Speaker 8 (02:59):
Welcome the show man, Thank you, thanks for having me, buddy.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Thanks for taking the time. Congrats on the new series.
Rescue High Surf is the name of it, the uh
the the trailers look cool, look very cool. It must
be the most fun show to shoot. Tell me about it.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
Yeah, I mean, for starters, we're shooting in Hawaii, so
you're never going to complain about that. And a lot
of water work, a lot of jet Ski rescues, a
lot of doing our own stunts.

Speaker 8 (03:27):
It was fun.

Speaker 7 (03:27):
It was It was tougher than I expected, for sure,
but what comes with that is it's a nice reward
when you watch it realizing that you, you guys did
most of the hard stuff.

Speaker 8 (03:37):
So yeah, it's cool. Man.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Were you a surfer prior pretty savvy in water?

Speaker 7 (03:43):
I'm like, I'm like a fake Aussie. So I grew
up on a farm and so even though I've got
blonde hair and blue eyes, like, I wasn't a surfer
growing up, Like you know, we always got the beach
and you sort of comfortable confidence swimming, But I wasn't
a surfer.

Speaker 8 (03:57):
And so yeah, getting out there was the first time
I've ever written to jet Ski.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
So I had a lot of wow, a lot of yeah, dude,
I had a lot of catching up to do. But
by the time seven months you know, of filming, I'm
pretty confident and comfortably out there now pretty comfortable.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Oh that's very cool. We can watch Rescue High Surf
Mondays on Fox. Going to take a break and we
have more with Adam Demos.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Mario Lopez here hanging out with actor Adam Demos from
the new Fox show Rescue High Surf. Now, there's gonna
be inevitable comparisons to Baywatch, of course, how is it different?

Speaker 8 (04:30):
Well, you know, it's it's on the set on the
North Shore.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
It's about like the high octane like North Shore Pipeline,
your rescues, and it's really showing what these lifeguards, you know,
put their life on the line.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
And so it's more of that sort of stuff.

Speaker 7 (04:43):
I mean, look at their moments where we're run around
the beach with red shorts and no shirt on. Yes,
and so I get the comparisons, and but I think,
you know, people who tune in assuming it's going to
be that will be pleasantly surprised that it's going to
give them a lot more than what they what they
went in originally thinking all.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Right, we'll Rescue High Surf airs Mondays on Fox. Hold on,
mag I gotta play more music. Mario Lopez he you're
talking about the new show Rescue High Surf with actor
Adam Demos, and tell me about your character Will. What's
he what's he like?

Speaker 8 (05:16):
He's an Aussie, he said, I didn't have to work
on that accent.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Too hard to keep your accent all right, or you're
you've got to not your accent. You got to keep
you talk the way you talk my.

Speaker 7 (05:24):
Voice, yeah, yeah, I to give my voice yeah yeah,
no I he So he came up. He's a the
lifeguard in Australia, want to test himself with the best
in the north shows that place and then he fell
in love with it, fell in love with the character.
M and uh sort of there is he stays there
and that's home.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Now, not to veer off subject, but in Balley there
was a lot of Australians there.

Speaker 8 (05:48):
It's an Indo.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
It's it's pretty popular for a lot of Ozzi's there, right.

Speaker 8 (05:53):
Oh yeah, dude.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
It's talking a two hour flight from Perth. So it's like, oh,
you know, now, when you're you know, and if you
live in London, you'll go to Barcelona for the weekends,
going to deal. So like if you're in Ows you
can go there and it's also yeah, cheap flights, good surf.
You've got a bunch of my mates. Yeah, I've gone. Yeah,
I've gone a bunch of times. Like a lot of
mates get married over there, and it's beautiful and the

(06:15):
people are great over there. So yeah, like tank top tens,
drinking bin tangs and all this stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Nice nice, all right, hold on and I'm going to
play some more music. Amaro Lilpez my guest today's actor
Adam Demos from the new Fox Shaw Rescue High Surf
and also in the works the wrestling biopic Queen of
the Ring. What can you tell us about that?

