the pot is so low. Like Darley and you were

I lo it.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Okay, I want to do it again because my one.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Year just ended.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
It's for the love of the game right now, Yeah, no,
I get it.
Speaker 5 (00:59):
I just you know, of the game, I was up
against ten thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Oh, okay, I didn't go from that to that.
Speaker 6 (01:07):
I didn't hit the fire round.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
And blah blah blah. Pam Anderson didn't get nominated for
an oscar and she said, I always say.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
The win is in the work. Yeah, all right, you
know the win is in the game.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Sure, yeah, But what about if your brother is an
Eagle and you're a Chief and then the Eagles and
the Chiefs are you gonna play less than two weeks
from now February ninth and New Orleans? Anyway, Jason Kelsey
picked a side.
Speaker 7 (01:31):
I will root for.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
The Eagles, of course, because I will always be an
Eagles such book, first and foremost, first and foremost.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
I'll also root for Travis to have a good game,
of course because it's my brother. But no, I'll definitely
be cheering.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
On the Eagles. Good luck to your Eagles.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
That's the end of that question. WHOA I'm with Jason?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
You you would really take your former team, which you oh,
which have a family that no allegiance star.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Yes, I was a football player too.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
But these guys are traded all the time. They don't bleed.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
These Colors and he retired.
Speaker 5 (02:03):
Jason's not gonna make anything out of it. And get this,
Travis is like the hot brother. He got all the
attention all these years, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
So it's a revenge pick.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
No, it's like, yeah, I want my team to win,
but have a great game.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
Love you, Bromm.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
I just think blood is thicker than eagle greens. Not
in sports.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
You're around everywhere elmks go you. She's gone up, Grandpa.
Speaker 8 (02:29):
Hold no, Ellen came on, shot, Ellen came on, Shot up.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Justin Valdoni and Blake Lively equals ugly. It's a ugly
court battle, a pre trial coming up. Valdoni wants it
to go to trial and at two in the morning,
during filming of it ends with us with us, he
left a voicemail for Blake and it's gone viral and
we're gonna share it with you. You coming up. I
(03:01):
love his deep voice. He's got a beautiful voice. You'll
hear it.
Speaker 9 (03:03):
Next post one of three point five The ellen K
Morning Show follow ad Official ellen Ka host one of
three point five Inside Entertainment with ellen K.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
All Right, there's a guy. His name is Ben Winston.
He produces the Grammys. He'll be on our show this morning,
and then this is just out, so we need to
be able to ask Ben if it's true. So Beyonce
will beat the Grammys, Taylor Swift, and then a very
special guest will attend but not necessarily perform.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
So there are a lot of guesses.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Some are saying it might be Drake or the Weekend
breaking their boycott of the Grammys, that Ben got through
to them and just talked some sense in him and said, look,
we're a music community, let's come together. We're helping wildfire victims.
Just come please, So it might be one of them,
And who would be a bigger guest right now than
Beyonce and Taylor Swift. The rumor is that it's Bob Dylan.
(03:59):
So I know I'm not supposed to.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
Ask Ben, how are you going to ask that?
Speaker 2 (04:04):
I think I should say so at the end of
the interview, Yeah, yeah, what song is Bob Dylan going
to prefer?
Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Back from New Corner, CBS Grammy's This Sunday from La
Trevor Noah is your host. All right, So Rihanna is
considering appearing in the LA Court during the criminal trial
of her boyfriend asap Rocky to show support. Rihann was
mentioned numerous times as lawyers conducted jury selection, as attorneys
asked potential jurors if they were fans of Rihanna or
(04:34):
bought items from Fenti, her fashion brand. Sources say it's
unlikely that she'll appear in court today, but she will
probably make an appearance later on in the week. Being
a celebrity and a mother too, she could have an
influence on a jury for sure. All right, let's talk
about this justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. He released a
seven minute middle of the night phone call that he
(04:57):
made to Blake after going over script rights. She had
rewritten the ending. He didn't love it, didn't react well
to it, and then left this.
Speaker 10 (05:06):
I for sure fell short and you worked really hard
on that and the way you framed it and and
how that made you feel. And I just want to
say thank you for sharing that with me.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
He sounds like Penn Badgeley and you, oh yes, and
like a therapist. Yeah, we hear a little of that again.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
I love his voice, and let'ten how clear this voice.
Speaker 10 (05:32):
Notice, I for sure fell short and you worked really
hard on that and the way you framed it and
how that made you feel. And I just want to
say thank you for sharing that with me.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Come on, this is what actors do. It was how
at two am.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
This is how he ended the call. I'm sorry. You
probably have kids all over you and a baby on
your boob and you're listening to me ramble. Yeah, so yeah.
Seven minutes of that. Baldoni's attorney, Brian Friedman, says that
Baldoni wants to be totally transparent and released all text
emails and voice messages between Justin and Blake. Blake's attorneys
(06:13):
want the judge to put a muzzle on Friedman. So
it's it's just this really big and ugly. This is
going to be the courtroom? Is it?
Speaker 7 (06:19):
Me?
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Am I the drama. I don't think I'm the drama.
Speaker 10 (06:23):
Maybe I am am I the fella in I don't
think I'm the fella.

