Time?
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Okay, it's not gonna just u we're just in college
chores for column, but none of your business. John, How
are you this morning?
Speaker 4 (02:14):
I'm feeling pretty good man, excited for the weekend, prepping
for my stagecoach trip next week.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
You're gonna do stage coach. That's crazy, good man.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
So now this is this is the time.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
We get the list together, we find out what we need,
all the easy ups, the camping chairs, all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, do you are you cooking out there or something?
Speaker 5 (02:30):
See now that we have cooking? Yeah, gorgeous, we are cooking.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
That is gorgeous.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Exit Lord, have like like a grill or anything. Are
you loud that or not?
Speaker 10 (02:42):
So you are?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
You are allowed to grill? And then also we have
like the stove top inside the arm.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Sure, I'm just recommending cauld I recommend a nice treat.
He yeah, Bratt's brother. You cook bros and a grill
and you get like John supposed something like that. It
is hard to overcook a broad. Oh yeah, hard to
wreck a broad. They hold so much juke.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
That's our main meal. Brought some dogs, brought and dogs
all day long because it's the easiest thing to cook.
Even when we didn't have an RV. We'd find someone
in the campsite with a little grill and we just
offered them a couple of dogs and they'll cook them.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
All love for us, brilliant. I love it, man, I love.
Speaker 10 (03:13):
It four three my FM.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Lover one O four to three my FM. It is
Valentine in the morning. It is Friday, minute to Friday.
I think, yeah, think, yeah, thank you Jesus, thank you
whatever higher power you believe in, or even if you
don't believe in higher power. Remember I mentioned Stephen Hawking
on the show. Yes, you know, he didn't believe. He
passed a number of years back now. He did not
believe in a higher power per se or religion. He
(03:42):
thought religion was something we all came into just to
avoid being afraid of dying, or something like that. He
believed that we were much like computers. You're just off
and he goes. Religion is something you use to keep
yourself being afraid of dying.
Speaker 7 (03:57):
Why would you tell me this.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
Well, I feel like they can both co exist, right.
I feel like a lot of the really smart people
who get to that place in life, they kind of
like blend religion and sign.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
He didn't know what I'm telling you. He didn't believe
in it. He believed that, like you're just like a
computer and you just turn off.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Yeah, but they can also co exist, it, I think,
is what a lot of them say.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
How do you exist? You either believe in religion or
you dun't because.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
For your computer and you turn us off. But then
who made that computer? Like there still could be something
something traditionally believe in. It's not the religion that you
traditionally believe.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
The computer turns off, what happens?
Speaker 4 (04:29):
N Well, that's what we're doing in the computer's Like
imagine we create a simulation right now, and then we
go into another life form in that simulation, and then
when that turns off, what happens?
Speaker 5 (04:39):
You know? You don't know because you're not on the outside.
It's so interesting.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Are you high?
Speaker 1 (04:44):
I feel high now?
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I think we should do something. Probably hand me that,
will you.
Speaker 11 (04:50):
Go on?
Speaker 1 (04:51):
I didn't know for twenty coming up? Baby?
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Oh yeah, no, no, I am not a dope smoker.
So I am not doing the Ganja, doing the Devil's lettuce.
I'm not doing the Harry carry Well.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
We'll see, we'll see.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
I'm not gonna do with Martha's vineyard, that's for sure.
Speaker 7 (05:15):
Easter Sunday is four to twenty, that is.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Who's up now? Luke, who's risen?
Speaker 5 (05:26):
All that chocolate's gonna come in handy?
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Bro, Oh my gosh, you don't do it anymore? That
you don't smoke anymore? No, dude, let me really now,
hold on? Not really? Yeah is not no?
Speaker 3 (05:37):
No.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Does your wife do that stuff?
Speaker 1 (05:40):
She's only done it a couple of times?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Really, So how would you do it then? Like at
a concert or something around.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Yeah, if I go on to a show, maybe I
might take a little.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yeah, bro, who passes that to you?
Speaker 1 (05:51):
My best friend Dave usually, Oh.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
God, that guy Dave. So Dave brings the drugs legal.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
It's the world adults doing a legal thing.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
It's no. The problem is when I go to concert,
you legally do your things and you blow to my face.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Now technically, I think, and then I get high.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
You're only allowed to do it like in your house,
like you're not supposed to be doing it a content.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Right now, they've never enforced.
Speaker 12 (06:22):
Security guard.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
No.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
I said, listen, I'm trying to enjoy Travis Scott and
this gentleman over there three rows back is smoking the
hart me get a hitter.
Speaker 10 (06:35):
You're an art I'm not an arc.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I had my badge with me, so it was legal.
You imagine I go up the security guard and that
guy over there is smoking something.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Man, I think I smell some marijuana.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Do you smell that? Can you make an announcement? Please?
It would have been fun to like videotape that actually
go through with the mic myself, like I needed to
make an announcement in some sorts they're smoking marijuana that
is illegal. Is there a security guard? I can tell?
Is there an officer here? I've checked the statutes. You're loud. Yes,
I understand you're allowed doing California your own home, but
they're smoking within fifty feet of a door, you know,
(07:08):
fifty feet of a door. You should do the edibles though,
because you have that mass.
Speaker 7 (07:13):
Yeah, I've never smoked. I've never eaten anything. The closest
I've done as CBD with no THHC.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
I did that too.
Speaker 7 (07:20):
Yeah, and I cried the first time I used.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
God, I know this is light. I got like I
got high in marshmallow root one time, and in throat coat.
I had too many cups of throat coat. When I
had a store throat one time, it seys like a
tea you can drink and it has marshmall root. I
swore to everybody and their mother that the marshmallow root
had made me high. That's all.
Speaker 7 (07:43):
We can't give your throat coat anymore.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Throat coat, I cut back. God, you guys are so lame.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Yeah, John, when's the last time that you were in
that position for throat coat?
Speaker 5 (07:52):
No, not throat coat, I'd say, back in college.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
Back in college. Yeah, was it big in the frat house?
It was big in college period? Oh was it really?
Speaker 5 (07:59):
Probably? Like so many people did it.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Do you think it's still big?
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (08:04):
So I had to watch that with my son.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
People typically, like, I mean not everybody, but like, if
you get involved in the scene where you're going out
and doing stuff, I feel like you'll typically drink or smoke,
like one of those is your thing, enjoy beers. I
never really liked smoking, it was it never really was
good for me, right, So I don't know. I never
really did that, but I tried it.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Of course, Okay, of course, of course, yeah, what was he?
Of course?
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Well, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
My mom was there the first time I tried it,
Like she wanted to make sure I was okay.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
I was at that.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Mom sound like she was very like open to like
different than perhaps my parents.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Yeah, my mom was like very into like as long
as we have a conversation about it, and you tell
me what you're doing and I make sure that it's safe,
I'd rather you try it at home than try it
anywhere else, gotcha?
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Okay, Well, who knows what the world brings any of us.
My son is seventeen, one more year in high school,
off to college. Who knows. But I have the credit card,
so I'll know.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
It's that expensive cash.
Speaker 13 (08:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Well, when you hit taco bell at two in the morning,
you have a one hundred dollars charge.
Speaker 11 (09:04):
I'll no is Valentine in the morning on four three
my sm nineties to now.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
One of four three, maya fam it is valance out
of the morning. Hi, good morning, Armeny.
Speaker 10 (09:19):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
How are you armin A very good?
Speaker 14 (09:22):
How are you guys very good?
Speaker 2 (09:23):
What can we do for you today. What prompts you
to be on the rear end of this phone line.
Speaker 15 (09:32):
Well, I'm a law of attraction coach. And I got
married really young when I was twenty and then by
the time I was twenty seven, I realized I was
depressed and unhappy, and I learned about the law of
