It's the Valentine in the Morning replay. Welcome to the
breakfast table of Valentine in the Morning. I laughed heartily,
help us respectful to say I love you. The full
show podcast starts right now, one of four three my evam,
It's Valentine in the Morning. Welcome to it, folks. It's
it's your Thursday morning, the day before Valentine's gonna be
a rainy, rainy day today. That rain is getting crazy
(00:24):
out there already. I'll be careful of that. Hey, you
in this morning, Jill.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
As we discussed yesterday, I was supposed to have a
hair appointment today, it's we discuss that yesterday.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
It all off, we did.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Oh, that's right.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Now we have a couple of days to stew have.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
A couple of days. So now are you reconsidering now
that you have more time?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
No, I'm still on the chop chop train.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Is that a.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Sign though, that maybe you shouldn't cut it off? Like
maybe the universe paused you from the haircut because you're
about to make a big mistake.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Oh, and this is the second rescheduling of this appointment.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
I'd start, I don't know, I'd start leaning against it.
Then if I had two reschedules, I would think somebody's
trying to tell me something. Ooh, that's just me though,
you do you?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, we'll see how I feel next week.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Right, It's not gonna make a difference to me, honestly,
because I only see half your head.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
You only see from my nose up.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Because she has a computer screen in front of us,
so I see her upper lip and above. So she
chops her hair, I won't even notice.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Let's keep the hair off the upper lip as well.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Is that a problem for me?
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (01:29):
What do you?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I could? I could have it waxed.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Really do you?
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah, you can have it wax or laser or whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Do you use one of those little micro like blades
or do you use a real razor.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
I don't use a real razor. I don't use a little.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Bit frame that'll grow more than right.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Well, so I used to wax it, but my skin
is so sensitive it would always freak out. So now
I just have it's not a microblade tool, it's not
a razor, but it's just one of those little facial
hair remover. It's like a teeny tiny little like a
battery powered thing.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Okay, just a battery power of thing in your.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Face, which I guess would be like a little razor.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yeah. They're like micro erasers. Yeah maybe, Yeah, they're tenny.
The guys use them like sometimes for their ear hair
or something like that.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Yeah, yeah, all over from the nose down.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Did you use it today?
Speaker 5 (02:14):
No?
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Because I need sun? Oh what the sun has to
be hit my lip just right so that I can
see where the hair is, so I normally get in my.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Car well driving. No, you just have a need a
certain listen of sun upon your upper lip. You have
a shave it so when the sun hits a certain
moment in the sky. Yes, why do I feel like
I'm in Indiana Jones and I'm about to go into
the Temple of Doom. The sun hits the sun dial
the right spot, and then we know how much of
(02:43):
her upper lip to shave.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
I want to be a billionaire, so fucking bad by
all of the things on now.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
The heck.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
One of four to three, my fam, It is Valentine
in the morning. Hey Kim, Good morning Kim. We have
a lot of questions. We have a lot of questions.
Hopefully I've got all the answers for you.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Okay, I'm gonna start with mine and then we'll go
around the room.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Here. Okay, what exactly did you give me? Is that
for a man or a woman? I was unsure.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
It's for wherever you want?
Speaker 6 (03:26):
This is no this is a thing because people assume
one thing is made just for this. But if it fits,
it works, That's what I told Val.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
I know you were so learned, Jil, I should have believed.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
So does it fit? The glove didn't fit? And this
don't fit? So we don't quit. I just I wondered.
I didn't know. This is our friend Kim. She works
in the adult industry, and she dropped off some gifts
for us while we're doing our.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
Appearance the other day.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
And some of the girls I won't say who could
not wait to unwrap theirs.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
By the way, yeah, I wanted to see what they were.
I have no questions about mine. So thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
Really you got a couple of didn't you.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
I got a wedding gift and another gift?
Speaker 1 (04:17):
What did you get?
Speaker 2 (04:18):
That's Montrey?
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Okay, and I think you were like, I don't know
if I can wear this, and your mom's like, well,
if you're not I'll wear it. Her mom and dad
were there when she opened up the gifts in front
of them.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Was sitting there and I said, oh, I can't wear this.
My mom goes, sure you can'd.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
It was very nice. It was very classic, very nice
see through obviously.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
But then my dad said, if I wasn't gonna wear
it to please give it to my mom.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Od time. Yeah, that was a big hit, big hit.
And what was the other gift, Jill?
Speaker 2 (04:53):
It was a Yes, it was a device.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
It's a massage, a mini one, which I.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Think is for like on the go travel.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
Right, Yes, excuse me, one on the go travel like
you're on the airplane.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Carry on.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
When you're just traveling with us.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
No to take with you on a vacation, okay, all
right if it's a long trip, you know.
Speaker 7 (05:19):
Yeah, I'm sure Kim would probably say, like Shakiro wherever, whenever.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Joe, what did you get?
Speaker 7 (05:25):
I don't know yet because my girlfriend's out of town
and you haven't opened it. I haven't opened it yet.
Oh so I thought she comes back actually tonight.
Speaker 6 (05:32):
So together, John, You've got the most unique one.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Que I've got to tell us what it is. So
mine was just a thing that goes inside of things.
But mine was a battery? Power was it? I don't know.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
They're they're all rechargeable.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
They're pretty much all.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I thought that was an object, and then I thought
the suction cup was to place it so that he
could then listen.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
There is no hen that's not that's not happening.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Okay, what's the light for?
Speaker 6 (06:11):
The light's usually indicated when the power is on.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I think you kind of known, Kim.
Speaker 7 (06:22):
I appreciate about you is you do a really good
job of trying to make people feel comfortable with this
kind of stuff because everyone's human, you know, and people
do feel sometimes uncomfortable about these kinds of topics, and
you do a good job of just letting us know
that it's just part of the human experience.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
Then what's in your box? I really want to know
what John's is? He said his is most you need
to know.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Can you tell us what it is?
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Can I tell you?
Speaker 7 (06:44):
You kid, My girlfriend's on vacation with her family unfortunately,
so I hope neither of them are listening.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
But she doesn't come home until tonight.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
What is it?
Speaker 6 (06:51):
It's something that is an accessory for your finger.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Oh, and it's kind of more like a like a
team sport. With that one, it can.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Be what definitely, how do you know this stuff you have?
I think you do.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
I was I was sent one one time.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Why do you get the things?
