Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
Ryan Air with Ryan Secret. It's listening in a jay
with you this week. Why are you laughing? I'm just
laughing at something I just said before that. So we're
in the middle of a heat wave right now, and

(00:20):
I get home yesterday after we're done with the show
and the house is like a little stuffy, and so
I'm like, I'm just gonna, you know, put a C
on a little bit cooler. But apparently it was just
not working. So it's broken. We call the repairman. He's
up on the roof trying to fix it for hours.
Parts are broken when ordered them. Hopefully it gets fixed today.
Long story short, We house got up to eighti six

(00:42):
degrees last night. It was literally a billion degrees outside yesterday,
and of course it goes out there. Why is it
that our a C is always break in the middle
of a heat wave. Probably because it's working over time,
so over like compensate or something like that. But I
feel like it's not like not like I honestly, we
don't put our a C at like sixty five or

(01:03):
like six, you know, it's like we always try to
keep it like right around seventy six. There's not a
sauna seventy six. Yeah, because if you have it at
like sixty and then you're really cranky. Let me tell you,
I have mine on a risk sixty eight. When I
walk in, I want to feel like I wouldn't be
married if I could have it at sixty eight when
I was single. Yes, I could. Michael will not allow

(01:26):
sixty in our household because our c would be breaking
every six months. So we have to keep it. No,
I don't think we go past seventy four. I don't.
I truly believe we're always hovering around seventy seventy six.
It's like me whenever I visit my grandmother, I'll come
in and the arias on like eighty two, and I'm

(01:46):
literally like, I will pay I will pay the bill
if you just let me put it on seventy two.
So I'm in there trying to reason with her because
she's always cold. There's the whole thing about it. You
can't like. I don't know for us. We can't crank
it low. It'll it'll bust it. Really I think so,
but I don't know. We just got a brand new
one in. It broke right before the pandemic or right

(02:09):
like that week I remember, I feel like after two years,
it should not be breaking again. Exactly. Well, we live
in the valley, so we use her erazy year round.
I know. So it was a miserable night. I mean
the baby would not go down. And she's the easiest
baby to put to sleep, like I literally sing her
a song, I lay her down, I give her her
passing and her little you know bunny that she hugs,

(02:31):
and that's it. Oh. She was like what is this?
Like it's so hot. I was having weird dreams. I swear,
I was like hallucinating, like it was just you know,
I just I can't. I don't do well in the
heat like that, neither do I. Like that's why I
need to keep mine so And then when I go

(02:51):
to sleep, I put it even lower because I want
to get all underneath the covers, and like really, when
I go to hotels, I put it at sixty. That's like,
I love, it's super cool like that because I'm not
allowed to have it. It doesn't love me. I feel
like Aaron. The hotel is so like inconsistent because it
will stay like sixty eight and then you wake up

(03:12):
in the morning and it'll be like eighty two and
then it will go back to mess with one degree
in a hotel room. It's like, oh now it's all stuffy, right,
How did this happened? Congested? I think I have a headache.
I think that when it comes to temperatures, that's like
one of the biggest things that couples argue about. For
whatever reason, Michael and I can never agree on a
temperature for our home, Like he likes it hotter, I

(03:36):
like it colder, or say with him when we're in
a hotel room, etcetera, etcetera. I wonder if, like I
was going to say like sleeping in separate rooms and
stuff there yet not to say like anything's wrong or
anything like that, but just like, you know, so you
can have your temperature, you can have this temperature, you
know what I mean. I don't think we need to
go there, but I guess you really don't realize how
much you appreciate just the normal things of just having

(03:57):
your normal temperature at home until something like your air
conditioning breaks. Though. Did you call those people that came
and fixed it two years ago to come back, because yeah,
it was the same guy. So it's under warranty. So
that's good. Yeah, and then that was the other thing.
Of course, we don't have a great filing system, and
so we find and you know where it was. Okay,
So Michael goes, where is this paper? I'm like, I

(04:19):
don't know. It might be in the mail drawer, but
I think we had filed it. Maybe I doubt it's
in the filing cabinet where it's supposed to be. So
it's probably in that pile over there, in that one
bagger in the closet. So he rips the office apart,
like there's everywhere. I guess where it was in the
filing cabinet where it should be. The whole time, if
you ask me, like where one of my warranty papers are,

(04:40):
I would have no idea. Like I have these drawers
underneath like a TV stand, and that's normally where I
put things in. But like it's so inconsistent, so I
have to like call and ask anyway, there needs to
be a better system. I think we should just be
able to take pictures of them and like pictures or
like online picture put it in an app. I thank
you for coming in, by the way, I know you do.
Nights of course, So I'm just saying thank you and

(05:01):
be nice to you now because then I'm gonna was
about to say, because I feel like I feel the
heat coming and it's not just from your house. I
feel like that he is about to roast me right
about now. It's not a roast. Let's just have a
conversation and Ruby coming on this because I'm gonna need
to back up Ruby, who's one of our producers here.
And uh, I don't understand your voice notes, And Ruby,

(05:24):
do you okay? When we text you, you don't text
back with words. You text back with the audio recording.
Not not all the time though, I feel like, what
are you talking? Cheese man? That's so that's what it is, right, No,

(05:44):
Because so you know, like you said, normally, I'll do
nights and you'll text me like nine o'clock we'll have this,
you know, such a such a new song. We're doing this.
We're doing that because there's a lot of news, a
lot of new music that comes out, um nine pm
Thursdays into Fridays, and so I'm always is like those
Thursday nights, I'm always texting e J like, hey, put
in the new Beyonce. They're putt in the whatever new

(06:05):
this knew that, or I already slid it into your
nine o'clock hour, right because we do New at nine
every night at not o'clock here on Kiss FM. Shameless bluck.
But I just wanted to I think whenever I am
doing it, I am in the mix of everything that's
going on in the studio. The song again, I am
editing a phone call, I am editing a phone call.

