That's a good point. That's a good point. Leave it
to you. But it's all about the money. We got
a lot of feedback. Where is the feedback coming.

Speaker 6 (01:12):
It's coming from someone's headphones. But it's really bad. Let's
figure that out real quick.

Speaker 8 (01:15):
We had an issue with the headphones this morning. Billy
couldn't find his.

Speaker 6 (01:18):
So it would taking it from Bill. I need you
to turn your head to the left and then to
the right. Now mine are fine, okay, Winnie, okay, Lisa
hmm hmmm.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Riley turned your head to the right and left. Okay, Okay.
Well you know what it is. It's a Friday morning
technical glitch. But I don't want to talk about that.
This is a positive, big Friday show. First things First,
it's Coachella weekend. It is all right, I've got a
plane standing by it logan, it's going to take me

you in. Everybody. We cannot predict what's going to be
said or what's going to happen on the Big Friday Show.

part of that big lineup. It kicks it off that's right.
Dining Playbook with Me kicks it off tomorrow morning at
nine o'clock on nest.

Speaker 8 (03:18):
You know that my TV always has that pop up like, oh,
there's a new episode of Dining Playbook, you know, and
click on it now.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
You know, at least in the settings, you can take
that off.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Okay, I bet you.

Speaker 10 (03:29):
Billy was over and like put it on your TV.
We'll take it off for you. What what are we

The reminder that a new episode of Dining.

Speaker 8 (03:36):
Show always pops up on my screen. Oh, there's a
new episode of Playbook.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Click it down?

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Yeah, followed by meet Boston. Yeah, ask how her TV
show is? Yeah, how's that going so far? I don't
have cable, never mind the TV show.

Speaker 6 (03:49):
I do watch it every Saturday at the gym.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Oh good, well, well you're getting a pump on.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
I don't hear the volume of it, but I read
the captions.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Yeah. What are you working on this weekend? The delts?

Speaker 6 (03:58):
I do arms twice a week. I'll be doing some
arms in the morning.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
All right, you gotta get that pump going.

Speaker 6 (04:03):
Oh yeah, I watch it, you know.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
I watch Dining Playbook like every episode.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
I don't know why I gotta tell you something. We
shot yesterday in the Seaport District for Meat Boston, and
I got to give a headstop for parents of young children. Winnie,
how young is your niece? Or perfect? Perfect? There's a
place in the Seaport District called the Museum of ice Cream.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Oh, yes, I've heard of it.

Speaker 8 (04:27):
Oh my god, what a fantastic It's a great take
for kids. So you're always looking for things to do
with the little ones, and this is the perfect spot.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
A It's one of the most interactive places I've gone to.
There are several different experiences and rooms, and almost every
room you go in you can get a free ice cream.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Like, yeah, you hit a.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Bell and then a little trapdoor and there's an ice
cream sandwich. It's not really free when you get in, right,
but it's bonus.

Speaker 8 (04:54):
Yeah, you can just walk through every room and just
keep eating ice cream.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Hot tip. Good for a birthday party for young kids, yes, okay,
you know, because then there's a giant soda fountain bar
like out of the fifties. It's beautiful and parents can
get wine or espresso, martinis or drinks.

Speaker 10 (05:08):
My brother's too cheap for that, Oh okay, but I'll
take them out.

Speaker 6 (05:11):
I'm telling you justin Jemma will love this place. I
think we're gonna make a day trip out of it.
Billy called me yesterday with this information.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
It's crazy cool.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
He was ranting and raving about it.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
It's ice cream. It's cold and wet with a fake flavor.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, you're not a big ice cream they have.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
They have a fake jetliner but looks real. Well, you
have to grab your seats and the flight attendant comes on.
That's how you start your tour. Oh, that's so fun.
And the flight attendant also brings out a tray of
ice creams, telling you this place is cool.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
I think my daughter would love it.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Yeah, you gotta do it. Museum of ice Cream, check
it out.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Well, we went to another place that you recommended, the
Museum of Illusions. Oh yeah, in Fanuel Hall. Oh yeah,
and that was great. Yeah, up on the second floor.
This skews a little younger. Okay. Everything is like pink
and red and white. It's it's very cool. You gotta
do it, boy, mostly for adult my daughter.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Yeah. You know what else is happening this weekend? The
Rain reunion. Did we forget about that?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Very The lead that's all we should be talking.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
About Tomorrow night. Rain Reunion used to be rained, it's
now mixed three to sixty and ninety nine. You got
to come out. The whole morning show's going.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
I am getting reports that it's it's expected to be
a beyond sold out house.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Oh really?

Speaker 6 (06:30):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Oh I didn't know that. Who's giving you the report?

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Just inside information?

Speaker 4 (06:34):
WHOA?

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yeah, that's great?

Speaker 4 (06:36):
All right? So when are you got to get there early?
Don't be texting me and telling me to come out
to the door and get you.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
In on your list on your guests.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Oh that's right, I'd put you on the guests the
guest list.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
I'll pop in.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
You're not coming anyway?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Why you're just saying going to come?

