Speaker 1 (00:00):
From Hollywood. See you. Thank you for listening to us.
Ryan Air with Ryan Seacrest, Good morning, Ryan Seacrest with you,
Sissany and Tanya. You know, I haven't asked in a minute,
how is robbiat Tanya? You know, he and I had
all these big plans to spend some quality time together

(00:21):
with Michael as well and go do some stuff, and
just typical us, we've not followed through. He's doing really well.
Thank you for asking. He misses you. Does he talk
about us, like, do you guys talk about the show?
Do you talk about the next adventure we're gonna have together? Yeah?
He does. He does listen, and he does kind of

(00:43):
like to ask. He really enjoyed the backwards hat moment
that we had on the air. Oh yeah, that was fun.
I enjoyed that. Yeah, how's Michael, Sissany. Michael's working on
his band. It's like a whole thing. And you think
he's gonna approach us to try and play a song.
I mean maybe at some point, I don't know. Well, Okay,
let's play this out. So since he gets a job

(01:05):
at Kiss, Michael's always in his mind that he wants
to be a rock star. Now all of a sudden
he's in a band. But no, I don't think he
has had it always in his mind. I think he
has this weird like what is that like when you
don't believe in yourself that you can sing? But other
impostor syndrome? Thank you. I think he's had that because
one of the things that I fell in love with
him for is because he sang to me, like you know,

(01:29):
right away with his guitar, and I at very early age.
He was twenty three when I met him. I was
like always trying to encouragehim to try out for American Idol,
like you should try out? Like what am I being crazy?
And I just want to say, after nationwide vote, it
would he would have one, but I think it would
have gotten really far top ten. But what Okay, let's

(01:50):
play this out. So what if Michael says, hey, guys,
I have a song and you're the music director of
the race, I don't know. I think I need to
go and speak to the higher up and say, like
what I really do think that, guys. I think he's
doing it as like a fun thing. It is fun
side thing. There's like some big festival that's happening, like
in hermost of Feature Manhattan, and they were like trying

(02:12):
to get to perform this year, but now they're looking
maybe next year. The great legend of Nikki York. Same thing.
Guys just doing it on the side were working as well.
I mean, Michael is our next Nikki York. Never know potentially,
but yeah, he walks around the house with the harmonica
neck piece. I can't do you, I can't write you. Guys,

(02:36):
they make these harmonica neck pieces that it rests on
your neck and then you can you know, you don't
have to hold harmonic, but you can actually play the
guitar while not holding it. And that's too much for me.
He's now fish rocks around the house. I have to listen.
I have to watch My Housewives with like him. Just
like strumming the band during Monica. I could love it.

(03:02):
You know, we all need an outlet. We all need
a creative. We have to be a portive. Yeah, we
have jobs that are creative, and let us be creative.
And I think people that don't have jobs that allow
them to have that creative need something like that. But
we also need things. I remember about what all of
my life when I would where what question? Or do

(03:25):
they ask you about your hobbies. I'd be feeling stuff
out for things over my life, love language, no no, no,
like for applications or I don't know what joining a
membership for something, And they'd be like, there's a category
for occupation. Hobbies. I had like none, I had like
a blank box of hobby. I like hiking. Do you

(03:46):
guys know what we can all do together? Because Rob
and I just picked it up? Hold on, why do
you want We don't need a hobby together. We work together.
It'll be so cute because we can like drink wine
and do it. Is it pickle ball? Yes, I'm already
into that guy's Remember he told us about this like
years ago. We told him it was senior st like, no,

(04:07):
it's not, and he's right, it's not. It's very cute.
We'll pick up. All is great because you can play
and not be fast. You know, you can like just
lean over and hit the Yeah, it's fine. But I
used to make up hobbies to Sysne. I'll be like, uh, exactly,
what's a real hobby? Can't I can't say, That's what
I'm saying. Like hiking was always like, oh, you're like

(04:28):
a mad too, Runyon I'm a hiker. Hike, I make pottery.
You cook? Cooking is a hobby? Well, now you do
have hobbies. Well, now I have them, that's the point.
Now I actually have them very much into understand how
to make olive oil and farming and cooking. But up
until five years ago, I had no I just be like,

(04:50):
I just work. Get me to just don't do anything.
I really, I truly do nothing when I'm not working.
So is account I Where can I pass out? Because
it's just blank space? Is that? Oh? Boy? All right,
let's see we have stuff to do today, so let's
not forget. We're just starting. You were saying yesterday that

(05:13):
you took your kids to Disneyland. What is the first
I was asking my sister, at what age can I
take my niece to six Flags and Disneyland? Is there
six Flags? A little extreme? Maybe planning? I'm new to this.
How old were the kids first when they went to Disneyland?

(05:34):
Well we took the twins and they were six months old.
But um, it's fine. You know, you do different rides,
There's a bunch of stuff that you can do. You
know that you don't have to be in any age
to go on Pirates of the Caribbean. You can just
hold your baby. No. I was also terrified at the
height requirement. Well, there's a lot. The kids are actually
tall enough to ride a lot of the rides. We
took the twins on thunder Mountain Railroad. That's an intense ride.

