Speaker 1 (00:00):
She's dressed to impress, which is what we encourage at
the Ponte to dress up your pups for an amazing event.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Tell me about your story how you and Penny came together.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Sure so, really it's because of the Aerofund in the community.
But she was found in December of twenty twenty. She
was thrown from a car in a plastic bag. Someone
had broken three of her four legs two weeks prior
to throwing her out, and one was so severely injured
that had to be amputated, and multiple vets recommended she

(00:33):
be euthanized just because they didn't know if she could
recover in her quality of life. But she showed a
will to live and a fighting spirit, and so the
Aerofund stepped in and the community rally behind her, and
they weren't going to give up on her if she
wasn't going to give up either.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Her sweet little face there. She loves people, loves people.
I mean I saw her out in the newsroom a
few minutes. Hope she's got to go see how are
you good to see you a stranger? She loves everyone
and every party best. Tom Hamm represents the Aerophones good
to have you here.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Thanks for having us.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
The Aero Fund. Obviously, these these stories are they're they're
horrible in the beginning and kind of miraculous in the end.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Yeah, And I really like the way that we do things,
like you're going to see the horrible pictures, but you're
going to see that animal all the way through the
whole process. It's whole healing process, all the way into
the forever home. And we'll also do follow ups later on,
but we take care of the severest cases in Kentuckyana.
We try to take the ones that would automatically be
euthanized because there's no one there to help them with

(01:33):
the bills and stuff. And if the animal has a
has a fight in his eyes, just like Penny did,
we'll go through anything we can to be able to
make sure they get all the way through those processes
to forever home.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
She's l like a miracle. She is you feel that
every time you look at her.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Right, Yes, I mean we're the lucky ones to have
her and be in Fenny's world, and she is traveling
the country and making the world a better place by
sharing her story and bringing awareness to what sometimes is
happening to animals and how they can overcome.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
One of my co workers actually sent me pictures of
her out there just a few minutes ago. Just enjoyed
a few moments with Penny the superstar. Yes, it's fantastic.
Zach Kibbs is also here and he represents Noble Funk
Brewing Copany. Are you the GM That is the best
job ever? Is it a GM a of a brewing company?

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Oh, it's a lot of fun for sure.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Everybody gets a drink at work if they want. I
mean that's how goes like.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Oh, not all the ime, not all the time. You
gotta do work sometimes.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
So you're the host for the party, I guess the
host space for the party.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Correct, Yeah, we'll be hosting the Derby pa te.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
The paw te excuse me, the furry Derby paw te
and Lindsay the roses in the party invitation are fantastic.
It says dress to impress in your finest Derby attire.
Hats strongly encouraged. That is a fascinator on Penny.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Yes, yeah, fascinator just custom made for her to match
her dress. And I mean, you know, Derby, that's all
about the fashion and the hat.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
So she had to do the.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Same, and Zach, this is going to be the great place,
a great place for this. You're on Second Street in
near Breck.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Yes, record in between Brecker into Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
What kind of flavors you pumping out there? I saw
you brought a few samples in.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
I brought a few samples here.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
So I brought you our Core three plus one more
so we have our gold Noldy Blondale.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
We got our mister American.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
West Coast IPA, the five h two brew wheat beer nice,
and then the other one is our More cider, which
at this point is a plumb flavor.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
That's what it says, plum four point five percent.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Yeah, it's just super refreshing, especially you know, we're hoping
for pretty good weather, which is what it looks like
right now, and it's just real light, easy drinking a
lot of flavor to it.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Still, and my co.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Workers don't come in and steal all four of those.
I'll be able to taste one.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Of those a little bit. Hopefully.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
That's how that works. Food's good at your place, I've
heard too. Tom's already given me a full report.

