You're back to hang with you for the next few hours.
Hope you're ready a laugh because my boy Gabriel Fluffy
Glacia I was gonna be zooming in later with a
soup on his new Netflix special.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Plus I's gonna share another helpful life hack, catch up
on some buzz, and just moments away from taking a
trip thirty three years into the past for our throwback soundtrack.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
So turn it up.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
You're on with Mario and Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
Happy Throwback Thursday.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
You're on Mario Courtney Lopez celebrating like we always do
with our throwback soundtrack. Today we are taking it back
thirty three years to nineteen ninety two. That's when my
boy Mark Wahlberg had a song in the top ten.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Ron had enough of being broke every day, saying to himself,
was gonna be a better way because nine.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
In the five wasn't worth the headaches.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Son figured it out a fast.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
A way to make money before Yeah, wild Side. That
was a sample, of course, of Lou Reed's Walk on
the wild Side. I still like good vibration is out
with my jam that that holds up best.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
That's music world.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yes, we mc hammer dropped his song expressing his desire
to challenge Michael Jackson to a dance off for MJ's
famous glove.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yeah, I was doing the hand gestures from the song.
Let me tell you something. If anybody can hang with
Michael is mc hammer. Mc hammer could dance. He was
mad good back in the day.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
However, m J was unphased because he had the number
one song in the country and this is my song
before and after I get a spray.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Tand slash again joined him on the for that song.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yes, and in the music video more Mario Lopez coming up.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Mario Lopez here with some quick buzz for you. We
haven't even gotten a Frozen three yet, but Frozen four
is already in the works. The director and songwriters who
worked on the original are all coming back. Frozen two
is the biggest animated release of all time, earning one
point four or five billion dollars. Wow, I would have
lost a bet. That's that's impressive. That's crazy. What a

(02:27):
Mario Lopez here and it sounds like Shawn Mendez is
just like us when it comes to social media. He
admits that he scrolls through the comments on his ig
to see if any celebs of weight in. I'm gonna
leave him a mean comments if he responds.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Y'all, mark Courtney Lopez and see what's on your mind.
I get to your tweets. What you got?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
This is from at it's Mike Oh, and they said,
broj just texting me. I'm about to get my Mario
Lopez on not even sure what that means.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
It's Mike.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
The fact that you don't even know what it means.
I don't even know what that mean. Thank you could
mean a lot of things. It means maybe he's about
to like start grubbing, bust the workouts.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Who knows. Listen to the radio show.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
You're not napping? No, no, you don't like that one.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Maybe he's about to put on his Mario Lopez shoes.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yes, that's right true.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Maybe it's that. Let's go with that.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
It's Michael.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Get us up on Twitter, get on with Mario and
hang on more Mario Lopez on the way.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Brow Courtney Lopez here, let's put a spotlight on my
wiftime for Courtney's random thought. What you got, honey?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Do you ever get skeptical of another car, like when
you're driving around at two am? Like, I know why
I'm out here, but what are you doing? Why are
you driving around?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
First of all, if you're in LA, it's never just
one car you'd be at two am and it's straight.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Out traffic on the freeway. Talk at it.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, exactly. So I am always like, what are.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
All these people doing?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Or in the middle of the afternoon, like it's it's
one pm. Seriously, you're not all at lunch. Don't y'all work?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
It's crazy.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I actually always wonder how many people are around me
are having affairs?

Speaker 6 (04:04):
Really?

Speaker 4 (04:04):
They going at one pm?

Speaker 7 (04:09):
What ut?

Speaker 6 (04:10):
Mario?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
John Mario Lopez, and guys, we need to talk about hygiene.
I just read this stat and I actually posted about it,
and I just couldn't believe it. One out of five
men were the same underwear for a week. No how
and this we're talking men, not little kids. How do

(04:58):
you take a shower and put on this of underwear.
I do not understand what's going on. I have a
couple of friends. I hate to say that. I think, no,
they fall in this category. They shall remain nameless, but
it is. I'm just speechless. I don't understand they're going
to try to justify it somehow with an eco friendly

(05:19):
or no.

