Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, we're gonna shift gears, get ready for War
(00:01):
the Roses. We got Natasha on the line. Natasha, what's
going on with you?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
So? I'm married and I went on a day with
my husband. He was acting so weird with the waitress.
I think there's something going on between them.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Okay, all right, well, thank you, and let's take this case.
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yes a thank War the Roses. We'll do it. It
starts next with John Jay and Rich rolling and trying.
That gets me.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Not only do you need to know if they're cheating,
you deserve to know the truth.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
War of the Roses right now with John Jay and.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Rich, John Jay Rich, time for War of the Roses.
We got Natasha on the line. She thinks someone's cheating.
Good morning, Natasha, good morning. Are we talking about a boyfriend?
Are we talking about a boyfriend or husband?
Speaker 4 (00:54):
My husband?
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Okay, just a real quick recap. So Natasha thinks her
boyfriend's cheating. We're going to call him up. I'm sorry,
your husband's cheating. We're going to call up see if
he will send flowers to her or someone else.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Oh, we're going to get the story first. So what
is the story? Natasha?
Speaker 2 (01:11):
So over the weekend, my husband and I went to dinner,
and I felt like something was off from the beginning
about the whole evening, Like from the start, he was
super reluctant to go to the restaurant that I chose,
which is not like him at all. She was acting distant,
like almost jumpy. And then we get to the restaurant
(01:35):
and that's what we're seated. Our server comes over and
introduces herself and she seems like nice at first, but
not five minutes after that, she comes back with another
server and introduces her and says that she'll be taking
over our table, and that's when things got super strange.
(01:59):
The second kept glancing at my husband like like she
knew him, and he couldn't even look at her in
the eye at all. It was like there was like
some unspoken history, like they were trying to keep on
the wraps. And as the dinner went on, the service
(02:21):
was absolutely terrible, like she was super rude, she barely attentive,
and it felt like she went out of her way
to be fully dismissive of us. And despite all of that,
when the chay came, my husband insisted on leaving her
an upsurt thirty five percent tip. I couldn't wrap my
(02:44):
head around it, like why reward her when she gave
us such awful service?
Speaker 5 (02:51):
I couldn't believe it. And then to make it worse,
I noticed like some of the.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Other services were like whispering and glancing over like they
were on some like secret.
Speaker 5 (03:02):
You know, it was horrible.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
I can't shake the feeling that my husband might be
sneaking around with this girl or something, because the vibe
was just too weird to ignore. And this just happened
this weekend. But the whole night just left me with
a pit in my stomach. And now I can't stop
wondering if there's something going on that he's not telling me.
(03:26):
And so I did ask him about it, but he
just got mad and refused to talk to me.
Speaker 6 (03:30):
What do you mean, Like, what did you say? What
did you ask him?
Speaker 7 (03:34):
I said?
Speaker 2 (03:35):
I said, what was all that about? Like I told
him everything? I said, This was so weird.
Speaker 7 (03:41):
You and her were you couldn't even stare at her
eyes for a second, and she just kept like staring
at you, but just staring at you, and like there
was something between the tension.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
The tension was so bad, and he just was like no,
I don't know what.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
You're talking about.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
You're just making things up, just yelling.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
I mean, as you know, you're making it up, and
that's what I'm making it acious, right. His reactions make
it what super shady to me because I can see
like being in that situation and getting that uncomfortable, like
gut feeling like something is definitely going on here, and
then to have him be like, no, you're just making
things up, I'd be like, oh, oh, confirmed.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Plus, can't you put yourself get yourself in the position
of the servers, They're like, oh my god. Friends, seeing
Joseph is here with somebody else.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Who is that? That's got to be his wife? Oh
my god, switch tables.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Would like, oh, that was going on, and then she's
getting angry and angrier. Let me tell you something out
of this whole story. You know what really really blew
my mind is that you look at a number and
you're like, thirty five percent tip. I would not know
if it was twenty I double I heard double the tax.
I know that's twenty percent, But to come up with
thirty five percent, to know that that number is thirty
(04:52):
five percent, that's why that's with Atasha without a calculator
there without doing whatever, like whatever that bill was, let's
say's two hundred and seventeen dollars. I don't know thirty
five percent of this, so it was two hundred and
thirty five dollars and my wife left the tip. I
couldn't go that's twenty seven percent, that's forty five percent.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
I would know that math, Like, are you must be?
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I had to get my phone to realize, and I
was like, what is this?
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Well, you got your phone out, you're like this.
