Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Replay Welcome to the breakfast table A Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I laughed heartily. Oh my God, help us respectful to
say I love you.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
One of four three. My man eat is Valencin in
the Morning, Friday morning. Good morning, Jill. How are you?

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Good morning. I'm doing well, I am, but I'm so
happy that this day has finally come. This has been
the longest week for some reason, and I don't know why.
It is dragged personally, I'm so sorry. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Thanks, every day I've been in this studio, this week
has been an absolute blessing with you guys, and I'm
just sad the week raced by.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Heck, yeah, it's not a bad thing.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
I think you said. This week is dragged.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
The days were long. It's not just in here, it's
even like at home. It just felt like just long days.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Really is a newlywed?

Speaker 5 (00:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Most of it?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
How long are you in newlywed? A year?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Question, I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I guess is whatever you want.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Yeah, maybe the first year. I know you have one
year to get out your think you notes, And I'm
working on those. Oh, I HAVEPP until October.

Speaker 6 (01:08):
So it is wild to get a thank you know,
ten months later. Well I guess that's don't kid though,
all right, Yeah, I hope we will.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Did you guys have a wedding cake?

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Yes, we did.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Did you save the top tier?

Speaker 4 (01:20):
No, because I do that. We just did a little
tiny one or okay, I hurt my arm. We just
did a little tiny one at the reception and then
at our actual ceremony. We had dessert at the restaurant
that we were at, so we didn't have like your
typical big wedding cake, so we didn't say anything.

Speaker 6 (01:37):
I've always kind of thought the wedding cakes, Oh, sorry
to say this are pointless.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Okay, thanks John, Michael. Do you still have the top
tier of your wedding cake? We didn't have a wedding cake.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
We had an ice cream bar ice cream. See, a
lot of people are going away from the cakes, Are
there really? I think so?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
You think so on your basing that on what Michael
and other weddings have been to.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, a lot of weddings. I've been to a lot
of cakes.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Of the other weddings, No, a lot of people.

Speaker 6 (01:58):
Are very divisive on the cakes, and people are saying
it's pointless, and they'll have an ice cream bar or
a fundw station or something, because what is the point there?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Usually isn't enough cake for everyone anyway.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Huh, So they're saying it's pointless. These people come to
you and go pointless, pointless.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
But kind of yeah, I know that. Some take those
big sheet cakes that you can get at a grocery store.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
I use those for people.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
You hide those in the back kitchen. Oh yeah, you
do the cutting of the beautiful cake, right, and then
then oh, we're gonna take it back to cut it,
and then they bring out the cheaper cake.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
So the tradition is then you take the top tier
of your cake and you save that for your one
year anniversary. You take that, you put in your freezer,
and then on your one year anniversary, you and your
spouse have that cake.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, it's not that good.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
I think you would have some freezer bird at that point,
wouldn't they.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Well, you can't. You take it out, let it to frost, obviously,
and it's been wrapped up so the freezer burd should
be minimal. But it's just not tasty.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Did you guys do this yeah, we did.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
It was horrible. I don't remember liking that cake.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Yeah. We just had the cake for pictures. That was
really all. We didn't even eat the cake.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
You didn't even have the cake.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Because it wasn't gluten free.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Oh god, Yeah, why did you ask for free cake?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
We had a candy bar, so I just grabbed some.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
You get one candy bar for the whole group. Wow,
talk about times are tired?

Speaker 4 (03:08):
One four threem.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
My fan, it is balanced. In the morning, I was
telling Jill, I did something to my wrist and it
might be like carpal tunnel if you ever had that,
the worst right fall apart. Jill and I convinced that
this entire room is falling apart medically, right.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
We're all we all have problems.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
John's fine, Well.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I got a tiny throat.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
That's the best I can contribute in a sensitive stomach.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
Some ADHD going on? Definitely some ibs. What got all
the acronyms?

Speaker 2 (03:38):
You have ibs? Deationally, you have rid old Bowsinger.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I would guarantee it.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Did you ever get it checked out?