(06:33):
I am you know, I'm really gonna thick of it
right now, So I mean whenever, whenever, So I think
that's when I do it because there's just a lot
going on, and I feel like it's so much easier.
You only so you're you're claiming then you only do
it when you're working. That is a lie, you know

(06:54):
what it is. I think it's so much easier than texting,
don't you think, Especially if I'm in a car like
dry being and I need to get something. Fine, if
you're driving, fine, maybe I understand that, But as the
receiving end, no, because when I'm texting you, I'm at home,
my kids are screaming in the background, and I'm then
you send me back back that audio and I'm trying
to hear it like up to my ear and then

(07:16):
then hold it up to your ear. My house is
that loud? That's the difference and trying to turn to
the speaker on and it goes away after a while
and it's like just keep but then there's no I
don't know how to do that stuff. Come on, come on, Ruby,
you really have an issue with whenever I send voice
notes and whatnot? Because I remember that sometimes it's like, okay,

(07:40):
come on, just text me, just send of you. It's
rose and rows and rows of voice notes. I'm just like,
why I feel weird not sending a voice sometimes I
think you are able to send however you want to
send the message back, but I feel like what's easier
for me and that you know, and that time period,
is to send a voice note. Listen, I got like

(08:02):
three unread text messages. So if I'm like sitting, you
have voice notes. Mr. Popular. I'm saying, though, so wait,
the unread text messages are the ones that are that
people wrote out, not voice notes. No, I'm just saying like,
it's I think it's a whole I guess convenience thing
when it comes to it. You know what I'm saying,
and I'm just old school, like I don't like people

(08:23):
that leave me a voicemail, Like I will never listen
to your voicemail. I'm not leaving a voicemail. The only
person that leaves only the same thing person that leaves
a voicemail is my grandmother. And I will always listen
to that voicemail, always, always, because you know we have
we had that conversation, like, I will always call her,
I will always listen to that voicemail. I find it

(08:45):
just as annoying to listen to a voice note. It's
the same thing because it's like now I have to
sit here and concentrate, whereas like I could just sit
here and read a text and still watch my house
on TV. You still have to concentrate. If you get
a text message watching the house as a Beverly Hills
and glanced down on my phone, see the text and
keep watching, I have to stop what I'm doing. If

(09:05):
I have a voice note, I have to literally put
it up to my ear and concentrate on what you're saying,
because it goes away what you can't hear. I will speak,
I speak loudly and clearly what I'm leaving a voice notes, know,
like how like for example, what I don't know? Like,

(09:25):
I'm like, all, we probably need to tell me something
important in the novels it and you were like, yeah,
I'm down for this track. I have nothing to do
with anything that was supposed to be business. No, there
were I remember a specific time. It was Kayla and
I in the studio. We were asking a question about
a song and like something being leaked or something like that. Oh,

(09:47):
that's what it was. Can can we say that? Right?
But why can't you type that? Because I got all? Right?
You know, we knew the this was not going to
be the only wedding that they had in Vegas. Yeah,
because I felt like they would do it big. I mean,

(10:08):
it was very cute and she looked beautiful talking about
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. But their reports going out
now that their wedding that they had or guess the
marriage license that they got on July sevent in Vegas
and that low key ceremony is not the only thing
that's going down. There are reports that they're going to

(10:28):
have a three day wedding celebration starting this Friday. To
get your invite, I did not I think my still coming.
I don't know. Maybe no, it's not till Friday. I mean,
if I got one, I probably you know, too hungover
to go. According to d MZ, it's going to be
at his estate in Georgia. Um. The rehearsal dinner reportedly

(10:49):
is set for Friday, as ceremony is gonna take place
on Saturday and a barbecue and picnic will be on Sunday.
But I mean we knew that there was there was
going to be eventually a larger, bigger wedding celebration of
some sources. When it comes to j Low and then right,
I feel like I love that it's an extravaganza. It
is a event. It is like it just seems like

(11:10):
it's going to be such a good time. Three days.
Like I went to a like almost like a three
day wedding in Key West and they were planning the reactivities,
everything was planned out, and I had the time of
my life, like just three days. Because I know in
your head, you're like, man, three days, we're celebrating for
three days, and no, it was good. Well, when it
is the destination wedding, it's like, yes, you have to
entertain your guests. I think for that amount of time.

(11:32):
Ours was not Ours was just a two day thing
because it was here local in downtown Los Angeles, and
we just had the rehearsal dinner on Friday and then
the wedding, and then we did not do a brunch
on Sunday because we figured everybody would be hungover. Like
I'll need to see anybody on that Sunday and enjoy
my rest exactly exactly. But I love weddings. I am

(11:54):
here for them. I'm I just especially if it's like
a good friend or a good family member, someone you
know you're going to have a good time with. You know.
What I enjoyed the most about about it is dressing up.
I love dressing up, and because I feel like people
will be like, oh man, I do too. But it
depends on how I feel about my body at the time, true.

(12:15):
So like if I'm feeling like really good and like,
you know, like I've been working out and like, and
then I'm like yes, But if I'm like feeling kind
of chubby those weeks and I'm like, oh man, I'm
just struggling to find a dress for the wedding, and
I kind of struggle. But whatever I tell you that
girl problems. I tell you what, Like, I will find
like the perfect outfit and I will be like, man,

(12:35):
I'm like killing it, like in my head, like hyping
myself up before I go to this wedding. I love
the dressing up aspect. I think it's good for you
because every day you just wear T shirts and like
cougie daddy shorts. The fact that you put on some
slacks and some nice you know, a nice button down.
I think it's a good change, a good you know.
You just reminded me. I'm about to post the hoochie
daddy shorts on my Instagram. It is EJ and just

(12:56):
the sec the big shout out to benefit an affleck back. Actually,
did you did you see this guy? Have this clip
of Ben speaking Spanish? He was doing the show. Um,
I don't know who he was talking to, but he
was making the rounds on social media and it's pretty
good fun. That is really good, really good. He apparently

(13:21):
he learned Spanish when he filmed the TV show in
Mexico when he was a kid. I love that. That
was again my mom and my my brother went went
me to Mexico when I was working on a show
called and then we don't know the name of the show.

(13:43):
It cuts off. I wonder if he stakes Spanish to Jen.
I wonder, can you guys call us and let us know.
Are you listening right now? Are you taking the kids
to school? Can you let us know? That would be
so cool if they did, be like, yes, we do.
You know who did call us right now? Who's that? Jacqueline?
Jacqueline online four? Hello, Jacqueline, Hi in here, Hi, you're here?