Speaker 6 (06:51):
He doesn't want to come. She's been complaining about it
all week long. We don't know why she's She doesn't dance.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
I don't dance.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
Oh really, dance?

Speaker 6 (06:57):
What are you going to do? Stand there and watch?

Speaker 4 (06:59):
Yeah, gotta get up and down.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I don't know. And I'm just gonna go say.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Hi, no, you go step this way.

Speaker 6 (07:11):
We're gonna be dancing. Would you be standing in the corner?

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, literally, that's me. That's me. I'll be at the
corner looking judging where I'm supposed to be.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
I feel drunk and I haven't had a second.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
You do feel drunk?

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Yeah, don't I sound drunk?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Last seven minutes.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Where I haven't been hitting the bottle this morning?

Speaker 2 (07:34):
This is like a stream of consciousness conversation.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
It's gonna be a crazy Friday with Billy.

Speaker 4 (07:40):

Speaker 8 (07:40):

biggest song of the year. Is he going to have
a follow up one day later?

Speaker 4 (07:58):

I'm calling to wish my daughter Riley good luck as
we get ready to head to Dublin, Ireland for the
Irish Dance World Championship. We are so proud of her
and all the other dancers from the Murray Academy of
Irish Dance in Exeter, New Hampshire. We can't wait to
see her take the stage on Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Have a great day, producer. Riley is an Irish step dancer.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
No, it's her daughter, Riley.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
It's so big around here.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, very vague. Yeah, we have two
studios in our neighborhood, Irish step dancing studios in West
mem Yeah.

Speaker 8 (09:08):
Yeah, there are a couple where I live to and
then in Canton too.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
There's like a lot. Yeah, it's everywhere.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
The Rubber Dance was just here and they might still
be here.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Oh yeah. In fact, buddy Mike Rocket and his wife
Tricia going to River Dance this week.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Yeah, it must still be here.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
I always wanted to go to Riverdance me too.

Speaker 10 (09:22):
It's funny going to Ireland to do our step dancing
like I'd be so intimidated if you're doing an extra
New Hampshire and I have to go to Ireland.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
To do it. Oh, they got to be really good.

Speaker 6 (09:34):
Well, good luck to her daughter, and make sure you
check in next week after let us know what happened.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Oh yeah, oh boy.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Now the entertainment updates with the Billys.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Okay, the Coachella Festival this weekend. Just announced it. Yes,
the festival will be streamed again this year on the
YouTube starting today. By the way, the lineup Lady Gaga,
Post Malone, Travis Godvins and Boone, Green Day and Edge
Sheer is going to make a guest appearance I guess.
And by the way, Weezer will still do the show.
Even though the bass player's wife was shot by police. Oh,

(10:05):
she's got a million dollars bail. She's out on a
million dollars bail. Apparently she came busting out of the
house carrying a gun and wouldn't put it down.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
I saw TMC got him on the street walking his dog.
The husband yeah, and they're just like at the camera
in his face, like what do you think about your wife? Crazy?

Speaker 4 (10:24):
But the Weezer Show is on at coach he.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Needs the money.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah, the show must go on.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
That's it. That's never changed. The show must go on.
Speaking of a Coachella, A sure, and yes, going to
be there. He's talking about going country. I've made I've made.

Speaker 6 (10:38):
Country songs in the past, They've just never come out.
I feel like I have to. I have to do it,
probably properly. And I think when you transition to country,
you can't transition back.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
Once you're there, You're there. We'll see what happens with that. Meantime,
a lot of TV this weekend. John Hamm the guest
host on Saturday Night Live. Tomorrow Night. Lizzo is the
musical guest. Sunday, the third season finale of Yellow Jacket.
I watched the first couple of episodes of that, but
then fell away from it for some reason. But it's
still on. Also the series finale of nineteen twenty three.

(11:09):
My son Chris is telling me I should be watching
that still. I watched it when it started, but I stopped.
I'm getting back to it. Sunday night, the new season
of the Last of Us begins.

Speaker 8 (11:19):
I think I'm the only one on the show here
that's watched it. Yeah, it's more sci fi end of
the World stuff. But Pedro Pascal, isn't it. He's amazing.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Oh yeah, everybody loves Pedro Pascal.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
He's really good.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
I mentioned Saturday Night Live. How about this? Lord Michael
says he's going to produce a British version, so at
the open of every show it'll be live from London.
It's Saturday Night, okay, and sayssor dropped by Sesame Street.
She did a cute song about being kind and hung
out with the cast.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
What's says a daring.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Oh, I'm just adding this picture to my gratitude jar.
What's a gatity j?

Speaker 12 (11:53):
A gratitude jar is a place where you can put
words or pictures of things you're grateful for.

Speaker 10 (11:58):
Ah, what do you use it?

Speaker 11 (12:00):
Well, sometimes when you feel sad or have other really
big feelings, it can be easy to forget the things
that we're thankful for.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
It's got to be hard to go on Sesame straight.