Speaker 6 (03:44):
No?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
You're self diagnosing? Yes, been to a doctor? No, going
to a doctor.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Maybe you haven't been to a doctor in over ten years.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
No, I haven't been literally over a decade.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Well, if you have like IBS symptoms, you need to
get that checked out. Though.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah, I mean it's something because my stomach is every
day it's fighting.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Something going on, but it's not. I don't want to
talk about it anyway. I was just going to tell
you my hand hurt or something like shooting pain a
second ago, and jo I left it at home my brace,
She goes, you didn't take any ibuprofi or anything. I
try and stay away from drugs. I don't know, I
just I don't do like I'm always afraid to take

(04:21):
too much ibyprofecs is I'm afraid for my liver, even
though you can take fair amount in a daily basis
for a short period of time, but I always feel
like my liver is working overtime anyway from the Margarita's
so I'm not looking to add.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
But you also, isn't an ivory profe that makes you
a little loopy sometimes?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah? Yeah, it makes me.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Feel a weird reaction. Yeah, I take eight hundred milligrams
every day.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Do you have eight hundred milligrams every day just to survive?

Speaker 4 (04:49):
I start my day.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Stop it. Yeah, you pop eight hundred when you start
your day.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
It's a big pill prescribe by my doctor.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Do you build a tolerance to that?

Speaker 4 (04:56):
I guess because it doesn't take the pain away completely?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Is that the only one you take?

Speaker 4 (05:01):
That's the only thing I take right now?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
It's just I think you take like up to twenty
four hundred for a short period of time. Oh really,
I think so. Okay, but I'm not a doctor.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Yeah, I'm just sticking to the eight hundred and that's
just to function a horse pill. Yeah, it's not bad.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Really, imagine his tiny throat trying to swallow that.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Man, those pills. You're scared.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
We'd have to crush it up in some ice cream
for John.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Can you do that? Can you crush up? And I reproven?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Yeah, but this kind of ye, it's not the capsule.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Okay, Well, pop one over here, thank you? Do you
have one?

Speaker 4 (05:35):
No, they're at home, all right?

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Three one oh four three. That's a text line if
you guys want to reach out. It is Valence in
the morning Friday. We've got a new music Friday coming
up next hour for sip coming to the next hour,
and of course it is a My Free Ticket Friday,
which means Jonas Brothers. We start those tickets after six o'clock.
I mentioned it a few minutes ago, but it's worth

(05:58):
mentioning it again. If you're into the Jonas Brothers doing
a My Free Ticket Friday all day today, your chance
to see them in concert at Dodger Stadium after.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Six Whenever we play a Jonas Brothers song, whether it's
you know, the group together, it could be Dnce, which
was Joe's band, It could be Joe by himself, it
could be Nick by himself. Whenever you hear a Jonas
Brothers singing, that would be your cue to call.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Have they all done solo work? Did Kevin do solo work?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
I don't think Kevin did. He's doing host He hosts
with Frankie. They host a show, a TV show, yes,
and then he had his reality show. I don't think
he's done anything for the.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Young kid the bonus Jonas. Yes, right, So if you
hear us playing a monologue from Frankie and Kevin could work,
call in and win. Hey, Patricia, good.

Speaker 7 (06:48):
Morning, good morning, how are you We're doing good?

Speaker 2 (06:50):
I want to get Patty on Patty heard John talking
about his bad chicken yesterday and never got a chance
to call in. And I thought, because we got a
bunch of texts after it to Patricia, I thought it'd
be fun to have you on to talk to John
about his bad chicken. So go ahead, go to educate him.
Go right ahead.

Speaker 7 (07:06):
Okay, I think the chicken was fine. I think something
else made his hommy upset.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
So interesting.

Speaker 7 (07:13):
Yeah, chickens usually pretty good.

Speaker 6 (07:14):
But the allegation was we bought the chicken on a Sunday,
We opened it like the next night. Yeah, didn't end
up using it, so we put it back in his
ziplock bag, left it in there for a few days.
When we pulled it out, it had like a borderline smell.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
A funk you smell.

Speaker 6 (07:29):
It wasn't too much where I'm like, oh this is
some this some bad chicken. It was more like, right,
this could be some bad chicken.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Right. It just didn't smell great.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yeah, I'm a big fan of the sniff test. If
it doesn't smell great, I tend.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Not to eat it when in doubt, throw it out.

Speaker 7 (07:42):
I totally agree with that, Jill. But yeah, no, I
say it's fine. So I've heard that if it doesn't
make you want to toss your cookies, it's totally safety.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
What.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
No, I don't know. Who are you getting your information from?
You know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (07:57):
Top chefs?

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, oh, I don't.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Thing, so I don't know.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
In your mind, it has to be super super bad,
a horrible smell, then you throw.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
It out, then you really, yes, like if you can't
do a sniff test on it, then definitely that's bad.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Okay, But I feel like even if it smelled a
little stinky, it's probably kind of a warning from nature
going hey, I could be going bad. Maybe you shouldn't
eat me. I don't know.