Or whatever your store is, it makes it feel good.
Maybe it's the Dollar Store. Maybe it's a home depot.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
I know you've been known to crush a few hours
and home Goods just wandering easy.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
You know you got the trifecta here in studio city.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Talk about it.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Home Goods, Michael's upstairs and then Marshall's on the corner.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
I mean, it's the Bermuda Triangle. Get lost, never coming out?
Speaker 2 (09:01):
It is my husband. I called them. I'm like, look,
I'm just gonna run into home. It's for a minute,
and like two hours later he texts me, he goes,
where are you?
Speaker 1 (09:09):
I haven't left? Still here, buddy, still here.
Speaker 6 (09:12):
I have one of those corners too.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
It's a five below old Navy antillist.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Oh, forget it, we need to do a field trip.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Well, that brings us to this your happiness heck for life.
So science, not opinion, not your feeling, has officially proven
that retail therapy makes us feel happier. So I mean,
like a retailing champ. Ellen that you are and are
you already assumed this was the case. But the new
data does find that it releases your happy hormones, dopamine, serotonin,
all the endorphins, those good chemicals, the same reaction that
(09:41):
happens when we kiss someone we.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Love, or eat a good meal, or go to a concert.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
A doctor who worked on this set it actually starts
before you even go to the store. Just thinking of
going to the store begins the journey of the surge.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
I know how you can even make it a bonus.
Yeah when you find a deal, Oh yeah, when you find.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
A deal, it's like, oh, I need.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
To keep looking.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
It's so true that you said that, and I was.
That brings to the next point. It gives you a
sense of control. So it's like, if you feel like
you're kind of out of control in life, finding that
deal makes you feel like you're autonomous over your own environment.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
And you know, like more than ever right now, because
so many uncontrollable things have happened. We can go control things.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
You can't say marshals without a smile. You can't.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Okay, I'm gonna take us back.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
A couple of years ago, there was a we had
a situation in the studio that Ellen and I and
Darr didn't love.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
What was Ellen's first reaction, Dar? What did she do? Immediately?
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Yeah, Oh my gosh, I went to Zappos.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Everybody's getting shoo.
Speaker 6 (10:39):
Feel good is coming up?
Speaker 9 (10:41):
Any llen K Morning Show? Coast one O three point five.
It's the Ellen K Morning Show.
Speaker 12 (10:46):
So good this morning.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
Thank you, Coast one O three point by top Stories,
top of the hour.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Good morning, I'm Ellen K. And for the first time
in three weeks, all Palisades's residents are now allowed to
return home, or in some cases, to the site of
their former home. Most residents will still need police escorts
and have the proper ppe because of the surrounding toxins.
Still a six pm curfew, but as of this moment,
there are no orders preventing anyone from going back. Starbucks
(11:15):
just rolled out a new free refill policy, anyone who
dines or drinks inside will get comp phillips on hot
or iced coffee and tease not bad. It does, however,
exclude cold brew, nitro and refreshers. Oh in the Starby's
condiment bar is back creamer, milk sweeteners. The whole shebang.
New CEO Brian Nicole says he wants to recapture the
community coffeehouse feeling his words that Starbucks used to have
(11:38):
and to talk about a shock to the system. Zapping
yourself in an electrical muscle stimulation device during resistance training
can lead to greater muscle mass and strength improvement compared
to just weightlifting alone, according to new research from the
European Journal of Applied Physiology. They say, hey, zap it
to get jacked, Thank of a rhyme for that? And
(11:58):
do you have an Earth when in fire? T shirt?
These bands have the most valuable shirts. According to a
study on band tees. They found that number three Earth,
Wind and Fire. If you have one of those original
T shirts, it's forth two hundred and thirty five dollars.
Number two Red Hot Chili Peppers. Have one of those
in your closet or your drawer it's two hundred and
forty one dollars and number one. If you have this
(12:19):
T shirt, it's worth two hundred and eighty bucks. It
is an original Nirvana T shirt and mostly sunny cool
for your Tuesday with tempts not even touch in sixty
a warming trend arriving tomorrow. We're inching up to the
seventies by the weekend. Glendor fifty five for your high Glendale,
you'll see fifty five as well, and it's forty five
in Burbank. Thanks for making us your preset on the
(12:42):
iHeartRadio app. You run on Celsia's energy doing this. It's

