Speaker 1 (00:00):
I don't know if if you've seen and heard the
reaction from a lot of Democratic voters after the election
was announced. But the craziness is just insane. Rob Conrad
I joined us here in this Studay morning. Good to
see you, buddy. So here's a little montage of some
of the spewing crazy madness out there. I just listen
(00:21):
to this. No, no.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Is anyone else helping the meltdown. I don't know how
to do this. I don't know how to wait.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
I'm so stressed.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
How you can't look out into the world, into the
people of this country and see what's happening. I go
from hysterically crying one minute over the pain of this situation,
and then hysterically crying the next minute. It's a.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Betrayal.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
How am I supposed to go to work? How am
I supposed to get out of bed one foot at
a time?
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I mean, do you remember in twenty sixteen Madonna was saying,
I figure I'll blow up the White House.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
I'm moving to Canada. How many celebrities have said they're moving.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Yeah, A friend of mine is a real estate agent, said,
those of you who are moving, please let.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Me list your house. You know Yeah, where do I
send the extra bucks to buy the plane ticket for you? Yeah?
The reaction has been kind of crazy on this, and
you were telling me I didn't get the whole story,
so I said, well, I want to hear about it.
Tell me what happened. You and Fran went to a
restaurant on Cobba Heights.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Was, yeah, we were in Mudtown last night.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
It was one of our favorites.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
What happened, Well, we were sitting at a table for two,
and if you're familiar with Mudtown, the tables are pretty
close together. There was two ladies sitting probably ten feet
from us, and then a guy walked into the restaurant.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
It was wearing a Trump shirt.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
And Fran, my wife friend has been big, big enthusiast
for Trump throughout this whole thing. And so the guy
walks in with the shirt and she and Frand goes
yay Trump with her fist in the air like fight, fight, fight,
And this woman next to us looks over and says,
he stole the election and I and I said, I said,
explain to me, please, how this was a mandate, a
(02:14):
sweeping mandate like we haven't seen in twenty years.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
How did he steal the election.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
She said, because of Putin and Elon Musk What seriously?
And at that point, Fran has told me there's two
times in our twenty seven years of marriage she's seen
me explode. One was when we ran into her ex
husband and he was giving her a bad time and
I kind of bushed on the guy and said, back off.
You know, anyway I change, It's like the incredible Hulk.
I changed into sort of a mad, raving fiend. And
(02:42):
I said, are you kidding me?
Speaker 2 (02:44):
What?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
You seriously believe that Putin had something to do with
my vote in the Mountain Brook church that I voted for,
that he influenced this thing somehow? What are you talking about?
And I went nuts and the waiters calmed down, Sir
caled you have to take it out.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Did you finish and separate and go to your own corners?
And yeah, we did move tables.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
We moved outside and there and there we met. We
met the nicest couple outside. Do I have a second
and tell the story. So a nice couple. They were
there with their young son, kid was probably two years
older or I'm not going to give the names. I could,
but you'll see why I'm not. It's a private thing
with them. This couple with a young son, and we
were talking about the election and what happened inside. And
(03:27):
this guy he says to me, he says, I'll tell
you why I voted for Trump. And he said, and
he pointed to his son, and he said, we adopted
this little boy. And his wife is here today because
his mother was thinking of aborting him and she didn't.
At the last minute it was changed and she was
he was this little boy here was almost aborted. And
I'm pro life, and that's why I voted for Trump.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Wow, you know. And then and the screen from the
left is Trump is not in favor of family and children.
It's so ridiculous that the hate that's being weird still
it still will be.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
And I think that the fact that it's been a
mandate though, and it shows them that you know, they're lies.
They can lie all they want, but people are getting
to be a little smarter than that, don't you think.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yeah, I don't know if you've seen the latest map, Judy,
just send me this about twenty minutes ago. And what
it looks like in our country is it's red. It's red.
It's a wave of red from you know, south to north,
east to west, and that sprinkling of little bits of
blue here and there, but this is overwhelmingly yeh, you know,
Trump City.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
I just wish that, you know, everybody like the old thing,
you know. I wish we could all get along because
it is the way it is, and things will be great.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
People will see the improvement. It's going to be fantastic. Well,
thank you for sharing the story. Thank you