Speaker 7 (08:20):
Yeah, true, true, But that's why you cook it. It's fine.
He said he cooked sick to temperature, so he's good.

Speaker 8 (08:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I guess if you do cook it, you kill a
lot of bacteria and stuff.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Like that, which makes sense.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Yeah, I mean if it was wouldn't be into it.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
If this one ended up being bad chicken, like, I
wouldn't have made it through yesterday.

Speaker 7 (08:34):
You know, maybe you would.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Your stomach took care of it, you know, maybe the
acid and your stomach killed whatever bacteria. Who knows. How
did Olivia do?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
She went to bed with some stomach issues.

Speaker 7 (08:44):
Okay, great, Oh no you poisoned there.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Nothing ended up happening. She slept through the night and
then it went away.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
So I feel like maybe we did get it on
the edge, and like it wasn't enough to really make
us sick a little bit like Patricia's saying, as long
as the smell is not that bad, you can handle it.

Speaker 7 (08:58):
Yeah, yeah, just give it a little rinse get that.
I'm off. You're fine.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Hold on. Sure. When I'm eating something, if I smell
it and I go it doesn't smell that bad, I
tend not to eat.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
It the same way.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
But do you understand what it would be like to
have to find a whole new thing to eat for dinner?

Speaker 7 (09:13):
Yeah? Yeah, that would be a lot of waste.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
So you're gonna risk the stomach.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I'm not like Uber eats.

Speaker 6 (09:21):
I'm not trying to spend a million dollars uber eating
food a bowl of cereal.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Okay, First of all, they able to make good money.
They can afford Uber Eats. If the chicken goes.

Speaker 6 (09:30):
South, they charge a lot. It's not worth it. I'd
rather just go pick something up and then that's a
whole other mission.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
Thank you, Yes, yeah, thank you.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Let's just cook it up.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
You guys are lazy. I'm sure he has a restaurant
like just down the street from you, probably what's there, But.

Speaker 6 (09:43):
I just don't want to go through that hassle. I'd
rather cook some borderline chicken and take.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
My orderline chicken. Take your chances that you end up
in the hospital or something, or you're throwing up and
can't make your jaw, and we made it.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
We're here.

Speaker 9 (09:53):
You let me get a day off too, right?

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Oh your generation? Oh my gosh, Patricia, what do you
do for a living?

Speaker 7 (10:02):
I work for the county.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Are you a food inspector?

Speaker 8 (10:05):
No?

Speaker 7 (10:06):
No, we just all you a good thing.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Right right? What do you do for the county?

Speaker 7 (10:10):
I worked in jail?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Okay, gotcha?

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Yeah, you some questionable food. I guarantee it.

Speaker 7 (10:15):
We're definitely questionable food here.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Yeah, you guys are feeding them chicken from two years ago,
probably over there or something. Do you inspect the people
shoving cell phones in their bomb or something or no?

Speaker 7 (10:26):
No, no, no, that's somebody else's job.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Gotcha. Okay, we'll probably not a cell phone up that,
can you No, you can't get a cell phone up
that you can you cannot get a cell phone up?

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Oh, I bet you it's been done.

Speaker 7 (10:39):
Wow, it sounds like I was talking about my experience.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
What did you say, sir?

Speaker 4 (10:45):
It seems like you're talking about it from experience.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
You seem confident you can't get right.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Cell phones were bigger back in my day. You know
you're much bigger. Those big blocks. You couldn't get those
up there A Patricia, be safe in the jail.

Speaker 7 (11:01):
Okay, okay, thanks guys. You guys are the best.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Okay, you take care. Bye, okay, bye, pretty happy for
a lady works to jail.

Speaker 10 (11:09):
One four three my events.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Good morning, Rose, Good morning. How are you doing?

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Rose?

Speaker 9 (11:18):
I'm great?

Speaker 4 (11:18):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (11:19):
I'm doing alright? You're very chipper today. What's going on? Rose?

Speaker 9 (11:23):
I listen to you guys every single morning when I
from the minute I wake up and drive into work.
And so I just I was getting ready this morning,
and I was like, I haven't heard Brian in a
few days. Oh, I know he was sick last week.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah, passed away. Oh passed away?

Speaker 7 (11:46):
Oh my gosh, I know.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Please No, no, no, no, no, no, no no no.
He's in Hawaii with his family he's on vacation.

