(00:00):
All right, here we go.Good morning everybody, well, you know,

(00:02):
maybe good afternoon, good night.Whenever you're listening to the After Show
podcast, welcome Justin Winnie. Andwe've been talking about it all week long.
It has finally come the day thatI get bro tx. Is it
botox or brotos one, Nurse Fiona? Is it brotox or botox? So
whatever it does you want it tobe, but we call it brotox visits
for the guys, so let's callit brotox. It's more calmon to me

(00:26):
when I say brotox. Yeah, you know what I mean. But that
voice you hear is the beautiful NurseFiona, who is in the building for
the podcast. Let's go to Billyand Lisa in the Morning present a behind
the scenes look into Boston's favorite morningshow. That's a little too much information,
say, guys the After Show podcast. Who here's Justin and Winny.

(00:49):
So Nurse Fiona, of course youhear that name all the time. I
feel like, you know, onthe commercials on Kiss Want to Wait,
and on the show as well.Nurse Fiona goes way back even with Billy.
Billy costa right, and when he'sbeen working closely with Nurse Fiona for
several months a year. I think, yeah, yeah, it feels like
it. I feel like we've beentogether forever. Yeah. So has Winnie
done every single thing that you offeryour spot? No, she offers so

(01:14):
much stuff and I I've never doneinjectables. Nope, it's not something that's
on my radar right now. Butshe has so many other amazing things I
do. I use weight loss medicinefrom her, which is like basically ozempic,
but we call it sem Yes.And then I do my hydrofacials,
which have been amazing. My skinis glowing. I use her products,
which your medical grade for my sensitiveskin. So I use her in other

(01:34):
ways. But you've done laser Ithink you've done the laser Genesis. I
did laser Genis. I'm gonna havedone so much stuff you've done skull.
I've done m sculpt. That wasgood, my butt plumper. Now my
girlfriend appreciates that. Everybody appreciates that. Yeah. And then and then when
when he knows that I'm in mywhat do you call it the self care?

(01:55):
Self care? Yeah, so Ishaved my entire body. And so
she mentioned to me that Nurse Fionadoes hair removal, and so she put
me on and I started my Idid my first treatment before the summer,
but then it got too hot. Can't be in the sun. So I'll
go back for that in September. You think when the summer is over,
even maybe October. I mean Septemberis beautiful here. Yeah, I love
it, and sometimes we got greatweather and you still want to go to
the beach or at your pool. When do you close your pool like mid

(02:19):
September? Do you really? Yeah, I'm really tan. I know I
see it, but you Peruvian.I am half Peruvian. Yeah, but
I spend a lot of time outsideand I do use sunblock. Do you
speak Spanish? Just so you know, I don't. Oh, you know,
I'm Argentinian. You are, Yeah, don't cry for me Argentina.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that'sall. So. Yeah. So I

(02:42):
did my first treatment there, andthen, you know, because of the
self care Era thing, when heknows that I've been wanting to try brotox,
let's go. But here's my concern, Nurse Fiona. I don't really
understand the whole units thing and howit works, right, but I do
know that I I don't want tolose complete movement. Okay, good,
more like preventative. I want itis something that I can like add into

(03:06):
my my lifestyle, like my regimen, you know, come and see you
and get it, you know, again and again. But I don't want
like so much. Does that makesense to you? It's actually what most
people want. It's at the beginningpeople are like, make me frozen,
get rid of everything. Now,everybody wants to look a little bit more
natural because they do see that youcan look kind of strange if you're really

(03:27):
have like a flat affect and you'renot you know, you don't have that
natural movement, right. But Ido tell people that botox it's like the
muscles play tug of war with eachother, right, So if one muscle
is pulling, the other one istrying to pull as well, so they're
opposing each other. So you kindof have to keep a nice balance.
So if you do your forehead anddon't do your globella, your globella is

(03:50):
going to be pulling more than itusually does. Well, can I ask
questions? What's a globella? It'syour frown? Oh? Ok, sorry,
I forget that. I need touse lay terms. Okay, so
yeah, So you know if youdo like, for example, there's this
is called the DO the depressor.Angular's orus. It's under your mouth right

