Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, So you know in the Billy and Lisa Morning Show,
we love celebrating school teachers educators. Okay, we love school teachers.
We love nurses, but school teachers. There was an Educator
of the Year, it was nationally that was named in Boston.
Right now, I said.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Her name is a Tenisha Milton.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
She is one of Boston Boston Public Schools Educators of
the Year. She was on Jennifer Hudson on her show,
and she got the surprise of a lifetime.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
During the pandemic, our school community suffered tremendously. We lost
a lot of students to violence. We lost a principal,
we lost a.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
Nurse, we lost a lot and it was always this
negative I would say, energy, or this negative story about
our children. So teaching in the same community that I'm from,
this's my responsibility. I had to shift the narrative.
Speaker 6 (00:55):
I had to shift the narrative. Shifting the narrative.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Men building it brick by brick by myself if.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
I had to.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Yes, So winning this award wasn't just for me. It
was bigger than me. It was for my whole entire
school community.
Speaker 7 (01:11):
Yes, not only had you inspired us out, but there's
someone here who would love to meet you.
Speaker 6 (01:17):
No, is that alright?
Speaker 1 (01:19):
My god?
Speaker 7 (01:19):
All right, please welcoup the one and only Moselle Abata.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Okay, that gave Mells, that gave me.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
She's an eighth grade teacher at Tennisia Milton. She teaches
history and ap African American studies at Tech Boston.
Speaker 8 (01:35):
Wow, it was pretty cool. Then Michelle came out and
you know, was praising her.
Speaker 6 (01:39):
It was really hard felt you changed their lives.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
You've changed the course of what they do.
Speaker 9 (01:43):
And that's just something we all have to remember when
we interact with kids like we can. We can build
them up, but we can tear them down just with
one with the wrong word.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Yes, and you're lifting them up every day.
Speaker 6 (01:57):
That's small power. That's some big small power one.
Speaker 9 (02:00):
And it was just an honor for me to say,
you're on this house with you. I wanted to stay
just to be able to look you in the eye
and say thank you.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
So, you know, years later write kids from her class
and from that school in Boston, when they're asked, was
there a teacher that made a difference in your life,
It's going to be Tannisia.
Speaker 8 (02:18):
Yeah, she's an amazing amazing woman teacher and totally there's
one small thing. Oh yeah, Billy doesn't believe that it
was a surprise because and I see what he's saying,
they would have had to have the whole place locked down.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Security that would have to be in place.
Speaker 10 (02:40):
She was already on the show for somebody else, right,
so she was there.
Speaker 11 (02:44):
So she knew she was there.
Speaker 12 (02:46):
I know she knew.
Speaker 10 (02:46):
Well, they don't necessary like she was in a green room,
so you might not know what's going on outside of there.
But Michelle was there separately, yeah, already, so they already
had the clean.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Either way, it was a cool moment, but I think
it was.
Speaker 6 (02:58):
It was a surprise to Tanisha.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
So shout out to Tech Boston Academy.
Speaker 11 (03:02):
Yep, that's a really cool man. That's the teachers.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Listen.
Speaker 8 (03:06):
I did not give teachers enough credit until I had
children and they have to put up with all the kids.
Speaker 10 (03:12):
It's right and good to school, right, Well, I went
to like Captain, I went to like hal if you
attended school, you'd find some really good teachers.
Speaker 11 (03:20):
But you're right there.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
I feel like what they were saying about her, like
like a teacher believing in a student. The power in
that because then they feel like I'm good too, I'm
special too, and I can do something great.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
I was literally just talking about it with my friend yesterday.
Speaker 10 (03:34):
We went to middle school high school together and we
were naming teachers from fifteen years ago, like, oh my god,
I loved him.
Speaker 6 (03:40):
Oh I loved her, like we were literally talking about yesterday.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah. You never forget, Yeah, never.
Speaker 8 (03:44):
I mean I went to Northern Essex Community College. That's
where I started, and you know, there was a professor,
Amy Callahan was her name, and she was the one
that kind of believed in me.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Before I believed in myself.
Speaker 8 (03:54):
I didn't think I had any kind of you know nothing,
you know, and she was the one that kind of
pushed me.
Speaker 11 (03:59):
So teachers us so important.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah, happy holiday break to teachers everywhere.
Speaker 8 (04:03):
Yeah they absolutely all right. Next, we have coming up
We're Weird Stories, and I don't know about this one.
It's a new skincare routine that's popping all over the
internet and I guess people are really into it.
Speaker 11 (04:15):
I guess it works. It's apposed to make your skin glow.
Speaker 8 (04:18):
Find out what it is in our Weird Story segment
that's next on Kiss One aweight.
Speaker 6 (04:22):
It's with a Billy and Lisa's weird stories.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Okay, so is this a skincare hack or a hack
as skincare. It's called tallow and it's rendered basically beef fat,
bovine fat, and it's hailed on TikTok as the holy
grail moisturizer, the cure all for any condition plaguing you.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
But dermatologists are a little skeptical.
Speaker 13 (04:44):
Let's make beef tallow for zero dollars. So the first
thing you're going to do is render your fat. This
is from a brisket and a chuck roast. And then
you're going to strain your fat with a cheesecloth and
a strainer. The next day you'll pull it out of
the fridge.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
You'll see all the impurities at the top.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Okay, that sounds okay, it sounds like a lot of work.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
And are you going to smell like beef?
Speaker 9 (05:10):
Right?
Speaker 2 (05:10):
That's that's what I would hate the most.