attraction somehow, and I ended up manifesting my fullmate relationship.
And we've been together fourteen years and okay, we have
a kid, and yeah, and like I do that now.
(09:54):
I teach people how their their mindset and the way
they think and the way they feel it determines what
happening next in their life.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Oh god, I'm a mess that. I'm such a Debbie downer.
Sometimes I honestly probably have like body dys morphia, and
I just I'm a mess. Can you help us? Can
you help people listening right now? Can you teach us something?
Speaker 16 (10:13):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (10:13):
Yeah, absolutely?
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Go ahead.
Speaker 15 (10:15):
Stop thinking about what you don't want anymore and start
thinking about what you do want it. So, okay, you
have all these things you don't want, right, So what's
the opposite of that? What makes you feel like this
is what I would prefer? And that's the trick because
we're so used to thinking about what we don't want.
The hardest part is actually figuring out, Wait, what do
(10:36):
I want? Because we don't let ourselves actually think about that.
Open yourself up. Okay, wait, what feels a little better.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
We're all going to say what we want on the
count of three. And this way, if it's anybody is
saying something embarrassing, it'll be covered in the multiple voices
and maybe you'll hear something, maybe you won't hear it.
We're gonna try this in kout of three what we
all want? So one, two three say, here we go.
We're gonna do this for you and you help out army.
Here we go, one two three, baby.
Speaker 14 (11:04):
Oh.
Speaker 15 (11:06):
The clearest one was I want to have a baby.
Speaker 7 (11:08):
That was me, Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I heard Brian say want more hair?
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Yeah, and we're not allowed to laugh.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
I wasn't laughing.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
And I heard what you said, dude, Bell, you heard
my you want your wife and a cheer litter outfit.
Speaker 7 (11:19):
I thought we would want to be serious about this, John,
I said, health, good health, health, It.
Speaker 15 (11:28):
Is all valid. It doesn't matter if it's feel serious
or feel joking.
Speaker 14 (11:32):
It's real, right.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
I would like some good health too. You know, I'm
going to throw that out there. I want better health,
better health.
Speaker 7 (11:37):
You're so right, Armonade, because when I was single, I
was very focused on why am I not with anybody?
What is wrong with me? And I was focused on
the negative part. Then I started waking up every morning
by saying the love I deserve will find me. And
that's how I started every day and my husband Jeff
walked into my life.
Speaker 15 (11:57):
Yes, yes, it's not it's not complicated, but when you're
used to not thinking that way, it just takes a
little bit of persistence and perseverance and just remind yourself,
you know, rund yourself of who you are now and
what you want things to show up as.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
Now, okay, what about the people that are on the
other side of those affirmations and de affirmations and people
who had to hear every morning why does nobody love me?
What's wrong with me? And then a week later, I
need somebody, I want somebody, I deserve somebody. What about
those people that would be there for those people every
day and ask.
Speaker 7 (12:28):
And here are you talking about me?
Speaker 2 (12:30):
No? Oh, other people?
Speaker 15 (12:34):
You mean people who have to suffer through people who
are suffering.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
That's a statement that you're making bad.
Speaker 15 (12:41):
Vibe sprinklers, bad vibe sprinklering like that.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
I just made that up right now, look at you?
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Well, are made cool. I like this. We'll try and
do this law of attraction thing. We'll try some saying
some stuff in the studio before we start the show
and let you know if it's working.
Speaker 12 (12:59):
Okay, okay, absolutely, You're awesome.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
I like you. Congrats and everything.
Speaker 6 (13:03):
Thank you.
Speaker 15 (13:03):
I like you, guys, Thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Thanks, Harbay, take care, byebye me too, bye bye.
Speaker 10 (13:08):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four
to three, one oh four to three my FM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 7 (13:15):
I am so excited about this. Alicia Silverstone will be
back as share Horowitz in a Clueless sequel series on Peacock.
She's also going to help write and executive produce the show,
and the original writer and director of Clueless, which came
out in nineteen ninety five, is going to be back
as an executive producer as well. And that's all we
(13:36):
know so far. And Piper Parabo, she starred in one
of my favorite movies of all time, Coyote Ugly. She's
also in Yellowstone. She's going to be joining Grey's Anatomy
for three episodes this season, starting with the May first episode.
According to Variety, Piper Parabot will play a mom of
a nine year old patient who is at the hospital
(13:57):
for a high risk brain surgery. I'm Jill with their
entertainment headlines on Valentine in the Morning, one of four.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Three my fam it is Valence out of in the Morning.
Speaker 7 (14:10):
Starbucks just dropped their summer menu for this year, and
these sound and look pretty good. There's the iced or
Chatta oatmell shaken Espresso. There is the Summer Berry Refreshers
with blueberry and BlackBerry with raspberry pearls, and then also
a strawberries and cream cake pop. Okay, that's theah.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
They's been big on the cake pops, but the Summer
Chatta sounds.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
That sounds really good, right, Oh man, that's something new.
Speaker 7 (14:40):
My nieces are really into the cake pops, are they really?
I love the egg bites. This is not an endorsement.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
I don't like those things. You don't I just did
not necessarily Starbucks. I don't think it like the egg
bites in general. This don't do for me because I
thin get tried them. They were like is everyone raves
about them?
Speaker 8 (14:52):
Right?
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah, everyone loves them. And I tried them like the
my kid love cake pops for a long time, hasing
out one in a while. I think that's an age
specific thing, you know. I like a good cheese Danish,
like a blueberry muff in.
Speaker 7 (15:03):
I almost stopped today on my way in because.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
This really Yeah Starbucks before five?
Speaker 3 (15:11):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (15:12):
Really?
Speaker 9 (15:13):
Yo?
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Mind? Didn't opened that early? I have to get it
if I come here, I grab it the one down
the street, you know. And that's why it's like five ten.
I'm running in with the coffee my hands. Excuse me.
Speaker 7 (15:23):
I was going to be late, so I almost stopped,
and I thought, well, maybe if I get something for everyone,
then it won't be It'll be okay and I'm late,
and then I was like, oh, I forget it.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
I'm just going that's the Big Rick trick, the Big
Rick trick, The Big Rick trick. Do you remember Big Rick?
Speaker 7 (15:37):
I remember Big Rick?
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Big Rick? A guy John years ago worked on our
show is no different? Got it? Yep? He worked on
her show down the Hall, and uh he had just
gotten hired. I just hired the guy. Give me a
job as a producer in the background and stuff, and
he was starting on Monday. We'll say, right, Monday comes,
the guy's not here. He's late, first day, first day
(15:59):
of the job, an hour late, two hours late, hours late,
three hours late. And we're calling him, a text him
and then I'm like, you know whatever, doesn't matter because
he's gonna be fired, you know whatever. And then we
get a text. He gous, I'm on the way back
from Vegas. I'm almost there. The guy went to Vegas
that weekend and whatever partied something or other was late.
But then he came in with Starbucks, a bunch of
(16:21):
Starbucks for everybody because he's late anyway. Right, so I'm
three and a half hours late to my new job.
So we didn't fire him.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
Of course, that's the great thing about you. You're a
sweetheart deep down. Otherwise you would have fired me too.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Oh my god, so long ago. I'm such a pushover.
I don't like change one of four to three, my
fam it is Valentine in the morning's going on, Christine.
Speaker 17 (16:49):
So I was hoping that somebody and I Heart Radio
could email me and say that I won Kendrick Almar tickets,
because I did buy kendricks Amar tickets, but I don't
want anybody to know that I bought them to death.
That sounds kind of weird, but then everyone's gonna be
like how much were they? Where are you at? Like
it's just easier if I'm like, I just want tickets,
and like everyone just shut up about it.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Oh that's weird, fantastic, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Jack, Wait, do we get credit then for like giving
you Kendrick Lamar tickets?
Speaker 18 (17:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (17:18):
Yeah, that would be great. Yeah, obviously I know I
didn't win them, but there'd be alleviate like so many
questions and all.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Right, listen, here's the deal. I'm gonna make a deal
with you. Okay, officially, these are your tickets. You purchased them,
so we have nothing to do with this legally, that's correct, right, Yes,
you know how our podcast works. We do the show,
then afterwards they take the show and they like they
chop it up without commercials and music, and then that
goes out and people listening to the show. So right now,
I'm going to have you win Kendrick Lamar tickets. Okay,
(17:47):
that don't air in the podcast later and then you
just play them that part, not this part. Just hit
pause before your.
Speaker 10 (17:53):
Part Okay, okay, that would be great.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
So here we go. You gotta be called twenty. And
when's the show of I.
Speaker 17 (17:59):
Think it's like May something on a Wednesday.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Okay, here we go. You ready and you got to
go off on this thing? Here we go, Here we go,
Good morning, Maya fam. Who's this?
Speaker 17 (18:08):
This is Christine?
Speaker 2 (18:09):
Christine? Where are you calling from?
Speaker 12 (18:11):
I'm calling from Christine.
Speaker 2 (18:13):