Speaker 8 (05:22):
But if you notice that, if you're that sharp on that,
then your gut like giving you signals.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
Probably don't mess with Natasha. She's onto something.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, okay, let's call your husband. What's his name?
Speaker 6 (05:33):
Joseph?
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Okay, that's right, I have right in front of me.
As a matter of fact, even said, I know, I know,
I forgot. All right, We're gonna call Joseph and see
who he sends flowers to you.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Or the server? Do you know her name?
Speaker 2 (05:47):
No?
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Okay, Okay, we're gonna find out where. The Roses continues
next with John Jayne rich Impression.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
John jan and Richard The Middle War of the Roses.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
You got Natasha and Joseph how long you guys been
marrying Natasha.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
We've been married for four years.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Four years.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
She thinks he's cheating because of something that happened the
other day.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Quick version. They went to a restaurant for dinner.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
The server switch servers, and then that server acted weird,
I mean really weird, horrible service.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Kept staring at her husband. She knew something was up.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Yeah, women's intuition and when you experienced that. Yeah, all right,
let's see who sends flowers too?
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Hello, Hi, is Joseph available?
Speaker 3 (06:43):
This is Joseph.
Speaker 6 (06:43):
Oh perfect, just the man I'm looking for.
Speaker 9 (06:45):
Hi.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
I hope I find you well in this new year.
So my name is Olivia. I'm with a new company.
We're called jan Our Flowers. We're trying to like step
up our marketing for twenty twenty five. So it's kind
of you get to benefit from that, Joseph. You get
to be one of our micro influencers. So we feel
like the best way for people to experienced in our
flowers is to be able to send our flowers and
just sort of see the love and joy that is
(07:06):
received when you get these beautiful flowers. So what it
means for you to be a micro influencer Joseph Is.
You get to send our most romantic bouquet of flowers.
We call it our Pure Passion Bookay, it's kind of cute.
Does in red roses comes at a beautiful crystal vase.
You get to send it totally free, and all we
kind of ask in return is that maybe you share
us on whichever social media platform you use the most,
(07:26):
so we get a little bit of marketingting out of it,
and you get to be like the man and didn't
have to pay for these, but no one will know
it was free.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Cool.
Speaker 10 (07:32):
Yeah, yeah, that's so good.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
Perfect.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
So we are going to send the roses out with
just a nice little card. And I always just tell
people this is your chance to personalize it.
Speaker 6 (07:39):
They are, like I said, very.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Romantic and beautiful on their own.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
But you know, depending on the nature of your relationship,
some people get fun, a little flirty.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Some people get dirty.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
So you know, I've kind of seen it all, but
I am ready to put that message on the card
whenever you are.
Speaker 9 (07:53):
I think I'll just keep it simple with an I
love you.
Speaker 10 (07:57):
I wouldn't want to overdo it with my wife. She's
not the happiest with right now.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Okay, Yeah, simplicity is nice. Okay, So I love you,
love Joseph. And then I didn't get your wife's name.
Who did you want me to address it to?
Speaker 10 (08:09):
It's Natasha?
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Okay, Well, Joel, I can stop thinking about the other
night like that. That dinner was just so weird. From
the second we walked into the restaurant, you were like
so off and like you didn't even want to be there.
Speaker 6 (08:25):
What was that about?
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Whoa, whoa, whoa? What?
Speaker 10 (08:27):
What is going on?
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Joseph?
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Let me tell you what's going on. You're on the radio,
the John Jay Rich radio program or the Roses. Your
wife thought you were actively strange with this waitress, and
so she thought maybe you're cheating on her.
Speaker 9 (08:39):
Indeed, no, Natasha, no, I told you I'm not cheating
on you.
Speaker 10 (08:44):
I haven't been cheating on you. That was that was nothing.
Speaker 8 (08:49):
Nothing.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Yeah, it was something.
Speaker 9 (08:52):
You cannot just brush it off like that.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
It was something you couldn't even look at you can
even look at that girl in the eye. You acted
like you were trying to hide something, like you think
I didn't know what it is.
Speaker 10 (09:02):
That it was nothing. I swear, I think you're blowing
this out of proportion. I don't know what is going
on with you could have just talked to me this. Yeah,
it was It's fine.
Speaker 8 (09:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (09:13):
Do you think I'm blowing it out of proportion?
Speaker 5 (09:15):
That's what you think. You seriously expect me to believe
that after everything that happened, I like, I saw the
way you like I saw the way that she looked
at you, and the way you kept avoiding her fully,
like she was just some ghost you were trying to escape.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
It was freaking weird, jose.