Speaker 11 (05:13):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 14 (05:14):
Yes, I would put beef fat on my face, And
yes I have because I love a good skincare trend
and I'm easily influenced. I bought a little one from
a small business and I don't know. I think it
works really well. It's just it is obviously super greasy,
so it's preferred for nighttime. But my skin is glowing
(05:35):
the next day.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
That's amazing.
Speaker 8 (05:38):
Yeah, Bill, doesn't Michelle your wife come with a tray
of potions and lotions every night?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Okay, But you trying to invade my bedroom? Okay, yes
she does.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
One of them doesn't agree with you because you get red.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Yeah, I've been getting read lately. Tallow, I'm gonna try it.
You want to all try it?
Speaker 6 (05:56):
No, you can try it. Let me know how it goes.
Speaker 11 (05:57):
No, but I mean the fat's good.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
You want a little fat in your meat?
Speaker 15 (06:01):
You know.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
The best part of the story to me, the use
of the use of the word bovine is the best
part of the story for me. It makes beef sound
so much more fancy. Doesn't.
Speaker 6 (06:12):
I have no idea what bovine.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
I'll get the bovine this evening.
Speaker 11 (06:14):
I've never heard that either.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah. Cow oh, Okay, I'm gonna try it though. Okay.
An eighteen year old in Alabama stole a car follow me.
This happened this past Sunday, and when the cops caught
up with him, he tried to make a run for it,
as most car thieves do. The Jim used to make
a run for your wife, Jenny.
Speaker 11 (06:32):
We don't need my wife to this story.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Okay.
Speaker 15 (06:35):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
He was caught and detained by a guy who was
dressed in a Santa suit and happened to be a
retired deputy. Check it out. That was kind of hard.
I mean the guy he was young.
Speaker 16 (06:44):
I'm old, I'm sixty one, but dan Stey caked in.
I just did what I did, you know, I tasted him,
I grabbed him. We took him to the ground, and
thankful my cousin was right there to help, and we
put his hands behind his back and also got on
top of him and handcuffed him.
Speaker 11 (07:00):
You always get caught, you usually do.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
There's always a chase in a crash.
Speaker 8 (07:05):
And if you don't get caught one time, you'll get
caught the next time.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah, most likely.
Speaker 6 (07:11):
I'm going to do my best with this story.
Speaker 10 (07:13):
So in Iowa they have banned words to seventh great
social studies like the teacher did. And there's I guess
there are words used dur in this generation. They are
scibbitty toilet, skibbitty, skibbitty toilet, Ohio. Yeah, Sigma bark and
more so, I don't understand. They're just basically banning their
(07:34):
their Yeah.
Speaker 8 (07:35):
So Generation Alpha is the generation of kids that are
were born after twenty ten, and they have their own
slang like most generations do. And they say they go
to class and they say these words, and this teachers
had enough and she's banned them. Skibbitty toilet. My son
has a shirt that says skibbity toilet. It's a stupid
internet song. It's just an Internet like meme song that's
(07:57):
just become super popular.
Speaker 11 (08:02):
Me, it makes no sense.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
Wow, None of the stuff I to my son Riley
is on the cusp because he was born in twenty
ten and he says this stuff to me. And I'm
the same way as you, justin what are you talking about?
Speaker 6 (08:15):
Ohio?
Speaker 11 (08:16):
So Ohio is slang for weird or cringey?
Speaker 9 (08:19):
What?
Speaker 8 (08:19):
Yeah, because they say that in Ohio the people are
weird and weird things happen.
Speaker 6 (08:24):
I mean, it's Middle America. So yeah, I don't Bark
is like a dog. I don't know you you have
a two kids.
Speaker 11 (08:30):
There bark before.
Speaker 8 (08:31):
I'm not sure Sigma is supposedly someone who's independent, self
reliance like that.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
That's a good thing.
Speaker 11 (08:38):
That's a good thing.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
I know a little more to talk to Riley.
Speaker 11 (08:42):
Why didn't stick with the language we had creating it?
Speaker 8 (08:45):
Well, remember that we had that whole like Fishizzle era
because of Snoop Dogg.
Speaker 11 (08:51):
Yeah, that's where my name came, my Instagram name came from.
They used to call him justin.
Speaker 8 (08:56):
They used to call me just a bust when I
was a kid, and then when that became popular, it
became just a beazy, which is why it's my stupid
Instagram Billy.
Speaker 6 (09:03):
What was this thing when you were growing up?
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Bovine?
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, which by the way, can include buffalo other other
types of you know, cattle.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Oh, there are buffalo feather on your face? And what
beats out right? For the holidays?
Speaker 8 (09:15):
Okay, real quick, before we got to go so in
Florida on January first, bad news for the men of
Florida or women. Porn Hub is set to be banned
in Florida on January first.
Speaker 10 (09:28):
Okay, Florida has the craziest.
Speaker 6 (09:31):
People and they're concerned about porn hub.
Speaker 11 (09:34):
Yep, yep, it's going to be banned.
Speaker 8 (09:36):
And if you fail to comply with the band, you
could be fined up to fifty thousand dollars. This is
because of some age verification law. Wow will not hear
this in Florida. And that's what the most popular porn
site I know.
Speaker 11 (09:52):
But the good news is there's a bunch more right, Bill, porn.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Hub and ex Hamster.
Speaker 11 (10:00):
That's what's going on at Billy's house.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Hey, a winner was crowned on the Mass Singer last night.
We've got that. Also, Billy Eilish is talking sex and
we have groundbreaking iHeart news. It's all coming up next
to ten by it.
Speaker 16 (10:15):
What up is Jalen Brown from the Boston Celtics and
we're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
We kiss went away Billy and Lisa when we bought them.
