Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Mojo in the morning show, who on the
show thinks that they had bed bugs?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I saw you, Itch, and as.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
You listen, you brought this up today, and I thought
to myself, well, kind of interesting, good, kind.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Of interesting that she And quite honestly, it has not
been confirmed, but I'm pretty certain that's what it was.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Well, and you are waiting how many days to tell us?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Well, because I didn't even know if I wanted to
talk about it, to be fully honest, like, this is
horribly embarrassing to talk about. So this actually happened last week,
That's how long it's And last night was the first
night that I looked down and I was like, oh,
my abdomen finally looks better.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Like I think they went away.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
So Wes and I stayed at a hotel last weekend.
I will not say which one because I actually.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Really like this place.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
And so that was Saturday night, and then either Monday
or two day morning, I think it was on Monday morning,
I was getting I got out of the shower and
I was getting ready and I looked down and saw
these little red bumps all over the left side of
my abdomen, and I called west into the bathroom, and
I said, I can't get the chicken pox twice, right,

(01:17):
because that's what this looks like. It looks like I'm
getting the chicken pox. And he said, no, but you
can get singles. But this doesn't really look like shingles
to me. And so you know this, Mojo, I have
the craziest allergies. I'm allergic to everything.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I know you had shingles. It's pain pain, That's what
I've heard.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
But I thought, Okay, maybe I touched something or I
wore something new that is just bugging, you know, my
skin is having a bad reaction to it. I could
not figure out what the heck they were. They were
like nine dots, they weren't spreading. It was only on
my left side, didn't it. So by Wednesday I still
have them again. This is last week, and so I

(01:57):
sent I was even too embarrassed to say anything to
doctor because normally I will just call or text doctor Warner.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
But I'm like, I don't even know what the heck
this is. Sent a pick to.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
My my friend group chat and one of my friends
called me immediately and she was panicking and she said, Shan,
I know this from personal experience. Those are bedbug bites.
And this makes perfect sense because you only sleep on
your left side, so of course, in true shan And fashion,

(02:27):
I start to panic. Okay, And she came over and
we checked my entire bed, mattress, mattress line.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Or couch everything.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I've only stay I mean, I've only been at my house,
and my house was totally clear. And she knows how
to check for bedbugs because my girlfriend had bedbugs. So
we you know, we checked. They leave like these little
dots whatever. We checked it all. So the only thing
that we could think of was that I.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Got it from the hotel.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
What about Wes? Did Wes have anything?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
So that's the other thing. So Wes did not have any.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
But also that night at the hotel, and I don't
know if this makes sense or not, or if this
could even be the case, he fell asleep in his
clothes that night.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
He was totally clothed, even to his shoes.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
So a wait, that was a good night. That is
a good night.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Okay, he fell asleep in his clothes. I did not.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
So four one nine says Shannon. Bedbugs do not go away.
They have to. You have to throw out every piece
of furniture.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
It wasn't my house. Wasn't my house?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I mean, we checked everything in my house. And by
the way, I'm I'm still crazy and I still went
and you know, redid everything. But the only if these
are even bed bugs and I have I mean I
have bedbug bis.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
I mean, it's so nasty.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
It's weird how it's just one area, specific area.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I only sleep on my left side.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Well, I know, but it's it's weird, but it's weird.
It's not like the bugs can't crawl on you and stuff, right,
I mean, they're sure.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
I don't know. I've never had this happen to me before.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Watch somebody sees a picture and they're like, that's not
bad bugs, that's.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
You know whatever. What would you rather have it be?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I don't know, not that it makes you feel any better.
I'm pretty sure she has not that either.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
I think I'd rather have bed budge either. I would
rather give me bed bugs over that one eight four
four Mojo Live eight four four six six five six
five four eight Did did do we have that picture?

Speaker 3 (04:20):
The Yeah, I'm kind of nervous supposed picture you don't
see my underwear, but whatever, I mean, well, because then
then you're not going.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
To see the Yeah eight, Cheryl, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (04:30):
It's not that cute anyway.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
Oh yeah, I used to work for the Marriott hotels,
and you need to call that hotel and tell them
what happened.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
It doesn't mean that they're a dirty hotel. It just
means somebody else brought them into that room and if
they don't catch that, it's going to do nothing but spread,
right and then, and they are.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Not a dirty hotel, cleanest hotel.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Right, neither were we, but we did end up getting
them several times. But what they have to do then
is closed down the room, the room on each side
of it, and the one on both and the one
beyond or the one. That's how much they spread.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
And I got lucky too because my girlfriend was like,
where is your bag that you brought with you? We
both came home and took a shower immediately for whatever reason,
not not even knowing any of this. And I was
lazy and had the tote bag carrying my overnight stuff.
I threw it in my guest room and it's still
completely packed with all my stuff. Yeah, so I've just

(05:26):
left it there.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I would get it and put it in the garage,
the garage, what's going on? Lisa?

Speaker 5 (05:32):
So I would agree that it probably was said bug bit.
They can come home with you, but a lot of
the time they stay where they know food is going
to be and they fight in increments of three. They
had the joke, as they call it, breakfast lunch in dinner.
So had nine nine and they will only target like

(05:56):
a warm clothes big.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Can we get bed bugs by being by her? Right now? Now?

Speaker 3 (06:00):
It was like if they're crawling, see I have you
know how they tell you they have the phantom the
phantom phone rings, the phantom vibrations. I have had phantom
creepy crawley.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
For a week and a half.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Now, hey, Sarah, you don't think it's bed bugs.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
What do you think they're I think she just has
has highs. I had the same thing. I googled because
like I woke up one morning and like broke out
thinking I had bad dogs. Search the whole house. You
know what I did, the whole nine The photos of
what I had looked like that dog and it looks
like I had hives.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Oh jeez, okay, what's worse hives?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Or you want to Yeah, I mean they lasted.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Truly, you're not there anymore.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Truly, yesterday was the first day. I mean, I don't
have them anymore.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yeah, okay, see this is exactly why it was topic,
because now nobody's gonna want to sit next to me.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Kever, he moved over, and that was your breath though,