Speaker 9 (11:53):
Oh man, I must have missed that part.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah, his dad pays for it. He's got a rich dad.
He does, he does.

Speaker 9 (12:03):
I know, like every quarter he gets a check.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yes, you're right, his dad. I mean, hell would love
to have a rich out like this. You get quarterly
checks from his dad, who is a world famous orthopedic surgeon,
I'm telling you.

Speaker 9 (12:16):
And his wife is what a distinguished PA.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yeah, yeah, she's a very highly distinguished PA physician assistant,
one of the top ten and Southern California routinely every year.
And Brian is a producer of the number three rated
morning show in Los Angeles.

Speaker 8 (12:30):
What happened?

Speaker 9 (12:32):
I'm telling you. I listen to you out every morning.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Oh you're sweetheart.

Speaker 6 (12:37):
Because you're such a good listener, We're gonna give you
a little hack here. Next time you hear that Brian
is out sick. He's got a vacation coming up. Prepare
not to hear him for like a week.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
That is true.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
He takes these random sick days just to get the
family ready. But we're on to him. So he says,
I'm sick, and he stays home packing, getting things ready,
getting stuff set around the house and things, and then
all I'm back for two days. Then they go on vacation.
That's his deal.

Speaker 9 (13:02):
Oh my gosh. Yeah, we figured out how to try
that around here.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Yeah right, he's back Monday, though, I believe. Okay, gre okay,
you have a great weekend.

Speaker 9 (13:10):
Right, I will thank you so much, you too.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
We appreciate you listening. You're very very.

Speaker 9 (13:14):
Sweet, smiling in the morning.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
We're happy to make a smile in the morning. It's
our little you know, fun time, little breakfast table wheels,
hang out and chat with each other, so you're always welcome.

Speaker 9 (13:23):
Oh well, thank you so much. I really appreciate this.
You made my day.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Oh thanks Rose. Thanks for talking us.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
You have a great time listening for so long, of course,
of course, but nice lady.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Sat news about Brian though, I know, gosh, shocking, shocking.
I thought I would have heard that about that. What
a four to three, my family, It is Valentine in
the morning. Well not yet, not yet to bed yet, Jordan.
Let's hit pause in that there you all look at that.
Who needs Brian? Look at Jordan filling if for Brian
did a great job. It's what a four to three?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
My fam.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
It's Bvalanine in the morning, six twenty four. I'm live
on Instagram because I want to show you something. You're
on Instagram check it out at go for Valentine, I
go for Valentine, having a great show. Things are going well,
right then all of a sudden, all of a sudden,
if you're on Instagram, you'll see this. All of our
computers go down the black screen of death. We have
no idea what's in front of us. I will not

(14:16):
be able to tell you the song until I play it.
I will not know what the commercial is. I don't
know how you guys are gonna do your stuff.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
I don't know either.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
How are you gonna do your head tipment headlines.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
I have no clue.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
I'm gonna make them up.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
I'm just gonna pull stuff in my brain.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Yeah, your brain, Just play something and we'll figure it out.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Right, play something, right, So, yeah, this is I Leeland.
Screens right there, just black. Imagine that you're going to work,
You're having a you know, good time at work. Things
are going well. Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere,
for no reason, all of a sudden, the screens turn black.
And what does that teach us about life. Sometimes it's
gonna get dark in life. Sometimes things aren't going to

(14:56):
go your way right, And what do you do. You
do your very best to take a step by step
to figure out the situation in front of you, to
troubleshoot the problem. Engineers are on it. We still have
access to our microphones. We can still speak, still talk
to all that stuff. The controls are still working. So
that's blessing in many respects. But for the rest of
the stuff in our studio, it's just crapped out. That

(15:18):
can happen in a job, that can happen in life.
Sometimes it just doesn't go the way you plan it
to go. So what do you do? Take one step
towards the direction you want to go. We want to
get this fixed. We took a step in that direction.
The right engineers are on top of it, riches on
top of it, and he's got to go with it.
Sometimes you gotta go with the flow, and it doesn't

(15:40):
always seem to be going in your direction. But you
know what, Jesus, take the wheel. That's all you can do.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
I have no idea what's coming up next, because I
can't see a darn thing on my computer screen.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
Who knows what's going to be next?

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Well, John's new music of Friday is slated to be next.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
I mean, do you ever really know what's next?