Speaker 6 (10:22):
Now the entertainment update with a Billy Copstad.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Well, it's actually a big story this morning. It's our
buddy Jaylen Brown right there. So burglars tried to hit
his house. They thought it was his house. Turned out
it was his mother's house in Wellesley and someone.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Was home too. They broke a window.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Yeah, and they took off once they realized there were people. Oh,
I don't want to confront Jalen Brown.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Well, he was.
Speaker 10 (10:43):
They knew he was the games literally looking for away
games crazy.
Speaker 8 (10:48):
A lot of copycats now it's becoming a big problem.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Yeah. Anyway, luckily they didn't get in, nobody was hurt,
nothing was taken, but it's still a scary thing. If
you live in the house, you're wondering if they're coming back,
you know what I mean. Anyway, last night was the
jingle Ball TV special on ABC that'll start streaming today
on Hulu. I'm sure it's already up right justin m I.
Speaker 11 (11:07):
Have to double check that, but today it is coming out.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Yes, And Jimmy Fallon was on the jingle Ball Special.
Last night he did his Christmas song with the Megan
Trainer and last night on his show he did his
annual end of year wrap up song.
Speaker 12 (11:21):

Speaker 12 (11:40):
It did premiere, but yellow Stone has disappeared.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Also on TV last night the mass singer finale, Boys
to Men won it as a group of buffalo not
even Voice to Men doing.
Speaker 10 (12:09):
Yeah, they did a lot of interesting covers during the show,
annoying me if you wouldn't know that they didn't know.
Speaker 6 (12:15):
Who it was. Like the judges like they guess, like
the most they do it on purpose. I feel like
they know they do it on purpose.
Speaker 8 (12:20):
I couldn't have guessed that was boys to me. You
love boys, I know, but I couldn't have guessed it.
Some of the covers did sound more like them. Yeah,
that one was That was a tough one.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yeah, they beat the Wasp and the Wasp was played
by Mario you remember him that Maybe the Walls.
Speaker 6 (12:42):
Was a really good season. They were all really good
singer so good.
Speaker 10 (12:47):
You know he's been doing those like millennial tours with
like bat Uk and like Chingy and you know everyone
that was cool in like the early two thousands.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
I think they have one coming up. Actually, just go
around in the winter.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
All the radio.
Speaker 8 (13:01):
What happened to R and B? I know there's not
much R and B. There's some good stuff, but not
like it was early nineties. Yeah, two thousands.
Speaker 6 (13:08):
There's a couple of new ar artists like Leon Tommas.
He's really good. Like there's a couple of better ones,
but we don't really have it like we used to.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Whatever happened to freestyle? Tv B was the king of freestyle, but.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
It's not R and B.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
We used to hoast events with him.
Speaker 6 (13:21):
Isn't that rap now?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
No, it's like disco. It's a form of disco, I think. Okay,
but rain nightlife at Lisa. You and I did it
with Stev b one.
Speaker 6 (13:30):
But didn't he marry Eve or something or not Eve faith?
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Okay, I'm not aware of TVB's personal life.
Speaker 6 (13:37):
I gotta look him up.
Speaker 10 (13:37):
I'm looking him up because I'm pretty sure I gotta
look that at him.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
There we go, that's a freestyle.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Tv be the king of freestyle. Yeah the day best
part of the mass singer for me are the actual costumes.
Speaker 6 (13:51):
Oh that's not who I thought it was.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
They're amazing. Billie Eilish made a lot of friends in
twenty twenty four and apparently had a lot of great sex.
Wait for right here. It comes.
Speaker 17 (14:00):
Done nothing but make friends all year and gotten so
close with people that I wasn't with before and became
friends with people I used to be friends with again
and it's just been a year filled with friendship, which, honestly,
even though I was saying a lot of things that
I want to do, that was like the thing that
I wanted to do, and I really did it and
it was awesome, And yes, I've had a lot of
(14:22):
good sex.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Big tour, very big tour. She brought Charlie XCX on
stage into the Los Angeles.
Speaker 6 (14:28):
She seems happy. I wonder if she's a girlfriend, not
just not saying anything.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Seems like really in a good place.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
I thought she liked women and men.
Speaker 10 (14:36):
Eh, she's pretty much lesbian. Have you listened to all
her music, She's pretty much lesbian.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Okay. Ariana Grande says her focus in twenty twenty five
is going to be on acting and not on music.
Why not, Wicked did really well? Right, I'm just saying.
Justin Bieber had a big year in twenty twenty four
and I forget He and Haylee Bieber had their first child,
the baby, in August, and they're in Costa Rica right
now for a friends wedding, traveling Beaver's. Oh.
Speaker 10 (15:03):
I saw them post it looked beautiful justin Costa Rica.
Speaker 8 (15:07):
Yeah, my family and I are going to Costa Rica
next summer July. And the good news is it's to
come along. That means I want our listeners to come
with us, your family to come with us. Yeah, it's
gonna it's an all inclusive resort. It's gonna be They're
gonna be adventures, all the things Costa Rica has to offer.
Speaker 11 (15:23):
It's give me the trip of a lifetime.
Speaker 8 (15:24):
So if you want to go the information cruise dash
towards dot com you can find my vacation and then
Winnies as well.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
She's going to Portugal.
Speaker 6 (15:32):
I am going to Portugal. It's gonna be Justin's more
family geared. Mine is just like no kids, so you
don't have to beat like a girl.
Speaker 10 (15:37):
You could be a couple, you could be guys, whatever,
just no kids. So we'll be doing more of adult things.