Speaker 5 (03:59):
Oh, Tom and Raven. Since I walked in the building,
but yeah, we did. We have a full brick oven.
We make everything in house. Like so his favorite pizza,
the Poio Diablo, is a mango hoabiniro chicken sausage that's
all one thing with holapenos, a spicy aoli, and a
spicy chili oil. And we grind our sausage in house.

(04:20):
We make the aoli in house. There's not anything we get,
you know, brought to us in a container that we
just you know, put on something. It's all scratch made
brick oven. You know, I think I looked at it
earlier today. The oven was at five seventy five. So,
like you know that we get good timp on that pizza,
and you know, we got all kinds of things out
there for anybody to try.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Are you the pizza chef or you the brew master?
Do you have any other title other than general manager.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
I wear a lot of hats. One of those, sadly,
is not the brew master. But I walk around everything else.
But you know, I help out in the bar, help
out in the kitchen, you know, if they need help
in the brewery. Basically, I'm really good at, you know,
holding a hose while they're doing something than you know,
real technical.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
So what can people expect Tom when it come to
your paw te on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Well, if you've never been to Noble Funk, it's absolutely beautiful.
You have no idea. When you walk in the front
door that is actually a brewery and a restaurant, it
looks like you're in an elegant hotel. It's got all
these plants and seating and stuff. So it's one of
the prettiest. Well, it is the prettiest brewery I've ever
seen in Louisville, and it's amazing. But we're going to
have going to have the beer, the food there. We'll

(05:26):
have our booth set up with all of our locally
made human grade quality treats like we gave you this morning,
and they're all good. You can eat them yourself, you can,
you know, one for your dog, one for you.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
There are treats for humans and your pack.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Oh yeah, all natural.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Johnny Fever has been traumatized to you guys haircut, so
he'll be when I get home today, he'll be giving
me that look like, what do you think do look stupid?
You can tell me.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
And our treats are all locally made by a lady
who makes them just for us anymore. Yeah, So human
quality Kentucky proud, great and healthy for your animals.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Fantastic. So this would be a great party. Who's invited
or is it dogs too?

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Dogs?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Anybody? Everybody?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
You know?

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Kids are allowed, bring your pups on a leash. Yeah,
puffs are not allowed in the building. But there's plenty
of room outside and this great little astro turf area
that has got all the little bunny statues and stuff
all in.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
There our buddies. Yeah, it's really cool place to go.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
So come there and look at there, and everyone will
be up there and chairs at tables, eating, drinking, having fun.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
This is what we need more Derby paw tees. It's
this Saturday, two till six pm at Noble Penny. Did
I say something wrong?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
She's just really excited for the pote that's.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Good at Noble Funk Brewing Company. That's nine to twenty
two South Second Street. Lindsay, the world tour continues, you
keep winning over hearts, but this Aerowfund is so important,
so critically important.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
She wouldn't be here today without them, not at all.
And we're so grateful that we want to give back
and continue to share her story and promote events like
this because unfortunately there needs to be an Arrow fund.
There are more animals out there that are like her.
We'll have the same experience, which is extremely sad with
the state of things in our state.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Tom. How do people get tickets for the paw te?

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Oh, it's free.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Gets drive on up and with it being the old
Kroger downtown, there's tons of free parking, so you don't
have to worry about finding the garage. You're finding street parking.
Just come on into the parking lot and there's plenty
of spots.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I should have said that in the beginning it's the
old Kroger Store. Yeah, break everybody else, That makes perfect sense.
All right, Well, Zach, thanks for being the party host
with the Morse and I'll have to try one of
those pizzas you were describing there for most a few
moments got very good. Penny, my love, so sweet, so beautiful,
and I'm so glad that you keep telling her story.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Lindsey, thank you for having us.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Don't miss the Furry Derby paw Te this Saturday, two
till six pm. It's a Noble Funk Brewing Company, the
Old Groger Store of breakage nine to twenty two South
Second Street. Great, see all of you here, happy derby time. Thanks,
keep up the good work with the Arrow Funds. It's important.