Speaker 13 (12:11):
Love.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah, I like that. That was a nice message.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Yeah, and by the way, it's new music Friday so
justin let's go get it.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
Well. You know, Shaboozie is going to be at Coachella
this weekend, and we were just talking yesterday about him
and if he was going to have a big follow
up to a bar song because it was so big,
And here we are one day later, brand new collaboration.
This one's cool Shaboozy and Miles Smith. He has that
shot song stargazing. It's called Blink Twice.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
No Time for living a lie m h. I think
that's what he said it is.

Speaker 6 (13:00):
I think so. I do like the song. I like
to sound a lot. Next up, Cynthia Rivo announced a
new album and the song from that album, the lead single,
is called worst of Me. One of the best voices
in music. I'd say.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Left of me em.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
You know what I heard Ariana's performance at the Oscars.
That was one for the record book. Oh yeah, two
big voices.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Seems like a very cool lady too.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
Yeah. And finally we have a new Jelly Roll, who,
by the way, is down two hundred pounds. Wow, journey
two hundred. I mean he was almost five hundred, so
it's a ways to go, but good for him. New
song it's called Dreams don't.

Speaker 9 (13:52):
Die out of crown now, lad, I've been doing it
all my.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
Please, don't pray it down.

Speaker 6 (14:09):
I just fall on a fly. The Jelly Roll story,
it really is crazy. Oh yeah, rapper he was. He
was like a down South kind of gangster rapper. Yeah,
it was all over his face and then he just
realized he could sing.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
He has the most beautiful voice.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (14:25):
His song I'm Not Okay is like, yeah, one of
my most favorite songs of all time.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
And his stories are just moving on. He told me
once sefton that he uses you as inspiration or vice versa.
What did you max out at wait wise?

Speaker 14 (14:38):
Oh god, yeah, where did you tip the scales out?

Speaker 6 (14:42):
I think it was like three fifty, right around around
three fifty. And now you look like a superhero. No, no,
I'm far from a super Bowl. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
You're all muscle. It's amazing.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
It's just consistency is what it is.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, and it's a It's a journey, right, yep, it
always is.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
So This weekend is the last regular season weekend for
Inside the NBA on TNT. It's moving to ESPN. Ernie
Johnson had a farewell yesterday.

Speaker 15 (15:07):
No time for bitterness it is time for appreciation. It's
time for gratitude, and it has been my pleasure to
be one of your co workers, one of your teammates,

(15:29):
and a part of this family.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Lovely remember that message Whennie, it's no time for bitterness,
leave the bitterness at the door.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
There's a lot of messaging on the show this night.

Speaker 8 (15:45):
Yeah the gratitude jar and yeah, uh so okay.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Bill Belichick's girlfriend, like Jordan, apparently isn't willing to give
up cheerleading or beauty pageants. Because Lisa she's entering a
beauty Yeah.

Speaker 8 (16:00):
She announced it on her Instagram yesterday that she wants
to be Miss Maine USA. She's competing May tenth and
eleventh up in Portland, Maine.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Maybe we should go up for the weekend and support
our friend.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
So she was Miss Maine and now she's trying to
regain the throne.

Speaker 8 (16:18):
No, this is her dream, like she posted this, this
is what she wants. So she's going to be up
in Portland May tenth through the eleventh.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yep, she was.

Speaker 10 (16:25):
She was missed like Handcock, which is like this town
she's from, Oh just a little. And then she went
to Miss Maine and didn't win. So now she's going again.
I believe Oh she lost miss a Dream.

Speaker 6 (16:35):
Yeah, maybe Miss USA next.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
This is a dream.

Speaker 6 (16:38):
I did see her. She was posted a video yesterday
of her getting thrown in the air. What do you
call it, the male cheerleaders or whatever.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Yeah, yeah, Oh, she was practicing.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
She's a flyer, That's what she is.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Karen Reid the retrial. Sixteen jurors have been seated. The
judge wants two more. In the middle of it all,
Karen Reid apparently did another interview, this one with Benny Fairlies.

Speaker 8 (17:00):
Yeah, there are a couple of takeaways. She says that
she would have cheered O. J. Simpson acquittal after what
she learned over the course of her own murder prosecution.
That was one takeaway. Another one is this is interesting.
You know how they said in February that the federal
investigation was closed. She believes it's not really closed. She
believes it hasn't ended and they're either lying. And she

(17:22):
said that the new US Attorney General is choosing not
to make it a thing. She also says that Special
Prosecutor Hank Brennan is a good match for Alan Jackson,
and she criticized Michael Proctor for releasing statements to the
media through his wife and sister. Oh okay, those are
just a few of the takeaways the new Vanity Fair.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
I'd get behind the last one.