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Oh, dear God Jesus take the wheel right now. Black
screens of doom in our studio. We can't see a thing,
all right. It's one of four to three, my fam.
This is Valentine the morning. Count us up, Jill to
a great Friday.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
One two three.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
There you go, folks.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Let's go my nineties, my No.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
One three.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Six point thirty three. It is Valentine in the morning.
This is one of four to three, my fam. Weather
today partly sunny, cool, temp sixties, low seventies. We weekend sunny, warm,
high seventies to low eighties. Forty seven, Grananda Hills forty
five and an high. Be impressed if you can, because
we're doing the show right now with no computer screens
in front of us. We don't see any of the
audio that's playing in the background. We can't see what's
coming up. We can't see anything because that went wrong

(16:44):
with our computers. So I'm just asking you to be impressed.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
Yeah, it's just black screens.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
And grant us the grace for the mess. Upset will
be coming. Yes, Jill's got the Entertament headlines on the way.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Glenn Powell got some advice from Tom Cruise about filming
himself doing something that a lot of us don't look
good doing. I'll explain coming up at six fifty.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
All right, it's a.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
Big, big week for new music Friday, so I want
to bring you a couple of songs here. First up
is our next taste of Miley Cyrus' upcoming album. Now,
she's already dropped two songs this week. This is the third.
This is the big single.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
This is end of the World from Miley Cyrus.

Speaker 9 (17:22):
Sure, let's vizin it's not the end of the world.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
God, I need this song. Let's pretend us at the
end of the world. I checked my four oh one.
K oh oh God, you're right.

Speaker 6 (17:43):
So this whole album for her is going to be
this whole concept album. It was inspired by Pink Floyd
because she's got that concert I'm sorry, that concept album
The Wall, and so she's basically doing that with this
entire album. Here all the music video she's done to
this super high production. There're set design you see her
performing all these songs. It's very interesting and that's kind
of the whole theme for this next album. It's going
to be as much visual as it is in audio,

(18:05):
and that comes out in May thirtieth. This is already
the third song we've heard from a This is the
End of the World from Miley Cyrus and it's out now.
And speaking of returns to music, here's another one. Ed
Sheeran back on the scene and he's back to making
some pop bangers.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
This is his newest one. It's called zizom Love.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Just a game, come and play, Okay.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
So what does do xzon mean in Farsi?

Speaker 1 (18:39):
So it means essentially my dear or my love.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Okay, So my dear, Yeah, meet me on the floor tonight,
my dear, okay exactly.

Speaker 6 (18:45):
And he said he's been making it after being inspired
by Persian heritage and culture.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
And I mean Ed loves to travel.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
And connect with different places around the world, so he's
got to bring in that to the mainstream right now.
And what I thought was so cool is ever since
the lawsuit that Ed was just he was sued for
thinking out loud, it was the people who made Marvin Gaves,
Let's get it on. They kind of thought that they'll
sounded too similar. So it was this entire big lawsuit
that I got out of. And ever since that happened,
Ed has been recording every studio session with every song

(19:14):
that he makes because he just wants to show, hey,
the real czy sound coming up with these songs.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
He doesn't even want to mess with it.

Speaker 2 (19:19):
He's worried about like retigious action in the future, so
he's covered his bases totally.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yeah, so he's being extra cautious.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
But then he found that with doing that, now he
has all this great content and fans they always want
to see how his song became, you know what I mean,
the inception of a song. So right now you can
go look up the music video for this song and
it's him in the studio and.

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Exactly how it came together.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
That's very cool.

Speaker 6 (19:38):
You see all the little pieces and it ended up
being kind of a blessing for fans for.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
A young songwriter, that would be amazing to watch as well.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
Yeah, right, the artistic process there. And he's also got
this main music video that he did for it too.
He put these pink hearts like all around the world,
there was one here in La and he took music
videos from him being at all those different locations and
he put it all together.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
So it's this whole global song here that's cool. Should
be the first of many to come from Ed Sharon.
This is a zizo So next up is a debut
album from Knox.

Speaker 8 (20:10):
Now.

Speaker 6 (20:10):
You may or may not be familiar with his viral
song out of last year. It was called not the
nineteen seventy five.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
He said, I you come, You're not the nineteen seven.

Speaker 6 (20:20):
So his debut album is out now and it's very
like two thousand's alternative pop, kind of just like this
right here.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
This is a song called happy ever after All.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Guess Fantasy, sid fairy tale, sereal, Oh, we have a
happy ever after all?

