Speaker 1 (00:17):
Just a small town girl.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Living in a lower way.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
He took them in, not tres.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
You the city by.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Waning raise the sutra. There you go. He took them in,
not tremon and way.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Megan is very upset, guys, and this son is a
weird one. She is upset because people are not talking.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Bad about her. I don't get this. I don't get
it at all. I'll sing up in a smoking room
means wine and.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Goes on.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Waiting the ball. Wait, why why is it that you're
a little salty here? Huh?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Because I feel very left out right now, and I'm
actually kind of heartbroken over this.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
So I fell into a rabbit hole.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I saw a comment on a Facebook page and it
was like, oh, I read all about them on a
Reddit thread, and by them, I mean us the monjo.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
In the Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Wa Yeah, I don't do Reddit.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I love Reddit.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I love having an anonymous accountant just arguing it's great.
It was all about us and just like media personalities
in general, and it was pretty much a Reddit thread
to talk smack about their everybody's least favorite media personalities
in the area. And I was like, okay to the

(02:23):
reddits as keV would say, and I said, let me
go exploring, and I went to this page that had
over five hundred comments just ragging on bad experiences people
have had meeting people in the media.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
And some of them I was like, I accurate. Some
of them. I was like, how dare you?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
That is the nicest person in the right right. And
I was like digging through it and digging through it,
and I'm like, all right, what are they gonna say
about me?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Am I gonna fight with him?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I dug through over five hundred comments and there wasn't
one about me, and I was getting so angry that
I was completely left off the list of hate. And
I was sitting on the phone with my brother reading
them and like something would pop up and he would
be like, I've met them, They're so kind.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
That's crazy to hear. He said, come on, there's got
to be one about you, Like we gotta laugh about this.
And I couldn't buy what And I found this is unusual,
by the way, Like what the hell? This is unusual?
You hate when you.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Have people on social media that will say stuff very true.
I agree, you have come over to my side of
the table here. I love when people say.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Negatives yes and no, I think there was a part
of it where a lot of people were talking like
they had the proper information and they didn't like people
were speculating about people's contracts and salaries and and you
sit there and you're like, I love that, you're speaking
like you're an authority, and you couldn't be more wrong
on this.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
So we were just going at it with the.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Attitude of come on, this is crazy and I couldn't
find this.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I felt so left out by the way. You give
me a fair Will you send me the link? Because
I love that stuff. So they used to be what
the heck was it called Detroit Radio Board or whatever.
It used to be.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
A buzz board. Yeah, they used to be it, and
members of the show would come in in the morning,
go did you see what they just said about? And
I would go and I don't even know what you
guys were talking about. And they would sit there and
talk about it, and they would like it bother them
so much, so I'm like, well, I wonder what they're saying.
And I went to the thing, and the link on

(04:26):
us was they hated us. They thought everything on our
show was bs. We're all fake, we don't know it
it's like all this stuff and I'm going I kind
of like this. First off, I don't know if you
guys ever took a marketing class.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
There's chatter.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
I went to Columbia College Chicago, never graduated, but I
went there.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I took a marketing class one time, and they said
that nothing as long as they're talking about you, that's good.
It don't make a difference.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
And they were talking about they talked about like all
the things that could go wrong of them saying negatives
about you, and there were more things that could go
right if you handle it right. So sometimes I just
say lean into it. But I love when uh so
buzzboar or uh BuzzFeed has this to Reddit. I love Reddit.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
My favorite reddits are the favorite reddit is.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
I was walking down the street today and I saw
a woman with her kid and she told the kid,
you're a dumb mother effort.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
What should I do? I'm like, what should you do?
You should tape it. You should tape it and put
the video on here, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I saw a post from four years ago that said
our show was not going to be on much longer,
and I was like, it turns out not the games do.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
You know, one of my favorite things ever in the
history of my career was the first radio article that
was ever written about this radio show and about me personally,
was a guy they named John Smintech.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
You can look it up online. He used to be
the writer for the Detroit Free Press.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
John Smintech gave us a yeah, this might be one
of those fly by night shows that just uses Detroit
as a stepping stone.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
How do you step stone? Detroit is a destination?

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Well that was his that was his thoughts, and I
don't think he thought we were First off, he thought
we were irreverent to the frequency because the frequency was
boring before, said.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Jossch So that's st was no id No, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Maybe that's how you spell it. But hold on a
second here. Can you believe this, Courtney, that Meghan actually
wants to be talked about in a negative way?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
What's going on? Courtney?

Speaker 5 (06:38):
Hi? So I am just so curious, Meghan. I'm sorry
you weren't on the thrived you could hate you.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
But what did they say about Mojo?

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Some people hate you?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I'm sure I love what is on here? What's what
did they say? Do they say anything good about me?

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Come?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
On telling me.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
There was a lot of people that were annoyed by
the drops, which to me is funny because like, I
think that's what makes this so fun is.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Like they would be like, I hate the I love
you twoes?