Speaker 7 (06:39):
I'm really pumped about that too, So I play I
don't know if you know much about the wrestling history,
but back back in the day, the stories about Mildred
Burke a incredible woman and becomes a female wrestler, and
I played gorgeous George, and so he was sort of yeah, yeah,
So I didn't know much about it. So I got
this was like a really last minute job for me,

(07:00):
and which is probably a good thing, because I didn't
realize the history and sort of the impact he had
on wrestling. Yeah, And so it was sort of just
do my best and jump in and commit, and it
was one of the funnest experiences I've had.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
It comes out soon. I'm excited to see it.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Good for you, man. I got one more thing I
want to ask. We've got to take a break. I'm
gonna come back and wrap it up with that. I'm
in just a moment.

Speaker 9 (07:23):
You're the full interview now at on with Mario don
More Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Mario Lopez here wrapping things up with actor Adam Demo saying,
is it true you used to work for your dad's
demolition business before he got an.

Speaker 8 (07:34):
Acting demos demolition? Yeah, mate, Yeah, that sounds great.

Speaker 9 (07:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (07:40):
I didn't start acting till I was maybe twenty three,
twenty four. I tried to get into I was always
work construction and then just decided to give it a
go one day. But yeah, that was dad's company.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
It worked out. Hey, that's a nice little fallback plan
right there.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
Yeah, that's it's a hard I don't know if I'm
tough enough for that job anymore. My hands have gotten
soelf since then. It was a good way to learn
good work ethic too, that's for sure.

Speaker 8 (08:04):
I think it was.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
It was a great training ground for just being professional
and working as off.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I bet yeah, no, that's a real job right there. Well,
congrats on the show and listen. You can watch Rescue
High Surf Mondays on Fox. Adam, thanks for hanging out.

Speaker 8 (08:18):
Thanks man, I appreciate your time.

Speaker 3 (08:20):

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Time of the Must See Movies, Amaro Corney Lopez.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Let's take a look at what it's new in theaters
and streaming this weekend.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Ooh, the Wild Robot it's in theaters. When Roz the
robot opens her eyes for the first time, she finds
herself alone on a remote wild island where she must
be friendly islands animals to feel like home. Okay, I'm
going to take the kids to see this. Megalopolis. Shia
Labophalis is an archittra Just kidding, Shia labaf is an
architecture dreams of building the city of the future.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Now.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
This is directed by Francis Ford Coppola, who probably did
what's revered as one of the greatest movies of all
the time in The Godfather, of course in Apocalypse now
and he won two Academy Awards. Oddly enough, he's saying
he's having trouble with people picking this up and getting
it distributed. So that's the thing about the entertainment industry.

(09:55):
You're never safe. You're never safe. You never ever know
notice to quit.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
It's in theaters. Struggling New Yorker is evicted at the
same time that his estrange ten year old daughter shows
up unannounced on his doorstep.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Well, that is a lot on your plate.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
That's a good thing. She showed up right as he
was being evicted, or not after.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Well, that's true, she's still homeless. Wolves on Apple TV,
Brad Pitt and George Clooney are two fixers who wind
up getting assigned to the same.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Job Apple TV. Two not in the theaters, Yes, okay.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
An Apartment seven A on Paramount Plus. Julia Garner is
a ballerina who is willing to make a deal with
evil to achieve her.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
We love Julia Garner. Yeah, from Ozark.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
I think that's right.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
She does resemble young justin Timberlake.

Speaker 9 (10:40):
Yes, more Mario Lopez coming up jo Mario Courtney Lopez,
Ryan Murphy Fire and back the Menendez Brothers.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
With Mario Lopez Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
But so this is definitely on our docket to watch.
We've got one more episodisode of Into the Fire on Netflix,
which I'm really looking forward to finishing, and then we
are starting The Menendez Brothers. And evidently Lyle and Rick
Menendez aren't too thrilled with Ryan Murphy's new season of Monsters.

(11:12):
They say their portrayal is quote naive and inaccurate. I
love that they use naive. They're going to tell the
story in their own words for a new Netflix doc
that comes out on October seventh, So.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Much like Netflix is just winning all over.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Much like Scott Peterson told the story in his own
words over on Peacock on the Heels of Lacy Peterson
doc on Netflix. Ryan Murphy, though, isn't back and down.
He says, when it comes to the incestuous scenes, he
wanted to show all the different theories that are out there,
and he wants the audience to decide who the real
monsters are, the brothers or the parents. So it's interesting

(11:48):
and it's out a competition.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
You're all monsters.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Mario Lopez will be right back.

