Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. So, Megan,

(00:02):
I always like to hear stories of how things are
going in your personal life.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
What's this story all about?

Speaker 3 (00:09):
This?

Speaker 2 (00:09):
That's not great. I don't know what is going on lately.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
But I had been talking to somebody for a little
bit and it wasn't that serious. We had gone on
like a date, and this person tried to hook up
and I was just not interested and I turned them down.
And that person has since gone to our friend group
and started talking about me behind my back because I

(00:33):
turned them down for sex. And I think this is
really wild because first of all, I have the text
message receipts to prove my side of all this, so
it's just wild for you to lie in general. And
it's just also so immature and unnecessary. Like I didn't
say anything, I didn't do anything. I didn't bring it
up to my group of friends, and they all brought

(00:55):
it up to me, And it's really starting to put
a huge kind of rift in the middle of my
friend group. And I'm not sure a why he's doing this.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
Or be.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Like how this is going to affect the friend group
or how I should handle it. And I'm super freaking frustrated, like.

Speaker 6 (01:14):
He's lying, so like you you very just matter of
factly said you were not interested in hooking up with him,
And how is he twisting.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
It that I was desperately begging to sleep with him
and I like putting all these moves and made him uncomfortable.
And I have the text messages that show you asking
me and me saying no, like like, I don't know
what you're getting out of this, dud.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Wait, he texts you yes, so you have the receipts. Yes,
I would be a crappy thing to do. But why
don't you just screenshot that and send it to the.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Group because it's gonna like, yeah, that's probably what's going
to happen out of all this, But why do I
even have to do that in the first place?

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I agree with you there.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I think that he was trying to get ahead of it,
like he maybe he thought they you were going to
say he tried to sleep with me, so he was like,
I'm going to beat her to the punch and say no.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
That's absolutely what he was trying to do because he
got denied, he got turned down and got upset about it.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
By the way I find it, so weird that somebody
would text another person and say I want to what
do you What are you saying the text?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
How did you want to come over? It's an eleven
thirty at night text message do you want.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
To come over?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
And so it was just do you want to come over?
It wasn't like do you want to come over to
hook up?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Or what? Right?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
But why is somebody texting me on Wednesday eleven thirty
do you want to come over?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
And so you responded back with no, thanks, sorry, it's
too late for me to go.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Were there flirty text before this at all? Or no? Yes,
we had we were flirty.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
So you were you were actually giving him a little
flirtation then, so denial out of the blue that that
this happened.

Speaker 6 (02:49):
Like that he would assume that that would even be
something that you would be interested in.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
What it was like being physical? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Yeah, like that's where he thought it was heading. Yeaheah,
And I was not interested And when I said no,
then he retaliated in our friend group wow.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Wow, he and you have the text? Do you clean
these things out? I think you got to do it?
How dumb do you have to be? And what were
you going to accomplish.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
But by the way, because nothing happened, we could have
just said nothing happened, but instead you were like, oh
my god, she was desperately trying to get with me.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
It's like, what was the point?

Speaker 4 (03:28):
What was the point?

Speaker 6 (03:29):
And do you have to see him all the time?

Speaker 4 (03:30):
No saying god, but we like we had mutual friends,
Like it's a a friend of one of my best
friend's boyfriends.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
So it's like.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
You're around, I'm around. We're going to be in these
circles for a while. Huh, I'm not going to see
you all the time, take od but like we'll be
around each other every once in a while.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
All right.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
So here, let's ask the listeners this question. If you
have these taxs, if Megan has these texts, should she
share them with everybody? Just so everybody doesn't know that
Megan is just sitting there trying to, you know, to
lie about a circumstance that's happening. I mean, this guy's
obviously trying to make you look like the bad person
because he feels.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Like he didn't get you want to believe him. Like,
are you feeling like people are like, say.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Are you on this group text that this is all happening,
or somebody's telling you about it, somebody's talking me about it.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I would want to see.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
I would want screenshots from that conversation because, to Kevin's point,
I would want to know how everybody else is responding.
All of my other quote unquote friends, how are they responding.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
How do you think that they're responding to it? Or
do you know? I think that the guys are being guys.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Like get dude to tell yeah bo Coote, and I
think the girls are all like rolling their eyes like
that's clearly now I happened.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Hey, Amanda, what's up?

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Good morning everyone, Good morning?

Speaker 2 (04:45):
What's going on? What do you think Megan should do?

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Megan, I'm so sorry that this is happening to you
because that's disgusting behavior and it you just I know
when I was in this situation, you.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Feel so helpless.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah, it's like discussed, it's like middle school.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
It does feel very childish, but then it also feels like,
well if I defend myself out, like well, guys, you
just need you to believe me. Like it just makes
me feel like, no matter what, I'm begging for somebody
to be on my side.

Speaker 6 (05:13):
But I'd rather like, if they are, I'm sorry, no,
go ahead.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
I feel like, if they are your real friends, I mean,
shout out to the ones who are telling you about this,
because I think they are real friends for you. But
anybody else who's in on this conversation and is not
telling this guy how's disgusting his behavior.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Is, including the men.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
And if those guys in your friend group are going
along with him, they might be capable of this behavior too,
and that's disgusting.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
But I'm also hoping in your friend group, I'm.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
Also hoping that one of the girls in that friend
group says, I talked to Megan about this and she
showed me the text and this is not the story, Like,
I why isn't somebody defending you in there?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Hey, what's up Kelly? Hi?