Justin will be doing more family friendly things. So pick
your poison either way, it's gonna be a good time.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Okay, it should be fun.
Speaker 9 (15:49):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Netflix coming out with a documentary now on a VICI
you remember him what a Giants on that one and
DJ producer one of the biggest in the world. Right, justin,
but he died tragically.
Speaker 8 (16:05):
He yeah, he unfortunately took his own life. He had
some struggles, but he really was you know who they
credit with, you know, you know, bringing EDM music, electronic
dance music, yeah, into pop music.
Speaker 11 (16:16):
You know that song was massive.
Speaker 10 (16:17):
Associate him with Alo Black, like to me of each
and Al Black, because like that was their biggest.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Well, that's Al's voice, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (16:24):
Like, I just feel like that together they made really
good music.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
He was only twenty.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Yeah, it's gonna air start airing on New Year's Eve.
Speaking of which I also want New Year's Eve, they're
going to air a Vicci's final show that was in
a beat. That should be a good watch.
Speaker 8 (16:37):
I watched the first documentary and it was it was
very sad, very sad.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
And Nick Jonas taking some heat on social what's going on?
I missed that one yesterday. Oh, the Jonas Brothers fans
are losing it. I mean he put a tweet out
basically supporting Elon Musk, and you know, Elon Musk is
a part of the Trump presidency Aline government. Yeah, so
you know they're not happy with Nick Jones aligning himself
with Elon Musk.
Speaker 6 (17:02):
Justin Billy's gonna love this one.
Speaker 10 (17:04):
Everyone's like, I expected this from Kevin, but not from U, Nick,
and leave Kevin loone.
Speaker 6 (17:10):
He would never.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Kevin would really never anything Kevin.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
You know what he is being left I'd forgotten a
good feeling man.
Speaker 6 (17:21):
He's a husband.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Nobody pays attention to Kevin.
Speaker 10 (17:26):
Kevin was on the last season of The Celebate Liberty
Apprentice with Donald Trump before he ran for president.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Oh there's a fun I did not know that, Yes, yes,
and there did he win? I don't think again because
it's Kevin Kevin.
Speaker 11 (17:38):
Yeah, listen.
Speaker 8 (17:40):
The Nick Jonas thing is like, you know, this is
why you can't get involved in politics because here's and
I got some talkbacks on this earlier which we're not
going to play. But people are like, of course, you know,
they're canceling Nick Jonas. They're aligning himself with Elon Musk,
who's going to ruin everything what he does.
Speaker 11 (17:56):
But that's okay to have that opinion.
Speaker 8 (17:57):
But on the other side, there are people who love
I think he's gonna do good.
Speaker 10 (18:03):
But you know it's funny the people that hate Elon Musk,
which I don't have a dog in the fight.
Speaker 6 (18:08):
But they drive a lot of people drive Tesla's.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
You know that's him right, Well, he did innovate that space. Yeah,
so you know, I feel like a.
Speaker 10 (18:16):
Lot of like people that are trying to be conscious
of like their gas pollution. They're gonna drive and watch
your car. Where do you think came from the guy
that you hate?
Speaker 1 (18:23):
Now you know why we don't do politics on this show.
I can't even mention Jojo Joe or Nick Jonas.
Speaker 6 (18:30):
Yeah, I don't. I feel maybe he's making a joke.
I don't know. I don't think it was that political.
Speaker 11 (18:34):
I don't think it was. You can't even joke.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
It didn't even bring me to like a political space anyway.
The Weekend is tasing a tour, an album, and a
movie in twenty twenty five. Does he really want to
do another movie?
Speaker 6 (18:45):
He can't act. I think we need to justin get
your boy please.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
I'm not getting involved.
Speaker 6 (18:51):
You named your kid after him.
Speaker 8 (18:52):
I know, but listen, I love The Weekend. I hope
he doesn't do a movie. He's gonna do a movie
and you watch it.
Speaker 11 (19:00):
I mean I'll watch it.
Speaker 8 (19:01):
I watched the Idol, I finished all all the episodes
I before describe.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
There's another new list out this morning. This is busting
artists out there that misused pandemic relief money. Chris Brown,
Lil Wayne, Steve Aoki all on the list. And you
know what, we know a lot of people that misused.
Billy not me. I never got fifty cents. I never
asked and I never got.
Speaker 8 (19:26):
The Steve Aoki one is surprising to me because he's
worth a fortune. Yeah, and you know he got a
couple of million and then reportedly he paid himself one
point nine.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Well, it became like a why not thing? Oh why not?
If I can get it?
Speaker 10 (19:39):
Wait, double's advocate, just because I'm trying to see the angle. No, no, wait,
if he's his business right, and his business is not
doing anything because he can't be in the club, isn't
he losing revenue?
Speaker 2 (19:50):
He is losing revenue.
Speaker 10 (19:51):
Isn't like he's the business. Steve Aoki in the club
is the actual business.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
But I took all the money for himself.
Speaker 10 (19:57):
But I'm saying, hey, himself would have probably made ten
times at in the club that year.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Yeah, he's the performer.
Speaker 6 (20:02):
He's the performer.
Speaker 8 (20:03):
Can I interrupt real quick before you read your sponsorship.
I just got something sent to me that there is
someone in the lobby of the radio station waiting for
a T shirt from Billy.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
Yes, what is that? This is a great story. The
woman DM me. She and her daughter went to the
jingle ball and on their way out, the daughter dropped
the T shirt on the ground and I said, I
will get you a T shirt. Okay, okay, you are
ready to take a shot at me. No, yes, you were.