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I don't know? But this was years ago. It was
a couple of different things, and I was so confused
of what this was, and I was like, what in
the world, where does this go? I don't know what
this is. I had to google it and then I
saw it and I just I never used it, Okay, truly,
(07:35):
that's when I did not the other stuff.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
You can see.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Your car.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
I traveled these short trips. She loves taking trips.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
It's a long drive from Riverside.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Guys, Thanks Kim, No problem at all. Valentine in the
morning one o four to three my FM ninety to
now one four three, my fam it is Valentine that morning.
I think Laura has an interesting story about something.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Right.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
Absolutely, I'm always trying to put kindness out in the
world and generosity, and I've learned maybe you should not
do that. Last night, my boyfriend and I were at
a comedy show and you know, as we walked in,
we were at the door and we said, oh, there
should be a couple of tickets under our name. They said, oh, great,
you guys.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Have four tickets.
Speaker 8 (08:35):
We were like, oh, only meant to be two anyway.
And there was this lovely man behind us that were
sort of chatting to in the line. Seemed like a
great guy. And then he went up to the door
and they said, oh, we can't see a ticket under
your name. And we thought, oh, you know what, put
him under our names.
Speaker 3 (08:50):
We had four, we had four.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Let him in. Anyway.
Speaker 8 (08:53):
We go in and probably about ten minutes into the show,
someone from across the room started heckling and really trying
to interact with the show. We've all been to shows
like that where they sort of start to like say
things and try to get back and forth. Anyway.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
You know, we couldn't really see. It was dark.
Speaker 8 (09:11):
He kept going on, kept going on, eventually to the
point he got up on the stage. This was a
one woman show, so this woman is just at this
point improving with this man.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
She has no clue.
Speaker 8 (09:23):
So then security comes and escorts this man out. And
my boyfriend I looking at each other like, oh my gosh,
we did this, and now this crazy man is going
to say like, oh, I'm under their ticket allocation.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
I'm with them. It was the man we let in.
Speaker 8 (09:41):
No, he was on our guest listen.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
So they come to you and go, oh, I'm sorry.
We had to kick out your friend that you had tonight,
so it looks bad on you.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
We were so embarrassed.
Speaker 8 (09:50):
We got the dirtiest looks from security when we walked out.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Well, they probably didn't even have a ticket to show.
Speaker 8 (09:58):
That is exactly what we were thinking, is that he
just hopped in line. I'll be friends with people. Came
across so normal people, and I'm just putting it out
that maybe you shouldn't be a kind human.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
All the time. Okay, there it is a message from
Laura today. Don't do any good deeds.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
And if you were that man, what's up? What were
you doing? Wicked? Yes, no good deed goes unpunished. Okay,
thank you for that.
Speaker 9 (10:24):
Jill.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Four to three my FM Listen anywhere with the free
iHeartRadio app one of four to three my FM. It
is Valentine in the morning. Welcome to your rainy, rainy, rainy,
rainy Thursday morning. The wind as well kind of crazy
today too. A lot of weather already happening out there.
(10:49):
I hope you're doing okay where you are. Will keep
you up to a date with that throughout the morning. John, Yeah,
what would you like to bring to the table today?
Speaker 7 (10:56):
So Google came out with this report essentially of some
trends that they have noticed through surveys and through search
engine checking and stuff like that for Valentine's Day coming up,
things that are different specifically this year. So I thought
i'd read you the top two since third year towards
women and check with you.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Jill.
Speaker 7 (11:11):
Great, because it says that the biggest difference this year
for women is that this is the first year most
women would actually rather stay inside than go out for
Valentine's Day. Apparently sixty three percent of women say celebrating
at home sounds more fun than going out.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
I would agree with that, Joe, What say you?
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I agree? It's so crowded for Valentine's Day when you're
going out and trying to get a reservation, and I
would much rather stay home.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Really, what's two percentage?
Speaker 2 (11:37):
You got?
Speaker 7 (11:37):
Sixty three percent of women? Apparently fifty five percent of
men think that. So actually, more women right now want
to stay in for Valentine's day.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
I think it should be more. Have you checked the forecast?
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yeah? All right, how about this one.
Speaker 7 (11:50):
Fifty two percent of women now think Valentine's Day proposals
are overrated. Oh so if you're going to propose on
Valentine's Day, apparently most women now think that that's too cheesy,
not a good idea.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Oh I don't know. I would have taken Valentine's Day.
That would have been fine with me. You would have
taken any day exactly, an.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Easy one to please, Yeah, she is. Do you remember
your proposal date?
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Yeah, November twenty five.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, do you guys celebrate that.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
It was the day after Thanksgiving?
Speaker 3 (12:18):
So that was easier. Yeah, yeah, that helps.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Yeah, Like, do you remember yours?
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Briy?
Speaker 1 (12:22):
I was just trying to think of it. I could
for a million dollars. I didn't tell you, no idea,
no idea. Anniversaries we got that on lockdown days we
propose back then. I didn't have a calendar in my
phone to put it in. Now, it's so.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Easy for people.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
If your wife's now, I bet they would know.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Probably, I bet they was super early, but.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Super early.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Let's give it a shot. Hey, babe, Hamburg, Hey doing
it's your uh, it's your lover.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Please do boy, you don't like that voice?
Speaker 6 (13:01):
No, because we all know his voice, that is, we
won't say it.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
We all do not know.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
We all don't know what you're talking about. What are
you saying?
Speaker 6 (13:11):
Anyway? Go ahead?
Speaker 9 (13:12):
No?
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Wait?
Speaker 3 (13:12):
Whose voice am I doing?
Speaker 6 (13:14):
You know whose voice that is?
Speaker 1 (13:16):
Wait? What was that?
Speaker 3 (13:16):
I said?
Speaker 5 (13:17):
Hey?
Speaker 3 (13:17):
Baby?
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Sammy Davis.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Junior, very white?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Who was the doings? Ellen K's husband say, that's what
we say? Is that it?
Speaker 6 (13:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (13:33):
I'm right, you're doing? What's going on? What's going on?
If we could find a way to get like, get
you on the radio? War who sounds so great? It's
great inside thing. But that's like just what Ellen's husband
sounds like. Anyway, we're doing a little thing in the studio.
Jill remembers the day she got engaged. I said, God,
I can't remember. Do you know the day we got engaged?
Speaker 8 (13:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (13:57):
It was a day before Thanksgiving?
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Was it really the day before Thanksgiving?
Speaker 5 (14:03):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (14:04):
It was your dad's birthday?
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Was it? Yeah? Oh?
Speaker 1 (14:08):
Now was this the first time or the second time?
Speaker 6 (14:11):
The first time?
Speaker 1 (14:11):
First time? Do you remember the second time? No?
Speaker 6 (14:14):
Don't, I don't that feels a.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Lot, you know. Yeah, I was impressed in the first time. Yeah,
good on you. All right, ding ding ding you get
a point Yay? What do you got planned for Valentine's.
Speaker 9 (14:28):
I don't have anything plan.
Speaker 6 (14:31):
We don't usually go out on Valentine.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
I know, but it feels like you should have something planned.
I mean, you're you have planned?
Speaker 6 (14:37):
Thank you? Right?
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Three one hundred and sixty four days a year, this
woman lives a Valentine. This is the one day I
have to take off.
Speaker 6 (14:48):
I don't know that's funny.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Well, sorry to wake you up, but all right, I'll
let you be in no worries.
Speaker 3 (14:54):

