Speaker 1 (00:00):
Now best morning show in Boston, Billy and Lisa in
the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
It's just a great start to my day on Kids Runaways.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Wow, good morning everybody, and welcome into the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show. And today is Tuesday, just a few
days away from lover's holiday, which is coming up Friday,
Valentine's Day. Lisa Donovan, it is very cold out there
this morning, Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
And Billy's face is falling off.

Speaker 5 (00:30):
Yeah, I'm very dry.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
You know, I get up in the morning. I just
never think to put moisture eyeser on, and I know
on my own worst end of me. But yeah, my
whole face is falling off. Don't we have a dermatologist
coming in today?

Speaker 5 (00:41):
Thank god we do. Yeah, doctor Ruth is coming.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
This is perfect, just in time.

Speaker 5 (00:46):
You know what I love about doctor Ruth.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
She's one of the most accredited dermatologists in the country.
Harbor Train to the stars, dermatologists to the stars. And
yet she will encourage everybody, And this is what I
love about her. She'll encourage everybody to buy over the counter.
Don't spend all that money on this or that just
so you can get it over the counter cheaper.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Absolutely, who does that. Besides her, she gives good product tips.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
So it's cold out and we've got a dermatologist. Are
you feeling dry? Maybe she could have some recommendations for your.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Well Ruth twenty in the past, Yep, she has.

Speaker 6 (01:21):
Yeah, I take some of her recommendations for the over
the counter.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
Is it ezma I have?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah, I'm guessing she'll definitely have answers for your egzma. Yeah,
and anybody else out there having skin problem, skinish skin
issues at all.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I've taken so many pictures of this group and sent
them to her at like six o'clock in the morning.
It's kind of freakish, like your eye problems.

Speaker 7 (01:45):
She saved an issue and like just rashy picture and
she's okay with it.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Yeah, we're very rashy, and she immediately answers your picture.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
She does. Yeah. So anyway, what time has doctor Ruth
are joining us?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Seven fifteen, seven fifteen, And we also have Lisa son
Riley this morning? What time is he in to talk
about the Bachelor? Anything big happened on the Bachelor.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
So, yeah, there was a departure, like a scary departure,
and I have details on what happened.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
Scary, meaning they were chased off. Well, a girl.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Left unannounced and it has well do you want me
to she disappeared? No, there was a health issue. Oh
and she's not allowed back on the show because of it.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Oh, they explain what the health issue.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I'm not reality Steve.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I know I read Reality Steve and he thinks it's
an issue that happened last week during the basketball game.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Oh is it a it's not our girl? Is it?

Speaker 4 (02:43):
No, it's not our girl, Juliana Nope.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Is it an intimate thing?

Speaker 6 (02:47):
Like no, oh, that's where my head.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
Because like, why that really would be cool?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
I know, right, you know it's already something spreading on
the shop.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
She has like her person well, you know she's just.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Try dry dry.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
That could be the problem, just dryness.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah, all right, so Rodley, what time's Riley joining us?
And I've got a bone to pick with Lisa Dunovan
this morning. Why Lisa Dunovan convinced me that I should
see the movie Baby Girl with Nicole Kidman.

Speaker 7 (03:22):
Okay, Hi Baby Girl?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yeah no, no, I sleep all night.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I watched it this weekend too. I just thought, like,
what was the point of it?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
It was the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen. I
don't know why Nicole Kidman, she was so sex starved.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
I've never seen anything like it.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Yeah, she's better than this movie.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Crawling on all fours, let your.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Milk out of a bowl?

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Like, really, what's he said?

Speaker 3 (03:50):
This young guy that she's running on her husband with. Right,
An in turn has her crawling on all fours in
a hotel room and he puts a little dish of
milk on.

Speaker 6 (04:00):
So basically, if you haven't seen the movie or won't
not see the movie, it's like he is.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
She's submissive to he's dominating her. Yeah, this company and
she's like a big executive. And I have to tell
you the guy he wasn't even that cute.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
No, And meanwhile, she's married to Antonio Benderos, And it
took me ten minutes to realize. I kept saying, I
know him, I know him.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
He was my favorite part of the movie.

Speaker 6 (04:23):
Me too, I love him.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Right, And they weren't having really good sex.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
They were until she told him that they weren't.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
You know, at least, it's interesting that you say that
because there's this sex worker. I follow on on TikTok
because it's legal in Australia, and she said that a
lot of her clients that are high powerful men like
to be disrespected in the bedroom because they're always the
one calling the shots and like having this power move,
so they like to switch it in the bedroom, like

(04:51):
where She's like, they asking for some weird things because
that's what they're into.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
But it really freaked me out because she had a
very happy family life and was an extremely successful executive
in the movie and she was running.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
So what did I leave with? Up all night convinced
my wife is running in Africa. She will never forgive
Nicole Kidman for this.

Speaker 8 (05:14):
I care.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
No, I didn't sleep a wink. I'm like, oh my god,
she's running.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
No, I don't think so.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
I don't think so. She's running with giraffes. Yeah in Africa.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
That's what she wants you to think. I don't know.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
You kno get him. He's really worked on business. Things
are fine.

