Defining yourself through the power of I AM Don’t ’change’ your life, ’choose’ your life!
Imagine this, you have just been told you have 24 hours to live. No extensions. No negotiations. The clock is ticking. Suddenly, everything you thought you’d do ‘someday’ disappears. The self you were waiting to ‘change' into is gone and you only have right now.
"The future is an illusion until it arrives, and when the future arrives, you will still only be able to live it today, not tomorrow. You see, 'Change' wants you to wait for the future, 'Change' doesn't believe in now. But 'Choosing' gives you the power to live your future today."
Life is not about what you want to change or where you hope to be, life is about the decision sitting in front of you right now. And the reason this matters is because every time you avoid a choice, you’re wiring your brain to stay stuck. What Choice are you avoiding?
Here’s the truth you may not want to hear: The pain you bear often comes from the change you seek. Why? Because change always puts you in waiting. It says, “When I finally change, then I’ll be who I want to be.” But waiting keeps you stuck in the very pain you want to escape.
For generations, we’ve been told the same story: You must change your life in order to advance. Change your habits. Change your mindset. Change your circumstances.
But here’s the truth: change has always been a lie.
When you 'Choose' you are commanding a now. When you attempt to 'Change' you command a tomorrow.
We call things ‘habits’ like they’re harmless routines; brushing your teeth, scrolling your phone, always running late. But the truth is this: a habit is not just behavior. A habit is a command. A survival mechanism your identity uses to keep itself alive.
We’ve all heard it. Someone says, “This is going to change my life.”
And every time, I cringe.
Because I know what’s about to happen.
You’re not cursed. You’re not stuck. Life isn’t against you—it’s reflecting you. In this episode, I break down how your identity—your “I AM”—shapes your experiences. The patterns you keep running into aren’t punishment... they’re feedback. Once you stop trying to change your life and start choosing who you are, everything shifts. Let’s explore how to reclaim your power—no change required.
Think about this
When are you living? Yesterday, Now or tomorrow?
Which one of these do you have control over?
Which one of these holds you back?
"Now" refers to the present moment—the point in time that is happening right at this instant. It’s the only moment you can truly experience and act upon because the past is already gone, and the future hasn’t arrived. You can control now.
Why are you always angry at everything, or, conversely, why are you always positive and happy? The body, in essence, becomes the mind, the triggering chemicals produced in the body are orchestrated by your thoughts. What you think triggers specific neural and hormonal responses, leading the body to manufacture chemicals that align with and reinforce those thoughts. This means your beliefs and mental focus shape your emotional state...
Just for a moment have you tried to change and been absolutely frustrated?
Just for a moment have you ever thought that personal change was a futile attempt?
Just for a moment have you ever thought that we are not meant to change..but meant to BE?
Today, we're diving deep into a topic that has shaped societies throughout history:
Government Leadership and the control of….'Choices.'
Governments and leadership already know that the power is in not controlling the idea of 'Change' but in the power of controlling 'Choices.'
Have you ever done something you knew you shouldn’t have, then immediately asked yourself, “Why did I just do that? I know better!” You tell yourself, “I don’t act like that. I never act like that. So why now?”
We then berate and beat ourselves for doing what we know we should not be doing, yet we did it anyway, wondering why we repeat behaviors that lead us nowhere.
Why? Why do we tend to conduct a ritual that we know is detriment...
We have all told someone this or have been told ourselves, "Why are you so lazy?"
But what is actually behind the word lazy?
We are transfixed on the term only as the unwillingness to get up and move, but there is more to this.
New Year's Resolutions start on January 1, but what happens to most of them on January 17 and why?
Does Motivation Work? We think it does; we hope it does because we all initially react the same way. It is that burst of an external stimulant that reacts to our internal identity. But now that it has been presented to us, what will we do with it?
Choose Your Life Poem
Trying to 'change' your life is a Sisyphean Chore, a never ending battle, a constant chore.
The Sisyphean chore refers to a task or labor that is seemingly endless, futile, and repetitive. It is named after Sisyphus, a figure from Greek mythology. According to the myth, Sisyphus was condemned by the gods to roll a heavy boulder up a hill, but just as he neared the summit, the boulder would roll back down, for...
We go through life without fully understanding what is controlling our lives. We struggle with the emotions of not obtaining what we desire or becoming who we should truly be. What is controlling your life? Your mechanics, which are built by emotions
I don't know who I am anymore. What am I supposed to be doing with my life? I am lost. Where am I going? Why can't I find my path?
At some point in life, we will all enter a period of an identity crisis. Is it a crisis, or is it a time of discovery?