Speaker 8 (05:19):
No, no, that's just straight nasty. I feel like I'm the
opposite because I just traveled. I was going for five days.
I took enough underwear for like ten days. I think
case I not only take a lot of underwear.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Well, here's my deal. I always got to pack enough
just for the carry on. But I will wash it there. Yeah,
you just wash my clothes if if I know, I'm
gonna stay there for a while. But never will I
entertain the same underwear. I won't even wear the same
T shirt. The only thing to wear the same of
is like jeans. That's fine, that's acceptable for some reason.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
That works.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
But underwear, I'm sorry, you can't do that.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Tell Mario what you think on Twitter at On with
Mario More Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
On the Way Mario Lopez, no doubt television shows dominate
the entertainment landscape, especially in the streaming era. New survey
just drop breaking down the most like shows of the
last year. All right, let's break this down, Fraser, what
do we got?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
They give us a top seven for some reason. Number
seven House of the Dragon.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Of course, from Game of Thrones. That's on Max.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
All right.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Dune Prophecy is at six.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Dune Prophecy okay, not to be confused with Dune the movie,
but I was not aware of the TV show.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I hear it's just as boring as the movie. The
Penguin At five.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
I tell you a lot of people love that.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
My sister, even who is not a comic book person,
and says it's really good. I think I might have
to give that a shot. That too, is on Max.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
Fallout, which I believe is on Amazon Prime.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Fallout has Walton Goggins and I really like that.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Actors love Dude. Number three Landman.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Love this show that is on Paramount Plus. And I
watch a lot of paramunt Plus because I pretty much
watch all of Taylor Sheridan shows.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
I really got to start his stuff. I haven't watched
any of his shows yet.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Oh they're great.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Landman's great.

Speaker 8 (06:59):
Number two The Bear Okay over on Hulu and number
one again on Hulu and FX Showgun.

Speaker 1 (07:06):

Speaker 5 (07:43):
I'm Mario Courtney Lopez.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
You're about the fire up, zoom and chat with the
hilarious Gabriel Fluffy Lessias. New Netflix special, The Legend of
Fluffy is out now and I just saw him the
other week on Monday Night Ross, So we've got to
talk with wrestling back with Fluffy after a few songs.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (07:58):
You're all Mario Lopez, don't you know? On Zoo my
man gave brol Fluffy less?

Speaker 5 (08:02):
Yeah, what's up?

Speaker 7 (08:03):
Brother chips laying it up?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Oh that's the best. I like the breakfast sandwiches. Those
are good, right there.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
I don't wake up early enough to do breakfast, dude,
you know what I really you know, I get there.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
It's like it's already crossed.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Over if I get up, if I sleep intil like noon,
no matter what I want those does. I gotta have
a breakfast. I gotta go to like a like a
place that serves breakfast twenty four hours. It's my favorite meal.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
I did Dell Taco today.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Okay, that's all right.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
We're gonna look.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
Breakfast tackle thing going on. Yeah, it's like a one
minute drive, so it's not too bad.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Okay Yo. How much fun was ww raw on Netflix?

Speaker 5 (08:37):
At the end to it, Dome Man.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
That was that was like a mini mania?

Speaker 4 (08:41):
It was I thought I was.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
I was like right, all the legends were.

Speaker 6 (08:45):
If you would have called it WrestleMania forty point one
or forty point two whatever, it would have passed it
would have totally made sense, like the amount of main
events that it was.

Speaker 7 (08:55):
Just back to back to back to back to back.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
You open up the thing with the Rock, yeah you know,
I'm sorry, you open it up a trip h and
the freaking Pyro and yeah, I mean that was pretty epic.
And then the Rock comes out. We were sitting behind
the Rock's mom, so it was really cool.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Oh she's sweet.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
I love her.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
She's sweet, but she does give her own color commentary. A.
She kept looking at us because she knew we were
into it, right. She turning around, she was like, I'm
not feeling this, which when her when Roman reigns in
the Rock were in the ring. Yeah, I think she
felt like something was going to go down and she
was not feeling that she would. She didn't like the
tension that were being put. The tension between the family.
You know, all related, bro, Yeah you're not. They're all

(09:35):
they're all connected, they're all related.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
You don't want to mess with that Polynesian family right there. Hey,
I've talked to the mom. She said she has never
missed her son in the ring. Never, And you don't
how much that dude travels and all that. And I
was like, really, that's crazy. That's that's that that's some
that's some support right there. And I love that she's
still there and she's still supporting. I think it's awesome.
You were actually sitting exactly on the other side because

(09:57):
you were next to like Ashton Kutcher and all that.
We were on the other side of the ring.

Speaker 7 (10:01):
Yeah, they were pointing you out. They're like, he's over there.
I'm like, I don't see him.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
And then I or your boys saw your boy saw
your boys.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Uh yeah, okay, yeah, he saw your dimple dog Like, hey,
only one guy has all dimples.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
All right, hay Ty Fluffy quick break, We're gonna have
more with comic Gabriel less Yes.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
More fun on the way on with Mario Lopez.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Mario Lopez got comic Gabriel Fluffy less yas on Zoom
and A. I talked about you glowingly of course, on
my show the other day about the new comedy special
that just dropped.

