be honest? Absolutely, It's been an amazing journey. You've been difficult,
but I feel amazing. Wow. What made you want to
get into your fitness journey? Man? It go with the

spiritual mind, body soul connection. And then I come from
a place of doing a lot of drugs and not
being self accountable and not holding myself accountable for things
and pass traumatic experiences that I went through. I was
really operating out of fear not to just go down that.
But the first time I ever spoke about this was

in on with the Mike Tyson interview. I was talking
about like I'm a great father, I'm not a big stepper.
Like the violence that I exhibited was because I was
molested when I was young. So that's what made me
just operate out of fear. I had that fear being vulnerable.
You know. I took out all these different styles of
martial lords, you know, weapon reality, these things, but I

was operating out of a place of feel because even
though I'm I'm tough, you still got that feel being vulnerable.
And it's just it's something that a lot of men
don't speak on. But I had read this book by
I think his name, mister Jason Wilson. Yeah, hell yeah, yeah,
that's my homie I loved and I was and he
was like me and I'm supposed to be. Nurtural was
also we great protect as great fathers, but nurtural was

also and it was like, yeah, it's like society wants
you to just be tough and don't never you know,
but I was like I cried too three times a
day sometime working out, doing yoga and things that because
you have to release or you an implode. And then
I'm real conscious of like my words, like what I
say to people, I make sure even if I'm hurting

your feelings, I make sure I say it out of
a place I love, because I just I've been hurt,
so now I operated out of place. I don't like
to see people hurt, you know, because there's always a
bad story. That's like when I watched the movie A Joker,
I was like this, said, yeah, because you see how
somebody ends up. We project, we project pain on the people,

we project our own pain on the other people. I
was gonna ask, what's that book got you to open up?
What did you see? You want me to be honest,
absolutely honest. I don't think you know any other way
to be. I mean, I don't want to trigger. I

was seventeen, I believe I had shot myself in the head.
I tried to commit suicide, had the bullet in my head.
And then twenty twenty, I believe I was gonna push

big fact. I got off Instagram. I did all of that.
I got disconnected my Instagram, got off social media, and
I was by myself and just through the course of events, like,

but absolutely I was gonna kill myself. I wasn't happy,
and I don't do all that. Hey, I'm about to
throw a big parade about it. I'm gonna just do
it in silence because all that talking, this horse plan,
if you're gonna do it, hey, let's get it done.
It's all about to boat myself to the flow. What
got you out of it? What made you stop? Once

I got off Instagram, I was making a lot of
comparisons because I put in so much work to be
an amazing orders but you never celebrated properly, you know,
especially when you're a man and I'm not no alpha
mea advocate or No, I ain't with all that dumbas ship.
I believe it takes balance, you know, like I ain't
with that woman gonna do what I This ain't no

toxic masculinity feminine. You're talking about the hold of divine,
feminine and sacred masculinity. That's God's how you know about

that I always make sure I try to destroy my

like protecting myself and protecting the things around me, operating
out of field. So back to that store. So just
during the course of events me getting off Instagram, stopped
making comparisons because comparisons is to kill all joy. People

making it look good. And it's like, you compare your
real life and all the problems you got to somebody
that's highlight real. And that ship caused depression. So I
got out social media for like a year and al
and I just started living. And I saw that, man,
the streets loved me. Everywhere I go people love me.

People love me for real, like New York or Hard City.
To be your orders and get love in everywhere I go. Here,
these people loved me in the streets. These people loved
me everywhere I go. Though. Everywhere I go, everybody loved me.
And I had to realize, hold on, man, I got
to reaffirm some things with myself. I had to get
out my own way. Man, I want you. I'm gonna

is the enemy. I carry it with me, trust me,
I know, but I love how I love to talk
about it though, And the reason you know it might
be triggering the something or for someone helps. So like

from shooting myself too, and it's because I didn't think
I was worthy. That's right, feel as good as what
we could do for somebody. But what help was when
I spoke about it, and so many other people were
in that same position, and they got me and walk
up to me every day and cry every day. If

don't nobody to talk about this. I'm talking about bad
to build a super big and I could tell that
you're doing this out of frustration or whatever you're doing
that out of. So I changed the way that I
even approached the gym. Now when I go, I go
to make myself feel good. I go to put positive
energy in my badd I did yoga before I came
up here. I gotta open myself up and feel positive,

get the blood flowing, and put positive energy into my battle.
Before I move because anybody, I'm just big on that.
I don't even entertain miss no negativity because there's still consumption. Absolutely,
So what's the process now? Before you write? When you
do your music, I go jogging for like twenty minutes
because I'm addicted to that. It's like once they endorphands release,

