Speaker 1 (00:03):
John d and Richie guys Bate, what tells that story
about her friend Zee? Yeah, it stayed with you, but
she stayed four days.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Yeah, she stayed like four days and.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
You were like you were ready for her to go.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Well, yeah, because all we do is spend money and
drink and just get no sleep, Like it's toime for
you to go.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Though, it was like a.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Week ago, and now what, Well, I had forgotten that
six months ago my friend Alyssa had asked if she
could come and stay with me for the weekend. So
next weekend or this weekend, h my friend Alyssa's coming
into town staying with me for two nights, I know,
And so it's like I have mixed emotions about it
because she's genuinely a good house guest, Like she's so sweet.
(00:39):
She honestly she has her own friends and group out
here where she's gonna have a rental car, She's gonna
be able to go do her own stuff. I'm not
gonna have to be with her all the time. But
having all of these house guests has made me come
to a realization about myself and who I want to
be in the future when it comes to me having kids.
So I've always wanted to be the mom that was like,
I want all the kids at my house. I want
(01:00):
all the sleepovers at my house. I want to throw
all the parties. I want our house to be the
safe space. I don't feel that way anymore. I don't
want anyone in my house. I want everyone to gone.
I want everyone to get gone because I have to
clean up all the mess and I hate it there.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
I don't want to do that.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
That's what my wife wanted our house to be that house. Ie,
your house is that house. Yeah, And there's always people
at my house. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
And Blake is just so sweet and probably an amazing host.
And I'm nothing like playing.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Well too, because you have your dad who stayed with
all your sisters, and I was always curious to how
it ended. Liked, did you find out what sister he
had the better time with.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
We had this like beautiful dinner together the last night
he was in town, and we were like sitting around
like in because he was at my sister Erica's house,
and so the dinner was there because that was his
last stop on his journey.
Speaker 6 (01:52):
You know, he stayed ten days with.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Each one of us, and Erica goes.
Speaker 6 (01:56):
So what did you guys learn in your thirty days here?
Speaker 5 (01:59):
And my stepmom who is like I've learned so many
lessons from her on just like just life in general.
Speaker 6 (02:06):
She was like, we just learned that we love everyone equally.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
We're like you.
Speaker 6 (02:11):
Just so there was the thing going into it. You
thought one would be better.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
They were very political, they did. Who did your dad
spend the most time with them? If you really go
back and look.
Speaker 6 (02:26):
I really feel like it was equal.
Speaker 5 (02:28):
Oh really, yeah, I do, because each one of us
had like group activities when they were staying at our house,
So it was like when they first got here, my
sister Lisa had them and she had like activities with them,
and then when we had them, there was like group activities,
and then when they were staying at air because it.
Speaker 6 (02:46):
Was like, well that's their last week year, so we
all have to get together.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
So I do kind of feel like their time was
spent pretty equally.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
So they probably left her like that was exhausting.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
Yeah, I think I think they were very ready to
be on their way home. I mean, you spend a
month away from your house, I can imagine you just
want to sleep in your own bed. You want to
be on your own schedule, because they they probably had
schedule whiplash. Like they went from my sister's house, who
stays up very late, eat generally eats later, to our house.
We eat with like senior citizens. We eat at like
(03:15):
four o'clock. We go to bed by eight, like lights out,
lights out at eight, you know what I mean. So,
and then they went to my other sister's house, and
her schedule is like kind of like willy nilly too.
So it's like I think they were genuinely ready to
be back, but they, like you said, like when you
said your friend's a really good house guest, they were
like the most amazing house guests. Like I was actually
(03:36):
kind of worried, like staying at our house for.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
Ten days, that's a long time, long time.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
And when they left, I was genuinely sad, Like that
did not feel like ten days, Like I did not
want them to leave and go to my sister's house.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
And like when they said.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Goodbye to all of us, I'm like, can't believe that
was a month, Like I wanted more time with them.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Oh, they do it again next year, the same month.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
They said they want to and they'll be back in May.
Because my niece is graduating.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
And it's funny because they don't know where they're going to.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
Stay, so I kind of feel like where they pick
this will be the answer.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
Hotel.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Yeah, that would smart thing.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Hey, thanks, I would love to have them.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Do you have other guests coming to your house? Peyton?
Speaker 2 (04:15):
I hope not.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
You know, it's a lot I do.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I do have another house guests coming. And it's the
weekend after my friend Alyslie's and it's Kadem's mom, who
is also so awesome and amazing. But we share bed.
You'll sleep with her, yeah, and Kadem sleeps on the couch.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Could you have a one bedroom? Yeah, so where does
your friend sleep?
Speaker 2 (04:40):
She'll sleep on the couch, the pull out couch.
Speaker 6 (04:43):
You sleep with Kadeem's mom when she's there.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
I don't know why.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
That's kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
That's kind of cute.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Oh, it was really weird at first. Yeah, and then
I got over it after the first night.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Like, if anything, I would think Kadeem would maybe want
to like sleep with his mom.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
That seems weird too, but it's his we it's it's
his mom. It's very yeah with my mom.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, And I mean, I I.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Don't know if a Scott's mom right right, yeah, so
we share we play foot seat.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
She'll like wake up in the morning be like, can
you screw it over myself? And I feel bad because
I really sleep like in a triangle, Like I feel
like my butt's always on kadem when I'm sleeping. So
poor Crystal has a big booty Judy over here rub
it up on her. Well, so it was it was Crystal,
(05:34):
you can have the room to yourself. I was gonna
sleep on the couch. Could he was gonna sleep on
the couch. And Crystal was like, well, why don't you
just sleep with me? Because he was like yeah, like
why don't you just go sleep with her? And I'm like,
I want to go and sleep in the bed with
your mom. And then I got pere pressured into sleep
in bed with her.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
You know, he was probably like being chivalrous, like I
don't want you to sleep in the couch, like I'll
take the couch the lady exact.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Okay, that's exactly what happened. And then once we did
for one night, now I'm like, I always want to
sleep in.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
The bed with Crystal. She's very warm.
Speaker 6 (06:01):
That's kind of cute.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
That's good stuff. Rich, you had somebody say your house
recently to your cousin or something.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
My cousin's great, though. My cousin chryl Anne, she's a whirlwind,
but she's like an O. C. D cleaner. So everything
in the order. Oh, she's worse than me.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
I just like you.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
And it comes up in the Couples podcast where she
talks about how he leaves a fork in the If
she puts a fork in the sink, Rich puts it away.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I'm making a case for a clean sink. Clean sink
is a beautiful thing. You got a kitchen there, you
want some crusty looking My cousin's more so than me
because she'll we'll be sitting across a table and she'll
see a candle that is like just slightly out of
formation and she will not be able to think about
anything else with that candle, and she'll just stand up
(06:45):
finally let me take She just start lighting up everything.
So she's very symmetric. But I think that's kind of fun.
I would I would like her to live it live
with us. I think that'd be awesome. She's like a living,
breathing sitcom kid. She's like Kevin, one of the Gold
and Girls, who's a rock star with you?
Speaker 1 (07:02):
