On the Pulse (OTP) News Washington is a student news project made by students in the Washington, DC area. The goals of this project are: To produce content with a local, national, and/or international focus by and/or for student populations. To allow for students who may not have access to proper broadcasting opportunities the chance to expand their portfolio of broadcasting experience. To provide student journalists in DC and worldwide the chance to discuss their news reporting on a show dedicated to student journalism. To provide space for student journalists and producers to create and upkeep their portfolio space. To provide access to resources available across the country and around the world for up-and-coming journalists.