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Wait two is getting that at his other ind all
Wait are no good funny other in all?

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Waity one is right now and not forever are we
have a happy have after all?

Speaker 11 (20:44):
When You're not.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Lays song got I like it. I like that nineteen
seventy five too, But I feel like if I go
see a concert, I can't sit down. No oh, and
I hate that it's not allowed. I hate that I'm
the guy that wants to get there. This show and
sit down and enjoy the music, and you will not
be allowed to sit down or or something like this,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
No, they're bringing you up. I'm sure there's some VIP
section somewhere.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
No, but I thought that was so cool.

Speaker 6 (21:09):
You know, you always hear about happy ever after? But
how many times do you ask? Are we happy ever after?

Speaker 2 (21:13):
All?

Speaker 8 (21:14):
Ah?

Speaker 6 (21:15):
What a creative songwriter. And I feel like all of
his songs are kind of like that. And there's this
sound that's just popular right now. It's like kind of
this miss millennial nostalgia, i'd say, and it seems to
be popular online. Last week we got a new song
from Kesha and Tea Pain, and that has been a
hit online. People are saying it sounds like two thousand
and eight. And there's this like word I'm seeing trend
online right now, recession pop. They're saying, look at the economy,

(21:37):
it feels like it's two thousand and eight. Why not
make the music match too, you know what I mean,
Let's just dive into that nostalgia there.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
So this is kind of in that realm too.

Speaker 6 (21:46):
If you like those, like all American reject songs, maybe
the Jonas Brothers, those like two thousands alternative pop bangers.
This is an entire album that I think you'll like.
It's called Going, Going, Gone from Not. There's a full
playlist on the.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Free iHeart radio app.

Speaker 6 (22:00):
If you want to find some new music I updated
every week. Just search my playlist and it'll pop right up.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
I'm John Kamuchi. That's today's new music.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Thanks John. You know it's wild. We don't have our
computer screens in front of us. They just all want
black and engineering is working on it. We can't see
a thing, so literally, unless we know what the song is,
we can't tell you what the song is. So here
we go and get to hit the next song and
let's see your guesses first. Ready, Okay, yell it out
if you know it.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Okay. Oh man, Oh, it's gonna be a fun game.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Are we doing this?

Speaker 4 (22:30):
Off morning a lot?

Speaker 2 (22:32):
I'm praying they get the screens fixed fast eight sixty
six five four four of MYFM. It is Balentin in
the morning. This is one of four three MYFM.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
We can leave the Christmas lights up to January.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
You know it's funny. It'll be like a big surprise
to us too. And I hope you enjoy that surprise
upon our face and hearing it in our voices when
we play Jonas Brothers song because we can't see our computers.
Our computers are totally down in this studio here at iHeart.
Not for other radio shows, they're all working fine, but
us alms.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
For the pole.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Can we get computer screens at work? Please?

Speaker 6 (23:08):
Convenient timing, I think, can we get anything that works
over here?

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Please? I'm sure if you have a job where some
things don't work, it can be frustrating too. But our
screens are totally down. We can't see a thing in
front of us. I don't know what the next song is.
So if it's a Jonas Brothers song for our contest,
my free ticket Friday will be just as surprise as you.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
And anytime we play a Jonas Brothers song today, you
have a chance at winning tickets. So we will be
waiting with you to hear when that song happens.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Because as soon as I press this button, it's like
a it's a roulette game or spin the wheel for
jukebox or something. I don't know, no idea what it is.
A s reta carpet, not the Jonas Brothers. But that's
coming up. It's Valentine in the morning. This is one
of four three mi Fan. I also do the Battle

(23:55):
of Sex is at seven ten this morning. If you
guys want to play one of four three Mi bem.
It is Valentine in the morning. Somebody is in big
trouble in my world here. So we're looking at this
live feed. We had the birds on the eglets for
the longest time, but apparently I got out voted and

(24:18):
the eglitz are off and now it's like the Venice
Vhotel dot com or something, some kind of hotel down
in Venice Beach, right, John.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
Yeah, the eglits were cool, and then I feel like
it's just it ran its time. They're just sitting there
in a nest. Okay, So we decided to do the
Venice Boardwalk.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
So it's the Venice Boardwalk and there's a little thing
down the bottom. It's a time stamp and everything this
rewind thing and then for whatever reason, it says nineteen
thirteen forty five nuclear explosion down on the bottom. I
know that means if it happened yesterday on Venice on
the boardwalk, or it's coming up tonight or something like that.
But I'm like, who's the jokester on this cam that
we're watching that has that?