Speaker 2 (18:30):

Speaker 17 (18:33):

Speaker 2 (18:35):

And this thing with him?
Speaker 17 (18:39):

Speaker 7 (18:40):
Squabble up, Condy.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
How much dog life goes on?
Speaker 6 (18:44):

Speaker 5 (18:44):
My babies count he loves all of them.
Speaker 17 (18:47):

a blast. You gonna lose his mind. You guys have
no ideas.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Well, congrats because we are we're still type Kendrick. We're
giving out tickets like every hour, and some tickets are
front row, some tickets are back row. You had some
backstage passes thrown in. You just never know what you're
gonna get. But my gosh, we are like locked and loaded.
We're the Kendrick Station totally.
Speaker 17 (19:07):
Oh my god, thank you guys so much.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Did you hear him when he came in studio last
week and did that sit down for thirty minutes?
Speaker 10 (19:14):
I did not.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Oh my god, it was so great, sat down and
talk to us off and off for about thirty minutes.
This is crazy, some big stuff.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Yeah, he apologized to Drake, which was like breaking news.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
It was on our show that that was crazy.
Speaker 17 (19:30):
Never that would never happen, you guys.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
Christine, that happened. Okay, you've got your tickets. Let's not
get sassy here. Oh my god, all right, call her
twenty Christine, get sassy here. You go.
Speaker 15 (19:43):
You guys, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (19:45):
You're welcome and scene there go. All right, just play
that part for them and that'll sound good.
Speaker 17 (19:51):
Okay, Oh my god, thanks so much, you guys.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
You're welcome here. What's what the bogus calling us? Sound
of the fake Kendrick interview? Why didn't you just go
with it?
Speaker 17 (20:01):
Oh my god, because that would never happen.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
With it, it was too unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Well, us doing a full day of Kendrick lamar pass,
this would never happen.
Speaker 14 (20:12):
Either, right, true, that's true.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
All right, Well it'sen. Have a great show, and thanks
for calling me.
Speaker 12 (20:19):
All right, you guys, that's like a whole.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
New way to pretend we're doing big giveaways. John Peak
will hear this and lose his mind and think it's brilliant.
So if anybody buys some concert tickets said they spent
too much money on and they don't want their family
or somebody to know about it, or they don't want
to appear like they're wasting money on something, you call us,
we'll give you the prize you purchased.
Speaker 7 (20:41):
I love this, brilliant, brilliant.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Hey, mal I just got a new Porsche.
Speaker 7 (20:46):
You want a Porsche?
Speaker 10 (20:49):
Test Valentine in the morning at three, one four, three, all.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
Right, weather today, let's see here. Weather today, cool, cloudy,
slight chance rainteamps's and sixties, sunny, slightly warmer, heighs could
reach the eighties by Sunday, but it looks like bonnet
clear weather on Sunday. Bonnet clear ladies, get your bonnets
wearing Beard in the clear. Fifty six rows made fifty
four Long Beach sheeals got the entertainment headlines. Coming up,
we're learning.
Speaker 7 (21:14):
More about the third season of Euphoria and who was
on set this week. I'll tell you who he was
at six fifty Brian.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Do we have any more of those Kendrick tickets? Or
is that it for right now?
Speaker 1 (21:25):
We will have more we don't have.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
This is the most brilliant news scam I've ever come
up with a radio. I feel great. If you buy
something that you don't want your spouse or friends to
know about, that you spend a lot of money on,
and maybe you're ashamed to spend so much money on something,
call us. We'll pretend to give it to you on
the air. Then you play them the podcast. We'll just
send you the snippet and when you win it, you
(21:49):
know it's good. You've won a brand new car Amazon packages.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
Why you don't know's that crazy just showed up the
front door becase I just won them.
Speaker 12 (21:59):
It's a great.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
I love it all right, Let's do first sip then
on Animes Friday. John's got some new music out there
as well. Being present in the moment with the people
that you love, that you care about. With the tragedy
at FSU yesterday, I was thinking about this, and you
worry about your kids all the time, right, especially school shootings.
When something like that happens, you think, oh my god,
(22:22):
I'm not there. I can't be next to them all
the time. How do I protect them? How do I
help them? And in today's socidy with stuff like that.
We teach our kids certain things and it's tough to
send your child out into a world where you don't
know sometimes if they're going to be safe. And for
those parents, know students, what a horrible day that was yesterday,
(22:43):
and for many of them, that horrificness is not going
to go away anytime soon. So I thought about being
present in the moment with your friends, your family, your
loved ones, and being the present means being there in
the moment with them when you listen to them, when
you talk to them, when you have a conversation with them.
(23:03):
Being the present, don't be distracted by the outside events
of the world. Be in the present, in the moment
the people that you care about. Maybe in your car ride,
your carpooling. What's up, carpoolers, reach out let us know.
Maybe you're a carpool in the work with somebody. Be
present in the moment with them. Maybe you're enjoying your show.
But do feel free to have conversation with your friends.
Be in their lives. Hear what people say. Don't just
(23:24):
be thinking about what you want to say next. Don't
just be thinking about yourself and how you fit into
a conversation. Be present in the moment for them. Dinner time,
we put on The Great British Bacon Show all the time.
Love it. It's our thing in my family. Right we watch
them make cakes and go, oh my god, look at
that cake.
Speaker 8 (23:44):
Now.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Should be watching TV while we're eating dinner and probably not,
But we all are present in the moment, discussing the show,
having good time, talking about it, having good laugh about
what Baker does, what everything so present can come to
you in different forms, But be present in the moment
the people that you care about, because it can be
very fleeting. Obviously, count us up.
Speaker 7 (24:05):
Jill one two three.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Hot Coffee Baby, That guy's good. He's a barista. John
makes a coffee around here and he uses the La
City water which makes it even browner the coffee. So
we're very setty. Coming up next, we've got a new
music Friday. He'll break down all the new songs that
came out after Kelly Clarkson break Waits one of four.
Three FF. Are you into theater? Are you a theater geek?
(24:43):
Theater nerd? We are, Jill and I massively are. We'll
be hosting the Jerry Herman Awards. We're excited about that.
Speaker 7 (24:51):
I can't wait. It's basically just honoring and recognizing the
best in local theater.
Speaker 13 (24:56):
Here.
Speaker 7 (24:56):
It's Howe of California with high school students.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
So if you're a theater kid, you love this. For
the theater history, this is really really cool. We'll tell
you more about as gets closer and stuff like that.
And I had to dive into my yearbook and find
some old black and white photos. Where were they black
and white? Oh no, no, because now I just I
gave him ammunition. He's got all the.
Speaker 5 (25:17):
Filter.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Yeah, it's a filter back then, right, So I got
these old photos just like what's that from? And I
goes from Mame. I was em Lindsay Wolsey and Mame
in high school this play, and I just had this moment.
I have to tell you, if you're a theater person,
you'll appreciate this. Before we do John's New Music Friday,
I remember very specifically, at sant Burn's High School in Uxtville, Connecticut.
We're puting on this production of Mame and the character
of m Lindsay Wolsey. Mame's this rich, aristocratic lady and
(25:39):
I'm like one of her rich friends or something, I
guess as far as I remember. And I'm sitting on
a couch and I'm just kind of zoning out. It's
a cocktail party. I'm holding a fake cocktail, sitting on
the couch in the center of the stage, and I'm
just sitting there, zoning out. And then I hear it's
your line. It's your line. Apparently it's been a good
sixty seconds, said anybody said anything. I've been told I
(26:01):
really zoned out with sixty seconds no one said anything,
and your kids, you don't know what to do, right,
And people are trying to tell me it's my line,
and my line at that point is very simple. So
once They nudged me from behind and said, it's your line.
It's your line. I yell, may piece of property up
in Mountain Bank, and it should have just been Mame's
(26:21):
bought up? Is a property up a mountain bank, you know?
And the crowd cheered, what idiot. My mom and dad
are like sneaking out the back door, like, oh my god,
he'll never make it in Hollywood.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
And yet look at you now, John Friday, all right,
a couple of new songs for you today. Let's do
this one first. It's a new track from One Republic.
It's kind of a fun, upbeat one. This is called Invincible.
Speaker 9 (26:52):
Bound Mound.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Where Lose Come Trong.
Speaker 10 (27:05):
Invincible yet fun?
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Right.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
I feel like Ryan Tedder and One Republic they've really
just love these side projects and these side missions to
do different things and expand their music. They were in
the Top Gun movie, obviously. They a few weeks back
they had a Punjabi infuse track. Now, this one they
actually made for a Japanese anime which they've done a
couple of times. It's called Kaiju number eight and this
song is for a special episode. So that that was
kind of an interesting twist to bring in that Japanese anime.
(27:38):
That's it's so big in the anime world.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Got I think I've watched that. I know Kaiju sounds
very familiar to me. Yeah, I think I know what
they are. I don't know, all right.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
Yeah, my sister's big into that world.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
An she's anime, Okay, since high school, she's seen like
everything you can possibly think.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
Right, Yeah, it's been her thing, not something I've really
gotten into myself. I heard this song, I loved it.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
I thought it was so fun, kind of felt like summer.
So this is Invincible from One Republica.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
Did you ever see him to do some impression justin Timberlake,
Bryan Titter? Oh no, Oh, it's so good, is it?
It's so I'll find some stuff. It's a great impression Timberlake. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