Speaker 9 (05:32):
I know.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I really don't think she's on all fours like licking
milk out. Oh my god, I don't think so.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
It's okay. She's home doing it's.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Come after you her hands and knees, Like I'm just kidding.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
It's what we do on the billion this morning show me.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Just how did they even allow us on WBZ every morning?

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Did they know who they're dealing with?

Speaker 8 (06:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
I was on Kiss one to wait every morning.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
That's another good question.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
By the way, Lisa and I will be on WBZ
TV in a little bit right before seven o'clock every morning,
right six fifty five, and entertainment is coming up. We've
got some super Bowl after facts, okay, And and Sizza
is going to tell us what she thinks about Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 5 (06:20):
She loves this guy that's up next standing by.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
From the Planet Fitness Kiss one o eight Studio. We're
back with Villy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Okay, justin, let's reach out and touch the talkback mafia.

Speaker 8 (06:34):
Why not?

Speaker 7 (06:35):
Yeah, if you never heard your voice on the radio,
you can be a part of the Billy and Lisa's show.
You do that via the talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app,
which is free to download. You tap that red microphone
you're listening to us live, and you leave your message
and Bill, what was the movie you watched last night
where you think your wife's cheating?

Speaker 5 (06:51):
Baby Girl? Girl.

Speaker 10 (06:52):
I'm laughing because you guys are talking.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
About baby Girl. I was alone this weekend, so I thought,
now's my chance to watch it. And at the end
of it, I was.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Just like what And I think Nicole Kidman was.

Speaker 10 (07:04):
Nominated for an award for that performance and everything it was.
It was just a nothing movie.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
I agree, it was so unnecessary.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
I'm gonna watch it, though.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
I gotta tell you something. I know it's only a movie, right,
it's make believe. But I left feeling very bad for
Antonio Benderos. He was such a nice guy.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Her husband, he was, and he was trying to be giving.
She's kind of messed up.

Speaker 6 (07:31):
Was he giving?

Speaker 5 (07:32):
He was a giver?

Speaker 11 (07:33):
Try?

Speaker 6 (07:33):
Oh she is she a giver?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Because there was not. There was no giving enough for her, Like.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Just she had weird needs.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Oh my god, I'm still freaking.

Speaker 7 (07:46):
Out weird Like yeah, Bill Billy comes in, didn't sleep
a wink all night think and that his wife Michelle
is cheating on him.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Well, it didn't help that she's in a different country
right now, right.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
No who and you know what they say.

Speaker 10 (07:59):
It's cheating when you're in a different area code, not
to mention a different state.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Now the entertainment update with the Billy Codsta not to
mention a different country.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
I know she's not cheating, She's just hanging out with
someone else.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Oh God, Anyway, here we go.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
The Super Bowl Sunday night had it's the largest audience ever,
one hundred and twenty six million people across platforms, all platforms.
That's an all time record. Spotify streams for Kendrick Lamar's
song not Like Us jumping four hundred and thirty percent.
Of the next morning, Kendrick's overall catalog jumped one hundred

(08:36):
and seventy five percent, and Siza talks about how she
prepared for the halftime show with Kendrick Lamar, and she's
praising Kendrick Lamar.

Speaker 12 (08:44):
He just bestowed a lot of grace on me and
shared a lot of his grace well that he was
born with. I feel like he bestows it on everybody
and on everything he touches, and I'm just grateful. I
don't know why he's allowed me to, like, you know,
get some shine with him over these years, and I

(09:07):
just feel like he's just immaculate, Like he's a genius, immaculate.

Speaker 7 (09:12):
There's a natractive I watched the performance last night again
and I love it even more. I thought it was masterful.
I understand why people don't like it. I mean, we
talked all about that, but watching it again and catching
all the little details of it, I thought it was
a great performance.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
I definitely watch it again.

Speaker 6 (09:30):
It's interesting you say that, justin I found myself yesterday
watching every time I came up all my social media,
I stopped and watched the clip. And I've never been
this mesmerized by a halftime performance. After it happened that
I have to keep like going in and looking for
like more Easter eggs, and like, this is the type
of performance. Well, you don't love it right now, but you'll,
I think you'll appreciate it in like ten years when

(09:51):
we're talking about definitely type of performances.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
And respect it.

Speaker 7 (09:55):
Yeah, And all I see is anger online fin you
I know, sitting on their couch hating on.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
The halftime show. That's okay.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
You know a lot of anger from Chiefs fans too.
Patrick Mahomes took the social yesterday apologizing to fans for
his awful performance.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
You've got it right there right.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Now, he says.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
Appreciate all the love and support from Chiefs Kingdom. I
let y'all down today. I always continue to work and
try and learn and be better for it. Want to
give thanks to God for every opportunity he has given me.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
We will be.