(04:13):
here, and it pulls the cornersof your mouth downward. And the opposing
muscle is the chin. So ifyou do this muscle, the DO,
your chin will start to pull upwardif you don't treat that one as well.
So they're they're constantly like playing tagawar. Okay, So it's good
to do small amounts in multiple areasto keep everything in equilibrium, keep everything

(04:36):
in balance. So how many howmany shots are you thinking? It is?
Oh, you don't want to know? Are you okay with needles?
First of all? Yes? Okay, I am okay. The needle is
ever so small. It's a thirtytwo gage needle. I don't know if
that means anything to you. Usuallywhen they do an IV on you,
it's like an eighteen gauge. Oh, so the it's strained because the smaller

(05:00):
the number, the bigger beneath thesize of the knees. Okay, so
the bigger the number, the smallerthe needle. So a thirty two gage,
like I can't even drop blood withthat? Oh okay, I think
I'll be okay, Yeah, Ithink I'll fine. So usually for the
frown glabella is five injections and thenthe forehead I like to do like a

(05:20):
sprinkle technique where I just sprinkle itall over, yeah, versus like one
here, one here, one here, and then hopefully it spreads out.
I don't like that technique. Ithink that doesn't look as natural. Okay,
So what I'm gonna do is I'mjust gonna put my face in your
hands. Yes, that's perfect, that's all I want to do. So

(05:41):
how do you want just to work? Well, I know you have some
questions. Well, I do havesome questions. So do you want to
get the boatox done with and thenwe'll talk to people? Or do you
I think we should just talk topeople and then end with the boatox because
you're gonna I like that. Ilike that. That's my idea. So
I think we had a lot ofpeople. I told them that you were
coming. Yeah, So we're gonnarun through some questions. I have some
multiple so I'm going to try tomake sure I get enough of what everyone's
asking. So I did have somebodyask what's the best treatment for dark spots

(06:06):
on their face? We have theIPL or our regular laser, our alex
YAG laser, so that one's reallygood as well. But we have an
IPL laser treatment. We also havechemical peels that are really good for that
if you're not a good candidate forlaser. Speaking of laser, someone wants
to know what's the best laser treatmentfor anti aging and skin tightening. So

(06:29):
we have the CO two laser. It's by cool peel and that one helps
to resurface the skin, helps toget rid of wrinkles, helps with dark
spots as well. It's kind oflike getting like a buffer and just buffing
your skin down and making it niceand new and pretty and nice and soft.
So that's really good. It doesgive you a little skin tightening.
We also do have a radio frequencywith micro needling that does help with skin

(06:53):
tightening. Okay, someone said,I got botox last month, but it's
wearing off. Should I go getmore or should I wait the full twelve
weeks to now? You should definitelycontact your injector your provider. It could
be that your body is getting usedto the boatox if you've been doing it
for a while. So we offerthree different brands at my place. We
have Botox, Disport, and Doxify. I do not offer the other two.

(07:16):
There's five FDA proof products. I'vetried them. I didn't like them,
they didn't last. So I've alwaysdone my own research and I always
bring in what I think is bestand it's worked for thirteen years. But
they should contact their injector. Theycould be underdosed, or they could be
getting a resistant on it resistance,or it could be injection technique as well.

(07:40):
Unfortunately. So how many units ofbotox is needed for crow feets usually,
so it depends the FDA proved dose. Your eyes are, you know,
like the little like hello, hello, where your eyes come together?
Get that done it? So we'lldo an assessment on you. I'll figure

(08:01):
out what you want to do.We can start slow. I'm a big
believer, and just dip your toesin slowly. Don't go crazy because you
don't want to shock yourself and belike, holy shit, I don't look
like myself. I don't. Sowe're going to go slow with you.
I already saw that you do needsomeone in your frown and your glabella.
I've been watching you, my wifewatching you. You know, everything else

(08:26):
seems like really good. Actually whatI look for is wrinkles at rest.
So if you have lines at rest, that means that you're either overdue for
it or you're just starting and youneed to get it there. But you
want to tackle it before those linesat rest get deep, because once they're
deep, they're like almost impossible toget rid of deep. Okay, you're

(08:52):
still good, You're still Can weask how you are? I'm forty?
Oh wow, Okay, I thoughtyou were younger. Thank you. No,
I was. I'm really shocked.Yeah, I thought you're like,
no, no, thirty five.I had a really interesting life. I
have late, had a late startin life. I was the world's oldest
intern radio. It was like twentyeight intern. I was like thirty.