(05:58):
Oh my god. Videotaped the whole intense as a kid,
it really was. What about the first concert? I think
for first concert, maybe like seven is a good age, six,
seven years old, maybe eight, all stuff to be thinking about, guys,
But says one, And we took her yesterday and she
had a blast. You know it's fine. I think you

(06:19):
enjoy it too, right, I mean it's fun for you, Michael,
don't You'll enjoy doing all of that together and it
gets us out of the house. It's like, what else
were you gonna You need an activity? You really, but
my sister says, we can. I just got driving your car.
I'm like, why need an activity on the weekends? That's
all you do? You need you plan? You book your
weekends up because otherwise we're gonna do sit in the house.
You're gonna go crazy. I had to paint. I spent

(06:41):
time with my knees. She's like, we've been painting class classes.
You took a manifestation class to you. I took a
manifestation course and it was so good. I have to
tell you my mind. What is it? So? Astley Tisdale
did this wellness retreat for her new line, being Frenchy,

(07:03):
and it was this wellness retreat. There was like yoga
and a manifestation course, and I was like, I've never
heard of a manifestation course. What is this? It was
the most ty thing I've ever experienced in my life.
It was like an hour and this the girl came.
Her name is Heather and she has this company it's
called to be Magnetic, And basically she was running through
how we manifest and I realized my whole life, I've

(07:24):
been manifesting. I don't know how you guys do it,
but when you manifest, you like envision yourself like winning
the award or getting the job, or getting the guy.
Like when you manifest, is that how you do it?
I just up. Yeah, it kind of just sporadically pops
in and out like I don't see tonight. Yeah, I'm
a manifestation room. Okay, well that's no. You don't need

(07:48):
a room, but you could use a journal. A journal
would be really great, the journal. But it all comes
back to our feelings, okay, and how we did. Did
Robbie your boyfriend go with you to this manifestation? Heather? Course,
you know he did not. He did not come with me,
but he really enjoyed. He was like, because I was
texting him throughout the whole thing, and I was like,
I'm a new Tanya, I can't wait to talk about this,

(08:08):
and he was like, I loved the old one. I
am excited to meet the I just want you to
pump break sometimes like you, I know you're bettering yourself,
but the guys in love with you. I know. You
know this was good for our relationship because I was
talking about One of the things she said was um,
I was talking about wanting to be engaged, and she goes, Okay,
now tell me why you want that. That's so interesting.

(08:32):
I've never thought about the why I want that? You
want that? No, because it's like next steps. It's just
kind of I don't know, it's like naturally where what
you where? You don't want it because you want it? Yeah,
you know, I never like actually thought about it. Yeah,
because you love him well all of those. But no,
But it was interesting because I said I want um.
It was like consistency, love, companionship, partnership, um, safety. Did

(08:59):
you come up with those? I came up with these words.
And she goes, she goes, does your boyfriend give you
all of like? Does he give you companionship? Does he
give you partnership? Does he give you safety? Do you
have commitment? And I was like yes, yes, yes, And
I was like no, no, It's like, what does an
engagement matter? Like I've been putting so much pressure on
this thing when it's like I have all of these

(09:20):
things with the post. So Heather is saying, you don't
need engagement, you have the reason why you want to
be engaged, stressing correct. Interesting, I have been teaching or
preaching or saying this about marriage. No. But but and
then she comes in with her sandals and she put
down she was saying what she was saying. With a

(09:42):
home to like, people say, oh, I want you know,
I want a home with this many bathrooms and I
want this and I want that, but they don't ask why.
So it's like, why do you want those extra bedrooms?
Do you want to have a baby in this home?
Do you want why do you want this? Do you
want to have this in your home? And she's like,
really think about the why behind everything that you want,
and when you really start picturing the why, it'll all

(10:02):
fall into place. So you don't now feel like you
need or want to be engaged because you have everything
an engagement with question, Yeah, I don't feel like I
feel like I was kind of hammering it in for
a minute and now I'm kind of just like chill,
like I'm not did you tell Robbie all of this
because they get this busy relieved. I don't know if
he's relieved, but I think he was, like it's an

(10:23):
interesting way. This the course that you took when you
showed up to dinner and sports bro. Yes, because I
was doing yoga. But and then there's another side of
it where you have these expanders. You Ryan are an
expander for me in the career world because you have
these people and it's kind of like we we always
call them um like relationship goals or people that you

(10:44):
kind of like look up to. But these expanders are
important to have and to really put into perspective of
like why you really like admire these people and what
you admire about them in what way? And so you
have like this list of expanders in different areas of
your life. The expander is a good thing. You want
to be an expander or someone else? Correct, correct, And
these can be people that you don't know, like people
that you know. It's so good, yea. The expander concept

(11:09):
is very interesting. All right. So good news is you
kind of have what you want and here it is you. Yeah,
but she still wants no. No, I'm talking about I
jumped back over to boyfriend that the real reason you
you were brought it up. All right, let's get your
morning hack this morning. Were you good at writing essays assistening?

(11:35):
From what I remember, No, I always wait until the
last minute. I always kind of struggled to get started.
Once I got going, I felt like I was okay,
and I think I would graded average on them. Never
a plus. It was always like a B minus. I'm
a bullet pointer, you know, I'm not. I'm like, I
can do bullet points and I'm out mountline guy. Let's

(11:58):
just get one of the head a headline headline. I'm
not a writer, which is not good at it anyway.
So for those students have no choice. Um, here is
a way that they say will help you write better,
more compelling essays if you do this. It's a technique.
And the technique is type with only one hand. People
who type too quickly use the first word that comes

(12:21):
to mind. Slowing down allows you to choose better words,
a more selective process. It's a pretty simple technique to
try to see if it if it helps. It's not
a it's not the first thing that comes to It's
like someone's out right a thank you card, and then
I'll rewrite a thank you card, or in a relationship,
I'll write a nine page note and put in an

(12:42):
envelope and seal it and give it to you. Just now.
I just make sure you're listening on that one. There's
no chance, um but I will. You start to write something,
you rewrite it, rewrite, and then you end up with
the better thought or better word. So try quote to
day today. Expect a little from people, expect a lot well.