(14:08):
You call her? What too? Yeah? You're gonna go see
the Dodgers. Yeah, I'm excited date night without the kids.
Oh girl, I feel you. I know that is gonna
be so much fun. I'm congratulations. We're gonna get you
all set up with those as they take on the
Arizona diamondback September nine. So get the babysitter lined up

(14:32):
and you're all set up to go. Okay, perfect, thank you?
All right, hang on one second. Okay, it's time for
your six fifty shoutouts. Going to the phones right now
in Uppland, Melinda, who do you want to shout out
this morning? Hi? I want to shout out to my
my daughter Sophia. She's in seventh grade and I just
want to apologize to her because I keep getting her

(14:55):
up at six o'clock every day, every morning, and I'm
not supposed to. Why are you waking her up so early?
I don't know. My alarm goes off and then I
just run into her room and say good morning, and
she's like, oh, I don't have to go until seven.
I'll tell you what I want to say. Thank you

(15:15):
for apologizing because I had parents who never apologize, and
I think the generation absolutely and I think it's so
great that you're apologizing to her. Oh and on the
air too, because I feel so bad. Let's just not
wake her up at six am, Tom and Sophia, I'll

(15:36):
never do it again. Thank you for going with Linda
Lou in India. Who do you want to shout out
this morning? Hi? Good morning. I wanted to shout out
to my daughter Alicia. She's starting high school today. It's
her first day and that's at looking to high school.
So I want to wish her a great day. And

(15:57):
she's a little nervous and she's excited, so I do
want to send her positive vibes and everything's going to
be great. Yes, positive vibes from everybody. How are you
feeling um nervous too. She's my baby, so she's the
last one heading into high school. I'm excited for her.
I know, high school the best years, especially when I

(16:19):
showed up a positive really good thing is that she
wanted to get into theater and she did get that class.
So I'm super excited for that. So nice, nice, well cool.
We wish here the best first day ever. Thank you
for calling Luke. All right, thanks guys, bye bye. And

(16:40):
today's quote, the intention is to arrive at a place
where you no longer have the urge to escape. On
air with Ryan's Secrets headlines, craft Times is recalling more
than five thousand cases of Capri Son because they may
be contaminated with cleaning solution. Company announced it's recalling cases

(17:04):
of Capri Soun wild cherry after diluted cleaning solution was
put into a production line at one of its factories.
Can you imagine, you know, I can drink a whole
box of Capri Sons in one sitting. That is not
something to be proud of Egypt. They are delicious, like
after two SIPs, you're done. But the wild cherry ones
right now, the Metropolitan Water District is calling on Southern

(17:26):
California is to completely stop outdoor watering for full fifteen
days so they can make emergency repairs to a critical pipeline.
The shutdown would start on September six. It's projected to
affect more than four million people, including customers in Burbank, Glendale,
Long Beach, Pasadena, San Fernando, and Torrance and Nipsey Hustle

(17:46):
was honored yesterday with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star
on what would have been his thirty seventh birthday. His
star is right in front of Amiba Music on Hollywood
Boulevard and Argyle on air with Ryan Seacrest coming up
at seven twenty a second date updates your favorite we'll

(18:08):
see what's going down. And actually, in about an hour,
our friend Jack's, Uh, she's got a new song, Victoria's Secret,
which is just blowing up on TikTok and it's popping
up on Billboard charts, radio stations. I'm sure you've heard it. Victoriously,

(18:29):
she's making money. So the original video has are like
five million likes, thirty nine million views and whatnot. But
it all started when she when Jack's wrote the song

(18:51):
for the young girl that she babysits who was upset
after bathing suit shopping for with her friends and she
was made fun of her body by one of her friends.
And this is the audio from that TikTok. So this
is Chelsea. She's the kid I babysit. Storytime, storytime, storytime, storytime, storytime. Okay,
so yesterday I picked Chelsea up from the mall because

(19:14):
she's going to her first boy girl pool party, and
her and her friends went bikini shopping at Victoria's Secret.
Chelse literally got on the car hysterically crying to me
because this one little cracked said something that made me cringe.
It's gonna see that said. She said, the beating tea
made me look too fat, too flat, too fat and

(19:38):
too flat? Can you I mean just hurt my heart?
I really, I know it hurt my heart too, and
obviously hurt Jackson's heart as well. So she created this song,
Victoria's Secret, which now we know I has blown up
to the point where everybody is singing it. And this
little girl, Rosie, who I don't even know how old
Rose Rosie is. Would you say she's maybe seven, six
or seven years old? She was at summer camp and
she sang this on stage. See she was made up

(20:23):
by a dude. I love the message so much. I
love that it's resonating with so many young girls around
the world at this point. So we're going to speak
with Jack's coming up just after eight o'clock as so
many of us are going back to school this week
with the new start time, and I'm really excited to

(20:43):
speak with her. All right, e j you ready for
a second date update? Always I think in this case
this might be a fourth or fifth date update. I
need to get the details on this. Colleen, are you
there in Mission Gate? Hoo? Yes, I am high. Thank
you for emailing us. So you went out with this
guy four times. Things were kind of building nicely. You

(21:06):
even took him to a friend's wedding. Was this what
in San Diego? Yeah? In San Diego? Okay, So then
now what happened? So the Sunday morning we were driving
home from the wedding, Um, he just kind of randomly
set in the car that he thinks we're better off
his friends. Um, just just kind of like out of nowhere. Um,

(21:29):
after we had such a great weekend. And I was
really really shocked by that, because I mean it really
just came out of nowhere. Um, and it was super
awkward the rest of the did you guys have a
good time at the wedding? Like, did something go wrong
that night? Not that I'm aware of. I had an
amazing time. I thought he did too. Yeah, it was great.