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Listen anywhere with the iHeartRadio app Benest one of more
three micvam It's Valentine in the Morning. I had to talk,
had to. I got to. I got to talk at
Oaks Christian High School yesterday for the Institute of Arts
and Innovation, and I did a talk for the kids.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
I don't know how it came out. It's a blur.
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
It was like four hours long hours, wasn't They had
pizza the kids, some kids had sleeping bags. There was
intermission and we'll be back with this speaker in a second.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
I'm sure you did really well.
Speaker 1 (16:08):
I ended up singing Wicked and doing Shakespeare's as a
train Wreck. Wow.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
Really, I don't even know how it happened.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Like I went up there and uh Mary introduced me,
and I get up and I got like fifteen minutes
of like I don't know here I started in radio
when I was doing so, I became a police officer.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
I did do this, blah blah blah, and I'm like, how
much time do we have left? Like an hour and
a half?
Speaker 4 (16:30):
What?
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Oh my god?
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Any but he just walked in and want to hear
that again. So then it's opened up to Q and A.
Kids have great questions and stuff, but within those questions,
something went wrong. At one point, I had a couple
of nodders. I had a couple of kids yawning. You know,
it's high.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
School, right, it's hard to not take it personally.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
I did, Yes, I.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Went in hard and uh.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
One kid, a freshman who looking to be an actor,
because this particular part of this high school conscious and
kids that are in the performing arts world that really
want to do it for a living. They're like, odd,
this is my passion. I want to dance, I want
to sing, I want to be a filmmaker. I want
to be an animation person. It's like they really got
this program down and they put these kids in touch
with the right people. Except for me, I was a flyer.
(17:12):
So they learned from the best out there, right, And
it's great because you're in southern California, so Anyway, this
one kid, a freshman, wants to be an actor, like, oh,
that's great.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Man. Want to do film or do you want to stage?
What do you want to do?
Speaker 1 (17:22):
It's like a film and maybe stage we'll see. I'm like, oh,
now I'm acting like I know something like ah, well,
you know, the difference is between the stage and the camera.
On the stage, you must be demonstrative and you must
really set with your experience from that wood that you
stand upon the crowd. And then the film, of course,
just a raised eyebrow could mean so much on the camera,
(17:45):
and you don't have to be as demonstrative, you know,
in your actions. And then love towards love, like I
slipped right into it. Oh, I slip in the Shakespeare
and I go, do you know who that was?
Speaker 3 (17:55):
And I nail it?
Speaker 1 (17:55):
And he's like, uh, he's like Shankspeare And I'm asked
with watching Shakespeare and some other kids r me and Julia. Yes,
it's like the only play they even know right now.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
These are smart kids anymore.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
And then at some point then and I don't know
if you ever had this speak in front of high school,
at some point I lost it and I just started singing,
Dancing through Life, give me the surface gliding with surface
smooth and they clap and I'm like, that's not the
cool part. Hang on laps, fack.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
I would love to know what led up to the
Dancing through Life.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
I don't know. I know, I don't know. Honestly, it's
a blur. It's a blur. It was just like Q
and A and people ask if Ryan Roses is real
and what did you say? I told the truth. I
tell the truth. But there's so many like questions coming
at me and stuff like that, and and there are
good questions. I'd say ninety five percent questions are really
(18:47):
good questions. That's good.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
But I didn't have all the answers.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
What's see? What do you think the entertainment industry in
your field, in particular, how it interacts and the influence
that has is on the animation world. Oh, we just
some cartoons on our Instagram.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
I was not the right person.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Was not the right person there for a reason.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
They trying to figure it out right now.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
No, I'm sure you did really well.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
I'm sure the kids, these kids in that room though jail,
because it is southern California, it's Hollywood, right, and this
particular program they have at this high school. It's really
well known, ited really good. There are kids in that
room that will win Grammys, that will win accolades of
great account, and they'll never get up there and go
I like to thank the guy that did Dancing through
Life and Shakespeare. I don't know that second semester kickoff luncheon.
(19:37):
You don't know that. Maybe you gave them some Let's
call them now and ask see his kids if that's
the case. The one kid said he's writing a jingle
for us because he's in their Hocke color room for something.
I go, that's a jingle played on the air drive
John Pete crazy.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
I love that, so listen.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
I know we've mentioned that we're willing to come to
your high schools and speak to your students. I don't
know if that's a legit thing anymore. It was shutting
that down, you know. Jill said she had a couple
of nodders when she.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Did did definitely people fell asleep.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
A kid fell asleep.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah, but he was asleep like twenty seconds, and so
he came in tired. And that's okay, that's okay.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
I can't stop kids from fall yeah, it's not possible.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
The yawning does mess with you when you see those
big yawns coming in while you're mid sentence, because like.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Seventy kids in there. They're all right in front of me,
like from where you are to me, and I got
h and I'm like, I took her lives. But what
did you do the fight to yawns?
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Would you do? I just talked louder.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Oh, I just made eye contact with them, uh, and
just stayed with them for a little bit and smile.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Didn't watch their eyes. I did the pregnant pause thing too.
I'm known for that pregnant pause thing. And there was
one girl she looked like she might have like lost interest,
and I'm over there and I got like right in
her face and like the power of the spoken word.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
You got it, Yes, the power.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
Of the spoken word, the ability to tell a story,
the grasp bond of somebody's hot in the palm of
your hand. She's probably sleep or not.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
The power the pregnant pause.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
I've got this awful feeling though, like in my gut
that they must do like a survey at the end.
You know, how you ever get those monkey surveys and
what do you think of this speaker?
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (21:36):
It was fun though. I enjoyed it. I hope the
kids did too.
Speaker 7 (21:38):
I'm sure they did. I remember in high school when
people would come speak, I didn't care who it was.
I thought it was always cool to just see someone
in real life and the real profession. I'm gonna tell us.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
About it, right, I had to.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
It took me a few minutes to explain them what
radio was.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
No, they all listen. They love us. It was amazing.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Every kid raised her hand and said they listened for
the entertainment had lines like nons.

