last name is Trump, hyphens something. It's just
I could not figure it out. I don't have the
google his signature. Nobody else knows that. No.

Speaker 7 (34:43):
The only thing that I noticed from the inauguration is
the YMCA and Trump didn't do the YMCA hand motions.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
I was like, why aren't you doing it his own dance?

Speaker 8 (34:51):
He was doing his own dance.

Speaker 7 (34:52):
But I'm like, YMCA has a dance.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
I'm I was come on being very critical of the sound,
like Jason Eldan, don't you have somebody mixing your music?
Sounded terrible on TV. And my wife's Dacey's like, they
mix it for the Grammys. I don't think they care.
When it's the news about the sound, I'm like, well,
we're just showing it. It should sound good. I'm all
critique of the sound. It should be dialed in. If

(35:18):
you're doing a national broadcast.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
It's Tuesday, that means second date update. We got Riley
on the line. Riley, give us a little taste of
what happened on your date.

Speaker 15 (35:28):
Well, my date was a ten out of ten.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
But now he's ghosting me.

Speaker 6 (35:32):
Oh he's ghosting you A ten out of ten. Well, hell,
we gotta take this case, Kyle.

Speaker 2 (35:38):
Second date Update, We'll do it starts next with John
Jay and Rich. It was supposed to be the start
of a beautiful relationship, but somebody screwed it all up.
Second date update right now with John.

Speaker 6 (35:52):
Jay and John Jay and Rich. Time for second date Update.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Riley, want to hear about the date you went on,
and then we're gonna troubleshoot your dates. See where we
think things went wrong because the person's blowing you off right?

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Yes, yeah, fortunately, Well I was. I was at this
party and this guy came up to me and I
was getting a drink and we started talking and the
conversation would just flowed. It was just like really easy
and natural, and I felt comfortable and we exchanged numbers,
and then we started facetiming every day, which is like

(36:24):
not something I do, but like it was like amazing.
I've never had that experience before, but you know, every
night he would FaceTime me and it was like the
highlight of my evenings and it felt like we were
really building something and getting closer and closure. And then
we went on a dating person and it was like
a ken out of ten, like amazing, Like the food

(36:44):
was amazing, he was amazing, Like everything was great and
it could have not like it was the best. But
like right after that, he just disappeared, And I was like,
how is this possible to have something so amazing and
then nothing?

Speaker 10 (37:01):
How could you get that so wrong?

Speaker 7 (37:03):
Right?

Speaker 6 (37:04):
Well, you guys, I mean you so far.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
I haven't anybody say what if he died he himself
was to death in the family.

Speaker 10 (37:09):
Oh my god, my god?

Speaker 4 (37:10):
About that?

Speaker 16 (37:12):
That?

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Well?

Speaker 4 (37:13):
No, I I just it's been two weeks and I
haven't reached out, and I'm just like I need an answer.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
So you're saying, instead of him just ghosting you, he
could be the ghost. He's really ghosting you. In fact,
I almost say, there's no other option. But if it
was out of ten a ghost, I go back out
with out of ten.

Speaker 6 (37:30):
He's not. Also, just as he died a car accident,
he's the hospital.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
He's dead.

Speaker 6 (37:34):
Simple, what do you call it?

Speaker 10 (37:36):
That can't be the only option.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
He's dead.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
It's just it's really let it go.

Speaker 8 (37:43):
What happened.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
How vindicated is John? You're going to be feelab when
somebody picks up his phone and says.

Speaker 10 (37:49):
Told you God terrible.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Christians with our Lord. Now he's help with us.

Speaker 4 (37:57):
Is going to be so hopefully, I really hope he's not.
I hope this is a misunderstanding.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Like when the date ended, did you say let's go out?
Did we talk about going out again? I didn't hear
you say that. How did it end?

Speaker 4 (38:08):
I was just like, I've had a wonderful time, and
he was like me too, have a good day. It
worked wrong. I was like me too, me too.

Speaker 17 (38:16):
But that was the last date. But you facetimed after
that many times, No, after that date.

Speaker 7 (38:24):
See, you guys facetimed leading up to the date, So
you guys already had your chemistry by the time you
guys met.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
Yeah, yeah, we had facetimed all the way up until
that date.

Speaker 6 (38:33):
Sy I misunderstood.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
I thought that they met and they went on a date,
and they facetimed after that, and then he stopped facetiming.

Speaker 1 (38:41):
So now, well we met at a bar.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
Right right, right. But now what it tells me is
that if you met at a bar and then you
FaceTime that you went on a real date, then clearly
something happened on the date that made him go Eh,
I'm over.

Speaker 6 (38:54):
This girl, that's what I think.

Speaker 8 (38:55):
Awesibly.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Yeah, let's get him on the phone here. Richie said
his name is Christian. I haven't seen my paper, Christian. Okay,
Hi Christian here? Oh yes, it's right here, Christian. Let
us call Christian and see why he's blowing you off.
Second date update is next with John, Jay and Rich
impression a middle second date up that you've got Riley

(39:21):
and Christian.

Speaker 6 (39:22):
They met at a bar. How many weeks ago was that?

Speaker 2 (39:24):
Riley?

Speaker 4 (39:25):
We first met about a month and a half ago,
so I guess six weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Okay, let's find out what's going on with this guy, Christian?
Why is he blowing you off? What did you do?
What did you look like? What did you not groom
or take care of on your face?

Speaker 8 (39:41):
Like her?

Speaker 10 (39:41):
You never saw that during the FaceTime she.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Shows up in flip flops? Yeah, gross toes.

Speaker 8 (39:47):
Hi is Christian there?

Speaker 11 (39:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 18 (39:50):
This is Christian.

Speaker 8 (39:50):
Hey Christian, my name is Peyton.

Speaker 7 (39:52):
I'm with John Jane Rich and we just wanted to
talk to you on the radio really quickly.

Speaker 8 (39:55):
If you got some time this morning, Yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
And man, you went out with a friend of ours
Riley and she said, you're blowing her off. That you
guys talked a lot for a long time, you went
out a date, had a good time, and we're trying
to figure out why you're blowing her off. And just
real quick, there's a vibe right now that maybe she
showed up in flip flops and had really ugly feet.
Could that be it?

Speaker 18 (40:19):
No?

Speaker 2 (40:19):
No, definitely, Okay, good.

Speaker 6 (40:20):
Then let's continue.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
She called hanging out with you a ten out of
a ten, and so that's why we're calling you, because
she said, she goes.

Speaker 6 (40:28):
I met this guy at a bar.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
We facetimed every day and then we went out to
dinner and I never heard him again. So can you
tell us why?