(09:13):
But yes, about what the crowsfeet like, yeah, so it depends
on each person. Some people Ido five units on each crows feet.
Some people I do the FT approveddose, which is twelve and twelve on
each side. So the only onethat's AFT approved for crows feet is botox.
Doesn't mean you can't use the others. The others would be considered considered

(09:33):
off label use, which is legaltotally fine, you know. Okay,
So someone says they're losing muscle ratherthan fat on diet injections. Do you
have any help that you can givethem any advice? Yeah, they can
do the umsculpt and then obviously exercisethey really need to. Like I'm I'm
squatting while brushing my teeth. Yeah. Yeah, Like I'm forty five and

(09:54):
I see that, I'm things arestarting to get solved. So I just
any in when I The funniest partis when I take the laundry out.
The wall is right behind me,and I'll just do like a what do
they call those, it's not yeah, and I just as I'm pulling the
laundry out, and by the timeI'm doone, like my legs are on
fire. So anything you could do, but we do have m skulp.

(10:16):
Yes, I used. That's great. And then pro obviously eating protein.
Yeah, when it's protein and weightlifted. I mean I do weight you know
with my trainer. Creatine is anotherone that's really important to include. I'm
sure you do creatine. I dofor females too, Yes, I didn't
know that. Yeah, especially ifyou're you know, losing a lot of
weight, or if you're over fortyand you have muscle waste, like we're

(10:37):
all getting muscle wasting. But ithelps with energy levels and it also helps
to build I drink creating every daystraight creatine. What are the best roundies
for our counteracting the side effects ofoozempic uh. So it depends on the
side effects. I mean, youknow, if sometimes we'll call in a
prescription, like if you're having nausea, we can call in so fram if

(11:01):
sometimes we'll do over the counter thingslike if you're unfortunately constipation is one of
the things that people deal with,so then we do things like mirr loax
or senecott or things like that.So it's just very situational. The person
that asked the question should talk totheir provider and they should be able to
give them solutions. Well, whenyou inject me, you also give me
a B twelve shot, yes, which helps with energy. So that is

(11:24):
also if you're I don't know whoyou're going to, but you guys,
do you offer you offered just Btwelve shots without getting ozempic correct? Yes,
yes, yes, on its own. If you wanted to come and
we have packages you can buy likeprepay for six or more and you got
a discount on them, and youcome in and you just got to be
twelve shot once. Yeah, definitelyfabulous. That definitely helps too. All
Right, one more question, andwe have obviously lots to get to.

(11:46):
So our fat transfer is legit anddo they last? Yes? Okay they
too? Anyway, Okay, Idon't even know you're talking about. But
before we get to the bowtox. So I'm excited to get this going.
I want to let everybody know thatyou do spend some time in the Cape

(12:07):
on the summer. So you're openinga satellite office and mash pee, yes,
and you are the only one there, the only one there. So
originally I was going to open upa whole other location with employees and everything,
and I'm only one person. Idon't have a business partner, and
I just felt like the Cape ismy sanctuary. Yeah, but I still
wanted to service people there because they'vebeen asking me. So I found a

(12:28):
nice little office, very clean, very new, and it's just me and
myself and I Appointments will be onlineor they can still call the SPA in
framing him and they'll get booked withme. But they're going to see me,
only me, nobody else. Andyou haven't taken new clients in years
five years. So if you wantto get in with Nurse Fiona herself,
the Queen, you need to goto mash Pee. So if you're on

