from the World Tour of Weddings. It was was this
weekend the last of the world tour. The New Era
(02:32):
World Tour has come to a close.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
Thank god, I'm tired.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
And the wedding in Chicago this weekend for Erica, she
looks so beautiful, Erica and Mark so happy together. That
looked like a fun wedding. Was you know what, I
tried not to. I try not to because and I
will today. No, let me say this to you, I
try not to. The problem is everybody on their wedding day.
(02:57):
She's not going to read my text message. First off,
I'm gonna say this, She's gonna she's gonna probably have
all of her bridesmaids in her family's text messages be
the priority. My text message will just be the okay, great,
thank you or a heart or something. So I figure
I wait a couple of days until she's consummating her relationship,
and then I'll give the bauchi to wah wah.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Great call. She also had a three day wedding, so
like you had plenty of time to.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Sneak a textans, how do you have a three day wedding?
Speaker 4 (03:25):
I don't know. I want to know how much she's
spent on this wedding.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
So bad for those who don't know Erica keV, I
don't even think you know Erica. Erica is uh somebody
who I met through Allen, our old producer. They were
roommates together at.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
The best Friends.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
They were buck Eyes. They were the Ohio State buck Eyes, right.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
They thought it was a buck Eye bye week.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, and Michigan lost though they were Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
Michigan don't play. Michigan football doesn't exist as ye they
did look.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Like they give you Oh my god. So Erica and
also Erica is a record of representative. Tony Travado plays
little of her music and it nois the crap out
of her. Tony doesn't play much music at all. If
you notice, we played Doja Cat Painted Down Redstill as
a power record on the station.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Do you know how hard it is when one of
your best friends trying to get a record playing, and
then she's texting me and I go.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Mabe, you think I have any power? I'm sorry I
like the song. I don't know what to tell you.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Did she uh? Did? She have a lot of people
come in from out of town where it seemed like
it would probably because she's in Chicago, But she's not
a Chicago in. She's Chicago in now because she lives there,
but she grew up in what Ohio or the Dayton area.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Yeah, she's from Centerville, so she's right outside of Dayton.
Speaker 6 (04:43):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
For all he toledle listeners, who are the only ones
who know where Centerville is?
Speaker 1 (04:48):
You know Dayton.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Close up? Yeah, she's from there.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
She had a bunch of people there are another record
rep friend of ours, Christian from La came in.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
I'm trying to think of who else came in from
out of town.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
There's a lot of people. I think that's the joy
of her life and her job is that people people.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Leave the nest.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I was really loved though, for all those people that
want to travel in and see her on her big day.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
Even if you didn't like her, which she's great, she's
one of my best friends. But even if you know,
like that girl knows how to throw a party.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
It was fun. You have Lewis Capaldi performing at her.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Which that would have been great, and I think he
would have done it for her because of how close
they are. I think she just didn't ask, But I'm
actually surprised he didn't come.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
She would get mad because I would always call I
would always call him Lewis Kilpatrick. I don't know. I
got Kwame kill Patrick and Lewis Capaldi mixed up.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Yes, And I'm kind of upset right now thinking about
this because she knows that I'm actually in love with him,
like he's he might be my soulmate.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
The way that we're so compatible it's not even funny.
I guess I kind of like, yeah, yeah, the knife fall.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
You know that knife all sounds Yeah? Okay, real quick,
I want to ask this question. I would like to
I would like to ask a question of our listeners
to start off the morning. Who's gone, And it doesn't
have to be this summer, it could be any summer.
Who went to the most weddings in one particular year
because I and then I want to know how old
you were at the time, because I want to match
the year to Megan's because Megan's age is exactly the
(06:30):
year that you go to every single wedding.
Speaker 4 (06:33):
You don't even know how old I am. You said
it was thirty six other day.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
No, No, I know, I know you are.
Speaker 7 (06:40):
I remember, I remember your I remember your thirty Do
you remember that you gotta wait to the chorus?
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Guys, I think it's easy to say, but it's still.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Eight four Mojo Live eight four four six six five
six five four eight. How many weddings have you gone
to one year?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
In sonif you know it's a gimme food?
Speaker 1 (07:14):
My god? Was this her first dance?
Speaker 8 (07:17):
No?
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Her first dance?
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Oh? I always wondered when you're when you're in the
music industry music, when you're a record rap representing major artists,
and she does have some really good artists. Yeah, but
or you're a non air personality and stuff like that,
you gotta have a good first dance song because everybody's
gonna judge you by the songs that you choose. Yeah,
(07:44):
and cause I remember when I got married, we had
like the DJ that did like the Friday night and
Saturday night dance parties doing our doing our wedding. So
you know, he's throwing some good music together, you know
what I mean? It would be like Godfather here at
the station or something like that. You know, doing it
or Shortstop or one of those guys Zach or Zach
Martian Music or DJ four Fingers. He might have made
an appearance, but yeah, yeah, he costs.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
There's a lot of pressure.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
She had great music, though, I will say though a
lot of artists that weren't hers were played probably in
heavier rotation than her artists.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Oh, because she's so tired of her own music. Probably.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
I think the thing that we've bonded over the most
is our love of Harry Styles. So there's a lot
of Harry Styles at this wedding.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Poor Mark. I don't think he chose a single song
that got played all night.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
I don't think Mark's going to choose anything for the
rest of his life.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
No he's not, No, he is, but he is a
longer the ReLit and he is grateful to have her.
Speaker 9 (08:36):
Right.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah, look at okay. Texts that are coming in right
now eight four tour Jue Live, call us up or
text nine five five zero zero. Texts that are coming
in that are saying, Megan, I went to five weddings
last summer and by the way, I'm twenty eight years old.
Another one here that says they've been they went to
This is a couple of summers ago. On my thirty
(08:57):
first year on this planet, I went to ten weddings
in one year. Ten How expensive this ten weddings get
because what we've learned, especially and I'm assuming that that
might have been a female that text into us because
there was no spelling ners. Yes, but I'm assuming you
got to buy dress and stuff.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
And I can't tell you how broke I am right now.
I'm so broken, it's not even funny.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Really fine. Three is like, Megan, you did it right.
Speaker 10 (09:26):
Three is real because at that point, if you have three,
I'm thinking you have real relationships with these people. Once
you started getting into the eight nines, double digits, you
don't really know people.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
But I also feel like everybody gets married at the
same time. Like out of my Chicago friend group, three
girls are engaged right now to be married next year
as well.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Jeez.
Speaker 10 (09:43):
Yeah, So like it is just a dress rehearsal for you,
it's gonna be expensive.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Pancho, how many in one year did you go to?
Speaker 11 (09:52):
Well, I'm gonna take a wild guest that maybe between
twenty to thirty and maybe a little more.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Wow, And how many of those weddings. Did you choose
that chicken?
Speaker 8 (10:01):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (10:01):
I didn't need it any of them for the most part.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Really, why just because you got tired of eating bad
wedding food?
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Or no?
Speaker 13 (10:08):
Because I worked them?
Speaker 11 (10:09):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Wait, wait, what do you do?
Speaker 13 (10:14):
I used to work as a photo booth operator where
I go in and they do photo booths.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Okay, all right, so you had to bring the photo booth. Pierre? Hi,
how many weddings did you have in one year?
Speaker 14 (10:24):
Hey, it'll be twenty nine next month, so this year.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Like Megan's how old are you? How old are you? Pierre?
Speaker 13 (10:35):
I'm thirty four?
Speaker 1 (10:36):
Thirty four years four? Okay, thirty four years old. That's
that's about the years I think that that happens, right,
it's between like thirty and thirty five years old. Am
I guessing in the right area of vicinity?
Speaker 9 (10:46):
Here?
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Megan and Home?
Speaker 15 (10:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
I think it all started when we were like twenty eight,
and I think it'll stop when we're thirty five.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Do these people not realize how expensive weddings are?
Speaker 5 (10:57):
I can't can't tell you how much I've spent on
this weekend really, Oh, with the hotel, the travel expensers,
the outfits, the gift to the bride and.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Groom three days of activity.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
He's paying for stuff at the bars, the ubers alone
in Chicago.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
This weekends, parking for three days in the city.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
I'm guessing. I'm guessing. Then you think about the wedding
gift has got to be at least what undred and
fifty dollars or how do you more.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
Chicago wedding? I know my plate costs more than that.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Megan's going to start selling more than just her feet picks.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
Guys, does somebody want to buy my eggs?
Speaker 1 (11:39):
There you go.
Speaker 4 (11:39):
The sergacy place has said that I am not young enough.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
But I can strike a deal with the listener.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
We're calling up doctor Shama at IVF Michigan and the
Ohio Fertility Center. We're going to get those things sold off.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
I'm broke.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
This is funny, Mojo. You just talked about the chicken.
I ate more chicken and vlats for an entire summer.
When we went to twelve weddings where five of them
were at the same place. This is pretty wild. I
wonder if that place was Pallazolo's or whatever it is
over over on the east side of town. Everybody always
(12:16):
seems to every wedding is and then I'm invited to
is either Shnandoah, you know for for one of the
venues or the east side of town? Is it palas
Is that what it is? Palasola?
Speaker 8 (12:26):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (12:27):
What's the place that's it? Pennas? Yeah, the best cream
of chicken soup ever. So that's good stuff. All right,
We're going to begin the show. We got a full
week of good stuff here, including Taylor Swift tickets coming
up right now.
Speaker 3 (12:41):

act so innocent.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
You can take that fake apology and shove it right.

This was the year that Chauncey Billups won the MVP

act so innocent. You can take that fake apology and
shove it right up your hand.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
And the big song was moved that body. It's a

Alive Mochoor in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Look at that girl over there, Megan looking great today.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
She's in for Shannon with the Dirty. What's going on?
Speaker 8 (16:42):
You?
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Know what.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
I actually washed my hair for the first time on
a Sunday in a walk time.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Oh my gosh. That deserves an applase.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
We usually do hats on Monday, because when I get
the Sunday scaries, I'm not washing my hair.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
See.
Speaker 5 (16:53):
Alex announced over the weekend that he's putting the brakes
on his Stairway to the Sky tour after the death
of former bandmate Liam Payne. He did post on his
Instagram story that he was postponing the US portion of
his tour and rescheduling for January, even though it was
supposed to start next week in San Francisco. I think
(17:13):
his fans are probably pretty understanding to this postponement, though,
because a lot of his fans were fans of One
D and are grieving this as well. What I think
is interesting, though, is that he's not postponing a European
leg of the tour, which starts in November, so it
looks like he's just taking a break over.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
The next couple of weeks, which does in fact make
a lot of sense. We had a very big win
this weekend against the Book.
Speaker 9 (17:40):
North.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
This is all thanks to our kicker Jake Bates, who
as he says, really didn't think that this was going
to happen because he didn't even think he'd be playing
in the NFL.
Speaker 19 (17:49):
Eighteen months ago. I thought I was done with football.
I was working as a brick salesman in Houston. I
thought the dream was dead. You know, it's it's definitely
something that's like I couldn't even have drein of this
like this, this moment is so cool and I mean,
I'm taking an in stride and I'm having fun with it.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
I was scared for him too. Awad baits, how's the lover?
Speaker 3 (18:13):
Detroit is on top with fifteen seconds left.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
I gotta tell you that game was the first stressful
game I have watched.
Speaker 1 (18:20):
Oh my god, they and honestly, they only had really
one good quarter of play. That second quarter?
Speaker 20 (18:25):
Was it?
Speaker 21 (18:26):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (18:26):
I disagree.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
The rest of that game was kind of sloppy, I thought.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
But that's what that was like, a game of everybody
was I thought they were.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Blown out and after the first quarter they played so bad.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Yeah, but it was a good game. It was strategy
versus strategy.
Speaker 5 (18:44):
Listen, I have a story leader where we're going to
talk about stats and the Lions, and I just think
that we're not giving a lot of credit to our
players here, But I do have a comment on what
he said though. I hope people remember when Bats was
talking to he was talking about selling bricks. That's what
he was doing before he came to play.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
With the Lions.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
The best comment I saw on the internet this weekends,
and this is so fitting for the grit Lions mentality,
was he built this career brick by brick.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Come on, that was pretty good.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
It was pretty good.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
Billie Eilish was performing this past weekend in Madison Square
Garden and before you play that song Mojo, if you've
ever heard when the Party's Over, she has this like
looping voice track.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Okay, this part, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
It's actually her singing the same thing and four different
notes stacked on top of each other. So when she
does the song live on this tour, she records all
four parts onto a looper. It's the only part of
the concert where she asks her fans to be like
completely silent, because anything that is shouted out will get
recorded into that track and then play the entire time
(19:57):
she's performing it live. Well, at Madison Square, a disgusting
fan yelled out something really inappropriate right as she was
starting to record, he.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
Said, Billy, give me a special attention, is what I
will say.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
And you could clearly hear the guests of disgust from
most of the crowd afterwards, And I just was appalled
at the fact that when the show gets that quiet,
you really can hear everything.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Why is that the thing you would shout out?
Speaker 5 (20:34):
I even understand. It frustrates me, but I understand the use.
She just moved on and started recording the song. She
did not acknowledge that There's no way she didn't hear it,
because when I saw her a couple of weeks ago
at Little Caesar's Arena, somebody shouted out and she responded
to it, But like, why, why.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Is that the thing you're shouting out?
Speaker 1 (20:53):
I love when people shout out stuff with comedians, and
the comedians come back with even a better comeback, like
if it was big, I would, but it's not, you know,
something like that. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Yeah, and then Mojo the story, This last one is
for you because I know you love a good poop story.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
Yes, so here you go.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
This is why I'm never ever ever.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
Going to go to Sea World. Did you guys see
the viral video of an orca during a show, which,
by the way, I thought we weren't doing these anymore
ever since Blackfish came out, Like, how are we still
doing these shows?
Speaker 22 (21:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (21:21):
During the show, one of the.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
Orcas took a poop right by the edge of the
tank where people were sitting to watch, and then it
splashed the water.
Speaker 4 (21:28):
So people got hit by that orca. Oh apps freaking lutely.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
One of the guests said that they expected to get
wet sitting so close.
Speaker 8 (21:38):
But not like that.
Speaker 4 (21:39):
It smelled awful.
Speaker 5 (21:40):
People were gagging And if you wanted to know how
SeaWorld decided to help these pooped on guests, well, they
took them to a decontamination area where they got soap,
bottled water, and towels.
Speaker 4 (21:52):
But if they wanted clean clothes, they had to buy
their own at the gift store.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Oh my god, I'm watching the video right now. This
is crazy. That is actually nice of that. Go wow,
that's great.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
You had to buy your own. You couldn't give them
some T shirts.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
That should be a SeaWorld thing that they do to
get people to buy more merch when they're the.
Speaker 4 (22:12):

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Please tell us.
Speaker 25 (29:07):
So one of my jobs I do home.
Speaker 11 (29:09):
Health care for mentally disabled. I have a client that
I work with overnight into the morning, and I am
a daily Mojo listener.
Speaker 14 (29:19):
And I didn't know there was a morning.
Speaker 24 (29:22):
I'm like, I want to listen, but I don't know
how he'll do.
Speaker 11 (29:25):
He wants to watch his football recap, you know. So
I turn on Mojo, wait.
Speaker 12 (29:32):
A few minutes, and he goes, who's this?
Speaker 4 (29:35):
I like him?
Speaker 20 (29:36):
Who is this?

So we consistently now listen to Mojo in the morning.
How you help his anxiety. You help him calm down
your voice.
Speaker 25 (29:50):
Wow, a bit of a larger guy.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (29:56):
I showed him a picture of the whole crew, and
I showed him Moji and he said, he's a big
guy too.
Speaker 29 (30:01):
He's just like me.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Ah, come on, very I love you. Yeah, that's awesome.
That's so great to hear that. That is seriously, you
just made my morning. I appreciate you so much. You
made all of our mornings. We're very happy about.
Speaker 9 (30:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (30:14):
I've been debating if I should try and get.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
A hold of you guys to tell you, but no, no, no,
that's wonderful.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
I'm no, no, thank you. I appreciate that. That makes
us feel wonderful to hear that. What's his name so
I can shout him out and say hello, His name
is Brian. Brian. We love you big Brian, you big, lovable,
huggable and fun man. And I hope they get a
chance to meet you in person someday. Brian.
Speaker 11 (30:40):
You guys are incredible.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Thank you so much you.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
We'll make sure we put this on the podcast so
that you can play it for him and tell him
that we we love him, but we love you more
because what you do for a living. I think that's
a wonderful career that you have chosen to help people.
Speaker 6 (30:56):
Like you are.
Speaker 14 (30:57):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 11 (30:58):
It's one of a few things you but it's definitely
the favorite and the awesome.
Speaker 9 (31:02):
Man.
Speaker 11 (31:02):
Well, thank you repeat, I'll have a wonderful day.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Take care of yourself. That was nice. That was very
nice call. It's Joe in the morning. I gotta tell
you my uh my wife, Chelsea kind of had this
rant that I thought was actually kind of funny. I
wish that I recorded it because it was just so great.
It was one of those moments where as a mother
of three boys and then a basically a fourth boy
(31:27):
and me my you know, self, being one of her children,
at times, she just doesn't have it, you know, like
she's she's out numbered in such a huge way and
she never got the girl that she wanted. It's so depressing. Well,
she always complains about how gross the boys and I
are and she gave an example when we were together,
(31:49):
my sons and I and stuff. We were all hanging out,
and her example of who's talking to the other room.
I can hear it? So are you are we having
like a party out there in the Hallway. Okay, I
think KP is like a giddy this morning. You go
to go Okay, over there.
Speaker 30 (32:06):
We're giving away Taylor Swift tickets, so we're trying to
make a cute video.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
I'm sorry, is there any way that we could uh,
we could make it a little less, but that's okay.
Speaker 30 (32:15):
The volumes at a nine, I'll bring it to.
Speaker 16 (32:19):
No.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I was like, all of a sudden, I'm hearing like
all the craziness in there. I was like, I feel
like I'm missing out on something. What I'm what I'm
doing doesn't seem as much fun. So back to what
I was saying. So Chelsea complains, for example, that she
doesn't understand that guys feel the need to do the
pension roll and do you know what a pinsion roll is?
(32:41):
Explain this to me. I know you do the pension roll.
I guarantee you, keV. You just probably just don't know.
It's called the pincher. Megan, do you know what he's
talking about?
Speaker 4 (32:49):
I think you should explain it.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Okay, it's when I know it.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
But if I say that, he's going to make me
describe it, and I'd like him to hear.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
Are you sure you don't want to. I'd love you.
Speaker 27 (33:00):
I tell you.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
The pension roll is when as a guy, you have
an itch that is so bad that you must place
the loose sack skin in between your finger and your
thumb loose SASKI and once you have a good grab
on it, you proceed to pinch and then roll it
(33:22):
to get this that itch to go away. Have you
ever done the pinchion rolls?
Speaker 10 (33:27):
I'm definitely scratched and adjust it and you know, lifted
it and got it ditch off.
