Speaker 1 (00:00):
Box to news headlines today, So listen to this.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
A United Airlines flight in Denver had to make an
emergency landing after a rabbit somehow made it inside one
of the engines and caused them alfunction. The engine started
shooting out flames. There were no injuries.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Well, there was one, I know it well and just
before Eastern Yeah. But here I listened.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I watched the whole news report on this where they
talk to people after, and they had the shot of
the plane with the flames coming out of it from
the ground.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
But this is for the inside the plane.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Oh so they felt it.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Oh yeah, I mean you could hear that engine so yeah,
Oh my god, freaked out. I'd be freaked out too
when you look got the window and you see flames
coming out your engine. Yeah, you know, and you just
took off and you know, like the way carry all
the fuel.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Like, I'm freaked out too.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Did you say that they went seventy miles before landing
seventy minutes?
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Why don't understand why they would wait that?
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Because you just can't because once they shut the engine down,
they've got to go through checklists and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
They're not just going to like.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Who are we.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
I mean, I don't know. I'm just saying that would
be terrifying, so bizarre.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
So I wanted to tell you guys this story. I
want to tell you guys this story. When it happened,
I said, I'll wait, We'll wait till we get back
from our trip. But on on Sunday, when we were
all thanks on Sunday, when we were flying out to Orlando,
fine flight.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
We left early Sunday morning. You guys, you guys didn't
notice until I told you I noticed. Oh you did notice?
I did, Okay, So I wrote notes on the plane. Okay,
I wrote notes on the plane Sunday mornings. You experienced
it in real time.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Sunday morning at nine to twelve am, flying to our
Lando on Delta flight fourteen fifty five from Detroit. Just
minutes before landing, the plane jolted. If you're watching on
Fox Local that you can see this. If you're listening,
I'll try it. But when I say jolted, I mean
if you weren't looking out the window, it would have
felt like you hit a little bump.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
But it was enough to do this.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
I guess I didn't really realize that part. And I
witnessed the whole thing go down, but it didn't register
to me that we had shifted in any way.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
So I felt that.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
And I actually had my phone like this anyway, because
I like to take pictures.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
I take tons of pictures out of the window. I
love the window seat.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
So I'm holding this to take a picture out the window.
I feel this jolt and I look, and I'm telling you,
like a rocket underneath our plane. I see a yellow
plane right underneath the mossp enough that and it was
going by that my phone, my camera was open.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
I took a picture.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
I mean, i'll show this on the You can't see
it on I'll but I mean that was really close.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
To the point where it felt like we could see
the plane number or the tail number.
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Was a spirit plane for sure? Did air traffic controller
get doged? No? No, one guy.
Speaker 4 (03:15):
In every place doing all the planes.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Now, I don't know what's that going.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Right under us?
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Is also another way to say just missing us.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Well, that's how it felt to me. But you know again,
I checked and looked in where is this normal behavior?
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Do planes normally come this class? I don't think so either.
We'll put the picture up on Facebook. Let's picture up that.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Listen, you know, we've just okay, I gotta say one
thing I got to I really researched this a lot.
I'm not trying to make something out to be something
that it's not.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Like. I'm not saying like, oh, we almost hit a plane.
I'm not saying you said that.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, but I checked flight Tracker and the FAA rules
planes should say at least a thousand feet apart vertically
or several miles horizontally. They said, based on everything I read,
this likely was a controlled visual approach near a busy airport,
which we were five minutes from landing in or Lando.
(04:17):
Legal to do, but surreal to see.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Go ahead. I still don't like it.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
And that's great that that is probably normal, but the
idea that a plane was right under us and jolted
you doesn't sit well. And I just feel like we've
been talking a lot about since twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Plane accidents, crashes, and.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
You're meditated with just accidence.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I feel like something is a miss.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Do you want to know what was being said in
the cockpit, like I want to hear that recording.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Were they panicked in any way or was it just
like were they top gunning each other? Were they waving?
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Well, here's the thing, if anything would have went off
like so, they have systems against this the second that
system went off at that jolt, because that was what's
that called the plane leaves like uh, it disturbs the
air under these you know, So that's why you can't. Yeah,
so if that were to go off, it immediately gets
(05:18):
logged and you can find it online.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
So and that did not happen, Okay, so it may
you know, you looked it up. I did. I looked
it up. So maybe this happens all the time. You know,
I worked in news. I vet my stories most of
the time.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
Okay, chat gpt de Troy finds some very credible Chelsea,
I appear credible.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
I'm going to see if I can find it on TikTok.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
I look for it.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
So apparently, she says skeptically, this is very normal behavior.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
All right, Well it's really darring to see. It's what
happens to you. You look at the picture and judge
for yourself.