(13:07):
The Biden administration will pause its program to send Americans
free at home COVID nineteen tests this week, blaming Congress
for failing to fund further rounds of shipments. Americans who
have yet to request all sixteen of their free tests
have through the federal portal until this Friday to place

(13:27):
their orders. Health officials are warning beach goers to stay
out of the water at four popular Los Angeles area
beaches due to high bacteria levels. The effective beaches are
Santa Monica, Pierre Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey, Inter
Cabrio Beach in San Pedro, and to Panga Canyon Beach
in Malibu. Beach goers are urged to avoid swimming, surfing,
and playing in the water. And just in time for

(13:49):
I Guess this heatwave, Pumpkin Spice season is officially here.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte and a few other fall favorites
are officially back at Starbucks starting today the Pumpkin Cream
Cold Brew. Maybe that's the one you want to get.
We'll also be returning this year along with the Apple
Crisp Marciato, but with a little bit of a twist.
I Guess the drink is now the Apple Crisp Oat

(14:11):
Milk Maciato. On air with Ryan Seacrets, we are going
to make a second date update call in a few minutes.
Dude meets just grow on Bumble and they went out.
I guess it went again, went perfectly, and then she
is blowing him off. Isn't a why he wants to know?
Why he wants a peace of mind? It can go
either way, So we'll get into that in a few

(14:32):
minutes here. Now, I saw and heard a little bit
about this that people are renting. You could rent a
U haul really any age, I mean driver's license, right,
But you can get a U haul younger than you
can get a rental car, isn't it right? I don't
know about the I mean rental car is usually twenty
five years old, right. I guess you're right because I
remember thinking and renting moving around in college. So anyway,

(14:59):
a lot of people are posting about it. But instead
of renting or taking a room, right there, getting the
back of a truck. And I mean think about it,
like the airports are nightmare right now. Flights are being
delayed and they're really expensive. It's really expensive to fly anywhere.
So when millennials and gen zers want to celebrate their

(15:19):
one year to your anniversaries with their significant other, instead
of doing a vacation or getting each other gifts, they're
renting a twenty dollar U haul and they're putting an
air mattress in the back and they're driving into a
beach or wherever, a campsite and they're just camping out
for the night and they're decumitied, sleeping in the back
and truck back of the truck. I don't know if
they like at one point, at some point the company

(15:40):
might be like, this is not what it's but I
don't hate it. Like they're decorating it with led lights,
putting like flameless candles around because you know those are
the little little tracks around the walls of those U
halls and stuff, those little flickering candles, Yes and so,
and they're having like a full on little date night,

(16:01):
whether it be like a pickup truck for tailgating, watching
like um drive in movies, or renting like the big
ones that you can actually close the cab, like the
truck trucks like you know that are completely closed in.
So I don't know, I don't hate the idea, especially
when you're eighteen twenty years old, you don't have that
much money, and you're like, this is perfect. This is
such a cute way to maybe you could drive up

(16:23):
to like you know, big sir, like up up north
or something for the night to wha. The way, the brand,
the company you haul stands the test of time. But
you haul, why don't you branch off and do some
we haul right? You could actually build out some of
these the backs of these trucks. Was we work, we
haul right? I mean do we work? Thing didn't work out? Okay,

(16:48):
So they're telling me you can rent a trailer at
sixteen a truck at eighteen. Yeah, it's not bad. You know,
sushi in the back of it. Take it all cute?
Look then a ship right now because we're in our thirties.
But like, no, guys, think about it. When you were cute,
I would totally was in my early twenties and I

(17:10):
drove around my Corolla and slept in it when I
was in my twenties, like heavy machinery on wheels and
like I'd rather have a picnic on a grass in
my backyard, pitch a tent under the stars. I don't
need to be rolling around romping around. No, no, no,
like right, I was never the gal that like did

(17:32):
things in the back of a car. Like it's just
it's a note for me. I think it's cute, but
you do things in a tent, for sure, you do
things anywhere else. Yeah, but like you're the newdest of
the group. I don't know if I recognize this. Just
I don't know. There's something about the big metal machinery,
just like hauling my around. Are y'all ready for a

(17:53):
second date? Update? If you are in the aiding world
or in the search world, you're looking for somebody, and
maybe you're trying a few people out, check this out.
And if you're not and you've already found somebody, you're
gonna celebrate. So do you're assistant? We met so Paul

(18:16):
and Encino has written to us and he's telling me
that he met someone on Bumble. Janya met Robbie on hands.
So we have in our own family success in dating apps.
Um so metal Bumble had a great first day. And
you know, as time goes by, like how else are
we supposed to meet people? There are a lot of

(18:37):
different apps now and fine, because it's just tragic to
try and do it on your own. My brother met
his girlfriend on Bumble and we love her. Yeah, I
have no issue. I have no issue, and I'm looking
at this success. But the stigma is still there because
people are very still kind of like, yeah, I want
to get on the apps. Get on the apps. I
thought you meant like once you meet somebody. No, no, no, no,

(19:00):
I think from I think this is more about people
admitting to other people that are on it. But they're
all on it. I think people didn't want it. I
never told you which one I was on today. You're
such a liar, i'd be. I don't know how I
would I would have found you, how I would have

(19:20):
figured it out? All right, Well, I point is fine.
That's how we're going to meet people. It is. This
is the world we're end. So they met on Bubba
had a good day. She suddenly stopped responding to him,
So why, he says. We texted for a few days
after the day, and then she disappears. She vanished. I
see her posting, so I know she's okay, But what happened?

