Speaker 1 (00:00):
I didn't know this still Rich came in this morning.
(00:01):
But this is our twenty fourth year on the radio. Here, whoa,
that is so crazy? That is so we are celebrating
our third year of So if you don't know, and
I'm just gonna throw this out there, this is hardcore trivia.
The first day we started on the air, we had
an in studio guest. If you know who that guest is,
(00:24):
you will win the Chainsmoker diickets the first person to guess.
I will tell you this much like us right now,
this person is still relevant. So it's not like it's
somebody random like Jervis from Survivor.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
It's a big star. It's a big star. This person
very relevant.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Still happy anniversary partner, Yeah you too, Tracy.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Who do you think it was?
Speaker 4 (00:43):
Was it Katy Perry?
Speaker 2 (00:45):
No, not Katy Perry, But we were her first interview.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
That's true of all time.
Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah, Oh that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Alejandra Hi is a Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Sabrina Carpenter, so she would have been six.
Speaker 5 (01:01):
I think Sabrina Carpenter might have not have been born yet.
Speaker 6 (01:03):
It's gonna be a big studs.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
No, she's like twenty four.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
You sure.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
I'm pretty sure she's younger than me.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Oh I thought she was thirty.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
I think twenty five.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yeah, so she was one, So it's not it's not
her though, not her.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
That would have been cool though.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
All right, good luck, Thank you very much. A lot
of guesses on the tax line. But I'm not going
to say in the meantime what happened to you Peyton.
Speaker 5 (01:29):
With what we were just talking about. So I was
wondering if you guys have ever felt this way or
if you do feel this way when you walk into
a store and if the people working at the store
don't greet you, like you just get this feeling of
rage and want to walk out and leave. Because that's me.
If I walk into a store and nobody says hello,
(01:49):
I'm like, why am I here? Like a customer service?
Speaker 6 (01:52):
Sometimes I like it really I shop in peace?
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Well yeah, let me shop in peace, but I hope.
Speaker 6 (01:58):
I would like to be around yeah, And I feel like.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
If you don't say hi, then I don't feel like
I can ask you for help.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
I get that you know what I'm saying. But I've
seen John Jay get blow it off in stores and
don stop.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
I'm like a ghost. I walk into stores and get
completely ignored. It's unbelievable.
Speaker 6 (02:15):
Yeah, for a while it was like and it was.
It's it's not like you cannot see John Jay, you
know what I mean. He's super tall, he looks kind
of funny, like he's obviously in your store. But it's weird,
like you wouldn't think you could ignore him, but he
does right, like unusually ignored.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
It's weird.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, which is good because I think it's I use
it as a superpower. Just like yesterday I was in
the media.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
I just left gone, oh my goodness, that's insane. But
like if you walk into like a like a fast
casual restaurant and you're just standing there and nobody's looking
at you and you're just like hi, hello, Like I
just it makes me so mad. I don't I don't
know why it makes me so mad, but I get
this like physical reaction customer.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
You want to be yeah, you want to be acknowledged.
I don't think that's better.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Hey, real quick, but you got a guess who our
first guest was.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
I have been listening to you all since I was
like nineteen years old, and I'm taking a wild guest.
Speaker 6 (03:06):
But I'm going to guess Justin Bieber.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
No, but just like Katy Perry, we were his first interview. Okay,
thanks Robin May. Who do you say?
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Nay? Actually was the n as a Nancy So nay, nay,
guess yeah, nay.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
I would guess.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
That's that answer to that is nay. It is not
that a really good guess. It is not. But thank
you May or nay, thank you Peyton. You were talking
about fast casual. I went to this fast casual restaurant.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
And I have complained about this place before, and I
don't want to say their name, but they got new owners,
and they already when they got new owners, they like
a huge company bought them and they did little things
like when it was kind of mom and pop, they
you know, they immediately when they got the new owners,
they switched out the quality of cheese.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
But I actually didn't know that until you told me that.
And now I'm like, oh, no, wonder it doesn't taste
as great.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
So I go to this restaurant when there's like, oh,
let's go here. I want to eat healthy, but I
also want to just go It's fast casual, right, so
I stand to go order my food. I order, move
my food, and they have the balls to turn the
thing around for a twenty five percent tip, right, And
I'm like, because I've been here before and I've already
had the problem with the tipping, right, so.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Instead I tip three dollars.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Okay, Okay, they bring my food out, but they don't
bring out utensils, they don't bring out anything, right, so
you have to go get all that. What's the tip for,
right if all I'm doing is ordering and then you're
bringing it out.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
But I got to get up and go get my spoon.
So they bring me soup.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
I ordered a soup, the weing a soup, and then
they said if there's anything else you need, let me
know as they were walking away, like I couldn't even yeah,
a spoon on a spoon.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Well you make a good point though, because if you
pay at the counter at McDonald's and you go eat,
they don't ask for a tip because there's no service.
So why is this place any different. It's the same thing.
You go up and order and there's there's no difference, right,
there's no servers.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
The tip thing can be go on forever. Pam, who
do you think was our first in studio?
Speaker 5 (05:06):
Guest, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
I think it was Paula Abdul.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
No, that's a good guest. She was the richest wedding.
She also went to the wrong wedding.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
That's so funny.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Thank you very much, Sharon. Who do you think was
our in studio guest?
Speaker 6 (05:29):
Adam Levine?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
He wasn't in studio. Not funny, it's joke myself. No,
that wasn't it great?
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Well, I just realized as I go through all these calls,
at the relationship we have and all these artists.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Brittany, do you know who our first in studio guest was.

Speaker 2 (06:34):

concert at the park Place Mall in the night, right,
that's right, I love you it was and everything like
I'm an all time fan.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Wait, it was Tucson Mall. And I remember because we
had you had to go to McDonald's and get a wristband.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
And they made it really complicated. And then don't forget
sole decision.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Do you remember Decision at Foothills. At the Foothills Foothills
which is now.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
Zig dropped Dirty Pop. We did a sticker stop for
Dirty Pop to go. Yeah, You're a day one.

Chang Smoker tickets.
Speaker 2 (07:21):

grabs a guitar and this happens.
Speaker 5 (07:26):

Jay and Rich program on k i Q. Little Diddy
about John Jay and Rich.