Speaker 1 (33:31):
Yeah, for sure. Pinchion roll, though, is something that me
and my boys do. I think I taught them. Zach,
you've done the pinchon roll before every day. Man, I
don't understand how you not do the pinsion roll. You
scratch like a serial killer. Yeah, well, it depends on
how you know thick is I guess Chelsea. Chelsea was like,
(33:52):
you guys are disgusting. Why is it that you guys
always have to be touching yourselves? And I'm trying to
explain to her that there are times when we're sitting
in our chairs or you know, on the couch, watching
it like a lion's game, and we're there for a
period of time, and I don't know what it is,
but maybe it's excessive crotch sweat or something that causes
your your testicles in your sack to kind of get
(34:18):
a little sweaty and it causes for ANOW.
Speaker 31 (34:20):
I'm gonna go ahead and write you a prescription for
two testicles, and you feel free to get this filled out.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
Whenever you want.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
So for her that that is a disgusting thing that
she just doesn't understand why guys do that. And I thought,
I'm going to bring this up on the air because
I know that there are probably other women that could
share in her pain. And I bet you that there
are other guys that have done the pension roll.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
Listen, I'm not disgusted that you did the pension role.
I'm always disgusted you guys seem to do it in
front of us on the.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
Couch with no real shame.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Well, your brother obviously does, and your dad probably do
the pinsion roll took people very long term, Okay, Well,
and some of these boyfriends are doing them too. Yeah,
but like they all have weight, has your brother, your dad,
and your boyfriend's ever done it all together?
Speaker 5 (35:04):
Only the boyfriend in front of me? Oh, thank God,
the boyfriends have done it in front of you.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
I take it.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
Because we done the penchion roll with you.
Speaker 5 (35:12):
No, I think it's really weird to touch your balls
in front of your daughter. Oh I just in case
you're wondering, that's kind of off limit.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
It's still so gross. What if I was standing here
right now with my hand's down my pants. I think
it's weird.
Speaker 10 (35:26):
I think it's equivalent in a female capacity when you
guys scratch under your breast.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
Maybe yeah, No, well it's an itch.
Speaker 5 (35:34):
Are my hands in my braw actually touching my skin?
Or am I like itching it through my shirt?
Speaker 1 (35:40):
I guess it depends on how big you are. I
don't do women, and do women not get itches down there?
Though we do.
Speaker 5 (35:47):
We're just polite members of society the knowledge and wherewith
all of social standards to go to a bathroom and
do it privately.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
Wow, that takes too long.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
But you wonder why we call you gross? Is it
you want me to walk.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
All the way to the bathroom for a quick itch. Yes, no, bro,
I can't do it.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
Are you kidding?
Speaker 5 (36:06):
It's like what I need to adjust my undergarments. I
don't just stand up in the living room, undo my
pants and like fix my underwear.
Speaker 1 (36:13):
Why do women feel the need to point out the
fact that, guys, we are just humans. You know you're not.
Speaker 5 (36:21):
We're not saying you're not humans. We're saying you're gross
humans with low standards.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
I don't know. It's not like I'm going to eat
a sandwich right after it right.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
You still don't think it's weird that you're putting your
your Is it too really to say genitals?
Speaker 1 (36:35):
You're putting your genitals in your head, I said, sack.
I don't know. They're already mine.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
Your medical term yours is not.
Speaker 5 (36:44):
But I do feel like it is weird that you
guys are fighting for your ability to touch yourselves.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
It's not I don't fight my ability.
Speaker 11 (36:52):
I don't do it.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
It is eight four four Mojo Live eight four four
sixty six five six five four eight. Every guy does it,
and I would like guys to admit that every guy
does it. Every guy does the pension roll, other things
that every guy does, and I think every woman does
this too. We do the smell test on our jeans
and our underwear. Oh yeah, have you ever did a
Poppin smiff? What that's like? If you're wearing pants and
(37:15):
have elastic and you just pop the top. You get
the waft that comes up, then you shower. It's on. Yeah,
that's a good one. By the way, I gotta try
that is the pinsion roll and the pop and.
Speaker 25 (37:26):
What is it?
Speaker 24 (37:28):
Why is that?
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Why is that?
Speaker 5 (37:31):
I feel like if that's the parrometer, it's gone to
you's got.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
To know it's it. People.
Speaker 4 (37:38):
Nobody feels bad for me.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
You should you have some things. We got a big
bee there.
Speaker 10 (37:46):
There's nothing, Cindy, I know they're there.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
You you understand every guy does it.
Speaker 14 (37:53):
Cindy, Right, I understand that, trust me, I do. But
began let me tell you why. I was at Target
one day and all of a sudden, this lady walks
past the car and she reached her hands down the
front of her pano, scratching her So, yeah, my.
Speaker 32 (38:11):
Husband, I'm like, she should have went at the Target
in the bathroom.
Speaker 4 (38:15):
Yeah, but we all agree that's crazy behavior, just like
when men do it.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
I think it's crazy because you all got nails too, though.
Thank you for the call. Hi, Ryan. What's happening is
Mojo in the morning?
Speaker 18 (38:31):
How you doing?
Speaker 1 (38:31):
We're doing okay, buddy? What's up?
Speaker 18 (38:34):
That's great?
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Great?
Speaker 1 (38:35):
Hey man, I love we got hold on, I got out.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
I love you too.
Speaker 8 (38:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 25 (38:40):
I was gonna say, uh, those poor guys, we all
do that, you know, and uh, I wish.
Speaker 28 (38:45):
You guys were could talk about it because you're making
my balls.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
It's true, there is you know what it is. It's
it's like when you hear somebody sneeze, it makes you
want to sneeze. What's up, Kim? How you do then?
Good morning morning?
Speaker 29 (39:02):
I think it's more girls.
Speaker 22 (39:04):
Women do panties if they're wearing them. Oh, their panties
not necessarily go underneath everything.
Speaker 14 (39:10):
Can I get a.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (39:14):
Any players pull around, by the way, that guy that's
there just heard her say that. The drivers hey, hey,
said what's up?
Speaker 8 (39:24):
Hey?
Speaker 13 (39:24):
How's going guys?
Speaker 1 (39:25):
Good? We're talking about the you know, the the pension twist.
Do you do the pinsion twist? Don't you?
Speaker 8 (39:30):
So?
Speaker 13 (39:31):
Not only me, but there's patients in the hospital that
will do this, you know what, The garments down and
the expect you to shake your hand when your first walk.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
There is no way in hell. And usually they're usually
not wearing any underwear. Are they underneath one of those gowns.
Speaker 21 (39:50):
I can't hear you.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
What I'm saying is i'd like a VENTI Uh, hey, Tabor,
what's up?
Speaker 18 (39:59):
Hey, what's up?
Speaker 1 (40:00):
Nothing much, man, we're talking this morning about the fact
that every guy does this. Megan doesn't understand it. My
wife thinks it's disgusting. What are your thoughts?
Speaker 31 (40:09):
Okay, So, even though it's a disgusting thing as a
gay man, I just want to say that it is
very true. Yes, and honestly, if I have I'm going
to do it.
Speaker 33 (40:20):
If I have it, I'm gonna do it.
Speaker 4 (40:22):
I get that, Okay. I'm not saying it's not true, right,
I'm not denying that this happens. I'm very aware that
it happens.
Speaker 5 (40:27):
I've seen it with my own two eyus, by strangers
and people that I love. I'm just asking why you
have to do it in front of other people.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
Because it is.
Speaker 18 (40:38):
Yeah, it's perfectly normal.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
That is, by the way, the benefit of being a
gay man is that your partner does understand the pinch
and twist.
Speaker 16 (40:47):
Right.
Speaker 31 (40:47):
No, oh, yeah, totally totally.
Speaker 5 (40:50):
You're telling me your partner loves watching you each you're
junk and not in a sexypy life.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
I like to get ready for some fun time. But
in a way that's like my junkie's itchy.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
You don't think that his is itchy too. I think
that they're both are itchy, loves you and wants you
to be comfortable exactly. This is this is one of
those just wonderful things. Well, thank you for the call table.
We appreciate you. Have a great morning. All right, it
is Mojoe in the morning. Yes, what's going on?
Speaker 18 (41:21):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (41:22):
What's up Joe?
Speaker 2 (41:24):
Yo?
Speaker 34 (41:25):
How you guys doing doing good?
Speaker 22 (41:27):
Joe?
Speaker 8 (41:29):
I worked with the girl one time and went a
coffer room and she was messing around up front.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
She was wearing a dress.
Speaker 18 (41:36):
I walked in, what are you doing? She goes, I
gotta pull the wool. And I looked at her, like,
you gotta.
Speaker 33 (41:43):
Pull the wool.
Speaker 8 (41:44):
She goes, but she wears like the launder right stuff
the Christmas goes through, so she has to pull the wolf.
Speaker 34 (41:51):
So it doesn't pull on her Christmas.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Wait a second, so you're saying that she called it
I gotta pull the wool. She's pulling the underwear out
of her her thing something.
Speaker 8 (42:07):
Her Christmas was going through her underwear.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
Okay, Megan, do you pull the wall.
Speaker 4 (42:13):
I've had Laisa hair removals. Okay, your vagina just tried
to bite me. Ten out of ten.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
All right, well, now we all have the visual.
Speaker 6 (42:23):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (42:24):
I didn't do this.
Speaker 25 (42:25):
I just do I talk.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
Those sidewalks are shoveled. Thank you for the golf Mojo
in the morning show, Meghan went to the wedding this
weekend and had something happened after the wedding, and you
you know, I'm going to title this one and make
sure this podcast is titled this way. He didn't show
up because of Meghan.
Speaker 4 (42:48):
Yeah, no, I feel really bad about this.
Speaker 5 (42:50):
So this wedding that I went to this past weekend
was so much fun, so much fun. I want to
make that very clear before I say this next part.
It's gonna sound exhausting because it was, but in the best.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
It was a three day wedding.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
It was three days of festivities.
Speaker 5 (43:04):
Which, by the way, I actually now think should be
the standard for all weddings because it was like a
vacation weekend that was an absolute blast where you got
to celebrate some friends. But at the second day of
the events, which was the actual wedding itself, I.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
Met someone and.
Speaker 5 (43:25):
We had some fun together throughout the night, and it
turned out to just be a really good time.
Speaker 4 (43:32):
That's what all.
Speaker 5 (43:36):
Okay, so we had a fun time, but it turns
out that we mary have complicated things within the friend
group and he didn't actually show up to the third
day of festivities, and it's starting to kind of cause
(43:57):
a rift in the friend group because it's kind of crappy.
Speaker 4 (44:01):
When you RSVP to be at an event and then
you don't show.
Speaker 5 (44:04):
Up because of the choices you made, and it's causing
like a big rift over who should apologize.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
Was it that big of a deal?
Speaker 1 (44:13):
Do they hold it against him or hold it against
you and him?
Speaker 5 (44:18):
So I don't know if they're holding it against me.
They said they didn't, and quite frankly, I showed up,
So I'm not the problem here.
Speaker 4 (44:27):
I think they're just frustrated with him for.
Speaker 5 (44:31):
Not coming to the third day of activities because of
what happened on the second.
Speaker 1 (44:35):
Okay, so in it real quick, let's go back for
a second. For any of the listener that didn't hear this.
It was an out of town wedding, but there were
multiple things, so there was like what something Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Speaker 4 (44:44):
Sunday, No, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Okay, Thursday, Friday Saturday in the mont but jama waw
thing Friday happened Friday, but he didn't show it so up.
Speaker 4 (44:55):
To the events on Saturday.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
Oh, I know, I know.
Speaker 4 (44:58):
And it started causing a really big problem because essentially,
like the third.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
Day event was still almost like a mini wedding, like
there was a cost per head, and so when you
say that you're going to be there and then you
don't show up, it wasn't like it was a barkall
where we're all paying our own tab.
Speaker 4 (45:17):
She had paid for a seat for him to be there.
Speaker 1 (45:20):
Do we uh? First off, how was Friday?
Speaker 4 (45:25):
I've want done? Okay, everything was great?
Speaker 9 (45:28):
Was it?
Speaker 4 (45:29):
He had a mustage?
Speaker 1 (45:30):
Can you imagine?
Speaker 4 (45:34):
He was like a firefighter? Just picture of a firefighter. Really,
I never thought I would make out what to do
with the mustas.
Speaker 11 (45:40):
But here we are.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
Here we are quick quick question to to just ask this.
How does it make you feel that he didn't show
up the next day? Does it make you feel great
because maybe he was exhausted, or does it make you
feel like he's ghosting you a little bit.
Speaker 5 (45:57):
About I don't think I felt ghosted because I wasn't
like because like it wasn't like I've met my soulmate
and this is what it is. But it was more
like we have fun, who cares? And I think he
was more embarrassed, not by me, but by the fact that, like,
I'm a part of the friend group even though I'm
(46:19):
not there all I'm the friend that.
Speaker 4 (46:21):
Comes in and out.
Speaker 5 (46:23):
He was, stop, so these are all of my friends
in Chicago, so I'm not there super often.
Speaker 4 (46:29):
I do pretty regularly, so I see him a few times.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
Throughout the year, and uh, I think he was more like,
I can't believe I did that in the friend here's
my question.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
I'm gonna asker out and when then you say your comment,
because I'm gonna have the listeners call up about this.
Did megan in this guy commit a foul by f
in the friend group? Can you? Can you f in
the friend group? Can you do this? Or is that
a is there is that a rule that friend groups
the friend groups should not have any because I always
(46:59):
felt like whenever I watched friends back in the day,
like when those guys like would intersperse with each other,
it was like it always changed the dynamic of everything,
So eight or four Mojoe Live. You have to be
the type of people that can.
Speaker 10 (47:10):
If you allow it to change the dynamic, then it
will because I think oftentimes people get weird in those
situations yep, and they think it has to change the
dynamic being that is has to change, but it really doesn't.
So my quest in this situation, did your friends see
you guys hanging out and talking like was there?
Speaker 4 (47:27):
Everybody knew what had happened, got you before it even.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
Happened, gotcha, you know what I mean? Yeah, so it
wasn't like that wasn't a big deal.
Speaker 5 (47:33):
And I think that's what the problem is is, I think,
and I hope our listeners don't hear it this way.
Speaker 4 (47:38):
I'm not upset he didn't call me. I'm not upset
he didn't have you talked at all. No, I'm not
upset about it. I don't really care why I'm upset
you didn't show up when he said he would. Yeah,
because then it makes me look bad.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
So he didn't even come to the wedding.
Speaker 5 (47:51):
No, all of this happened at the wedding. Our fun
activities happened because of the wedding.
Speaker 1 (47:57):
Did people know that you guys had hooked up when
the event started on Saturday? Or did yeah? Okay, so
they knew. Did they all turn to you and go
what happened?
Speaker 4 (48:06):
A lot of them were like where isy?
Speaker 1 (48:09):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (48:11):
And that is not I'm sorry, but none of my business.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
No textures here are texting in? This is interesting one.
I just asked the question and asked and said, Megan,
do you feel like he one night stand you?
Speaker 5 (48:29):
Yeah, but like I don't care, it doesn't doesn't care, okay,
you know what I mean? Like I went into it
with the expectations of that.
Speaker 4 (48:36):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (48:37):
Yeah, Janelle, what's up? It's moje in the morning, Good morning,
good morning? What's going on?
Speaker 28 (48:43):
I think that you can I.
Speaker 26 (48:45):
Agree with Kevin. If you don't want to change the
dynamic of the front group, it's fine. I don't know,
I think or if you're all adults or act like adults,
it should be fine. It shouldn't really cause so it's.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
Okay to f in the friend group, then it's okay
for these guys to fool around with each other.
Speaker 26 (49:03):
I say, yes, my friend group had people that stated
each other and it didn't work out. But we're all
still friends.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
So I guess it's just a fun do you have
to say? And I don't know if any people had
experienced this at all. If you have, I want to
hear your your personal experience. But do you have to
sit there and say before you have you know, sex,
which would be weird? This can't change our dynamic of
the friend group or afterwards, which is funny because we
did have it, did you okay?
Speaker 26 (49:30):
Mention that I think point make it weird?
Speaker 1 (49:34):
Texture just text in seven three four says Megan. Have
you talked to him since you guys did this?
Speaker 8 (49:40):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (49:40):
Okay, So that's none of my business.
Speaker 10 (49:43):
The weird thing is this is kind of the perfect
situation where even though you're in the same friend group,
you guys don't see each other all the time.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
I know, It's like, how could it get weird?
Speaker 5 (49:52):
They couldn't even see each other, Sam, This could have
been best case scenario.
Speaker 4 (49:55):
This could have been infrequent like quarterly check ins.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
Yes, how you do it.
Speaker 5 (50:00):
Let's have some fun still be But I don't know,
because he's now ruining the friend group, like because of
his actions. Now everybody's pissed.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
Gabrielle, Hi, Hey.
Speaker 6 (50:10):
I think you were in the group.
Speaker 4 (50:13):
How did I do it?
Speaker 28 (50:16):
Well?
Speaker 23 (50:16):
You guys ruined it together. Because of sixty million people
in the world.
Speaker 25 (50:20):
Fifty million people in the world, you nobody cares how
there's this awkward dynamic or no dynamic at all, really
is what it sounds like.
Speaker 4 (50:28):
But nobody cares that we hooked up. That's not the problem.
The problem is he made it weird and didn't show
up the next day.
Speaker 24 (50:34):
Yeah, so that's why we should have picked someone else
to do it, gabriel fault.
Speaker 33 (50:40):
I showed up, that's true, and.
Speaker 25 (50:43):
We know sometimes we can be a little bit stronger
than they can.
Speaker 24 (50:45):
They're weak for his weak behavior.
Speaker 5 (50:50):
I think she's blaming both the smart intellectual woman, I
am not taking a fall for a dumb ass man, Gabrielle.
Speaker 1 (50:59):
This is given Magnane some great stripes and props because
she put it on so great that this guy couldn't
show up the next morning.
Speaker 12 (51:06):
He disappeared exactly exactly are his weakness?
Speaker 1 (51:16):
Wow, Lily, what's happening A first time?
Speaker 4 (51:24):
Long time?
Speaker 1 (51:28):
Nice to have you on.
Speaker 28 (51:30):
I'm so glad.
Speaker 23 (51:32):
I'm on my way to work right now.
Speaker 32 (51:35):
So I met my best friend through work and her
husband's best friend put in a like eight year long
relationship before this, and there was like a whole bunch
of details and everything with that. But we met at
her son's birthday party and he thought it was cute
(52:00):
and so we started talking and then we dated for
like two months, and then he totally ghosted me and
everyone in the front group.
Speaker 25 (52:07):
Oh no, now that we're.
Speaker 32 (52:09):
Working back together, like we're working together now, all of us,
and now it's just super awkward and he doesn't even want.
Speaker 23 (52:18):
To talk to us.
Speaker 1 (52:19):
Oh geez, do you feel like you ruined the friend
group or he ruined the friend group?
Speaker 32 (52:24):
I definitely think that he ruined it, to be honest,
I have no hard feelings or anything. But he said
that he wanted to make a munds with everyone since
he ghosted everyone. Yeah, and he like just now did that.
Speaker 22 (52:40):
And we broke up in like February.
Speaker 1 (52:43):
This is interesting, So it's almost a similar thing that
Megan had happened to her. Whitney, you also had a
situation like this too. Huh, Oh, your phone's bad? There
are you there?
Speaker 18 (52:54):
All that?
Speaker 23 (52:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (52:55):
I did about fifteen years ago one of my female friends.