Speaker 16 (17:43):
Yeah, I don't know about the OJ one out of
left field. It's a little sketchy, Mike Hey, Tonight is
the grand opening of the new card Vault by Tom Brady.
This is my son Christ's company in retail store or
the American Dream ro Mall. The grand opening is tonight.
And by the way, it has been confirmed we will

(18:07):
have Tom Brady on this show next week.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
This is gonna be a big week for us because.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
He's partnered with my son. They're opening stores all over
America and it's kind of a big deal. So I
got the guarantee yesterday. Tom Brady's going to call into
the show next week. Yep, which is big. And aren't
we having Jay Schatty on the show next week?

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Yes, that's what I'm saying. It's gonna be a big week.

Speaker 8 (18:29):
We will have Jay Shatty on the show Tuesday morning,
Oh boy.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
And then Monday we start the contest to give away
a free car.

Speaker 15 (18:36):
Yep.

Speaker 6 (18:36):
We'll be talking about that this morning and also also
Juliana from The Bachelor.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
I'm telling you this is like, this is a big
week radio.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
This is all next week.

Speaker 8 (18:48):
Ye So do you think can I have Riley come
in and meet her? But he's going to have to
miss some school.

Speaker 6 (18:53):
Yeah, we're not sure. If Grant is coming, he might okay,
you know, he's kind of in and out of town,
but they're staying together.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Yeah, I guess I want.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Okay, Well, we might just get Juliana. It depends on
Grant's sketch.

Speaker 4 (19:03):

Speaker 11 (20:11):
From the Planet's Fitness Kiss one Away Studios, We're back
with a Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
Hey guys, so welcome back. So I'm gonna be rainy
for the most part today, Lisa, cold rain.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Well, we we woke up to a wintery mix. It
was snowing where I was.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Yeah, oh boys, yeah, so.

Speaker 8 (20:28):
It's yeah, it's gonna it's gonna clear out and just
be cloudy but cold like forties and then a lot
of rain this weekend and wind.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
All weekend long rain.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
So it's just a rain. It's our third weekend in
a row.

Speaker 6 (20:40):
Maybe I'll watch the Last of Us, Yes, because the
new season is Sunday. Right, Yeah, I haven't watched the
first season.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
It's so good.

Speaker 7 (20:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Actually, and then we can talk about it.

Speaker 6 (20:50):
Yeah yeah, the breaking bad.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
Oh, I'm all in.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
I can't. This is amazing.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
How many you uh, four episodes in and you told
me the first season was kind of a slow season.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
It's the worst.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
I like it.

Speaker 6 (21:01):
Oh yeah, but if you like the you like the
first season, you will love the rest.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
Oh, Jesse's my man.

Speaker 11 (21:09):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
Anyway, Yeah, it's gonna be a wet weekend, so it's
gonna be a great weekend to binge watch stuff. Okay,
but in the meantime, today is the last day for
the double Play flyaway, so you'd be crazy not to
pay close attention today. This is your final shot at
a trip for four five days, four nights, Universal Orlando,
all expenses paid, including your airfare. This is crazy Land.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Yeah, this is it.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
And the artist of the day, the final one today
is Billie Eilish.

Speaker 7 (21:38):
It's Billy Eilish and you're waking up with Billy and
Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Kiss wait, I love that.

Speaker 6 (21:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
So you want two Billie Eilish songs in a row,
back to back, you'd be called twenty five at six one, seven,
nine eight. What a great way to start a rainy weekend,
a trip to Universal Orlando for four people. All right,
so you're going to be listening for that. Two in
a row, two in a row. Can we talk about
next week on this show again? It hit me a

(22:08):
few minutes ago during entertainment how much we got going
on on the show next week.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Oh, it's like an all star week. Next week.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
We're gonna have Tom Brady on the show. We're gonna
have Juliana from the Bachelor on the show, and we're
gonna have Jay Shetty on the show, who is an
award winning podcaster author.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
Now he's had everybody on his show.

Speaker 8 (22:28):
Right everyone. He's very good friends with Mel Robbins. He
just had Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez on recently.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Yeah, I think we played some of that interview we did.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Charlemagne the God was a guest on his show.

Speaker 6 (22:42):
Yeah, Oprah, Will Smith, I mean, the list goes on
and on. Tom Hanks, So.

Speaker 8 (22:49):
Do you know that he's a former monk, remember the
White Lotus, that sort of storyline. Sure, Yeah, he spent
three years as a.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
Hindu monk, three years in a case.

Speaker 8 (23:00):
He spent three years studying with them, Monsters and frightful.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
Jay's about enlightenment.

Speaker 8 (23:06):
His whole podcast is called On Purpose with Jay Shetty,
and he's a motivational speaker. He wants you to find
balance in your life. That's his whole mantra.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
But we both know that all you care about is
striking blue eyes.

Speaker 8 (23:18):
Well that's I mean that hits you right in the
face every time you want.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
You see him on Instagram.

Speaker 6 (23:22):
About his eyes. So he was on the Ran Show.
He was in New York yesterday. When it comes to
Boston or you know chext In with Us and the eyes.
I was watching him when he when he talks and
looks at you or looks at whoever he's talking to,
you just get locked in on the eyes. Yeah. I
know it sounds weird. Go check it out if you
haven't seen it. But anyway, Yeah, he was on Elvis.
He talked about a lot of a lot of stuff.
One of the things he talked about was something I

(23:43):
think we all do is look at our phones as
soon as we wake up, which he says not to do.

