we've reached a milestone. A Costa Lopez. Our daughter Jia
is heading to high school this fall. This fall, she
still got to finish her eighth grade, but yeah, in September.
She is going to an all girls Catholic school, which
I like. Grade school. She is ready and prepared.

And I don't know about that.

Well, she seems pretty ready. She seems pretty ready in
gung hole about it. She's not reluctant at all. When
I went to high school, it was tenth, eleven, twelfth.
I was seventh, eighth, ninth, and then you had ten, eleven, twelve,
which kind of makes I think a little more sense
because you get to be a senior sort of twice,
and it's broken up into three years. I like that better.

It was never like that where I lived. It was
always middle school was six, seven, eight, and then high
school was nine through twelve.

He was born long before us. It makes way more sense.

But that's what's so amazing is I can play myself
and then anything that people don't like that I say
in it, I'm like, well that was just that was

Was it the first time you all worked together?

It was the first time we've worked together.

great time. I mean from right off the bat our
first rehearsal on set, I was like, this is going
to be an amazing day. He's so funny, he's so

for Stanley. That's that's what I that's what I auditioned for.

called Kevin, and thankfully we got together during the audition
process and they decided to take a look at me
for Kevin. But here's an amazing thing, Mario, I don't

Malone Eric stone Street from Modern Family and Jorge Garcia

from Lost and many other things. So it ended up
working out for all of us. I think, Wow, that
to me is really cool.

of stories. Like I was just talking Eric McCormick the
other day and it was I think down to him
and I think he said, Matt LeBlanc on Friends, but
then obviously worked out for him few years later with

first rehearsal on set, I was like, this is going
to be an amazing day. He's so funny, he's so
willing to go anywhere. We improped great together and I

Man, I mean it's first off, I can't remember. I
can't believe that it's been that long. Also, I auditioned
for Stanley. That's that's what I that's what I auditioned for.

I knew there was another role they were looking at
called Kevin, and thankfully we got together during the audition
process and they decided to take a look at me
for Kevin. But here's an amazing thing, Mario, I don't
know if you've heard this. The other two people in
the end that were up for the role of Kevin
Malone Eric stone Street from Modern Family and Jorge Garcia

from Lost and many other things. So it ended up
working out for all of us. I think, Wow, that
to me is really cool.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
That is very cool. That's why I like those kind
of stories. Like I was just talking Eric McCormick the
other day and it was I think down to him
and I think he said, Matt LeBlanc on Friends, but
then obviously worked out for him few years later with
Will and Grace. So I was like, look at that.
Sometimes you know, it just meant to be right there.