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Right? Because it has the little googly eye emoji which
makes it a little fun.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Right, you know, Oh, that's always fun to check it out. Yeah,
we should rewind see what it was. John tried rewinding,
but he gave up after about two seconds. He didn't
want to hold the button down long enough to get
to seven point thirty or seven thirteen last night.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
It's like twelve hours me just holding my thumb.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Don't take twelve hours to hold it, John, No, but
it goes still really slow. Somebody else will look at
it and tell me what it was, please, because this
guy John's got the remote and he's not going to
rewind it to seven thirteen last night for the Venice
Boardwalk camera, like people are.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Walking around, it seems like everything's all right.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
Yeah I suppose so, yeah, I'm just kind of curious
what it was. Anyway, we have no other screens to
work with, so that's what we'll watch it. That's the
screen that works. Some camera at Venice Beach we get
to watch because the screens in our studio are all black.
Engineering can't figure out what's wrong with them yet, so
we're flying by the seat of her pants. We will
do happiness out after seven o'clock. You want to be

(25:51):
involved in that text in three one oh four three
three one o four three one oh.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Four to three my FM.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
Here's what's coming up in entertainment's headlines. For the first
time ever, the MTV Video Music Awards are going to
be airing a little differently this year. I'll tell you
the plan right after Traffic.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
One four to three my SM Entertainment Headlines.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
After Glenn Powell, he has starred in Twisters, Top Good, Maverick,
Anyone but You. He is soon going to be starring
in a new version of the movie The Running Man,
the role Arnold Schwarzenegger played in the nineteen eighty seven
original movie. And when Glenn got the part, his first
call was to Tom Cruise because he wanted to learn
how to run and how to look cool when running.

(26:34):
And if anybody can run cool, it is Tom Cruise.
And Glenn Powell said, Tom told him film yourself running
as soon as possible. You don't look as cool as
you think, he said, And we did. And you talk
to these running coaches and they say there's only one
actor that knows how to run on screen, and that
is Tom Cruise, the running Metal v in theaters in
November of this year.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Doesn't Tom do the high hands when he runs or
something like that? Yes, and that's how he does it right.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
And the MTV Video Music Awards are going to air
on CBS for the first time this year. The show
is going to take place September seventh, live from New York.
The show will be also shown on MTV in Paramount Plus,
but for the first time ever, it's going to be
on CBS as well. I'm Jill with ery timid headlines.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
All right, we've got the Battle of the Sexes coming
up because we want to play today is eight sixty
six five four to four. Ifm eight sixty six five

Speaker 4 (28:02):

email this morning. I get a little preview of what
mail is coming to the house, like a little screenshot
of the envelopes, and it looks like I'm getting some money.
It said like unclaimed property something or other, and I
don't know what that was, but it looked like there
could be a check inside.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Well, did you file for unclaimed property?

Speaker 4 (28:22):
I went to the website that we gave out a
couple weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
That's right, we gave it out on the air. Yes,
and you file for something.

Speaker 10 (28:27):
No.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
I looked it up, but I didn't see anything.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Well, then you're probably not getting anything.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
I think you have to file for it before you
get it.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Well, unless somebody filed it for me.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Did I file for you? Yes, I'd like a ten
percent Finder's feed be great.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Photo. It looks like it. It looks like a check
is coming back.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
You feel like a check is coming your way. And
the address looks like a legit address or anything.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
Yeah, it looks legit.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Is it from the state? Yes, yes, maybe you get
a check.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
I hope so, I think.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
But it's weird that you would get it randomly, because
they don't like to give away money unless you claim it.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Maybe I don't know. They want to do a good
deed for.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
The day who they did the unclaimed property people. So
let's go do a good deeds. Let's send this random
girl some money even though she hasn't filed for it.

Such an adult. When you say I've got nothing planned,
it's glorious.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
I have to do my taxes, that's my only thing.
I'm happy to have nothing else to do.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
Do you doing your taxes yourself. Yeah, are you just

next year your file as married.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
Well, we were thinking we might have to file together
this year.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
What did you get married last year?

Speaker 1 (35:37):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (35:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. When'd you get married?

Speaker 9 (35:39):
July?

Speaker 2 (35:39):
July? That was the seventh month of the year. Yeah,
I don't know how that works.

