Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Mojoe in the morning show. This weekend, Chelsea
and I went and did some mall shopping for the
kids for Christmas. And so we went on Saturday. The
mall was packed. By the way, I'm going to tell you,
there was nuts. The lines were insaneity. I couldn't believe
how long some of the lines were. Can I talk
about the Abercrombie ahole place? So this is so we

(00:25):
go into Abercrombie, which, by the way, Abercrombie, the line
there is so long it wrapped all the way from
the front of the store to the back of the store,
which when I got to the front of the store,
I'll explain why the line was so long, but where
the line was all the way back? And I said
to Chelsea, I go, hey, wouldn't the smart thing be
for me to stand in line? You go do the shopping,

(00:45):
and then by the time you're done with all Luke's shopping,
of all of the shirts and things that he wants,
we're up towards the front. You just didn't want to shop, No, honestly, no,
I just.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Didn't want to stand by line.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
So I said this to and she goes, well, here
here's one shirt, so at least you're not standing there
with nothing and people would get angry. So I go
stand in line, and then a guy comes and stands
right behind me, and then he says to me. He goes, hey,
could you do me a favor? Could you hold my
spot in line here for one second? I gotta go
grab one more thing. I'm like, yeah, no problem, and
then I'm on my phone. I even took a picture
and posted it on our story and stuff because I'm like,

(01:19):
the look at this line.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
How long this line is? Waiting, waiting, waiting.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Finally Chelsea comes back and the lines literally at least
twenty five minutes long, and this is probably fifteen minutes
into it. She comes up and we're kind of getting
closer and closer to the front. She has all of
her stuff and I'm standing there standing there. Still no guy.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
By the way.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I'm thinking he's gone. He left. Then he comes back
with not one more item. He comes back with all
of his items, He's got them all. What the guy
ended up doing and I think I got scammed to
this whole deal. Was he heard me say to Chelsea,
I'll stand in line. He was by himself shopping. He
didn't decide to himself, well, I'm gonna make this guy

(01:59):
stand in line for me, and then comes up and says, hey, man,
thanks for holding my line. I'm like, oh, everybody's kind
of given like grunting, groaning, like what the hell is
going on? The guy had me hold the line for him.
Don't you think that's kind of an a whole move?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
But would it have affected your time to get up.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
To the cash because no, because he was behind me.
But still it affected everybody else. And I'm like doing
it and he didn't offer me anything. I didn't get
anything offered to me, like, not even it was like
not even a thank you out of the whole deal.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Are you dumb? Are you the last person in line
when he asks you? No?

Speaker 1 (02:33):
At the time, I was the last person in line. Yeah,
so he got behind me, got you. But then by
the time that he jumped in line, there was at
least fifty or sixty people that are standing in that line.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I called that smart.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
No, because he would have been his body would have
been taking up that space. You did him a very
nice Christmas favor. You're you did a good deed. You're
getting that was a good deed on my part. I
didn't want to do as.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
He was by himself.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
He didn't have maybe he didn't have a wife.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Or a girl friend.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
You're going to try to get me, You're not gonna
get You're not going to get Christmas.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
This morning, favor. I'm not going to do it. I
don't care if you I'm not going to do it.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
I don't care if you get out of line, you
have to get back in line at the end.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yeah, if I was your.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Friend, save in your spotless will always save a spot
for you.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
So are you saying what I did was wrong too?
For holding the line for Chelsea? I think you were
in no, because I was actually part.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Of the whole process. He did this ale to a
four four Mojo Live eight four four six six five
six five four eight. I'd love to know your thoughts
on this one here. I'd like to know what you
what you think about that. And then the other thing
too is does anybody have any stories of retail arguing
in lines? I was in What's that the the uh

