tonight on the road to the Bresident Center, presented by

between the twenty two and three Falcons of West Catholic
and the twenty four and two Sailors of South Christian.

member of our crew. And what is unique about this
buck Gino as we're one ticket punch away from the
final four in the President Center for West Catholic, just
like Rockford trying to do it tonight against Grant Aven.
That'd be four consecutive seasons if they can do it
tonight against their rival South Christian. These two teams not

only from the same area in West Michigan, but the
same Okay Conference division of the ok Goal They were
code champs split in the regular season. Here we go
the third goal round, yet they don't meet until the quarterfinal.

Yes, now, every day that you get that this far
into the tournament for any sport, really, I mean We've
done football games where we have local SAMI finals or
regional finals perhaps, but you know, rarely in the same division.
But now you have a girls' quarterfinals. So these two
teams have already played twice and that's gonna give each team,
I think a little bit more of an advantage because

they've already seen these teams, right, so they kind of
know what to expect. They don't have to make up
a new game plan, so to speak. They can come
into this game be comfortable. Both teams beat each other
at home the first time, so this is a neutral
court so we'll get to decide the season series here.
But you're right, I mean, two good teams and pretty
good I think, probably the best girls basketball division in

West Michigan. I know the Rockford and Grand Haven are
squaring off in the OK Red.

But I think depth wise, when you go top to bomb,
you look at some of the teams at the botom
of the Red versus some of the teams at the
bomb of the Wide.

I mean, I think game in and game out, there
was a lot of competitive basketball to be played. But really,
I mean just great accomplishment for not only South Christian.
They're looking to get to the Breslan for the first
time since twenty sixteen, and Derek Pies in his first
year at West Catholic. Well, his girls at least know
the way to Breslan because they've been there quite a
few times under coach vandr Andy Banou. With Derek at

the Helm, they're looking to get back there again with
a new cast. So big game for both teams, and
based on what the regular season brush should be a
good one.

Sophia Friends, the outstanding junior point god one of the
leaders for South Christian. Alisia Diikster, a discorder thousandth career
point headed the University of Toledo, the senior leader for
West Catholic. As we go, Falcons twenty two and three,

I think for both teams, their best players have to play.

When we did the game against Moskegean, West Catholic did
not have a lot of scoring from some of their
better players. I'm not gonna call anybody out right now,
but i will say as a blanket statement, when you
get this far, you can't make it without your best
players playing at their best. Now, they're gonna have some
stiff competition, of course, because the other team's just as.

Good, but they have to have somebody.

I mean, if you've got a girl like Alicia Diischer
who's going to Toledo, she's gotta score you some points.
If you have a girl like Lily Knitts who's a senior,
could be her last game, she's got to come through.
So there's a lot of different players that can contribute.
But your your stars have to be there for you
at this time because this is when you're supposed to shine.

the best on the best, but they have to come
to play and they have to produce.

a freshman and then Lily Nets at seven point six

a great job even though Ignatowski went nuts from behind