it's like I'm high. Like I like to feel good,
Like I like to feel good. I want to feeling.
I craved that feeling and feeling good, Like, how do
I feel like? If I don't feel good, I'm not
doing it. Like just before I came in here, I say,
hold on, I gotta go take a shot. That's gonna
make me feel better. That's real. I only eat one
meal a day, so after, you know, I drink my

hot tea in the morning or high water with lambs.
Everything come out. Now, I'm ready. I'm ready for work.
You know. I wanted to ask you, man, because you
know a lot of I go to therapy once a week.
I'm doing it for like six years. But therapy is
not everybody's form of healing. So what else do you
do to like what you do on your healing journey?
I had to get by myself okay. And one one
of the biggest things I do. I keep self inventory.

I write down the things that I'm feeling, whatever it is,
and I go back and answer them questions. I talk
to myself. I used to think I was weird for
doing it. Than I read that all genius has talk
to themselves. I'm in tune with myself. I can be alone.
Is it difficult? It is? A lot of people can't
be alone with themselves. They got to watch TV or
play music to keep themselves distracted. Because there's a lot

of things that we suppress. That's like when they got
this yoga post called a pigeon post. I never knew
nothing about no emotional detox and what you know, walk
around talking about man the emotional detox. We got taught
that I was doing a pigeon pole just to open
my hips up more like, Okay, this gonna give you
more strength in a gym, but I'm looking at it
for the strength aspect. And it was so healing because

I started crying right there uncontrollably. She put her hands
on my back. She say, a lot of what you're
feeling right now is not your own psychic debris. You're
having an emotional detox right now. She just breathing to
the poles. Breathe and she said a lot of the
anger and frustration and emotions are hall but in the
gut and then the hips. I never knew this, so

I emotionally detox before I came up here because I
don't want to project. Even with my son, he told
me some one day, and I may, what is you alone?
I'm I'm handling him bad. This miss checked, this unchecked aggression.
Like if I'm not in tune with myself, if I'm
not happy, I can't make my children happy. I can't
be the man I'm supposed to be for my family.

If I got I got in a turmoil going on.
That's really what got you in new yoga. I got
into it in prison, and on my last bid it
was a blessing. I had got into it. But the
first when I was presented with the opportunity to do yoga,
I'm like, man, I'm not about to do that. Puss says, shit,
you going in been over. I ain't got time to

be doing that. You know, I was just you know,
you judge it because you don't understand it. Correct. My
first class maybe two minutes into it, I had to
run to the bathroom and just shit everything out my batter.
He say, you're releasing everything that's not that's no longer
serving yo, how yourself? So I just stought experimenting with
yoga and jail, and I noticed, I'm like, this curt

my appetite. This makes me don't want to eat. You
focusing on your breath, You're focusing on yourself. This person
may be able to stretch way better than you, but
guess what, everybody is on their own individual journey. So
it kind of teach you to not compel. And it
also teach you too. Even those situations may get rough tense,
you just breathe through it and work through it. And

the reward being in the journey. I ain't trying to
get to no destination. I'm I'm loving the journey right now.
It's a good time to meditate too. And then if
you ever have like back pains and things like that, though,
it's like very intense stretching, so it really helps, like
your whole body just feel I'm kind of nice with yoga. Yeah,
I saw your in feature. I'm kind of nice. I

did that here in New York and I never saw
myself doing no shit like that gangster for that. You
know what I'm saying, I never saw myself doing It's like,
I'm amazed that just watching my journey. But that's why
these conversations are so powerful coming from you, because I
saw you on Big Facts podcast and I was like, man,
Kevin is talking that talk. He talking that talk that
brothers need to hear to heal yourself. And you also

have a shamman. I saw you say that too, that
you yeah, my tattoo orders. Yeah, he liked my showman.
I call him my showman because he's a spiritual advisor.
He's a guy. He's shamanistic in nature because he's not
gonna putting it on me that the energy not aligning

Then other times we just we pray this. So we
burned sage and he do my tattoos. Everything I've ever
been through all my life, it's tattooed on me. It's
a journey. It's a lot of people that done me dirty.
I got their faces on me. But guess what, I
still love you because you was a great lesson anything

a great teacher to me. So it's about changing the perspective.

