Jubils dirty little Secret.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hello, Hello, Hey, you have a dirty little secret?

Speaker 1 (00:07):
I do. This one is kind of old. I was
kind of old. So I'm almost forty, and I've kind
of been discovering piece of it for since I was
about five years old. What is it? So? I grew
up in partially in the Soviet Union, and their divorce
was kind of a dirty secret, and so not all

(00:28):
families told their kids, like if a dad had a
family before and was divorced, like they didn't usually tell
their kids. I was a pretty early reader, and at
five years old, when my parents weren't home, I went
through my dad's desk and like started reading all his documents.
I found yeah, and I found out that he had
been divorced. I found out the name of his ex wife.

(00:51):
I wasn't sure if he had kids, though I thought
he might, and like he never told me, right, and
so kind of over the years I started discovering like
or pieces of this, And about maybe ten years ago
I kind of confronted my mom My Mama's corking me,
and she was like, oh, yeah, yeah, he's divorced. His
ex wife lives in the other country and he has

(01:13):
a son. But it's probably not his. He wasn't sure,
but yeah, I'm like, oh, so I have a step brother,
and my mom was like, maybe, but it's probably not.
So then passed forward a couple more years. So two
years ago, I lost my grandpa and kind of so
I heard a little bit more from him right before
he died. So yeah, so I have a step brother
who I never met, who lives kind of far away,

(01:35):
but he is about five years older than me. But yeah,
now I talked about this with my dad. He never
shared this. Yeah, so he's not a step he's your
half brother, half brother. Yeah, have brother. I found his
profile on Facebook. He looks like my dad. Oh, he
does something very similar in his life to what my
dad and I do. He's like a PhD just like

(01:57):
my dad. I'm not, but you know, the smart guy. Congrats.
I hear about this happening a lot. Yeah, congrats, you
have a new sibling.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah as long as.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah, that's congrats, thank you. Yeah. I think my dad
and his ex wife had a really bad relationship and
that kind of affected him over his life and that's
why he never shared it. So I haven't talked to
him about it yet. Like I don't feel comfortable. But yeah,
like I've been discovering this dirty little secret for the
past uh thirty five years. Wow, that's nuts. That is

(02:27):
a wild conversation. Yeah, hey, what's up?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
So I heard your my brother?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah you never planned to reach out to her? I might. Yeah.
I think he's even more geeky than I am. So
he's like all into his work. So that might be
why he never reached out to me. I don't know
if he ever found me, So I'll probably reach out
to him, like I'll find a good moment and I'll
write to him on Facebook at some point.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I tell you, it is awkward though, because I've found
two half sisters and the first hello is hey, so
we're actually blood related and dime your brother, and they're like,
always wanted an older brother, You've always had one a
little bit here and there. It's awkward, man, Yeah, what

(03:08):
are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
I like to do. It's random people on the internet.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
What well, thank you for selling est your dirty little secret.
Good lucky guys.