(21:49):
That's a random to bring up, especially when you're going
to be in the car with this person for the
next couple of hours. I think he was probably thinking
that with his inside voice and it came out out loud, probably,
But I just I like I was confused why he
felt that way or what happened or whatever. Anyways, it
was super awkward and and I totally like I should
have asked him what it was. I was just like

(22:11):
thrown off, And let me tell you what I would
have done. I would have left him on the side
of the five. Okay, we better off as friends? Get out?
What did you do calling? Did you drive the whole
way back? Did you go back to Mission vieho? Yeah?
Okay something not too bad of it. Drive maybe one
hour or so? Can some change still? Yeah? Yeah? I

(22:33):
was still like forty five mins of like awkward dishes,
like I was crying and I don't know what would
you say why? Like I would have been like why
why why? I like, looking back, I should have, but
I think I was just so thrown off by the
whole thing. I didn't really like I was trying to
process it and like, yeah, also, did he try to
comfort you when you were crying? No, he just sat there.

(22:54):
I don't. Yeah, this is strange. I almost don't mean
so you so now you obviously you want to know why,
and do you want to get back with him? Like
what do you want here? You want closure? You want
an answer? I mean, yeah, I think I just want
like some sort of closure or some sort of like
explanation of like what what I did, if I did anything,

(23:15):
or like what happened, because right now I'm just at
a loss, like I have no idea when was the wedding.
It was over the weekend. Okay, alright, Colleen and Mission Viejo,
hang on one second. I believe we do have Matt.
He has agreed to come on so and we're going
to talk to him and we're gonna try to find
out why. On the drive home from San Diego to

(23:35):
Mission Viejo after the wedding, where you say everything was great,
you guys dance. Did you guys hook up that night?
Like everything was good? Uh? To be honest, I don't
really reflect her. I mean I was like enjoying myself
at the wedding. Um yeah, okay, hang on, hello Matt, Hi, Hi,

(23:58):
thank you for coming on with us. It's Syny and
e J. How how are you guys doing. Hi, We're good.
You're on Air one or two point seven kiss FM.
Oh thank you? Yes, okay, thank you for coming on. Okay,
So we're actually calling about somebody that you recently dated

(24:19):
named Colleen. Oh yeah, okay. How did it go with her?
I mean she's she's a really great person, you know,
Um I think and uh yeah, we went out a
few times and uh you know, we even went to
a wedding, and you know, then afterwards we kind of

(24:43):
decided we we should just be friends. Matt. Why did
you say I think when you said she's a really
good person? Uh, you know, because I haven't known her
all that long and it's, uh, you know, time will tell,

(25:03):
right if someone's a good person. So, I mean, how
long does it take to know that someone's a good person.
Sometimes you can know right off the bat, and sometimes
maybe your mind gets changed. I guess I don't know.
What do you think changed your mind? Um? Well, honestly, Um, again,
the jury is still kind of out right. So I

(25:25):
I think honestly that she is a good person. I
think that she has some darkness that I don't necessarily
want to be a part of. What is that? Look,
I'm gonna be looking. I'm gonna be completely honest with you. Matt.
You know, we know that on the on the drive
home from the wedding that you basically called it quit.
So what what happened that night? I mean, am I

(25:47):
allowed to talk about that on the air? I don't
know if that's like? Yeah, I don't. I don't necessarily
feel comfortable like talking about that. Uh well, you know what,
how about we'll let Colleen decide. She is on line
right now, Colleen, are you comfortable with Matt getting into this? Yeah? Yeah,
I'm at hi. This is weird. Okay, So what was

(26:11):
the issue? Matt? Okay? So we we hung out a
few times, right, and uh it was always really light.
It was always fun, and uh, I just I feel
like at the wedding she she might have shown her
true colors in some respect. Um. I don't know how

(26:32):
many drinks she had, but it was more than four.
And we'd only ever had like two or three together.
So at the wedding, you know, open bar, you you
get to let loose, and I don't know, she just
started just showing me the side of her that was
really domineering and critical and like it was she was

(26:55):
just like getting upset about like what I was wearing,
how I should have been wearing a different color, how
she had told me about the colors of the wedding
and I wasn't paying attention to her. And then she
was telling me that I needed to cut my hair. Uh,
and even started talking about my job and how she
didn't like what I was doing and how like if

(27:15):
we were going to be together, I would have to
get a different job. So she was just being over critical. Colleen,
is this true? Uh? I don't, I don't know. I
don't remember I mean that I would. I yeah, I
had you know, a few drinks, like a lot, and
because it was my I mean, it's just my friends
that I'm very close with. Um. So you know, it

(27:38):
was such a great exciting weekend for her and for
me and everyone, and so you know, I had a
great time, and I, yeah, I really don't know. I mean,
I guess I would be lying if I said I
hadn't heard that. I'm like a lot to you know,
when I'm drunk. But um, I mean that's you know,
that's just a one off time kind of thing. And

(28:03):
I don't think I would never say that. I would
never say that to anybody like normally. But you said
it when you were drunk. I don't know. I don't know,
did I You don't even remember like that, you don't
even remember what you said to me? So why why
should I be involved with that? You know? Like, why

(28:24):
do I have to take that when you don't even
remember what am I supposed to do with that? I
don't know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I I guess
I said that to you. That's like totally out of
character for me. Really, are you open to a second chance, Matt? Honestly,
I have to think about it because the way that

(28:44):
she treated me, I've not been treated like that. I
don't know if I've ever been treated like like I
didn't know anybody there and it was just sort of
like being ostracized. Look, I've been there too. I've definitely
gotten too drunken situations and said things I've regretted and
and you just you gotta you gotta learn from it
and and hopefully not do it again. Yeah yeah, Why

(29:08):
don't you guys text each other and see if there's
something there. Give it some time? Yeah, well, well give it?
Yeah sure, I mean, like, I don't know, in a
month or two, it's it's okay, okay, alright, guys, I'm
gonna let you go. Thank you, all right, bye bye bye.

(29:31):
I never get second hand embarrassment, but someone really Yeah yeah,
on Air with Ryan Seacrest. You're on Air with Ryan
Seacrest is off this week it's Cyity and E. J.
Jacks is joining us. Now, Hi, Jack's, Oh my goodness,

(29:52):
congratulations on all your success. What these past few weeks
have just been insane for you, Nutty. I'm having a
very hard time processing all of it. So actually the
coolest part about it is that people just took the
song and made it their's and like told their own stories.
So those videos I'm seeing all day long in my messages,

(30:13):
messages from like parents and stuff like that, and that's
the the dream. They make me cry. So I don't
know how I cry a lot. I actually tried all.
I cried all morning. Actually, I'm literally watching these days.
I'm like, oh my gosh, the little girl singing on
stage like summer camp and yeah, Rosie, yes, Rosie. Oh my.