(12:50):
the so Shore, if you're inPloymouth, if you're if you're down Kingston
like it's it's probably more easy thanto go to Framingham. So yeah,
well take advantage of it. Whileshe's in Mashpee. I'm on one fifty
one, so I'm closer to likethe east Falmouth side, so you don't
even have to go into mash Pee, like deep into it. It's more
like, yeah, so you getoff on twenty eight one and you just

(13:11):
go down and I'm right there.Or if you send fifteen minutes off the
bus time in the Cape in thein the summer, she'll be there for
you. Yeah, exactly should weget going because I'm excited to see you
put needles in here? Oh onemore thing. So at the Cape it's
only injectables, okay, no facials, no machines, no nothing. You
know, if things go well,we'll see what happens. Right, So
I'm going to test this out.I have a one year lease on this

(13:31):
building and that's it. And ifI like it, I'll keep going if
I don't whatever. Okay, Soinjectable's only mash pee location nurse, you
know, only yeah, stress freelocation. I had. I had a
question, but I know we're runninglate really quickly. Do you do anything
with hair? Yeah, so wedo PRP. Does that work? It

(13:52):
does as long as you still havehair growth? Okay? Yeah, so
I still have hair growth? Yeah, of course you don't. Standing on
the top, I can see it. I was taking monoxidal, but I
stopped because I wasn't sure that itwas working. Okay, you know that's
the other thing. I was goingto say, monoxidal oral, that's what
I was taking. Yeah, youdidn't see a difference. I don't know.
I cut my hair down low whenI noticed it was more thin than
it was when it was, youknow, six months ago. How long

(14:15):
did you take it? For?About six months? Yeah? I mean
usually like around three months is whereyou notice it. But I've heard amazing
things about monoxidl Okay, yeah,so but we do have a PRP.
So it's your blood that we drawout, spin it down, get the
platelet rich plasma, and then injectit into the scalp. Has tons of
growth factors. And if as longas you have hair follicles, then yes

(14:39):
you'll see good results. But ifyou don't know the reason why you're losing
hair, then you just have tokeep going with it. It's not going
to reverse it or completely fix it. Okay, you know what I mean.
So there'll be maintenance with it.Well, because when he knows what'll
happen if I lose my hair,he will lose his mind. He won't
be with us anymore. You willquit and go and clues. All right,

(15:01):
So is that it for the questions? Yes, let's get to boatoks,
baby, let's get it. Letme try to keep this. I
got you. We're tangled. I'mgoing to stand up, guys, and
I'm going to get to where Ihave all the needles and fun stuff.
You got it. Oh, we'reswitching. Okay, this is backwards one.

(15:28):
It's one for Actually it's one, four, three six. Okay did
you just tell everybody everyone? DoI need to sit or stand? I
prefer you? Okay, I'm sittingposition. So usually we have a chair,
right and you're usually laying back.So what I what I like to

(15:50):
do, I'll be here next tothe mic is maybe lean you, but
you you won't be next to yourmic. Lean you so that your head
is against the wall, so you'renot sure backwards but sitting, but sitting.
Okay, I'll do the play bypage. Don't worry by the mic.
No, see this is so stayhere second before you go. So
we'll do a quick assessment. Okay, here we go. You I'm going

(16:10):
to smile, and you have anyfacial movement, yeah, exactly. So
what I do is I have yousmile so I wouldn't do your crows feet.
Your crows feet look great, youcan relax your Okay, you're starting
to look creepy. It's just likeall ready for bro tops and then squeezebrows

(16:32):
together. What's that mean? LikeI'm mad like you? Okay, ready
ready, like like when you getsme mad every day. Let's go oh
yeah, okay, yeah, you'restrong as hell. Yeah okay, so
that means the stronger the muscle, the more the units. She's nicely telling
you that you need a lot ofa lot of you. You're so kind
when you say this. Okay, but we'll make you. Here's the issue.