(03:49):
ath Leisure store? Is it out?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Alolo? I was in l on Friday Alo. The place
is insanity. It is people are arguing with each other.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I saw three Kaldian ladies that looked like they wanted to, like,
you know, rip each other's eyeballs out over the spot
and line.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
That they have.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Well, the staff was not very friendly, and they all
looked like they wanted to rip their own eyeballs out.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
For them.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
I think they had probably been treated poorly all day,
but they were really they were not very nice.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
There are there are more ath leisure type stores. I
was looking at that. They have Lulu Lamon. I seriously, yeah, yeah,
thank you? Is that a good thing? They had Lulu Lemon,
they have this Alo store, They've got Viori, and then
there was one other one that, oh Fabuletics or something
like that.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Yeah, we love Why are they so expensive? All of them?
Even Roots?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I went to Roots the other day and I was like,
what the hell is going on in this sweatpants world
where a pair of pants is one hundred dollars?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
It's insane. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
And Nike has like a full f leisure line.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
There is what's up? Kristin Hyat's Mojohn in the morning.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Actually, the worst place to try and stand in line
at this time of the year right now is cost Right.
I went there on Friday.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
I went there on Friday. The line was insanity.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
The checkout, the quick checkout was insanity. I saw this
old guy in line.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
I went up to him.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I was like, how much do I.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Have to pay you to be your granddaughter?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Right now?

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I have one thing. He's laughing at me.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
He's like, he's like, it's okay, you can cut.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
I'm like okay, I'm like, actually I need one more thing.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
I did only grab one more. Thanks.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Oh my god, you're like that guy you play. You
know what it is. It's called the Girl. This is
the Pretty Girl card.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Daughter came up to me and said hi, his real
granddaughter was with him shopping. It was hilarious. He was
so nice.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
So shout out to Gary and thank me that Gary.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
That's the Pretty Girl card, which which Costco was at.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
It was the one in Brighton, so shout out. It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Probably still be in that line right now.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Worse than the line at at that Brighton Costco is
the roundabouts out in front of that thing, which are
scary as hell.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah they're a little Yeah, it's nutty. Thank you for
the call. What's up Ryan? How you doing good, Lauren?
I'm doing good. What's going on.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
You wanted to comment on the uh Abercrombie a hole.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Yes, you can't hold people's thoughts the line. You're already holding.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Chelsea's spot, right, so you can't hold who people sat So, Mojo,
I agree with you, but you should have said, oh buddy,
I can't I'm already.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Hold yeah, you know what I especially since he was
at the end of the line, like he got behind you.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
It would have been completely different if he was like
in front of you, but he was at the end
of the line.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Sold, And that actually is a very good point, Like
if the guy was in front of me, I probably
would be more, you know, kind of kind about it
than I am today over the fact that I feel
like all I was was a placeholder for this guy.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
You know, thank you for the call. What's up, Natasha?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Listen, Mojo?

Speaker 1 (07:02):
That guy was smart, Okay, he saw opportunity and he
took you.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I would think listen, especially you said the line was
what long rocking start?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
I would have done the same thing, Mojo. You know
what he saw. He saw the dumb look on my face,
he said, Marthon Mojo, he knows you have a good heart.
You couldn't help yourself.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Now you're gonna get me. Don't make me cry. Marry Christmas.
We love you, Natasha, Thank you, Love you guys too.
What's up, Julie High?

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Hello? Hi?

Speaker 2 (07:36):
So I do believe that you might have been in
the a hold there? She says, it so delicate?

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Why why might I be the.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
What about all those people that were behind you by the.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Time Chelsea got back or the guy got back.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Those people are p o day.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
They're mad at me, not him. The more you because
allowing it.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
In my opinion, well I think they're just mad because
they didn't think of that idea themselves.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Can I tell you who the worst the worst is
and the reason why the line is so long? The
four people working at the Abercrombie in Somerset Collection in Troy,
Michigan might be the slowest people I've.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Ever seen in my life.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
The one dude, this one dude was like, uh uh.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
I swear to you, this guy they're high from the smell.
I think that's what it is too.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
This guy literally was like it took him like five
minutes to try to take a security tag off that
literally he already took off. I'm like, what is going
on here? I seriously put some faster people up there.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yes, anybody? Is that what it is? All right?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Well, i'm a little I'm a little slow right now too,
and i'm the a hole according to you.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Thank you for the call.