Speaker 18 (23:49):
Don't wake up to your phone. It's as simple as that.
Don't wake up to your phone. Don't make the first
thing you see in the morning news, negativity, notifications, and noise.
You would never let a hunhundred people into your bedroom
in the morning.

Speaker 6 (24:04):
Yeah, so my alarms on my phone, so my alarm
was off in the morning. I pick up my phone,
I shut my alarms off. I turned the volume down
because my wife's sleeping, and then I open Instagram.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
I do the same thing in the dark, like I
unplugged the phone, turn off the alarm, and then immediately
go to my text messages see if anything happened.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
I don't do that.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
I don't tell Jay that.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I honestly, I don't look at it until I get
in here.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Wow, good for you. I'm jealous.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
I can't wait. Literally, you know, I'm like in the dark,
walking through the different rooms upstairs, and I'm looking at
the text.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Message better than I think you're.

Speaker 6 (24:41):
Really are you have to talk to Jah, Yeah, I
feel like so many people do.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Oh, of course they do.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yeah. I have to go back to getting like a
real alarm, so I don't look at my phone.

Speaker 6 (24:50):
Yeah, oh the old school.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Yeah, do you sleep with your phone in the bed
with you?

Speaker 10 (24:54):
I'm gonna get I'm convincing to get cancer.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Furiation, So you don't even I wake up.

Speaker 10 (24:59):
My phone owns like under me, on top of me,
at my ear, like it's everywhere.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
Yeah, like I usually need it down downstairs.

Speaker 4 (25:08):
Yeah. So in the middle of a sleep, you'll pick
up your phone and check if anything's going on.

Speaker 10 (25:11):
If I guess if I like him, the middle of
the night, I'll be, oh, what time is it? And
then I'll be like, oh, I have a text, I
have a notification, and I'll look at.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
Like two in the morning, and then instantly go into
a Braxton Family reunion episode.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
You go down the rabbit hole.

Speaker 10 (25:24):
Actually, speaking of that, I did bag up to some
Braxton News.

Speaker 6 (25:27):
Did you guys see that?

Speaker 4 (25:28):
No, I'm sorry, I didn't get the Braxton News anything
we should know about.

Speaker 10 (25:32):
Tony Braxton's sickly married birdman. And then two days later
I filed for divorce.

Speaker 14 (25:35):
Okay, Tony bringing it back to j for one more second,
and why and why he's calling in because he's coming
to Boston May fifteenth at the Wang and there might
be some tickets left, so that's why he's going to be.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
On the show.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
Okay, Yeah, and uh, you know you mentioned Selena Gomez
and Benny Black on his podcast, so they were ask like,
you know who, You'll probably ask them the same thing,
who's your favorite guest. It's really hard to pinpoint. Yeah,
but I think because the Selena and Benny were so
so it's recent. It just happened.

Speaker 18 (26:02):
He chose that it was such an amazing show he
was having Benny and Selena, and at the same time
it was such a special episode because they just showed
up in their.

Speaker 4 (26:11):
Roorrest, most vulnerable, most honest.

Speaker 18 (26:14):
And what was really beautiful is the episode was all
over TikTok and Instagram, but the conversation was all around
positive masculinity and the comments were hilarious. There's one comment
that says, I'm just leaving this on loud so that
my husband can hear well.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Bended.

Speaker 8 (26:27):
We say that all the time, like Benny is the
guy that you one of us.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
And Lisa's got his picture up. I'm mesmerized by his.

Speaker 8 (26:34):
Oh Ja Shetty, Oh god, yeah this is a good guy.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Yeah, this is a good looking guy. So let's recap.
Jay Shetty on the show next week, Tom Brady on
the show next week. Juliana from the Bachelor on the
show next week and Monday morning we start a new
contest where we're giving away a car.

Speaker 15 (26:50):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (26:51):
Okay, yep, thanks to McGovern We've did this before, back
in January. It was a big hit. We gave away
literally a car.

Speaker 8 (26:57):
I went to the actual oh right, the car dealership
and saw how they did it.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
It was so suspenseful. Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (27:05):
Well we're doing it again. Seven ten Monday morning is
all you need to know. Seven ten Monday morning, Bill Lisa.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
Kiss one o eight. Hey, guys, welcome back. It is
the final day of the double Play flyaway. The artist
of the day is Billie Eilish. We gave you a tease.
We played a Billie Eilish song, but you have to
get two songs back to back. Billy Eilish should be
called twenty five at six one seven, nine, three one
one eight And well we wait for all that to happen.
We're coming up on topic time in a few minutes.

(27:34):
And apparently, Lisa, you've got a list of the craziest
ways people can be fired. All right.