(19:41):
Like what I do? Let's get to Paul here, Paul,
thanks for coming on. We got a little background here.
I guess the question I have for you is you
meet someone that goes well, you see them out and
about posting. I don't know that i'd really want to know,
you know, right? Do you? What's the what is the

(20:02):
upside and knowing if we find her what is her name?
Her name is Lorie? All right, So if we find
Lori and we is what we do here. But if
we find her and we asked her what happened? Do
you really want to know? What's the good in that? Well?
I do want. I guess it would just give me
some peace of mind. You know that the fact that

(20:23):
I don't know is kind of killing me. So you're
creating different narratives in your head about why do you
still want to go out with her? Yeah? I thought
that the date we had was really good. I thought
we had a great time and it felt like we
were into each other. So I'm not really sure what happened. Okay,

(20:47):
So Paul, hold the line. We got her information, they're
telling me. Uh so, let's see if we can find
her here. Okay, hold on what second, Paul try and
track down Lorie and find out why she vanished from
hal and she's posting she's fine and happy and out
other people. Lori is on the line. Paul reaches out

(21:09):
to us and says, hey, guys, I've heard the second
date update thing. I want to know why Lorie, whom
I met on bumble and had a great first date
with has vanished from texting me. I see she's posting,
so I know she's cool, but why did she blow
me off? I don't have thick enough skin for that.
You wouldn't want to know? No, yeah you do. I
don't think so. Maybe not directly, but you'd want to

(21:30):
ask her, your friend, to ask to find out and
then report back. I'm not good with that stuff. No,
because hasn't. It could have nothing to do with you,
but it could. I think I would want to know
that way. I wouldn't want to know directly. The thing is,
I'm not looking posts. If someone's rejected me or blow

(21:52):
me on, do not you. I'm just saying the general public.
I can't handle the George, Oh that self torture, just
like I don't know why I cannot do I don't
know why we do it. It's this is bad. I Paul,
listen back to you. Paul, we've got her on the phone.
I need you to just stay really quiet. Let me
see what we can find out. Okay, you got it?

(22:15):
Are you gonna listening? But be very quiet? Hold on?
Here we go, Hello, Louri, Thank you for holding on it.
Is Ryan Seacrest, Tire and Sissy an Tania and your
voices on Kiss FM right now? I know it's a
lot of the blue. We're calling you about a guy
named Paul that you met on Bumble? Is that familiar?
Oh my gosh, he called you. He called Ryan Seacres

(22:37):
to find me. So yeah, what, um, what did you
like about Paul on Bumble? Why did you decide to
go out with him? You guys went out? Yeah, yeah,
I mean he was a good looking guy and I
mean he seems nice on the app and what about
in person? Was he the same deal? Yeah? Yeah, he

(22:58):
was perfectly nice. Um yeah, very easy to get along with.
I mean I definitely would have gone out with him again.
But what happened? Well, I mean we we stayed in touch,
like after the date. We were texting back and forth.
And then I think it was a Tuesday. I had

(23:20):
a back to back all day. I worked like a
fourteen hour shift because someone called in sick. It was
so crazy. Uh. But then I checked my phone and
I had like eight missed calls from him calls okay, yeah,
and like a lot of texts too, So it like

(23:42):
really freaked me out. And yeah, I mean, it gets worse. So,
like I went on Instagram and he was like dm
ng my friends to make sure I was okay, all right,
over the top, little smothering, but one day of like

(24:02):
yeah it was one day. OK, He's anxious, excited. So
every so, just so I understand this, everything checked out
fine until he became clingy. Yeah, and I was like,
I I don't think I can entertain this guy any longer, Like,
I mean, what would it be like to date somebody
like that? Just for anybody taking notes here? How many

(24:25):
miscalls are acceptable? One? Like yeah, maybe too? Maybe two,
two or three? Know, I mean sometimes I you know,
because sometimes you think it didn't go through the voicemailail
Max to Max? Fine, can we turn off the viewed

(24:46):
calls thing? Can I go off? Just for people taking notes? Also,
I need to go back to a pin because I
think my red receipts are on. And you were right
the whole time. I know, finally I get that final
that's one. All right, So Laurie, we have Paul on
the phone, as you suspected. He he but listen, this

(25:09):
is great because he did want to know why, and
I think, Paul, do you want to respond to Laurie,
did you maybe try and reach out a few too
many times? Yeah? You know, I guess, Uh, I guess
I came out a little strong um for I'm really
sorry about that. So, Paul, what was it you were

(25:30):
trying to track her? Like? Why eight calls? Uh? You know,
I just thought maybe something had happened. I was trying
to make sure she was okay. But I see that
eight calls might be a little excessive. And how many
texts did he send you, Laurie? Oh goshly, I don't