Speaker 18 (40:35):
Yeah, you know, honestly, like I do feel terrible about
like kind of how things went down. I you know,
really liked her, and obviously ghosting her was never the plan.
You know, pretty much everything was going great, but then
my ex found out that I was on a dating
app and had gone on a couple of dates, and

(40:57):
like she just completely lost her mind. Like she showed
up on my place totally unannounced, and it was just
like yelling like a maniac. Next thing, I know, she's
swinging a sledgehammer, and yeah, I'm talking about like an
actual sledgehammer. She completely destroyed my phone.

Speaker 10 (41:18):
I just don't know how.

Speaker 18 (41:19):
To like explain all of this to Riley, Like it's
pretty embarrassing that, you know, I still have an ex
that's like losing her mind but still in my life.
It's just been such a mess. And I know, like
she probably thinks, like I, you know, I just don't care,
that's why I disappeared. But it's definitely not the truth.

(41:41):
Like I've just been stuck trying to figure out how
to even begin telling her about what happened.

Speaker 15 (41:47):
Oh my gosh, Like I just gotta ask you what
you couldn't call?

Speaker 4 (41:54):
I mean, this sounds insane. I'm so sorry you went
through this.

Speaker 18 (42:00):
Yeah, it's totally insane.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
I like I didn't know.

Speaker 18 (42:05):
I don't know what to do about it.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Like I honestly here, I don't believe him. I mean,
how did we get his number to his burner phone?

Speaker 1 (42:13):
And once he hit.

Speaker 6 (42:17):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 18 (42:18):
What's that directs to my line? It directs to my line.
It's just like a temporary phone.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
I have any capabilities Rich you've had a couple of
burner phones. Is that how it works? Now?

Speaker 1 (42:28):
You can call Riley back on my burner phones.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
But we can call him. We can't call him, Yeah,
we can call him, we can What are you talking about?

Speaker 18 (42:35):
Do you have any of my contacts or contact?

Speaker 1 (42:40):
Well, I just wouldn't be that organized.

Speaker 11 (42:42):
Actually, that kind of like my friend lost her phone
and she had it like that kind of same thing
about Okay, oh yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
He's not lying. You don't think he's lying. That's a part.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
I mean.

Speaker 11 (42:51):
I've also dealt with people who have exes who are
still very connected and still feel very emotional about them,
and it's been like it's been a real pain to
try to begin a new relationship. So I kind of
see where Christian's hesitation would be. Even if he did
have such a great time with Riley, It's like he
got it.

Speaker 10 (43:10):
He's got to deal with the.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
X first, right. But I would think that if it
was a ten out of ten and there was some
sparks there and it's been two weeks and his ex
smashed his phone not to leave the girl hanging, I
would have found a way to call her on another
phone wherever, probably or Facebook, and Instagram and try if
I just let you know, I need to take a
little bre something happened. I'll get back to a couple

(43:33):
of weeks. But my phone doesn't work anymore.

Speaker 7 (43:35):
Whatever, Right, he would have reached out if he really
wanted to.

Speaker 2 (43:40):
How about her though, with a real sledgehammer?

Speaker 8 (43:42):
Look where did she get that?

Speaker 6 (43:43):
From the fact.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
That she put it down on the floor and then
grabbed the sledgehammer and the whole time you were just
staying there. No that she couldn't kick the phone away like.

Speaker 6 (43:55):
She's winding up kicked the phone away.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
She's she approaches you with a ninety five pound sledge
hammer in one hand, and she says, give me your phone.

Speaker 6 (44:05):
Why don't you just not give her your phone?

Speaker 11 (44:07):
You know, everything is twenty twenty in hindsight, John, I'm.

Speaker 10 (44:11):
Going to do it in a situation like that.

Speaker 11 (44:13):
You know, if if you don't give her her phone,
the phone, is she gonna hate you with the it's a.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
Sledge hammer so heavy. Yeah, she just had a normal hammer.
I mean it's like, wholla, she bust out a hammer
and came out. He broke my phone a sledge hammer.
You gotta really work to get that around that's a
heavy sledge was heavy?

Speaker 10 (44:30):
Yeah, maybe she's really strong.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
Maybe she's been remodeling something, is your ex Paul Bunion.

Speaker 18 (44:38):
No, she's definitely not. But like I have like this.
The thing is like I had this like vintage like
sledge hammer in my place.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
And well that's on you. That's on you for leaving
weapons around.

Speaker 6 (44:50):
Why were you, like, no, not the vintage sledge hammer?

Speaker 5 (44:54):
No?

Speaker 11 (44:55):
Yeah, what is the situation to go through?

Speaker 10 (45:01):
I'm sorry, Christian?

Speaker 1 (45:04):
Christian ten out of ten? Would you have called it
a ten out of ten?

Speaker 18 (45:09):
I definitely felt like it was a ten out of
ten day and like, I definitely I know, like all
this sounds like absolutely insane. It sounds like I'm like, well,
like had a great.

Speaker 1 (45:19):
Time, crazy X with the sledge are awesome? Riley? Who
wants to go back out with you?

Speaker 9 (45:25):
I know?

Speaker 18 (45:25):
I definitely should have like made more of an effort
to like try to find a way to reach her.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
It's just a yeah, there it is. Yeah, Okay, So
do you want to go out with her again? Christian?

Speaker 18 (45:39):
I mean yeah, I would definitely I would love to
go back out with her again.

Speaker 2 (45:42):
Riley, do you want to go out with them?

Speaker 6 (45:44):
Do you believe that story.

Speaker 15 (45:47):
Yeah, this is a lot to take in. And I mean,
I can tell you're not making it up because it's
too crazy to make up. But I wish you would
try to like reach me or like just try to
explain it. It's kind of like disheartening that you would
just completely ghost me.

Speaker 4 (46:10):
And this X does sound scary.

Speaker 1 (46:13):
Yeah, I wouldn't go back to his place after a
date if you choose to go back out again.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
Well, if you go, listen, let's just put down a
couple of rules. Well, let's investigate a little bit. Christian.

Speaker 6 (46:23):
Do you have any vintage chainsaws in your house?

Speaker 2 (46:30):
Pickaxe sitting there on the shelf you hold the garden,
then take that.

Speaker 18 (46:37):
Something I can grab if somebody breaks into my house.
But that's it.

Speaker 4 (46:41):
I mean, I mean that you being honest.

Speaker 11 (46:43):
Now.

Speaker 9 (46:43):
I appreciate you being honest.

Speaker 7 (46:45):
Now, So.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Some vintage duct tape and tag me up shop. All right,
So you guys have each other's information we can give you. Well,
you have the number, so you guys connect. So if
you want to go out, go out. Maybe we can
get an update from you guys in a couple weeks.
Toe where you guys are at.

