happy Tuesday to you always. Please talk to John Rollman
from cover sincey, you can talk to him too, and
I strongly encourage you to do it, and you're probably
gonna want to do it if you haven't done it already,
call him up and talked about what you are, where
you are in your life relative to your medical insurance.
Because John and the team at Cover, since he can,

(01:16):
I feel almost one hundred percent confident either give you
a peace of mind that you were in the best
possible place to be, or save you like thirty to
sixty percent lower your cost and get your coverage up front.
Welcome back John Rolman from Cover. Sincey. It's great to
have you on this show today.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Oh you too, Brian.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Good morning, and you can also tune in on Sundays
at eight thirty and here John and I talk. We
do a half hour segment there and always talk about
all these different facets of medical insurance. And I have
learned so much. I mean, considering the fact that I
spent eight years at Anton, Blue Cross and Blue Shield
in the litigation department. You think I know this kind
of stuff, But as John points out each and every

(01:56):
week as well as every time I talk to him,
there are a whole bunch of people out there that
sell medical insurance that don't know Jack Squad. John and
his team work with hundreds of insurance companies, thousands of
different medical policies, but they work for you, so they
are your It's like a financial plan or fiduciary obligation,
not wed to an insurance company, which is usually what

(02:19):
people end up doing when they go out into the
world and try to find something better. But I guess
I got to ask you just right out front, John,
what do you want to talk about today? What do
you want to focus on in terms of our conversation
because there's literally like nine gazillion different ways we can
go on.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
This Oh absolutely, I mean, and just really pointing out
that show, Brian, because there's so much information on there
that we give and a lot of people that we
run into are I would just say, just not really
reverse in medical insurance. And it's a really good segment
that we have on eight o'clock on Sunday mornings that
really kind of dive into a lot of the intricacies

(02:54):
of health insurance and what people should really look at.
But you know, right now is the biggest time of
year for us, for a lot of your listeners. This
is the you know, we call it the open enrollment,
the healthcare dot gov ACA, whatever you want to call it.
But it's so important for a lot of individuals that
are you know, shopping for health insurance on their own
or just so many people I listen to that just

(03:14):
think they can't afford it. This is just a phenomenal
time for them to look at it and for us
to really help them. You know, a lot of them
go you know, directly to healthcare dot Gov or you
just find some local agent with some you know, some
in directly with some insurance company instead of really you know,
seeing their options. You know, the the out of pocket
this year and those plans is is ninety two hundred

(03:37):
dollars for an individual. You're talking eighteen thousand, four hundred
dollars in financial exposure for a family. And you know
a lot of people don't realize that when they even
purchase some of these plans. They look at the deductible
and don't realize what they're actually on the hook for.
And that's one of our biggest segments that we do
BRAN is really analyze it, look at it. You know,

(03:59):
see if you guys qualify for tax credits. But more importantly,
it's the gap coverages that so many people need. I mean,
who can afford eighteen on a win now?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah, and that's after you pay the damn premium. I mean,
this is one of the things you like to focus on. Okay,
add up all your premium and all throughout the year,
and then throw on top of it you got to
be out of pocket eighteen grand plus for a family.
Many people just make the decision, you know what, this
is just not affordable. I just can't do it. And
then what happens if you get a real like a
cancer diagnosis or something really bad happens. I mean that's

(04:32):
where bankruptcy comes from. So you can fill those holes
and filling the holes and it is not ultimately that expensive.
When you calculate what money you're gonna save in terms
of the out of pocket liability, it's just amazing.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Oh absolutely. We run the numbers all the time, and
you know, just the difference in premium. These individuals that
have to go sometimes five to seven years with no
claims to even justify that extra or coverage, and that
doesn't happen, and we see it all the time. Just
an accident, a broken leg, go to the emergency room,
and you know you're looking at a three to five
thousand dollars bill, or you know, oh my, here comes

(05:10):
a surgery. I didn't realize I had a hernia or
or god forbid, something life threatening that you're dealing with
not only just this year, but maybe next year. So
now you got two massive out of pockets that you
have to reach for the next two years. So it's
just it makes such good financial sense to look at
all of the options. And that's what we do, Brian,
you know, being unbiased, you know, not working directly for

(05:33):
an insurance company. You know a lot of the times
when we meet with our clients and then and your listeners, Brian,
that you know, we sit there and literally just break
down the coverages and I'll write them two or three
different insurance company products like them. So we're talking like
they can have different insurance companies. They don't have to
have everything through one carrier. And that makes the most

(05:53):
financial sense because not every insurance company has the best product, right,
and we can customize them for every listener, right.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
And that's how you end up getting some dollar one
coverage and circumstances like under Obamacare where you never would
have that, and then there's other little you know, fun
facts and fun policy things like for example, I mentioned
that cancer diagnosis. You have a very very affordable policy
that if you get a cancer diagnosis, they just write
you a giant check. All you need is a diagnosis.

(06:22):
The insurance company send you a check for like fifty
grand or even more up front, taking the sting out
of all of these expenses you're going to have out
of your pocket.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yeah, they're just I mean, there's so many expenses, Brian.
I mean I have clients literally in the Cincinnati area
that have that are living in Houston going to MD
Anderson to get their cancer treatment. Yeah, and you know,
no one's paying for the hotel room now you're down there,
the travel to meals everything else that you're encompassing on
top of the fact that they're not working, you know.

(06:53):
And that's something to really think about, is you know
how many people were just receie a huge uptick in
things like cancer nowadays, and more and more people are
surviving of course heart attacks and strokes than ever before.
But it's the loss of income, the time off from
work that can bankruptc us bankrupt us and you know
these policies. They are not expensive. These are not little policies, guys.

(07:16):
These are literally plans that cuts you checks within five
to six weeks of your diagnosis. Like you mentioned fifty
hundred thousand. I mean, it's money in hand. So all
you have to worry about is getting better and better,
not worrying about how you're paying your bills.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
And John and his whole team do a very individualized approach.
And my buddy Jeff or Markhn just told me, he
said say hi to John for me. You did their
whole company. It's a small group, but everyone there is
extremely pleased that they're paying a hell of a lot
less for their coverage. They've got better coverage. And I
know you did John a huge world of good in
improving his business's bottom line. At the same time, so

(07:53):
that John and the team of covers, since it doesn't
cost you a dime to work with them, get in
touch with them. They'll do that type of analysis for
you or your family or your small group every employee
has looked at individually, and he'll put the package together.
And I think the best advice is that could come
out of you, John, is what you told my wife
and me. No you guys are in the best possible
place right now, So that made life easier. I could exhale.

(08:17):
See I took my own advice and gave you a
ring uh and it's so much more. And then on
top of all of that, I love pointing this out.
John and his team are with you all the time.
After that, you have any claims problems, do you have
any questions, you have any issues, you never have to
call the insurance company. You call John and the team.
