you. But six years ago myhusband was in a very traumatic car accident

driving an eighteen wheeler, and hedecided that we should fruit our life and
move from Maine to California, whichwe did four years ago, and the
agreement was if after a year Iwasn't happy here, that we would move
back to Maine, where we bothlived our whole life. The day it

turned a year, I said,I'm ready to go back to Maine.
Okay, I'm stilling and I'm stillin California and it's been four years.
So I feel stuck here and Idon't want to lose my marriage. But
anytime we try to talk about relocationback to Maine, it always ends in
a fight, and we never fight. So I'm just not sure where to

go from here with it. Sowhen you talk to your husband about how
unhappy you are here, what areyou hearing back? So when we moved
here, we left everything behind,basically, and now what I hear when
I say, listen, I reallywant to go back home. He says,
well, we have a house here, we have jobs here. And
my comeback to that is we hadall of that when we left Maine,

and we left that to come here. And I've tried this, and I
mean, that's really as far asit goes. He's scared to go back.
He doesn't know what he's going todo for work, but I'm scared
to stay here. We have childrenand grandchildren in mean, it's just home
in California to me, is notWhat is it that he gets out here

that he can't get back at home? I mean, why can't He's got
you, and he's got the entirefamily there. So he has two children
here from my first marriage that hedidn't get out So that's why we're came
here, Okay, But the relationshipwith them hasn't really grown much since being
here. Do you think that's oneof the reasons why he wants to stay

is what hasn't grown yet, andthat's what he's hoping is going to happen,
and it very well maybe okay,and I tried very hard to understand
that. But on the flip side, when I'm waiting for him to grow
this relationship with his children, ourchildren of main, I have you know,
three granddaughters there, and when wemoved here, our youngest granddaughter was

nine months old and she's going tobe five. Okay. I think you're
in the driver's seat here and youneed to make a decision instead of Peter,
because he's made it for four years, and you need to say this
is what I want now? No, And that's kind of where I'm at.

committed to being here, stayed heremuch longer than you actually committed to being
