Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're gonna play a game. We need a contestant right now.

(00:03):
Eight seven seven, nine three seven one oh four seven.
I think we're still playing for snow White. Tekeuts right, yeah,
so call right now you see snow White and the
movie opens today. We'll set you up with the screening
in the meantime while we wait for contestant. Eight seven
seven ninety three seven one oh four to seven. If
you were on Kyle's Instagram last night, uh, there was
a sad moment, then there was a happy moment. There
was Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
So I was driving by Party City and on the
outside of it it said last day open.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Oh, and I'm like, I have to go in.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
I have to because Party City has saved me.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
So many times.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Parties over they should say that they didn't, but that's.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
A missed opportunity out of business, it's.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
A missed opportunity. Yeah, they're I think they're closing all
of their stores in the United States. Actually had someone
messaged me yesterday and said they're from Canada and they're
not closing in Canada. So parties on in Canada. But yeah,
walking up and down the aisles, like so many of
the aisles are just completely empty, and it's just so
sad to see any business clothes, but a business that

(01:02):
was that big and that influential in my life because
I love like planning parties and doing the decorations and
doing it up like that, it was like such a moment.
There were some great deals, though, I will tell you
I got about one hundred and sixty dollars worth of
stuff for forty but that almost felt wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
But these stuff that you need like right now or
you're just playing, you're just a story that I don't
need it all.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
But I did, like Easton's birthdays coming up, so you
know in a couple of months, and I'm like, well,
I'm gonna need balloons, and they have these balloons on
sales eighty percent off. So I did get a bunch
of balloons for his birthday. I did unnecessarily get like
a beer tasting kit for birthday.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
This's birthday a card.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
But it was kind of funny because like walking up
and down the aisles, like I kind of smarked conversation
with one of the other ladies who was also and
she was kind of like, it's weird, You're like pre
planning parties. You didn't plan on for your exactly exactly.
So I got like a bunch of party plates and
I'm like, you know what, if you don't end up
using them for a party, you can use them just
for the day. It's all stuff that will definitely be

(02:04):
usable but definitely unnecessary. That's like my husband's like, that's girl, math,
you didn't even need to spend forty dollars or.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Like, I know.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
But also at the same time, it was just like
this weird nostalgic moment that was so sad. And then
later on in the day, my sister called and she
came and picked me and my step MoMA because my
dad and my stepmam were staying with me right now,
and took us to Dairy Queen so we could get
a free cone because it was free cone day. So
I got a cherry dipped cone and I was wondering

(02:33):
if they were still going to do the free cone
if it was dipped, and yes, but no, the cone
was free, but they charged fifty cents.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
For the dip.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Dip. Yes, totally free.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
And it was funny because it was so packed, like
the drive through was packed. So we decided to go
in and the line was like almost out the door.
They curved around and out the back door, and We're
just like sitting there waiting, and I'm just like observing
these poor employees that probably just hate this day, and
they totally do it because they would call out numbers.
People wouldn't know their numbers. There was an entire cone

(03:06):
that had been like like smashed over, just like melting
on a table.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
That is sad.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Like me and my sister are like, oh, you know,
they're like stupid free cone day.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
Yeah, uh to U was fifty cents because my sister
is dry queen.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
They were charging a dollar for the dip cone.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Oh no, only fifty cents. That was pretty amazing.

Speaker 4 (03:26):

looks like they should be in a musical more than Kyle?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Doesn't. She seem like she's constantly in the musical.

She does.

Speaker 2 (05:09):

see yes, that one I could see.