Speaker 6 (10:26):
Back, Oh they will.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
I'm sure they will be absolutely apologize y'all.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Yeah, I let y'all down.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Chiefs fans, I mean Eagles fans celebrated the Super Bowl
by trashing the city. And you know that's what you
do when your team wins, just trash the city. Hopefully
they can put it back together in time for the
parade Friday.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
They win, they trash the city. They lose, they trash it.
Don't get it.

Speaker 6 (10:53):
I never have. I never get it.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
What did that lighthole do to you?

Speaker 9 (10:57):
Right?

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Like nothing, I've never understood it. The anger and the
destruction whether you win or lose.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Right, broken windows, setting fires, Yeah, yeah, I don't get it.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
By the way, go birds fly, he goes fly. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
And Kimmel does a fun thing on his show. It's
a segment called lie Witness News last night. It was
a segment on the Tom Brady Snoop thing that ran
during the Super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Here, what are your.

Speaker 13 (11:24):
Thoughts on the ad where Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady
were yelling that they hated each other and then at
the end realized they have more in common and just
sucked on each other's fingers for about a minute.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
It was all right.

Speaker 14 (11:37):
It definitely got their message out there, and I think
that's what needed to do.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
What was the message, I'm not exactly sure.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
I love that segment he does.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
It was about combating anti Semitism. That was the message.
By the way, Pass and the SNL fiftieth Anniversary special
will air this coming Sunday night.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Sign Up for the show is.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Massive, Adam Driver, iowe Ittbury, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, Kim Kardashian,
Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Peyton Manning, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson,
all of them, by the way, expected to be live
in the studio. Also a lot of past cast members
as well. It's going to air Sunday night, a three

(12:23):
hour show starting at eight o'clock, so it's live on
front there. Yeah, wow, eight o'clock, three hours. Also Sunday Night,
the new season of The White Lotus Can't Wait. This
time it takes place in Thailand and the long delayed
season three of Euphoria. We all watched that, right, Euphoria?

Speaker 4 (12:44):
I never saw it.

Speaker 5 (12:45):
At least you got to catch up. Yeah, it's fantastic.
I would love the show.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Least, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
I've got teenagers, and this is about teenagers behaving badly.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
That's maybe why I never watched it.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Might not like the show. That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
It's kind of my win my wheelhouse.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Right now, I'm going to say it all costs day
away from it?

Speaker 6 (13:04):
Okay, Johnson's version of high school. At least the majority
of us didn't experience what's going on.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
On you for in high school?

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Man?

Speaker 5 (13:13):
Some of the stuff, Oh brings back memories? Oh, I'll
bet it does.

Speaker 11 (13:17):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Ed Sharon did an impromptu street performance in India. Officials
jumped in and shut it down immediately, saying Sharon didn't
have a permit. We've got some sound police found but
we'll see, Like, yeah, they jumped and started pulling plugs
and all the equipment and everything. Sharon is insisting he
did have the permit, but apparently local police did not realize.

Speaker 6 (13:41):
Like Ed Sharon, I know, so I've never been to India,
but every picture you see it's like crowded and there's
like these treatments. I feel like they might not have permits.
Did you check their permits?

Speaker 8 (13:53):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (13:53):
I saw the video recently of India and yeah, I
don't know the markets.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
Oh man, who about those permits?

Speaker 6 (14:01):
Yeah, and Sharon singing.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
So Rema is kicking off a world tour. He's going
to bring it to MGM Music Hall right here in Boston.
May sixth. He had that massive song Calm Down with
Selena Gomez and Selena Gomes still not completely sure if
she wants to come back to music.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
Oh, is it not there, Winnie? We have a little
glitch hair bill. Oh, there's a glitch show. We got it? Well,
guess what it just appeared.

Speaker 9 (14:25):
I'm ready to just focus on this for a while,
film and art making and being around such incredible talented
people that have done nothing but uplift me along the way.
I don't know, it's going to be very hard for
me to ever go back to music after this.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Yeah, this meeting Amelia Perez, she also has only murders
in the building. Wasn't she nominated for something with Amelia Perez? Yeah,
and our buddy Joey McIntyre New Kids on the Block
launching a solo album. He dropped the first single this week.
It's called Freedom.

Speaker 5 (14:57):

one o'clock Tuesday afternoon.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
He loves you, my buddy, Billy Costa.

Speaker 6 (16:05):

Speaker 7 (16:08):
We went to the garden and saw the new kids.
And then the next morning, Joey left his hotel on
his bike and drove his bike to Billy's boat was
hanging out.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
That's where I got this from my buddy, Billy Costa.
We had a little coffee.

Speaker 3 (16:23):

a book signing tonight. You know I've got that cookbook taste.

Speaker 5 (16:28):

a shout out to Dine and Playbook. They had a
contest with your book. Get to submit a picture of
your book, and I had a picture of Emma hold
in the book and also trying to eat it.

Speaker 6 (16:47):
She doesn't get the concept.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
They supposed to make the recipes and.

