when you tell me I'm a good cook, that just

makes me feel so good. And we're talking about compliments. Now,

oh when you say that I look beautiful or I'm
so handsome. We're asking you about your favorite compliments. I
love when someone sees maybe kindness in my heart and
they will text me. I got a beautiful text overnight
from a sweet lady who just saw that kindness. I thought, well,

that is so cood than you exactly. And we're asking
you about compliments. And we've got Diana calling in from
spring a kindergarten teacher, talk about joy those precious kids, Diana.
I bet when that light bulb goes off and they
start to reading, it must be amazing.

Yes, I love that. This is one of the things
I love about being a kindergarten teacher, I bet.

And I don't know if the kids compliment you, but
but maybe they do, or maybe their parents, and maybe
a parents compliment you. Complimenting you is like the best
thing ever for you. What is it for you, Diana?

It is when a kid realizes they can read. That
needs a big compliment for me. But on a more
personal level, when my own my child, my own child
who's in college now calls me when she's stressed or
sick and tells me I just need to hear your voice.
That makes me feel better.

Oh that'll always be always be over the moon.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Yeh Yeah, all those years of hard work paying.

Off now right, absolutely.

Oh that's wonderful. What's your daughter's name, Angelica? And what
does Angelica want to do when she's at a school?

She's studying political science and is thinking of maybe law school.

I bet you're such a proud mom. Where's she going

just the best lady in the world. Right, well, I
would hope, so, yes, I'm sure they do. Yah, Rita,
you've got your own kids and they're teenagers. How's that
working out?

They actually helped me keep up with what's strending, and
so that kind of helps me. I don't know what
I'm gonna do when they grow up.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
What are your kids' names?

Speaker 4 (07:41):
My kids at home are John, he's John, and my teenager.
But at school I have third, fourth and fifth graders.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Why are they?

Oh?

Wow, Well, speak about John. How does he does he
love the fact that you're a teacher?

Yeah? I guess so because I'm off for the whole summer.

what's the best compliment John ever said to you? That
just made you feel like such a proud mom.

Let me see. Sometimes I guess when when I let
him stay up late with me and we'll watch a movie,
you know, he'll tell me, Hey, you know, I don't
think I could have done this with dad. So I
think that's a good compliment.

Oh that's so good.
