Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojoe in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Shannon, you went to go visit Wes while he was working,
your husband, and you said you didn't even recognize him.
It's it's kind of weird to see your spouse in
their work setting so.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Different from how he is at home.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
I surprised him and just went in to see if
he wanted to grab some lunch. And it's just so
funny to see how all of his employees act around him,
because at home and you guys know, he's like a
he's a big idiot. He's always joking and he's loud
and just you know, laughing. And at work, I said,

(00:37):
I go, or your employee is afraid of you or something.
What do you do to these people? Why do they
look like they're They just look like they're Yeah, Like
you know when you walked into the classroom of the
strictest teacher in your high school and everybody behaved a
certain way.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
That's kind of what it reminded me of.

Speaker 5 (00:55):
You know who the biggest butthole at their job is,
Scott Mick No, oh huge. But I will never forget
the time he invited me to his Christmas party as
his plus one and everybody was like, good evening, mister Mick,
It's very nice to see you out.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
And how are you?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Like you're an a.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Really so Scott Actually he's not like the loving wow goofy.
Like when I think of Scott Mick, I think of
John Goodman from the Roseanne Show.

Speaker 5 (01:25):
Okay, So Scott mic is like he's he works in quality, right,
which is not a real job, and he doesn't like
it's like anybody could do it.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
That's what I always tell him. It's like you don't
have a real job.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
And so in the corporate office, he's like mister happy
go lucky, and.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
He wears Hawaiian shirts and like everybody loves him.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
So he's the Scott make you here on the air, right,
the guy that calls in. That's who he is when
he's at his office, when he is on a plant,
he is the meanest.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Person you've ever heard in your entire life.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Never see it.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
And he but dialed me one time in a meeting
where he was screaming and I was like, I haven't
heard that since I was six on the stairs because
like I threw a toy at somebody like.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
You are me.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I want to go back to West for one second.
I want to know what is it like with him?
First off, you know, I kind of have an idea
of what he does for a living, but I'm thinking
to myself. But I'm thinking of myself, it doesn't seem
like a job where you would uh, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Be well, he's the head of a team. Yeah, so
so he works. I hope I can say his company.
He works for a company called Autohaller Exchange in there
in Rochester. He shout out to them, great company. And
he is the head of engineering for this company. So
he he has a team underneath him, and I think
he's just very regimented. And for example, so we did

(02:46):
end up going out to lunch and we walked to
this place, you know, if you live in the Rochester
work in the Rochester area, it's called Chomp.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
It's on a corner.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
And so we were sitting outside on the patio and
we're just talking and whatever, and three members from his
team walk by because it's it was a beautiful day
and they were out on their lunch and they see him.
Hell and all of a sudden they're like we and
a week yes, they were, they were going back.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
We're just trying to use our full hour.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
And I look at him like, what, you're the scary.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Guy that's we're is so not him?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
He turn you on though, Like did to see him
in uh in that kind of a way? Or did
it did you want did you want that version of
West to come home with you?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
No? No, no, It's funny.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Have you ever seen Tony Travado out of the office, Like,
you know how we see our boss Tony here in
the office and Tony is the you know, wears you know,
slacks and a button up shirt kind of guy, or
wears you know, his jeans and a button up shirt.
When you see him with a pair of shorts on
and like a baseball hat, it's weird, right, I.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Would die if if Tony walked in shorts. I don't
think I have off the ground.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
His kids need to come and see dad here because
it's it is wild to see him here that versus there.
I want to see what Colleen, our boss is like
at home.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Colleen, but I bet she's the same, because I feel
like she's fun here.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah, but she she's kind of she's business like, she's
got her business like hair. But then she has those
moments where she gets like a lane from Seinfeld kind
of goofy, like where she wants to start dancing, and
you're like, okay, all right, settled down down there, all right,
calm down, We're okay here right now. But no, but
I think that she goes home and I picture that
she puts on like uh foot flops, a shirt, a

(04:40):
T shirt and a baseball hat on and has got
a beer in her hands, Colleen.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
In her back with a with a lazy boy with
her feet out, like hanging out, hanging out on something.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
She has a good I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Be supprised if she wrote up a joint. I'm thinking,
I don't.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I don't see that.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
I don't know, really, you look like a swimmer, yeah,
but it's not a pool.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
It's a baby pool that she just sits in. And
she's like in a baby.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Pool in the backyard on when I was hot there
in a bottom of wine with a margaret with a
with a ranch water in hand or something. So I
but it's funny with the West thing because I've seen
West kind of like that. Because West sometimes I feel
like when I first met West, and this is not
when I first met him, when he was uh doing.
We were doing that bit together, like when Shannon first

(05:30):
got introduced to him. This is after Shannon started dating him.
He came in the studio. He'll always walk over to
me and he'll always go, hey, so, how are you doing, Tom?
Like he does the whole thing like that, and I'm.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Going I think he's still he was nervous around you.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Got a little nervous.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Now he's loosened up a little bit where he's kind
of like, hey, how you doing, and stuff like that.
Farts on you, you know, it's like, what you just
farted on me? What are you fighting on you?