Speaker 11 (16:50):
The book and we won an overnight stay at the
Lenox Hotel one night.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
Up from Mom and Dad. Okay, wow, Loft that statement
back Bill, Winnie.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
That's funny because book called Courtney. She's our first book
club baby.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
She she is the first book club baby. So that's exciting.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
She mentioned the Lennox Hotel. They're actually selling the book
in the lobby. You know, they've got those bookcases in
the lobby of the hotel. And by the way, Winnie,
the book signing tonight at the Quinn Lease, the famous
Quinn in Boston sold out.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
Okay, you want to make another.

Speaker 6 (17:22):
Crack the whole like ten, you know, you get put
out ten tickets to make sure it's sold out.

Speaker 7 (17:27):
It doesn't matter, it's sold out. All you got to
say is when he where's your book?

Speaker 5 (17:30):

Speaker 8 (17:33):
What cost?

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Way?

Speaker 5 (17:33):
Do you have a book?

Speaker 6 (17:34):
I'm going to write it myself.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
How do we talk about books? Ellen Hill tomorrow?

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Oh that's falling.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
In at nine tomorrow. Yeah, she's of events.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
Now that's an author.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Well, Lisa and I are readers. Okay, so when he's
gonna she's going to write a book. If they ask me,
I could write a book. Be you who won the
bean pot last night?

Speaker 3 (17:59):
They beat see Celtics beat the heat in Miami last night,
And we're brought to you by Dover Rug. Now there's
an art to fitting carpenting carpeting along a staircase or
a curved wall, cutting and binding it perfectly. You know,
you've got to talk to my my buddy Hassen over
at to Dover Rug. It's not just the material, it's
the tailor, Dover Rug. You'll find them in Natick Boston,

(18:22):
Burlington and online at doverrug dot com. And again if
you go in there, ask for Hassen and there you go.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
If they.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Ryan from the Planet Fitness Kiss one Away Studios. We're
back with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Okay, let's go right to the phones because Lisa Dunovan's
fourteen year old son, Riley Dunovan, is our correspondent for
the show The Bachelor.

Speaker 10 (18:51):
Right, that was a bloodbath last night.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
They had a.

Speaker 16 (18:55):
Really douchey rose ceremony, majorly.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
Douche just there for the Graham and Riley.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
I understand from your mom there was a medical emergency
on the show last night, go.

Speaker 10 (19:10):
Uz, and you know there was a lot of there
was a lot of issues in the show last night,
a lot of drama. More like you think it's a
romance show, and then they like cut out the romance
and they just have the drama there.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
That's actually a really interesting statement.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
You're right about.

Speaker 10 (19:28):
That's what's different about the regular seasons than the Golden season.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
So what was the medical emergency?

Speaker 10 (19:35):
So it was very abrupt, so one of the women,
So she was actually supposed to go on a one
on one date with Grant and all of a sudden,
the next morning she's pulled from the show.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yeah, she wasn't there. Her name's Beverly or Tega.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
Was she contagious?

Speaker 10 (19:53):
No, who knows, But I don't think it was like
COVID or like like a disease. She might have had,
like something like more are serious like she did.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Actually she had like a breathing problem during the basketball
game from last week. Oh and I guess yeah reality Steve,
that's what he's saying. So supposedly it's a medical issue,
and and she's not on the show anymore.

Speaker 5 (20:15):
Wow, just like that gone.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Yeah, imagine how hard she worked to get there. I
know what else happened though, RAI.

Speaker 10 (20:22):
So there's a lot of crying last night, like I said,
with the drama. So we walk in and one of
the one of the ladies tell Zoe her dress is
too short. Now, that's a depth to those girls. If
you tell her your dress is too short, you're done.
You're just done. So that was a big perfuffle. And
then everyone the next morning is the craziest. Car is

(20:44):
just crying, not even the girl who's dressed it's too short.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Yeah. Did you just use the word cutfuffle?

Speaker 10 (20:54):
Yeah? I did.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
Okay, like in a sentence that was impressive. Yeah, okay.

Speaker 10 (20:58):
All the girls were crying, and you know, I'm just like, oh,
there's spray tanzu.

Speaker 8 (21:02):
No no, no, no, no, no, it's not going to be good.

Speaker 10 (21:04):
Because they're all crying and they're all just like bawling
their eyes out.

Speaker 5 (21:08):
Wow, what's everybody so upset about? Lisa?

Speaker 8 (21:13):
Guess?

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah, and Zoe is just kind of the villain, so
they're coming after Wow.

Speaker 10 (21:18):
Well, I mean there's like there's two sides, and there's
like the villain, and then the villain's kind of like
got some allies and there's the rest of the girls.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
So it's like you said, the romance is gone. It's
all drama, and yet it's a romantic show.

Speaker 10 (21:35):
Oh and then Rose wanted to cause drama last night
because she told Carolina that when Grant and Carolina and
when Grant and Rose were dancing, he told Grant told
Rose that when Grant was dancing with Carolina, he was
thinking about her.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Oh oh there's a twist that's messy.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Yeah, So do you have a new favorite this week?