Speaker 18 (47:04):
Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 17 (47:05):
All right, Okay, all right, that's second ate update with
John Jaye Rich.

Speaker 6 (47:13):
John Jaye Rich Peyton tell us about Ali.

Speaker 16 (47:16):
So.

Speaker 7 (47:17):
Alie is one of my friends from back in college,
and I got on TikTok one day and next thing
you know, she has like a million followers on there,
and so I'm like following her.

Speaker 8 (47:26):
I'm like, what the heck?

Speaker 7 (47:27):
Girl? So she's this huge content creator and she does
like a lot of the things on TikTok shop. So
she'll buy things on TikTok shop and then she'll basically
post videos about it and then you can kind of
buy from her little.

Speaker 8 (47:38):
Shop or whatever.

Speaker 6 (47:39):
But she also works for chicktock, actually works.

Speaker 7 (47:41):
For TikTok, like they fly her out. She does all
types of like content brand stuff. So she's really cool.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
So we have questions for her about all the TikTok news. Hey, Ali,
how are you?

Speaker 9 (47:50):
I'm good, good morning. How are you?

Speaker 6 (47:51):
So you like get a paycheck from TikTok.

Speaker 12 (47:55):
Yeah, So I've worked with them, Like I'm not a
corporate employee, but I've worked with them for over over
two and a half almost three years now.

Speaker 13 (48:02):
They've started a.

Speaker 12 (48:03):
Couple of beta programs, inside TikTok that they've invited me
to like test out and try out.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
So I've been.

Speaker 12 (48:08):
Working directly with them for about two and a half
three years now, so it's been it's been quite a.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
Right So what do you think about the ban and
all that.

Speaker 12 (48:17):
Honestly, it was absolutely terrifying. I was one of those
people who were like optimistic. I was like, this is
not gonna happen, like and the thing is on the
TikTok employee side, it was all And I had just
got back from China. I was just in in China
with TikTok, and so I had just flown back on
I think it was like the sixteenth and when I
was there, I had dinner with the TikTok beauty team

(48:40):
and it was all like business as normal. There was
no mention of the band at all, Like everyone was
like tight lipped, seemed optimistic. And then I get back
home and then it actually happened. So it was really
like talking to see and it was just not really
expected from any of our side, whether it be the
creator side or the TikTok side.

Speaker 2 (49:01):
So you, as a creator for TikTok for your own account,
I'm assuming if TikTok's flying you out to China. You
must make some serious bank as far as social media goes, right, Yeah,
So I.

Speaker 12 (49:11):
Have three accounts on TikTok. I do like fashion and
beauty and food, and they're all kinds of separate channels.
I do TikTok Shop, like Peyton said, and I also
do like some back end stuff advertising for them. So
I work more so like on the marketing side. But
I've just been in it for a while and I'm
like kind of deep in it to where anything that's

(49:33):
new in TikTok I'm kind of involved in and so
with this whole band, like especially since I was a
beta tester of TikTok shop when that was a thing
there has I've seen so many businesses grow from TikTok Shop.
There's so many countless business that have started from working
out of people's garages and now they have these huge
warehouses that I've toured, and I've seen all the employees

(49:54):
that they're being able to hire because of TikTok Shop,
going from a two person team to overla like a
six hundred person team, and then now they do like
ninety five percent of their business on TikTok and a
level band, So it's it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
I think.

Speaker 12 (50:10):
Not only like if this band eventually does you know,
seventy five days from now, does go into effect. Not
only is it affecting there's like one point three million
content creators that are on that app, but not only them,
it's affecting the businesses in their employees who started these
huge warehouses because of TikTok, because what's going to happen
to them if TikTok goes away and they have to

(50:30):
fire all six hundred of their employees. And that's just
one business and there's over seventy million.

Speaker 11 (50:35):
On the app.

Speaker 1 (50:36):
I was kind of wondering about what you're talking about
because probably when they started investigating this, the TikTok shop
wasn't a thing like commerce. When they're like, hey, this
could be a threat to national security, but now that
is generating cash. I wonder if they had the second guess, like, okay,
whatever it was, it is sort of morphed into something

(50:56):
much bigger than that now where we're affecting the livelihoods
of thousands, thousands of people.

Speaker 12 (51:02):
Yeah, and not to mention, they have TikTok has offices.
I think they have like six locations in the US.
There's one in New York, there's one in LA there's
one in San Jose. So they have all these like
corporate offices and they're beautiful. They're like, you know, fifty
floors high and they house all these corporate employees and

(51:22):
even them. I was talking to them the other day
and I'm like, so, are you going to work on Monday?
And everyone's like, okay, Monday's a holiday, but Tuesday, like
we don't know, like do we show up to the office.
And I saw like a whole bunch of employees making
like final day at TikTok videos, and I'm like, we
can still hold out, guys, you are still going to
go back to work on Tuesday. It was really scary.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
Hey, let me ask you this. My TikTok account got
deleted two years ago because I posted a video of
a guy bending over and showing his butt crack, and
they actually got rid of my account. I don't know why.
I think I have a bunch of haters anyway that
were complaining about everything I posted.

Speaker 6 (51:57):
Since you're still high in the corporate world, can you
get it back?

Speaker 12 (52:00):
You talk about at the end, could you talk about
some connects for you, I'll get some connects for you.
They might not give you back your last video, but
they might give you back your account.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
I would love that if you could do that for me,
because I had like thirty to forty thousand followers I
was making I wasn't making money, but I mean I
was like making content and now I started a new one.
It's like kind of depressing, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (52:19):
No, it's like it's not the same, right, It's.

Speaker 2 (52:22):
Like there's lack of motivation to put work into a
posting a video if I have five hundred followers, Does
that make sense? You know what I mean?

Speaker 11 (52:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (52:29):
Absolutely, If you could help me, that'd be So it
was under John J. Van As, that'd be great.

Speaker 10 (52:33):
Thanks John Jay.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
I'll put the end. Okay, that's serious. So what is
the biggest amount of money the largest amount of money
you've made in one month with millions of followers.