Speaker 26 (52:58):
In a couple of.
Speaker 23 (52:59):
Months, my husband's friends at different times, they all. You know,
everybody needs to make this easy, you know.
Speaker 35 (53:05):
Yeah, they all looked up and our wedding was perfect.
Speaker 17 (53:08):
They all got a lot, all their shoppings were there,
so we didn't make anything awkward.
Speaker 1 (53:13):
Yeah, so it actually was not a bad situation.
Speaker 17 (53:16):
Then, well that's.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
What normal adults do. This guy, obviously is not a
normal adult.
Speaker 29 (53:23):
Adrian, what's up, good guys, Megan, you home recruit you.
Speaker 8 (53:31):
I sent my life.
Speaker 13 (53:33):
I'm just speaking from experience. I don't know what's going
on with their friends or whatnot. I bet you've seen
one of the friends that in the group that Megan.
Speaker 18 (53:40):
Moved out of there?
Speaker 13 (53:41):
WHOA do you have a part of the friend group anymore?
Speaker 1 (53:44):
So you're thinking that now that he had his fun
with Megan, that there may be something in the past
that he might have had with the other people.
Speaker 20 (53:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (53:52):
Did anybody act awkward at all in that friend group?
Speaker 5 (53:54):
No, nobody acted awkward, and everybody knew what had happened
before it had happened, because I am a good friend,
and I cleared the situation room with everybody.
Speaker 4 (54:06):
You know, we had a debriefing before any action was made.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Yeah, but so everything, everything is good.
Speaker 8 (54:12):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (54:12):
Some people might say, I seek to counsel.
Speaker 1 (54:14):
Okay, yeah, just to make sure. Yeah. Good, So you
have no no bad feelings right now? Your conscience is clear, No, Caitlin,
what's up?
Speaker 17 (54:22):
Hey?
Speaker 33 (54:23):
So I'm thinking, how do you even know he was
gonna like show up even if him and Meghan didn't
like Pike cookies.
Speaker 1 (54:30):
He just might be a guy. Anyways, Why is it her?
Speaker 2 (54:33):
Like?
Speaker 23 (54:34):
It's not her responsibility for his poor choices?
Speaker 33 (54:37):
So, like, I don't understand why people are trying to
put the blame on both of them when, like, if
they both went into it, you're both adults.
Speaker 23 (54:43):
It's good to go.
Speaker 6 (54:44):
It's his choice for not showing up, it's not Megan's faults.
Speaker 1 (54:47):
Yeah did you? This, by the way, is the best
second date update we've had in a while. Maybe we'll
get him back on the phone with us.
Speaker 3 (54:56):
In the morning's Dirty on the Thirty.
Speaker 1 (54:58):
Listen to what we have coming up here next the show.
Right after we get done with The Dirty and the Thirty,
which Meghan's in for Shannon this morning, We've got a
shot for you to win tickets to go to see
Taylor Swift's Aras tour in Indianapolis. And we'll tell you
how you can win. Coming up right after this, and
then we have a trip to Florida, another trip to
Florida that we're going to be given away. We'll be
(55:20):
going to Orlando at eight o'clock, Meghan with What's trending,
What's going on?
Speaker 8 (55:24):
Max?
Speaker 5 (55:25):
So, Diddy is about to be hit with a second
batch of sexual assault lawsuits, including allegations involving the assault
of a thirteen year old girl. A Texas lawyer announced
the seven new claims last night, and more than a
hundred other potential victims have come forward. Two of the
new alleged victims were teenagers at the time that they
(55:47):
were abused, and four of them are males. The lawsuits
are expected to be filed in the US District Court
in Manhattan overnight. Their contents should be made public soon after.
If so, I will keep you updated.
Speaker 4 (56:00):
With all of those details.
Speaker 1 (56:01):
And when it rains, it pours for Diddy. I tell you,
I wonder when some of this stuff is going to
be going to a court. I don't think it's going
to be for a long time. This guy's gonna be
sitting in prison for a while because he keeps getting
denied any kind of bail.
Speaker 5 (56:16):
Well, they had to arrest him at the very beginning
of this so that he didn't slee, So I'm guessing
it's going to be a while too, I go right.
Liam Payne's sister has posted online since the death of
her one direction brother and it is really heartbreaking, you guys.
Her name is Ruth Gibbons, and she posted a pretty
long statement on her Insta with several photos of her
and her brother, But the really devastating part of the
(56:39):
caption was at the very end, she writes, I'm sorry
I couldn't save you.
Speaker 4 (56:43):
In another part of the post, she had you just
wanted to be loved and to make people happy with
your music. You never believed you were good enough.
Speaker 5 (56:50):
I hope you can now see the outpouring of love
that you never received in your time, which is, like
I said, gud rushing to read the messages from the
people that were truly the closest to him, including the
mother of his son. She posted about how much she
loved him and wanting privacy throughout this whole process for
her and her son as well, because it's just terrible
(57:10):
to go through.
Speaker 1 (57:11):
Did you see all of the tributes that were all
over the world. I mean they had him in London,
they had him in New York City, and then what
was the where did he end up dying?
Speaker 4 (57:21):
It was Argentina.
Speaker 5 (57:22):
I've got a story about the hotel and Argentina coming
up in a leader dirty involving some of his family.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
I mean, there were literally in every city, there were
hundreds upon hundreds of people that came out and were
doing tributes to Liam.
Speaker 4 (57:35):
It's crazy, crazy.
Speaker 5 (57:37):
So I think we're missing out on a few conversations
this year about the Lions that I would like to
have now a few. Number one, Jared Goff should be
in the conversations involving who the MVP is going to be, okay,
and should we talked about as the current best quarterback
in the league, especially the last few weeks and on
that wholeheartedly. And it kind of frustrates me, and I
(58:01):
think as a lifelong Liance fans, we all know that
we kind of get the short end of the stick
in these conversations.
Speaker 4 (58:06):
Even when we're doing well, we're never really included or
it's very dismissed as like both well, it's the first
time a needy year.
Speaker 5 (58:12):
I don't care if it's the first time he should
be included in those conversations. But the one player that
we are not hyping up enough because to be fair,
Jared Goff gets a lot.
Speaker 4 (58:21):
Of love from the city. I think we need to
be giving the kicker.
Speaker 5 (58:24):
Jake Bates a lot of love, especially this morning, because
that win yesterday against the Vikings is one thousand percent
on his shoulders.
Speaker 4 (58:32):
After the game, he did get the game ball from
Dan Campbell.
Speaker 1 (58:44):
Hey, how about the offense getting us in position?
Speaker 4 (58:46):
Man with like a minute and a half left, getting
down there? Man, we trust your guys with everything.
Speaker 19 (58:50):
And then Biel the line man, and I really appreciate
you guys, and then Hogan and jack Man.
Speaker 2 (58:55):
You want his starts?
Speaker 1 (58:56):
You won the game. They're home this weekend, right, yes, Titans.
Speaker 4 (59:00):
So do we get a Jake Baits check going.
Speaker 1 (59:02):
I don't know, I think we should. Did you see
what they do in practice for him?
Speaker 18 (59:07):
They?
Speaker 1 (59:07):
Dan Campbell talked during the press conference afterwards, they pumped
the arena full of lots of noise, and then Dan
Campbell stands next to him screaming at him while he
is trying to, you know, kick forty to fifty to
sixty yard field goals. This guy was a USFL player
making I think it was like what less than a
(59:28):
grand game back in the day.
Speaker 30 (59:30):
I think they make like fifty five a season.
Speaker 1 (59:32):
Fifty five one hundred or fifty five thousand dollars the
USFL guys. And you played last hour that he was
going to be a brick miss sales.
Speaker 4 (59:42):
He was severing bricks. He let go.
Speaker 5 (59:46):
He was drafted to an NFL team and was let
go in the preseason. Yeah, and then he went to
sell bricks and then got the call for this seems
to be uh really working out for him now, So
I think we should just get a Jake baits Chet going,
all right, Jake.
Speaker 18 (01:00:02):
You can't.
Speaker 4 (01:00:06):
Let's give some Jake Bates way too.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Kickers to That's like the most lonely job ever is
a kicker because until until it's all on your leg. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
Maybe Matt Prater was a great kicker for US. Yeah,
as long as it was over forty yards. If it
was under, it was a little risky. Here's a quick
fact though, this is something that popped up on the googles.
The last time the Lions beat a five and o
team was exactly fifty years to the date yesterday and
that five and oh team was soon Minnesota vikes.
Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
Minnesota repeats, what do I get? You get another bill?
Speaker 28 (01:00:40):
Who?
Speaker 4 (01:00:40):
Number one in the NFC? Northist?
Speaker 16 (01:00:42):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
I think we do a line in the NFC.
Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
I think we.
Speaker 5 (01:00:47):
Don's number two in the league overall.
Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
Yeah, all right, that's all I want to say. Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:00:56):
Jennifer Lawrence is officially expecting baby.
Speaker 4 (01:01:00):
For two with her husband Cook Marooney.
Speaker 5 (01:01:02):
A picture had been posted with John Forer and a
baby bump, and her rep did confirm she is in
fact expecting again.
Speaker 4 (01:01:09):
She does have a two year old son named Si.
Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
That's pretty much the only information we know about her
two year old to don't expect any information on this pregnancy.
We don't have a due date, we don't have a gender,
a name, anything like that, because she's incredibly private when
it comes to her personal life.
Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
But congratulations for her. Baby number two is a coming.
Speaker 5 (01:01:27):
Candace can't sign Candas Is that what you figure it's
gonna Be're just calling it now.
Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
I need the name to be Candace, all right? Everdean,
if you're nasty, put.
Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
Some money on it. Candace Everdeen. Her name was Catness
in that movie.
Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
I'll think you can name a daughter cat. I'm just
gonna meet her halfway, so.
Speaker 5 (01:01:43):
You're gonna go pretty similar to what Gotet teased. Check
out all of today's dirties but gets it enough on
the Moji in the Morning podcast on the Free iHeartRadio
app Thank You.
Speaker 3 (01:01:54):
Celebrity dirt directly is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (01:01:57):
It's dirty of a thirty, all right, it is Mojo
in the Morning. Nicole, are you there? Nicole?
Speaker 6 (01:02:07):
Hi?
Speaker 18 (01:02:07):
Mojo Hi?
Speaker 1 (01:02:08):
Nicole from Royal Oak. Is that where you're from? Yeah,
Nicole from Royal Oak is a winner? And you got tickets. Congratulations,
you're going to see our jingle Ball. Who you most
excited to see at jingle Ball this year?
Speaker 29 (01:02:22):
I'm really good for Teddy Swims.
Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
Yeah, Teddy Swim is gonna be good. A lot of
people are. I would probably say that Teddy Swims is
the artist that is getting the most love, followed by
Jason de Rulo and then followed by Jack Harlow, which
is a pretty whild Congrats to you. We've got jingle
Ball twenty twenty four happening in Detroit Little Caesars Arena's
(01:02:44):
presented by Capitol One. You got a pair of free tickets. Congrats,
thank you so much. Hang on the phone for just
one second. Mojo in the morning show trip to Florida
coming up at eight o'clock, keV and Meghan, myself, Mojo,
We've got kp Lydia.
Speaker 9 (01:03:02):
Zach.
Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
Shannon is out this morning. She is a chaperoning Lucy's
overnight field trip that she has, so she's got a
little time off today and tomorrow so that she could
be a chaperone of a bunch of ten year old children.
She chaperones all the rest of us the rest of
the week. A cap Yeah, I like chaperone, Yeah, chaperone.
(01:03:28):
Cav Almost a fire.
Speaker 10 (01:03:30):
At the crib was a fire? Do I sound like
you as at a fire at the crib? You can't
like put the emphasis on it like that, but yeah,
just let it roll off being literal. It wasn't almost.
It was a definite fire. So Happy birthday to Charrelle's aunt,
Aunt Kathy. Aunt Kathy was celebrating a birthday and Sharrell
was going to the birthday party and she was getting ready,
(01:03:51):
and a part of her getting ready, she was straightening
her hair before she was about to crill it and
do whatever she was going to do to it, and
she was using a hot cone. No, if you don't
know what a hot comb is, hot comb is like
a regular comb, but it's metal, it's hot, and it's hot.
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
Basically, Honestly, I don't know hot comb because I've never
used her a hot comb. I don't think Chelsea's used
She's just curling irons.
Speaker 4 (01:04:15):
Made for your hair.
Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
They're made your hair, not our hair. Oh, got you, Okay,
it's made for hair, different type of hair, so, Charille,
So look, so this is how you do it.
Speaker 10 (01:04:31):
So in order to heat up the hot com you
gotta put it on the stove. So you heat up
the stove, you lay the metal hot comb on it,
and then it'll get hot. Okay, you take the hot
comb off the stove and use that to straighten your hair.
So Charrelle is putting the hot comb on the stove,
letting it get hot, and she's going back and forth
from the stove to the bathroom and straighten her hair
(01:04:52):
and do whatever she gotta do. So I'm sitting on
the couch chilling. Josiah walked past. He's like, it's so fine, yea,
it's so fire like, what is going on?
Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
Then? I started to sell smoke.
Speaker 10 (01:05:05):
Then the microwave little automatic fan come on because I
guess it recognizes that smoke's in the air.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
And that's nice.
Speaker 4 (01:05:12):
That very nice.
Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
It came with the place it goes. I turn around,
it's literally on fire.
Speaker 10 (01:05:19):
So the hot comb has like a rubber handle that
I guess Charille didn't make sure that the rubber handle,
the rubber handle wasn't on the hot part of the stove,
so the rubber handle is now on fire. Sharill walks
in like this is a normal thing. She's like, oh,
it's okay. It's just I don't even I don't know
how she put out the fire. I don't know if
she was wanderings.
Speaker 24 (01:05:39):
I don't know what.
Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
Happened, explain women tas. I would be running out of
the house. I would stop dropping roll.
Speaker 4 (01:05:47):
That's how you lose a whole house.
Speaker 9 (01:05:48):
I run.
Speaker 1 (01:05:52):
Ship. She's amazing. That's that's like, by the way, unbelievable
that she was so calm and just put it right now.
Speaker 10 (01:05:58):
I had to have happened to her, because I don't
know how you see a hot comb on fire like
you can literally see as a blaze.
Speaker 1 (01:06:04):
It wasn't like some little baby fire. It was enough
to make the microwave go off. In my mind, that's
a real fire. So a quick question, is this something
that is common of hot combs where hot combs start
on fire, or I've never seen a hot comb on
fire though that I'll say. I have to yell at
you else all the time over the fact that she
leaves her curling iron plugged in, and she has told
(01:06:26):
me before that, oh, well, they'll just automatically go off
at a certain time. I'm like, I don't trust that
stuff anything. I don't trust any kind of a thing.
Do you ever leave your curling iron just plugged right in?
Speaker 5 (01:06:35):
Well, it depends because some of them are made where
they have like an automatic shut off. Okay, I do
not have a single piece of hot equipment that has
that feature. So I'm shocked. I have not burned a
house down.
Speaker 4 (01:06:46):
I will tell you the most terrifying thing that I've ever.
Speaker 5 (01:06:49):
Done was I accidentally left a straightener on for an
entire weekend when we went on a trip. And I
know my dad is listening right now, Soarscott Mack, don't
worry the house and Spruce. It didn't burn down. But
that's why there was a burn in the carpet that
you kept asking about. Was it wasn't setting Like girls
know this. You can set your straightener like up and
it still is hot, but like the hot plates aren't
(01:07:10):
touching anything, Like the plastic will get so hot that
that gets the floor warm. But I left it on
and like laying down so that both the hot plates
were touching the carpet. Have no idea how the house
was standing when we got home.
Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
Three days later.
Speaker 30 (01:07:23):
Oh my god, wow, three days three days. But you
were lucky.
Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
By the way.
Speaker 1 (01:07:30):
Firefighter Bill would not be happy. You guys are pulling
all stuff. Eight four four Mojo Live eight four four
six six five six five four eight. What did you
do that almost started or did start the fire? I
feel like we're gonna get a phone call here from
the fire marshal and uh, somebody, he's not going to
be happy with us that day, you know what I mean.
(01:07:52):
We're going to get ourselves into a little bit of
trouble for this. Eight four four Mojo Live eight four
four sixty six five six five four eight is the
telephone number? Did Cherrelle learn her lesson?
Speaker 9 (01:08:07):
Like?
Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
Did you have to did you have to get did
you have to give her a talking to after this.
Speaker 10 (01:08:11):
I think this is par for the course. This is
every day for her. Really, like she she kind of
knows what she's doing.
Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
Do you think that part of her coolness of doing
this was the fact that she just didn't want you
to give her a lecture afterwards. No, I don't think
I was in her mind at all, to be honest
with you, really walking around in her robe doing her
hair and this was just regularly scheduled. This is just
how it goes.
Speaker 10 (01:08:36):
I've never seen a hot com catch on fire, though
I've seen my mom my, cousins, my grandma. I don't
know what happened to Sharilla, but she didn't recognize what
was going on. Hey almost made the price. Catherine, what's
going on?
Speaker 23 (01:08:50):
I'm calling about the house getting set on fire?
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
Yeah, what was it?
Speaker 23 (01:08:54):
We love savvy slider boxes on the stove and we
ran the store quick and when we came back, the
house was on the stove was on fire because our
dogs was trying to jump up there and grab them.
Speaker 27 (01:09:08):
Oh no, he was jumping up there.
Speaker 23 (01:09:10):
He's the start of the Like the sparker.
Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
On the stove, you always end up hearing these stories
about the dog that starts the fire. That that doesn't
ever surprise me, that that happens with dogs jumping up
on you know, stoves and stuff like that. It's not
a good thing.
Speaker 23 (01:09:26):
The whole house was full of smoke and we had
to replace the top of the stove.
Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
By the way, It's worth it for savvy sliders, though,
isn't it. There's just something about him, Jackie, what's up?
It's Mojo in the morning. How are you.
Speaker 29 (01:09:43):
Hey there?
Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
It took us talking about you almost burned that.
Speaker 28 (01:09:49):
Saying oh my god, but no, my mo the cheeth
burn a pot of green. We lived in an apartment
in Southfield and how apartment door. The fire extinguisher was
right outside our apartment door. I'm in my room, she's
in herr room.
Speaker 22 (01:10:06):
We're getting ready.
Speaker 28 (01:10:07):
All of a sudden, my cousin comes.
Speaker 23 (01:10:08):
To says, the kitchen boat fire.
Speaker 28 (01:10:10):
She said, calm, we're running there. I put my mother.
Speaker 23 (01:10:13):
I'll get the.
Speaker 28 (01:10:14):
Fire extinguisher when I get the kids out the apartment.
He comes back and says, what do I do? It says,
break the glass. This time the fire is on the
ceiling on the counter. We had to call it.
Speaker 23 (01:10:29):
And now I want one.
Speaker 28 (01:10:30):
They had to come out with the fire out. I'm
so glad they got there when they give because they
were not the only union in the party. Contholic were
gonna burnt the whole down building down.
Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
I'm telling you, don't you remember when you were a
kid and they would do those tests in school where
you had to like get out of school fast when
they did the fire alarms.
Speaker 28 (01:10:50):
That's so different when you got something burning.