Speaker 8 (27:38):
This came from a woman who works in HR and
she shared the craziest things she's had to fire people for.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
First guy was napping in his car from ten am
till almost one every single day. He had been doing
this for like four months straight. But I ended up
firing him by knocking on his door because we were
trying to find him and he was a wall and
he opened the door and he was so shocked, and
you could not believe that he was getting fired for
sleeping three hours every single day. An employee had just
gotten a verbal warning so not even written anything about

(28:06):
stealing company supplies because he was loading cases of toilet
paper into his vehicle. He got really upset and went
straight into We had this big glass meeting room where
all the execs for meeting, turned around, dropped his pants and.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Set my butt against the window. Oh no, that's a
disgruntled worker.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
And if you could get fired for stealing something, why
toilet paper?

Speaker 6 (28:29):
No, don't don't kid. There was there were issues in
this office before.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
Oh we had so many stealing the k cups and
they got fired for it they did. How humiliating is that?
But uh yeah, how about the guy who was mad
he got fired that he was sleeping from ten am
during in the afternoon in his car everything, Like.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
Dude, what are you doing now. Yeah, they're gonna find you.

Speaker 6 (28:49):
I mean, I'd love to hear from an HR person.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
Oh yeah, and we have a lot listening to the show.
HR people, please call in six one, seven, nine three one.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
Don't you take stuff off of people's desks all the time?

Speaker 6 (29:00):
No, that's justin don't put don't into it.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
You say, you go around the sales department and take
all the pens from all the desks.

Speaker 6 (29:08):
I borrow the pens because you steal my pens and
steal the pens, so I go. But that's harmless. I
don't like ye steel rocks. Actual, well it's stealing in
a way.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
Yeah you were fired.

Speaker 8 (29:20):
Well, well, I was like twenty years old and I
was working for like a bakery in Wellesley when I
was in college and I was turning twenty one. So
I'm out with my friends who actually went to the
Cactus Club, you know, party had fun. I mean, you know,
I was turning twenty one. I didn't show up for
work the next day because I was supposed to. I
made the muffins every morning. The fact that they gave
me the keys to the place at A I was

(29:42):
twenty and then I had to have like the big
mixer out of making like.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Carrot cake muffins and brand muffins.

Speaker 8 (29:48):
And I just didn't show up because I was out
partying the night before.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Yeah, and they let me go so fired to learn
learn my lesson.

Speaker 18 (29:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (29:56):
If there's one thing I'm known for, it's my muffin.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
What are crazy? This is so crazy.

Speaker 6 (30:07):
I feel like when you're younger, though, you just that's
when you make the mistakes, right younger. I mean, I
work in a restaurant. I've told the story before. I
tried to fake a fall. Somebody else got really hurt
at the at the restaurant, and they were getting paid
to be out, and I was like seventeen, and I
thought to myself, I want to get paid to do nothing,

(30:27):
so which is illegal. I got up on a thing
and I faked like I was falling, and they called
the ambulance and I went to the hospital and I
got paperwork and I went back to you know, my
broken back, and they brought me into the back room
and they proceeded to play the CCTV footage. Yeah, I
didn't know there were cameras of me faking the fall,

(30:47):
but shout out to them. They did not press charges.
It's told me lesson learned, now never come back.

Speaker 8 (30:54):
But you were fired? Oh on, no spot, have you
been fired?

Speaker 9 (30:57):
Bill?

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Well, I've got a story. I'll try to keep it short.
You know, Dukey and I were involved in a lot
of crazy stuff.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Yeah, insurance fraud and all.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
That, well everything when we were young. I think the
statutes have run out on just about everything. But we
we were working, not naming places and don't you get
so we were both working in this giant retail store
and I developed some sort of a syndicate within the
company where Duke and I were stealing stuff. Like we

(31:26):
even had the guys at the warehouse because you had
to give the customer a slip and go to the
warehouse and pick it up. The guys at the warehouse
were on our payroll right because we had a thing
with them, and then we split the profits with them.
So the security, the chief of security. It was a
big retail outlet. So the chief of security really liked
the Dukey and I. We used to talk every day
and you know, make him laugh whatever. But he called

(31:49):
us into the office one day and he said, you know,
I like you guys. I just want to let you
know I don't know what you're up to, but they're
onto you. She said the words, they're on you. And basically,
rather than fire us because he knew he could, he said,
I'm just going to suggest before everything hits the fan,

(32:12):
you guys should just walk away. And we had to
wear these like bright orange vests to work at the
floor there. So we took our vests and left. And
I've never heard another thing, but I'm telling you that
big he cut us probably the biggest break of my
life because it was big doings there.

Speaker 7 (32:33):
Hi.

Speaker 12 (32:35):
I was a regional for a retailer and I once
had to terminate two people for having sex in the
stock room, which was bad enough, except what was even
worse is that they were cousins.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Books and cousins. Oh my god. Yeah, it's going to
be good one. It's a Friday. Don't forget. We want
nothing but juice. We want good stories. Its topic time
is coming up six one seven nine three one one eight.
What's the craziest way you've fired someone or what's the
craziest way you have been fired?