Speaker 7 (10:31):
I love it.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
I did.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
I said, Hey, this fool is multi generational. You could
be five to ninety five and ethnically across all the boards.
I think that's a testament to his talent. I said
that I said, I'm so happy for him and proud
that he's continuing to kill it after all these years.
But in this particular Netflix special for those who may
not be familiar, the Legend of Fluffy is the title,

(10:52):
what are you talking about this?

Speaker 6 (10:53):
Then you know what it's as a career of almost
thirty years, you know, bro, And I'm just like, what's
been going on lately?

Speaker 7 (11:00):
Good or bad? And there's there's quite a bit of bad.

Speaker 6 (11:03):
And it's one of those things where you know, sometimes
in life you got to get them lemons and you
got to make lemonade.

Speaker 7 (11:08):
And so this is.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
A big special about limonadas, a lot of things that
happened that I found a way to spinning and trying
to find the positive in it and if nothing else,
it's at least, you know, a good story.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
Nice all right?

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Well, the Legend of Fluffy streaming now on Netflix. We're
gonna have more with you every less Yes coming up,
comic Gabriel Fluffy less ya. I was hanging out on
Zoom this hour, Mario Lopez here, and I know you
got a lot of tour dates on the calendar for
twenty twenty five. I feel like you never take a
break bro, but you, I know you love being on
the road. Does it become taxing physically?

Speaker 7 (11:43):
It does? It does.

Speaker 6 (11:44):
And I actually took a break the month of December,
which was crazy because in order for me to take
this break successfully, I had to leave the state and
so I went to Texas for almost a month. And
I'm like, wow, okay, I slept so much. I was
going to be roughly around five am on average, just
because I was still stuck on California time. But then

(12:05):
I was sleeping in until like one two o'clock in
the afternoon, and I have I have power shutters on
the on the windows, so it basically like for hurricanes
and stuff like that, yeah button and it just basically
like you're ready for the purge and so herge are
hurricanes whichever one wants to get you. And it blacks
out the house. And so because it's so dark, I

(12:25):
was able to sleep in and just rest. It was
it was a trip to not be performing. I mean,
don't get me wrong, I snuck in a couple of
comedy club shows, but that's nothing as far as like.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
Yeah, the tour and the week to week.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
No, it's good to disconnect with It was nice Yeah, it.

Speaker 6 (12:39):
Was nice, and I think the only reason I came
back is because of the launch of the special, and
of course I wanted to be at day one at
WWE and then back on the road.

Speaker 7 (12:47):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
All right, well all I'm more at ont cover those
twour dates and hanging time. We're gonna have more with
Gabe coming up after catching up with comic Gabril Flip
for leasess hour Mariolpez here and is it true about
a year ago you mentioned and you actually considered retiring
from comedy.

Speaker 7 (13:02):
I considered retiring.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
It was more so of a conversation, you know, just
like ah, after Dodger Stadium, because it's like, man, this
is like such an awesome storybook ending, because it's like
it's twenty five years almost to the day, like to time.
It like that, like really like twenty five years is
if you have a regular nine to five, twenty five
years is already the retirement time. Time I get the

(13:25):
gold watch, yeah, and you know, off to the sunset,
I'm gonna start fishing. But I thought that, like, how
am I going to top Dodger Stadium. I'm like, I
don't you know, I feel like I've peaked out as
far as specials go, like what do you do after that?
What's the new goal? And so it's hard to get motivated.
But I still love doing this and I still feel
young enough and still relevant, even though I don't want

(13:46):
to hang out late night in Miami and have dinner
at eleven.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
Right, No, exactly, No, you still got that, but I
did talk about it.

Speaker 7 (13:54):
I just think that i'd get bored.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah, no, that makes sense, and you would, and you would.
You got too much energy, bro haying time for me,
because there's one more thing I want to ask quick break,
coming back to wrap it up with Gable less Yes,
you're the full interview now at on with Mario, dougcom
More Mario Lopez on the way rapping up with comic
Gabriel Fluffy Lessias, Mario Lopez here and before you go, man,
I don't think I've ever asked you, but I'm just curious.

(14:16):
Who's the mount Rushmore for you? Comic wise?

Speaker 7 (14:20):
Ooh of comics? Yeah, of comics.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
Well, I can tell you that for me, Eddie Murphy
was who I was watching as a kid who got
me into comedy. Robin Williams is who really got me
excited about performing.