Speaker 1 (01:10:53):
Yeah, you gotta you gotta practice that in your home too.
You gotta learn absolutely, you gotta keep calm. I'm the
one that's just like you. I get all crazy. Chelsea
would have to put out the fire by yourself. What's up, Jasmine?
Speaker 24 (01:11:07):
Hey, So I just was calling to say that canvas tripping,
like the hot comb catching on fire is part of
the routine. I know that it's really ready. Paper towel, Yeah,
wipe it on there, and that's how you know it's
it's ready for your hair, A white towel.
Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
It's probably a paper.
Speaker 24 (01:11:31):
Towel, A white towel.
Speaker 4 (01:11:33):
Yeah, Okay, it.
Speaker 10 (01:11:36):
Has to be a different way for you to tell
it's hot though, having it on fire can't be the
it's ready.
Speaker 4 (01:11:41):
That was the crazy part about hearing about one of those.
Do you know the name of the curlers that are
used the same way as a hot comb.
Speaker 12 (01:11:49):
It's the hot and Gold.
Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:11:52):
So the first time I saw somebody use them and
they say, you know, it's ready to use when it
burns the towel, I.
Speaker 3 (01:11:57):
Was like, how is that?
Speaker 1 (01:12:03):
Yeah? Hold on a second, hold on, I'm gonna call
up a buddy of ours. I'm calling Chief James Harris
from the uh Detroit Fire Department right now, sexiest fireman
in Detroit. You can get him on the phone with
us right now. I want to. I want him to
give hirella citation.
Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
Your call has been The person you're trying to reach
is not available.
Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
Please record your message.
Speaker 4 (01:12:30):
When you have finished recording, you may hang up.
Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
Chief. What's up? It's Mojo. I've got somebody that we
need to issue a citation too. Will you please call
me back here at the radio station anytime it is available.
I will break into coverage for you. Talk to you later. Goodbye.
Speaker 30 (01:12:47):
All right, it's probably putting out a fire.
Speaker 1 (01:12:50):
That probably is You're trip to Florida Orlando. You and
a friend, all expense paid trip courtesy of a visit

Speaker 8 (01:13:02):

Oh my gosh, what a trip.
Speaker 26 (01:14:11):

Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
Yeah, So Friday morning, say a prayer that you're the
grand prize winner.
Speaker 26 (01:14:17):
Okay, Friday morning, Friday morning.
Speaker 1 (01:14:20):
Friday morning. All right, so read fourth throwback to rough Down.
We'll pick the grand prize winner. Hang on the phone, right, thanks,
all right, it's Mojo in the morning show. I'm gonna
have Lydia come in from the other room where she
answers phones and screens calls, and I'm gonna have her
do the next topic here on this show. Uh, Lydia
(01:14:42):
rekindled an old relationship and now she's willing to talk
about it on the air because she said that this
is a way to cleanse your soul. I feel like
I should put on my Pope costume for this one here,
so that you can confess to to Father Mojo. That's right, Okay,
what's going on, Lydia?
Speaker 21 (01:15:03):
Well, Father, forgive me for I have sinned. Let's start.
Let's start with that.
Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
What happened?
Speaker 21 (01:15:08):
So for some time now, I've been in contact with
a guy that you guys know, and I wanted to
rekindle this relationship with him.
Speaker 1 (01:15:21):
Oh no, no, I know.
Speaker 21 (01:15:24):
And before you guys judge me, because this is what
I'm most nervous about. I love this guy so much
that I was willing to try again with him.
Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
Oh my goodness, no no, no, no, no, no, no, no, really.
Speaker 21 (01:15:41):
Yeah, But unfortunately, it's like when you are going back
to the same thing that hurt you, you're only going
to get the same outcome. And that's what happened to me.
So last Saturday, you know, I was spending time by
myself and I was supposed to hang out with this
said guy, and he canceled on me for family reasons,
(01:16:03):
which I understood, But that night I had the courage
to tell him I don't want to do life completely
by myself. I want to have a companion, someone that
I can share life with, someone I can get married to,
and someone I can have kids with. And as I
was telling him this, I felt like he had no
interest in what I was saying whatsoever. And he's like,
we will talk about this tomorrow, and I was like, Okay,
(01:16:24):
next day comes, Everything's fine, it's going good. And then
he lays it down on me later on in the
day over text, telling me that he doesn't think he'll
be able to get married in the time span that
I want to get married in and that he needs
to let me go instead of working on things, which
really upset me. As you guys saw on Monday morning,
I was a mess. But look at us a week later.
Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Guy, Wow, you're able to talk about it. Sometimes you
need to have a little bit of that week just
to kind of pull things together. Can we ask questions? Uh?
Speaker 21 (01:16:56):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (01:16:58):
So you got a hotel room because you're going to hook.
Speaker 21 (01:17:00):
Up with his I was not going to hook up
with him. We were just going to go out to
dinner either way. I never hooked up with this guy.
I want to make it well, No hotel, No, I
was spending the weekend by myself, which I just was
doing a staycation. But he was gonna come.
Speaker 4 (01:17:13):
Okay, okay, okay, we got we got.
Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
Lydia in here too, and we got the guy that
we all don't want her to hang out with. All right,
but enough of that. Okay, So Lydia, first off, we're
not going to judge you because everybody has a moment
(01:17:49):
of weakness, but we don't necessarily want you to, you know, ever,
be unhappy and not with us. But you took a
week to tell us on this because you were just
feeling that it was too fresh to talk about.
Speaker 21 (01:18:08):
Yeah, and I didn't know if I could keep my
feelings together like I had posted as TikTok and it
was about me being sad. And then I realized a
couple days in that I was getting less sad and
less sad, and it took a full circle for me
to be like, you know what, I'm that girl, and
I don't need to be upset, like you don't want
to be in my life and you don't see me
as your wife. God bless you, and I hope you
(01:18:29):
find your wife. But I just know that I should
have been that one. Yeah, and you just got to
move with grace.
Speaker 10 (01:18:37):
And sometimes I feel like when you get your heart
broken or you have a vision that your life is
going to look a certain way and it doesn't, it
leaves this hole. And the easiest way to feel that
hole is with the thing that was once there. And
I think that's why we reach out to that, because, yeah,
it created the whole, and I want that piece to
(01:18:59):
be there, but it left.
Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
And when you reached out to him, obviously you thought
things were going to be good. You thought that his
feelings were also going to be the same.
Speaker 21 (01:19:09):
This was someone that I thought, even though we've been
through so much, I was like, I actually want to
marry you, Like I want to make things work with you.
You know, you choose your person and that's somebody that
you trust and you love regardless of what you've been through.
You just feel it. And I was like, this is
who I I do want to be with in the end.
But I guess he just didn't feel the same.
Speaker 1 (01:19:30):
I give him credit though, because he had you in
a very vulnerable situation and he could have easily led
you down that path of messing with your heart.
Speaker 21 (01:19:43):
Of course he said that he's like, I just don't
want to disappoint you, and for that I.
Speaker 1 (01:19:47):
Respect him, which I will tell you this. I think
majority of guys would have would have just you know,
look to you as pray, you know, yeah, don't you agree, ka,
most guys I know for sure, for sure, for sure,
for sure that could happen. That was a very grown
up thing that he did. And so props to you
man that I don't want Lydiad to do it.
Speaker 21 (01:20:07):
I wish that he had picked up the phone and
called me or met me up in person, because I
feel like what we've been through is so much more
than just an overtext thing. And to let me go
like you don't care, which is what he did, Yeah,
made me feel kind of low.
Speaker 4 (01:20:20):
How many times has this conversation Manhattan?
Speaker 21 (01:20:23):
He's done this to me five times? Like this is
like his fifth time telling me he doesn't want to
disappoint me if he can't marry me, but then also
telling me he can't live without me, which doesn't make
sense to me. But he said we can still be
best friends, which I declined.
Speaker 4 (01:20:36):
Were those in person conversations?
Speaker 32 (01:20:39):
Right?
Speaker 21 (01:20:40):
It was very rare where there's probably two times where
he's told me that, and that's when we've been on
our off time. So it's like off and on, off
and on for years and eventually it's I guess it
just got exhausting, right, he.
Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
Only has his strength over text. It seems like, yeah,
to do it.
Speaker 4 (01:20:55):
Well, she just said they did it sometimes in person.
Speaker 21 (01:20:57):
There wasn't twice where he's probably done that, would.
Speaker 1 (01:20:59):
Say comment from Brionna on this Lydia just shared with
us something very personal, Brianna, And what did you want
to say?
Speaker 36 (01:21:09):
I just wanted to say.
Speaker 14 (01:21:11):
In the great words of Steve Hardy, Harvey.
Speaker 36 (01:21:13):
Don't let a man tell you twice that he don't
want you, and you are so much more worth more
than anything else. Yeah, and don't ever go back because
it's never good.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
Rough Lydia, could you ever see yourself taking him back
if he did say, all right, now, I'm ready.
Speaker 21 (01:21:37):
But I don't know if I believe that. Do I
believe that you're ready for the sixth time? Do I
believe that you love me and you won't leave me?
Speaker 1 (01:21:44):
I don't know, Mike, what's going on?
Speaker 13 (01:21:48):
Hey, how's it going?
Speaker 29 (01:21:49):
Guys?
Speaker 37 (01:21:49):
I got some advice for Lydia.
Speaker 13 (01:21:51):
I like, I know it's hard. It's very hard when
you feel that way, but I've learned the hard way
in these situations. You got to let this situation, you know,
can't go out searching for it, because when you search
for it, all the wrong things happen. So you got
to let what happens naturally be the best thing for you.
Speaker 1 (01:22:09):
Yeah. Well, and we all know Lydia, right. You know, Lydia,
you're a listener of the show. You've been here for
a while. She deserves the best and amen, And for
her to think that this guy is going to come
around would be settling, Lydia, and as your brothers and
sisters and fathers and all the other people like that,
(01:22:29):
we want to be to you. We want you to
know that there is the right, the best out there
for you. And you just got to understand that and understand.
I know you're a woman of faith, a strong woman
of faith. You got to understand that God already knows
who it is. It's already somebody walking around right now.
Speaker 6 (01:22:47):
You know.
Speaker 21 (01:22:47):
Amen.
Speaker 1 (01:22:48):
So I love that you called. Thanks so much for that. Mike.
What's up, Melissa?
Speaker 12 (01:22:54):
Okay, I have a quote. Because Lydia is a person
of faith. This is which you need to remember. God
will black your values from people who are not assigned
to your destiny, Lydia. Everything happens for a reason.
Speaker 24 (01:23:07):
God has a plan for you.
Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
Yeah. How do you feel like last weekend was for her?
Don't you think last weekend was a good growth moment
for her instead.
Speaker 12 (01:23:15):
Of exactly like you?
Speaker 1 (01:23:18):
And I know you were torn up. I mean I
could see it on your face when you came in
here on Monday. I mean, you are not the Lydia
that we know and love.
Speaker 21 (01:23:25):
Can I tell you something about that?
Speaker 5 (01:23:27):
Is?
Speaker 21 (01:23:27):
I was just going to try to write it out.
I wasn't going to share it with anybody. I was
going to deal with it in silence, and I couldn't
do it, Like my heart was hurting so bad. And
I'm like, Lydia, you can do this, but you have
to share it with the people who love you and
who you love.
Speaker 1 (01:23:41):
How does it feel that you shared it?
Speaker 21 (01:23:43):
It feels so much better. And I have like a
huge amount of support around me, including you guys, and
my family and my friends, and it's been it's been
pretty comforting because it's like there's so many people that
care about you. You don't have to focus on the
one who doesn't.
Speaker 1 (01:23:56):
You know, as Wild listeners were saying last week when
they were calling you that you sounded off yeah, and
that's just from them talking to you on hold.
Speaker 6 (01:24:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 21 (01:24:05):
And that's what would make me cry behind phones, is
when they could see that I couldn't put on a
smile for them, because that's my biggest goal and that's
what I pray for every day, is to make everyone's
day that I talked to at least in a positive impact.
And I couldn't do it that well last.
Speaker 1 (01:24:18):
Week, Ellie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning, Lydia
just admitted something very very hard for her to do,
but she did an amazing job doing it. What do
you want to say about this?
Speaker 25 (01:24:29):
Hey, Hey, Lydia. I don't want to take away from
the fact that you're incredibly.
Speaker 33 (01:24:33):
Strong to even you know, come on and share all
of this, so that I mean to you honestly to
even share it. I give you mad prop seriously. But
one thing I did want to say though, is that
I think experience I've shown everybody that men typically know
fairly quickly, you know, if they want to marry a
woman or not, and I think they let that be known.
So if they don't, you know, so I think you're
(01:24:55):
very smart in how you've you know, went about it
with what happened, because I think men, again, I think
they just know very quickly and they will definitely let
it be known. So if he if he was if
he said what he said about the opposite, or if
he just hasn't let on about marriage or you know,
you being the ones, then you're definitely doing.
Speaker 25 (01:25:14):
The right thing, and I don't think he should revisit it.
Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
I'm telling you I give him a lot of credit
because I know a lot of guys that don't let
you know, and then they just they like the comfort
of having somebody there, and then they have another twelve
other people with him too.
Speaker 10 (01:25:27):
But I mean, the actions will speak louder than the
words will. Just when they show you. You got to
believe him, Yeah, and not try to make excuses when
they behavior.
Speaker 1 (01:25:36):
Yeah, that's what man is exactly.
Speaker 32 (01:25:38):
Yeah, so accluded to him too as well, because he
was definitely honest and men will do that.
Speaker 23 (01:25:44):
Who do do that?
Speaker 24 (01:25:44):
You have to respect that.
Speaker 1 (01:25:46):
Yep, thank you for the call, Brian. What's up? It's
Mojo in the morning. Are you doing to what's going on?
Speaker 22 (01:25:54):
I just I think she's uh. I think he's disrespecting
everybody by keeping keep doing this tour. I mean five times.
You gotta you gotta start taking and looking at the
way he's treating you by his actions, and he's you're
allowing him to do this by coming back to him
(01:26:14):
every time he does this to you.
Speaker 8 (01:26:17):
So you've gotta you gotta.
Speaker 22 (01:26:18):
Respect yourself enough now to to move past it and
find somebody who's actually gonna back his words up and
be there for you, not keep on leaving and coming
back and leaving and coming back and it's not there
to you. It's not fair to your heart.
Speaker 4 (01:26:34):
Not at all.
Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
Yeah, and you know what, We're going to find that
person for her this Friday at our mote in morning
Losing Batties party that we're having our Halloween party dressed.
I'm bringing more Caldian. You should see all the Caldean
buddies of mine. Comment. I got the boys from the
golf course. He got a buffet fight. I do Jake
(01:26:57):
and Nobles showing up on Friday. They're coming out to
hang out. Tell me to move on. So that's right,
we're moving. You on, We're moving. It's gonna be fun. Lydia.
I'm proud of you, but I am also I am
also proud of him. I know this sounds weird to
say this, because I did not expect that of this man.
(01:27:18):
So I say to you, man who I do not
like Lydia hanging out with, because you you hurt her
very much. I I you lost your Yeah, I say
to you that I'm proud of you for being grown
up about this, because you had a vulnerable Lydia that
(01:27:39):
you could have taken advantage of. I disagree with you.
You know, I'm not proud of you. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:27:43):
Same.
Speaker 4 (01:27:44):
I'm really angry you said that.
Speaker 10 (01:27:46):
Why because I think if you, I wish I could cuss.
I think if you see a piece of spit sitting
in the toilet and it keeps telling you it's a
piece of spit.
Speaker 1 (01:27:56):
You don't need them to tell you it. You can
see it in the tolet.
Speaker 10 (01:27:59):
So for him to have his five or six times,
and like I'm telling you, this isn't the first time
he's apologized and said this before.
Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
All right, yes, okay, so why are we applauding his
But he could have shown up at the hotel and
had a gain't done it before. Well, but he could
have done that.
Speaker 10 (01:28:13):
No, she wasn't about to smash him. No, I know,
but I'm saying that he could have done that. I
don't respect him. He still he's still a piece of dumb.
He can't continue to be that. He shouldn't be applaud
of for it.
Speaker 21 (01:28:22):
That's one I loved. So that's why I kept going back,
And I guess I just have to move forward.
Speaker 1 (01:28:28):
So moving on to Noble in to Jake, put your
hands together, but grab hands, grab hands.
Speaker 4 (01:28:37):
No, it's so hard.
Speaker 1 (01:28:37):
Everybody you love Lydia. You'll do it all.
Speaker 8 (01:28:41):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (01:28:43):
We're going to so gross. We're going to say a
quick prayer for Lydia. Every ready, Yes we.
Speaker 36 (01:28:48):
Are, Oh my god, mariosf Honie brought him up the
weedy same and suffar.
Speaker 1 (01:28:58):
Amen. All right, we love you, we love you.
Speaker 3 (01:29:04):
It's the second date update on Mojoe in the morning.
Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
All right, time now for the second date update. Why
are you not getting a call We're gonna find out
this morning here on the show. If you are not
getting a call back after you've gone out on a
couple one or two dates, who knows, or it could
be like a long term relationship, text date to nine
five five zero zero and we'll get you on the show.
Sarah is on with us right now. Sarah, you're getting ghosted.
(01:29:29):
What's happening?
Speaker 25 (01:29:31):
Hye telling you we're doing good?
Speaker 1 (01:29:34):
So Sarah tell us about the person that's ghosting you
and then we'll find out some answers for you. How'd
you guys meet?
Speaker 6 (01:29:44):
We met on one of the apps.
Speaker 1 (01:29:46):
Okay, and have you guys been talking for a while?
Speaker 38 (01:29:51):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (01:29:52):
Yeah, I guess we talked for like a week week
and a half, and then we went out for dinner,
and we had a really great time and I thought
everything was good, and now I haven't heard from him,
and I'm I'm bummed about it.
Speaker 1 (01:30:14):
Okay, let's find out what's going on here. Okay, Jeremy
is on the phone with us right now. Jeremy, will
you say hello to Sarah?
Speaker 29 (01:30:22):
Hey Sarah?
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Oh, hi, hey Jeremy. So, Sarah says that you guys,
you guys met like everybody does. That, You guys been
talking like everybody does. You guys went on a date
like everybody does, and then you stop calling her like
it seems like everybody does. What's going on? Have you
just been busy and just haven't had an opportunity to
(01:30:44):
call her or what's going on?
Speaker 29 (01:30:47):
Yeah, I mean I've been pretty busy, so I just
haven't really been able to call her.
Speaker 1 (01:30:53):
So, but you know, it was fine, it was it
was fine, meaning the date was fine, Yeah, it was.
Speaker 13 (01:31:01):
It was all right.
Speaker 29 (01:31:02):
We had a good time. But you know, I've been busy,
haven't really been able to have time to call her back.
Speaker 1 (01:31:13):
That just doesn't seem like it's the full answer. It
sounds to me like you're only giving us partial answer.
Speaker 29 (01:31:18):
Yeah, I mean, the only thing was she had a
wedding ring on, which is kind of weird. M.
Speaker 4 (01:31:27):
Well, now I'm on your side.
Speaker 39 (01:31:29):
Oh yeah, so I'm a widow.
Speaker 6 (01:31:36):
And my husband passed away and I'm sorry.
Speaker 25 (01:31:42):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
How long ago did your husband pass away?
