All right, we're getting ready for second date update. We
got Chase on the line. Chase, what's going on with you?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
So my date ghosted me after a week and we
were texting, you know, and I just I don't know
what's going on.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Okay, Well that's enough.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
We'll get on the phon. We're gonna find out what
she's ghosting you. Second date update starts next with John
Jay and Rich. It was supposed to be the start
of a beautiful relationship, but somebody screwed it all up.

Second date update right now with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
John Jay and Rich, time for second date Update. Somebody
got ghosted. We're gonna help him find out why they
got ghosted. Chase, Good morning, Hey, good morning guys.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
What's your story? Man? What's your story? All right?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
So I went on a date with this girlament un
hinge and her name is Dava. At first, everything was great.
We grabbed dinner, the conversation was flowing, vibe was so good,
very solid, and she was laughing at my joke. I
just had a lot in common and honestly, I thought

it was going really well. But then I guess about
halfway through the date, something must have shifted. She had
a little quieter kind of seemed distracted, but like I
couldn't figure out why. So we didn't hook up or anything,
just ended the night with you know, hug. And the
weird part is she kept texting me for like a
week after that, so I figured she was still interested,

but nothing. Now she was completely ghosting me, and I
don't know. I have no idea what happened. So can
you guys help me out please?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
I think what's weird is that, like she was texting
you after a week. So at first I'm like, Okay,
obviously something happened while you were on the date. But
if she's still texting you, I'm like, maybe, I don't know.
That's weird to you.

She's not done with another relationship. They found out she
went on a date blowing up, she goes back, then
she breaks up because I have a big fight, so
she starts texting you again. She's probably not done with
a messy relationship.

That could be it, or like you didn't really describe
the whole date, Like what are the things you talked about?
Were you flirty? Was there any sort of like physical connection?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, I don't know, I just thought that there was
a physical connection.

Speaker 7 (02:28):
Did you kiss, did you hold hands?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Uh? We did have a quick kiss at the end,
but you know it was it was not like on
the lifts or anything like. It was a hug and
you know she kissed my cheek and yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
You're not giving very good specifics, you know, like what
was the text before? It was like, oh, my god,
do you what's your favorite color? I'm trying to repaint
my walls. I want your opinion because you're so you're
so handy, like you're not giving a specifics to anything.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
You're just kind of generalizing, you know what I mean.

went to dinner, we talked about movies.

She loves Scooby Doo. My god, Like, you're not giving.

hard for us to go.

then and maybe she'll give us some details and tell

We met unhinge okay, and you guys went to dinner?
Where'd you go to dinner?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
We just sent her a little Italian w.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Little Italian restaurant? What do you eat for dinner?

I received chicken pun that's my standard. And she got.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Okay? And how long ago was his date?

It was about two weeks ago.

Now I got two weeks ago. Then a week later
she texted you and you haven't heard from her. Sense
so he's asking us to find out what it is
why she blown him off. So you hang tight. We're
gonna get Ava on the phone. Where you get all

My name's Peyton. I'm with John Jay and Rich and
we just wanted to talk to you on the radio
really quickly this morning.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Uh sure, Ava, we got a call from a guy.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
He was telling us about a date that you guys
went on and honestly, he didn't give us enough detail.
But apparently you're ghosting him, and we were trying to
figure out why you're ghosting him, but he's not giving
us enough detail for us to figure out why you're
ghosting him. So we're talking about a guy named Chase.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Yeah, I know him. To be honest, I think he's
kind of an idiot.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Really.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
I mean, you know, the date looks fine, we're vibing,
but you know, at one point, I'm you know, I'm
feeling myself. I feel cute. And I asked him what
he thought about my outfit, and he could have just
said something like, wow, you look great, you look cute,
but then he kind of goes off and was like, well,
it's cool, but I wouldn't have heard those shoes with
that dress although you're totally pulling it off. And I

was like, I don't know, am I dating the fashion
police or something?

Speaker 5 (05:41):
That is a weird thing to say. He didn't say
you were pulling it off, though. I guess that's the compliment.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
I mean, sure, but it kind of felt condescending, Like
I mean, it's kind of like, oh if if that's
what you think looks good.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Like, hey, I like that outfit, pulling it off, hoping
that you would say, why don't you pull it off?

Speaker 3 (06:03):

Well he could have gone.

I think I would have been a little put off
by that.

Too, But I don't know if that would be a
deal breaker if you like, I mean, there must have
been absolutely no chemistry other than that, because for that
to be like, Okay, I hate you, I'm out. I
don't know if that would be for me. But was
there other things about him you didn't like to?

Speaker 6 (06:35):
I mean, it just kind of felt he just kind
of felt like he was insulting me or I don't know,
I feel like he's trying to compliment me. But it
just didn't come off.

I mean, if i'm you, I'm thinking this guy doesn't
know how to talk to people.

Well, that's what I'm saying. I'm like, that would totally

Myself it was. I mean, I don't know. I felt
like he was kind of looking off the boy. That's
a look right, like this is the thing I would
see on Snapchatre.

Did you tell him that he looked like that on
the date? Did he ask you? And then you offered that?

I mean, I never told it to him because I
keep these opinions to myself, like he should have.

When he's telling us the story he said that, you
end up texting him a week later?

I mean I was just kind of feeling him out.
I thought I could get over it, to be honest,
you know, I felt like I could just kind of like,
you know, maybe he has other redeeming factories. But nope,
it just kept bothering me.