(25:50):
know his teen what? Yeah? What did they say? I'm weird.
I don't need to hear him. Just give me to
where are you? What do they say? I do want
to hear, Like are you are you doing okay? Hey?
I'm getting worried? Do you need anything? So, Paul, you

(26:11):
were you want to? You say you want to seem
like a good guy that was concerned. What were you
worried about? I don't know, you know, it's it's l
a things happened. I feel like, you know, maybe maybe
something had happened, and I was just worried that the
date went well. So I you know, I cared about you.
I just wanted to make sure you're okay. So you

(26:31):
saw her posts after the eight times calling and then
what Yeah, well then that's when I was just checking
in with some of her friends on Instagram. So where's
the Lori Paul city Tanya? Like, where's that line where

(26:51):
it's clingy versus like caring and cute and courteous. I mean,
I think a couple of texts would have been fine,
like hey, I'm a little worried. You're usually more communicative,
but that it was just too many. I think that
if I were date Paul, I would just be really stressed,

(27:15):
overwhelmed bee all those Yeah, all right, So I guess
the question now, Paul Lori is do you want to
see each other again or is this just a sign
that is not meant to be. Well, I did want
to ask you out again, but I don't know, I

(27:36):
don't it seems like it's not happening. So uh, I'm
just gonna say I wish you the best. It's okay,
my god, I appreciate that. Yeah, it just doesn't sound
like we're very compatible, but I hope you find the rank.

(27:58):
You know. Well, thank you guys for being open and
talking with this good luck to both of you, Paul
and Laurie. No thanks, Ryan, Okay, what if he's like
a super good guy that just has a heart. It's
their attachment styles that are different. He's anxiously attached and
she's not, like she's not securely attached. He just needs

(28:18):
to find someone that's securely attached. It's like a Tanya
found someone that loves all her love exactly. There's a
shoe for every foot. All right, let me press the
button on air with Ryan Seacrest, I Heart Radio Music

(28:40):
Festival now just a few weeks away. Very exciting is
that Easton I see in the shadow? Is that Mark
who you see? I see a puppet show? Or I
see arms going back and forth. He's very excited throughout
the show. Blad movement. It's good. M all right, let's
get to today's special game. We don't play many games,

(29:04):
but today we're gonna play one play many games? Should
we play more games? Good games? Constantly playing games in life,
but we're not playing games. We need some good games
games on the show. Don't we have friends that you
go over to their house and that dinnerally plays great
dinner party games like we need games like that like
fun games. The game night, we should play fish bowl?

(29:26):
What's fish bowl? Put a bunch of questions in the
fish bowl and pull them out answer no, no, no, no,
fish ball so cute. We should play it out our
next um our, next gathering. And you're in teams, so
like you're in teams with your significant other. What is it?
So you put everybody puts five words into a bowl,
a big bowl, and the first round you go. You
have like forty five seconds with you and your partner,

(29:47):
and you have you say anything to describe what the
word is. But you can't say the word. And it
could be anything. It could be like Ryan Seacrest. It
could be like Ryan's T shirt. It could be a earring,
it could be anything. Is he pyramid? Isn't the game
per I've never heard of pyramid, but it could be similar.
And in the second round you go with the same words,
and it's charades. You can't say any words. You have

(30:07):
to charade out the words. And in the third round
and the third round you can only use one word
to describe when you pull out of the fish bowl. Okay, password,
we have a couple of pins. Let's pin that. Did
you have another pin? From earlier. You wanted to get
back to the other pin list of pins for the

(30:28):
end of the show, and maybe when we have a
when we have a show with a lot of pins,
we can unpin at that, you know. And Robbie told
me he's like, Ryan was right, And I was like,
but I don't see red receipts when you text me,
I don't know he sees them one I do. Okay,
can we put a pin in it and play the game?
All right? So we're gonna play Name that Beach guys,
and here are Downy Dooranna. How are you, Joranna? Hi Ryan,

(30:51):
good morning, Hi, Hi Kanya, Hi, good morning. So we're
gonna set you up with a four pack of six
flags match Mountain tickets. UM in honor of National Beach Day,
we are going to play Name that Beach. Do you
have a favorite beach in southern California? Oh, my gosh,
I was born in Huntington Beach, but I was raised
in Downey And so we like, we go to all

(31:13):
of the beaches. We do Mother's Beach for the kids.
Oh yes, and yeah, so we we get all around,
we go all around, but we love beaches. You're gonna
do great. Then, since you're from Hunting's so, I'm gonna
ask you questions about southern California beaches. You name that
beat this right before you get three wrong. It's gonna

(31:37):
be easy. Here we go first and you get the
four pack first one. And we don't play many games here,
so this is like a real moment for us. Do
you think we should play more games? Well? I don't know.
I think they're fun. I mean it kind of you know,
you know, we continue, We could test drive a few
games and see if anything sticks over the next couple

(31:57):
of weeks. All right, here we go. Okay, I hope
I don't scare everybody to not participate. Okay, here we go.
I have a I have a whole thing name that beach.
Here we go. You will see a full outdoor Jim
and bodybuilders working out on this beach named that beach.