Speaker 7 (14:34):
I loved his energy.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
I loved how everything felt spontaneous. I loved his characters.
I love the voices and the silliness and the heart
that he put into it. So it would be Eddie Murphy,
Robin Williams, Paul Rodriguez. Also because he was the first
brown person I saw doing it and I became a
quick fan of his and everything that he said was
so relatable. And even when he had his sitcom AKA Pablo,

(14:55):
I'm like, wow, he's he's got.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
A TV show.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
I was in that bol you know what in that?

Speaker 7 (15:01):
Are you serious?

Speaker 5 (15:02):
I was doing I was his nephew, Tomas in h.

Speaker 7 (15:05):
Ak so many years.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Yeah, Hey, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna send your pick.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I'm parid.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
I'm gonna send your pick because somebody said we were
right there. Yeah, I was ten years old.

Speaker 7 (15:15):
Is is that when you were still able to rock
the single it?

Speaker 2 (15:17):
I was, well, no, I was rocking a scene it
because I was wrestling young. But I was like, if
you tell me your fourth person, I'm gonna find this
picture and send.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
It to you.

Speaker 7 (15:26):
What a trip? So okay.

Speaker 6 (15:28):
So to answer your question, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Paul
Ruddris list, and I guess if I had to pick
a fourth one, wow, Like I'm trying to think of
who really, because then you know, everybody's got their their people,
And I mean, I'm telling you more so comics that
were influential to me. But if I had to just

(15:50):
go like a fan of like somebody that you know, like,
if I had to go just based on today, my
Mount Rushmore, my Mount Rushmore comics for today would probably
be like a Chris Rock Bill Burd definitely Bill Burd.
I do like Chappelle. I think Chappelle is awesome. And man,

(16:11):
that next one is a little challenging on like.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
You have to put yourself on there.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
I put you in there.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
I think that's kind of weird.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
No, I get you, I get you.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Sorry, Fine, Carrot Top, We'll do Carrot.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
We'll Hey, that's a great name. But listen. Importantly, be
sure to check out my guys new stand up special,
The Legend of Fluffy, which is streaming right now on Netflix.
Always great to see you about the Thanks for checking.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
In, Mario Courtney Lopez. Here was some quick buzz for you.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
The Netflix show Beef is coming back for season two. Yeah,
we love the first season. They've got a whole new cast.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
This time.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
It's gonna star oscar Isaac and Carrie mull Again. I
like both of them.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
That's cool.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
I do like both of them. But we really like
the first cast. But we also love White Lotus and
that's a different cast every year. Apparently the setting will
be an elite country club. A boss gets into an
alarming fight with his wife. Ali Wong is staying on.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
As executive producer.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
The first season one eight Emmys, including Outstanding Limited Series.
I think Ali Wong should just do like a cameo
or something.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
She was great in that. Oh, I like that. This
is going to be a White Lotus type show with
a similar premise but with different casts. Oh that's Oh,
that's gonna be good. Jamar Corney Lopez to learn New
Life Ack.

Speaker 5 (17:26):
What is a topic today at Cordey's Corner.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Movie theater popcorn? So I learned this on TikTok Okay
Love TikTok You take a small spray bottle with you
the next time you're at the movies. You fill it
with the butter flavoring that they have there.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
Then you even go home, then you use it to.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Spray the butter on your popcorn. Every handful will have
a full flavor, especially when you get down to the
bottom of the back, because you know how when you
pour it in there, ken just goes in like a stream,
and then it doesn't get on a lot of the popcorn.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Your hands must be filthy masks afterwards. I don't like
better on the popcorn. Isn't that crazy? No, I just
it's too Just because of that, I don't like the guy.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
I love the spray bottle.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Maybe you'll like.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
It, maybe I mean a little bit. Maybe you know
what I do.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
Love spray each car.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
You haven't seen me do it.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
I don't think we've done it, but I used to
do it all the time as a kid going to
the movies. You get the popcorn, and you get the
nacho cheese from the nachos and put the nacho cheese
on the popcorn. It melts it all down. You got
to put a little bit, not too much because it
gets crazy, and then with a spoon you eat it.
It is amazing.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
This is the first time ever hearing that you did
something like this.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
Yeah, back in the day, just you know, growing up,
it was great.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
The problem is now they don't let you have access
to the nacho cheese.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
You got it.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
No, you don't have access, but you as you as
you say, what's up with them?

Speaker 8 (18:44):
There's no like you can't go pull a lever like
over by the back in the day you could.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
Yeah, no, I know you can't.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
I used to do it because you used to do