Speaker 8 (11:53):
What ap?

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Mario Courtney Lopez here? We got big news for all.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
The bridgeton Head Season four started filming.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
This week's going to focus on Benedict, who doesn't want
to settle down until he meets the Lady in Silver
at his mother's masquerade bomb Musquaade.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Oh Benedict.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
A little bit of bad news though Netflix isn't expected
to air the new episodes until twenty twenty six.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Oh my gosh, what are we supposed to do?

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Mario Courtney Lopez here.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
Marah Carrey continues to approve why she's the Queen of Diva.
She just took her kids to the Great Wall of
China and she walked it in fighting shields.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
That's hilarious.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
I actually saw this on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
I was dying.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
I can't even be in heels for an hour in Vegas.
I'm dying. Well, Mimi treated it like it was just
another red carpet. You can check out the pictures at
olmithmrio dot com.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
So you're all Mario Courtney Lopez stop for another fake
debate where the topics are made up on the spot,
but the passion is real. Who's pro and who's content?

Speaker 5 (12:55):
What would you like to be?

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Well?

Speaker 2 (12:56):
I was calm last time.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
I'll be pro and usually I'm a positive individual, so
I do all right, You'll be pro and I'm negative.

Speaker 6 (13:02):
Courtney will be hawy. Fifteen seconds make your case, ten
second rebuttal. Your topic today is senior discounts. I am
pro senior discounts.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
You are?

Speaker 2 (13:12):
I go for progos first?

Speaker 8 (13:13):
Correct?

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Senior discounts are something that provides incentive for individuals that
get older. Getting old is tough enough. If you can
hook them up with a discount, it kind of softens
the blow and it makes you feel good. And you
know what you made it? That Foreign life you deserve
a break.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
No, hitting that age and being awarded a senior discount
means your life is over. It is not something to
brag about. I when I hit that age, I will
pay full price.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Well, that age is right around the corner. So kidding, No, no,
I'm kidding. I respectfully disagree. I think not only should
we get discounts when it comes to food, but I
think all across the board, you're contributing to society, all
the equity built up and pay taxes all those years,
they should cut you a break.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Missus Lopez.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
I will run on that platform for my future political aspirations.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Like I said, I think it is a very senior
moment and people aren't thinking correctly and it's not cool.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
When I do run for political office later, We're going
to need some training for my It's a media training,
media training.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
For my wife. Please.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
Luckily the first spouse doesn't have to do a debate.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Mario Lopez. Here my wife Courtney Beatle Juice.

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Beetle Juice celebrating three weeks at the top of the box.
Off is it added another twenty six million dollars bringing
its total to two hundred and twenty five million domestically
and three hundred and thirty million globally. Look at that.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Wow, Well, Transformers one may twenty five million, but it
cost seventy five million to make too.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
That's a pretty good indication. Then, assuming by the time
they get through digital and all that, so we'll see
they're gonna have to.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
Sell off Optimus Prime for parts.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
All right, let's get back to music.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
Mariyo Courtney Lopez, you're definitely interested in checking out the
season fifty.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Premiere of S and L tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
My girl Jeane Smart is going to be hosting.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Yes we Love Her and Hacks one of our favorite shows,
and the musical guest is Jelly Role.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Oh, this should be a good one.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
You are, Mario Lopez.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
Before we take off of the weekend, we're gonna give
you the final word with our comment of the week.
What you got, honey?

Speaker 4 (15:28):
This is from Matt Taylor Garrett and he said, when
I'm president, I will add an additional hour between six
and seven. Why would you do that? That means we
have one more hour to be productive with our kids.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Well, we'd get an extra hour to watch TV or
next hour sleep everyone look at it, or your employer
can add an next hour work wah wah. I don't
know about that.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
I'm not working for you.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
That would age us a lot too. I don't know
about that, Taylor.

Speaker 9 (15:54):
I want to be at the tweet of the week.
The tweet us on with Mario, and hang on, Mario Lopez.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 8 (16:01):

but we were back on Monday with Mary Bonnet from
selling Sunset.