(30:35):
So this all started because you babysit this girl and
she went to the Victoria's Secret to buy bating sue
and well, you know people that know how viral. Then
you decided to make this song for her. Did you
ever think it would blow up like this? No? I
mean I I baby said the girl named Chelsea, And
that relationship is basically like before the pandemic, I was

(30:55):
babysitting her a lot to pay the bills because I
was not making money as a songwriter out here. And
then basically like when things happened on TikTok for me,
she came back and was like, my friends still believe
that my babysitter is TikTok famous. And I was like, well,
then why don't we come on over and start making
songs and posting them? So she did, and then not
everybody loves her. So she's always telling me when she's here,

(31:15):
especially when we're trying to look for inspiration for the music.
She's always telling me, like the drama in school, you know,
some of the girls that are mean to her, some
of the boys she has crushes on. Yeaha YadA, so
she yeah. She was telling me about like how she
was really ultimately feeling pretty insecure about her body. And
for me, when I was her aged, that's when all
of my crazy body is she started. I think a

(31:37):
lot of us, you know, and if I even see
like moms sometimes commenting my TikTok, being like there, this
is too young for them to be thinking about this,
And I was like, listen, Karen, is actually exactly when
it starts, so open your eyes. Yes, So, Chelsea, I
I'm at a point now where I'm in the best
place I've ever been with my body, but not an

(32:00):
entirely like healed place by any means. So I never
felt comfortable talking about this kind of thing or even singing.
But I knew there may become a time where I
was comfortable talking about it. But it wasn't like something
I felt like I was ready to do. It kind
of felt kind of like a fraud because I'm not
super confident in it yet, Like I still look in
the mirror and have really bad days. But when I

(32:22):
hear things like Chelsea and young girls demning me their
stories about being called fat in school, I was like,
you know what I have to this is my responsibility
at this point to sing about it, and hopefully I'll
get there personally, but at least I can make sure
that it doesn't happen with the next generation of wet
CEO s SO. And by the way, these girls are

(32:46):
not too young for this message, because these these feelings,
they happen when you start playing with Barbies, Like you know,
the age the age requirement for Barbie's is three and up.
So it's like, you know what I mean, Like for me,
like I I remember having these feelings as a young
little girl, and then you're right, it's like I grew
up with all like the skinny image with these supermodels

(33:07):
and for Victoria's Secret Models and all that stuff. So
thank you for this message. It's much needed. Yeah, I mean,
like probably the two of us grew up in a
generation a little different than now, and it's like kind
of now they have I didn't start a body positivity movement,
you know, it's already here. I just that's not what
my algorithm looks like. Until it's until this past month.

(33:27):
But um, it's it's cool that these the kids now
get access to all that stuff. So it's fun to
be a part of it. And sorry you went through
it the way I went through it, but you know what,
we could at least talk about it, and that's maybe
that's our job. So the CEO of Victoria's Secret reacts
to your song, Yeah, what goes through your mind when
you saw that message? Well, for oh my gosh, at first,

(33:50):
I was like, no, they saw this, and they're like
enough to like post about it. Like I kind of
figured at this point they knew about it, right, you know,
they the comments over there kind of crazy at this point,
but I didn't realize it was enough for the CEO
to write a personal letter. And that's the point where
all that other stuff comes into play where I don't

(34:11):
actually really feel like I'm I don't feel comfortable talking
about this kind of thing on behalf of everybody else
because I've actually had it not as bad as most people,
you know, Like there are so many people out there
that really really need to talk about this and make
sure the Victoria's Secret and companies like Victoria's Secret actually
hear their voice, and I always found that, like social

(34:33):
media is so strange in that way, when some big
corporation gets called out for something, they go right to
the influencer and they go right to the face the
issue and the thing that's getting all the likes and
the comments and the radio stuff whatever. But the purpose
of the song was actually the opposite of that. It
was to say, like, now there's like a but Jillian
people affected by this, and nobody's being heard and everybody's manipulated,

(34:56):
So like, can we just maybe put the spotlight on
everybody else and let them Now that they're looking at
my account, I was like, everybody, just comment what you
need and like and hopefully it works and or makes
some sort of a difference. So do you feel like
that that was the intent somewhat of getting response from
the CEO possibly of when I wrote it? Yeah, literally

(35:18):
not at all. I was like, I actually I felt
the wrath of going up against a brand, And when
I put the song, I mean, as a songwriter, the
words Victoria's seeker actually like the dream pun right, Like
you get to play on who Victoria is and that's
cool lyrically, but the song is not actually about Victoria's Secret. Specifically,
it's just about all of those body standards and images

(35:41):
that were force fed to us and advertisements growing up
and convinced us strategically like and intentionally convinced us that
we weren't pretty or beautiful or good enough because we
didn't look like these models. And it's not just it's
an entire culture of weird marketing and strategic marketing actuality
young girls, because you know, the one thing I think

(36:05):
that makes more money. Then you know, everybody feeling included
and feeling like they could buy this and get along
with this or whatever is making people feel insecure, and
then we dive into our wallets to just try to
attain this undertakable thing. Right, it's actually definitely a war
on the people. So it's good. It's good that everybody
gets there, say now and keep it coming. So how's

(36:26):
little Chelsea now with her friends? I'm seeing her today
for the first time. She actually has um. I'm so excited.
I just made me smile so hard because she has.
She was in summer camp the last two months and
she has no idea what's going on. Actually, she had
no phone because she had counselors telling her like, you're
not gonna believe this, but like I want to show

(36:46):
us to you, but you're like famous, and she's going
to get home today and um between us, So I
guess you guys can know this first, but we're surprising
her with joeju A today. Oh no idea, So Joejoe
is actually going to get here at five. She thinks
she's making a video to get JoJo's attention and get
her to comment on it. But when Jojo is gonna

(37:08):
walk in and she's turning thirteen, so it's a thirteen
birthday cake. So like this is a big day for
Chelsea and she doesn't know it, but that is so cute.
Like honestly, people are like, what's it like? Like you
know you're you're doing it your singer. I'm like, I
actually have like way more fun babysitting. Can I go
back to babies? And because this is the fun part,