Go back to that, revisit the situation that hurt you.
What did you learn from it and attach a positive
emotion to it? And I noticed it sound it's sound
easier than done. But you got to go back and

But once you go back and you relive it, you

first started, it was a lot of resistance because it's
alien of people. I'm exhibited an alien behavior. It's unknown,
it's foreign and I didn't know what I was doing.
But I had to follow my heart because I never
wanted to sit there watch TV and say, you know what,
what if I never would have tried, that would be

my biggest regret. And I had everything taken from me
In two thousand and sixteen, I was innocent over a lot,
nominated for a Grammars, all of that. But it was
beautiful because this time I'm even helping more people. But
I harbored a lot of resentment towards that. I'm like, man,
why I keep getting looked over? I do nothing but
great ship? But then when somebody else emulate what I do,

the world slapped them on the ass and applaud like why.
I don't know I had have noticed me because it
wasn't my time yet. I wasn't ready to receive these blessings,
these blessings, wasn't then that they was just delayed. So
now I'm receiving my blessings. Do you think that comes
from not having a sense of worthiness for yourself? So
if you don't have a sense of worthiness or love
for yourself, it's hard to recognize it from other. Big bro,

I'm gonna be honest with you. I crushed so many
relationships out of ego, and I closed so many doors
just operating out of my ego. So where it was
people that saw something greater than me and reached for me.
And I got in my own way. I could say
that like I'm gonna be honest, like people be like,

I just started reaching out. But in the beginning it
was pride and fear or rejection. What if you say
no and that's all you can do and say no, hey,

And then you got to also realize everybody and I

of you exposed them for who they really is. They

But the first time I ever spoke about this was

about like I'm a great father, I'm not a big stepper.
Like the violence that I exhibited was because I was
molested when I was young. So that's what made me
just operate out of fear. I had that fear being vulnerable.
You know. I took out all these different styles of

was operating out of a place of feel because even
though I'm I'm tough, you still got that feel being vulnerable.
And it's just it's something that a lot of men
don't speak on. But I had read this book by
I think his name, mister Jason Wilson. Yeah, hell yeah, yeah,
that's my homie I loved and I was and he
was like me and I'm supposed to be. Nurtural was
also we great protect as great fathers, but nurtural was

also and it was like, yeah, it's like society wants
you to just be tough and don't never you know,
but I was like I cried too three times a
day sometime working out, doing yoga and things that because
you have to release or you an implode. And then
I'm real conscious of like my words, like what I
say to people, I make sure even if I'm hurting

your feelings, I make sure I say it out of
a place I love, because I just I've been hurt,
so now I operated out of place. I don't like
to see people hurt, you know, because there's always a
bad story. That's like when I watched the movie A Joker,
I was like this, said, yeah, because you see how
somebody ends up. We project, we project pain on the people,

we project our own pain on the other people. I
was gonna ask, what's that book got you to open up?
What did you see? You want me to be honest,

I was by myself and just through the course of events, like,

it in silence because all that talking, this horse plan,

It's all about to boat myself to the flow. What
got you out of it? What made you stop? Once

I got off Instagram, I was making a lot of
comparisons because I put in so much work to be
an amazing orders but you never celebrated properly, you know,
especially when you're a man and I'm not no alpha
mea advocate or No, I ain't with all that dumbas ship.
I believe it takes balance, you know, like I ain't
with that woman gonna do what I This ain't no

toxic masculinity feminine. You're talking about the hold of divine,

To be your orders and get love in everywhere I go. Here,
these people loved me in the streets. These people loved

to reaffirm some things with myself. I had to get

you're doing this out of frustration or whatever you're doing
that out of. So I changed the way that I
even approached the gym. Now when I go, I go
to make myself feel good. I go to put positive

up here. I gotta open myself up and feel positive,

get the blood flowing, and put positive energy into my battle.
Before I move because anybody, I'm just big on that.
I don't even entertain miss no negativity because there's still consumption. Absolutely,
So what's the process now? Before you write? When you
do your music, I go jogging for like twenty minutes
because I'm addicted to that. It's like once they endorphands release,

it's like I'm high. Like I like to feel good,
Like I like to feel good. I want to feeling.
I craved that feeling and feeling good, Like, how do
I feel like? If I don't feel good, I'm not
doing it. Like just before I came in here, I say,
hold on, I gotta go take a shot. That's gonna
make me feel better. That's real. I only eat one
meal a day, so after, you know, I drink my

hot tea in the morning or high water with lambs.
Everything come out. Now, I'm ready. I'm ready for work.
You know. I wanted to ask you, man, because you
know a lot of I go to therapy once a week.
I'm doing it for like six years. But therapy is
not everybody's form of healing. So what else do you
do to like what you do on your healing journey?
I had to get by myself okay. And one one
of the biggest things I do. I keep self inventory.