Speaker 12 (13:07):

Speaker 6 (13:10):
Coast one oh three point five, gun Stefani and No
Doubt will be performing Thursday, Fire eight and there she
is on Coast one not three point five.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
And then she's flying out to Abu Dhabi. I love
saying Abu Dhabi.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
It is fun to say, did you see this?
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Is another fun one. Ed Sharon was the first artist
to ever perform in Bhutan. Really, yeah, Bhutan is very mountainous.
And I only know about Bhutan because well two people.
One of my son's friends went to Bhutan with her family.
They did a hiking excursion. There are a lot of
monasteries there built into you know, the ancient mountains, and
(13:46):
it's just gorgeous. But you have to get a traveler's
visa to even go. You have to be approved, so
you have to you have to apply for it, like
a year in advance for Bhutan to let you in
because they don't want to overrun with tourists, so they
have to control hum any. And it's not like who
you are, it's just how many So then if you
get in early, it's like waiting in line to get
into a hot club. But Ed Sheerlin performed in Bhutan,
(14:10):
so I thought that was pretty cool. I'd never really,
it wasn't on my radar until Calvin's friend went there.
And then there are courtyceps and those are these.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
All those mushroom things?
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Right? Well, they're actually worms, dried worms courdyceps.
Speaker 4 (14:23):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
And then you they're from Bhutan, They're from thirty five
hundred feet and above. And they drive them and then
you eat them.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
It sounds like an ancient bug or something.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
Yeah, that's that. Remember that show with Pedro Pascal, the
names of Escape. Yeah, aceps, that fungus that fun okay,
infected everyone's brains.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Oh that's right. Yeah, all right, Well there you go,
Bhutan and a dabi okay. So uh. The the man
who puts the Grammys together is coming on with us
this morning. His name is Ben Winston. I'll get him
on a little bit. Katie Perry with your l KQ
and A is coming up. We're going to send you
on the Lifetime's Tour, her first tour in seven years.
(15:05):
And it's also talkback Tuesday. We're still getting talkbacks about
our letter from Danielle. I read the letter last week.
Your letters to Ellen. Danielle said she's living at home,
paying rent and she has a curfew. No boys are allowed. Well, Samantha,
thank you for caring for Danielle.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
She left us this as a parent of a twenty
one year old. Also, I mean, I agree with the
curfew and you know their house and their rules. I
agree with everything, but you know, she is paying rent.
The only part that has me butted is the fact
that they were going away and she had to find
she had to go somewhere else to screen. So why
(15:44):
is she paying rent and has to go somewhere else
when they went out at tongue. So that's my that's
my take on it. They should have been a little
more considerate parents for not you know.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Yeah, all right, thank you Samantha for that talkback. Danielle
living at home have a hard time dealing with the
overbearing parents or are the parents in the right and
thanks for your talkbacks. All you do is go to
the iHeart app. There's a microphone, you press it. You're
in our studio. Okay. Oh we also have a big
surprise at nine am announcement this morning. Oh yeah, set
(16:16):
an alarm. This is huge and you don't want to
miss it. Okay. Plus your cash on Coast is next.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
They are sixteen already, Octomom. I don't know how you
did it.
Speaker 12 (19:42):
I don't know. You know, it's funny. When I was
pregnant with my kids, you know, it was amazing that
sensation of feeling them kick, and then I thought about
Octomom and having eight.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Yeah, it's like a rugby team. Yeah, beating me up