So next up here, we got a new one from
Lonna del Ray. Another one from Lonna del Ray. Now
she's changing a bunch of details about her album, so
we'll get to that in a minute here, but let
me play you a little bit of her newest song.
Speaker 9 (28:24):
This is called Bluebird, fly Away for your half Ways
and love known to Fly, find a Way to Fly,
(28:51):
slowing it.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Down very.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
And Lona, I feel like it's just like me when
it comes to indecisiveness. So this album was supposed to
be called Lastso originally, then she changed it to the
Right Person Will Stay.
Speaker 5 (29:05):
She's changed the name of it again.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
We don't know what she's gonna call this album right now,
which would be crazy because she said it's coming out
April twenty first, or May twenty first rather, but now
she's changed the date too.
Speaker 12 (29:16):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
She just posted on her socials last week and she said,
you know the album's not gonna come on time?
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Right?
Speaker 5 (29:21):
Should I even tell you we changed the name again?
Speaker 4 (29:24):
Should I tell you that now while you're happy that
you have a song, or maybe I'll wait a little bit.
So we don't know when the album's coming. We don't
know specifically what it's going to be called yet.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
She has yet to tell us.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Maybe last Sue, maybe Last Suit instead of Last.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
But she is on that Stage Coach line up next week,
and she wanted to drop a few songs before then
because she does have a country set going on.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
At Stage Coach.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
So now she's got two songs out ry come on
in this one right here? Blackbird from Lona del Rey.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Blackbird or Bluebird. I'm sorry, bluebird, gotcha, that's a bird.
But I can't let that slast remember the National Autimi.
I know that's sorry. As a member the Autumn Society
cannot let you slip with color of the Bird.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
So the last one here is a new release from
James Bay and Cheryl Crowe.
Speaker 5 (30:05):
I think they sound incredible on this one.
Speaker 4 (30:07):
It's a new track called You and Me Time.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
God, can you like see people like at the club ever?
Like bopping or something like that? The whole place is
jumping right now.
Speaker 5 (30:34):
I know this one live one hundred.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
I feel like it's a good beer commercial waiting to happen.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
James he just dropped a couple of brand new tracks
for his deluxe version of his last album. And I'm
such a James Bay fan. Like I loved his last album.
I feel like he's got an incredible voice and he's
just never lost any songwriting talent. He just stays at
the top for me. And he's gonna be here in
La in a couple of weeks, and so is Cheryl Crowe.
But they're not gonna be together because they're both playing
concerts on this same night here in La.
Speaker 5 (31:01):
He's touring.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
He's on his tour right now, and she's playing a
benefit concert with Andy Grammer, so it's gonna be opposite
sides of town, but kind of interesting.
Speaker 5 (31:09):
They're both playing on the same night here in La
in a few weeks.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
What's the benefits fire Right or something it's for.
Speaker 4 (31:13):
It's the same organization that I jumped off the building
for Jump Off, Well Jump No, those are Joseph.
Speaker 5 (31:22):
Small Jump and I was tied to the top. So
this is you and me time from James Bay and
Sheryl Crow. There's a full playlist of new music. You
can check it out.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
It's on the free I heard ready to app Just
search my new music and it'll pop.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
Ride up, John Kamuchi, that's your new music. Friday one
O four.
Speaker 12 (31:42):
To three my FM.
Speaker 10 (31:44):
Here's what's coming up in entertainment.
Speaker 7 (31:46):
Headlines after Glenn Powell is now a washed up country
music star. I'll explain right after Traffic one O four
to three my FM.
Speaker 10 (31:56):
Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 7 (31:58):
We're learning more about you season three and Jacob Elordi
has confirmed he's on set this week. He said he
shot his first few days of the third season. He
plays Nate Jacobs on Euphoria, and he said it was incredible.
You have to understand we've grown up on that show.
We grew up from late teens into adults. It's been beautiful.
It was really touching to go back and step into
(32:18):
that environment. It feels like stepping into a time capsule
and nothing has changed. It has been years since Euphoria
has been on Max and the season, the third season
will be coming out very very soon. And Jet Apatow,
he's the man behind movies like super Bad, Knocked Up
in Forty Year Old Virgin. Then we have Glenn Powell
who is in Twisters and Anyone But You and top
(32:41):
Gun Maverick. The two of them are working together and
Glenn Powell is going to play a country Western star
that has fallen from stardom. Glenn Powell's going to star
in it. Jet Apatow is going to write and direct it.
They're working on the script together. So the two of
them working on this new film. I'm Jill with Aaron
(33:01):
Tivid Headbines.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
We have got the Battle of Sex's coming up because
just want to reach out. Go ahead eight six six
five four four of MYFM eight six six five four
four six nine three six uh play for the Battle
of Sexes happ newings after seven o'clock as well. I
was listening to a podcast the other day that iHeart
has here, and they were talking to chaperone and she says,
I feel bad for anybody that sings along to my song.
She goes, I can't hit those notes myself. She's just
(33:22):
so hard to do. Some of these notes are like
so hard to hit. It's very funny, like, but those
are your Yeah, she's admitting, yeah, they're hard to hit.
Some as I mess them up, studio helps out chaperone.
Good luck baby. It is one of four to three
myfms is Valenten in the morning.
Speaker 10 (33:39):
It's cool.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
Or forgot one a four to three my fam it's
Valentin in the morning. Lady Gaga back tonight Coachella down
stage tonight. Enjoyed that show. It was great. We saw
it last weekend. Kind of jealous in certain respects. It's
gonna be cooler at Coachell, not as hots. Do I
get in the car, dude, do I just grab calm
(34:08):
and go, let's just figure out that's going to get there.
Speaker 20 (34:11):
I want to hold them like they do, and things.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Wonder for we breathe, my fam, it is Valentine in
the morning. I sent Jill over the edge yesterday and
I was telling my wife about this last night. She
had a giggle about it too. Oh my family is
such giggles about you guys, such giggles. It was so funny.
I tried telling her, I go. Jill was convinced. I
met Taylor Swift at the Polstar Awards the other night
because I'd met so many famous people backstage and people
(34:39):
coming on stage except awards at the Sward shows hosting,
and so I was telling Lelani god j I was like,
oh my god, I was I hate your bye. I'm
gonna kill you bye because you were so mad, right jealousy, right, yes.
But then I was talking to Brian. He got so
mad at me yesterday because this was real, this did happen.
I had a chance to present an award to Eddie
(35:00):
Better because Eddy Vetter does the Johanna Festival, which is
a big deal that's his. And so Eddie Vedder comes
up the stage Johanna Festival wins. I'm shaking his hand,
hanging out with him and stuff like that, and Brian's like,
oh my.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
God, this is my tae with Swift and that is
my And this is what kind of made me a
little crazy is that you texted me later in the day.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
It's like, oh yeah, I forgot to mention I met
I was hanging with any better. It's like that one
to me would be on top five light.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
That's like Taylor Swift, I think. And you were just
gonna like, oh.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
Yeah, I guess like like, oh yeah, forgot.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Forgot to tell you about that. And I was actually
sitting in the Pavilions park a lot about to go
and buy some Turkey Bergers when I texted him.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
The front man of one of the greatest bands in
the last forty years, like just an absolute legend, a king.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
We're talking surf and stuff backstage. Oh that's so cool.
He's still way into that. Yeah, him and I gonna
go shred together. Oh please, Yeah, I'll bring it. Give
me great cheese, baby, Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.
It's gonna be awesome. All right, happy news. If you
got to reach out three one oh four to three.
(36:06):
It is a battle of the sex is reps in
the man. His name is William. He lives ranch Kukamaga,
works as a bartender and enjoys skateboarding with his son.
What's up, William?
Speaker 7 (36:20):
Representing the ladies. Her name is Laura, She's from Pacoima.
He works as an office manager and enjoys relaxing at
the beach. Let's hear it for Laura.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
What's going on?
Speaker 9 (36:30):
Laura?
Speaker 20 (36:31):
Good morning, good morning.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Good morning. Here's how works, Laura. I'm gonna ask a
few questions, William. Jill's gonna be asking you the questions.
Best of the three wins still Tide the end of regulation,
we go to a not sit tough tiebreaker question to
start with the ladies, what toys? Seeing the movie Toy
Story was the first toy to be advertised on TV.
I didn't know this. No, mister Potato ahead, mister Potato,
(36:57):
the first toy of the advertising TV.
Speaker 7 (36:59):
Wow, William, what is Buzz Lightyear's famous catchphrase in Toy Story.
Speaker 20 (37:07):
To infinity and beyond?
Speaker 2 (37:10):
That's right, just like he says it. The current score
guys up?
Speaker 3 (37:15):
One?
Speaker 2 (37:15):
Oh by? What stage name is singer Robert Zimmerman better known.
Speaker 13 (37:20):
As Oh God Kish, I.
Speaker 14 (37:25):
Don't know no.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
Bob Dylan, Bob.
Speaker 17 (37:32):
Okay, I didn't I didn't even know that one?
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Well, jans Inswans blown in the linn.
Speaker 17 (37:43):
Alright, now, let me tell you the best.
Speaker 7 (37:48):
The William Sasha Fierce is the stage alter ego of
what female superstar?
Speaker 13 (37:57):
Can you repeat the question?
Speaker 20 (37:58):
I'm sorry?
Speaker 7 (37:59):
Yes, is the stage alter ego of what female superstar?
Speaker 20 (38:07):
Beyonce?
Speaker 7 (38:08):
No, that's right.
Speaker 2 (38:11):
That means fellas do battle championship certificate you got it
posted the soul Shoes, the hashtag Valentine and the morning. Share
your pride and a thank you hello to miss Knowles. Beyonce.
You're going. You got tickets?
Speaker 5 (38:30):