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Hi? Oh my gosh. I was just gonna say, this
is pitiful. It's giving real sad boy tender energy.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Oh yeah, I mean, but but how do you stop
this from happening and stop the BS rumors and stuff
from flying.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
I mean it's all his fault, really, So I mean
all you can do is like talk to your friends
and say, hey, like I feel like they should have
just got.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
The ultimate evidence of it by the written word in
text messages. What do you think about exposing that, like
letting everybody see that.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Oh, I would at least to my close friends that
it's an issue with No.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
I actually think she should post it up on our
social media thoughts.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
I mean, it depends what he deserves. If he's being
that petty about it, I wouldn't be against it.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Listen to hold On. Jenna's on the phone with us.
She had a guy do this to her. When was this, Jennet,
that this happened?

Speaker 7 (06:57):
Oh, just those years ago.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
This would have been.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Back college or something like that, or high school.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Okay, what happened, but so pre pre dating app.

Speaker 7 (07:07):
Dates to say the least. But yeah, so I had
actually was a wing woman situation. I was just out
with my my friend who was interested in a guy
and he had roommates, and I was just along for
the ride, and I happened to just get cozy on
the couch and I was ready to go to bed,
and this guy's like hitting on me, so or like whatever,

(07:27):
you know, we had fun that night.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
But then I find.

Speaker 7 (07:30):
Out the next you know, however, week later that he's
telling his friends that I came on to him, and
I'm like, what, I was ready to go to bed.
I did not come on to him. He actually came
over to me. So it was just a very.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Why did it matter though? Like why why would he
even bring that up?

Speaker 7 (07:46):
And yeah, why was it even talked about? I don't know,
but I definitely had to clarify that that's not what happened.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
It's amazing. You know what it is.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
It's a guy's ego, and once a guy's ego is bruised, Gail,
what's up?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
It's Mojoe in the morning.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Guys, good morning, naked. Why I'm going to tell you,
if he has the fault enough.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
To air out all of this crap, then you need.

Speaker 7 (08:10):
To stick up for yourself and no matter how how
gross it is, air out all of those.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Types of messages in that group chat.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
If he wants to be like that, then no, because
that's not even okay because that right there is damaging
your character to your front.

Speaker 7 (08:24):
And if he wants to continue to damage.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
Your character for a why, then you need to set
that straight. Sweetheart, yes, related birthdays that by.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
The way, are you a fifty year old woman that
would like to kiss him? We're trying to find a
fifth year old woman to kiss him. There no real
quick I think you're right if you're going to talk
about if you if you're willing to talk about it,
and I know that we're not saying names on the radio,
but obviously your friends, you know, listen and stuff. I
think now that they know you got their seats. If
I'm one of your friends, I'm going I want to
see this. I want to see the text message because

(08:54):
I want to I want to be able to do this,
and then I think the friends will be the ones
that will go, you know what, we don't believe you,
so honestly, I think you're smart.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
I think bringing it up on the air is all
you need to do.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
This yeah is my petiglma, but you know what deserves
I just I don't understand the internis of like just
airing out the business because you got denied by dude.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Yeah, just chill out.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
I think it would be better he'd get more sympathy
if he said, you know, I really made a move
on Megan, and I made a mistake because she's not
feeling it that way. And then it gives it goes, oh, okay,
this guy's actually kind of cute, you know, like he
was like I could be the bad guy.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
They'd be like, you don't know what she's missing, bro.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, although if it's the guy that you think it is, no.
You know what's funny is that as a guy, I
always never knew when to ask the girl because I
had a lot of girlfriends. When do you ask, like
how do you get the girl to cross that that
friendship line? Like I always never knew, and so I
like there were so many girls that I became friends

(09:54):
with over the years, especially you know, you know, being
like a younger guy, like a teen year old guy
that I never knew. I wonder if she would kiss me,
and I would just sit there and think about it
all the time and never do it. And then you
find out later that.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
There's a school reunion. There's the guy.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
There's a guy last year who missed it and he
should have asked and he did it, And now he
avoids me and our friend group every time I'm around.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Why do you think he avoids you?

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Because he got So this is a guy I kind
of met. We had a fling, and it was like
we did not know each other very well, but we
like just clicked and had a really great time. And
at some point in the night I was introduced to
somebody else and who actually works in our industry, and
I was just chatting genuine business with this other man

(10:44):
and the dude was very drunk that I had hit
it off with and got very jealous and left. And
if you would have just stuck around and had like
the best night, And have you ever reached back out
to him, No, because he I was supposed to see
him next day and he didn't show up, and it
was he was everybody said he was avoiding me, and
I I'm like, you freaking idiot. We could have had
the best time, best time if you would.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Have just talked.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
I don't want to hear my sister talking about giving
the guy the best time, but I just want you.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
To know that it was probably genuinely one of the
most romantic, cute nights of my life. And I like,
I told Shannon about like the thing that we did
under the subway, and like, yeah, I like to say that, no, no.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
No, the thing on the subway. You did it under
a subway and.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
It was like a truly a movie moment, and I
was like, oh my god, this is going to be
the best weekend ever, the best weekend ever, and then
he totally just avoided me the rest of the weekend.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
I was so bummed.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
And then there's that guy that invites you over at
eleven o'clock at night on a Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
What the hell's he thinking?

Speaker 1 (11:43):
I love Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan,
Megan