Now I having to explain all the Amazon packages.

Yeah, but you could be with someone who also orders
from Amazon a ton as well, maybe even more than
you do.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
That seems like you guys are gonna be broke. You
know what I did, Jillian, This is kind of funny.
If you're a big Amazon person, you like that and stuff.
I was speaking at my son's high school yesterday and
I wanted to have a clean pair of sneakers because
mine I just kind of ratty tatty right now. So
I overnighted a pair of sneakers to the house and
(40:17):
I was gonna run home put these clean sneakers on.
I didn't want to embarrass my kid with bad sneakers.
He's like, well that nobody cares, but it was just me.
So anyway, I got them delivered. But you know how
there's so many different addresses you can have on Amazon. Yes,
I made the mistake, had them delivered to my mom's
memory care center down the street. Okay, so they went
to the wrong place. They went to this senior living
center and so my mom was in an Alzheimer's unit
(40:39):
memory care center, and the shoes went there, and I
had like fifteen minutes to get them then get to
the high school. So I ziped down there. I'm like,
have you got these shoes? They're like, what? I accidentally
sent my sneakers here and then I need them for
a speech I'm giving.
Speaker 3 (40:51):
They're like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (40:53):
You get them?
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Well?
Speaker 3 (40:54):
I had to take them off my mom's feet.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
They came and they took the package back. There you go, Caila, Lucky,
got some nice new sneakers somebody sent you. Nobody noticed.
They're like size thirteen. So they put in. My mom's
got big feet too, put on my mom's feeding like,
take them up my mom's feet's like, what do you doing?
I go, I need these, mom, I'll be back later on.
So she ran around bear for the entire time.
Speaker 3 (41:14):
Util I got back. Oh true story, right, Jillian.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
Have you delivered into the wrong address?
Speaker 4 (41:21):
Yeah, yes, I have.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
It happens right, and you're like, oh man, that packet
is going well. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. How are you
going to celebrate as a single person.
Speaker 6 (41:31):