(37:29):
I was loving this such a good person. Jack's congratulations
on all your success. This is amazing. So this is
the only at the beginning I feel, I you know,
what if if it all goes away tomorrow, I I
feel really good about this. It came from a really
good place so I'm really really happy and thank you
for giving me a platform and the opportunity. I want
to meet you guys in person. I think I remember

(37:50):
saying a zombree. I was like yes, Ryan and SWS
and the tie Jojo. Honestly, I whatever you guys. I
hear that. There's like did you just have a baby
or no, you had a baby birthday? Yes I did, Yes, yes,
I next time. I want the invite to that come

(38:14):
on on the internet. Babysitter wanted Jack point you could
have had my invite? Please? What the heck? I honestly
like would have been. That's all you need, your hands down,
the coolest babysitter that I've ever met. So you are
hired and you're more welcome to come over any time. Right,

(38:35):
I'll see you there. I will get your one year
old in the TikTok. Thank you so much and enjoy
the rest of your day. And everybody needs to go
and watch all of our videos and listen to Victoria's Secret.
Will play it again later this afternoon with Joejoe. Actually, hey,
Jack's everybody, Oh my gosh, Air with Ryan Secrets. You're

(39:00):
on air with Ryan Seacrest eight thirty right here on
your Tuesday as kids are going back to school this week,
L A U S D. Welcome back. We loved that
late start. Let me tell you, I wish we had
that when I was in school. I know it makes
a big difference, right because I know that nobody can
start until at least eight thirty, and some schools are
even starting as late as nine o'clock. So that doesn't
even got olock, did not not listen to, does not

(39:26):
know what he's talking about. Such a bad influences, making
a bad influences. All right, let's talk about being drunk.
All right. So last last hour we had a second
date update and I kind of want to get back
into it because it was a situation where she over
drank at a wedding and that was the deal breaker

(39:48):
for him. I think the deal breaker was because she
was like lashing out at him and super overcritical and
was super mean. Okay, right, so he says, but she
doesn't remember, she doesn't remember. But also we didn't get
his side of the story, or we didn't we don't
know her side of the story per him, or like

(40:10):
basically like how drunk was he? Is? My question? You
know what I mean like he's basically saying, like she
did this, this, is this this, but maybe he was
drinking too and he remembers it a different way. But
besides the point, when people get drunk they act different. Fine, fair,
But is the drunk you the real you? That's what
that was what his point was, that was her true colors?

(40:32):
But is that her true colors? I think when not
necessarily the real you, because we're not one dimensional creatures.
But I feel like it's a part of you, if
that makes sense. Elaborate like, I feel like it's just
one of your not to say you have many personalities,
but you know we're not one dimensional creatures. We have
you know, we have different emotions, different you know, things

(40:54):
that trigger us and whatnot. So I feel like when
you are drunk, it's just a part of you. It's
not necessary early who you really are. Okay, Okay, it
brings out a side of you, right. I just want
to hear many people that's inside of you. I think
it'll it'll you know, it exaggerates your personality or something

(41:14):
like that. Have you so you've seen me drunk? Yes,
that was a quick response. We've had We've had some
good times here, We've had some really good trying to
think if I've seen you drunk, but I don't know
that I have. I don't think. I don't think you
would realize if you have, because I am I think,
I think I'm I don't want to say friendly, you're
but I'm the same person. I think I'm a little

(41:36):
bit more like Huggy. I'm a happy drunk. I'm happy. Yeah. Absolutely,
we were like dancing together to Megan the Stallion at Coachella.
That was a good time. That was a good time.
We were out at the pool having fun, like it
was just a good time. You know. I feel like

(41:57):
people drink to let loose, relax, but then you do
eventually it crosses the line at some points and then
it can get dark. Do you think for some I
was about to say, do you think that's the case
for everyone? Case for everyone? And I think when it
gets to those dark places, those are other demons, Those
are other like there's other rooted issues when it comes

(42:20):
to that. And I don't necessarily that means that that's
that those are the true colors of that person. I
just think that those are demons that they haven't dealt with,
and it gets amplified with alcohol or drugs or whatever
it is, which is interesting because I know a lot
of people that drink to like suppress the demon. If
that makes people do that, that's why. Yeah, then it's
like it comes around full circle when you know you
drink too much and it's like coming out so to

(42:43):
one or two. Seven's interesting topic. And I'm curious, is
the drunk you the real You do think that's really you,
But I don't think the drunk Siciany is the real Siciany,
like because you you have not necessarily multiple people, but
you are not a one to mentional person. It's just
one of your one of your what's the word not personalities,

(43:05):
I want to say, but it's just like one of
it's an extension of you. But okay, but I'm also
you know, I would say I get drunk leg once
a week? You know? Is that a lot? Let me
judgment from from Mark, let me this room, Let me

(43:28):
tell you as many kids as you have. I'm surprised
it's not five times a week. I feel the blood
poilet in my faith. I got so red. You also
can't feel judgment from him because he doesn't drink, all right,
what's your take on this, Brittany. Um, Actually, I don't
think it is. Um. I think it's the shy you. Okay,

(43:53):
So elaborate a little bit on this. Sorry I'm nervoation. Oh,
don't be nervous. You're on arath Ryan secrets. By the way,
who's on occasions? It's just sysy you need it. It's
very relaxed right now, non judgmental, do your thing, okay. Um.
So I just think like you go throughout your day,
your life, pretending, pretending. I know what you mean. Okay, sorry,

(44:16):
who guard? It's like a guard, a shield our best self. Okay.
So when you drink the alcohol, it like it breaks
down those walls. It brings that on your guard. So
it brings out you thought you're afraid to show everybody.
And it's not like it's the real you. It's just
a part of you that you're afraid to show everybody.

(44:38):
So it's like an extension of you what you're saying. Yeah,
it's like it's not like a personality disorder. Um, it's like, um,
like if you're afraid to talk to the person that
you can have a crush on, and you drink alcoholic
thinksout that like that courage to do it, so, like
they say, it's like like a liquid courage converse. I

(44:59):
mean after the first day, the next day I went out,
so I went out with Michael and uh, you know,
we had a great night blah blah blah whatever. Then
the very next day I flew to Dallas to visit
my friends, and that night I went out drinking with
my friends in Dallas and I drunk with Michael, who
I just met, and I told him that I loved him.