I write down the things that I'm feeling, whatever it is,
and I go back and answer them questions. I talk
to myself. I used to think I was weird for
doing it. Than I read that all genius has talk
to themselves. I'm in tune with myself. I can be alone.
Is it difficult? It is? A lot of people can't
be alone with themselves. They got to watch TV or
play music to keep themselves distracted. Because there's a lot
(07:52):
of things that we suppress. That's like when they got
this yoga post called a pigeon post. I never knew
nothing about no emotional detox and what you know, walk
around talking about man the emotional detox. We got taught
that I was doing a pigeon pole just to open
my hips up more like, Okay, this gonna give you
more strength in a gym, but I'm looking at it
for the strength aspect. And it was so healing because
(08:13):
I started crying right there uncontrollably. She put her hands
on my back. She say, a lot of what you're
feeling right now is not your own psychic debris. You're
having an emotional detox right now. She just breathing to
the poles. Breathe and she said a lot of the
anger and frustration and emotions are hall but in the
gut and then the hips. I never knew this, so
(08:36):
I emotionally detox before I came up here because I
don't want to project. Even with my son, he told
me some one day, and I may, what is you alone?
I'm I'm handling him bad. This miss checked, this unchecked aggression.
Like if I'm not in tune with myself, if I'm
not happy, I can't make my children happy. I can't
be the man I'm supposed to be for my family.

If I got I got in a turmoil going on.
That's really what got you in new yoga. I got
into it in prison, and on my last bid it
was a blessing. I had got into it. But the
first when I was presented with the opportunity to do yoga,
I'm like, man, I'm not about to do that. Puss says, shit,
you going in been over. I ain't got time to

be doing that. You know, I was just you know,
you judge it because you don't understand it. Correct. My
first class maybe two minutes into it, I had to
run to the bathroom and just shit everything out my batter.
He say, you're releasing everything that's not that's no longer
serving yo, how yourself? So I just stought experimenting with
yoga and jail, and I noticed, I'm like, this curt

my appetite. This makes me don't want to eat. You
focusing on your breath, You're focusing on yourself. This person
may be able to stretch way better than you, but
guess what, everybody is on their own individual journey. So
it kind of teach you to not compel. And it
also teach you too. Even those situations may get rough tense,
you just breathe through it and work through it. And

the reward being in the journey. I ain't trying to
get to no destination. I'm I'm loving the journey right now.
It's a good time to meditate too. And then if
you ever have like back pains and things like that, though,
it's like very intense stretching, so it really helps, like
your whole body just feel I'm kind of nice with yoga. Yeah,
I saw your in feature. I'm kind of nice. I

did that here in New York and I never saw
myself doing no shit like that gangster for that. You
know what I'm saying, I never saw myself doing It's like,
I'm amazed that just watching my journey. But that's why
these conversations are so powerful coming from you, because I
saw you on Big Facts podcast and I was like, man,
Kevin is talking that talk. He talking that talk that
brothers need to hear to heal yourself. And you also

have a shamman. I saw you say that too, that
you yeah, my tattoo orders. Yeah, he liked my showman.
I call him my showman because he's a spiritual advisor.
He's a guy. He's shamanistic in nature because he's not
gonna putting it on me that the energy not aligning

Then other times we just we pray this. So we
burned sage and he do my tattoos. Everything I've ever
been through all my life, it's tattooed on me. It's
a journey. It's a lot of people that done me dirty.
I got their faces on me. But guess what, I
still love you because you was a great lesson anything
that happened in my life, good or bad, has been
a great teacher to me. So it's about changing the perspective.

Go back to that, revisit the situation that hurt you.
What did you learn from it and attach a positive
emotion to it? And I noticed it sound it's sound
easier than done. But you got to go back and

But once you go back and you relive it, you
realize that this was only gladiator school to train me

first started, it was a lot of resistance because it's
alien of people. I'm exhibited an alien behavior. It's unknown,
it's foreign and I didn't know what I was doing.
But I had to follow my heart because I never
wanted to sit there watch TV and say, you know what,
what if I never would have tried, that would be

my biggest regret. And I had everything taken from me
In two thousand and sixteen, I was innocent over a lot,
nominated for a Grammars, all of that. But it was
beautiful because this time I'm even helping more people. But
I harbored a lot of resentment towards that. I'm like, man,
why I keep getting looked over? I do nothing but

I've seen people getting electrocq to get caught, the lines,
the polls and everything that happen. I's like, now, I'm good.