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Texted in and said, no unreasonable or unrealistic expectations from
your partner. I get to call the shots and I
can keep my video games, collectible toys, and comic books.
Kim said, no one hogging the covers, and Mia said,
when you're single, you can talk to someone of the
opposite sex without your boyfriend or husband sizing him up
and being insecure.
Speaker 3 (45:25):
Hey Anna, how are you doing today? I'm good, do
you I'll do it all right. So you're single?
Speaker 1 (45:30):
Huh yeah, all right, why don't you lay it on

Speaker 3 (45:35):

Speaker 1 (45:35):
How many years?
Speaker 8 (45:36):

Speaker 6 (45:56):
Moved in together.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
I think it's about time to tell you guys that
I have no news.
Speaker 6 (46:02):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
What's the best thing about being single?
Speaker 6 (46:06):
You don't have to ask permission to do anything?
Speaker 8 (46:09):
Yeah, even go on trips with your girlfriends.
Speaker 6 (46:11):
You don't have to worry about it.
Speaker 2 (46:16):
I've tried to realize how I'm trying to think of
how I want to phrase this. Are you asking for
permission or is it more of just like having to
tell someone what you're doing all the time.
Speaker 8 (46:27):
Well, like if you want it, you and your hat
to want to go somewhere, but then your girlfriends are.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
Like, oh no, we wanted to go there, So deciding
who to go with and yeah, I mean even in
a committed relationship, sometimes you have to ask permission.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
I'm asking I do too. Has me fill out a
permission to slip? I have to submit it and she
says of a five business says leven answer. Usually it's
routinely denied. All right, Hey, thanks Colin and I have