(32:20):
Um is it Anta Monica? Well, we were looking for
Venice or Muscle Beach. Oh, muscle Beach. Okay, it's okay,
you're gonna get the next one. Okay, here we go.
We first met Lauren Conrad on an MTV show named

(32:40):
after this so cow Beach City. Oh, I'm an old
lady Lauren con Beach. Okay, good, thank god you got
to say her name out loud and then you've got it. Okay,
just process. Listen. We don't play me any games, so

(33:03):
work through the answer. How are you supposed to be
good at playing if we never play? So we get
it right, So we're all in it together, all right.
This beach City hosts the US Open of Surfing at
his nickname surf City US. Okay, okay, okay, I was

(33:25):
born where you born? Okay, Now for the win? Okay
this I know my music? Yeah, hold on, hold, get
to this all right. So this beach city has a

(33:48):
Spanish name that means beautiful in English. Name that beach
got yours a four pack to six flags, and most importantly,
you're a winner of games we never play. Now that's
so fun. Happy to be yours, aile, Thank you. We

(34:12):
will not forget this moment. Hang on one second. Nice
to meet you and thank you for listening every day. Bye?
What fun? Hey Mark, what's the text number? Four one
or two seven? I have a question for you listening?
Why don't you text this? I'm curious? Should we get

(34:33):
some good game ideas? Like good people are listening to
get together their family to play fun games, like good games. Say,
we don't play any games, but we could have some
fun playing some games every once in a while, even
with some stuff, some things, some stuff. Right, So if
you have a good game that you your friends, your
family like around the table in the living room, send

(34:55):
us the game. Don tell me what it is. We'll
read some of the games. Now. Remember we do to
play on the air, so it can't be too provocative,
but it should be fun and and candid, right, yeah,
and it can't be too visual. Yeah, a lot of cants.
I'm hearing a lot of cants here. Well that's why
you can't text us for one or two seven, any
of those good ideas. I'm curious. And should we be

(35:16):
playing a few more games? Why not? Sound um? Okay,
let's see training report, Tanya, what do you have for us? Okay? So,
do you guys remember Heather Morris. She was on Lee.
She was Brittany Unglee, one of the cheerleaders, and she's
also been a professional backup dancer. She knows she was
dancing for Beyonce back in the day. Single ladies. I
do remember her, I remember? Yeah? Yeah, So she was

(35:37):
on this podcast is called Just Saying, and she was
talking about this audition um for being one of Jennifer
Lopez's backup dancers on one of her tours. And she says,
when you're auditioning, you're there at like ten am, you're
dancing till about six pm, and you aren't getting paid
for this. So when when dancers go to audition for
these things, they're going and they're not getting paid for
that day. Um, but just the hopes that they're gonna,

(35:59):
you know, get the gig, which is standard and normal
for in the entertainment industry. Um. But she said, Jlo
walked into the room and said, thank you so much,
you guys worked so hard. By a show of hands,
if there are any Virgos in the room, can you
please raise your hand? So, you know, virgos began to
raise their hands, so she whispered to her assistant and
then they said thank you so much for coming, and

(36:20):
then they left after a full day of auditioning virgos.
So doesn't why Jelo is a Leo and her x
Mark Anthony is a virgo. I don't know if this
has anything to do with it, but they did make
a joke and he said that can't be true, and
she goes, yeah, it's just hearsay. So I don't know
if so. You just told us the whole story, and

(36:41):
the person you told us talked about it said it's
here saying yes. But my theory is that she signed in.
My theory is she signed an NDA that like she
couldn't discuss it or something like that. I don't know.
It felt like because she did say that, but then
the whole story seemed very vivid and real. So I'm like,
there's not going to be some truth to that. You
just walked this down, that entire story to tell us
that the author of that story says it's hearsay. Yes,

(37:06):
says it's not true. Well, hearsay when you hear things
being said, there's some truth to it. No. If there
may not be truth to hearsay, what is the definition
of hearsay? Saysn't you have a quick Google search? I
mean sure? I like, what does hear say? That doesn't
sound like it sounds? It sounds so ridiculous. It does

(37:26):
until I started to think about it, and I was like,
I did this in my dating life. You were a gemini.
I was like, no, no, no, no, no, go home,
Thank you again. That sounds ridiculous. Here's the definition of
hearsay information received from other people that one cannot adequately substant, substantial,
or right. So here's say is, let's not do trending

(37:51):
reports that walk us down a path. Then at the
end say, but the person said it may not. Oh
my god, I love this story so much because I
felt like I could really because you're gonna like, yeah,
I can totally relate to her. I like, if I
can't believe if I can't believe it either if I
were to meet I'm not going to believe it. By
the way, if I were to meet someone and they

(38:14):
have a connection, there's no chance the birth sign would
turn me off, Like I wouldn't use that as a filter.
Birth signs don't even come into the picture until like
weeks months later. But if you, guys, if there is
something like let's say you've had like you just know
your signs just don't align and you're having to back

(38:35):
up if you're having to work with these people every
single day, like if one of you were a Gemini,
it would be very difficult for me. But that's so mean, geople,
But you're so that's open minded. That's so close minded,
and then you laugh evily. Gotta brand for you again.