No, I appreciate you. Guys made my morning, You make ours.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Be in there and you just want Katy Perry the
Lifetimes tour tickets before you can buy them. Yeah, more
people buy gas on a Tuesday than any other day
of the week. Katy Perry was here not too long ago.
She showld us about going. I'll buy owl aisle in
a hat and no makeup through Trader Joe's. The Trader
Joe's Food Awards are out too, Ryan, ooh, yeah. Some
(21:50):
of our favorites that are there. Some of these things
I'd never heard of before, but I know that Katy
Perry has so some of the most popular. The cashell
blue cheese, Irish potato chips.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
What I need that immediately.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
The teeny tiny avocados because sometimes you cut a big
one and you only eat half of it. Anyway, we'll
get into more of those later. Katie also told us,
but she did recently. She was jet lagged and hungry.
Speaker 14 (22:23):
I didn't want to get something crappy to eat, so
we went to this little corner market store and we
got two avocados and an apple and sat on a
on a bench outside of the corner market store, opened
our avocados with the plastic spoons ate them there and
we're like, wow, we don't even have condiments for this avocado,
(22:44):
but I needed.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
I was getting so hungry.
Speaker 14 (22:46):
But it's so normal, and that's what I'm normal, and
that's what I love is just like I love It's.
Speaker 6 (22:52):
The L and K Morning show. I wake up to
your station, I work out to your station.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
I listened to it throughout the day, and I go
to bed listening to it.
Speaker 11 (23:01):
Thank you for all that you do.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
You guys are absolutely the.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
Best host one oh three point five and Top.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Stories Top of the Hour, Good Morning of ellen k.
Costco making waves this morning for a major change to
its famous food court. They're switching from Pepsi to Coke
and that is the end of a twelve year relationship.
It was aimed at cost reduction to preserve the dollar
fifty hot dog soda combo that was the move to
go with Pepsi. Today, Costco says they've pulled members and
(23:28):
found that nearly ninety percent of them one in Coca
Cola products, So they're doing it all right. We're lessening
a week away from Groundhog Day and PETA is suggesting
a significant change to the old gobbler's knob tradition. Instead
of punk Satani Phil coming out of his burrow, the
Animal Rights Org is calling instead for a vegan weather cake.
Think gender reveal. Blue cake means six more weeks of winter,
(23:48):
pink is an early spring. It's not the first time
PETA's proposed changes last year, they wanted a coin flip.
Before that, they suggested planting seeds to see if they've
sprouted so far. Noward back from the groundhog, folks on
the cake and hey, big salute to the guys in
Blink one. They're playing a one night only benefit concert
at the Palladium. Every penny we'll go to local relief organizations.
(24:10):
February thirteenth. Tickets sold out in less than an hour,
Mark Tom and Travis donating all proceeds to the Pasadena
Humane Society, the LAFD Foundation, and cal Firefund. That is
really great. Mostly Sunday cool for your Tuesday time's not
even touched in sixty. We go up to seventy by
the weekend. We're going to kind of inch our way.
There highs today almost everywhere up to about fifty five
(24:32):
and it's only forty five here in Burbank. We run
on Celsia's energy drinks. It's kost Angelus Coast one on
three point five, coming up more cash on Coast and
Ben Winston from the Grammys tell us all we hope here.
Speaker 15 (24:48):
Every time you come around in noa con say no.
Every time the sun goes down, I'll let you take come.
Speaker 6 (25:00):
It's the L and K Morning Show.
Speaker 7 (25:02):
Oh my god, you guys are amazing.
Speaker 12 (25:04):
You make my day, you make my morning and I
love you all.
Speaker 6 (25:08):
Coast one oh three point.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Five we are the only K Morning show. It's Coast
one of three point five. Big Big night, Music's biggest
night only CBS coming up to Sunday.
Speaker 11 (25:22):