I wasn't.
Speaker 11 (20:33):
I just was not.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
I didn't know what that meant.
Speaker 10 (20:35):
We have security clarance around here, you know, we keep
seeing anybody in the building.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Riley's our security. She's going to be going out there
on a second. She just flecks were brought to you
by the ninety nine Restaurant. Give the perfect gift this
year a ninety nine Restaurant gift card. They are the
perfect gift for anybody on your list. For every twenty
five dollars you buy, you get a five dollars bonus
card for yourself. You gotta love the nines And there

Speaker 11 (20:57):
Billy's T shirt.
Speaker 2 (21:02):
From the Planet Fitness Kids, one of my studios.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Boy, You're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning on.
Speaker 1 (21:09):
This is so cool. We got a kid from Bridgewater,
Massachusetts that doesn't happen very often on the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show. Alec Flynn is from Boston or Bridgewater.
He's got five shows at Goose Comedy Club in December
and you can get your tickets right now Goosecomedy dot com.
But the bigger story is every year we all go
as a show to comics come home and Alex, you
(21:31):
opened the show and we thought you were the best
of the night. You crushed it. Oh, thank you.
Speaker 15 (21:35):
That's very kind of you, Billy. I appreciate that. I mean,
you are hilarious. Yeah, I mean I just kind of
went out there to try to do my best. I
was just it was a very nice coming home moment
for everybody.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
I mean my friends that were in the crowd and
my family.
Speaker 15 (21:47):
I think my buddies even remember coming to watch me
in Cambridge when they'd.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Have these little comedy comps.
Speaker 15 (21:52):
Yes, and now to be able to, like, you know,
give them a couple backstage passes for the for the
after party, I think they were they were fired moment.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Were you nervous at all?
Speaker 15 (22:01):
I mean again, I was just kind of like, you
know what Bill Bearr is on the line up, Ronnie Chang.
These are all people that like I grew up looking
up to. So at the end of the day, if
I bomb, they'll forget about me.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
You know what, now you're no slouch. I mean you've
got your own YouTube show. By the way, big Als
grow Grow ASMR.
Speaker 15 (22:18):
Yeah, so this is like, yeah, this is kind of
like a weird everybody's got a podcast now. I figured
you don't want I want a podcast where I can
just grow and hang out with my friends. It's like
most of these podcasts you can't even get a damn Lacroix.
You know, I'm out here, I'm like, what do you
want a steak sandwich with your sausages?
Speaker 1 (22:31):
What are you feeling well? Because of you?
Speaker 15 (22:33):
I'm right now going to learn what ASMR means. ASMR
is a new thing. I think it stands for audio
sensory cool stuff.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
At least I said, it's about touching. Yeah, it's about touching.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Yeah, hearing touching, yeah, yeah, that's it. And it makes
you like feel better.
Speaker 15 (22:52):
It's about like, yeah, it's a it helps people with
anxiety where you're like you're kind of like you're talking
in your whispering. Yes, I'm not just one away with billions.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Oh see, I'm feeling better already.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
Yeah, it gives me anxiety. You're drinking your Duncan coffee.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Cream. Did you really graduate? St? A.
Speaker 15 (23:13):
Sane graduated from Santa's twenty nineteen.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Yeah, my buddy, my Crocket, who's probably listening, Big hockey
star from Santa's and he's currently on the board for Santa's.
No kidding. Yeah, I love I love saa Is. Had
a good time.
Speaker 15 (23:24):
I was, Uh, I had fun there. I recently got
to play at the old Autorium. The kid who Yeah,
a couple of kids from the student affairs. They reached out,
so I got to do that.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
You went back to school to perform.
Speaker 15 (23:35):
That's very good to perform, and it was, you know,
it's kind of crazy to jump between like I'm twenty seven,
Like I'm like an elder gen Z Yeah, like and
now like the new gen Z kids. I'm like, guys,
I can tell you like you're laughing, but you're still
on your phone.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
I don't know understanding that. You know, it was weird.
Are you watching someone else on the phone while.
Speaker 15 (23:53):
You're at my Exactly, I'm like, if you guys gonna
be on your phone, I should be able to get over.
Speaker 14 (23:59):
Billy.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
She was real quick. My my mom. I'd be remiss
if I didn't give a shout out to my mom.
Speaker 15 (24:04):
She used to work here, kiss went away? What Yeah,
Sandra Vanalia from ninety three to ninety four. She said
she was in sales. She said, maybe you might remember
Sandra from sales.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
She was hot at the office. What a body ont.
Speaker 9 (24:24):
Know?
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Was she a hot mom in the neighborhood?
Speaker 11 (24:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
Probably all right, my own radio right now, I sabotaged myself.
Is she listening right now? Yeah, she's freaking out. Oh wow,
hot mom in the neighborhood. That's always a cool thing.
Speaker 9 (24:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
No, let's have a party at alex Os. Is his
mom gonna be there? No, I'm jesus, I'm just kidding.
You're the first comedian we've had from Goof's Comedy Club.
Speaker 15 (24:54):
Yeah, and that's in Somerville. Yeah, it's in Somerville. So
they just opened up a new location. They were based
out of the Cambridge Community Center. They would do like
a lot of like indie shows there. But Ryan how,
the guy that runs it, is making a big jump
and creating his own comedy club there, and it's a
great space. Every time I go back, I think like
it's it's really fun. It's packed in, it's tight, nice room,
(25:15):
nice room, low ceilings, and they now got like food
and booze there. So it's I'm excited to do it
for like the entire.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
Weekend five shows. That's a lot. Yeah, it's gonna be
a lot.
