Borena | La terra senza pioggia
Dei cambiamenti climatici si parla sempre più spesso, gli eventi meteo estremi sono aumentati anche in Italia negli ultimi anni. Alcuni mesi di siccità invernale, una grandinata o un’alluvione spesso non sono sufficienti per credere che le cose sono già cambiate e che la terra stia diventando “ostile” per le attività umane. “Borena” è un viaggio alla scoperta di questa regione dell’Etiopia dove la popolazione da sempre vive di pastorizia e agricoltura. Oggi invece si sono trasformati in profughi interni e molti di loro devono percorrere chilometri e chilometri ogni giorno per trovare un piccolo ruscello che scorre sul letto di un grande fiume ormai prosciugato o scavare buche al centro di un lago che fino a pochi anni fa sembrava inesauribile. Quasi tutti scelgono di restare, ma il sogno dei più giovani è partire, direzione Europa.