Speaker 10 (22:01):
Well, you know, I'm still I actually was really impressed
with Latia last night. They went on a since Beverly left,
they went on a three person day, three women, and
then Grant and Latilla got awarded like a like a
dinner after the date, so they got to go to
the dinner. They talked and it was great. So I

(22:21):
she caught my last night, Latia and she was good.
I'm continuing to pick her. I'm continuing to pick Juliana.
She's steady, she's good.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
Now, what did Juliana? She's the local one, right, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
She didn't really get a whole lot of time last.

Speaker 10 (22:34):
Night's not getting too much time, but I think that
that's going to change. Her reminds me of Gabby in
Zach season from Vermont. She didn't get any time, but
she rode her way up to second place. I know,
I'm thinking of this like a game show. But it's
it's it's yeah. But then and then I think Zoe too,

(22:54):
because I think that they have a good connection regardless
of what the other women say or I think about that.

Speaker 5 (22:59):
How many were sent home last night? Four?

Speaker 10 (23:01):
There were three?

Speaker 2 (23:03):
I thought it was including Beverly Beverly.

Speaker 10 (23:06):
So he sent home three. He sent home Bailey, Ali,
Joe and Chloe.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Yeah, and then Beverly Beverly.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
So how many are left?

Speaker 10 (23:17):
Let's see, I think we have probably ten or eleven.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Left now, and your favorites are Latia, Juliana, and Zoe. Yes, okay,
And that wraps it up for this week. Thanks Riley
Medical Emergency. I was thinking it was something more dramatically.

Speaker 4 (23:33):
I know, you know it is a dating show, right,
I found something out.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Well, worry you know what that would have been.

Speaker 10 (23:40):
That was a big.

Speaker 7 (23:44):
Dermatologists to the Stars ruth to Daldi is coming into
the studio to take your questions, get some skin issues.

Speaker 5 (23:51):
She gonna help mixt kiss one O eight. Hey guys,
so welcome back.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
Every once in a while we like to have our
friend doctor Ruthie Dermatologist to the Stars in studio with us.
I mean, when you've got a dermatologist as a friend.
You want to keep her close. You want to keep
her close. You weren't here two minutes, and you solve
three of my problems.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
But he's he's got dry scalp.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
Yeah, dry scalp. And it's all taken care of. Now.
It's the product I'm using.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Anyway, if you've got questions for doctor Ruth six one, seven,
nine three, justin.

Speaker 7 (24:20):
They can send you talk back questions too. Right, you
can ask you a question right through your phone. It's
that easy. It's twenty twenty five on the iHeart app.
Just tap that red microphone canvass this. And before we
get to our own problems, we've got a few people.
We have questions about Lisha.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
You want to store.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
Well, we're going to start with the super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
So a lot of people are questioning two celebrity faces
and they happen to be men, Tom Cruise and Tom Brady.
So let's start there. What's going on with Brady's face?

Speaker 15 (24:47):
Well, it was kind of sad looking at him to
me because it just showed how he's aging as we
all are. Okay, that's not sad to me, but I
think that some of the things he's done cosmetically are
a little jarring, shall we say, yeah, And so we
tried to figure it out in my office yesterday because
I swear everybody came in and ask about everybody.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Now we're talking about a beautiful man. He was beautiful
before anything, but I'm very impressed. I don't know what
he did with his hair, but he was thinning on
top and now he's got the thickest, most beautiful head
of hair.

Speaker 15 (25:25):
Well, he had hair transplants. And so that's something that's
so common and really common in other more even more
common in other countries. I mean people go to the
capitals of the world, Turkey and Brazil, where it's very commonplace.
It's like having your teeth cleaned. And we have sessions,
usually two or three sessions, where they do split poor hair.

(25:48):
They take single hairs out of an area, usually in
the back of the head, and they place them in
the front.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
They just pluck hair.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Stay painful.

Speaker 15 (25:57):
It's not painful, it's long, it's a little bit tedious,
but it does work.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
Oh, it's beautiful and he has.

Speaker 15 (26:04):
But then you have to realize that once you have
hair thinning, that the area around the area that has
then received the transplant is also going to thin, so
you kind of get caught up.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
So it's constant.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
It's constant.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
Now when he turns to.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
The side, I can't help but think there's like a
protrusion of his jaw or something.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
What's going on there.

Speaker 15 (26:25):
Take a look at his teeth when he first started
to play football, and take a look at his teeth now.
People don't realize. You know, in my practice, people come
in to have their lips augmented on an hourly basis, right,
And one of the most important things you have to
look at before you do lip injections are teeth, because
teeth is what you know. Your teeth give you that

(26:46):
projection structure. You're starting to put filler in, and there's
a problem with teeth, then you're just going to overfill
the lip and it's never going to look right. He
had hasband years, I guess, and this is all conjecture, and.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
That's what I wow.

Speaker 15 (27:02):
And it's really just made his upper lip and his
lower lip quite full. You might even say a little
too full.

Speaker 5 (27:11):
But again he's still beautiful. And I know that must
sound weird, but it's beautiful striking.

