Emily comes back to join Angie and Bryn as we establish our new normal with the three of us, and brings her first album choice to the pod with Broken Bells' 2014 sophomore album, After the Disco. We all agreed it was a strong start to her suggestions and despite wandering into tangents, many of which ended up on the cutting room floor, we found lots to discuss about this band.

On this episode we come in under our usual time due to technical issues when we were recording, but we were so excited to talk about 1971's Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory that we pushed on and tried to still salvage an episode out of it. We figured it's a bizarre movie with weird music and this bizarro episode is probably suitable. I SAID GOOD DAY!

For this episode we took it way back to 1960 for the TV broadcast of the 1954 musical of the story of Peter Pan, Staring Mary Martin and Cyril Ritchard. Bryn and Angie reflect on how despite this being the most low budget production they've ever seen, everyone they spoke to over the week had absolutely seen it.

Angie teaches us that this falls into a new category of musical that we were unfamiliar with, Rob doesn't hold back about his love for Nicole Kidman, and Bryn just can't enjoy a good thing and needs to discuss tuberculosis.