My FM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Taylor Lautner played a werewolf in the Twilight movies, and
now he is turning his back on his fellow werewolves
because Taylor will now play a fictionalized version of himself
in a new series called Taylor Latner Werewolf Hunter. The
premise of the show is that after wrapping the last
Twilight movie, Taylor is drawn into a secret society of
(47:33):
werewolf hunters and he must quote wrestle with the ultimate irony,
fighting the very creatures that made him famous. And the
producers are promising a balance of self aware humor and
genuine scares with this new Taylor Lotner series and Kenchrick
Lamar has performed at halftime of the Super Bowl Number Boys.
Speaker 5 (47:53):
Sort of fun.
Speaker 2 (47:59):
Movie after the America, Brave New World. It's going to
be in theaters tomorrow and it's star Anthony Mackie told
Entertainment tonight, Kendrick did the title song for my movie.
I hope that's not surprise, or I hope that's not
supposed to be a surprise. I'm bringing it here first.
I'm so excited the beauty and mastery of his craft,
so he said. Kendrick Lamar did the title song for
(48:20):

soundtracks before, so if this is true, I'm sure it is.

out tonight, so we will hear it very soon. I'm

Institute of Arts and Innovation. They've got a great program
over there and really really talented kids in that room.
You knew there's a future Grammy winner in that room.
There's an Oscar winner in that room. And it wasn't me,
but they were in that room. And I gave a
little speech to them about the entertainment industry, about the radio,
and apparently it was well received.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (49:41):
The reviews are in. The reviews are coming in. They
did a survey monkey and the kids are responding to it.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
They're letting us no.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
So, oh my god, I was so nervous. I started singing.

Speaker 1 (49:53):
I came so close. I came so close. I wanted
to play them my country music songs. But I'm like,

production sound production stuff. She's gonna produce songs. He's gonna
be that type of person, right, And she does that
there at the school. They have a whole big studio
set up. She does it at home. And I go,
do you ever do your own stuff? Because I'm a

little bit of a songwriter. It' still my own stuff.
But she produces her friends and stuff too.
Speaker 2 (50:17):
That's so cool. Wow, what talent. I know.
Speaker 3 (50:20):
I know she's a friend of college. They've known each
other for years.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
And at the very end though, one of the teachers
came up and said, hey, Molina says that she's a
she knows you, and she's a she's known you for years.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
Molina saying a rund next tohim, kind of smiling. I

about my dad. So Brian Burton's dad just texted in
I would have Brian speak at my high school. Sweet.
He gives me a little boost of confidency. He does,

and I can drive back to my house. But a
tangled web. Do you have a website force to check

Speaker 1 (58:48):
Three things you need to know experts her warning about
an increase in romance scammed this Valentine's.
Speaker 12 (58:56):
Day from sedan's and SUV's to full sized trucks. Experience
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified. Three
things you need to know right now, our right.
Speaker 1 (59:06):
It is eight nineteen, it's Valentin in the morning. This
is one of four to three MIFM today. An atmospheric
river will drop heavy rain out southern California. It's gonna
be very bad. The National Weather Services issued a flash
flood watch for most of La in Ventura County. If
you are a newer driver, most of you kids who
are driving in high school probably should be at high
school by now. But if you're still hearing me, please
be very careful and careful on the way home today
(59:28):
as well. Colin, I'm talking to you because this rain
is going to be problematic. Of course, is concerned about
the areas recently affected by wildfires too, and the evacuation
warnings are in place for those areas. In addition to
the heavy rain, powerful winds could bring down trees and
power lines. John Legends see the post from John Legend. No,
he said, you know, Christy and I talked about it again.
These fires, these rains and mud slides, he goes. We
(59:50):
often consider is it time to leave California? But we
just all love California so much, you know, these days
of you're like, I don't know. Experts are warning about
an increase in romance scams too this Valentine's Day. Over
the past year, criminals have gotten better at using artificial
intelligence to create realistic looking dating profiles. About twenty five
(01:00:13):
percent of people on dating apps have been approached by
an AI chatbot, and the people that fall for these
scams have lost thousands of dollars. You should never like,
as a rule of thumb, no matter how beautiful she is,
how gorgeous he is, how much you connect with anybody,
the minute somebody wants money on a dating app, you
should just get rid of that person. Yes, right, am?
Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
I right with that, es, especially if you guys have
not met in person, and even if they've tricked you
into offering it, like they're not asking for money, but
oh my whole family is suffering for a debilitating disease.
Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
I wish I had the money even if they don't, go,
can I have money? If there's any hint of somebody
needing money on a dating app, run the other way
tried and true.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
There it is.
Speaker 1 (01:00:54):