Speaker 29 (01:31:46):
Five years?
Speaker 1 (01:31:48):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:31:48):
Man?
Speaker 4 (01:31:49):
By the way, back back on your side.
Speaker 1 (01:31:51):
So you so your your your husband passed, your husband
died in you still wear the wedding ring?
Speaker 6 (01:32:01):
Yeah, you know, it's just been very hard to take off.
I finally started dating again that I'm so used to
it on my hand and uh, you know, I'm figuring
out how to how to move forward and trying to date.
And I really liked this guy, and I didn't know
(01:32:22):
if just the fact that I was a widow totally
freaked him out.
Speaker 5 (01:32:25):
But don't you think by wearing the ring and not
addressing it, it's just going to lean to problems like this,
because I think if you bring up I'm a widow,
I'm still uncomfortable taking this off. That's way more reasonable
than somebody showing up and not addressing the ring on
their hands.
Speaker 24 (01:32:43):
Well, I had told him, so you told him about
on the day, talked about it.
Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Oh so, Jeremy, So she told you about losing her husband,
and you still had a had kind of an issue
with her wearing the ring.
Speaker 29 (01:33:00):
Yeah, I mean, I'm sorry her husband died, but that
was five years ago.
Speaker 1 (01:33:07):
Now, sorry, I mean, she's.
Speaker 29 (01:33:13):
Still holding on the feelings. It's just I mean, it
was five years ago.
Speaker 1 (01:33:18):
But this is also her husband. This is somebody that
she loved. And I think, have you ever lost anybody
in your life, I mean, you lose a loved one,
you never forget.
Speaker 29 (01:33:30):
Yeah, but I'm not wearing a ring about it or
going out on dates and still bringing it up.
Speaker 1 (01:33:37):
But I gotta, I gotta tell you, Jeremy, And I
don't know if you necessarily mean it the way that
you mean it, because it comes awful, little harsh, But
when you lose somebody, even in breakups. You see people
lose people in breakups and it's tough, but to lose
somebody in death like this, I can't not even age
(01:34:00):
how hard that must be for Sarah. And if she's
just wearing the symbol of that, which is the ring,
she's at least getting back on her two feet and
going out on dates with you.
Speaker 29 (01:34:13):
Yeah, I mean, I get what you're saying, but I mean,
it just doesn't seem like she's moved on, so I
don't even know if she's.
Speaker 1 (01:34:21):
Ready to date. Do you feel like you're ready to date, Sarah?
I mean, obviously you will. You're out on a date.
Speaker 28 (01:34:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:34:31):
How many dates have you been on?
Speaker 6 (01:34:32):
Worn a ring on that hand?
Speaker 17 (01:34:34):
I've been on like.
Speaker 27 (01:34:37):
Three or four?
Speaker 6 (01:34:38):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (01:34:38):
Have anybody that you've gone on a date with had
any other concerns like this or this is the Jeremy's
is the only one.
Speaker 6 (01:34:47):
He's the big one so far. Wow the others. I
think we just kind of didn't feel sparky when we
were together. But I thought he and I had a
really nice conversation in time, and then I just I
didn't hear from it all, which, you know, maybe dating
has changed. I haven't done it in a long time.
Speaker 10 (01:35:07):
No, He's just so I'm clear, Sarah, you knew the ring,
You knew you had the ring on, and you decided
to keep it.
Speaker 18 (01:35:13):
On, right?
Speaker 1 (01:35:14):
You didn't?
Speaker 8 (01:35:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:35:17):
I didn't. I wasn't like hiding anything we talked about.
You know that my husband had passed away on the date,
and uh, and I had the ring on. Honestly, I've
always want to ring on my left hand. That's just
what's comfortable, and so I guess it's a little bit
of a security blanket.
Speaker 1 (01:35:36):
But did you ever consider did you ever consider not
to wear it on the date?
Speaker 10 (01:35:40):
Like, obviously you know I can I can only imagine
what you're experiencing it and I'm I'm telling you not
to feel that. But if you're going on a date,
did you ever consider that maybe the ring could potentially
not allow anybody to make a real connection because they
could think that you're still, you know, some way involved with.
Speaker 4 (01:35:56):
Your But aren't you always going to be that way
involved with something.
Speaker 5 (01:35:59):
I just because you're wearing the ring doesn't mean you're
not ready to date and experience new love and affection
and partnership. You can still say I loved this person,
I miss this person, and I want companionship in my life.
I don't feel like it's one of the It's not
like you wear the ring and you're still attached to
that person, and then you take the ring off and
(01:36:19):
you're not attached to that person and you're moving on.
Speaker 4 (01:36:21):
I just don't see what the big deal is.
Speaker 1 (01:36:23):
I just think symbolism matters.
Speaker 30 (01:36:25):
Yeah, like if you wear if you're wearing a ring
that means you're married. I don't know. I don't know
if you're wearing a wedding ring with a big rock
on it, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:36:33):
It just I know girls who wear their grandmother's wedding rings,
and it's just a way to steel close to the
person that you have loved.
Speaker 1 (01:36:40):
Lindsay, what are your thoughts? Lindsay, it's Mojo on the morning.
Second date update.
Speaker 25 (01:36:51):
My thing is this, what if she had a tattoo
that symbolized you know, her her.
Speaker 23 (01:36:58):
Husband, you know her widow.
Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
Yeah, it's still her husband. I mean, listen, you know
I agree with you. Yeah, there's other symbolisms. And is
he gonna have a hard time with that? Would you
have had a hard time and she had a tattoo, Jeremy,
that's different.
Speaker 29 (01:37:13):
The tattoos just on you. The ring you can't.
Speaker 37 (01:37:16):
You have the choice.
Speaker 1 (01:37:17):
You can take it off, exactly.
Speaker 30 (01:37:20):
She's making the active choice to put the ring on,
and it just seems like she is not ready to
move on.
Speaker 5 (01:37:30):
But it's just part of Yeah, I don't think those
are mutually exclusive things.
Speaker 1 (01:37:34):
Jan what are your thoughts? Seconded update.
Speaker 40 (01:37:37):
I was gonna say, Jeremy could have just asked but
didn't Sarah just see as they talked about her husband
passing away.
Speaker 1 (01:37:43):
During the days they did. Yeah, yeah, and they and
she talked about.
Speaker 35 (01:37:46):
The ring as like a married person, I feel naked
when I don't have my ring on, I like freak
out and I feel like I'm missing something, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:37:56):
Yep.
Speaker 40 (01:37:57):
So I don't know. I feel like maybe possibly.
Speaker 28 (01:38:02):
Maybe try to put it on a necklace or something
if you think.
Speaker 40 (01:38:05):
It's going to create problems in the future. But obviously
this guy is just not the one.
Speaker 1 (01:38:12):
Christina, what's up?
Speaker 9 (01:38:14):
Okay?
Speaker 34 (01:38:15):
So he has every right to feel like a little
uncomfortable with it, thinking maybe she hasn't moved on. That's fine,
But the way that he's reacting to it like he's
like it was five years ago. Like, dude, it wasn't
a break up a.
Speaker 1 (01:38:28):
Perfect way, you know what I mean? Get over it?
Speaker 9 (01:38:31):
I know.
Speaker 34 (01:38:32):
Yeah, And he's so crazy.
Speaker 24 (01:38:34):
I hate his voice too. Okay, thank you for.
Speaker 1 (01:38:40):
The Christina, Alan, what's up? Its moje in the morning.
Speaker 8 (01:38:43):
Hey guys, first time coler Hey, I just want to say,
this guy is a sensitive jerk. My wife before before
we got together, she and her husband had passed away
from brain cancer. And they had a son together, and
I still embraced him to this day, Like I did
emotional thing about this, Like this dude's straight up, you know,
I only want to say what he is. But like, yeah,
(01:39:05):
you can't just move on, like you have to keep
his memory alive any way you can. So for this
guy to be that and sensitive about it, he's gonna
be a part of her life the rest of her life.
Speaker 1 (01:39:15):
And Alan, I'm assuming that you you know that your
wife loves you, but you also know that she loved
her husband.
Speaker 8 (01:39:23):
And yeah, I don't try to compare us like it's
two different things. Like you know, like so we have
you know, she has a son who actually just asked
me to adopt him recently, and like it's like we
still have their wedding picture up in his bedroom to
talk about his dad with him daily. So so what
is ridiculous?
Speaker 1 (01:39:41):
What do you what can you say to Sarah that
would make her feel better after getting rejected like this,
just move on?
Speaker 8 (01:39:47):
This guy's a jerk, Like he did her a favor
by showing his true colors right away.
Speaker 1 (01:39:51):
And there are good guys out there like yourself, So
I appreciate that.
Speaker 8 (01:39:55):
Thanks buddy, appreciate it'd she'll find somebody better.
Speaker 1 (01:39:59):
Sarah, I wish you nothing but the best. I think
that you will find somebody that you can bring into
your life. That is somebody that's gonna feel that, uh,
that broken heart that you have right now. But you
don't have to give up your you know, your husband
for that.
Speaker 6 (01:40:14):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (01:40:16):
And Jeremy, I think that it would have been straight on,
just cool. Just call her back and just say, hey,
you know what, I'm gonna move past this and just
move on.
Speaker 29 (01:40:27):
Yeah, I'll do that next time.
Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
All right, Well, thanks, Second Date updates.
Speaker 20 (01:40:32):
This is the home of the Dirty on the thirty
Second Date update and Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (01:40:42):
Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty Man.
Speaker 1 (01:40:45):
We've been more than an hour without a commercial break.
That means an hour without a political ad. Doesn't sound
to me, Megan, Megan, I don't know if you know this,
but I I was raised in a middle class family.
Speaker 4 (01:41:02):
Let me tell you, shut up, shut up. We'll get
into it in a second. We're going to start with nonpolitics.
Speaker 5 (01:41:07):
Shawn Mendez decided to take a pause during a show
in New York City on Friday, night to pay tribute
to Liam Payne. Now, if you're a fan of either
of these two, can somebody please clarify us. I couldn't
find any information on this. Were they close when Liam
was a lot? I did not realize that a connection.
I could not find a connection online between.
Speaker 1 (01:41:23):
The two of them.
Speaker 4 (01:41:24):
But he took a moment to talk about the news
of Liam passing.
Speaker 2 (01:41:29):
So thou grieving.
Speaker 15 (01:41:33):
Those weakness, the tears, and it's also about celebrating them
where they were and what they've left in this world. Man,
I just wanted to take a second to send so
(01:41:54):
much love to him wherever he is.
Speaker 2 (01:41:55):
Of the world is crying for you, brother, and we're
all praying for your son.
Speaker 4 (01:42:05):
Your family.
Speaker 5 (01:42:11):
Okay, hear me on, all right, and let me just
ask questions. I'm not making accusations. I'm asking questions.
Speaker 4 (01:42:18):
He did that speech, and then he dedicated the next song.
Speaker 5 (01:42:21):
Which happens to be his new song that he's promoting
Heart of Gold to Liam, and the lyrics of the
chorus of art have you had a heart of gold?
You left too soon. It was out of your control.
Underneath your skin and bone, you had a heart of gold.
Speaker 1 (01:42:37):
Interesting, Is that a good choice or a bad choice.
Speaker 4 (01:42:39):
I just I'm asking do we think that was an
authentic thing? Or was this a great way to get
a viral video promoting his news.
Speaker 1 (01:42:46):
That's what I wonder.
Speaker 8 (01:42:47):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (01:42:49):
I'm just asking questions. I didn't say he did.
Speaker 1 (01:42:52):
I agree.
Speaker 4 (01:42:52):
It just seems slightly.
Speaker 5 (01:42:54):
Suspiciously, just slightly, but I'm not who's to say not me?
Donald Trump got behind the friar at a McDonald's in
the suburbs of Philly just to troll Kamala Harris. Trump said,
I'm looking for a job and I've always wanted to
work at McDonald's, but I never did. I'm running against
somebody that said she did. But it turned out to
(01:43:14):
be a totally phony story.
Speaker 4 (01:43:16):
Now, if you're wondering, this is an.
Speaker 1 (01:43:18):
Amazing coun take, and we're gonna make it, Margy greater
than ever.
Speaker 21 (01:43:22):
Tell us about getting started in your own career, Miss President,
how did you tell tell us about those jobs that
people take early on to try to make a break,
and how you did.
Speaker 20 (01:43:28):
It's a great job to take it to begin, it
requires the expertise.
Speaker 1 (01:43:33):
Are going to really french dry stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:43:35):
But so what have you learned?
Speaker 4 (01:43:37):
You learn anything new?
Speaker 1 (01:43:38):
And it requires great expertise. Do you appreciate McDonald's for.
Speaker 18 (01:43:43):
Now?
Speaker 5 (01:43:43):
If you're wondering why he's doing this, why is he
working Adam McDonald's. Why is he saying that Kamala Harrison
never did work at a McDonald's. The Washington Free Beacon
had a copy of her resume from nineteen eighty seven
that said or that she used to apply for a
position at the al made a County District Attorney's office,
where her work experience was listed as an internship with
(01:44:05):
former Senator Alan Cranston, a student assistant position in the
public Affairs office at the Federal Trade Commission, and a
summer clerkship at a San Francisco law firm, which why
would you include a fast food job on an application
for a legal job when you have experience in illegal positions?
But that where is where Donald Trump is coming with
all of this saying that she never did. It is
because this newspaper says that she never did.
Speaker 1 (01:44:28):
By the way, amazing he was able to fix the
ice cream machine at the same time that he was
in there. Wow, doing the donald. You don't get McDonald's
without Donald, right, I guess, so, Megan, come on, how
about a little smooch.
Speaker 4 (01:44:45):
Too, I'm going to continue.
Speaker 5 (01:44:49):
Okay, So there seems to be some perks of being
a campaign staffer if you enjoy certain celebrities. Right, which
just happened for some of the staff working on Kamala
Harrison's campaign. I thought, if we did a story about Donald,
let's do a story about Kamala Harris.
Speaker 4 (01:45:03):
They met on Friday for an all staff zoom call.
Apparently this staff has been working like fifteen hours a day.
They were super.
Speaker 5 (01:45:09):
Drained, and Katy Perry joined in on the zoom call
to encourage workers to keep going.
Speaker 4 (01:45:16):
I'm sorry, I'm working fifteen hour days. Katy Perry is
not doing it for me on this zoom call. No,
I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (01:45:24):
Maybe that's me, maybe somebody who wants to me. I
don't know what Katy Perry made the calls yourself. Don't
tell me to keep going.
Speaker 1 (01:45:30):
With Katy Perry and a pizza party.
Speaker 5 (01:45:33):
Right right right, They were talking about how Katy Perry
knew Kamala Harris ever since she was a senator in California.
It's California girl, So that's the connection there. Come on,
It's like, I think about this that was good. Yeah,
rallying moment if the election being just days away, keep
working those long ass days while I go back to
my regular life is the vibe I got.
Speaker 1 (01:45:53):
But what anyway, only two weeks in a day until
election Day? Isn't that crazy? I can't wait days and
then it's all over? Wait?
Speaker 4 (01:46:03):
I just want to be done. Uh one more?
Speaker 27 (01:46:05):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:46:06):
Okay, So there are some rumors out there that Amazon
is looking for actors for a one year deal to
play the leads of the show Mister and Missus Smith
in their twenties during season.
Speaker 1 (01:46:16):
Ooh that Brad Pitt and Angeline Joe remakes.
Speaker 4 (01:46:20):
They made it into a television show. Season one came
out in February. I believe season two was.
Speaker 5 (01:46:27):
Greenlight, and they want some actors in their twenties to
play the main characters just for a single season. We'll
guess who's making Robert to be part of these discussions.
Billie Eilish, which kind of makes sense because she made
her acting debut and Swarm, which was also on Prime
and also co created by Donald Glovers.
Speaker 4 (01:46:46):
All this kind of safe since it all makes sense.
Speaker 5 (01:46:50):
Yeah, check out all today's dirties by catching up on
the Mojoe in the Morning podcast.
Speaker 1 (01:46:55):
She was good. I didn't even know that was her.
I had to google and I'm like, oh, snap, she's
good at this. Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:47:03):
And you know what, She's not here today, but I
have to say it.
Speaker 2 (01:47:05):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:47:06):
Shannon has been asking us to watch a show on
Netflix for weeks.
Speaker 1 (01:47:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:47:11):
I don't know the title of it. Really quickly, nobody
wants this with Kristen Bell, She's been begging us.
Speaker 1 (01:47:16):
All you watch it.
Speaker 4 (01:47:18):
It's such a good show. Okay, it might be my
new favorite show.
Speaker 5 (01:47:21):
And I'm only going to say this because Shannon's not here,
so she doesn't get the credit and she doesn't know
that I'm appreciative of her.
Speaker 4 (01:47:27):
It is a very good Chelsea.
Speaker 1 (01:47:28):
Can I shout out a show chees chim Crazy? If
if you watch Tiger King, chim Crazy is the greatest.
Speaker 4 (01:47:37):
I told you to watch this.
Speaker 1 (01:47:39):
I watched it this weekend. Chelsea and I are fascinated
with chimps. Now we want since we're empty and astering
right now, we would like to get a chimp for
the way, bro, you think about buying monkeys?
Speaker 4 (01:47:51):
No, none on the rich people have these.
Speaker 1 (01:47:53):
No, they're all crazy people do not have these crazy people.
Speaker 4 (01:47:57):
These are people living in trailers for chips. Let me
tell you, Let me tell you, let me tell you.
Speaker 1 (01:48:02):
I'm yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:48:05):
The first episode dropped and what I tell you, I
literally gasped and clutched my pearls. At the end of
the first episode there is a crazy twist and you're like,
it's the greatest ever.
Speaker 1 (01:48:18):
So good Jim crazy. I'll check it out today.
Speaker 5 (01:48:22):
Yeah, check out all today's dirty by catching up on
the Mojo in the Morning podcast on the.
Speaker 1 (01:48:34):
In the Morning Dirty It's Mojo in the Morning show.
So one of our really really close friends that works
for us at iHeart Uh. He's actually one of the
big executives here, one of the people that we love
so much. We have a great staff, great team. Uh,
best company I think I've ever worked with in all
the years I've worked for radio companies. He's battling right
(01:48:58):
now and going through some treatment. He's doing some chemo
treatments and some radiation treatments. And last week the people
that be put out an email to all of the
on air personalities and some of the big programming people
and said that they wanted to do what's called the
(01:49:19):
meal train. Have you guys ever heard of these things.
It's when somebody that you know is going through some
kind of a tough time or has something going on
in their life, whether they're you know, being faced with
like a surgery or something, or maybe they had something
that happened in their family, like a divorce or whatever.
Everybody comes together and picks a day of the week
(01:49:41):
to send over a dinner to them. It's what neighborhoods do,
you know, and friendships do, Like, Hey, I'm going to
cook you a cast role on Tuesday. You know, Bob's
going to barbecue you some you know ribs on Wednesday.
You know, stuff like that. But there's this site called
meal Train and I got it sent to me by Laney,
and she sent me this thing and she said, hey,
(01:50:03):
would you want to be part of this meal train
to help out our friend? And I won't say their name,
even though I think he would probably be happy to
hear his name on the air, just because he's such
a good guy and he loves morning radio. Well, I'm like, absolutely,
I'm going to do this because I love this person.