(16:56):
You're not going to be able tofrown at Winny anymore. They put
them up God, because it's everyday, trust me. Now, I'm
just kidding. Okay, So Idon't I told you this before, like
I don't want like so much, you know, be I think less is
more, right, That's what Iwould think. Lift your eyebrows. Okay,

(17:17):
we're back. We're back. We'reback, We're back back, and
I still yeah, it's okay.So how many how many injections did you
give me? So I did actuallyseven total because I went back and you
kind of have like a little tinyblood. Oh oh get me, yeah,
thank you. Okay, there yougo. So I did seven because
I went back to add a littlebit more. I had short changed the

(17:40):
center one. And it's gonna taketwo to three days to see the result,
and then every day you'll see it. It'll be better and better.
You'll wake up in the morning andit'll look better and better. And what
you're looking for is your muscle contractionwon't be as strong, so you won't
be able to make that frown face. So so WENI will never know when

(18:02):
I'm mad, Like minus is wearingoff a little bit, so you can
kind of see like it's just alittle zoe. Let me see yours squeeze
your brows together. Yeah, seehow she squeezes and you can't see the
lines. The idea is that youwant to do this before you have those

(18:22):
deep creases in between your eyebrows orany part of your face, so that
you can prevent things from turning intodeep lines that eventually people will be like,
oh, why are you mad?And you're like, I'm not mad.
What can I be honest about something? I'm not just saying this,
Zoe or nurse feeling. I'm notjust saying that. I'm being honest.
Yeah, is both of you.I don't look at your faces and be

(18:44):
like, it's full of botos, right, it's natural, you know what
I mean. And that's what I'mlooking for, right point right, And
that's what I do with everybody. And I think you should look at your
injector and see what they look likeif they're full, and maybe that's the
look you want wonderful, But thosepeople go to other people because I don't
make people look weird. I don'tmake their eyebrows go high in the sky

(19:06):
like insane. I don't puff themup. Their lips aren't huge like it's
I definitely look for the more naturallook, I look at what you have
and we just enhance it and makeit look a little bit better. We're
not changing the way people look rightright, That's what we're all about.
It nursiona enhancing not changing. Yeah. Listen, I said my age.
I turned forty and I'm just I'mjust saying it. He wanted to run

(19:29):
thing. He's twenty five in myhead, I'm twenty. Remember when he
turned forty. I got him aforty bloe. He popped it. I
was so mad. I was somad. I did not like turning forty.
I mean, I'm forty five.I'll tell everybody, and I'm proud
of it because thank you. LikeI've worked really hard and I've done a
lot in my life and I've beenthrough a lot in my life as well,
and I'm proud to be forty five. You know, I'm going to

(19:52):
own it more like her, Yes, yeah, more proud. Well,
Nurse Fiona, thank you so muchfor coming in. I got to say
the last time you were the firsttime you were on the after show,
we got so much feedback he didabout it. Yeah, people loved it,
sending in questions and answer them.A lot of people at the spot
they're like, oh my god,I heard you on the podcast. A
lot of people and then a lotof the people you've referred as well.

(20:12):
When that, they are like,I was so excited to hear you and
this that and yeah, it's fun. I love doing this. Invite me
back anytime. I think every everyfew you know, months, we do
a check in. We figure outwhat's going on with people have so many
questions and there's so much to knowabout the medical like you know, Esthetician
World, because it's really I mean, it's becoming so popular, but you've
been doing it for so long, thirteen years. Yeah, and when you

(20:34):
started, it wasn't that. No, there was only like six injectors in
Massachusetts, that was it. Yeah. I taught a lot of the injectors
that are out there, and Istopped teaching now. But yeah, it's
I love this. Yeah, itconveniently located fram him. It's mash Pee
mash Yeah. So next week I'mgoing to open up the schedule online.

(20:55):
I'm still waiting for some furniture tocome in. It should be coming in
tomorrow if not by Monday, Soby next week people will be able to
start to book online. Love thisawesome thank you so much, Nurse Zoe.
Of course in the building here andno podcast tomorrow. We'll be back
on Monday and I'll give an updateon the podcast. Well brotox LP give
the actual update two weeks for thefull result. Yeah, and go see

(21:19):
us fear on the Cape. Weasked Lisa Donovan where she's going. You
know what she said, I'm goingto the Cape.