of a show. You should always feel welcome. This is
a very inclusive show. I don't want any to be
feeling like they're at a party standing in a corner.
You are always welcome with you're all time listener or
new you know, same thing, big open arms coming at
(01:03:04):
you now. If you want to text in three one
oh four to three, what's the unique thing that got
you a promotion at work?
Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
Becky texted in and said I was starting to look
for another job and posted about it in a group
on Facebook forgetting My boss was in the same group.
She pulled me into her office the next day. We
made a plan which ended with me switching buildings to
implement and head up a program at our other location
with a raise. So it got me a promotion, and
(01:03:31):
then Anahi said I left for maternity leave. When I
came back, my manager told me I got promoted. I
was the lead in my department. And apparently they suffered
while I was gone and promoted when I got back, all.
Speaker 3 (01:03:45):
Right, three one oh four to three.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
This is textas said, I get a promotion when they
fired somebody else because you probably assumed their job duties.
That's not the permission you walked though, right, three, one four,
three and one thousand bucks? Can you wait nine o'clock T.
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Next Valentine in the morning, one four.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Three eighty two. It is one of four to three,
my fam, that rain's gonna come down today, moderate heavy
rain throughout the day. Storm is gonna get worse mid
afternoon or early evening. That's known as your commute time boo. Also,
kids leaving school, pick up and drop off will be
bad today, you know, so I guess you're pick up.
(01:04:21):
You're not dropping off anyway. You know, want to talk
about this afternoon rains do come down hard, he said,
So at any point, if you guys want to reach
out and give us a rainy day song that we
should play, let us know. Certain artists can emote with
that rain coming down.
Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
Approl is one of them.
Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
Have you ever sat in your car, looked out the
window while it's raining and pretended like you were in
a music video? That is a rainy day song.
Speaker 3 (01:04:50):
Yes for.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
Work in catch me. I'm so proud of my son.
Yesterday I was walking into his car after school and
what are you gonna do? You headed home?
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
Now?
Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Because I had my car, he had his. It's a
weird vibe because uh might just take a nap in
the car.
Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
Like father, like son.
Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
I'm a car napper.
Speaker 1 (01:05:17):
Oh wow, boy, he said. It might take a nap
in the car because once you go in, you've got
stuff to do, right, Yeah, And sometimes I don't know
if you're like me, that little five to ten minutes
minute nap in the car before you go in to
the rest of your life, whether it's making dinner, paying bills,
doing whatever, or leaving work, you hop in your car
(01:05:38):
and take a little nap. Work against me.
Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
This guy, he's the best jump Mayre.
Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
This is my raindy day song. Oh this is yours
day because you don't care for this, but I think
this is a total rainy day song.
Speaker 1 (01:06:04):
Just picturing like a lady spinning round in a frilly
dressed in the church with candles.
Speaker 13 (01:06:09):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
Is that the music video?
Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
Okay baby?
Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
And now the sunlight's breaking through the clouds. Coming through
the same glass windows of the church, illuminating her, and
she drops to one knee and looks to the camera. Yeah,
I get the vite. Is this also the song you
used for a seance to burn your ex's stuff?
Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Oh, trying to get over an X?
Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
Yeah, you played this song while you burned pictures of
an ex.
Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
No, my best friend Jenna and I. I was having
trouble getting over a certain ex.
Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Hey, Nicole, okay, can you it was gonna finish the story?
I'm so sorry and they've been in holiday. It's super apologize.
So Jill's is finishing. Go ahead, Joe, Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
So I laid on her bedroom floor, closed my eyes,
and she put red rose petals around the outline of
my body. I crossed my arms over my chest and
put a red ribbon over my eyes, and we played
this whole song and I sang it, and then I
woke up from this trance and I was over them.
Speaker 7 (01:07:19):
It's interesting you say that, because I do feel like
this song gives curse. You know, it's very like this
is a witch song.
Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
Also, you're part of a coven.
Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
No, No, we were just at our WIT's end. I
couldn't get over it.
Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
Did you ever do some like that on the col.
Speaker 4 (01:07:36):
No?
Speaker 6 (01:07:36):
Not quite that intricate.
Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
Okay, this should be a topic one day, like what
did you do as a young lady to get over
an X? Did anybody else put rose petals around their body?
Put a red scarf over their eyes?
Speaker 3 (01:07:46):
Play this song? Lay on the floor, arms crossed.
Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
Yeah, it's like, ah, that's what I'm afraid of that stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
I'll say, when you're in the middle of it, you'll
try anything.
Speaker 4 (01:07:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
I couldn't take it anymore, assumed my brain.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
I know, but I would never go that crossing over
to the other side, asking spirits or special powers.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
It makes me nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Special powers involved. I was just singing along to a song.
Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
Did you get out? You were laying on the floor,
a rose pedals around you, You're blindfolded, something was going down, dude,
Why would you sacrifice somebody? All right, Nicole, back to you.
Let's get to what unique thing got you a promotion?
Speaker 3 (01:08:20):
At work?
Speaker 6 (01:08:22):
I asked my boss for a raise for my coworker
because she hadn't had one in a really long time.
She was afraid to talk to him, and so I
decided to go talk to him for her. And when
I did that, he ended up giving her a raise
and then gave me a big raise as well, which
(01:08:45):
I was not expecting.
Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
Wow, did he give you that raise?
Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
Right? Did you think he gave He gave you that
raise because you're advocating for other employees and he saw
the respect in that.
Speaker 13 (01:08:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:08:57):
He's a he's a good man, and I think you
talk to him, he delivers. But it's just I don't know.
Maybe he just felt like he had to give it
to us both. But I was more than grateful for it.
And I mean maybe he didn't because there are more
than two of us at work.
Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
So that's interesting though.
Speaker 1 (01:09:15):
Like honestly, if I went in and said to you know,
John Peak, you've heard the name before. If I went
in and said to John Peak, I think Brian works
really hard. I believe that Brian needs a raise. John
Peak would look at me and say, I don't give
us some of your money. Give some of your MONEYX
scenario I think has literally time, let's turn you upside
(01:09:36):
down and shake you. Zeo falls out of your pockets.
You know, Nicole, that's a great story.
Speaker 6 (01:09:43):
Yeah, he's super old school, and so everyone's afraid to
talk to him. But I've got a big mouth and
so I wasn't afraid to open it.
Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
All right, We're gonna send you in the John Peaks
office for us.
Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
Okay, all right, I'm good.
Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
I'll work on that, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:09:58):
You take care. Christ They call her the Seance Jim No,
I guess and my bam, it's Valentine in the morning,
rainy dave vibes. What's your feel right? Reach out? Give
(01:10:18):
us the feels that your song three one oh four three?
Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
This is Brian's damn hug fold over you rat.
Speaker 1 (01:10:31):
You don't know, you don't know the songs in the movie,
same old sign. I know it from you? Okay, what
a jam? Songs create vibes. Why are you making a face?
Speaker 2 (01:10:45):
I'm smiling.
Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
I think you're laughing at me.
Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
Because every time you and I are in a car together, yeah,
would we go, you know, to Toyota or something.
Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
Whatever we're doing, we're doing the work things.
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
Yeah, and we're together in the car.
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
Because we're not friends otherwise.
Speaker 1 (01:10:59):
Yeah, I'm trying to.
Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
Think of why we would be in a car for
a long period of time together. You played me this
song always at the very end, the little twist at.
Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
The end with the snow turns. The rain gets me
every time. The cold November rain guns and roses again, rain.
Speaker 2 (01:11:36):
Medium, super flat.
Speaker 1 (01:11:39):
So here we go.
Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
This is actually mine medium super miss it, miss it,
miss it Ellie.
Speaker 1 (01:11:49):