Speaker 15 (27:18):
And then you can see the mid face loss of
volume and so what happens is then they inject volume,
and to my eye, it was a bit feminized. I
didn't think it was as masculine as it should be.
There are very important ways to distinguish between male female,
and I'm not saying that in terms of gender.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
I'm just saying it looks kind of doll like.

Speaker 12 (27:39):
Yeah it did.

Speaker 5 (27:39):
Oh that's what it is, doll like.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
Okay, at least I wants to know about Tom Cruise.
His face is really strange.

Speaker 15 (27:47):
Well, I just think he's had too much work. And
I think that's usually what happens, is that when you
do a little bit, it's great, and when you do
a little bit more, it's not so great.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
That's just the way it is.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
And what's going on with Nicole Kidman, we both I
just watched Baby Girl last night. I've not seen it yet.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
She needs to stop.

Speaker 15 (28:06):
But I watched her in something else that I actually like,
the Perfect Couple. I watched her in the Couple in
the series, the series where she is a spy and.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
Oh the Lioness A very good show.

Speaker 15 (28:19):
Yeah, very good show. But I mean it's so sad
because again, another incredibly beautiful woman and she just her
face doesn't move. It just doesn't move.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
Wow, keep going, Bill, Okay, keep going. He's still beautiful.
Come on that.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
But you know, well he's a really good friend of
my son Chris. So I don't want to go carried
away out.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
Oh they've met like three times and now very good.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
You saw them hugging it out at the Super Bowl.
Doctor Ruth is going to hang out. Why because we're
coming up on topic time. I'm sure you've got questions
for doctor Ruth. Six ate Justin again the talkback.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
How do they go there?

Speaker 7 (29:02):
You got to act quickly. There are already a ton
of so make sure they're good and you use the
talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (29:09):
The doctor is in and the topic time is next.

Speaker 4 (29:13):
Now it's topic time with Billy and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Yeah, we've got doctor Ruth, the dermatologists of the stars.
And Justin just said to me off the area, he said,
this is amazing. This is the most talkbacks and calls
we've ever gotten on any topic. When Doctor Ruth is in,
people go nuts.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
So we're going to go to the phones. First.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
Erica's checking in from Boston. Erica, you're talking to doctor Ruth.
What's your question?

Speaker 17 (29:37):
Hi, dost Ruth.

Speaker 16 (29:38):
I'm a nurse and I have to wash my hands
with looking into bacteria like a handshand sizer before and
after touching anything or going into patient's room, and then
for other means too, and my handskinted really dry and
cracks in the winter, and then the hand sanitizer really burns.

(30:02):
I wonder if you had any suggestions and anything I
can do other than like what I've been doing with
moisturizers and things like that.

Speaker 15 (30:10):
Well, one of the things is do you are you
putting gloves on all the time as well all the time? Yeah,
and so are you careful about that they're latex free?
Just because even if you're not allergic, you can be
sensitized once your fingers, your hands, your skin has little
micro pores. It's just entry point and sometimes you will

(30:31):
become allergic. But what I would tell you is when
you get home, you're gonna have to do double duty,
because what's really helpful is to take whole milk and
water and soak your hands. Soak them just in whole
milk and water, and then you want to lower their
lather lather something I wouldn't use aquafor because aquapor has
lanolin in it, and sometimes you can also get sensitized

(30:53):
to lanilin. But I would use plain old fashioned vasoline
and I would mix that with a little Sarah or
set a phill something or Vanny cream which is really hypollergenic,
and just make it thick and boopy. Soak your hands
and then lather than them up and then put a
pair of cotton gloves on. If you do that for

(31:15):
an hour, when you get home, you will repair all
of the work because you're you're going to have to
wash your hands all the time.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
I mean, that's just the way it is.

Speaker 15 (31:23):
But I would carry a little tube of Vanny cream
with you in your in your pocket, and I would
consistently every time you have to go through the wash
and the sanitizing, put the Vanny cream on you get home.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
So well, there you go ask and answered. Thank you
for the call, and thank you for your service. By
the way, and now let's go to Karen and checking
in from Woolburn. Karen, you're talking to doctor Ruth.

Speaker 14 (31:46):
Go ahead, Hi, good mining doctor Ruth. Hello, hell you,
So I have a question. I do see dermatologists and
I get these little bumps. They tell me they're called cysts,
and they tell me there's nothing I can do them.
They're kind of like pimples, but they never come to
a head. It's just like a bump of like don't know,
dead skin or something.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
And where are they located?

Speaker 14 (32:08):
So I had one on my back, I have two
on my chest, and then I had one kind of
like in my chin line, like like around my face.

Speaker 15 (32:18):
Well, if they are I would tell you I should
think about using a retinoid. You don't have to necessarily
use a retinyl, a thretonoan or retinoic acid, but you
could just get over the counter retinal and try to
evacuate the contents of the cyst if that's.

Speaker 5 (32:35):
What they are.

Speaker 15 (32:36):
If it's a closed skin on top, nothing's going to
help except removing them or doing what's called an incision
and drainage.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Now, is the word evacuate a nice word for squeeze it? Yeah,
the job.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
Let's go to Bob.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Bob's calling from low Good morning, Bob, You've got doctor Ruth.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Go ahead.

