podcast today so when the time comes and Peyton will
post and all our social media a place where you
can ask the questions you want Blake and I answer,
and we will do that.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
So just go to John Jay and Rich soon and
ask any questions.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Are you nervous about this one?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Well, you know, my wife, I were going for a
walk yesterday and she said, how do we handle the podcast?
And I was like, people get asked this question but
just answered the questions. That's it, right, Yeah, that's what
you did, right.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah, for the ladies. I brought up a few things,
but mostly it was from listeners.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
You did what.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I brought up a few things that I was curious
to ask.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
I don't plan to bring anything up. Then the question, Yeah,
that's it. That's it.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
So anyway, that'll be on Sunday at ten am. It'll
drop on this channel, the John jaye Rich on demand channel.
So last night I was I was at the Sun's
game with my son Dutch and I like getting there
because I love food. I love the food there. And
as soon as I walked down, there's Peyton grabbed me.
I didn't even put paper. Was like, hey, it says
one of those things, getting the little things in life,

(01:49):
you know, like you know what, I didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Expect to see you here.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, and then she says, if you leave early, can
I have your seats? And I'm like, of course, smart sol,
I'm out third quarter. I text her she's already home.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
You pulled a j before John Jay did.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
He texted me, I was literally pulling into my apartment.
I was like, I'm going to bed.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I was like, hey, I'm gonna slid out. You can
have my seats, don't I don't. I mean, I know
that's John Jay's move. But when did you leave a
game early, Peyton?

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I mean, I was ready to go home. I had
a long day yesterday. It's been a long couple of weeks.
I wanted to go to bed. I just wasn't interested
in the game.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Part of the rebranding. You get sleep now, yeah, I do.
That's pretty impressive.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I get starting to show too, you know what I mean.
It makes all a difference in the world. Like sleep
really is that important?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
It's a pretty big deal.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
It is. It's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
And so I sacrificed my sleep so I could go
to the Sun's game with my son. And then I
got up at the normal time that I get up,
so a little tired, so I rolled. I started rolling
the Starbucks last week because here at the radio station
they said plast with coffee, and they have this it's
a unique coffee machine that I just learned how to
work about a year ago. And they have espresso packets

(02:59):
and they're out of hispresso and I've been doing espresso
every day in my coffee, so now they don't have it,
I feel.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Like I'm missing something.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
So I've been driving by going in the Starbucks every
morning the last week. And yesterday I went into Starbucks
because I'm getting okay sleep, but I just get a
medium coffee. I forget the language they have, the language Grande.
I get a Grande with two espresso shots, okay, seven dollars.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
All right, whatever I pay.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
This morning because I'm on no sleep, I get the
largest one they have, which is called a Venti.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
With three espresso shots.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Okay, Grande two espresso shots, yeah, seven dollars.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Venti three especial shots, six dollars.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
What well, why would you do that all the time.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I say to the guy, I go, why is this cheaper?
And he goes it shouldn't be. And I'm like, look, man,
this is what I paid yesterday. As I paid day.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
He's like, that's weird.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Of course he just woke up, and they're not like anyway,
I just want to let you know, so you know
I'm not pulling a fast one. I pull out of
here at and then paying says something about there's a
new policy at Starbucks. Not like, I wonder what the
policy is, pay more by get more, pay less.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
No, that's not the policy. Apparently there's this new policy
on Starbucks where the Starbucks baristas have to write a
nice message or draw on your cup every time you go.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Now, oh, here's my cup?

Speaker 4 (04:16):
That is there? Is there a little sign?

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Is there?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Like covering it?

Speaker 4 (04:23):
They're supposed to write nothing, not even your name or
like put.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
A little heart.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
So like all of the Barisa's on TikTok are like
drawing these insane drawings of things on people's cups, and
it's supposed to be amazing. Nothing Like it's even rare
that they don't even have your name or checked off
what your order is.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
They will bank cup.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Hold on, Maybe it has to because that went through
the drive through. You know, do you write your name
when you go through drive through?

Speaker 3 (04:48):
They do?

Speaker 1 (04:49):
You use your app?

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Don't you?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
No?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Then I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
They should be I mean wait, because they go, you go,
you know, welcome to Star Wars. Gonna help you? Yah?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Can I get a VENTI whatever? Sure, no problem. They
don't say what's your name? So why would they know
my name on the drive through?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah, they do in person when you walk in.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Right, so when you pay, then you get your name
by Sometimes.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
I feel like they ask what's the name on the
order when there's a few people online. But therein though,
Peyton is customer service right there, that's just John Jay
that that happens. But everybody else got thrugs.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
And then and then you know how they put a
little stopper in your cups so that the little green thing. Yeah,
they put little stopper, that little green thing right there,
they put on your cups that way.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
If you're driving, it doesn't spill. And when I walk
up the stairs, it doesn't spill.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
The guy gave me this without a stopper, and I go, hey,
can I get a stopper place?

Speaker 3 (05:34):
He go sure.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
So I put my cup through the window and he
puts the stopper in and it's hard to put in
and he's pushing down on it. I'm like almost dropped
this whole cup of coffee because the guy was a
violent stopper pusher.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
That's a lawsuit. You should have let it happened.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Just kidding, right, A lot went down today at the star.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Bus, I guess, so so tomorrow if.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
I go through it and be like, hey, you're geta
ride those smiley faces something.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
When I go to the drive throat a little policy,
I'm supposed to have doodles on here.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
That'll be twelve dollars. That's gonna be twice as expensive
now to the doodles.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I was at the Stun's game last night, and you know,
there's a couple of moments where they're downtime and I,
you know, I'm working, I'm planning the show out and stuff,
and I go to Kyle's Instagram and she posts something
so stupid and I laughed out loud so hard because
it sounds it's so Kyle.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
If you go at unfug you can see it. The skidaddle.
Oh yeah, it is so funny.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
It is literally it's like exactly her personality all rolled
into one.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Did you guys see it?

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I haven't seen it yet.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
She goes, my, was it my definition of this? Is
what I mean when I say let's skidaddle And it's
just this horse doing this prance thing.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
It just looked hilarious and I was like, that is
what I mean.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Let's get in. That is her.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
That's what she just said right now is exactly what
I heard when I saw the video.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
That's very Kyle.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
It's at unfugged.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
You can see the video. I know what I'm talking about.