we should?
Speaker 5 (01:11:53):

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
All going.
Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
I thought that's what we all agreed two months ago.
Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
Then we all forgot.
Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
I already bought my tickets. I have coach tickets already.
I'm on the payment plan. You bought us tickets? No, Oh,

give you a vibe with the rains coming down.

Speaker 1 (01:20:04):

Speaker 2 (01:20:44):
Okay, well, yeah, that's where I bet.
Speaker 3 (01:20:45):
That street teamer Riley took it.
Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
I bet she did. She looked like she like soaps,
you know what you mean? Somebody looks like they like soaps.
Each of us specifically, you had like man sense people. Hey,
people use ax body spray for who knows?
Speaker 2 (01:21:00):
And Riley always smells very fresh.
Speaker 1 (01:21:01):
So really, it's how do you know that?
Speaker 3 (01:21:05):
John?
Speaker 1 (01:21:05):

When Harry Matt Sally. But we try and do a
craft with it too. But I can't pay attention to
two things at once, so like I was painting a picture.
Speaker 1 (01:22:14):
I have no idea what the movie is. Why are
you painting a picture when you're watching a movie?
Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
She does that.
Speaker 1 (01:22:17):
She loves to have craft nights, like we can't just
watch a movie like we have to also have a
forget about craft nights. It's too difficult for me. You
can't paint a picture and watch a movie at the
same time. That's what I've been saying this whole time.
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:22:29):