Speaker 6 (33:13):
How do they get to the talkback? Justin you can
tell your story anonymously. We encourage that. Yeah, iHeartRadio app
the talkback feature. Look for that little red microphone, hit
the button and you know, say hey, hey, cause now.

Speaker 8 (33:26):
It's topic time with the Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
And the topic this Friday show happens to be craziest
Ways You've been fired or if you're in HR. We
have a lot of people listening from HR. If you've
had crazy ways you've fired people. By the way, there
is an open line if you want to give us
a call at six one, seven nine. Oh wait, justin
Let's go with the talk back.

Speaker 6 (33:46):
You know, let's start with the hip person where this
came from. All good reasons. The craziest reason she's fired people.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
First guy was.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
Napping in his car from ten am till almost one
every single day.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
He had been doing this.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
For like four months straight. But I ended up firing
him by knocking on his door because we were trying
to find him and he was a wall and he
opened the door and he was so shocked and you
could not believe that he was getting fired for sleeping
three hours every single day. An employee had just gotten
a verbal warning, so not even written anything about stealing
company supplies because he was loading cases of toilet paper
into his vehicle. He got really upset and went straight

(34:19):
into we had this big glass meeting room where all
the execs for meeting turned around, dropped his pants and
stuck his butt against the window.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
Okay, okay, and was probably surprised they fired. That's the
part that fascinates me. When you don't get why you
were fired. Oh, I don't know. You were sleeping three
hours every day.

Speaker 6 (34:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (34:39):
I love this topic.

Speaker 19 (34:40):
It always reminds me of that movie with the scene
with the guy who's I think he's getting fired and
he says you fu fu, you're cool and f you.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
I just think that is one of the best scenes
in comedy movies ever.

Speaker 6 (35:00):
Yeah, what movie was that? That was half baked? It's
Dave Chapelle movie. He's not the one that said it, though,
you you you, you're cool.

Speaker 9 (35:11):
You im out.

Speaker 7 (35:14):
I fired from a major department store. I was security
stock and I found an empty box hidden deep in
the stock room. So I took the box and I
put a sticky note on it with WTF and brought
it into the security room to investigate at a later

(35:35):
time on security camera. A few days later, they fired
me saying that I was writing swears in the stock room.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
Well technically she was technically WTF.

Speaker 6 (35:48):
Yeah, yeah, I guess just let it go. Yeah, good morning.

Speaker 20 (35:54):
I teach a couple of local colleges in the area,
and I had a colleague who was fired because he
also taught at to colleges but at the same time,
so he was calling in sick every other week to
each college because he had double booked himself.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
So, needless to say, he got fire. You know, that
happened a lot after COVID. People wouldn't go into their
regular job, but would get paid supposedly working from home.
But we're working another full time.

Speaker 2 (36:23):
While they were getting paid, they were starting other careers.

Speaker 6 (36:26):
That's illegal, I think, yeah, right, yeah, but they still
do it. Okay, let's go to Jennifer. She's in Weymouth,
wants to check in on the topic.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Good morning, Jennifer. What have you got for us? Were
you fired or did you fire someone?

Speaker 13 (36:39):
No?

Speaker 5 (36:39):
I would fight twice in one day.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
Oh good for you. Yeah, that's a surprise for the family.

Speaker 17 (36:48):
I mean I was young at the age and the
guy come in and we were all in the break
room and he said.

Speaker 5 (36:54):
You know what, what are you all doing?

Speaker 9 (36:56):
In here.

Speaker 5 (36:56):
The store opens in two minutes. We said, yes, we
have one minute left to get up there, and he goes,
you you're fighted. So I was like, okay, thank you.
So I went up and I said, said my manager.
I go, I'll come back in and I go.

Speaker 17 (37:10):
He ain't gonna remember, and she was like, no new.
So I went down and I demanded my paycheck because
I was told you could do that, And then I
was waiting for them to give me my final paycheck.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
And he comes back and he goes, what are you.

Speaker 4 (37:23):
Doing in here?

Speaker 5 (37:24):
I go, I'm waiting for my final paycheck. He goes,
you're fired. I go, you already fighted me.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Good morning too.

Speaker 13 (37:37):
I worked in HR for a while and we employed
a lot of high schoolers and early college students, and
we dealt with a lot of faving and we usage
on property a lot of times, so we fired quite
a few people for that, which I feel like, isn't
that uncommon? But not great when you're working with kids.

Speaker 4 (38:00):
When she'd say vaping, vaping.

Speaker 6 (38:02):
Vaping and weed, yeah, I'll usually get you fired every time.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
Yeah, yeah, half baked on the job.

Speaker 19 (38:10):
So I was a waitress and I came in in
the morning to do buying prep work before opening.

Speaker 14 (38:17):
I'm hungover, I've burned out, I don't want to be there.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
I'm trying to think of any way I.

Speaker 5 (38:22):
Can get out of it, and you know, eternal.