I'm going to pick a day. Well then I go
on there to go look at the days to pick,
and I see names like Elvis Duran from the Elvis
(01:50:26):
Duran Show. I see you know, the Breakfast Club, you
know with Charlomagne the God and Envy. And I'm looking
at all these names. I see like, you know, programming
guys like John Peak who runs our Los Angeles properties.
I see Tommy Chuck down in Tampa, see the Joe Show.
(01:50:46):
I see all these people on and I'm looking at
what they're doing. And on this app you can send
like a door Dash gift card, which is convenient and easy,
or you can provide a I'll take this day and
I'll get a dinner and I'll have it sent over
to their house, which is nice. Well, our friend lives
in California. And I don't know about you, but I'm
(01:51:08):
a very competitive person and I know you guys are
too right. I don't want to be outshined, out sparkled
by Elvis Durant. Okay, Elvis, I know is the big
guy in the company. You know, and for all uh
you know say he should be. He's excellent. He's on
a million stations. He also is on our biggest station,
(01:51:31):
Z one hundred in New York. I know Elvis is
going to do something big for him. I know he's
going to probably like do a carry out order to
some great restaurant. I got to go bigger than that.
Speaker 24 (01:51:42):
I got it.
Speaker 4 (01:51:43):
Go ahead, I have the perfect answer for this. You
want something over the top.
Speaker 1 (01:51:48):
I need over the top on this.
Speaker 4 (01:51:49):
Meal train more important than what everybody else is doing.
Speaker 1 (01:51:51):
No Tunic cast role on this one.
Speaker 4 (01:51:53):
So you can go to everybody that you respect in
the industry and say I'm better than you. Yes, okay, So.
Speaker 1 (01:51:59):
You love this not about feeding my friend winning this,
then go ahead.
Speaker 4 (01:52:03):
No, I love a good competition.
Speaker 5 (01:52:05):
I don't care about grieving or people in need or
who cares about. It's about me and my reputation. So
you love the show The Bear. Yes, it's really funny
because the one guy on that show who's an actual
chef comes off as the idiot who can't cook on
that show.
Speaker 4 (01:52:22):
And it's Mattie Mathison, all right, And.
Speaker 5 (01:52:24):
He has partnered with Detroy's stand by on a menu here,
and so that means he knows people in Detroit. Is
there a way where his connection can reach out to
him and see if.
Speaker 4 (01:52:39):
We can work with him to do a meal for
our friend.
Speaker 1 (01:52:42):
That would be amazing, And then maybe have him.
Speaker 5 (01:52:46):
Zoom zoom him and you know what I'll offer this,
I'll do like a social promotion for his menu at
his restaurant.
Speaker 10 (01:52:53):
Yes, I don't want him zooming. He has to go
to this man's house and could get hig.
Speaker 1 (01:53:00):
Like man like they say, farm the table. I want
table to tongue.
Speaker 4 (01:53:04):
I can't remember did you say where this guy lives?
Speaker 1 (01:53:06):
He's in California. He's in Pacific Palisades or something. I
know somewhere nice Californay right. If not, Mojo will pay
for the flight. We're going all in see see. I
was thinking, we're going on? Can I tell you something, Meghan?
You went above and beyond. Thank you very much Meghan
for that. I was actually thinking, is there any way
I can get like Gordon Ramsey or Wolfgang.
Speaker 8 (01:53:28):
Puck or.
Speaker 4 (01:53:31):
Connection.
Speaker 1 (01:53:33):
We got Megan's thought, but Megan's is good. What's our budget?
I don't I necessarily know that we have a budget,
so we think so not much thinking cameo. I'm just
gonna get him a can I don't know, maybe a
cameo that's not a bad How much does a cameo
for him? Look it up for those who don't know
what a cameo is I bought these for everybody on
the show before. It's basically where a celebrity gives you
(01:53:55):
a shout out on a video. What's up, Brittany either
I'm here, Hi, Brittany. What are your thoughts?
Speaker 18 (01:54:01):
Guy?
Speaker 25 (01:54:03):
Thoughts is that hello?
Speaker 11 (01:54:04):
My thoughts are that you just sign like a food
truck to their house, like you gotta go big food?
Speaker 24 (01:54:10):
Like but what if we did like whole.
Speaker 4 (01:54:14):
That's that's truck a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:54:16):
That's a great one. Wh what about those lobos breaking?
Speaker 4 (01:54:22):
Oh no, let's pocus rmanos?
Speaker 1 (01:54:26):
Yes, yes toil locos or yea yeah, Jesus, I love
that idea. I think that that's great. Here's the thing, though,
when you when you're going through radiation, can you eat
a lot? I don't know how much food you want
to have.
Speaker 24 (01:54:41):
You know, it's not about what you can eat, Mojo.
Speaker 6 (01:54:43):
You want to outshine these.
Speaker 1 (01:54:44):
People, That is true. I want to feed. How about
I not only feed him, I feed his neighborhood exactly,
the whole neighborhood.
Speaker 24 (01:54:51):
Do this exactly.
Speaker 6 (01:54:53):
They'll be talking about you for years. You can send
the ice room truck.
Speaker 1 (01:54:56):
Through after Oh my god, Elvis Durant is gonna win
this thing so much. He wins everything. You know, He's
in the Hall of Fame already. I'm not. He's uh,
you know one an m a b Get you there,
I think, Okay, well, I think I'm one that likes
to go big. I like to go big, by the way.
(01:55:18):
I also, whenever I go to weddings, I always make
sure that I put extra stuff inside of the card
so that it looks like I'm putting lots of money
inside of the thing, when in reality it's just tissues
and tissue paper.
Speaker 24 (01:55:30):
So I love that.
Speaker 4 (01:55:33):
How serious are you about this?
Speaker 5 (01:55:35):
I need to do a big I found the guy
who definitely knows who Maddy Masterson is.
Speaker 1 (01:55:39):
Tell him I make this happen name.
Speaker 4 (01:55:42):
So if anybody knows him, we can get ahold of him.
Anthony Curis.
Speaker 5 (01:55:46):
Okay, okay, he is uh the Library Street Collective founder
and stand by partner.
Speaker 4 (01:55:53):
All right, if anybody knows him, I'll.
Speaker 1 (01:55:55):
Help him out with his charities forever, help us. I'll
help him. Yeah. I remember when I remember when Chelsea
and I were bringing food over to a friend that
was just had a baby, and we brought food over,
and I remember we had a whole bunch of stuff.
And we show up at their house and somebody doubled
up on the same day and they were in the
house cooking it. And I said to Chelsea, go, we
(01:56:16):
just got out shine. You know, our shine was not
so good. And I don't want to have that happen
to me with the radio people. What's up?
Speaker 17 (01:56:25):
Saw?
Speaker 18 (01:56:26):
Hey, what's going on? John? I just appreciate you making
you know, doing what you do for your friends. That's
a real Detroit style, you know. That's what we're doing Detroit.
I just appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (01:56:39):
Thank you do it.
Speaker 18 (01:56:41):
That's what we do. We want to do it bigger
than we doing it. That's how we always do it.
Speaker 1 (01:56:44):
We can't lose in Detroit, right, We got to win
in Detroit.
Speaker 18 (01:56:47):
That's what I'm saying about Joe.
Speaker 1 (01:56:49):
When I heard, I'm telling you if I if I
have to seriously, I'll rob a radio station, I'll rob
a restaurants.
Speaker 18 (01:57:02):
The whole neighborhood brought up killed.
Speaker 1 (01:57:04):
I'm going to the whole neighbor Thank you for the
callbut I appreciate you. Saw got it. Guy's got to
be a big man. His name is Saw what's up Amber?
Speaker 3 (01:57:15):
Hi?
Speaker 27 (01:57:15):
I was calling just to say with the food train
for more simple meals. Obviously not this is just remembering
the people could be sick and just not really feeling
like they have company, so making sure like doordrops and
that kind of thing.
Speaker 1 (01:57:28):
Yeah, well that's it. I'm probably gonna end up doing
a door dash gift card or something. But I don't know.
I know, you got to worry. I worry that he's recovering,
and I don't want to make it too crazy. But God,
wouldn't be amazing if a celebrity showed up at his house.
Speaker 6 (01:57:43):
Absolutely, I think there have to be some days that
are full of joy and.
Speaker 27 (01:57:48):
Would just like, you know, if the Lasagnas or whatnot,
just remembering their door drops or texting ahead to be like, hey,
do you want company?
Speaker 10 (01:57:57):
But if we make a celebrity like like Trailer Swift,
what if we send a celebrity, we send somebody that
looks like a look alike.
Speaker 1 (01:58:05):
Yeah, let's do a lookalike Gordon Ramsey, have him insults
him and like make it a whole thing. He would
love that. This should be played at high volume on
you much in the morning. Could they have you guys
hear your home on The War of the Roses, Second
Date Update and the Dirty On the thirty, Megan is
about to make a statement that is going to make
(01:58:25):
all of us guys look bad, and I would like
to just put a disclaimer out there. She's probably right, Saul. Okay,
So Megan's back from another wedding that she was at
and has a rash generalization about men, and I'm a gasoline.
It's a not positive one.
Speaker 4 (01:58:44):
No, I don't think it's not not positive.
Speaker 5 (01:58:46):
I think it's just how you view it. I'm not
saying this like it's a negative. I don't think it's
a negative. Ahead you got you got two men here
and countless men that are listening. You think you set
it up that way, because now everybody's gonna think that
I said this as a negative. I'm just curious, not negative,
as to what it is about weddings that makes men
so horny. Oh, I don't understand why all men are
(01:59:08):
trying to find hookups at weddings.
Speaker 4 (01:59:12):
In a way that is almost like hunting for prey
in the West.
Speaker 1 (01:59:15):
Horny.
Speaker 3 (01:59:16):
It is so.
Speaker 5 (01:59:19):
Aggressive and sometimes kind of sad to look at the
single guys at weddings just hopping from girl to girl
to girl and just not enjoying themselves at all, but
trying to secure the after party plans the entire wedding.
Speaker 1 (01:59:34):
Are you saying it's just men doing this?
Speaker 4 (01:59:37):
What I'm saying. I think women aren't opposed to wedding hookups.
Speaker 5 (01:59:43):
But I have never seen women go from single guy
to single guy, to single guy to single guy and
not hang out with her friends or sit on the
dance floor dancing with the bride and groom, or going
to go get drinks whatever it is, go to eat,
whereas guys feel like their only mission is to find.
Speaker 4 (02:00:03):
The hook out.
Speaker 1 (02:00:03):
You know why, because it happens. There's there's a when
there is a u, a free bar of booze, and
people all dressed up in sexy outfits. I think that
it makes about it makes you, uh, I don't know,
feel it that thing.
Speaker 4 (02:00:19):
I'm wrong.
Speaker 1 (02:00:20):
No, I'm not. I'm not. I don't think you're wrong. Actually,
And I don't think that that was a negative on guys,
because I because obviously you admitted to us earlier this
morning that you did have a little fun too. Yeah, okay,
very exciting time.
Speaker 4 (02:00:33):
I don't think it's the negative. I really don't think
it's the negative. I just don't understand why it's so
all consuming to the guys.
Speaker 10 (02:00:40):
Yeah, this is a bipartisan issue. This is something you
can cross the line on both sides.
Speaker 1 (02:00:48):
You're you are not wrong.
Speaker 10 (02:00:49):
I have been to a few weddings in my day,
not a lot, but a few weddings, and for some reason,
there is this energy that comes with that plate and
it is a sex will energy and I'm three for three,
especially when it comes from out of his country weddings.
There's something about that too. And the bridesmaids me the
ones destination weddings make it what destination wedding? You get
(02:01:12):
a little fun in the sun, you get a little hot.
Speaker 1 (02:01:15):
Okay, So I would love By the way, could you
call us up and tell us if you've ever hooked
up at a wedding and tell us the situation. I'd
love to hear that. Eight four four Mojo Live eight
four four six six five six five four eight. I
think there's something that goes into your system where you
see some love in the air with the couple and
(02:01:37):
then you start saying i'd like love too, like you.
You know, It's like Megan, It's like when a pizza
is delivered to a group of people that you were
not part of. You just want a slice, You want
to enjoy a slice. Just give me a corner slice.
Just give me here, like a snack, snack, like a
(02:02:01):
little snash. Did you see the pictures of Megan at
this thing? First? First off, let me just say this
to you. Shout out to Megan. Yes, shout out to
Ellen McNally, so hot, our former producer executive producer of
the Mojo in the morning show. Talk about it. I'm
not gonna lie to you, but you two girls, huh
(02:02:21):
did you guys have dates at this wedding?
Speaker 38 (02:02:22):
No?
Speaker 1 (02:02:23):
So, did you hooked up? Did Ellen find Did Ellen
meet a boy?
Speaker 2 (02:02:28):
No?
Speaker 6 (02:02:28):
She did not.
Speaker 1 (02:02:29):
She did not. She is she dating right now?
Speaker 4 (02:02:32):
The best part of the entire world. Because I was like,
what's the plan? When are we going home? What shall
I do with you over? She was like, Oh, you're
making your own plans tonight.
Speaker 1 (02:02:40):
That wedding energy.
Speaker 4 (02:02:41):
Wow, she's the best. She actually was really the driving
force and making poor decisions this weekend. I blame her.
Speaker 1 (02:02:51):
She begged you on to do it. Let's encourage you.
She was always like that too. She was always the
encourager of everybody's shenanigans.
Speaker 4 (02:03:00):
Ever, any thinks I'm a bad person, turns out it's
really her.
Speaker 10 (02:03:03):
Yeah, and she lives in Chicago too, right, she does.
So she wanted you to come in town. She stuff
they needed to show you around.
Speaker 5 (02:03:10):
No, no, it's not even leaving happy. I think she
wants me to get pregnant, so I can't leave.
Speaker 1 (02:03:17):
Chicago.
Speaker 4 (02:03:18):
Guy, She was like, Meghan's drunk.
Speaker 5 (02:03:19):
Hopefully this will be unprotected sex and there will be
a baby and Megan has to stay.
Speaker 1 (02:03:25):
Hey, Charity there. Yeah, Meghan thinks that it's just the
guys that are horny at weddings. Do we hook up
at a wedding?
Speaker 37 (02:03:33):
I might disagree with that, but I mean kind of.
But so I had gone to my buddy's wedding and
I want to go hook up with one of the bridesmaids.
Speaker 1 (02:03:41):
Yep.
Speaker 37 (02:03:42):
Well, we were dancing out on the floor and I
learned how to do a backhandspring when I was younger,
so I was going to do one behind the table.
So I didn't kick nobody.
Speaker 4 (02:03:51):
Oh, he got it.
Speaker 18 (02:03:51):
My buddy was like, my buddy was like.
Speaker 37 (02:03:53):
No, dude on the dance floor, Dude on't dance floor,
and so I want to go do it on the
dance floor, and the bride's sister walked through as I
was doing that, and I ended up kicking her. Uh,
and so like as an apology, I guess I don't
always hooked up that night.
Speaker 1 (02:04:09):
Yeah, I love it. Ye say dumb that Jared. Now
you're no longer a nice guy?
Speaker 4 (02:04:19):
What's done with you?
Speaker 1 (02:04:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 38 (02:04:21):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:04:22):
Eight for four Mojo Live eight for four sixty six
five six five four eight in text nine five five
zero zero This one's four one nine says Megan went
to it out of town Chicago wedding. There must be
something about those I hooked up in Chicago too, that
that might be the thing too. It might be the
kep might be right on the whole out of town weddings.
Although you said out of the country, you're saying like
(02:04:42):
destination weddings and like Caribbean islands, and so that type
of vib can't cone him in a republic, that type
of energy all inclusive, drinks are flowing. People are bad.
Speaker 10 (02:04:51):
It's these brides maids, man, I'm telling you three days
they see their girl getting married, baby the love bug.
Speaker 1 (02:04:58):
They look good, You look good. It happens. Do you
think it's the bridesmaids that people are hooking up with?
Do you think that it is really it's just three
single girl three one three, pall be on the hunt
three one three says Megan's right. Guys are like hornied
horn dogs at weddings. They are looking to get laid
by anybody they can. It all starts when they start
(02:05:20):
lining dancing.
Speaker 4 (02:05:21):
I'm not even saying it that.
Speaker 5 (02:05:23):
I'm not truly again, not saying it's even a bad thing.
It's just funny to me that, Like if you looked
at at the room right, there was a point in
an evening where I was standing off to the side.
I was trying to find some bits to film for
social posts, stuff like that, just kind of watching my
friends have fun. I love watching the people I.
Speaker 4 (02:05:40):
Love have fun. And I saw all of the single
dudes like.
Speaker 1 (02:05:45):
Women women much women, Lindis. Where are the Lindis?
Speaker 5 (02:05:51):
And they were just like standing at the corner like
most girl fun ladies sleep with.
Speaker 16 (02:05:56):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (02:05:57):
I always feel like like weddings are like our parties
that we throw when we throw them in hotels, it
always leads to hotel sacks or something. What's up, Cameron,
Who are you talking to Cameron? You're talking to yourself?
Are you talking to you there, Cameron? Yeah, I'm here, Hi, buddy,
we're talking right now. Megan thinks that it's just the
(02:06:17):
guys that want to hook up at weddings.
Speaker 33 (02:06:20):
Well, in my experience, it just depends who's single and
who's not and the type of.
Speaker 18 (02:06:26):
Energy they bring.
Speaker 1 (02:06:27):
Yeah, have you ever had it where a girl came
on to you to want to to have sex or
did you always have to go out and search?
Speaker 11 (02:06:37):
So at my friend's wedding, he spent like fifty grand
at an open.
Speaker 29 (02:06:42):
Bar, and.
Speaker 31 (02:06:45):
His sister had tried to get with me, but I
got too drunk.
Speaker 33 (02:06:50):
I blacked out before we even got back to the house.
Speaker 1 (02:06:54):
Wait, that would have been a bad thing. Don't you
think to hook up with the groom sister?
Speaker 8 (02:07:00):
Well, he has been my best friend, you know that.
Speaker 1 (02:07:04):
Don't make it, Okay, that's like your sister. That's if
he's your best friend, that means that's like your sister.
But you're right though, at a wedding. At a wedding,
all bets are off right.
Speaker 23 (02:07:16):
Yeah, I mean the tequila definitely.
Speaker 8 (02:07:19):
Where's the lines a little bit?
Speaker 1 (02:07:20):
Well, We all know that tequila makes your clothes come off.
We've heard that song before. What's up, baby Leg?
Speaker 18 (02:07:25):
Jay is on with using good Morning, Good Morning.
Speaker 1 (02:07:30):
Has that baby leg ever come out at a wedding?
Speaker 4 (02:07:32):
Oh my god?
Speaker 8 (02:07:33):
Oh yes, indeed.
Speaker 18 (02:07:35):
Well see I was cool, see the mind of honor
pool of me. You know, I was looking good.
Speaker 3 (02:07:40):
I had to put myself on the back.
Speaker 8 (02:07:42):
I mean it plugs all white like that.
Speaker 18 (02:07:44):
He apparently she was like that from the time.
Speaker 8 (02:07:49):
You know, she seemed so.
Speaker 38 (02:07:51):
It was what it was.