(39:03):
You never quite know what you're gonna get you. I mean,
I thought you were an expander. I thought you were
the one to telling us that we should all spend Ever, Ever,
forget that moment with Joleanna Ransick on this show when
she tried to set me up with her friend Ivan,
and we called him on the air and we asked
him his zodiac sign and he said he was in Gemini,
and all of us in the room just met. Yeah,

(39:26):
well guess what. Ivan is very happy now? Yeah, I
think he is married, a lovely woman, has three kids.
Probably all right, Hi, Janine, how are you this morning?
How are you guys? We're doing all right? So how
can we help you? Jine? Sure? So, my husband and
I are going on our honeymoon to the far Keys,

(39:48):
and we're gonna stop in Disney Worlds for the last
few days of our trip. And my mother in law
just let it slept that my sister Emma is planning
on surprising us on the Disney Rolls portion of our trip.
Already bought plane and park passes and plane tickets and
park passes, and I don't know what to do because
I it's nice for her to want to join us,

(40:09):
but this is in the family vacation. It's my honeymoon,
and she was right, she's coming alone. Yeah, under what dies? Like,
what's the reason she's gonna say, hey, guys, here I am.
I guess to surprise us? And also she's a huge

(40:30):
Disney fan, So I don't know if it's like, oh,
she's jealous that we're going and we didn't ask her
to come. How do you know she's going to surprise you?
Where'd you get this information? My mother in law told me?
And does your husband know? He does too, and he
doesn't want her there either. Well, then he needs to
talk to his sister. Just tell his sister Like if

(40:51):
my Meredith, we're gonna crash my honeymoon, I would say, yo,
I love you, but I need to bother with first
has been apparently until I die with disclaimer. Well you
know what I'm saying, Like, we sign up for all that, right,

(41:12):
that's what the deal was. So so you need you
time with that person the game. This is an easy
conversation you have directly your husband. New husband needs to do.
What's right here. If this relationship is gonna work and
needs needs to stand up to his sister and say no,
we're on our honeymoon. Otherwise you don't set boundaries. Now

(41:33):
she is gonna be in the backseat of your car
when you guys go all right, I'll think out this.
This is clear, this is there's no debate. Thanks for calling,
Thanks so much. By Why would you? I used to have, well,

(41:54):
I have back in that day there was my one
of my good friends got married and I was still
single and I was not with a girlfriend, and I
would always like travel with them. Yeah, and then at
one point his wife's like, we I'm not married to
both of you, and Ryan I was like, is that
a hint? I stopped. So I understand a little bit

(42:15):
of this, but that to me, honeymoon is sacred. Honeymoon.
Come on. But even if she wanted to join its
brothers sister, you gotta be able to say no. So
Priscilla is on the line of pastia, Priscilla, good morning,
how are you? Good morning? I love a spontaneous call
like this because I'm not quite sure where it's going.
But from what I understand, they tell me you have

(42:38):
a son named Zachi Zack. Yeah, and there's a bill
before the California Assembly that's named after your son. Yeah. Well,
it's actually a bill that's on the governor's death right now.
We got it all the way through. Um. It's called
the Zachie Bill. Um. Well, first off, good morning, good morning,

(42:59):
good good morgagin Um. It's called Zachie Bill. It's a
by and essentially right now, it went through Assembly and
sent it and it's in the Governor's desk and probably
in the next five or six days if sooner, will
probably hopefully be signed. Essentially, what it does is it
provides an online resource for kids with food allergies uh

(43:22):
in case through twelves and adds education code. UM. And
and Zachie, who actually have here right next to me,
has been a huge advocate. He's ten years old and
he's testified in an assembly and sent it to get
this bill going because he has food allergies. Oh, Zachie,
what's up? It's Ryan and sist Tony. How are you Zachi? Hi, Zachie,

(43:45):
what are you allergic to? I'm allergic to nets like
tenuts and peanuts, shellfish beans, piece of kada sest to
me and all of O. So Priscilla explain to us
just layman's terms, what does it mean if this gets signed. Yeah,

(44:06):
So essentially, you know, one of the things, just to
kind of give you a little background, is um. You know,
Zachie grew up with you know, allergies. I was not
as foreign to the kind of the food allergy world.
I didn't have anybody in my family that have food allergies.
And it wasn't until first grade year Zachie encountered anoflectic
reaction at school because his breadstick was changed out for sesame,

(44:29):
and we we as a family, had to really look
at it a little differently on on the level of
like seriousness, because I don't know if you know what
anaflec aniflectus is, but it's essentially it's kind of the
worst form of the body's reaction to two food allergies.
So essentially, you know, whether it be your throat restricting
or vomiting or you know, all the bad things that happened,

(44:49):
um that you need a F and F for an
in order to stop that. So we looked at at
for um our family when that happened. But then I
started looking at it in a bigger scope of like
what resources are aailable through schools and how do you
get to them and all that, And I started making
phone calls from San Diego to San Francisco and there
wasn't a lot of uniformity. So as a result, UM

(45:10):
we realized that this online guide, which this is what
that bill would do, is it would provide a website
on the Department of Education web web page, and you
can find out how to accommodate your child if they
have food allergies, whether they need an individual education plan,
or they need ingredients, or just anybody that wants to
log in and find out like what what is you know?