Speaker 12 (52:44):
Oh, it's it's more than you could even imagine, just
because I mean I money. I don't make money off
of views per se, but I talk about all the
products that I love. And you know, this was last
year when TikTok shopped for a start. I think that's
when I made kind of my my bulk of money.
But I've been super smart with my money. I I

(53:06):
know that TikTok is not a for sure thing. So
all these people who are like, oh my gosh, like
these all these poor content creators like complaining about losing
their job. Of course, you know when you lose your job,
you don't have a backup right away, Like you don't
expect to lose your job like this. So I didn't
have a backup. But the money that I've made, I've
been really smart on investing, and you know, I have
my my money that I've earned make money because all

(53:28):
the people I've taught tons of people how to do
TikTok shop before all the people that I've taught and like,
you never know how long this is going to last.
And I've said that for the last few years, and
people would always roll their eyes at me. And now
you know my best friend Tory, and I'm like, see,
I told you, you never know how long it's going
to last. Kind of so I have my my biggest

(53:48):
one is at Influenced Queen's and then my food one
is a Lord of Beauty. So I have a couple
that are different. But last year was the year that
I made the most into talk Shop, and I think
that's because it was the first year that it was
really a thing and they were doing crazy Black Friday sales.
But you know Black Friday, I brought in for small

(54:08):
businesses over two hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 7 (54:11):
Oh my girl, correct me, Yeah, I'm wrong, Like Dent, Like,
aren't you like the number one seller on TikTok shop,
Like you make the most revenue, Like you are the it.

Speaker 8 (54:20):
Girl tick talk Shop.

Speaker 12 (54:22):
I'm the number one TikTok shop affiliate in the US.

Speaker 6 (54:26):
Cur That's wow, That's so cool.

Speaker 8 (54:29):
Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 7 (54:30):
I'm like in Ali, Like we were just in Mexico
a couple of years ago, and I'm just thrown up
tequila shots.

Speaker 8 (54:34):
Look at you now, girl.

Speaker 12 (54:36):
I know it's like you never think and I've always
like had a hustle and a drive, but it's more
so like finding things like seeing the next opportunity, and
a lot of people, like in the social media world
are super like scared to dive into something new. And
this is a great example, Like you know, everyone was
like what happens with the TikTok bands. Then I'm like, well,
I'll dive into something else. So it's all about pivoting
and finding, you know, where people are going to social

(54:59):
media and not being afraid to like take that leap
before everyone else, because that's kind of how I've gotten
into it, you know, before the flood goes.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
Respect the pivot.

Speaker 2 (55:10):
Okay, I just started.

Speaker 6 (55:11):
I just started following you about it. I just started
following you.

Speaker 2 (55:13):
So you'll see an account called jj tv Reviews five
hundred and eighty nine followers, and you're gonna be like, oh,
I can't wait to see these TV reviews.

Speaker 6 (55:20):
It was a small, short, little phase.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
I went through all you've already done. I thought you
just started it.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
This month, I reviewed like two TV shows and that
was done. That's very cool, Ily, thank you so much
for jumping on there with us and clearing it up.
I hope you're around in seventy five days.

Speaker 12 (55:35):
I know, hey, and if i'm not, I'm gonna take
seventy five days. I'm gonna work as hard as I
can and I'm gonna figure it out in the seventy
five days. I'm not going down with the ship, Okay,
I'm gonna jump off before it's done.

Speaker 6 (55:45):
Yeah, very smart.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
All right, thanks for jumping on there with us.

Speaker 12 (55:47):
Have a great day, no problem you guys do, but
by best a part of the show this morning.

Speaker 16 (55:52):
No worries.

Speaker 3 (55:52):
It's all there on my Heart Radio.

Speaker 6 (55:54):
US get some entertainment news Beeper.

Speaker 11 (55:57):
What is going on with Beaver is real question that
I think everybody's asking right now. So Justin Bieber actually
has gone on like an unfollowing spree.

Speaker 10 (56:06):
Most notably we talked about it.

Speaker 11 (56:08):
He unfollowed Usher, He unfollowed Scooter Braun and all Scooter
Braun's business people.

Speaker 10 (56:12):
He unfollowed his.

Speaker 11 (56:13):
Father in law, and fans noticed. He has also pretty
sure unfollowed his wife, Haley Bieber. This all happening around
like rumors that they're getting divorced, which unfollowing Haley would
not would not bode well for the possibility of they
that they would.

Speaker 10 (56:32):
Be getting divorced.

Speaker 11 (56:33):
But it's so weird because just a week or two
ago he like paid tribute to his wife on his Instagram,
So everyone's going like, I don't get it. He posted
this series of photos of him like smoking a ball
and like with with a song, and the song is
a Johnny cash song called there You Go, and there's
lyrics in it that say, well, here I am and
there you go You're gone again. And everyone's like, is

(56:55):
that him cryptically saying that he's like his relationship woes.
He's actually confirming the relationship woes.

Speaker 10 (57:03):
We don't know, we don't know. The unfollow is a
big move. I did see.

Speaker 11 (57:08):
I was like, oh my gosh, could it be because
of this, because there's a I don't know if it's
showed up on your algorithm yet, but there's this video
and it shows like Justin Bieber back in the day
with Selena Gomez and they're like, oh my gosh, check
out this leaked song from Justin Bieber as he finally
apologizing to Selena Gomez A.

Speaker 8 (57:25):
Y so then I wish thena every day.

Speaker 3 (57:35):
So sorry god.

Speaker 11 (57:44):
Host And I was like, oh, is this not a
bigger deal. Turns out that's not Justin Bieber. It's an
artist named Pavlin. She's pulling a lot of people because
when you hear that song with videos of Justin Bieber
singing on the piano.

Speaker 10 (57:58):
You're like, oh, yeah, so don't people, that's not we
don't know what's going on. I mean Justin and Haley they've.

Speaker 11 (58:03):
Always they've always had to fight the rumors ever since
they got married that they were getting divorced.

Speaker 7 (58:10):
Her. Yeah, I just I feel for Justin Bieber though,
because it's like, if you really like peel back the layers,
like this Diddy trial and things like that has to
be effected.

Speaker 10 (58:19):
He's been through trauma, which I mean.

Speaker 7 (58:21):
Like, yeah, absolutely trauma response like that kid probably went
through so much stuff with him and he's probably his
name is probably in these lawsuits, you know what I.

Speaker 8 (58:28):
Mean, even if he was twelve thirteen years old and
at these white parties.

Speaker 1 (58:31):
And probably a blurb, but probably also coming back in
a big way.

Speaker 8 (58:35):
Exactly. It's just heartbreaking to see, Like, I hate that totally.

Speaker 2 (58:37):
Let's get into kid Rock.

Speaker 10 (58:39):
Kid Rock is embarrassing. That's to say.

Speaker 11 (58:43):
There was a BBC news station that decided to interview
him on Inauguration Day, which was yesterday, and this completely
awkward moment happened.

Speaker 19 (58:53):
I look like I'm waiting to hit the slopes. I
can tell you I'm in full on ski gear here
with my half gloves, the whole thing, ready to rock.
Because you got to be wrapped up against the elements
I love to go skiing.

Speaker 6 (59:04):
You sound sexy, you want to go with me?