Speaker 1 (02:07:52):
You know, what's funny? I wonder the talk shops. I'll
have to call up my buddy Mike, who used to
own President tuxedos. How many tuxes come back with missing
items because guys go to a girl's room or you
know whatever and end up hooking up after a wedding.
Speaker 28 (02:08:12):
Well, yeah, see they didn't get their tugs bat.
Speaker 1 (02:08:18):
Exactly. Alie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How
are you?
Speaker 23 (02:08:27):
I'm great?
Speaker 1 (02:08:27):
How are you fantastic? What's going on?
Speaker 26 (02:08:30):
I was the groom's sister and I did hook up
with the groomsman.
Speaker 4 (02:08:35):
Oh what haven't.
Speaker 31 (02:08:40):
He looks great?
Speaker 23 (02:08:41):
He smelled great.
Speaker 26 (02:08:42):
It was a Dominican Republic wedding and.
Speaker 34 (02:08:46):
It actually turned into a couple of year situationships.
Speaker 1 (02:08:49):
Oh really, So the next morning, when everybody's getting together
for breakfast, you showed up with your mom and dad
and family with this guy.
Speaker 23 (02:08:58):
Oh god, no, we separated and then we entered for breakfast.
Speaker 1 (02:09:03):
So when did you finally admit to family that you
ended up hooking up with one of the guys?
Speaker 34 (02:09:08):
About a year after we were done, not after you were.
Speaker 4 (02:09:12):
You said it was years long situationship.
Speaker 6 (02:09:15):
Yeah, so like about a year after.
Speaker 1 (02:09:17):
This you kept the choir for that long?
Speaker 4 (02:09:21):
I couldn't.
Speaker 1 (02:09:22):
Yeah, that's wild. You knew your brother would beat his ass.
Speaker 29 (02:09:25):
It was his best friend.
Speaker 1 (02:09:27):
Oh my god, that life would have been over for him, William.
You don't just hook up at weddings. Where else do
you hook up at.
Speaker 13 (02:09:36):
Funeral's, birthday parties?
Speaker 29 (02:09:37):
Wherever there's a gathering.
Speaker 4 (02:09:39):
Funeral.
Speaker 13 (02:09:41):
Funeral becausin uh.
Speaker 33 (02:09:45):
Pace passed away and uh we had a friends you know.
Speaker 5 (02:09:52):
And ustly family when you're there, there's.
Speaker 4 (02:09:57):
Too much risk involved.
Speaker 37 (02:09:59):
No, no, no, it was it was my cousin general
and he had all you know, he had a few
little uh friends, you know, extra.
Speaker 22 (02:10:08):
Female friends, you know, neighbor all sobbing and everything.
Speaker 13 (02:10:11):
I had to console you are a bad man.
Speaker 1 (02:10:15):
You're going to hell, my friend. That's horrible. That's called
taking advantage of a person in their weak moments.
Speaker 24 (02:10:23):
Well see it was me.
Speaker 18 (02:10:25):
I have five brothers and we all were there.
Speaker 22 (02:10:28):
You know, we were there to console the women.
Speaker 1 (02:10:30):
Oh my god, that's awful. I mean even I wouldn't
do something like that. That's horrible. Brittany, what's up, Brittany.
Speaker 17 (02:10:38):
Hey, So I actually used to work at President Tuxedo
and actually longtime listener, first.
Speaker 1 (02:10:44):
Time the Brittany on the phone.
Speaker 17 (02:10:50):
So it's like it was insane. What they used to
bring in glasses, expensive glasses, watches and it was like
the dreadful. When we used to open the bag, you
never know what it would smell like.
Speaker 3 (02:11:06):
It was it was horrible.
Speaker 1 (02:11:07):
Oh my god. So they would return the tuxedos with
remnants of the entire night and sometimes forget that they
left their watches and other things inside the bag.
Speaker 17 (02:11:18):
It was, it was insane, and it was just like,
what is it going to smell like today? Is it
going to smell like a pile of cologne or just
a it smells.
Speaker 1 (02:11:28):
Like a hoe that's what Okay, Okay.
Speaker 28 (02:11:32):
Grandma always says you smell like a fresh hoole.
Speaker 5 (02:11:36):
Waitn't say that to you, Jesus, she would say that
to my grandpa.
Speaker 28 (02:11:42):
But like.
Speaker 1 (02:11:46):
I think, my grandma used to tell my grandpa, Hey,
go out and take the garbage out. I don't know
if you never said that. It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (02:11:55):
In the Morning's dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 1 (02:11:58):
Megan has been doing a spectacular job this morning. Yes, Meg,
game the dirties for Shannon, excellent dirt for the people
that have been listening in Detroit. Cavs been doing this diet,
an adequate job with Travis. This is the worst traffic
(02:12:19):
job I've ever done in my life. I just want
to say, I apologize to everyone out there. You gave me.
You give bad traffic jobs. I just want you to
know that. So, what's going on? Megan hous Is dirty going?
Speaker 23 (02:12:29):
Did?
Speaker 5 (02:12:29):
He supposed to be hit with a second batch of
sexual assault lawsuits, including allegations involving assault of a thirteen
year old girl. A Texas lawyer announced the seven new claims,
different from the one week ago, and more than one
hundred other potential victims that have come forward. Two of
the new alleged victims were teenagers at the time that
they were abused.
Speaker 4 (02:12:47):
Four of them are males.
Speaker 5 (02:12:49):
These lawsuits are expected to be filed in the US
District Court in Manhattan overnight. Their contents should be made
public soon after, so when those details trapped, I'll keep
you updated now. Fifty Sadies is also now calling out
Didy it publicly for doing an interview with people, saying, Yo,
it's just my perspective because I've stayed away from this
stuff the entire time because this is not my style,
(02:13:10):
which is interesting.
Speaker 4 (02:13:11):
Has he stayed away from it? No, not really.
Speaker 5 (02:13:13):
He's in the happiest man in hip hop and they've
obviously been feuding, the two of them, both fifty cent
and Diddy for a long time because he announced he's
releasing his docu series on Netflix that's going to explore
the allegations of sexual assault and violence made against Diddy.
Speaker 1 (02:13:29):
Can't wait real quick.
Speaker 10 (02:13:30):
I hope Diddy seems like a canary because if there
are hundreds of allegations that are coming out, and you know,
I'm not saying you know what's valid, one isn't. But
obviously there were people who were there who knew what
was going on and decided not to say anything. So
I pray if and when he has his day in court,
that he lets us know who else was an accomplice,
because they deserve to get the ass beat too.
Speaker 1 (02:13:51):
What if it's your love of loves? What if it's
jay Z and Beyonce? It is what it is. If
you did wrong, if you're an evil person, you deserve
your day in court.
Speaker 5 (02:13:59):
Taylor's swift is kicking off the final leg of her
Eras tour after a two months hiatus, and this LEDs
to really showed out in Miami. Tom Brady was there
along with Serena Williams, how to Copy, Savannah Guthrie, Jenna Hush,
Jenna Bush Hagar, Alex Earl, Miley Cyrus was there. Fans
really lost their mind when they saw Jason Kelcey Kylie,
their daughter.
Speaker 4 (02:14:18):
Wife, Dad, I'm getting to it.
Speaker 1 (02:14:21):
I did Okay, It's great, Jesus.
Speaker 5 (02:14:23):
I don't know why you never do that for Shannon,
and you spoil all of my dirty stories. Mama Donna
was also in the parking lot entering the stadium. Okay,
this is Leboja wanted to tell you. Yes, we did
see Jason didn't make it the entire show because the
pickup went viral where he fell asleep during the show.
Speaker 4 (02:14:38):
No, Travis was not there. He was a practice which
paid off with a win against the forty nine ers
this weekend.
Speaker 5 (02:14:44):
Plus Swifties, come on, we got a new body suit
during the reputation portion of the show, gold Snakes.
Speaker 4 (02:14:50):
At this point, just give us the announcement if you
see the.
Speaker 1 (02:14:53):
Dave Portnoy stuff too. So Dave Port Andy's been attacked
by Swifties saying that he's like mean the Swifties. Dave
port and I went to the concert and Taylor's whole
family greeted him, brought him to meet her, wrote her.
She wrote him a card, all this stuff. So all
the Swifties now are all upset saying that Taylor is
being nice to the enemy. I guess Taylor is a
(02:15:15):
fan of barstool. So we got it. That very interesting, really, Yes,
the car did you read the card? Go on, Dave's
she killed president being hard? Yeah, but she Austin, the
brother and the mom all came out and greeted him
and stuff. Why would they do that if they don't
if she doesn't like.
Speaker 4 (02:15:32):
Them, because she's a marketing machine.
Speaker 5 (02:15:36):
So let's address some Internet rumors circulating around Liampayne's death. Yes,
it is true that he did stand another hotel while
he was in Argentina, but no, he did not get
kicked out of that hotel. He was partying pretty hard
while he was there, but he and his girlfriend were
staying at a different hotel than the one he died
in the week prior to his death. Sat from the
first hotel have come out to say he did get
(02:15:58):
pretty drunk on some of the nights, but he was
are like belligerent, saying he was just trying to be entertaining,
sometimes singing in the lobby. Now at the second hotel
where he did pass away, that staff is saying he
was acting very poor, having fits of rage in the
lobby and in front of other guests, and that's when
they contacted the police. And he may have shown signs
(02:16:19):
of using substances that may or may not have been
found in his room. We're waiting for those test results
to come back. His beighavior at the time of his
death is consistent with the effects of a drug called crystal,
and they're waiting on that toxicology report. They do have
an autopsy, but not a toxicology report, Antonio, Yo, can.
Speaker 1 (02:16:38):
I ask questions without making it an interrupt to I
don't want to interrupt to you.
Speaker 4 (02:16:42):
But why would we stop that at any story in
this No?
Speaker 1 (02:16:45):
My question is I've stayed in hotels, numerous hotels, all right,
I'm not Liam Payne. Are hotel people buying drugs or
giving drugs to like the people that stay there, like
celebrities in Mexico? Do celebrities regularly get well? No, this
is our Gentina that he was right, and you just
asked a general question. But are the people who work
at hotels doing this? I'm telling you, y, they did
(02:17:05):
that in Mexicello. One of my friends got some cocaine
and one of these hotels and he ain't bring it
on the plane with him. Really, and no, I did
not do it. And yes, we was all looking at
him crazy because what the hell are you doing with
cocaine in his rule? Wow? This is interesting, Okay, I'm sorry,
make it good.
Speaker 5 (02:17:20):
Antonio Brown saying that Tim Walls is not a real
football coach and he couldn't take maybe on in a
one on one.
Speaker 27 (02:17:28):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (02:17:29):
The former NFL star spoke at a Trump event in Pennsylvania,
he had some things to say about Walls's coaching Niggs
while calling him some names.
Speaker 1 (02:17:36):
And by the way, tampon Tim Walls.
Speaker 13 (02:17:39):
Tim Wall wasn't a real football coach.
Speaker 3 (02:17:44):
He could never guard me.
Speaker 1 (02:17:48):
Guys, how is business? Bennis Will be booman going against
Tim Wats.
Speaker 4 (02:17:54):
Tempon Tim Watts be really booman going against him. He's
calling him tampon, Tim case.
Speaker 5 (02:18:00):
If you didn't know, Tim Wall signed a bill for
students to have access to period products in public schools.
Speaker 1 (02:18:05):
Crazy.
Speaker 10 (02:18:06):
That's not even the craziest thing he said it that
rally did He ended it with a really well statement.
Speaker 1 (02:18:11):
Did you see all the celebrities that were in for
the different candidates? Could you mind if I play some
of these before you? Lizzo was in for uh Kamala Harris.
Speaker 4 (02:18:23):
I'm so proud to be from this city.
Speaker 8 (02:18:26):
You know.
Speaker 38 (02:18:26):
They say if Kamala wins, then the whole country will
be like Detroit, pro like Detroit, resilient, like Detroit.
Speaker 1 (02:18:38):
Okay, that was that she was there. Trick Trick went
up on stage with Donald Trump. He wanted him to
wrap another man that they love in Detroit is a rapper,
is one of the hottest in the world. Actually, where's
too much guy? Trick trick? You don't know this man,
(02:19:00):
Come here, it's trick trick.
Speaker 4 (02:19:03):
Maybe we should have do a little rapping or something.
Speaker 1 (02:19:06):
No, man, look at them. It looks good. It looks good.
You look good. Come on, you didn't go crazy Detro
when Lizzo is out there. If y'all know about tick trick,
y'all know him about bringing it all to Detroit.
Speaker 9 (02:19:28):
So please welcome the forty seventh President of the United
States as.
Speaker 1 (02:19:34):
We make dis right great? Are you there?
Speaker 9 (02:19:37):
You go?
Speaker 38 (02:19:38):
Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 1 (02:19:40):
Hold on a second. We can sound tired, Kevin, you
sound tired. I thought you were the hype man, you
the mo Joe in the morning show.
Speaker 10 (02:19:51):
I should have got a coffee from McDonald's from you,
mister President, and i'd be feeling good.
Speaker 1 (02:19:57):
Oh. I need to to sign my Inndieva. Are you
ready for fifteen days from now? I think I'm my
early vote, to be honest with you, Okay, well that's
what I'm saying. I already know what I'm voting for us,
So let's sound crazy. Happened. My minding will be changed,
but we're still going to be dealing with good commercials
for the next fifteen days. It seems like and even
though we say is going to be over November fifth,
we know it's not. It's not.
Speaker 28 (02:20:17):
No.
Speaker 1 (02:20:17):
All right, back to you, Megan, I'm sorry.
Speaker 5 (02:20:19):
You can check out all of today's dirty by going
to the Emojo in the Morning podcast on the free
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (02:20:27):
E Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 20 (02:20:28):
On social media, It's crazy, it's musual in the Morning,
He's dirty on the.
Speaker 1 (02:20:32):
Thirty Mojo on the Morning Show. I am praying that
she's willing to let me share this today, but if
you go check out the We Don't podcast day, Chelsea
and I did a podcast that will be released later
(02:20:55):
today when Zach gets around to finishing up our show
podcast and then he'll pop that up. Chelsea did something
very interesting. She tried on her wedding dress from thirty
years ago this weekend and I took pictures of it.
(02:21:17):
I hope she lets me share it with you guys.
It was unfricking believable thirty years. This thing has been
sitting literally in a bag or on a hangar for
thirty years, and she tried the dress on. And I
wanted to talk about this on the podcast, which we
did because we talked about our anniversary, and we talked
(02:21:38):
about thirty years, and we talked about one of the
things that I think that helped us in our thirty
years of marriage, but also what helped us keep us
together for thirty years because we've had some rough patches.
But look at this. Wow, is she still fitted too?
She fit into that? Is that unbelievable? Did she cry
at all? Or did you cry? Was the emotion? I
(02:22:00):
got all emotional? First off? I got it. I got
like Megan was talking about with weddings, I got horning
it well, I wanted because you didn't consummate on the
actual day, right, So well, that is true. That is true.
We did talk about that that on the actual day
of our our wedding. Chelsea went to bed and I
(02:22:23):
stayed up watching television and eating room service in a hotel.
But we did not have a chance to to fully
do what we needed to do, and that was sure
our love and affection for each other. She's not answering
her phone. I don't know where she's at right now.
Does she not understand that she should be waiting patiently
(02:22:45):
by the phone for me? The video I did too
is pretty funny too. Because I did try to see
if she would want to have sex, and her comment
that she said to me was hysterical. I don't know
if she'll let me post it. Obviously she doesn't like
a lot of different posts and stuff. But I look
at that it's first off, it was so crazy because
(02:23:08):
I have not seen that dress in thirty years. I
mean I know that we've had Yeah, I never pulled
it out. She never pulled it out. It was in
our basement and I never would go down and see it.
Speaker 4 (02:23:20):
Usually it's in Storge.
Speaker 1 (02:23:21):
That kind of makes sense.
Speaker 5 (02:23:22):
I'm just surprised it's taken this long to pull but
I feel like everybody is like a drunk night ten
years in where you put it in.
Speaker 1 (02:23:27):
It's wild because you know, we don't have very many
pictures from our wedding like we have I think four
or five pictures from our wedding because our wedding photographer
got drunk. Oh no, and then he went like a
wall and off the grid and we didn't get a
chance to get any other pictures. I told her, so,
let's do a redo. I was about to say, are
(02:23:48):
you'll on renewed to Viles. She got to pull up
in the same dress. Did you see the pictures I
posted last week of us from our You look different, bro.
Everybody was saying that you look the same. I don't
think so. How sexy do we look compared to we
looked like back then?
Speaker 4 (02:24:01):
He has the same smile, So I think it's can
be a kind of deceiving.
Speaker 1 (02:24:04):
Yeah, I mean literally the pictures from like if you
didn't see him, it was our anniversary on the fifteenth,
So last week I I have this big old fat face.
Look at that. That's that's us. It's a little crazy.
We're like young kids. That's crazy. That's our wedding day
right there. That's that's the dress. That's all we got
of the dress.
Speaker 10 (02:24:24):
But yeah, so are y'all talking about renewing the vast conversations?
Speaker 1 (02:24:29):
She won't do it now.
Speaker 4 (02:24:31):
We upgrade the ring?
Speaker 1 (02:24:33):
Any upgrade anymore? Megan. That ring has been upgraded eight,
five or six?
Speaker 41 (02:24:37):
You know, upgrade again, baby, Chelsea, I got you, fam
Chelsea has Chelsea has no problem upgrading the ring for
the sake of of you know, bad uh vibes or
bad karma.
Speaker 4 (02:24:51):
I think she wants another band and matching hearing.
Speaker 1 (02:24:54):
No listen, if she did she would have. If she did,
she would have already called Joe Lucido and she would
have gotten it, because that's how she does it. I
don't even get asked anymore. It's now gotten to a
point where it's like, hey, I got to go pick
something up from Joe Lucido. By the way, can you
pick it up for me? And I'm like, oh God,
what did I just have to pick up? When it
comes to renewing the vows? What is vowves? Right, vows? Vows?
Speaker 33 (02:25:21):
Vowel?
Speaker 1 (02:25:22):
Sometimes would you like to buy a vowel? So when
you were new to those things, and I guess it
just happens. It depends on the relationship that you have.
Speaker 10 (02:25:31):
Is it a conversation with your partner, like hey, let's
do this, or would you get out on one knee
and propose to her again and renew it like that way?
Speaker 1 (02:25:39):
I don't you know what it's It's wild. We were
having a conversation with Joe because you know, I always
I thought that you know Joe, and we talked about
it on our show. Our son went out and I
think he bought a ring and did all this stuff,
and we're asking him, like what he's waiting for like,
what's his thing? And he has an idea of what
he's going to do, but he was like, why can't
I just do an engagement proposal like your dad did
(02:26:02):
for Mom, which basically was we were drunk after doing
the Friday night dance party at the Pacific Beach Club,
came home and I'm on the floor of my apartment
because I had no furniture. I rolled over and gave
her the ring and said, will you marry me? Because
I was tired of the fact that she was wearing
it secretly and not telling me that she was wearing it.
(02:26:24):
So I'm like, you know what, put it on your
finger and that's what my proposal was. And Joe goes,
I don't know, Joe doesn't want to do the whole
big proposal stuff, and I thought to myself, I'm like,
you know what, if I was going to get renewed
and vows I would like to do a big proposal.