Speaker 2 (38:35):
You and your wife Beyonce Sofi Stadium this May. They're
on stal now, ticketmaster dot com.
Speaker 5 (38:39):
Congrats, Thank you guys.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
You're so welcome. Well, listen, Laura as you exit the stage,
this moment is entirely yours. You take it away.
Speaker 6 (38:50):
Congratulations and everybody have a happy day and a good
morning and a happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Thank you very much. Coming up, Three things you need
to know? Well, not a guel, what is it? What
was out of order? The NFL Draft is going down
next week. The Rams are doing something really special for
firefighters here in South California. So if you don't know
about it, we'll fill you in a few minutes.
Speaker 11 (39:13):
Here from Sedan's and SUV's too full sized trucks. Experience
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.
Speaker 7 (39:21):
Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
It is Valentine in the morning. This is one of
four to three MIFM the NFL draft going down next week.
During it, the RAMS are honoring local firefighters. Normally, the
RAMS make their picks from a mansion by the beach,
but this year they are drafting from the LAFD Air
Operations headquarters and Van Eyes Rams exact way to go.
I love that, love I want to be there for that.
(39:46):
I love that. But I'm not a firefighter, so that's
a big note for me. The facility will remain fully
operational during the draft. Well, let's not get in their way. Yes, sorry,
I missed a call because we had the number two
pick just coming in. It is so cool. I hope
they enjoy that. That's very neat. Now, if you ever
buy things from companies like Timu or she And, they
plan to raise their prices for US customers starting next week.
(40:10):
That both those companies are based in China. This isn't
response to US terrors. She and Timu sell inexpensive products
like clothes, cosmetics, houshold items of small electronics. They're probably
made in the backs of children in sweatshops. Personal observation.
This news would be good for Amazon, which recently launched
something called Amazon Hall with low cost items under twenty dollars.
(40:30):
Fast fashion is something that's become very prevalent in recent years,
and a lot of us don't know the story of
fast fashion where you get something really quick like that
cheaply made where and then sometimes you just don't wear
it again because it was so cheap, or you send
it back and a lot of that stuff ends up
in the landfills. It's really not good fast fashion. John
Kimucci has got the music news well.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
Doing all right?
Speaker 13 (49:45):
So, yeah, I wanted to call about the happy news
because a while ago, like two years ago, I had
called because it was my daughter's last day of radiation
for Maddie. Today's happy news is about she got a
student of the month award out of twenty two thousand
students in the school district.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
Holy dude, she got high schooler of the month out
of like twenty two thousand kids. Oh my gosh, can
you can you tell us a bit about her story?
Speaker 13 (50:16):
Yeah, she missed her whole entire freshman year because of
a brain tumor, and then she had all those other
things that happened, and then she had nerve damage from
on her left side, so she's a little unbalanced. Has
had a bunch of obstacles every single day and throughout
(50:36):
the whole journey of her high school, and even with
all of that happening, she has had a good GPA.
She was in a junior varsity team. But even then
she pushed and got better and continued and she's done
(50:57):
so many things and she had chefs in her culinary
class now and.
Speaker 2 (51:02):
She is just a massive inspiration. She is not letting
this medical obstacle define her, is she.
Speaker 13 (51:08):
No, she's not. I feel that she's not letting herself
be like a product of circumstances. She's just pushed.
Speaker 10 (51:16):
Oh my god.
Speaker 19 (51:17):
And now she's in the.
Speaker 13 (51:19):
Running for a Student of the Year and if she
does get that, she'll have seventeen thousand dollars for a
scholarship of her College of Toys.
Speaker 2 (51:28):
Oh come, we're miracle, Maddie. Maddie, Maddie, great job, Maddie.
Is she at school right now?
Speaker 19 (51:34):
He's actually right next to me.
Speaker 13 (51:35):
She's a minute.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
Hi, guys, Maddie, You're amazing.
Speaker 7 (51:40):
We're so proud of you. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
That is like, I mean, what's your secret? Because so
many of us. We face really tough obstacles in life,
and You've had a bunch of stuff thrown at you.
What's been your secret or what is what keeps you going?
Speaker 22 (51:54):
Maddie, Honestly, I just kept trying to remember that all
other people have it worse than me, and yeah, my life,
it's not the best life in the world. I mean,
I had to relearn how to read and count and stuff.
And I'm not the smartest kid in the world. But
I can try, and that's all I really can do.
And if I try my hardest and smile, may maybe
it'll help other people.
Speaker 2 (52:16):
You said a phrase there. I'm not the smartest kid
in the world, but the words that you said were
full of wisdom.
Speaker 17 (52:21):
Oh, thank you.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
Unbelievable. What do you want to say to your mom?
Because I know how this has been an unbelievable struggle
for you, But when a parent sees our child facing
any type of medical obstacle, we want to take all
that pain upon ourselves. We would like to take all
that off of you and shouldered ourselves. And I know
mom has been by your side this entire time. What
would you say to her.
Speaker 8 (52:42):
That thank you for advocating for me when no one
else did. I mean when teachers would call dumb because
I couldn't read anymore. I didn't know how to count
back from ten because of medical issues anymore. She was
the one who advocated for me no matter what. Without her,
I wouldn't be here today because she saved my life.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Oh, Maddie, you're amazing. Your mom's amazing. I wish you
guys nothing but the best. And I think I'm gonna
put you on the Christmas card list. Thank you you
made it, Maddie.
Speaker 7 (53:15):
Could we vote for there is something?
Speaker 2 (53:18):
Oh God, can we do that? Can we vote for
student of the Year.
Speaker 14 (53:21):
I think you guys have a chance.
Speaker 13 (53:23):
You would have to talk to our school board, but you.
Speaker 22 (53:25):
Can put in your input on it.
Speaker 19 (53:26):
Okay, Oh, but you could definitely do that.
Speaker 8 (53:29):
I think.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
Yeah. Have mom send us the info when she gets
a chance, you know, via text or our DMS or
something like that, and then we will tell everybody in
La County to vote for you for Student of the Year.
And we're syndicated too, so we'll go on the air
in Salt Lake's Points, Alaska, in Georgia, in Texas and
tell everyone to vote for you.
Speaker 22 (53:47):
It means a lot, it really does.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
Thank you, Hank Tight Maddie want to get Mom's address?
Speaker 8 (53:51):
Kay?
Speaker 2 (53:52):
Okay, thank you, love my God, you thought you needed
some words of inspiration when you thought you needed to
hear somebody articulate life in the absolute sweetness and succinctness
of a young girl like that. Who knew it is
gonna be the voice of Mattie today?
Speaker 12 (54:08):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (54:09):