Speaker 8 (32:55):
Hey, good morning all, big fan of the show, big
fan of Doctor Ruth. I'm calling because I'm sixty three
years old and I am battling with roseesia. I've currently
been seeing a dermatologist who's put me on an antibiotic,
and also I have alectin cream, but it just doesn't
seem to be doing the trick. I was wondering if
you had any advice.

Speaker 15 (33:13):
Well, first of all, it's so common, so you are
in very good company. It's one of the most common
things we treat. And I'm sure you've gone through all
of the triggers for roseesia, which could be anything. It
could be a spicy meal, it could be, you know,
a hot shower. I would avoid hot showers. People love
hot showers, especially when they have in flame skin, so
drying and it's so bad for you. But there are

(33:36):
definitely lots of Have you used products with niacinemai That's
what I find to be the most helpful, and I niacinamide.
I would definitely tell you to look for products with
it's a vitamin B derivative. And then have you ever
tried lasers? Because lasers are amazing for roseaesia. It takes
a few treatments. You have not so I would go

(33:57):
to someone who has a vascular laser. Not all lasers
are created equal, and you really want to be careful
about which laser treatments you have. My guess is your
dermatologist does have something like that, and don't think it's
gonna happen like etch a sketch one and done. It's
a repeat, repeat treatments, but it's very successful that with

(34:19):
NYA cinamide. And guess what else I'm gonna say.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
Sunscreen, sunscreen, Bob, sunscreen, Thanks for listening.

Speaker 5 (34:27):
Thanks for the call, Bob.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
Let's get a couple of quick talkbacks if it's okay,
because Justin said he has a record number of them.

Speaker 5 (34:33):
Go ahead, Justin.

Speaker 18 (34:34):
I heard you have doctor Ruth Tidaldi on today, which
is awesome.

Speaker 6 (34:38):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
I love when you have her on.

Speaker 18 (34:40):
But I was wondering if you could ask her about
eyes because I don't know what to use around my eyes,
whether it's serums or lotions, and I'm so nervous about
using anything close to my eyes because I don't know.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
I'm just afraid I'll do something bad.

Speaker 18 (34:55):
But yeah, I really appreciate you having her on because
I feel like I can trust her. She's an actual
so unlike what we're getting on the internet.

Speaker 15 (35:04):
Question though, about the eyes, No, it is a good question.
First and foremost, make sure you protect them really well.
Your sunglasses shouldn't just be flat, they should actually have
some curve, so you're really protecting the area that you're
talking about, which are your crows feet in the area
under your skin. So yes, I think that really being protective,
using a good mineral sunscreen under the sunglasses is really

(35:27):
It's more important than anything else I'm going to tell you,
but I will tell you some other things. I Creams
are important, and I think that this is the thinnest
skin of your body, and so you want to use
something that has what we call an active It can
be anything from something as mild as again niacinamide or
growth factors. It doesn't truly matter whether it's a serum

(35:48):
or a cream. People get all wrapped up in serums.
I don't know how that happened, but that just describes
the consistency. You know, a serum is really lighter, and
I think that actually around the eye, you're better off
with a creamer anointment because it's more adherent and exclusive
and you really want to keep the moisture around your
on the skin around your eye in.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Is there something over the counter that you can get
at your local drugstore a good I cream that you
can recommend.

Speaker 4 (36:14):
Absolutely.

Speaker 15 (36:15):
Laroche Pose, which is in almost all CBS stores, has
an amazing I cream Perfect Thank.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
You Great Pose. Yeah, just on another talk.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Back, My question is what should the average person do
daily for their skin. You know, there's so much stuff
out there of twelve steps that they should be doing
for their skin, and it's a bit overwhelming. So keeping
it simple, what are the basics and what should people
be doing every day?

Speaker 15 (36:45):
It's very very easy. You should wash your face gently.
You don't need to use something abrasive in the morning.
You should use an antioxidant and there are many that
you can buy over the counter. Vitamin C is the
most common one. But your damage is caused eighty percent
of your damages from the sun. Twenty percent is from
what we call oxidative stress. That means pollution, the ozone cigarette, smoke,

(37:09):
your infrared, your visible light, your cell phone, your computer,
and all of that is just basically contributing to oxidative stress.
That's where you need your antioxidant. Vitamin C VH is
a great one that's at CBS. And then you should
put on a moisturizer a gentle moisturizer, and you should
put a sunscreen on. That's simple. Three steps at night,

(37:31):
you should wash your face again. If you've done what
I've asked you to do and you have sunscreen, a
mineral sunscreen on, that's when you want to use something
that might have a little more exfoliative property, but not always.
And then you want to use a retinoid, and that
would suggest that you use rock. You start with rock
that is at CBS, which is a retinol retinals converted

(37:52):
to retinoic acid in your skin, and then you put
a moisturizer on.

Speaker 6 (37:55):
Pretty good.