(45:31):
What is food allergies? What you know? What is the
worst case scenario? How do you treat somebody with food allergies?
And so that's what this bill does, essentially put information
on the education site as it makes it accessible every
year for all the students, and it's going to impact
There's over seven thousand students that are diagnosed with food allergies,
So this is a big, big deal. It's a huge deal,

(45:54):
and it's a big deal for the community. And I
think it's so interesting to hear that you struggled and
you want people do not have to go through that
in terms of understanding how to how to best handle it. Zachie, Gee, Zackie,
do you like this is kind of big? Bro? You
get the but what a big impact and what a
big deal this is. Yeah, it's really exciting because when

(46:19):
I saw Zachie bill literally on the screen up here,
I thought you were calling asked me how to get
your bills paid? And I like, okay, we do that.
You're kind of bills really really important. And that's that's fantastic. Well, Zachie,
it sounds like it's all going to happen. Yeah, you testify, well,

(46:42):
I test the fight in in in the board committee
and and I went there just testify the Senate, and
I kind of just I would usually do a speech
like I did on the on the first two. It's
really important to kids have realities like me. It will

(47:05):
show where your accesses are available, what to do with
your food algy and waste for and file axis. It's amazing.
You're a bright little boy, Zachy. It's so nice to
meet you. Priscilla. Good luck with this, and thank you
for calling. Keep us posted if it, if it happens, Okay, okay, sure,
we're hoping pretty soon. Thank you so much for the thoughts.

(47:25):
Of course, take care. By okay, I mean unless you're
dealing with it or your kids are dealing with it,
I mean you don't think about no, not at all.
You know, we had a second day up day earlier
and when we're talking to Paul and Laurie, they met him.

(47:47):
Bumble didn't work out. But whatever. This is how people meet,
I mean, dating apps. It's just it's not so unique
now that someone would go on and app and meet
somebody and have it work out and not workout. But
it is the way of life in a way. And listen,
we have proof here that it works. Tanya was on

(48:10):
every one of these dating apps everyone, and then she
end up on Hinge and she met one guy and
it worked. And we're believers. Now. We had an invisible
string like tying us together until before we met, but
we never would have met if it wasn't for this
dating app. So we are believed. Verse Saysney, you actually
have the list of what because it was just the

(48:33):
ones I remember at the beginning, Bumble, Tender, Hinge, everything it,
tubs was on. Yeah, that's those are the ones that
are all top of mind so many out there. Mashable
actually broke it down. So if you can't decide which
one to use, um, maybe this will help you a
little bit. So let's just go down a few of these.
If you're looking for a hookup adult friend finder, is

(48:55):
is the name of the app? Let's see? Wait, hold on, isn't.
I don't know if it's like good because you're just
being totally honest, or not good because that's all you want,
you know what I'm saying, Like, no, just I don't know.
If you're on there, then it's like you don't mess
around the games, it's like you're looking for a hookup.
End of story. I thought Tinder was kind of like

(49:16):
that though, but I guess the Tinder is more like
something casual, so the same same kind of thing. What's
what's the difference in something casual? And that's why I
think they kind of, you know, the same same um
a long term relationship. Mashable is saying that match is
a good app for that one. Match has been around forever.
The match. If you're looking for other millennials, hinge, you

(49:41):
misused it. It's more mature than Tinder. And if you
want to find love, they say, hinge is the way
to go. I misused it. A millennial. She's a millennial.
He's not a millennial. You're not looking for You didn't
look for a millennial. He might be. He's not millen.
He's not, but he acts like one. There's no I've
I've checked on that he has like the Ryan syndrome.

(50:02):
Were like he thinks, yeah, we're cusp with impostor with
millennial impost He's happy in his in his non millennial
elite singles. So this is for other career oriented people. Okay,
someone to marry e harmony. I think our boss beyond

(50:23):
to elite singles. What's that mean if your other career
oriented people, people who work a lot don't have a
lot of time to date. So like so you just
it's it's like, okay, look I'm gonna get that. We're
gonna have to cram. Yeah, yeah, I think that's good. Okay,
check it down, um e harmony, someone to marry? Now
this one is interesting because the reason why I know

(50:43):
so much about this is because our boss Potta did
this one to find her husband, and it's it is
like a whole questionnaire when I think you have to
might have to pay for it, and it's like a
very in depth personality like driven questionnaire about your life.
Then they really do like try it out. It's data driven.

(51:03):
It really is to match you with somebody that based
on like what you write down, if you look at
you happily married ten plus years or something like that. Um,
someone out of your comfort zone, look for coffee meats, bagel.
I wasn't into that one. You didn't like it? Why?
Just like I like? No, not an answer the words.

(51:26):
I just didn't feel as though. Um, I think I
like my comfort zone sometimes. All right, if you're looking
for other gay men, grinder, other gay women, someone over
fifty silver singles, someone quickly bumble. You have twenty four

(51:47):
hours to chat once you match. The woman must initiate.
I didn't realize you have twenty four hours. And then
when it goes away if you're if you don't talk,
if nobody reaches out, then your match disappears forever. Or
couldn't you match again? I'm sure you can match again?
So what's the idea? Just to keep it moving, like,
just to stay engaged, because a lot of people will
matchin and then they don't say hi, So it's like hello,

(52:08):
Oh my god. I know it's so annoying. I missed
the whole dating app thing Michae when I met in
two thousand nine, so this was like we never. I
was never on the apps. If it's not you missed out,
I mean you found Michael. I found Michael and I
love him so much. But like if I hadn't, But
if I had not, that's why. Like when Tanya was
on the as, I was like on hers, like, I'm
freaking chatted with Robbie before she didn't literally STI mean

(52:30):
Sierra for dated him before I met him. They were
response On Air with Ryan Seacrest, thanks for being here tomorrow.
We have found a TikToker on a quest for the
best bean and cheese burrito in California, and I am
here for all these foodies to come on our show

(52:51):
and tell us about it. It's tomorrow, Kifter, have a
good one. Thanks for listening so on Air with Ryan Seacrest.