Speaker 10 (09:31):
It wasn't like that. It wasn't like that, Natasha, It
really wasn't.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Okay, Oh my god, what about that tip thirty five
percent for that awful service?
Speaker 5 (09:44):
What was that about, Joseph?
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Like?
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Why would you reward that kind of behavior? I?
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Okay. The truth is.
Speaker 10 (09:58):
When we before we were here, I hooked up with
our server, and uh, but I had ended things to
be with you, you know, and that was a long
time ago, and then I just didn't want to bring
it up. I didn't think it was that big of
a deal.
Speaker 9 (10:14):
Because I want to be with you. I wanted to
be with you, and you know, I just tipped her
so that she wouldn't pull you aside or say something
or whatever.
Speaker 8 (10:21):
I don't know, But why would that matter if you
broke up with her before you started up with your wife.
Speaker 9 (10:27):
It's just, you know it was it was early on,
like when we weren't serious, you know, So it was
there was like, you know, sly, I just didn't want
anything weird overlap.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
A little bit of time.
Speaker 10 (10:39):
I'm just Natasha.
Speaker 9 (10:40):
You know, she's want to stress her out, and she
was probably upset that you know, she's seen the person
I left her for.
Speaker 8 (10:46):
So that's why you didn't want to go to that
restaurant probably too, huh.
Speaker 10 (10:51):
I for sure?
Speaker 4 (10:52):
I yeah, And how would you even know she still
works here years ago?
Speaker 10 (10:57):
I'm just saying, I just you know, it's like best
to avoid that sort of stuff.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Oh my gosh, So you hooked up with her what
we were dating?
Speaker 10 (11:08):
He wasn't serious.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
What you're saying, Hugh Joseph, I marry you and you
cheated on me. I don't even want I don't even
know what to say right now.
Speaker 5 (11:19):
I have to go. I'm sorry you guys, I can't
do this.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Well, wait a.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Minute, you called us so I think if I'm understanding,
he's saying they were dating. They were dating, right, right,
so they were married. So when they were married, like,
he just didn't come clean about his past, right, So
that's cheating. And there's some overlap overlap in the dating though,
and they sleeping together?
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
I mean? I was serious with him from the beginning,
so I don't understand how this is much different. It's
like he cheated on me whenever you know I was.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
We were serious in your.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Eyes, right, you may have not you guys may have
not defined the relationship yet, but but you also have.
Speaker 10 (12:04):
A happy marriage, right, Yes, I think everything's okay. This
is way out of proportion.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
You've been married four years. You've had a happy, happy marriage.
So whatever happened between him and this girl happened five
years ago, six years ago?
Speaker 7 (12:19):
Why it is so weird?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Still?
Speaker 9 (12:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:21):
Maybe so, I mean, he's a human being. Maybe he
has feelings for this person.
Speaker 6 (12:24):
You think he has feelings there?
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Whatever?
Speaker 1 (12:27):
I think if you have, if you have a relationship
with someone and you see them again after a while,
there must.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Be oh god.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Butterflies get here and let me tell my wife, there's
that I.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Don't want to eat here, like when we were here.
The whole thing in the beginning of our relationship. I
was kind of seeing that girl and it's just not
going to be around or be honest about it.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
I agree with you, I totally agree with you, But
maybe he's not like that, and that's I mean. I
would just hate to see them throw what could be
a great marriage away because something happened six years ago.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
For sure, definitely think they should talk it out. But
I can also see, like, you know, where she may
be feeling like, oh wow, then is our whole marriage
based on a lie? Like she's like, why what else
are you hiding from me? There's all these things that
go through her head too, So definitely need to talk
it out. Maybe some counseling could help.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
I wouldn't throw the whole thing away, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 8 (13:13):
Either.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah, there's definitely a conversation, but that could be very.
Speaker 6 (13:16):
What she just heard was very charring, I.
Speaker 8 (13:18):
Think, yeah, all of us, especially if denying it so
vehemently at the beginning too, especially.
Speaker 6 (13:22):
Nothing nothing, You didn't say anything.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
After seeing the Jerry Springer documentary, Yeah this is so nice.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
This is such a beautiful situation that could be fixed
and happily live happily. Ever after all right, you guys,
so consider that or Joseph put on the Jerry Springer think,
go huh, that's not me.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
That's on Netflix by the way. Okay, thank you both
for going on the air.
Speaker 6 (13:43):
Lucky guys.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Okay, bye bye. That's War of the Roses John Jay Rich.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
They said this,
