NYPD Officer Jose Castellanos, is now a Venice High School Resource Officer. On September 11, 2001, Jose responosed to the terrorist attacks on The World Trade Center, in NYC. He shares with Maverick what that day was like, as well as the months after, as he contiuned to help in the recovery efforts in NYC. Jose also shares his thoughts, on that day, all these years later. Lt. John Kost - Sarasota County Sheriff's Office - was one of the local leads in protecting President Bush, while he was in Sarasota on September 11, 2001. Now Retired, Lt. Kost shares with Maverick, what it was like being with the President that day. He also shares how quickly we learned about the connection Venice had to the terrorists learning how to fly planes.