Speaker 19 (59:07):
Well, we will get into that right here. So we
didn't know skiing today. We've got a day of broadcasting
to do. But Kid Rock, thank you so much for
joining us on BBC News.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
Enjoy your day.

Speaker 10 (59:20):
Cringe.

Speaker 1 (59:21):
Why would say so stupid?

Speaker 2 (59:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (59:26):
I know, I know, I know.

Speaker 7 (59:28):
She was like so polite about it, but like, because
that would have been like you, Kid Rock, like you you.

Speaker 11 (59:37):
Chapel chapel Roone is already a huge star. In an interview,
she was asked about how she feels about her stardom
and how like this success has been for her, and
she was actually pretty blunt about it, saying I should
probably be more successful.

Speaker 20 (59:51):
I think actually I would be more successful if I
was okay wearing a muzzle, if.

Speaker 1 (59:57):
You played the game a little bit.

Speaker 20 (59:58):
Yes, I think I would be way more success if
I said yes to things that I was made to feel,
where you will never get this opportunity again. If I
were to override more of my basic instinct of my heart.

Speaker 8 (01:00:10):
Being like stop stop stop stop, you're not okay, I
would be so I would be bigger. I would be
way bigger. I would be like I would be on
tour right now. Still no chapel Round has boundaries.

Speaker 11 (01:00:20):
Yeah exactly, and she says those boundaries have probably held
her back, but her stardom still breaks through.

Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
How about Black Eyed Peace.

Speaker 11 (01:00:27):
I was sad, sad, sad to hear about this because
they they were supposed to start a Vegas residency this
year and I love Black Eyed Peace, like their music
is just like it's got so much energy, it's so
much fun. And they canceled it, and they canceled it
due to current circumstances whatever that means anything.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
This is what I heard. I heard it was Will
I Am and the Apple dude gotta do fight a
huge fist fight. Oh really They were like we're done.

Speaker 7 (01:00:49):
I mean, how can you do a residency without Fergie? Though, Like,
is black Eyed Pea's really going to sell tickets at
Fergie's not?

Speaker 2 (01:00:55):
There are other people that would lead singer before Fergi,
but like.

Speaker 10 (01:01:00):
Luck Eyed Peas Era was the best. But you know,
you never know.

Speaker 11 (01:01:03):
Maybe they were planning on having her in for a
surprise day or something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
I know, doing she should do that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
Day.

Speaker 6 (01:01:13):
Emmy, thanks for holding you on the air.

Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
What's going on.

Speaker 16 (01:01:17):
Well, I have a dirty little secret. My best friend
passed away a few weeks ago, and I have always
hated her boyfriend. He is the biggest piece of trash,
Like he already has some new girl he's been hanging
out with, which just makes my blood boil.

Speaker 9 (01:01:34):
Anyway, I went.

Speaker 16 (01:01:35):
Over to his apartment the other day to pick up
all her stuff, and the man had the audacity to
leave while I was there to go see that new
girl he's spending time with.

Speaker 9 (01:01:45):
I mean, I was so pissed.

Speaker 16 (01:01:48):
So I remember this TikTok I saw where a girl
got teddy revenge by spraying milk all around someone's place.
The milk soaks into the carpets, couches, curtains, whatever, and
after a few days it reeks. So yeah, I did it.
And three days later, Yeah, three days later, his apartment
now smells rotten. He called me yesterday so freaked out.

(01:02:10):
He thinks my best friend is haunking him, And honestly,
I'm not even sorry. He totally deserves it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Yes, you don't fight to me, I thought, where you go?
I have a dirty little secret. My best friend died.
I hate her boyfriend. I hated it. I went over
to his house and I thought you you slept with him.

Speaker 6 (01:02:27):
Oh my god, I know, like something happened.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Or he was like so charming, I mean whatever, and
now you feel guilty, but now you've fallen in love.

Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
With him, but not fight the opposite.

Speaker 6 (01:02:37):
I never thought it was gould go to rotten milk,
but like you.

Speaker 7 (01:02:41):
I can totally see that, like you just like like
missed the.

Speaker 11 (01:02:44):
Car that smells so gross, so gross?

Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
Are you ever going to tell him that he needs
to get his apartment cleaneder you' just gonna let him.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
Live with it.

Speaker 16 (01:02:53):
I'm sure I'm gonna let him live with it.

Speaker 6 (01:02:54):
So you think he'll be like, something's wrong we get
it cleaned, you would.

Speaker 7 (01:02:57):
Think, But like if you spray the curtains, like you
wouldn't think that, I mean unless you walk up and
actually smell the curtain.

Speaker 8 (01:03:03):
But I think it's hilarious. He thinks she's haunting him.

Speaker 10 (01:03:06):
She probably is, right, new girl, Yeah, that new girl
you are?

Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
How dare he move on? I would love that happened
to meet Because I can't smell anything. I would never
know you revenge, your.

Speaker 10 (01:03:17):
Revenge, Johnny cannot smell.

Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
I could only smell like I think, like really good things.

Speaker 8 (01:03:25):
That's good.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Well, that's not bad.

Speaker 6 (01:03:26):
No, I know. That's why I would never smell the.

Speaker 7 (01:03:27):
Rotten milk, right, because you did say you smell Kyle's
rotten chicken.

Speaker 6 (01:03:30):
I did not smell her chicken.

Speaker 10 (01:03:32):
He couldn't and he couldn't.

Speaker 6 (01:03:34):
No, I could smell grossue, or I can smell her
rotten chicken.

Speaker 2 (01:03:36):
I could smell something else back there, But I did
smell like whatever Grant was here earlier. He has really
good colon. I could smell when Kyle's making really good
food back there. I can smell that like I can't
smell sickness. Yeah, it's especially it's my superpower, all right, Emmy, Well,
way to get revenge. Just a great, dirty little secret. Thanks,
thanks for sharing it with us.

Speaker 16 (01:03:55):
You're welcome.

Speaker 7 (01:03:56):
I have a great day, you too, did Emmy, just
hate you with the nice nice.

Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
Chips.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
Nice nice.

Speaker 8 (01:04:07):
That's your superpower.

Speaker 14 (01:04:09):
What's up, every good girl. It's a little dum down up.

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
I gotta taste some embarrassing I was. I got asked
to be the MC at this stem Cell seminar in
Cabo right a long time ago. I said, I do it.
It's it's next week and now as I normally, you know,
I get anxious and bad nervous, and I don't want
to do it. And I was supposed to be on
a zoom with fourteen people on Thursday. And I remember

(01:04:44):
it was after the show, and I remember, you know,
I got this treadmill int here and I was on
the treadmill and I was like, I can't believe in
the treadmill right now. I feel like I should be
doing something.

Speaker 10 (01:04:53):
I hate that feeling. And then you realized you were
supposed to.