Speaker 4 (37:56):
Two steps at night.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
All right, Andrew has been on hold for a while.
We get somebody called so many talk packs. Let's go
to Andrea next from Sureborn. Andrea, you're talking to doctor Ruth.

Speaker 5 (38:05):
Go ahead, Hi, I'm just.

Speaker 19 (38:08):
My skin gets really dry and just like that, the
barrier gets disrupted in the winter, and I'm just wondering
if you have recommendations for I have allergies to a
lot of kind of chemical things sitting recommendations for what
you can do about your skin barrier in the winter.

Speaker 15 (38:26):
Yes, get out of the hot shower, soak in a tub.
Most people don't do that, but think about it. The
hot shower feels so good on dry skin because it's itchy,
but you have a lot of evaporative heat loss and
it just complicates the problem. Soak in a tub, put
a little bit of milk in your tub. When you
get out of the tub. You basically want to use
something like lip a car which is again by laroche pose.

(38:50):
There are also wonderful, wonderful, just really emmullient products at CBS,
at Walgreens that will just seal the water in. Look
for products containing highly r on acid, which is very hydrating,
and as I said before, vanny cream is probably the
go to product for someone who is allergic.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
To many cream you can find at CBS. Okay, yes,
so you're saying that bathing in milk is like a
real than Cleopatra.

Speaker 5 (39:15):
Okay, whole milk.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
Whole milk.

Speaker 5 (39:18):
I need to drink some of it later.

Speaker 15 (39:20):
You can put a box of powdered milk. I used
to tell this to parents of young children with eggzem
keep a box of powdered milk under this sink. It's
just lactic acid and it's very hydrating and it doesn't
burn or anything like that. So a tub is wonderful,
soaking with no soap, just soaking the water.

Speaker 5 (39:39):
Justin you had your hand. I wanted Billy, how many
hot shours do you take a day? Two to three? Okay? Yeah,
is horribly dry? Hard. Yeah, it's just horribly dry. Let's
go to Andrea. Andrea, good morning. You've got doctor Ruth.
Go ahead.

Speaker 17 (39:54):
I I was wondering my three and a half. She's
got this coloration on its forehead and can that be
caused by like anemia or like a vitamin efficiency.

Speaker 15 (40:07):
Well, that's an interesting question. And I don't know what
the discoloration is, whether it's pink or brown. But if
you're telling me that lighter, it's lighter, oh.

Speaker 17 (40:17):
Yeah, lighter passion.

Speaker 4 (40:20):
So you should.

Speaker 15 (40:21):
Probably see a pediatric dermatologist because there are lots of
conditions nothing scary, but there are lots of conditions that
can cause lack of loss of pigment, and it's something
you want to know about earlier rather than later.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
WHOA, Okay, that's a good answer, talkback, Hi.

Speaker 20 (40:38):
Good morning. I just wanted to go about the dermatologist.
I want to know if she recommended micro any done
because I know it's like a trendy thing and it
can get rid of acney scars. I want to know
if she recommends it for acney scars, because it is
very expensive, so I want to know if it actually works.
All right, thank you.

Speaker 15 (40:58):
And that's a good question. It's a great question. In
my office, we actually have micro needling. And all of
my aestheticians are going to kill me if they're listening,
because what I'm going to say is, I'm not a
monster fan of micro needling. I think that you have
to be very specific about having it done. It can
actually hurt you if it's not done well and the

(41:20):
right person.

Speaker 5 (41:21):
And what is micro needling?

Speaker 15 (41:22):
They're little needles that actually go millimeters into the skin.
So it does create a little channel for putting product
on afterwards, it kind of gets into the skin, doesn't
really get that far into the skin because if you've
gone really far, you can cause bleeding and you definitely
don't want to do that. So it's not my favorite treatment,

(41:43):
to be honest with you. And I think it's very expensive.
And I know that the women in my office are spectacular,
but I think that there are too many people doing
it who don't really have enough experience, so it's not
my go to suggestion.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
You may want to take a couple of days off
before you back to the office.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
Lisa all the morning.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
Did you want to wrap up this hour? It got
a little crazy at times, Yeah, a little bit.

feature on the iHeart app. We would appreciate that number
one if you like our show and listen. The show
started with Billy and panic. He watched the movie last
night called Baby Girl, Baby Girl Nicole Kidman, and now

(42:31):
he thinks his wife is cheating on him in Africa.
He didn't sleep a wink last night. Now he's just
saying crazy stuff to me. He's still beautiful. I don't
know what's going on. She's not cheating.

Speaker 5 (42:42):

We love him because he reviews The Bachelor every single
week and right off the bat he coming in hot.

Speaker 10 (43:06):
There was a lot of issues in the show last night,
a lot of drama. You think it's a romance show
and then they like cut out the romance and they
just have the drama there.

Speaker 4 (43:15):
He's so on the spot on he really is.

Speaker 5 (43:19):

Speaker 10 (43:21):
One of the ladies tells Zoe her dress is too short.
Now that's a depth to those girls. If you tell
her your dress is too short, you're done.

Speaker 8 (43:30):

Speaker 10 (43:31):