Speaker 15 (25:24):
You know. I'm gonna be just kind of like working
on new stuff, but like you know, kind of trying
to bring the heat.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
I've been grinding it out out in La. So yeah,
justin you had a question for Alec.
Speaker 8 (25:32):
Yeah, Alec, I'm in here, buddy, behind it set up.
That's a whole thing. So I wanted to ask you,
I commics come home. Part of your bit that we
loved was about your dad, Yeah, and that he was
roganized and doing ice bass.
Speaker 11 (25:45):
Now was that just a bit? Was your dad really
do ice bass?
Speaker 1 (25:48):
I mean, dude, I gotta I got a.
Speaker 15 (25:50):
TikTok at four am from this guy this morning from an.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Account called like Hustle Money Fitness. So you have a
hot dad. I don't know.
Speaker 15 (26:01):
I say, it's more just like deranged. But yeah, I
mean listen like, yeah, I mean our parents grew up.
I mean, if it's twenty seven, you know your parents
just grew up seeing like get off your phone, Get
off your phone. Now they get on TikTok and they're
just like every morning scrolling before work and it's like
it's just guys, Like it's guy like, you know, buff
dude screaming at them like you gotta want to see succeed.
Speaker 1 (26:23):
More than you to breathe. And they'll send it to
me just being like I always say this exactly, like
oh yeah, ice baths and weightlifting and yeah, all flexing
all day and posting pictures of themselves naked.
Speaker 11 (26:37):
Actually, I'd like to meet your dad.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Dude. He's a beauty. I mean, he's a really good guy.
Speaker 15 (26:40):
We we've been I think we're gonna get We're gonna
go rock climbing this weekend, which will be really fun.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
I'm getting into the rock climbing. That's like kind of
my part.
Speaker 15 (26:47):
Time job when I work in LA trying to be
part of a class action lawsuit.
Speaker 1 (26:52):
Well, this is gonna sound weird, but Justin's getting a
new sauna today, has already got a hot tub and
an ice bath so your dad could have some fun
over her. And yeah, you guys can all sweat together.
It'll be fun.
Speaker 8 (27:01):
No, we'll do we'll we'll get a workout in, then
we'll do the recovery thing in the ice bath and
then take pictures and send him to Ax.
Speaker 6 (27:07):
Yeah great, Well, well he is with his dad, Bill,
you can be with his mom.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
He just went away. Family is now my family.
Speaker 15 (27:15):
And I'm not sure how I feel about it, but
Christmas will be interested.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
I'm gonna do you a real solid night. This entire show,
we were all noticing your sweater that you're wearing today.
We thought it was a cool sweater. And this is
some guy you know. Let's so let's give a shout out.
So's giving you free stuff. Shout out man Race clothing McLaughlin.
He he comes out with like it's all a kind
of like New England based clothing. He's wonderful jackets, wonderful
(27:42):
uh clothes. And I'm yeah, like I always like trying
to wear the stuff and kind of like rep run from.
And what's his first name? I think it's Mike. You
think it's hey Mike. Just call him, Okay, mcglauchlin. If
you're listening, okay, it's time you start giving him free
stuff on YouTube. Show he's all over Netflix. I mean,
discount's cool, but you got to start getting them sent
(28:04):
to you.
Speaker 15 (28:04):
You know, you know, you know, get the stuff sent
to you until you're on like you got your own
special on Netflix and stuff, but you have a special
on YouTube. It's on YouTube. I mean I'm on Hulu now,
which is kind of cool.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Okay, trying for free sweaters. That's why I listen. It's
only a part of the YouTube. I don't know. I
gotta I gotta figure it out. How about Ghibli's Fine
men's clothing. You've heard of them? No, I'm just kidding.
Did you really study in Madrid, Spain? Was that like?
Oh yeah, that was wonderful.
Speaker 15 (28:27):
I mean, my it was nuts, because like you go
from like just wearing essentially like hockey sweatshirts every day
at saying A's trying to not like freeze freeze your
butt off, to uh, you know, you're in Plaza del Soul,
I'm wearing like a white denim jacket. I got like
because I would try to get a haircut. I didn't
know how to order a haircut there. So I'd go
in and say like, hey, I reckon on me India.
(28:49):
I met by day and then they would just he
would just say something and I'd be like, So I'm
walking around with the pompadoor like like at least four inch.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
That's normal there, and that's normal.
Speaker 15 (29:07):
I'm wearing like black tight skinny jeans.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
I looked awesome. Now do you come home from Madrid,
Spain with material? Good material?
Speaker 15 (29:16):
When I come home with like crippling depression. I'm back
in Manchester, New Hampshire, and I'm like, I need an outlet.
And that's where I found stand up on.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
This is what I'm going to be dealing with in
a couple of minutes. Okay, Like you're gonna leave the
room right and Lisa, and when are you gonna be like?
Oh my god, he's so cute.
Speaker 6 (29:36):
He's like, are you single?
Speaker 1 (29:45):

Speaker 1 (29:52):
All right, we got the new guy.
Speaker 18 (29:55):
Okay, Pete, how are you in that category?
Speaker 1 (30:06):
And Lisa, I knew this was gonna happen when he's

off the door from her office.
Speaker 11 (30:13):
Alex Flynn was he was really good.
Speaker 6 (30:16):
Oh he's so sweet.
Speaker 8 (30:18):
Yeah, we loved him at Comics Come Home he was
the opener, Yes, and he was great.
Speaker 11 (30:22):
And then shout up producer Riley.