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
So I pull over at my doctor's. She's on the
zoom too. She's co hosting the event with me, and
I walk in a lot because that's where my the
gym is a work out and I walk in and
she's like, you weren't.

Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
On the call.

Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
I was like, what call. It's like the zoom. I'm like,
oh my god, I totally forgot. So anyway, this is
on Thursday. So they send me they recorded it. It's
twenty minutes long, and they send it to me last night.
So now I'm on it. I can watch it and
listen to whatever I was supposed to pay attention to,
right So I pressed play to watch the video and
the first like five to eight minutes is then waiting

(01:05:30):
for me. Oh my god, it's terrible. It's so terrible. Well,
you should be here in a second. That's another thing.
I was gonna say, why don't text me, but I
got already hear and say, but I'm not your secretary.
So I was like, I had it in my calendar too.
I just never looked at the calendar.

Speaker 1 (01:05:48):
Why do you Why do you not use your calendar?
You need that, you need to use the calendar. I
don't like it, hey, but put things, Put things when
they're supposed to happen in your calendar.

Speaker 6 (01:05:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
It was just it was just terrible. So I gotta
do this. So now there's this email going back and forth.
And then it's next it's next weekend in Cabo and
like Gary Breca is there, right, and a handful of
people and it sold out, Like that's the cool bar, right,
But now, like, I don't feel comfortable on stage. I
hate it more than anything in the world. I don't
think I have.

Speaker 6 (01:06:17):
The right words to say on stage.

Speaker 5 (01:06:19):
Though.

Speaker 2 (01:06:20):
Friday, Rich and I had did an event on Friday
at the Bart Jackson thing. Right, it's Rich and Me.
I mean if there's anything we could do is introduce bands, right,
that's what we can do.

Speaker 6 (01:06:29):
I could do that. I can't em see a stem
cell clinic, a stem.

Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
Cell thing, right. So Rich and I go to Bart
Jackson and it's we have to bring on three bands, right,
two local bands and then Sammy Hagar who was the
lead singer Van Halen. We get up there and I go,
we have stacks of stuff they want us to say,
and I'm just like and then you know, I said it, Rich,
So I'm gonna say we're John Jay and Rich you
do the rest. And he's like, got it, and you're
so great, right, you just toss it to Rich and

(01:06:55):
he does this great intro. It's freaking fantastic. The place
goes nuts. We want off the stage. They're like, we
need you back in half an hour to produce the
second band. All right, we go.

Speaker 6 (01:07:05):
You go back on the stage.

Speaker 2 (01:07:07):
I say, hey, thanks for coming out where John Jay
and Rich? And then Rich does his thing and just
just the way he introduced this band was so freaking cool,
and he was like I was like, I was so
pumped for the band. Right.

Speaker 6 (01:07:19):
So we walk off stage and the guy goes, that's
not the band. It was a DJ. It was a
girl named Kimmy Kim. And so this Timmy Kim is
up on stage and she's.

Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
Spinning and they're like, oh my god, that's not because
the way he introduced the band was just so epic.

Speaker 1 (01:07:33):
I read a little too far ahead in my brain.
I was a couple of paragraphs ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:07:38):
So then it was like, go back up there.

Speaker 6 (01:07:40):
I go to Rich, go good, just do introduce Kimming Kim.

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
So she's spinning and she's doing her thing, and Rich
gets up there and he's like, so put your hands
on Kimmy kid. Whatever. It was great right then. We
then an hour later we introduced the Bright Band and
he did the exact same mentro and it was great.
And then we introduced Sammy Hagar, which was great. So
in other words, I need you to come to Cobbo
with you.

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Yeah, bands I could do. I don't know if I
have the aptitude for stem cells.

Speaker 11 (01:08:04):
Of course, you do the whole Miss Arizona pageant.

Speaker 2 (01:08:07):
Yeah, you're a great I don't. I think people think
sometimes because we're here that we could host events and stuff.
I'm not good at that, and I want to make
sure that the people know that Cobbo that this isn't
what I do. You know what I mean, like like
I don't like, I don't under stand there. Like at
the event on Friday, I was just standing there at
one point where Rich was talking and I could see
people taking pictures and I saw some of the JumboTron
and I was like, standing stupid, and I.

Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
Was like, you did great. The people loved you.

Speaker 7 (01:08:35):
Is it a public speaking that like freaks you out?
Or is it standing in front of people?

Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
It's both both. Like I'm in the little room with
you guys in here. That's fine, but this is what
we do. I don't mc events. I don't. I can't
stand it.

Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
You know, it's good to get be a fish out
of water, I think because it makes the other stuff
get better too. So I think you should do things
that you're uncomfortable doing. It makes you better at all.

Speaker 2 (01:08:57):
I'm uncomfortable here every day. Al Right, we're gonna play game?
What game were playing? Or we're being with Beaches them?
Who's the host?

Speaker 6 (01:09:03):
Beaches m oh Nick?

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Okay, Hey Sarah, hi, Hi, all right, so you're playing
for Justin Timerlake tickets. It's her Thursday.

Speaker 6 (01:09:12):
I feel like he was just here.

Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
Yeah, he was just here. He was Yeah, he was
here in June. No, he was in he was here
in me.

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Now he's coming back.

Speaker 2 (01:09:24):
Okay, we're playing beaches, Am. Nick is the host? You
ready to go?

Speaker 3 (01:09:27):
Nick, I'm ready to go. Guys, I like to theme
my games as you're well aware of what's everybody talking
about these days.

Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
The election.

Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
Yeah, yeah, we got a we got a new president,
same as the old president. And so we're gonna do
the top ten songs from eight years ago. Oh clever,
they're not necessarily in order.

Speaker 2 (01:09:52):
We probably pay him playing right now.

Speaker 3 (01:09:55):
It's ironic enough, Michuel, Miguel, get ready. So yeah, it's
ten trending songs according to the Billboard Hot one hundred
from twenty seventeen. Okay, okay, all right, So we're gonna
start with John Jay.

Speaker 17 (01:10:12):
Jo.

Speaker 6 (01:10:15):
Bruno marsh Oh my god, dance that love the dance words,
some of the danceword.

Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
Okay, Bruno Mars is correct. Peyton, do you know the
name of the song.

Speaker 8 (01:10:25):
That's what I like.

Speaker 3 (01:10:25):
That's what I like, is the name of the song.
No stealing, but good John Peyton.

Speaker 8 (01:10:29):
If somebody else wo'd be able to steal the point
that's not true.

Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
It's not that's literally never how I've played this game.
Uh so John Jay's on the board with one point, Richard,
do you.

Speaker 5 (01:10:39):
Know show the love sharing good?