So many.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Huge acts, collaborations, appearances, presenters. We go live now to
the Belly of the Beast. Talk to executive producer Ben Winston.
All right, Ben, so we know there are going to
be a lot of Grammy surprises. You can't tell us
(25:45):
all of them, but what can you tell us about
the Grammys.
Speaker 11 (25:48):
Well, I think it's going to be a really amazing night.
I think there's some incredible music performances that we've got planned,
really phenomenal from people you've burst onto the scene this year,
like Sabrina Carpent's and Chapel Row and from La Finus,
like Billie Eil. She seems like she's this Brammy's icon
and then you remember she's only twenty three. But music
(26:09):
that feels like it's timeless. We have some incredible artists
that we haven't yet announced, but are or you know,
we're going to tell you about them, and as we
get closer to the weekend, and then there's also, of course,
you know, addressing and dealing with the tragedy that we've
all seen in Los Angeles with the wildfires, and you know,
(26:30):
both doing a little bit of fundraising for that and
do a little bit of good, but also paying tribute
to this great city of ours and celebrating it somewhat too.
And I think all of those elements will come together
on Sunday night for a real, spectacularly exciting show.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
It sounds, it sounds heartwarming, and I love the way
the community is coming together and our music artists. I mean,
I cried so hard when I saw Diane Warren's place
burned to the ground in Malibu where she wrote all
those songs, and you know, just so many artists displaced.
So it's going to be emotional and amazing. You mentioned
as we get closer to the weekend, and I saw
(27:10):
something in the press this morning that said that he
was rumored to be possibly on your show.
Speaker 11 (27:17):
Oh I did not see that.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
We would also like to know what song is Bob
Dylan performing Just a few of the things floating out there, Ben.
Speaker 11 (27:35):
So what's out there right now? Sorry Dylan, Yeah, this
is what's out there this morning.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
Okay. So it says Beyonce and Taylor Swift and a
very special secret guest could be Bob Dylan, maybe Drake
or the Weekend will break their boycott or the Grammys,
and who's bigger right now than Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
It would have to be Bob Dylan. That's what this
article says.
Speaker 11 (28:00):
Okay, Well even my wife wouldn't know, so and so
that's a great article. That's a great article. Now listen,
you know what I We did reach out to Bob Dylan.
Actually this year we did. We reached out to Bob Dylan,
and we did. I did have an idea that I
(28:23):
wanted him to do. I'll be honest. We never heard back,
but you never know, maybe I'll just show up and
do it.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yes, I heard. He's that kind of guy.
Speaker 11 (28:32):
Too, exactly exactly, So you never know. We've got some
great things planned. And part of the reason we keep
surprises back like that is. Part of it is because
we want to keep people excited, but part of it
is because it isn't confirmed yet. Yeah, it's part of
it as well. It's like, you know, people think that
these things are all locked up with weeks ago. It's
(28:53):
just not the way it works. So yeah, we'll be
working right up to the last minute to make sure
that the show's as good as it can.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
We'll be watching ben CBS on Sunday. Can't wait.
Speaker 11 (29:04):
Thank you so much, guys.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Nice to speak to you and you okay, So we
have Grammy tickets for you. Tomorrow. We have a pair
of Grammy tickets. The Grammys is Sunday on CBS, and
so tomorrow we're going to qualify you all throughout the
morning and then we will make the drawing at nine ten.
So tomorrow, if you want to go to the Grammys,
be here with us all morning long. You will listen
for this, and the.
Speaker 6 (29:26):
Grammy goes too, and the Grammy goes.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
To and the Grammy goes soon and that's when you
will be called twenty. So be listening for and the
Grammy goes to. All tomorrow morning, we'll qualify you and
then we'll random We put every name in a hat
and Ryan will draw it nine ten. Can't Wait for
the Grammys, Music's biggest night all right, coming up.