Speaker 8 (30:24):
She was the one that told me he was coming,
and so I DMed him and he hopped on the
training came so really cool. Go check him out a
goofs in Summerville. He's on a fast rise.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
I mean, look already New York Comedy Festival and Ladies
co headline, Netflix YouTube and Ladies.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
He's single with blue eyes.
Speaker 10 (30:41):
Yeah, okay, okay, sorry Harry Styles of Comedy.
Speaker 11 (30:47):
I guess so all right, Well we got some talk
back leftovers here.
Speaker 19 (30:50):
Hi, Mike Premner Hamshire. I just called him to say
I'm just leaving a talk back to say how much
I love the show. I hope you have a great
vacation next week. And I'm really looking forward to the
end of the air Countdown. I listen every year. I
know Justin puts a lot of hard work into it.
I listen to the Kiss Top thirty countdown every week.
So when'sda the end of the air Countdown happening?
Speaker 8 (31:13):
Thank you, oh, thank you, Mike well, there's a couple
of countdowns happening. Yes, we have the Top twenty four
moments of twenty twenty four that's gonna air starting Monday.
It's a two day event Monday and Tuesday. We are
the host counting on the twenty four moments, and then
the Top thirty countdown, a year end countdown with Billy
and I that's gonna air on Christmas Eve for the
(31:36):
first time from three pm to six pm.
Speaker 10 (31:39):
Ooh, Christmas Eve, my birthday, it's his birthday.
Speaker 8 (31:42):
And then Christmas Day nine to twelve in the morning
and then nine to nine to twelve at night. Then
it's gonna air again over the weekend and then New
Year's Eve from six to nine pm.
Speaker 11 (31:54):
Wow, the Top thirty years.
Speaker 8 (31:56):
Yeah, and then the Top twenty four moments Monday and
Tuesday's the first air. It's going to air multiple times,
so if you miss it, you'll be able to hear
it again on here, but it'll be podcasted as well.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
And don't forget us thee all new iHeart app right, well,
all the new changes that took affected at midnight last night.
Speaker 8 (32:10):
So you can find the podcast all the moments after
they air on the iHeart podcast. So the new features
are amazing as well, so we talked about that earlier.
They all kinds of new things. They have presets, you
can scan different radio stations, and they have Bill's favorite,
the What's Trending list?
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Yeah, top five in the world.
Speaker 8 (32:28):
Yeah, so the top ten moments that are trending literally
right now in the world. And Billy's interviews at jingle
Ball are number five.
Speaker 6 (32:35):
So it's been there, We've been what jingle Ball was
up five days ago.
Speaker 10 (32:38):
It's holding strong, still there, holding strong since five days Bill.
Speaker 8 (32:42):
Yeah, Well, the the ABC airing on TV of jingle
Ball was last night and it's on Hulu right now.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
Boy, we got a lot going on.
Speaker 10 (32:48):
You know what I think helping to Bill. All over TikTok,
people are stealing our videos of.
Speaker 6 (32:54):
You at Tate and Kilroy all.
Speaker 10 (32:56):
Their fans are so into the fact that you got
them both to admit that there together.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Wait a minute, can I say the words I'm blowing
up on TikTok?
Speaker 11 (33:03):
You are blowing up?
Speaker 10 (33:05):
I know she's annoying because I see them on our
four on my page, and it's not our it's our
beady that they stole.
Speaker 6 (33:10):
So everyone's like, oh my god, it has two million hits,
but like, we don't get there.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
It's actually our interviews from backstage because it's a collective
effort from backstage a jingle ball as Wallace Kis concert.
So that's cool.
Speaker 6 (33:20):
Yeah, no, it's doing really well.
Speaker 11 (33:21):
That's great.
Speaker 8 (33:22):
And then there was a moment with Meghan Trainor and
michaela the makeup.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
Yes, yes, that's right.
Speaker 11 (33:28):
Yes, she was in the front row.
Speaker 6 (33:29):
She noticed her.
Speaker 11 (33:30):
Yeah, and then she said it to you, Lisa, right, well, no.
Speaker 6 (33:33):
It was oh god, there's a second one.
Speaker 10 (33:35):
Mikhayla was also fangirling over Joe Gatto, but Lisa and
Billy were on stage with him. So you have to
see Lisa on her TikTok and her Billy.
Speaker 6 (33:44):
And she's sitting there crying. Yes, I Michayla Wow.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Yeah, so I mentioned it to me yesterday. They saw
it on her thing.
Speaker 9 (33:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (33:52):
I don't know how much you really care.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
I don't give a you know what about Michayla.
Speaker 17 (34:00):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
That just that is actually Mikayla ship.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
That is perfect.
Speaker 8 (34:05):
All right, we gotta come to the end of the show.
We are going to come back though with the wrap
up and everything. You missed and what's coming up and
all that good stuff. The wrap up is next Happy Thursday, Don't.
Speaker 6 (34:13):
Kiss Kids, run Away.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
It's the morning wrap up on Billy and Lisa in
the Morning.
Speaker 8 (34:19):
All right, this is the time of the show. We
take a look back before we say goodbye, and what
you may have missed, what you can catch up on
the podcast. And I want to start with this moment
from this morning. The educator in Boston. Oh yeah, you know,
she was Educator of the Year. Her name is Tanisha Milton.
She works in Boston, and Jennifer Hudson had her on
the show yesterday and brought out a surprise for her.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
Winning this award wasn't just for me.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
It was bigger than me. It was for my whole
entire school community.
Speaker 7 (34:45):
Yes, not only had you inspired us all, but there's
someone here who would love to meet you.