seeing these rumors and hearing these rumors that you all
think Ryan Gosling is going to star in this film.
(55:35):
And there's a little pause and he said, I can
confirm it. So he confirmed Ryan Gosling will star in
Star Wars Starfighter, and then he came out on stage
there in Japan. The crowd, well, it's raizing. Yes, So
Star Wars Starfighter will be in theater's Memorial Day of

carry him to his room when he falls asleep on
the couch because he's an adult now and he's heavy.

credit for being the guy that said, you know, one
day you're gonna pick up your kid and hold him,
pick him up, hug him and stuff like that for
the last time and not know it was the last time.
Speaker 19 (58:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (58:35):
Yeah, that had.
Speaker 2 (58:36):
Dad's crying for weeks. The idea of you pick up
your kid, you give him big, a hug, whatever, and

She'd waited like seven months to tell us that she
was pregnant, and she's been waiting, she's been waiting to
call in. I found that so amazing and so sweet
that she was waiting to call in and sharing news
with us, her family and with you listening, because we're
all part of this big family. And then we talked
to Maddie, who Maddie had been fighting a brain tumor,
and she's a young girl in high school and she's
(01:00:38):
overcome so many obstacles, and she was sharing that strength
and resolved that she has. And we talked to Eddie,

passed and uh, she didn't post about her costume, but

It's confirmation.
Speaker 7 (01:03:09):

would traffic suddenly get easier? If you're stuck in it,
we might be getting you out of it.

Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Hey twenty one, it is Valencide in the morning. This
is one a four three MIFM transportation official some an
ounce to completion. It'd be seven hundred million dollar project
that's added new lanes to the five freeway. Drivers can
now start enjoying the benefits of this project. After years
of construction. This is one of the most congested stretches
of the freeway in the country. About half million people
(01:08:17):
commute on it every single day. Where is this stretch
of the freeway, Brian.
Speaker 1 (01:08:21):
Oh, I looked it up. Hold on, give me two seconds.
In Alter it's like, uh near the seventy something in
the seventy one. Uh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:08:31):
Yeah, And uh it's on the five.
Speaker 2 (01:08:34):
I don't know five runs so far it runs the state.
I'll give you a second OFFI okay, after this story,

and Lukadancik teaming up the playoffs for the first time.
Both teams look primed to do well.
Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
This is from El Toro Road to State Route seventy
three new lanes in each direction between Avery Parkway to
Alicia Parkway and a second carpool Lane from Alicia Parkway

