do it every Sunday. This was the first one featured
Rich and Stacy. Anybody listened to it?
Speaker 6 (01:14):
I did.
Speaker 5 (01:14):
I didn't get a chance.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I listen to I loved it. I thought it was fantastic.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Oh thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
Fun to hear Stacy. She's so funny.
Speaker 6 (01:20):
I love how she kind of I feel like, was
using radio terms that I was picking up on like,
and it made me lol.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Oh she did.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
She did, at least I thought.
Speaker 6 (01:29):
So, like like or maybe not necessarily radio terms, but
like things that like that I've learned being in radio
that I noticed Stacy doing, like theology not wanting to
go backwards, you know what I mean, Like things like that,
And like, I just thought it was cute.
Speaker 7 (01:44):
Eight I have eight minutes left and I was. I
enjoyed it tremendously. I thought she did an awesome job.
I teeter her up a lot because she has lots
to say. And when we're done, I'm like, see, people
don't know the side of you. And she's like, well,
I really only tell you these things.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I'm like, well, then that's.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Good that you can say it on the microphone and
people can get to know your personality.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Said.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
She was like, now I have a platform to tell all.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
She was really funny. There's a lot of really funny things,
she said. But I was telling Rich this morning. I said,
it was a great podcast. I said, but it was
almost like he was the host in interviewing her, like
I wanted them to get you know, to get into whatever.
Like at one point when somebody asked the question to her,
why did you get married a second time? And when
she starts talking about Rich, I got like all EMOTIONALIZ thought,
oh my god, that's so beautiful. Then he just goes
(02:28):
on to the next question, Like I wanted to hear
from him now, do you know.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
What I mean?
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Because it was so awesome.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I almost think you're uncomfortable because she was complimenting you
too much.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
You're lying, get out.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
But it was really there's I lolled out loud a
couple of times. Well that's good when you like, you know,
you didn't know anything about her.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Well, her work is mysterious and important.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
It's on our If you go to John Jay and
Rich on demand, you can hear that podcast.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Now which one of us is next? Do we decide?
I don't know if we've decided.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Which side, but I said I would be down to
do it.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Okay, So then your podcast with kadem will be next
Sunday at ten am.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Okay, okay, cool, all right, cool, cool, all right, very cool?
Speaker 2 (03:06):
And questions they should they should send us.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Yeah, we'll post all the stuff. We'll post on it
on Facebook and Instagram. When to ask Peyton and Kademo
all the questions.
Speaker 6 (03:13):
Yeah, what I kind of think I'm gonna do is
I'm going to make one of those little highlight things
on Instagram on our story, so you can just go
tap on it and ask all the questions under each
cop good.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
I noticed something yesterday.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
If if I'm right, over the weekend, Peyton went to
the same restaurant that Rich went to and the different
restaurant that I went to. In fact, yesterday, I think
you and I went the same restaurant in the same day,
within minutes of each other. I think really, because I
even asked my wife, I said, how many of these
restaurants are in town? She was I think one, and
I go, oh, I think Peyton and I we must
have just missed each other.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
I'm talking about true food.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
Oh my gosh, no way, because literally I was with
my brother and my friend Andrew. She goes, hey, that
guy looks like John Jay. And I looked and I
was like, that's not John Jay. I was walking from
it was the guy that I saw was definitely not you.
So I think she saw you and I saw a
different guy.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
What time were you there?
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Uh like.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Yeah, we were there, like red. How long were therefore?
Speaker 5 (04:08):
An hour?
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah? Were you outside or inside?
Speaker 5 (04:10):
Inside? Right by the door?
Speaker 1 (04:12):
I was outside Okay, the patio, Yeah, she probably did
see you.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
Guys are the same, the same.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Weird So get this. So we're in this little patio area.
My wife and I and you know, obviously we have
the Lupop Foundation. Were huge dog lovers. There were two
I'm gonna call them Karens. The best way you can
think of an image in your head of a Karen. Okay,
there were two of them. They both had little dogs
sitting next to them, and both dogs, for no reason,
would be barking and would bark periodically but quickly, like
(04:42):
a lot, and these women would just laugh and ignore
the barking, and within a few minutes their whole side
of the patio cleared out. People laughed because of them,
and then I noticed that they were rude.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
To the wait staff. They were so rude.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
So I had the same server that they had, and
when she came over to me, I said, can I
you are those two women being really rude to you?
And she was like, I don't want to talk bad
about anybody, but yeah, they were so like I saw
at one point she the lady went to go at
the server, went to go ask one of these women
a question, and she was texting on her phone and
she didn't even look up until she was like it
(05:16):
was like it was an uncomfortable twenty twenty five seconds.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
It was just rude.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
And then Blake, at some point, my wife, who was
one of the nice people in the world, said you
need to film that.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
You need to film them right now. So I filmed
them and then I was like, do I post this?
Like I want to post it because I.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Got a good I filmed them and their dogs are
barking and then the one lady, Blake said, looks like
she was waving, but to me, it looks like.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
She's covering her face.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
She's going like this right because she knows what and
I want to post and go do you know these
two women? Shame on them? Shame and you didn't yet
I didn't yet. I didn't yet it because I don't
want to. All I need is all everybody to make
these comments.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
That's not very love up. That's what I would get,
you know what I mean. I mean it isn't, but
I also want to alert everybody. Now. The other restaurant
is both you guys went to Elefante.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
You were at Delafonte.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
I was at alt right.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
I was there Friday, what early, like five thirty six.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
You just missed me because I left at like four.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Oh you went early, Okay, I that is a scene.
I don't know what it's like in the middle of
the day, but that is the most seeny Sceni restaurant
since Toka Madera, since Mapleland.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
Ass oh is it.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
I've never been to Toca, so I don't I don't
have a comparison for that. But when I walked in,
it was still sunshine. It was a beautiful day on Friday,
and they had like kind of the windows were open
so you got all of the fresh air.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
There's a lot of foot traffic.
Speaker 6 (06:29):
It wasn't crazy busy in there, but we sat at
the bar and I had an excellent experience. I had
a wonderful lavender espresso martini to.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Get the My wife went there in the middle of
the day and it was the place to be seen.
She said, and she says, there's this like bread thing
that bring out.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
That's unbelievable with whipped egg plants.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yes, that thing is that the thing? That thing I
gave you a heads up to when you go.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I was like, make sure if you don't even touch
the whipped eggplant. The bread thing is like pizza dope.
It's all fluffy, and it's like it's almost like a
somewhere in the middle of a casaden a pancake in
a pizza da It's really good if you're like on
the bread train. But what we saw when we were
there are a ton of what looked like first dates.
And that's totally a place she would go because the
(07:10):
bar's giant where you can sit around the bar and
then all the tables around the bar. And I feel
like I saw maybe three first dates go okay and
one totally not go okay. Really, where they were talking
introduced each other's big smiles, and then about fifteen minutes
and then they both just had their heads and their
phones and then they were out within twenty five minutes
of meeting.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
It was insane.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
Ladies, if you can get a man to take you
to Elephante on a first date, you better keep hit.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
That was nice and well of them did, three of
them did. The food was good, though it was is
a great place to watch people, that's for.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Sure, so quick recap.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
The couple's podcast is the same place where you get
this podcast, John Jay and Rich on demand
