to wildcast Um on the campus of Whalen Union High School,
where tonight on a girls edition of the LMCU High
School Basketball Game of the Week, we feature division rivalry
between two of the top three teams, and the OK
gold Sophia Prinz and the ten and two Sailors of
South Christian square off for the first time this season

with Harmony Laker and the seven and three Wildcats of Whalen.
John Ill because our executive producer extraordinaire tonight will be
replaced by joining as we go through the broadcast along
with Jasonutt. My name is Brett Pagetta and Jay always
a great rivalry when these two get together on the
girls side. Let's quickly on this abbreviate a JH Family
Stores pregame show. Take a look at the keys tonight's contest.

It's gonna be fun as far as temple up and down,
and these teams like to shoot the three.

Well, and they also have played some great games against
one another. They're just kind of carrying on this tradition
and we expect another classic South Christian Whale game tonight.
So let's start with the visiting Sailors. They need to
play tough. I had a chance to talk to you
head coach Erica Brown before the game, and she said, Yo,
this is gonna be a tough game. We're gonna have
to get gritty to win this game. So they gotta play
top and they're gonna mix it up right like. South

Christian's considerably smaller than Whalen, as are most of the
Wildcats opponents. We're gonna see South Brenna press. We'll see
him run three quarter court. We'll see him run man,
We'll see him run zone. They got to use their
speed athleticism against the bigger Whalen team. And for the Wildcats,
they need to take care of the basketball right. Turnovers
always seem to be such a large part of these games.
They have got to take it away more than they

give it away. And then they need to look at
Sophia Prinz and Lizzie Waldeys, the top two scorers for
South Christian. They have got to contain those two South
Christian players if Whaleen's gonna have a win tonight.

You can see both of these teams moving their offensive
for me or they excuse me, their starting lineups a
little bit. As we have Lauren Baltima, the six to
three sophomore also starting from Whale. This is a big

Laker with the ball in her hands right Mersa Ainsworth
is the point guard. She's a good one, but south'spent

juniors starting as sophomores last year. Now Helms dribble penetration,

Of course, it is their best player. In harmony, laker
I liked the high low for the Wildcats down on

Christian and a tight win in the third quarter. Remember
Whalen had trouble scoring, had to do it from the
charity strike due to the final situation, ten to eight.

Well, this is a little difficult decision. Was not necessarily

the cause turnovers, getting out and getting some easy buckets.

at that point, maybe getting ready for the tournament, they

Well yeah, if CC Bonner and Mariah Sane are playing,
that's one of the best matchups in the state, no question.