(45:20):
What did he say? He just laughed at me. But
I remember doing that with my on me and my
boyfriend broke up. I drink, I've been drink and all
I can think about is like, I want to call him,
but I was like, you can't. You can't call him.
At least you stopped yourself. Well, I ended up marrying him,
so I guess it worked out. But we were together

(45:41):
for ten years and we have two kids together. So
thank you for calling, Brittany. Thank you so much. This
was very nervous you did. It's like you did all
your friends in North Hollywood, Mario and Wilmington. What's your
take on this? Yeah, I don't agree with that it

(46:02):
um uh if the real you. I think it's just
when it alters your mind. So that's that's all that happens.
I mean, it makes you act staway when you sorry,
I'm also nervous. It's all good, but but uh, it's
like you when you're sober, you know how to control
yourself and maintain yourself. And but when you do drink,

(46:23):
I mean you do or you do things or say
things there that you don't mean or say, like like
you you said you loved uh your your husband. Now
at that point, I'm pretty sure you didn't love him, right,
I mean, there's here's the thing. Couldn't necessarily been that
you were you were like really and strong like and
falling in love with him, Like was it in your
subconscious I had on a first date, like I had

(46:45):
just met him. Maybe it was like some love at
first sight or something like that was love at first sight.
But yeah, it's definitely something I did not want to
tell him. I mean, but I said it, and now
look what happened. You know, I guess it worked out.
But you know you're right, Mario, Yeah, I think it
does kind of just it alters your mind and you
just you you have no control either. You lose control.

(47:05):
That's why you can't drink and drive. I mean, really
good point. That's a good point. All right, so we
got one for one. Basically, thank you and Teresa. Hello, hey,
all right, what do you think in San Bernardino. It's
definitely it's the non still to you. It's what you
actually think and you won't say, but you know you

(47:30):
keep it in your head. You've got to be nice,
you know in public. But what if you drink? Yeah,
everything comes out. The truth comes out. That's why they
call it the truth serum. Well, the truth comes out,
but is it is it the real you? Or do
you just say the truth? Still confused? It's it's the

(47:51):
real you, just without a filter, essentially, that's what you're
saying exactly exactly whatever is clink clinkers exactly. Thank you
for calling to Resa. Hey, speaking to fun Jessica and
Chino Hills. You're gonna go see the Dodges from right here.

(48:15):
I got my little bell, Jessica either you're caller one
O two. Congratulations, you got tickets to go see the
Dodgers take on the Arizona diamondback September nineteen. Oh my, gosh, sure,
it's thank you. You are very welcome. Right, hang on
one second. We're gonna get you all set up with

(48:36):
that eight hundred five to seven. Tell me something good
is next on air with Ryan Seacrest. All right, only
good things. Let's go to San Gabriel, Kelly, tell me
something good. Oh, I I'm gonna say. I am about

(48:58):
to go into my last college in September. I'm very excited.
It's so good. What a great feeling. What are you studying.
I'm studying communications basically business or marketing. Okay, And where
do you go to school? I go to you see
out of Barbarak. Wow, that is a hard school to
get into. I didn't get in, so jealous. I never

(49:22):
even got my rejection. Noticed they didn't even send one
to me. They just like ghosted me. I didn't check out,
ghosted or got lost in the mail. Hey, congratulations, Kelly,
that is amazing. What a huge accomplishment. You must feel incredible.
Thank you so much. That's awesome. Let's go to Glendale

(49:43):
and Razmig. Did we say that correctly? Yes? Yes, good morning,
good morning, ring name doing guys, We are great? Tell
us something good? Okay, I will tell you something. It's
great for me. Maybe it's good for others, but it's
great for me. I was born in Iraq, in Baghdad,
and when the American forces came to Iraq uh in

(50:03):
two thousand three to two thousand eleven, I applied to
work as interpreter. I was with the troops for six
years as Iraqi in tepreter, and I'm proud of that. However,
when I came to America, I had a dream to
write a book about my adventure with Americans. This idea,
it took some from some friends as a as a fund.
They made a funnel piece and they said. One of

(50:24):
my close friends, he said, oh, this is the this
is the joke of the season. However, so but here
I am the book. It's ready now and I'm negotiating
with the publishing companies to publish the book. It's my
adventure with American troops in Iraq. That's greatly Probably this
is the first book as Iraqi trpreter in Iraq. That's

(50:47):
so good. Congratulation, Thank you so much, guys, that's awesome.
When is it going to be out? When is it
going to be out? Hopefully soon within the next two
or three months. Hopefully it's you call us. Can you
let us know? Yeah? I will, thank you so much.
All right, thank you Taylor in Toronto, Hey, thank you
for listening. What's your telling me? Something good? My twothe

(51:11):
baby cousin's got to come home? Oh? Where were they?
And the new one? I see you? Oh my goodness?
And how how long were they were in the nick you?
How long were they there? Oh my goodness? But now
they're home, healthy, happy? Yeah? And I got to name
one of them, what honor? What'd you name for? Lipa? Lipa?

(51:39):
It's very cute. I love it. Well. Thank you so
much for calling. And you hug those babies. I will.
I love them to death and I will always hang
out with Bobby and silver Leg Tell me something good.
Good morning everyone. I'm Bobby from silber Lake. At seventeen

(52:01):
years old, I took my first yoga class at Loyola
Marymouth and fell in love with the concept of connecting
healthily to your body and your mind and your spirit.
I told myself then, thirty years ago, that one day
I would open up my own wellness center and yoga studio,

(52:22):
and I did nice. And where's it at? It's un
still relate. It's called Zen Wellness l A dot com
and I've been waiting thirty years for this dream to
come true. And I'm here to tell everyone follow your
dreams you no matter where life takes you, absolutely and

(52:42):
go check out her studio En Wellness l A dot
com Air on air with Ryan secret e J. How
you doing. I'm doing good. This energy drink just kicked in,
so it looks like I could just run up and
down Olive New right now energy trying to stay awake