I wanted to be a social media mega cast. You
want the airplane coming with all I want. I wanted
to get us more hits and views and likes and loves,
(02:26:46):
and I want KP to hit her social bonuses for
that week. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:26:54):
You know, my girlfriend Erica got married and she had
a rule for her engagement and it was it doesn't
have to be big. She didn't want it big in public,
but it had to be special to us. And I
want my friends to know what day it's going to
happen because we're all going out that night. So I
want all of my friends to have the night off
and know that they're expected to join us to hit
the bars. But like, if you proposed to me in
(02:27:15):
front of anybody, I think her exact words were, I'll
kill you.
Speaker 8 (02:27:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:27:21):
Like I think Chelsea would be the same way too.
I think that if I did it in a public setting,
or because back then social media was not a thing
thirty miny years ago, we didn't have Instagram and Facebook
and stuff, I think she would have been thirty years
old well exactly. I think she would have honestly been
upset if I did it like that, or if I
(02:27:41):
did like nowadays, people do this thing where they invite
their families to come and be out with them. I
think Chelsea would be like, why are you inviting my
grandfather and parents to this thing?
Speaker 4 (02:27:51):
And I don't want that.
Speaker 5 (02:27:52):
But also I don't want you to roll over and
just be like, I guess you already know about this,
like there's a middle ground.
Speaker 1 (02:27:58):
Do you feel bad about that that that's the way
you did it?
Speaker 29 (02:28:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:28:01):
I do because I planned stuff back then. I still
I was hosting the morning show. You did contest that
were crazy contests. I had a planning meetings and stuff
like I didn't know. Yeah, I would have done something special.
I actually wanted to do it on the air. And
back then in radio, do you guys remember the part
of radio when you listen to the station and they
(02:28:22):
would say Monday morning at seven twenty we got a
big announcement. Yeah, I wanted to do it with Monday
morning at seven twenty, a big announcement like promote all
weekend long, the biggest thing ever.
Speaker 9 (02:28:33):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:28:34):
I wanted to do stuff like that, and it didn't happen.
I want you to propose again. Well, I'm gonna have
the chance right now, Chelsea's but where are you? Where
are you?
Speaker 23 (02:28:49):
What? Sorry?
Speaker 6 (02:28:49):
Your phone?
Speaker 1 (02:28:51):
Where were you? Where were you?
Speaker 4 (02:28:54):
Well, I'm going to a doctor's appointment.
Speaker 1 (02:28:57):
So well here real quick, my knee right now. And
I just wanted to say, we've spent thirty years together,
not all of them happy, but I would like to
make the next thirty years, not all of the time
happy for you. Will you marry me again?
Speaker 28 (02:29:23):
I'm in too.
Speaker 1 (02:29:24):
Yeah, that's not cutting out, that's God saying. Don't let
her hear this, Chelice. Can you hear me? I can
hear you, Okay, keV wants me to repropose to you
and then us to renew our vows now that you
fit into the wedding dress again.
Speaker 34 (02:29:40):
No no, no, no, no, no no no, no, no,
one and done.
Speaker 30 (02:29:42):
No, Chelsey, No, you can get another ring.
Speaker 1 (02:29:48):
No, I'm good with that too.
Speaker 4 (02:29:50):
But you could get another ring and give it to me.
Speaker 1 (02:29:56):
Or or Megan or yeah, he can?
Speaker 2 (02:30:00):
Are you.
Speaker 1 (02:30:02):
Please? Megan?
Speaker 4 (02:30:04):
So weird? My headphone is the blue. Its breaking up
right now. I can't hear you exactly.
Speaker 1 (02:30:10):
Come on, Megan, I mean you and I Megan. You
complete me? Why Chelsea? I shared with these guys, not
on the social media, but I shared with these guys
the picture of you in the wedding dress, and I
want to share it with with all the listeners. Come on,
(02:30:32):
let me just let me. Let me share it just because, honestly, Chelsea,
it would be a great promo for our podcast.
Speaker 3 (02:30:37):
Today, pull like an emoji over my face.
Speaker 1 (02:30:42):
Come on, you look gorgeous. Chelsea was not. She's not
been feeling well. Death warmed If death warmed over, it
looks like you. I want to die, same Chelsea.
Speaker 4 (02:30:54):
How did it feels you are dead to me?
Speaker 1 (02:31:01):
How did it feel to put that dress on? It
was really scratchy. I wore that.
Speaker 28 (02:31:08):
Time.
Speaker 21 (02:31:09):
It was so scratchy.
Speaker 4 (02:31:11):
Can I be honest? Those sleeves need to come back. Well,
oh yeah, I still to this day.
Speaker 34 (02:31:18):
I love my wedding round.
Speaker 1 (02:31:20):
It's cute. It was so beautiful.
Speaker 13 (02:31:23):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (02:31:24):
The best part of the back, but we don't see that.
But the best part on you is the back too, baby.
Speaker 4 (02:31:35):
Sorry, I love you.
Speaker 1 (02:31:36):
I'm Chelsey. I'm using that as a way to promote
the We Don't podcast today.
Speaker 4 (02:31:40):
I do not post my face.
Speaker 1 (02:31:42):
Come on, it's not fair. Your face looks amazing, No.
Speaker 3 (02:31:49):
It is.
Speaker 1 (02:31:49):
Yeah, yeah, sorry, I have to. I'm gonna have to
see if if KP can do it do some magic
on that.
Speaker 4 (02:31:56):
Of course you can't.
Speaker 1 (02:31:57):
All right, I love you. I love you too, all right,
I'll see you listening to that. Podcast is the more
Mojo podcast platform. We don't podcast or search mojo. We
don't what's going on?
Speaker 39 (02:32:06):
Leah, Hi, first time, long time.
Speaker 1 (02:32:09):
He appreciate you. What's happening?
Speaker 39 (02:32:15):
So obviously just listening talk about proposals and all that.
So my fiance proposed to me on New Year's as
soon as it hit twelve o'clock, got down on one knee.
Speaker 26 (02:32:24):
Super cheesy, super cute.
Speaker 39 (02:32:26):
So it was just me, my brother and my mom
and my dad and my sister in law. She was
so mad, she was so mad that that she didn't
get that kind of proposal. She didn't really get much
of a proposal, if I'm being honest with you, but
she kind of was forced into it, or forced my
brother into it, whatever. But she was so mad that
when we cheers to it, she walked away. She sat
(02:32:48):
her black downe and she walked away.
Speaker 1 (02:32:50):
Did she really?
Speaker 16 (02:32:52):
So?
Speaker 39 (02:32:53):
So for real? She was just like nope, not having it.
And then she went and yelled at my brother just
a little bit later after that, after everything settled down,
Like that's how you a proposal.
Speaker 5 (02:33:01):
Then normal reaction is texting your girlfriends separately and subtweeting
about it later, not storming out during the.
Speaker 1 (02:33:08):
Cheersing Leah's carsh Oh God, thank you for calling. Appreciate you, Leah.
Speaker 6 (02:33:20):
Absolutely have a great day.
Speaker 1 (02:33:22):
All right, we love you too.
Speaker 3 (02:33:25):
Just the second date update on Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 1 (02:33:28):
All right, time now for the second date update. Why
are you not getting a call? We're gonna find out
this morning here on the show. If you are not
getting a call back after you've gone out on a
couple one or two dates, who knows, or it could
be like a long term relationship. Text date to nine
five five zero zero and we'll get you on the show.
Sarah is on with us right now. Sarah, you're getting ghosted?
(02:33:50):
What's happening?
Speaker 28 (02:33:52):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (02:33:53):
Tell you we're doing good. So Sarah, right, tell us
about the person that's ghosting you, and then we'll find
out some answers for you. How'd you guys meet?
Speaker 6 (02:34:05):
We met on one of the apps.
Speaker 1 (02:34:07):
Okay, and have you guys been talking for a while?
Speaker 28 (02:34:12):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (02:34:13):
Yeah, I guess. We talked for like a week week
and a half, and then we went out for dinner
and we had a really great time and I thought
everything was good. And now I haven't heard from him,
and I'm I'm bummed about it.
Speaker 1 (02:34:35):
Okay, let's find out what's going on here? Okay, Jeremy
is on the phone with us right now. Jeremy, will
you say hello to Sarah?
Speaker 29 (02:34:43):
Hey Sarah, Oh hi.
Speaker 1 (02:34:47):
Hey Jeremy. So Sarah says that you guys, you guys
met like everybody does. That, you guys been talking like
everybody does. You guys went on a date like everybody does,
and then you stop calling her like seems like everybody does.
What's what's going on? Have you just been busy and
just haven't had an opportunity to call her or what's
going on?
Speaker 17 (02:35:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 29 (02:35:09):
I mean I've been pretty busy, so I just haven't
really been able to call her.
Speaker 1 (02:35:14):
So, but you know, it was fine, it was it
was fine, meaning the date was fine, Yeah it was.
Speaker 3 (02:35:22):
It was all right.
Speaker 29 (02:35:23):
We had a good time. But you know, I've been busy,
haven't really been able to have time to call her back.
Speaker 1 (02:35:34):
That just doesn't seem like it's the full answer. It
sounds to me like you're only giving us partial answer.
Speaker 17 (02:35:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 29 (02:35:41):
I mean, the only thing was she had a wedding
ring on, which is kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (02:35:47):
M Well, now I'm on your side.
Speaker 39 (02:35:50):
Oh yeah, So I'm a widow.
Speaker 6 (02:35:57):
And my husband passed away and uh, I'm.
Speaker 1 (02:36:01):
Sorry, thank you. How long ago did your husband pass away?
Speaker 6 (02:36:07):
Five years?
Speaker 1 (02:36:09):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (02:36:09):
Man?
Speaker 4 (02:36:10):
By the way back back on your side.
Speaker 1 (02:36:12):
So you so your your your husband pasted, your husband
died in you still wear the wedding ring?
Speaker 6 (02:36:22):
Yeah, you know, it's just been very hard to take off.
I finally started dating again that I'm so used to
it on my hand, and uh, you know, I'm I'm
figuring out how to how to move forward and trying
to date. And I really like this guy, and I
(02:36:43):
didn't know if just the fact that I was a
widow totally freaked him out.
Speaker 4 (02:36:46):
But don't you think by.
Speaker 5 (02:36:47):
Wearing the ring and not addressing it, it's just going
to lean to problems like this because I think if
you bring up I'm a widow, I'm still uncomfortable taking
this off. That's way more reasonable than somebody's going up
and not addressing the ring on their hands.
Speaker 28 (02:37:04):
Well, I had told him, so you told him about
on the date.
Speaker 1 (02:37:11):
Oh so, Jeremy, So she told you about losing her
husband and you still had a had kind of an
issue with her wearing the ring.
Speaker 29 (02:37:22):
Yeah, I mean, I'm sorry her husband died, but that
was five years ago. Wow, I mean, she's still holding
on the feelings. It's just I mean, it was five years.
Speaker 1 (02:37:37):
Ago, but this is also her husband. This is somebody
that she loved. And I think, have you ever lost
anybody in your life, I mean, you lose a loved one,
you never forget.
Speaker 29 (02:37:51):
Yeah, but I'm not wearing a ring about it or
going out on dates and still bringing it up.
Speaker 1 (02:37:58):
But I gotta tell you, Jeremy, and I don't know
if you necessarily mean it the way that you mean it,
because it comes awful, little harsh. But when you lose somebody,
even in breakups. You see people lose people in breakups
and it's tough, but to lose somebody in death like this,
(02:38:19):
I can't not even imagine how hard that must be
for Sarah. And if she's just wearing the symbol of that,
which is the ring, she's at least getting back on
her two feet and going out on dates with you.
Speaker 29 (02:38:34):
Yeah, I mean, I get what you're saying, but I mean,
it just doesn't seem like she's moved on, So I
don't even know if she's.
Speaker 1 (02:38:42):
Ready to date. Do you feel like you're ready to date, Sarah?
I mean, obviously you you're out on a date. Yeah,
how many.
Speaker 6 (02:38:52):
Dates have you been on a ring on that hand?
Speaker 33 (02:38:55):
I've been on like.
Speaker 14 (02:38:58):
Three or four.
Speaker 1 (02:38:59):
I guess anybody that you've gone on a date with
had any other concerns like this or this is the
Jeremy's is the only one.
Speaker 6 (02:39:08):
He's He's the big one so far. Wow, the others.
I think we just kind of didn't feel sparky when
we were together. But I thought he and I had
a really nice conversation and time and then I just
didn't hear.
Speaker 39 (02:39:21):
From at all, which.
Speaker 6 (02:39:24):
You know, maybe dating has changed. I haven't done it
in a long time.
Speaker 10 (02:39:28):
He's just so I'm clear, Sarah, you knew the ring,
You knew you had the ring on, and you decided
to keep it.
Speaker 1 (02:39:34):
On, right You didn't?
Speaker 6 (02:39:38):
Yeah, I didn't. I wasn't like hiding anything we talked about.
You know that my husband had passed away on the date,
and uh, and I had the ring on. Honestly, I
have always want to ring on my left hand. That's
just comfortable, and so I guess it's a little bit
of a security blanket.
Speaker 1 (02:39:57):
But did you ever considered did you ever consider not
to wear it on the date?
Speaker 10 (02:40:01):
Like obviously you know, I can only imagine what you're
experiencing it, and I'm not telling you not to feel that.
But if you're going on a date, did you ever
consider that maybe the ring could potentially not allow anybody
to make a real connection because they could think that
you're still, you know, some way.
Speaker 5 (02:40:16):
Involved with your But aren't you always going to be
that way involved with somebody.
Speaker 4 (02:40:21):
Just because you're wearing the.
Speaker 5 (02:40:21):
Ring doesn't mean you're not ready to date and experience
new love and affection and partnership. You can still say
I loved this person, I missed this person, and I
want companionship in my life.
Speaker 4 (02:40:35):
I don't feel like it's one of the other.
Speaker 5 (02:40:36):
It's not like you wear the ring and you're still
attached to that person, and then you take the ring
off and you're not attached to that person and you're
moving on.
Speaker 4 (02:40:42):
I just don't see what the big deal is.
Speaker 1 (02:40:44):
I just think symbolism matters.
Speaker 30 (02:40:46):
Yeah, Like if you're wearing a ring that means.
Speaker 1 (02:40:48):
You're married, symbolism matters.
Speaker 6 (02:40:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 30 (02:40:51):
I don't know if you're wearing a wedding ring with
a big rock on it, I don't know it.
Speaker 5 (02:40:55):
Just I know girls who wear their grandmother's wedding rings,
and it's just a way to feel close to the
person and that you have loved.
Speaker 1 (02:41:01):
Lindsay, what are your thoughts? Lindsay, it's Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 25 (02:41:04):
Second date update, Hang, first time, long time. My thing
is this, What if she had a tattoo that symbolized
you know, her her ex husband, you know her widow, it's.
Speaker 1 (02:41:23):
Still her husband. I mean you No, I agree with you. Yeah,
there's other symbolisms. And is he gonna have a hard
time with that? Would you have had a hard time
and she had a tattoo, Jeremy, that's different.
Speaker 29 (02:41:34):
The tattoos just on you. The ring you can't. You
have the choice, you can take it.
Speaker 1 (02:41:39):
Off, exactly.
Speaker 30 (02:41:41):
She's making the active choice to put the ring on,
and it just seems like she is not ready to
move on.
Speaker 26 (02:41:51):
But it's just part of her.
Speaker 4 (02:41:52):
Yeah. I don't think those are mutually exclusive things.
Speaker 1 (02:41:55):
Jen, what are your thoughts? Second ate update.
Speaker 40 (02:41:59):
I was gonna say, Army could have just asked, but didn't.
Sharah just see as they talked about her husband passing away.
Speaker 1 (02:42:04):
During the days they did, Yeah, and they and she
talked about the ring.
Speaker 40 (02:42:09):
It was like a married person.
Speaker 35 (02:42:11):
I feel naked when I don't have my ring on,
I like freak out. I feel like I'm missing something, you.
Speaker 13 (02:42:17):
Know, yep, So I don't know.
Speaker 40 (02:42:20):
I feel like maybe possibly.
Speaker 35 (02:42:23):
Maybe try to put it on a necklace or something,
if you think it's going.
Speaker 40 (02:42:27):
To create problems in the future.
Speaker 28 (02:42:28):
But obviously this guy is just not the one.
Speaker 1 (02:42:33):
Christina, what's up? Okay?
Speaker 34 (02:42:36):
So he has every right to feel like a little
uncomfortable with it, thinking maybe she hasn't moved on. That's fine,
But the way that he's reacting to it, like he's
like it was five years ago. Like, dude, it wasn't
a break up a person way, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (02:42:51):
Get over it?
Speaker 9 (02:42:52):
I know.
Speaker 34 (02:42:54):
Yeah, And he's so crazy. I hate his voice too.
Speaker 1 (02:42:56):
Okay, thank you for the Alan what's up? Its mode
in the morning.
Speaker 8 (02:43:05):
Hey guys, first time call her. I just want to say,
this guy is a sensitive jerk. My wife before before
we got together, she and her husband had passed away
from brain cancer and they had a son together, and
I still embraced him to this day, Like I get
emotional thinking about this, Like this dude, straight up, you know.
I don't want to say what he is, but like, yeah,
(02:43:26):
you can't just move on, like you have to keep
his memory alive any way you can. So for this
guy to be that and sensitive about it, he's gonna
be a part of her life the rest of her life.
Speaker 1 (02:43:36):
And Alan, I'm assuming that you you know that your
wife loves you, but you also know that she loved
her husband.
Speaker 8 (02:43:44):
And yeah, I don't try to compare us like it's
two different things. Like you know, like so we have
you know, she has a son who actually just asked
me to adopt him recently, and like it's like we
still have their wedding picture up in his bedroom. I
should talk about his ye with him daily. So what
is ridiculous?
Speaker 1 (02:44:02):
What do you What can you say to Sarah that
would make her feel better after getting rejected like this?
Speaker 3 (02:44:08):
Just move on.
Speaker 8 (02:44:08):
This guy's a jerky like he did her a favor
by showing his true colors right away.
Speaker 1 (02:44:12):
And there are good guys out there like yourself.
Speaker 8 (02:44:15):
So I appreciate that, thanks, buddy, appreciate It'll find somebody better, Sarah.
Speaker 1 (02:44:20):
I wish you nothing but the best. I think that
you will find somebody that you can bring into your life.
That is somebody that's gonna feel that that broken heart
that you have right now, but you don't have to
give up your you know, your husband for that.
Speaker 8 (02:44:35):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (02:44:38):
And Jeremy, I think that it would have been straight on,
just cool. Just call her back and just say, hey,
you know what, I'm gonna move past this and.
Speaker 8 (02:44:45):
Just move on.
Speaker 29 (02:44:48):
Yeah, I'll do that next time, all right.
Speaker 1 (02:44:51):
Well thanks? Second date update.
Speaker 20 (02:44:53):
This is a whole with a dirty on the thirty
back down. Second Date Update and more than roads. This
is Mogile in the Morning by
Speaker 1 (02:45:01):
Twenty plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo,
in West Michigan, It's Mojo in the Morning.