Speaker 21 (38:25):
Talk to Uber and I just ran.

Speaker 11 (38:29):
I left.

Speaker 21 (38:30):
I ran out, ran to the parking lot, never to
be seen again.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
Wow, just took off. Didn't even bother telling them she
was quitting. Gone. But when you're young, you do crazy things.
You know, think about all the times you were going
to bed half baked or whatever, you had too much
to drink, and you're dreading, are going to work in
the morning, and you come up with some stupid, crazy excuse.

Speaker 6 (38:54):
Yeah, I feel like getting getting fired early on in life.
Though it's like not a so surprid but something you
most people go through when you learn from.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
The problem.

Speaker 6 (39:04):
Is when you when you get fired, like later on
in life, when you know better. Well, yeah, that's the issue.
Let's go to Marissa and he's Boston Line too.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
Hey Marissa, hello, good morning, how are you good? Give
us some good ones.

Speaker 8 (39:17):
So I worked in.

Speaker 21 (39:17):
Administration in HR and I had to fire an individual.
So when I would leave the office every single day,
this individual would go on to the computer and do
her personal business, order a concert ticket. You know, she
was applying for passes to go visit someone in prison.
I'm doing really crazy stuff. But the crazy thing was
was she was printing fake paystubs. You know, I see

(39:40):
our company name and printing them out from our letter head.
It was insane. And when I confronted her, you know,
I made sure it was at the end of the day,
but there were still people in the building. So on
her way out, she told everybody's dirty little secrets to everybody.

Speaker 5 (39:56):
In the office.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Oh yeah, she's Yeah.

Speaker 21 (40:01):
We had to call the police to have her escorted.

Speaker 4 (40:04):
Of course, she was printing counterfeit money.

Speaker 21 (40:06):
What was she doing, like, no, so she probably wanted
that she was making more money.

Speaker 4 (40:13):
Oh okay, I began.

Speaker 21 (40:15):
To take out a loan or something. You know, I
can take paste outs.

Speaker 4 (40:19):
Yeah wow, and she's fired. You don't hear much about
counterfeiting anymore.

Speaker 6 (40:25):
It's still happen. I'm sure it still happens.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
I always thought that was the I always thought that
was the coolest crime, making fitting counterfeiting money.

Speaker 6 (40:37):
Yeah, Carrie's big time though.

Speaker 7 (40:39):
Oh yeah, yeah, hey, guys.

Speaker 19 (40:41):
It's collar in Boston. So I got fired from Encore
Casino because I gave my coworker a birthday card, and
inside the birthday card, I wrote, have fun in Mexico,
don't get raped by a dolphin, because she said that
she wanted to swim with the dolphins. But then we
had this whole conversation about how dolphins raped people. Well,
my mina just saw the birthday card and he said
it triggered him and he brought my card up.

Speaker 12 (41:02):
To human resources and I got fired for the card.

Speaker 4 (41:05):
Oh wow, it was triggered by the card. I'm actually
kind of weird.

Speaker 6 (41:11):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know. Anyway, Thanks trying, trying, in everybody.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
Billy and Lisa all the Morning.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
I gotta tell you something justin We're going to have
an epic week on this billion Lisa Morning Show next week.

Speaker 6 (41:23):
It's crazy, we really are. First of all, Jay Shetty,
the legend on this show. We were talking about that
earlier this hour, and you know, recently he was asked
who his favorite interview was, and he's had so many,
but he said that Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez is
his favorite as of recent Excuse me, because of things
that Benny Blanco said about being in love with Selena.

Speaker 22 (41:45):
You know this right here, She's like the easiest person
in the world. But I know, yeah, she wants to
talk to me before she goes to bed. She wants
me to say I love you. She wants me to
text her if I wind up having to stay somewhere
two hours late. Just as simple, take out your phone
and done. We're very driven and you have to find
a way to make it work that's comfortable. You have

(42:06):
to talk to your partner, you have to understand them.
I think people's biggest problems, especially men, are that we
don't listen all the time.

Speaker 4 (42:15):
You got to listen.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
Just shut up and listen.

Speaker 4 (42:17):
Yeah, I gotta start listening.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
Yeah, it's got to be a good listener.

Speaker 6 (42:21):
That interview went super viral with some of the comments
that Bennie Blanco made really good. I like him a
lot too, So we'll be talking with him about that
about always in interviews and including that one with Selina
and Bennie. Also next week, we busted his chops for
a while about it your son, Chris Costa. He made
a promise to us.

Speaker 4 (42:40):
The Billy and Lisa Show will be the first broadcast
that Tom is on in the New England area.

Speaker 6 (42:45):
Yep, and he came through. Next week, Tom Brady, I'll
be on the Billy and Lisa Show.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
It's going to be a big I have to tell you.

Speaker 8 (42:52):
Can we skip the weekend since it's going to be
a washout anyway, and just come right back to work
to start the week Let's go, yeah, saying, And Juliana
from The Bachelor she's going to join us too. This
is insane.