Speaker 9 (35:45):
I tell you.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
We decided that we needed to do a little bit
of research and work on it this weekend. The deadline
is quickly approaching, but we think we might have to file.

Speaker 3 (35:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
I don't know if you have to be like half
the year married or if that matters at all.

Meryl Streep could be playing the talking lion who is

Narnia's guardian and a guide for the human children in
the stories. But that could be Meryl Streep. Typically, I
believe it's generally portrayed by a male. This character female
street I'm Jill Okay entertainment headlines.

Speaker 2 (47:09):

After Laurence Fishburn was asked if he'd ever consider returning
to the Matrix franchise as his character Morpheus. He was
in the first Matrix films, but he wasn't in the
twenty twenty one movie The Matrix Resurrections. But Laurence Fishburn
could come back, he said, it depends on the circumstances,
who was involved, how well the script has been written.
If they offer me then, he said, because you know,

(01:00:40):
I offered my services to the fourth Matrix and they
didn't respond well, and for whatever reason, that didn't happen.
So we'll see. And ABC announced yesterday that it has
renewed Grey's Anatomy nine one one, The Rookie Will Trent,
and the comedy Shifting Gears. It was he also previously

Racings.

Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
You need to know right now, like random prizes, not
like if a million people respond. So let me just yeah,
like randomly selected. Okay, perfect, Yes. So a whale has
spent the last several days in the Catalina landing in
downtown Long Beach. Wildlife experts believe the whale arrived in
the harbor in the middle of the night when tides
were high. Then the tide has since continued to get lower.

(01:04:21):
Now a large bridge also casts a big shadow in
the water right there, if you know what I'm talking about,
that might confuse the whale. Officials say, though the whale
does not have any visible injuries or wounds appears otherwise healthy,
so they continue to monitor and hopefully get that whale
back out to see where it belongs. The Associated Press
named USC basketball starry Juju Watkins it's Player of the

(01:04:41):

It's the Angel's home opener, and so Toyota is going

some Toyota swag. They'll bring some cars with them, so.

that's a coma. Is so sweet, Colin. I always wanted
to get one and totally trip it out.

Speaker 6 (01:06:26):
Or oh yeah, last time I ran up to a
mountain high and I saw the Toyota gang. They brought
that Tacoma with them sitting in that truck. Never wanted
to be more of a truck guy.

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
Tuns big might be too much truck for me. Tacoma's
like right there, Yeah, like I could handle that. My
roommate's got a ex room. Might now he's got a tundra.
Oh you broke up, he broke up. I'm sorry I
left him for my girlfriend. I'm sorry about it. Yeah,

It could be a Nick Jonas song, or a Joe
Jonas song, a DNCE song because Joe Jonas is the

(01:07:30):
lead singer of d NZE. If you hear a Jonas
brother singing, that's when you want to call in for
your chance to win tickets.

here's the song that would work. Did he ever do anything,
Frankie Jonas, No, he's on TV, right, but I don't
know if you ever did anything musically maybe, he said,
I'll step out and do the acting thing. I'll be
the Marky Wahlberg of that hole.

Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
There, you know, very talented family.

Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
But Mark Wahlberg did some singing too, but then he
got really into the acting.

Speaker 6 (01:07:56):
Frankie Jonas has released solo music Oh really Yeah, his
debut single in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
Oh ow yeah, whoops that might play too? Who knows

Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
After Glenn Powell, he has starred in Twisters, Top Gun, Maverick,
Anyone but You. He is soon going to be starring
in a new version of the movie The Running Man,
the the role Arnold Schwarzenegger played in the nineteen eighty
seven original movie, and when Glenn got the part, his
first call was to his friend Tom Cruise to learn

(01:08:31):
how to run. Glenn Powell said that Tom Cruise told
him film yourself running as soon as possible. You don't
look as cool as you think, and we did. And
he said he talked to running coaches and they all
said the one actor that knows how to run on
screen is Tom Cruise. And the Running man will be
in theaters in November of this year. And speaking of
Tom Cruise, he paid a heartfelt tribute to his late

(01:08:54):
Top Gun co star Val Kilmer. Yesterday he was at
Cinema Con in Vegas talking about Mission and Possible the
Final Reckoning, and he asked the audience for a moment
of silence, and he said, I can't tell you how
much I admire his work, how grateful and honored I
was when he joined Top Gun and came back later
for Top Gun. Maverick. I think it would be really
nice if we could have a moment together, because he

(01:09:15):
loved movies and he gave a lot to all of us.