(53:03):
and alert. Well, I guess it's an off schedule for
you since you do nights, so I appreciate you waking
up early for us. You know, with summer winding down,
a lot of us probably spent time in hotels traveling.
You know, you just were out of town this past weekend. Yeah, well,
you may or may not want to know this information.
Former hotel employees are now posting on TikTok, and I

(53:26):
guess things that they would never do in a hotels,
Like if you're a hotel employee, They're like, I would
never do this. And because now they know how it
all works and they see the behind the scenes, they've
been able to pull back the curtain because they work there.
So do you want to know some of the bad
stuff the things to never do in a hotel? I
feel like ignorant, and ignorance is bliss, but not at

(53:48):
this time. I need to know everything that's going on, right, Okay,
So here's some examples. Um, and some of these are obvious.
I feel like laying on the bedspread, so it's okay
to lay underneath it, but not well they say they
are cleaned maybe once a year. What wait, now, is

(54:08):
this like the motel motel or is this like? I
think yes? I think like yes. When you see like
those like like yeah, when you when they're like the
sheet version ones, I feel like those are cleaned regularly
because the hotels that I go through there they're like white,
so it's like you can see things if they're like correct,
those are more sheet like. I feel like those are clean.

(54:30):
I think these these may be more of the actual
traditional bedspread that are like the thick rent by the
hour hotel. Now, this one really kind of threw me off.
Drink from the glasses. They say wash them first. I
think that's what anything though, I wouldn't think that. I
wouldn't think that at all I would be like I would.

(54:51):
It's a clean room. A lot of the stuff now
is wrapped in san rap. I do notice that even
the remote control. Yeah, the remote control of that stuff
has already wrapped because of the days. But um, so
they say, if you get there and the glasses are
not wrapped, wash them first. Um. They also say, don't
use the ice bucket. I can see that because it
comes with like a liner and the liner is not there.

(55:15):
Don't use it. Um put that plastic liner and it obviously,
But they never clean the ice buckets never. You know,
I'm losing. Did you use the liner? Okay, Oh my gosh,
this one I do for sure. They say never walk
on the carpet without shoes. I do that all the

(55:36):
time me too. One advis is always wearing at least
flip flops, even in the shower, so they don't clean
the shower. I feel like I feel like now everything
is like beyond sanitized. Has to be. This is some
like before type rules, because now I think everything is well. No,
this is supposed recently on TikTok with some employees from hotels.

(56:00):
Now and then announce your hotel room in the lobby.
There is a reason. The desk clerk writes it down,
you know, in those little like cards or whatever, and
they never say it out loud to you. So never
announced your room like out loud waste. What's interesting is
when I, um, I like really, when you said that,

(56:20):
I looked back in my mental memory and so and
saw that. Literally every time you go to a hotel,
they write it down. They don't say it autoud, is
it because they don't want people that's in the lobby
to hear like what room you're going to be in?
And yeah, and track you down and this is your number,
and they slide you the card. And then you never
want to take your your room key in that card
with you out and about, because if you drop your
room key somewhere, then there you go. It's like written

(56:43):
right there on the card. I'm all types of screwed
because I take it out. And the only reason, the
only reason why is because I forget the room number,
like what what room is this? So I like keep
the card with it with the in the sleeves. So bad.
That's literally asking for someone to come and like steal

(57:03):
your iPad. Please don't do that. But you know, I'm curious,
like if you and and you don't and you can
call anonymous and like you don't have to tell us
where you work, what hotel you're at or whatever. But
do you agree with any of these or if you
were to pull back the curtain a little bit more
like give us the cheesemake, give us a little bit
more of like what goes down and what maybe we

(57:23):
don't know about what goes down. I am here for it.
But you know what's interesting, I do wonder if this
is one of those motel type places, or if this
like one of those big hotel type chains. It's like
two star versus a five star hotels, like one of
those rent by the hours Cynthia and North Hollywood. So
you used to work in hotels? What do you think? Yes,

(57:47):
I think that it's just an illusion, Like a lot
of these things aren't sanitized even after it's just like
they're gloss over things and just make it appeared to
be like clean, which is sad. So yeah, I've worked
in a really nice hotel like these really push sushi

(58:10):
places and uh sorry guys, oh my god, to fuzz count.
So what do you say? We gotta go, We gotta
show up even to these five star hotels with our
Clorox wipes. Yes, I would. I would recommend carrying um
like the Santa hand sanitizer like you did, um and

(58:32):
the sick of the virus and um yeah, bring Clorox
wipe slippers for the for the showers and in the restaurants,
they don't really um like clean the even olipstick off
the lady flashes. Sometimes that's the worst. I have gotten
some glasses sometimes when you know, I'm like, hello, can

(58:54):
you take this back? And I notice that, like when
you bring that to the table, It's like, how do
you not notice? At that point? You don't notice? Okay,
now tell me this andthia like, I just got to
know about the sheets because like for me, like that's
really like are the sheets? Are the sheets cleaned? Well?
I never worked in housekeeping. I did work in room service,
but um, the housekeepers have I do know that they

(59:16):
have so many rooms per person to clean, so I'm
sure that they kind of glossed over some of those
rooms as well, just to be honest, Like they walk
in and they look at a bed and they're like
that's all right, and they just remake it. I can't,
Oh my gosh, okay, well, thanks for insight the sheets,
but they don't like go above and beyond like they should.

(59:41):
You know, all right, it makes me appreciate a lot more.
Thank you so much for calling. You're welcome by guys. Bye.
I don't know how I feel about hotel now. I don't.
I mean you kind of neither. I'm not staying in anyone.
It's like Airbnb or anything like that. Oh really, No,

(01:00:04):
I always feel like that there's like some cameras watching us,
like there's something like they're just gonna pop in on us.
Like when we stayed at one a couple of weeks ago,
all of us. I was like, there is some foolery
that's about to happening in this house. Like, no, I'm
not staying at somebody else's haunted house. Absolutely not on
air with Ryan Seacrest. It's just me and e J.

(01:00:29):
That's gonna do it for us, done for you that
Ryan is out this week, so we'll be hanging with
you all week along. Please come back tomorrow, e J here, Okay,
we'll talk to you then on a on air with
Ryan Seacrest.