Speaker 17 (34:51):
No?
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Is that all right? My god?
Speaker 6 (34:53):
All right?
Speaker 7 (34:54):
Please welcome the one Elie Morcelle Bata.
Speaker 8 (35:00):
Yeah, it's really good, it's really good. We love teachers.
Of course, a lot of teachers listen to this show.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
They do so.
Speaker 8 (35:05):
In our weird story segment, we had an interesting one.
Lisa had the story of this new skincare thing that
people are doing with beef tallow. So they're taking the
fat of beef and they're rubbing it on their face.
Speaker 11 (35:17):
We were kind of torn on it. Yes or no.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Beef tallow amazing for the skin. Love it.
Speaker 4 (35:23):
My skin doesn't like anything in the world, and the
tallow is amazing.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
I will, however, not be making it myself.
Speaker 6 (35:30):
That is one dii y that I will leave to
other people. I just have to ask.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Does it smell like beef?
Speaker 1 (35:35):
It must?
Speaker 8 (35:36):
I mean, well, I don't know, because there's a whole
process of how they do it, so it might remove
some of the smell.
Speaker 1 (35:41):
Okay, it probably smells like grease though.
Speaker 11 (35:43):
Yeah, but if you do decide to down it's greasy.
If you decided to do it, you gotta be careful.
Speaker 14 (35:47):
I could never do that beef facial moisturizer.
Speaker 18 (35:52):
My dog would.
Speaker 3 (35:57):
People without pets, imagine Titus.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
He wouldn't get off.
Speaker 8 (36:03):
Yeah, god, oh my god. So for topic time this morning.
This came from Lisa's shopping experience this week. Basically, she
had a whole billy bag that she bought a noise from,
left it behind, went home.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
It wasn't with.
Speaker 11 (36:18):
Her miraculously, right, Lisa, you went back and you got it.
Speaker 8 (36:22):
And so that was the topic shopping nightmares. But Lisa's
was basically a miracle.
Speaker 14 (36:26):
Speaking of miracles, I need one this week.
Speaker 20 (36:30):
I nanny two little boys and they are super sick.
One has pneumonia and one has been just throwing all
week and mom's away on business damn, and Dad all
of a sudden came down with the sickness as well.
So it's just me standing, I'm the only one to
pray for a miracle that the boys get better for Christmas.
Speaker 6 (36:51):
And I don't get it.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
That's oh boy.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
It happens when you're a nanny and you're a protocutive verder.
You have these issues, Like, good for you that you
can do it.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
I think, yeah, this is my life, my life. No, literally,
at least your children.
Speaker 6 (37:06):
I've not even her children.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Yeah, I don't know. My kid's been sick for three months.
Really had a cold.
Speaker 8 (37:12):
Yeah, she's had a cold for three months. You know,
her nose will stop running for like a couple of days.
She goes back to daycare. That's where they get We
picked her up yesterday and it's amazing daycare. We picked
her up every kid had a running nose, and I
think one kid had conjunctivitis.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Do you wonder though, like the teachers end up becoming
like immune to its right?
Speaker 1 (37:30):
They must Did you actually see the kid with pink
eye going up.
Speaker 6 (37:38):
Send your kids to school? Pink guy?
Speaker 1 (37:40):
I don't know what that belt was. You want to
edit that part out?
Speaker 8 (37:45):
And finally coming up tomorrow, we wait for it all
year long. The billion leads to show awards.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Oh right, this is great.
Speaker 1 (37:53):
So here's what you.
Speaker 11 (37:53):
Need to know.
Speaker 8 (37:54):
Eight ten tomorrow morning, we're going to do the awards, right,
so that's for us, that's the best and the worst
of the year twenty twenty four. And then at nine
ten we're going to announce the Talkbacker.
Speaker 11 (38:04):
Of the Year.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
Oh I wonder who it could be?
Speaker 11 (38:07):
Well, nine ten you'll have to find out.
Speaker 8 (38:08):
But at eight ten we're going to do all the
different awards that we do every year. And to give
you a sample of one of the winners of last year,
that was Lisa, I think for the sixth year in
a row. She won last year for you know the dirtiest.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
This picturesque peness that comes like in a second. The
whole is a perfect circle, some people don't want to
sticker finger in it.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
Yeah, this is pretty big and it's massive. It's a
smelly blob.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
You hold your breath and you just keep swallowing very hard.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
I had sex on the conference room table. He calls
me tips, Maggie. It depends on who's doing the sucking.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
And I have to tell you, if it was Harry
would be just fine.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
That is an all new one.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
By the way, that's an award.
Speaker 11 (38:57):
Yeah, how are you.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Going to be that?
Speaker 6 (38:59):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (38:59):
It's a perfect penis all taken out of content?
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Well, what time is the winner of that category? Eight
ten tomorrow morning.
Speaker 8 (39:06):
Other categories include the Biggest mess Ups, the Best Singing,
and Billy's favorite, the best candid Microphones.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
Oh god, I can't wait.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
Wait eight ten tomorrow morning for that. Yeah, we gotta
go listen. Tomorrow morning is going to be a massive show,
and and we're going to be celebrating our guy Dan
from Kelly's Roast Beef. He's doing a food drop off
to celebrate his retirement.
Speaker 6 (39:28):
He's retiring and we're making him do something.
Speaker 11 (39:30):
Wait a minute, we were joking when we said that earlier.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
He's really coming. He immediately texted me this morning, so
I guess my last drop off of my career will
be with you guys. Wow, that's tomorrow morning. Have a
great day everybody, enjoyed the shopping while you can, and
the Mighty One is up next
