Kevin? Great to talk to you. It's only been twenty
five years, bro, welcome back to the show. How are you?

It's Kevin Farley. We're here. He's here to talk about
the new book Growing Up with his late brother Chris Farley.
But Quinn's right, twenty five years ago. We talked to
you when you were promoting together, which was what a
fictional boy band back in two thousand.

Oh wow, yeah, that was so long.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
But you remember there was kind of a breakout role
for you, wasn't it.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
You know, yeah, I was, you know, he as the
boy break out band, you know, I mean we were
kind of a joke man.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Sure, and.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yeah, but we were on an mtvred of a hit.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
I know, I know there is.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
It's like a mockumentary gone wrong, right because people enjoyed
you well.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Between that and I'd like to see you bring back
up a sequel for Beverly Hills Ninja as well. You
could do that. It's been too long, my friend.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Oh yeah, yeah, that was that was Chris. That was
fun to me.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, Kevin, it sounds like you're on the road. Where
are you going?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Oh, I've had I'm in born and doingdom all right.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Yeah, so you're you're a traveling comedian. Now you're the
host of a podcast, a Farley Farm, and you also
have this book, Growing Up Farley. Is this a graphic novel? Kevin?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yeah? Yeah, nice?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Is that your idea?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah? Well it was mine and d two common guys
that work. Uh, they did do a lot of his
graphic novel, and uh I decided to, uh, you know,
go ahead with it. I thought it was a good idea.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
We're like, what are we twenty twenty five years from
your brother's death? You think this is a good time
to revisit that story and keep his legacy alive. Well,
it's really about my story and I grew and not
to focus on your brother. But it was very powerful.
Did were you ever jealous of his success out of
the gate?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
No? No, I mean I just thought he was doing great.
I was never jalous. I just knew he was very good.
Was dead.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
So did it make it harder for you that your
that your brother blew up that big No?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Not really.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Keviny kids.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
We have two step kids, her kids.

Yeah, Kevin Farley on the phone and promoting his new
book at Graphic Novel, Growing Up Farley. Chris's sorry with
talk about Chris Farley as well. I wanted to go
back to your brother for a second. The Sandler tribute
that he released a couple of years ago. Have you
heard it? Did it? Did it move you?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah? That was really nice Tandler. They were a good friends.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, I mean the story about him, him him listening
to that song, thinking about your dad. I mean, I
just just thinking.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
About Yeah, I know, I feel like he's kind of
the buddy that's tough to talk to at the bar
here they can be like you, do you not want
to talk to us? Kevin? Are you busy? You say?
Are you doing something else right now? Are you driving?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Can you hear me? Okay?

It's a little tough, but you sound also a little distant,
like you got other stuff going on?

seen you. You you've gotten more handsome. We were just commenting
on your beautiful eyes on the Wikipedia.

My friend, you do look better now, Hey, looking good?

You're great bro.

Wow. Really, yeah, I must say that as I get older,
you know, I don't know. I've been trying to lose
some weight, I got more hair.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
I think it's the glasses, man, I think it's the readers.
Oh really, you look like you're like David Harbor from Stranger.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Things you do I would not untrue.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Hey, let me ask you, and I'm being all serious.
Have you ever had a conversation with Jim Belushi? I
mean you, you guys are in very unique company.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yeah, kind of interesting, right, I've never.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Really hung out with Gamm. I don't really have much
to do with them, you know, but I guess it's
a similar Condis story.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Yeah, I hit a lot of success, more success than
I did.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
He he grows. He's got a pot farm. Now he
got Damn Stoner.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Now you working on a pot farm, Kevin?

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Oh, yeah, he does have a potm I can't believe
having a food farm would be belie.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Everybody's got a pot brand. You should come up with one.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Well, it's uh the new books Growing Up Farley. We're
talking to Kevin Farley. The Pickleball movie is coming out,
and we'll look for the podcast Farley's Farm. Uh, and
we'll probably swing over and play some pickleballs. That you're