Hi Ellen, good morning. I was evacuated in the Eaton fire.
Luckily our home was spared, and just recently we were
able to go back and just see what remains around
our home. However, I ran into the most handsome firefighter,
and although I'm a married woman, I have to say
I just can't stop thinking about him.
Speaker 6 (30:48):
I don't know what to do.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
What should I do?
Speaker 8 (30:49):
Can you help me out? Thanks so much?
Speaker 2 (30:52):
It's like, can't help me out, thanks so much? Anything?
What should she do? Well?
Speaker 16 (30:59):
Nothing, well, nothing, absolutely nothing, And it just in a
gracious gesture, ask this handsome firefighter if there's anything he needs.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
Chances are he may have a family also. Sorry, our
printer's going off. He might have a family also, and
you know, maybe he needs some dinner cooked or some
baked goods. No, it could be.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
She sounds like trouble. She was breathless at the end.
Speaker 6 (31:26):
What do we do?
Speaker 2 (31:27):
How do I? But there are I mean, you've seen
them on TV, these first responders and firefighters.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
She should buy her husband a firefighter outfit.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
Keep those top facks coming past one.
Speaker 6 (31:40):

This list came out this morning the most famous celebrities
on Instagram. Here's the top five. First, Ryan, give me
a guess. Who do you think would be in the
top five?
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Gosh, oh gosh, Rinaldo.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
Oh okay, the Rock These are great guesses. Okay, Ryan Reynolds,
Oh okay, Ryan Reynolds is not in the top twenty. Sorry, Mike,
I'm a fan. But at number five Kylie Jenner. Number
(32:29):
four Dwayne Johnson The Rock He has to be up there.
Number three Selena Gomez four hundred and twenty two million followers.
Number two is Lionel Messi five hundred and five million
followers on Instagram huh and the most famous with six
hundred and forty eight million followers, Christiano Ronaldo. Selena Gomez,
(32:53):
And at number three, she posted a video of herself
sobbing about people being deported. She ended up taking it down,
but we caught it before that. Maybe people are getting
tact children. I don't understand. I'm so sorry.
Speaker 14 (33:14):
I wish I could do something.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
I don't know what did.

for making everybody smile every day, no matter what the circumstance.
So thank you.
Speaker 6 (33:34):
Past one o three point five. You ever wake up to.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
A long voice message from you know, friend, family member.
It happened two in the morning for Blake Lively just
lept through it. But Justin Baldoni left her a seven
minute voicemail and he's released it to the media. Uh,
(33:57):
because he wants full transparency. As you know, they're suing
each other for huge sums of money. A trial date
was set early this morning. It's going to be March
twenty twenty six. There will be a pre trial all
this stuff. But in case you haven't seen the movie
or heard about it, it Ends with Us is a
great movie. It costs twenty five million dollars to make.
It made two hundred million and counting. Justin Baldoni created it,
(34:23):
he directed it, wrote it, and he got in an
argument with Blake Lively because she wanted him to do
her rewrite for the ending. It's a pivotal scene. So
Justin called her in the middle of the night, left
this message and he's praising her rewrites, also referencing Taylor
(34:44):
Swift and Ryan Reynolds being in her corner, the two.
Speaker 10 (34:47):
Of the most creative people on the planet. The three
of you guys together, it's unbelievable. Talk about energy and
just to force all three of you. But I just
wanted you to know that I didn't need that because
it's really good and it's gonna make the movies sing.
Speaker 1 (35:02):
Like you said, I love his voice.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Yeah, but he sounds like he's reading lines. I got
nothing sincere from that. Oh yeah, I'm serious. Sounded like
an actor.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
Ellen.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
I just I'm gonna say you that. I know tough
stories are coming up, and I just think you just
to do such a beautiful job with your voice. It's
gonna sing.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
I like it coming.
Speaker 9 (35:26):
Take the ellen K Morning Show with you.
Speaker 6 (35:28):

Top Stories, Top of the Hour, Good Morning, I'm ellen
K and President Donald Trump discussed a possible deal for
Microsoft to buy TikTok. While speaking with reporters he was
on Air Force one. He said yes when asked whether
Microsoft was in discussions to acquire the social media app.
He said a lot of interest in TikTok, and was
asked what other companies were looking to buy the app.
(36:02):
He declined to respond. China's first human robot half marathon
will happen in April. Beijing will host the world's first
ever long distance race, pitting humans against running robots. Twelve
thousand human runners will be racing alongside humanoid robots on
a thirteen mile course. The race is no joke, as
prizes are up for grabs for the top three finishers
(36:23):
in both categories. The robots were developed by over twenty companies.
They must walk on two legs and can't have wheels. Also,
both remote controlled and fully automatic humanoids are eligible to race,
and this seems unfair. Batteries can be replaced along the
race route. That's just I mean that rule. I don't
know why they have that. And for the first time
(36:43):
in three weeks, all Palisades residents are now allowed to
return home. Most residents will still need police escorts, and
there's still a six pm curfew and Starbucks rolling out
a new free refill policy. Anyone who dines or drinks
inside will get comp phillips on hotter ice, coffees and
teas not bad. It excludes coldbrew, nitro and refreshers and
(37:04):
the Starvey's condiment bars back. The whole thing is right there.
They have a new CEO. He wants to recapture the
community coffee house feeling. And we have a mostly sunny,
cool day today for your Tuesday attempts not even touching