Speaker 1 (05:51):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (05:52):
There are those people, though, that you enjoy because you
don't work, to West's point, up under them, so to speak,
they turn into a different person. I've had many conversations
where I come around and I'm just gonna use a name.
I'm like, hey, what's up, Sarah, and Sarah's all cool,
and then the people work under stairs like, you don't
know the Sarah.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
We know, Yeah, that's not the same person.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
You like, it's so funny you say that, because so
my contract is up at the end of the year.
We've been talking about this this week and Wes was like, Okay,
worst case scenario, they don't renew your contract. You could
just come work for me like I would use yours.
I never ever, ever, even if you paid me a
million dollars, come work with you. Really, no, he is
not the same person at work. We would butt heads

(06:33):
so bad it would ruin our marriage.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah, there is no.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Way the couples that work together. I think that's gotta
be stressful.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Could you work with family?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
I worked with my brother it was awesome. Or radio?

Speaker 1 (06:47):
See, I really your brother was in radio? What did
he do?

Speaker 2 (06:50):
He was?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
He was my intern for a long time.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Really, let's just trade for the other. Yeah, let's do that.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Well, he and I worked so well together, it's not
even funny.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
You guys are always together. So you guys kind of besties.
So that would pretty good.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
But we know how to fight and get over it.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
But he answered to you, like, really because I worked
for my brother at the Plush Horse ice cream parlor
and my brother was My brother was an a hole.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
He was mean.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Did you were a bikini when you serve that?

Speaker 1 (07:22):
At both? You know what? This reminds.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
This reminds me of though of Shannon going into Wes's
office and seeing Wes at work. It reminds me of
the first time that I saw my school teacher out
of school at the grocery store and she was with
her family and I was like, run from her. She's mean,
Like I wanted to tell her kids, like the warning
like you know what I mean, like a different environment,
yeah twice, So she's hurting you exactly. So I often

(07:49):
see some of the people that work around here and
I want to know what they're like at home, like
I do.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Give me one, Well, I.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Want to see what Cody's like, you know, I see
Cody on her social media, you know, with her her son.
But I want to see Cody like, you know, running
the household there, like she runs hair, Like does she
yell at her husband and her kid? Like she does
the uh the promotions people here, Like, is is.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
She similar to you know to that where she's got to.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Like set up the tent, Yeah, you know, go on,
get the checklist going, you know, stuff like that. Or
I want to see, like there's a couple of people
like Lester, Lester, who's here I want to see. I
want to see Lester as a grandpa because he's a grandpa,
but here at the station and he's like, you know,
the lovable Lester.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
You know what I like?

Speaker 6 (08:35):
Lester is just always no matter if he's in the
gym or if he's at home and gage, he's always
lifting something. Yeah. Yeah, I just watching TV with dumb bills.
What about Mark Mackovich? What do you think Mark? Our engineers?

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Mark probably only.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
Wear a white T shirt, no draws, He got a
beerro he got a hole in his lazy.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Boy watching just like he will be wearing. And he's
watching like it. He's watching like some eighties cop.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
Showing like the most high tech, like elegant livings.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
That was surprised. Wouldn't that be wild? That was super surprised. Yeah?
Do you think Mark ever eats in his dining room?
You know what I mean? Like the room?

Speaker 4 (09:16):
No?

Speaker 1 (09:20):
He sandwiches sandwiches and Plaine wait.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
No no, no, no no, and camp and Campbell's Hearty BB soup right,
the one that do.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
The one that Donovan mcnabbs did the commercials for. I
remember that.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
Why is it?

Speaker 6 (09:39):
What?

Speaker 1 (09:40):
The soup is cool?

Speaker 3 (09:41):
It tastes like dogs food, you eat it up.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
It's delicious, so so different.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Eight four for Joe Live eight four four six six
five six byfore eight. This, by the way, is the
most meaningless conversation to our listeners who know none.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Of these people. You know what, you know what exactly
this is.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
They first tell you inside radio you should not do
inside radio.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
This is inside radio. What's up, Lenz, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Bye?

Speaker 3 (10:08):
I just wanted to comment on what you guys.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Are talking about.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Now.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Yeah, I was on probation.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
I'm not proud of it, but I ended up seeing
my probation officer on the lake.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
She was on a boat.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
And she was drinking and it was like girls done wild.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
But my probation officer.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Wait when you see your probation officer on the lake,
how much of the illegal narcotics did you have to
throw over into the water.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Oh my gosh. The whole day was ruined.