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Is that always we love you too? I actually responded
that to a nasty text message this morning. Somebody said
that to me, and I said, as Judge Vonda would say,
I love you too.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
But it was a lot of that.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
It was a lot of I was shocked because it's
some of our most popular things people were hating on,
which I think is almost the most funny part of everything.
Like people being like, war are the roses is such
a disgusting way for them to exploit people in their relationship.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
We should be rooting for love. And I was like,
first of all, your arm readit. Nobody hears rooting for love.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
But second of all, everybody loves more of the roses.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
It's like our biggest thing. No, ready, here's a great one.
Can I were you gonna read a sweet Lou? Sweet Lou?
Three to oho two? Go ahead, says Mojo. Period. He
comes off as so insecure and creepy at the same time. Yeah,
and what is your point with that a little creepy,

(08:14):
I thank you for that. Hold on, let's see you here.
Just hitting everybody now at this point.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
But do you have anybody who has like talked smack
about you or somebody you know that you just like
know is the nicest person?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Like I really wanted to fight for some of the
people in the comments.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
My my.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Oh by the way, here's a good one too, uh.
Detroit Radio Mojo in the Morning going down Hell, anyone
grieving the changes of Mojo in the Morning. I just
want you to know that show has gone downhill for years.
What a horrible radio show. How is it still last?
It just proves that iHeart radio has no money to

(08:50):
pay its people. Oh my god, they sound so insecure
and arrogant. It must be the same person that brought
that other one, because why were they both write.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
That secure and arrogant at the same test. I want
to explain that to me.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Well, I did see the same user like post every
two days, and I was like, Buddy, the hobby used
to work here.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
The new personality is so rude and arrogant. I can't
even listen anymore. He is so cocky and expects everyone
to bout are they talking about you?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Is that my sister? Oh my god? This is by
the way. Then there's people. This is the greatest.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
People are like, you must not listen, you dumb spit.
keV is awesome. We love cav He's so down to earth.
He's an angel.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
That's my favorite thing when people post negative comments anywhere,
whether it's on our social media or this you know
this rando reddit, is that our our rider dies. We
call them p ones like swoop in And that's why
I never I tried never to respond unless it's like
aimed very directly at one of you guys, and I
get protective. But I'm like three two one, here come

(09:52):
the listeners.

Speaker 4 (09:53):
My favorite yesterday I posted the last picture from the
old building and my favorite uh post on there was
somebody that said you are too hard on yourself, Mojo, Like,
I thought that that was what a good listener said.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
That was so sweet.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
That's a nice comment.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
No, I loved it. I thought it was great.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
But you're right, those are mainly the people that do
that are usually are follow the people that follow us
on social and stuff. Yeah, go ahead and then I'll
grab you sean hold on this is.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
From og Buddha for twenty oh. Yeah, Jay Towers used
to work with him. That guy is a major deuce.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Come on, we know Buddha. Yeah, that's his name on
the air.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
The funny the funny thing is that Jay Towers is
like the nicest guy ever, and I actually hate that
he's that nice, Like I want I want to not
like Jay Towers because we're competitors, but I love Jay Towers.
What's up, William or Sewan? I'm sorry, that's who.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
I picked up? Hi, Sean? What's going on? Buddy?

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Hey? Check it out?

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Man?

Speaker 6 (11:02):
Look Megan, if you don't got no haters, that means
you're not doing enough. So you need to start doing
more and people will start talking about you. Trust and
believe what I first started. When I first started this
pipe fitting, I had I had no haters. Then once
I started doing this pipe fitting getting money, I started

(11:24):
seeing people disappear.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
And you know what I mean, hat on me?

Speaker 3 (11:29):
What are you doing it like you're an actual plumber
or is that like you're talking about something else.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
I'm a I'm a Gernman piter, which is it's it's
industrial and commercial, and then I am a plumber as well.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Okay, all right, I was wondering people talk about is
there an underground like message boards about plumbers everybody.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
I mean, I'm saying like people, people that I grew
up with, and you know what I'm saying, and I'm
not that. I'm not doing that no more than they
hate me now because I'm not around to do that.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
I'm handling my business well as uh as they say
in the movie the interview, they hate us because.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
They yeah for show for show man, thank you, no doubt,
thank you.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Body.

Speaker 6 (12:19):
Just just notice Megan, Just notice Meigan. I coined the
phraise Megan got him big, and you do got it?

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I love you? What's up, William High?

Speaker 6 (12:32):
Hey, it's it's just like what you guys are doing.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
It's just like what me the mean tweets that like
Jimmy Emily used to do.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah, yeah, you guys should do something like that.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
Man, remember they used to have Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I think we should do right now? Yeah, why don't
we read through some more? What are some of them
any more?

Speaker 4 (12:50):
Ideas?

Speaker 1 (12:50):
I don't want to read this this one. Some of
them are like this, Why who's it about? Ones are
making me so mad? If they're fun, you want to
read it out. Okays, a lot of other people. I
don't like that.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
By the way, William, we're gonna take a bunch of
these together and we'll produce something up and we'll we'll
put it up on on the air.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Okay, Yeah, that would be hilarious.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
Thanks for the call that show up. What's out misfit
Ron calling us from the farm?

Speaker 1 (13:30):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (13:30):
Ron? Hey, I just wanted to comment about about the
topic right now. Yes, I feel like they can't ask
what thoughts. It's the kind of look at the kind
of funding we have to have literally the least amount
of commercials of any radio show.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Well, it's also we lack an advertisers sometimes, but but
we're trying.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
We got we got try exactly. This is like public
this is like PBS.

Speaker 4 (14:01):
We're gonna actually start asking you guys to all send
money in to I Heard Radio to keep us employed.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
The other radio shows got enough funding to have like
five people I know working on this machine. For people
are gonna they're gonna hate. The only reason why they
hate is because you're on the radar doing good.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Thank you. That's why they're hating.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
Not everybody's gonna like everybody's ebody.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Thanks Ron, but