EID is happening on Thursday. You knew that. With the
help of twenty broadcasts and streaming partners, fire Aid will
raise funds for LA wildfire relief and prevention. So this
(38:15):
just in. By the way, The Kia Form show starts
at six pm and then the Into It Dome show
starts at seven thirty. Connie and Steve Balmer, who right
away gave fifteen million dollars right when the fires were happening.
They have agreed to match all donations made during the
live broadcast. Oh my gosh, so if fifty mil comes in,
(38:38):
all of a sudden's one hundred, it's amazing. Fire eightla

and Steve Baumer, You're gonna match all donations. They're just
opening it up. It's amazing. So thank you Ballmers. We

Just to a thirty minute stand up. She went to
the comedy store in New York City with Amy Schumer
and got up on stage for thirty minutes. That's a
lot of time to fill and I heard everybody loved it,
so it's got a sense of humor. And there she
is on Coast one o three point five. We're the
k Morning Show and these tapes, well, this tape was leaked. Supposedly,
(39:42):
the Blake Lively and Justin Valdoni feud is nowhere near over.
A New York court early this morning set a child
date from March in twenty twenty six. The plan is
to consolidate their multiple lawsuits against each other for a
single jury to make a judgment. However, next Monday is
a pre trial hearing scheduled in New y Or to
consider the gag order on Baldoni's attorney, Brian Friedman. Blake
(40:05):
wrote the court yesterday quote, the endless dream of defamatory
and extra judicial media statements must end. It will not
stop without this court's intervention. And this all comes from
the Hollywood reporter. So I just love his voice. I'd
never really I loved the movie It ends with us.
(40:25):
I'd never really heard just his speaking voice, and his
character is complex. But he did leave a seven minute
voicemail apologizing to Blake Lively after our script meeting.
Speaker 10 (40:38):
I for sure fell short, and you worked really hard
on that and the way you framed it and how
that made you feel. I just want to say thank
you for sharing that with me.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
He sounds like Penn Badgeley and you series. Yeah, badally
playing the serial killer, but I don't know. Julie, thank
you so much. You heard us talk about this. You
have something to say about the Baldoni Blake Lively stuff.
Speaker 7 (41:11):
You guys fell to mention that it was a return
from her very long text message that she sent him
at one fifty. Oh, so I felt like you guys
kind of made it look like he just has a
blue caller at you know, left a voice message at
two am in the morning, God responding to her.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
Okay, that was not part of the story that we saw.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
It's really good. Are you? Are you obsessed with the case?
Speaker 11 (41:37):
Who is it?
Speaker 4 (41:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (41:38):
I know exactly.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
So what do you think is going to happen? Whose
side are you on?
Speaker 8 (41:42):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (41:43):
It's really hard at this moment, but I'm leaning towards
justin Okay, I haven't taken the time to read everything,
so just at first glance, it seems like she's releasing
a lot of stuff that's making her look wrong.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (41:59):
Right, So, but you know what, I work in a courtroom,
and I know that like what we see in the
media and really what happens in a courtroom are a
lot different. You know, there're two different things. So I'm
really gonna have to wait for the trial. Yeah, but yeah,
I mean it's given everyone a lot of entertainment. It's
(42:21):
giving the film a lot of press.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
You know, yeah, yeah, the film.
Speaker 7 (42:28):
Yeah, Honestly, I didn't like Blake Lively in the film,
and I actually really like her as an actress.
Speaker 12 (42:34):
Okay, So I just I just felt.
Speaker 7 (42:38):
Like it should have been given to someone a little
bit younger, and even maybe with Justin's character as well.
I don't know, but yeah, I just think it's really
sad that it's come to this.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
Yeah, So you guys are wonderful.
Speaker 7 (42:51):
Thank you for all the great entertainment and music.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
Well, thank you, thank you for listening, thanks for calling in.

starring Sterling Terley. That's really hard to say, Sterling K. Brown,
Oh my god. And he plays a secret service agent.
They dropped Hulu dropped an episode yesterday, but it's really
(44:12):
the big premiere is today. You get two episodes and
Sterling K. Brown is in this as a secret service
agent protecting the president named Cal played by James Marsden.
And it is so good the way it's brilliantly shot.
They do the flashbacks. It's the same producers as This
is Us. So if you're in love with that, you're're
gonna love this even more. Sterling K. Brown is also
(44:36):
the executive producer. So it's just it's delicious, it's juicy.