Speaker 5 (01:09:18):
Oh thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
John's got the music news.
Speaker 4 (01:09:23):
Well, Lord has officially announced a new single this week.
Her new song will be called what was That. It's
gonna be the first song for her in like four years,
so it's gonna be a big return for Lord. She said,
everything is about to change here now. She came out
last weekend with Charlie xcxit Coachella, so fans are wondering
if she's gonna make an appearance again this weekend.
Speaker 5 (01:09:39):
We'll have to see. I'm John Camuci. That's today's music news.
Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
Is there a rumor or story about you that people
think it's true, but it's not? Textan right now three
one oh four to three this Texas.
Speaker 7 (01:09:48):
After I got a divorce, people started saying that I
enhanced my chest, but in reality, I just started wearing
Victoria's secret bombshell brawl line increases two cup sizes, Life change,
But I laugh at how interested in my life people
really are. You can text us at now at three
one oh four to three.
Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
Last I didn't.
Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
I didn't.
Speaker 10 (01:10:18):
Feels Sunday.
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
We got a text in here talking about the opening
up of the five freeway. That construction, the five free
what was a nightmare. Since it's open though, it has
been so amazing. My hour commute has now been cut
down the thirty five minutes.
Speaker 7 (01:10:39):
WHOA, that's great, right, that's so good.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Yeah, because that right now, that one on one, four
or five thing is a nightmare for so many people.
So it's been bad. But obviously with the rerouting people
from the fires and stuff like that, people living in
different areas, that area has been very, very congested. Lightly,
it's just crazier than it's ever been. So traffic give
me incredibly burdens from here in LA. But if you
stuck the car, this kid is for us. Sorry, keep
(01:11:03):
those lanes closed. We want you in that car listening,
but you can't take us in with you. When you
go into the office to the free iHeart Radio app.
Make sure you download the free iHeart Radio app and
make my make my FM your number one preset on
the app. Your number one pre set? All right? So
is there a rumor story about you that people think
it's true but it's not.
Speaker 4 (01:11:22):
I feel like all the rumors end up coming from
this room somehow. But there is this rumor about me
that every time there's an allegation that every time I
come to work in a hat, it's because I'm hungover
from the night. Oh yes, that's the big rumor. I
showed up to like a State of Brothers hit in
a hat and someone was like, oh, were you out
last night?
Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
That's like, that's not a real rumor.
Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
Well no, now, wait a minute. Every rumor is founded
in a little bit of truth. Right, was a hat
backwards though? That's our thing. We say, when the hat's backwards,
you've had a late night.
Speaker 5 (01:11:51):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
But your hat is forward right now, and I've got
no problem with you. Nice. When it's backwards, we believe
it's holding up your eyebrows and your eyes. Tell you.
Speaker 4 (01:11:59):
Sometimes, when I'm really tired, I will wear my hat
backwards extra tight so I can keep my eyelids open
from my eyes.
Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Okay, so how is this a rumor? Then? Well, it's
the truth.
Speaker 5 (01:12:08):
That's just when I'm really tired. Sometimes. That doesn't mean
every time it's backward that's the case.
Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
Yeah, But a lot of it it is. This rumor
is based in truth.
Speaker 7 (01:12:19):
Just how it started, you saying it is how it started?
Speaker 2 (01:12:24):
Yea, yeah, right, And he came in from a very
late night with the frat guys playing the brew Jays
his softball team, and it's called the brew Jays. You
make a big leap of faith there.
Speaker 5 (01:12:35):
You're making your own allegations.
Speaker 2 (01:12:37):
Okay, room about me. That is entirely not true. I
joked in the air one time that I reuse my
dental floss and I hang it on a bit of
a clothesline that I have set up inside my house
in my in my bathroom. And people to this day
think that I use my dental floss multiple times and
dry it on a small clothes line next to my sink.
Speaker 5 (01:12:56):
God.
Speaker 1 (01:12:56):
No, just the other day someone at my kid's daycare.
Have to be people.
Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
Yeah, I'm a giver for the planet.
Speaker 7 (01:13:08):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
I learned that DiCaprio taught me that Leo DiCaprio sai,
let's do this for the planet. What is the rumor
about you, Brian? That's not true.
Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
Again, these are somewhat based in the mage of reality.
Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
People think I'm bald. People think my dad gives me
a thousand dollars every week.
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
You think that, Yeah, your dad does not give you
a thousand bucks every week, but he gives you a quarterly,
siphen that's quite large. That is true. You told me
he gives you a check every quarter. Yeah, he just
paid for that trip to Hawaii for you guys because
your dad's rich. Okay, see this is where it gets
good money. It's a little gray, a little bit gray area,
(01:13:41):
but it's not like a you know, direct deposit.
Speaker 1 (01:13:45):
Yeah, extime.
Speaker 10 (01:13:46):
I'm tying in the morning at three, one, four, three, all.
Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
Right, eight thirty three. Weather today, cool, cloudy, slight chance
of rain. Timp's fifty sixties for the weekend, sunny, slightly warmer,
high scurrechy eighties by Sunday fifty six, Rose fifty in
Manhattan Beach. Jill's got the him in headlines coming up, a.
Speaker 7 (01:14:01):
Star of one of the best movies from the early
two thousands is joining Grey's Anatomy. I'll tell you who.
Coming up at eight fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
All were talking about rumors about you that aren't true.
Jill mentioned that she has never worn the SMEI costume.
No sexy Smee.
Speaker 22 (01:14:15):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:14:16):
Her husband says different.
Speaker 7 (01:14:18):
He was joking you, hear it.
Speaker 4 (01:14:22):
Like most people are on your side, Jill. There's like
some texts that have come in like this, and says
if Jill would admit to her family's butt crack length,
why would she lie about wearing a sexy smeek costume.
Speaker 2 (01:14:32):
Oh yeah, gosh, I believe I'm gonna see your hold on. Yeah,
she does. I'm gonna see her parents this weekend. I'm
gonna be keeping an eye out. It's just your dad.
Speaker 7 (01:14:42):
I inherited the escodo longer, but.
Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
It goes up, like to her vertebrate goes very high.
Speaker 7 (01:14:51):
I've talked about it with my cousins or anything, but.
Speaker 2 (01:14:54):
Have you guys ever done like a line up or
a comparison something like that? We just allright throw something
down on the ground and everyone just bends down to
pick it up.
Speaker 7 (01:15:01):
And then just after we talked about that, my sister
Britt texted and she goes, I've never noticed, can you
inspect mine? And I gladly she's good.
Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Oh my god. Anyways, that was Jill's and you've learned
more than you need to.
Speaker 12 (01:15:15):
John.
Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
There was an allegation that he wears his hat backwards
when he comes in from a partying night before to
keep his eyes open. Brian had his allegation.
Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
That my dad gives me an allowance not true.
Speaker 2 (01:15:26):
Mine was that I reuse my dental floss. Not true, Kathy,
Good morning, welcome to the show.
Speaker 20 (01:15:32):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:15:33):
What can we do for you?
Speaker 14 (01:15:36):
Well, it is I think a fact that you can
reuse your dental floss. Obviously you clean it up with
your fingers after each swipe, but after you risk it,
Oh dear, I'm giving up my secrets. I just hang
(01:15:58):
it up in my So it's okay if you.
Speaker 3 (01:16:07):
Do.
Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
You have like a little teeny clothesline to hang your
dental floss on or something.
Speaker 14 (01:16:13):
No, I have scissors and I hang it over as
a round sinker.
Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
Okay, all right, You've got a little system worked out.
So you use dental floss, then you kind of rinse
it off, you clear it with your fingers in the sink,
rinse it in the sink. Then you hang it up
and reuse that dental floss. How many uses out of
one dental floss do you get? How many uses?
Speaker 14 (01:16:32):
About three?
Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
About three? Okay?
Speaker 14 (01:16:34):
Can I throw it away? I don't know. Maybe I
should spray it with alcohol, But what the heck I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
Can I tell you? By the way, oralb is out
of control, glide is out of control of how much
they cost. It's dental floss's expensive. It is out of control.
So if you guys are reusing your dental floss, you
are not crazy people. All right, No, no, no, thank you.
Kathy Well said you're welcome.
Speaker 14 (01:17:05):
Hey, well, I've always wanted to be on the Christmas
card list.
Speaker 2 (01:17:10):
Okay, listen, here's the thing. I'm gonna be honest. Let
me just know this, jump right in. I'm gonna put
you on it. But you might be getting somebody else's
card from last year. Some of them bounced back to
the bad addresses. I just reused the cards.
Speaker 14 (01:17:24):