Speaker 8 (01:10:43):
He's like me coming up follow the mount.

Speaker 1 (01:10:46):
Found him out. I don't take cheron.

Speaker 3 (01:10:49):
I don't know what sounds it is at Sharon. Anybody
in the room know what that was?

Speaker 6 (01:10:52):
Shape you this shape of you?

Speaker 3 (01:10:54):
Yeah, John Jay the number one song of twenty seventeen.

Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
How about that?

Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Hey, guys, everybody's really impressed. Uh okay, uh Peyton, I.

Speaker 8 (01:11:13):
Don't know who sings that song. That is Zach brast.

Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
And a little back on, okay, a little back on.

Speaker 6 (01:11:21):
I remember this song.

Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
You're close.

Speaker 2 (01:11:22):
I remember because I remember bumping too the guy in
the elevator. You're still good looking? Yeah, sham Hunt.

Speaker 3 (01:11:26):
Uh huh yeah. Body like a background, body like a
back road what we're looking for? So nice, try Peyton. Yes,
we'll move on to Kyle now.

Speaker 6 (01:11:35):
I don't try nobody. Nobody call up the gang and
they come and change.

Speaker 8 (01:11:39):
Come me you rib keep you with my bad.

Speaker 21 (01:11:42):
Bad that's a CARDI b badab right, go ahead, Peyton,
Migos migos, A little oozy d because she was.

Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
Married to If you're fat, You're French and okay, so
on the board. Thus far we have Kyle, John Jay,
and Rich. We'll move on to our contestant, whose name
is Sarah.

Speaker 4 (01:12:15):
I know the name of the song is Believer, and
I can't remember that.

Speaker 12 (01:12:19):
I'm really glad of the names of people.

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
Linda. Listen, you got yourself a point there. We were
looking for Believe and it's by the Imagined Dragons. Oh yes, yes,
John j had a real funny imagine dragons joke.

Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
We play that song the time, which one dragon imagine
draggon these nuts.

Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
It's still so funny after one. After one round, everybody
on the board but Peyton will move on to round two,
and that's starts with John Jay. My left broke just
went by ra right. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, wow.

Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
That seventeen I feel like that Migo one and this
or older.

Speaker 3 (01:13:02):
It's just with the top songs in twenty seven.

Speaker 8 (01:13:04):
I know.

Speaker 10 (01:13:04):
I'm just surprised they may have.

Speaker 3 (01:13:05):
Come out beforehand, but that they were just the number
one through ten training songs. Anyway, guys, I don't have
to defend this to you, Rich.

Speaker 8 (01:13:18):
Let I need to songs that thing to song.

Speaker 1 (01:13:23):
Oh no, Change Smokers with.

Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
Closer Yeah, yeah, one point there, Rich, you got they
they didn't reach the didn't hit under the buzzer there,
but you get at one point. So John Jay in
the lead with three points right now and we'll move
on to Peyton.

Speaker 8 (01:13:46):
Nothing just like that.

Speaker 3 (01:13:47):
Okay, boom, wow, you could have gotten three because the
chain Smokers. That's from the Chainsmoker's album. But way to go,
so proud of you.

Speaker 10 (01:14:02):
That's a win.

Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
Find. I'm sick to my stomach, Kyle, ticket up yourself.
Louis also good job. Way to go, uh and Sarah,
if you can get both here, you're gonna win these.

(01:14:25):
Justin Timberlake tickets always say congratulats.

Speaker 12 (01:14:36):
Oh, I can't think of it.

Speaker 15 (01:14:40):
I'm sorry, I'm really good.

Speaker 3 (01:14:42):
Okay, I will be going to the show. We were
looking for most pologne waivos in that as well. Congratulations
is the name of the song. I set it up
so I could tell her congratulations. No, I don't know
what to do.

Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
We just give the tickets away. We're gonna set you up.

Speaker 6 (01:15:00):
Hold on, hold on. I had to tell you, Kyle.

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
I started watching Beast games and it's when you look
at the whole thing the Beast Games. It's pretty freaking
amazing what this guy's doing. It's like Sharkers. Like, I
know it's number one on Amazon, but how is not
every single person and an article in the news talking
about it? Like when surviv Survivor came out, I think
it was was it a million dollars for Survivor? But

(01:15:25):
now most shows are like half a million or one
hundred thousand, And this dude is doing five million, not
to mention an island in Lamborghini a.

Speaker 11 (01:15:33):
Million here, and then he offers people five hundred thousand
dollars just to eliminate themselves.

Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
And so I watched the first episode and then I
went to the second episode, and I stopped and I
went all the way to the most recent episode, right,
and so what was cool about that is the most
recent episode goes back in the episode two, and I.

Speaker 1 (01:15:49):
Was like, oh, it was just there, Like I was like, oh,
I was like there.

Speaker 11 (01:15:53):
I was actually in my bathroom getting ready watching it,
and the kids came in and it's it's pretty appropriate.
So I'm like, okay, I well, usually if I'm watching
one of my shows, I just turn it off. But
they started watching it and they were like glued, and
now Easton has made us watch every single episode multiple.

Speaker 10 (01:16:10):
Times because we're waiting for the next episode to drop.
I think they dropped Thursday or Fridays.

Speaker 11 (01:16:14):
Okay, and I'm like, I need the next episode because
I can't watch these episodes anymore.

Speaker 10 (01:16:18):
We know who wins this one.

Speaker 1 (01:16:20):
It's better than the real life squid Game that Netflix
did by a mile. I feel like, Oh, it's so compelling.
The only thing is there for me? There's no like
you don't really know many of the characters yet because
there's a thousand people competing and they're wiping them out
one hundred by one hundred, so there's not a lot
of personalities to follow.

Speaker 10 (01:16:38):
Yet you know the characters when you watch it.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
There's a gray haired guy that I think my brothers
all the Beast games.

Speaker 2 (01:16:47):
Are you watching anything elsewich?

Speaker 16 (01:16:48):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:16:49):
Because of Peyton, I started watching Sex Lives of College
Girls and it is so good. I know, I told
you it's a mindy kayleg show and I didn't know
they were in three seasons d which is amazing good.

Speaker 3 (01:17:01):
I love that show.

Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
It is really funny.

Speaker 8 (01:17:05):
Who's your character so far?

Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
I like the Indian girl the best because she's funny.

Speaker 8 (01:17:08):
She's hilarious. She's hilarious, Timothy it on Netflix, it's on
HBO Max.

Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
The lines, the lines are so fast, and actually the
humor reminds me of the way Peyton talks. So I
can see why you love it.

Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
Because it's a top rated show on HBO Max.

Speaker 7 (01:17:25):
Yes, I think it's like number two right now, just
because they drop an episode every week or whatever on Thursdays.
But like Eastern Kyle kadeven rewatches The sex Life of
College Girls, so that is on loop in our house.

Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
Okay, I could see why because the lines kind of
go by fast if you miss them.

Speaker 7 (01:17:41):
The free show, and they just talk about like real stuff,
like real life things that you go through in college,
and it's hilarious.

Speaker 6 (01:17:47):
Also, I've finished Severance and caught up on Severance.

Speaker 2 (01:17:51):
My review of Severs.

Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
Really the ending didn't make you happy.

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
I just can't stop thinking about it. That's the problem.

Speaker 10 (01:17:59):
Okay, so you're not you're interested by it.

Speaker 6 (01:18:01):
Episode one of season two, well, to me was a letdown.

Speaker 11 (01:18:05):
Yes, I will agree, But the final episode of the
first season, yeah, was very satisfy.

Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
But I'm also trying to figure out is that because
you had eight hours of boredom before that. Then you
were looking for something and you're like, oh my god,
yes finally, because I think what you do with that
show is you're like, what would it be like for real?
You know, it's like if that happened, That's how I
look at it all the time, like that would be well,
it's a really interesting concept. I also figured out it's
hard to explain that concept. It took them seven episodes

(01:18:32):
to explain, do you know what I mean? It's a
it's hard.

Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
Are you disappointed because the endings that you guessed were
more interesting than what they actually did really have an ending?

Speaker 6 (01:18:40):
No, the ending of season one, I did not expect
it to go the way win.

Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
I thought I was very satisfied with the way it wins, Okay,
but I was ill satisfied.

Speaker 21 (01:18:47):
I know.

Speaker 11 (01:18:48):
I am really annoyed that they there's only like one
episode out and they do it weekly, Like I feel
truly that this is a show that needs to be bing.

Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
That's a good point. It should have been dropped all
of it. Yeah, what's coming to three things you need?

Speaker 11 (01:19:00):
There is some new scams that the IRS wants to
warn you about, because like tax season is kind of
around the corner. And you don't want to get sucked
into this because you will lose a lot of money
if you do. I'll tell you what it is next
with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 8 (01:19:11):
Good morning, start.

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
Your day with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 8 (01:19:15):
I wake up with my favorite artists. Hey, this is
Sabrina Carpenterry.

Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
What's up, guys.

Speaker 14 (01:19:18):
This ISOs Benson Boone and you're waking up with John
Jay and Rich.

Speaker 6 (01:19:22):
You got some breaking Bieber news, Peyton.

Speaker 5 (01:19:24):
Yes. So.

Speaker 7 (01:19:25):
About thirty minutes ago, Justin Bieber clarified that he was
not the one who unfollowed his wife, Haley Bieber quote unquote,
somebody went on my account and unfollowed my wife.

Speaker 8 (01:19:35):
Ish is getting suss out here, So sure they did,
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (01:19:39):
And also, like, what I found interesting about this is
he said somebody went on my account.

Speaker 8 (01:19:45):
It wasn't like my account got hacked.

Speaker 7 (01:19:46):
So I'm like, did somebody on his team go on
to his account who has access and then unfollow her?

Speaker 11 (01:19:52):
Like what is going on here or or is it
all part of the plan because supposedly Justin Bieber's got
new music coming out this year. Talking about him, Yeah, possibly, Yeah,
and we're all getting pulled into the publicity spell smoking weed.

Speaker 8 (01:20:05):
He's post how odd that he did that?

Speaker 7 (01:20:08):
And also I was like, what kind of response did
you think we were gonna give? Because when Justin Bieber
was caught smoking a joint ten fifteen years ago, we
had the same kind of.

Speaker 8 (01:20:15):
Uproar about it.

Speaker 11 (01:20:16):
If I don't think I don't think many people had
an uproar. It's like it's legal now, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 7 (01:20:21):
Like I saw its like Justin Bieber is doing drugs
and I'm like, Okay, it's just a little bong rip.

Speaker 10 (01:20:26):
It's not that serious.

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Okay. What are three things we need to know now?

Speaker 11 (01:20:29):
Cob Besides that, so tax season is around the corner.
It's still a little early to think about it. But
the IRS is warning you. The earlier you know about this,
the better so that you don't get ripped off this
tax season. So there are three main scams that they're
warning us about, tax avoidance scams, violation scams, and filing scams.
The first one is where thieves claim if you don't

(01:20:51):
pay them big bucks up front, then you're not good,
or if you do give them like a big wad
of money, then you're not gonna have to pay a
single set in taxes. High income filers are usually targets
of this scam. Then the violation scam is where a
crook will pretend to be with the IRS and they'll
threaten punitive action against you unless you pay them immediately,
saying like you're in violation of your taxes. You have

(01:21:12):
to pay this, this, and this fee so that you
don't get like go to jail basically. And then the
filing scams are where thieves promise to file your taxes
on your behalf, but then they just collect your data
without intending to file. So you need to make sure
that if you have someone filing taxes.

Speaker 10 (01:21:26):
For you, that they are actually legit.

Speaker 11 (01:21:29):
So you've probably seen this all over social media. I
know I have Six planets are aligning and will be
visible in the night. Skide starts this week and goes
all the way through February twenty. First, if you look
up at the sky just after sunset from now until
February twenty first, you'll see Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn
in alignment. With binoculars, you'll also be able to see

(01:21:50):
Uranus and Neptune. A seventh planet Mercury will also be
in alignment briefly during that time.

Speaker 10 (01:21:55):
Cool, which is pretty rare.

Speaker 3 (01:21:57):
Super cool.

Speaker 1 (01:21:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:21:59):
So if they say for best viewing, find an open
field or a beach somewhere and then you'll be able
to see it the best. If you are looking for
like a cool side hustle, or like just a fun
job to try for a while, forty five thousand dollars
is what you can make if planters Hi hires you
to get a little nutty.

Speaker 10 (01:22:17):
They say they're hiring drivers to power their peanut shaped
vehicle called the Nutmobile.

Speaker 3 (01:22:22):
Watch out here, you Nutmobile.

Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
In the same break, we were stayed at a hotel
over the weekend in Long Beach and it was on
Nutwood Avenue and I looked at Blake.

Speaker 6 (01:22:36):
And I was like, ah, Nutwood Avenue a flip Nutwood,
Like I said.

Speaker 10 (01:22:42):
It pays forty five thousand dollars.

Speaker 11 (01:22:43):
Benefits include covered travel expenses, health insurance, and meal stipends.

Speaker 10 (01:22:48):
They are hiring someone.

Speaker 11 (01:22:49):
It will be a year long gig that starts in
June and runs through May of next year.

Speaker 10 (01:22:53):
And that's three things you need to know.