Paul Rudd, but we do know the show is currently
in development. Exact plot details are being kept under wraps,
(01:19:25):
but we do know that it's going to be a

in one of my favorite movies of all time, Coyote Ugly.
She's also in Yellowstone. She is going to join Grey's
Anatomy for a three episodes. This season is going to
start with the May first episode. In a coin of variety,
(01:19:46):
Piper Parabot will play a mom of a nine year
old patient who is at the hospital for a high
risk brain surgery. So Piper Parabo joining the cast of
Grey's Anatomy for three episodes. I'm Jill with intimate headlines.
Speaker 2 (01:20:00):

that our current partners are cheating on us like me
and my ex with each other.
Speaker 2 (01:20:18):
Don't got it? I mean I got it and then

that you and your ex are stepping out and that
your current partners are also stepping out on the two
of you.
Speaker 8 (01:20:27):
Is that it?
Speaker 6 (01:20:28):

of you. Maybe you're doing it but planting the idea.
You're planting the seed. You're the jack and the beanstalk
right now, you're trying to go there, grow the beanstalk.
Speaker 16 (01:20:49):
Oh No, the past is the past. I wouldn't do that,
nor do I think my current partner would do that either.
Speaker 7 (01:20:56):
Have you guys talked to do each other about it?
You and your current partner?
Speaker 12 (01:20:59):

Speaker 15 (01:21:00):
Oh, my partner just laughed it off and said, I
don't even know.
Speaker 2 (01:21:03):
I gotta be honest. Now, I'm very suspicious. You see
how rumors get started when he laughed it off. I
don't even know her.
Speaker 1 (01:21:11):
It would be wild though, right, Can you imagine crazy talk?
Speaker 2 (01:21:16):

Have you ever been on the radio before? Is this
your first time?
Speaker 6 (01:22:43):
Oh, this is my first time.
Speaker 18 (01:22:44):
I listen to you guys every morning when I'm taking
my siblings to school. It's been a tradition for me
and my mom to listen to the Battle of the
Sexes and try and answer them.
Speaker 2 (01:22:52):
Before you know, how many people have said that that
the Battle of Sexes, something we've done for a number
of years, became for so many people in such a
almost like a rite of passage. And then we've been
told that like kids, you know, they grow up, they
turn like sixteen, seventeen whenever, and they're driving to school
on their own. We've had young kids call it and go,
and we still turn on the Battle of Sexes because
(01:23:13):
we want me to feel like like mom and dad
are kind of still in the car with me. It's
what I listened to when mom drove me to school
or dad drove me to school. So we still listen
to it even though we're getting older. We can make
our own choices. I find it fascinating. Thank you for that.
Speaker 11 (01:23:26):
By the way, Yeah, that's exactly what I do.
Speaker 18 (01:23:29):
I started listening to you guys in the morning with
my mom freshman year, and now I'm in my first
year of college, still listening.
Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
First year at college and still listening. Where you going
to college?
Speaker 12 (01:23:38):
Where are you going Polish in college?
Speaker 23 (01:23:41):
Nice?
Speaker 5 (01:23:42):
That's my hometown right there at Fullerson.
Speaker 2 (01:23:44):
I love it. Yeah, what do you studying? What are
you going to do in your life?
Speaker 5 (01:23:50):
Right now?
Speaker 18 (01:23:51):
I am still bouncing between a couple of options.
Speaker 12 (01:23:54):
But I am majoring in.
Speaker 18 (01:23:56):
Biotechnology, got it same a supermarine biology.
Speaker 2 (01:24:02):
Oh that's so cool. Find out what's up with that algae,
help out those seals and stuff, you know, Yeah, exactly,
all right, Hank Tig, We'll get your information and we'll
get you all said.
Speaker 12 (01:24:10):
All right, nice job, Okay, thank you, thank you, Hi
hi hi.

morning and tell you gold and let me let you do.
Remember she came in and Scrill looks with her is
way way back when they were together and stuff like that.
And I'm looking at Ellie Goulding like, who's this guy?
Who's she doing this guy? I didn't know how famous
that guy was. I was like, uh, And then Brian's
mad at me because I didn't mention him about somebody
(01:24:58):
famous I met the other night of this award shows
you in the po Star Wars and I was joking
with Jill about like tailor Swift and stuff, and she
was losing her mind. But I did shake this gentleman's
hand and give me a little hug on stage. He
found out I was hanging out with Eddie Vedder from
Pearl jam insane lost his mind And I said, if
(01:25:19):
I hugged Eddie Vedder, would you want to hug me
as if you were that close to Eddie Vedder? Yeah,
I would.
Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I would.
Speaker 3 (01:25:29):
I want to do it right after, but I'd like
if especially if there's like a little warm spot from
on your shoulder maybe and you could nestle into it
for a moment.
Speaker 2 (01:25:39):
Is that some people do? Like if you hug somebody
famous and then you're with that person, you hugged him,
like five minutes later, would you hugg that person thinking
you were close to the DNA the famous person?
Speaker 14 (01:25:49):
I guess.
Speaker 2 (01:25:51):
So if I hugged like Taylor Swift, give her a
big hug five minutes later, I see you out in
the audience, would you want to hug me then to
get the tailor on you.
Speaker 7 (01:25:58):
No, I'm still gonna be very mad at you and
I'm not gonna want to.
Speaker 2 (01:26:01):
Hug you, got it? Because you were like, why don't
you bring me back from the Taylor got it? Okay,
so briy, So I hug Eddie Vedder. Yeah, I come
out in the audience and like five minutes later, would
you want to hug and really get in there getting
a little Eddie Vedder DNA on you? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:26:13):
I would want to take a sniff of you, see
if some of his scent got onto you.
Speaker 2 (01:26:17):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:26:19):
We talked to a woman who like, uh.
Speaker 3 (01:26:21):
The guy from twenty one pilots or something, drank a
bottle of water and then she grabbed it and was
like saving his saliva.
Speaker 4 (01:26:28):
Oh gross, I had this like Nascar face and Tony
Stewart was a NASCAR driver for Home Depot and I
went to a meet and greet and I remember after
I shook his hand, I legitimately did not wash my hand.
Speaker 5 (01:26:39):
For two weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:26:40):
Oh my god, that's so gross.
Speaker 5 (01:26:42):
I was so into it. I thought it was cool.
Speaker 2 (01:26:44):
You think you're gonna be a driver or something now, No,
I just.
Speaker 5 (01:26:47):
Really was into him. I loved him. He's like my
favorite driver.
Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
You don't wash your hand for like two weeks, like legit, legit, Like.
Speaker 5 (01:26:52):
I told my mom I would shower with my hand
right outside the bathtub.
Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
Oh my god, I was so into it.
Speaker 5 (01:26:58):
I was like maybe ten or eleven, who knows.
Speaker 2 (01:27:04):
Well, guess what Eddie Vedder shook? What this hand?
Speaker 11 (01:27:11):
